Ivar smiled when he heard her and nodded, "then come, the town awaits." He said as he stood up and smiled at her. He then moved towards the door and couldn't wait to show her everything. The lakes were wonderful and he was sure that she would like them. Opening the door, he waited for her to come so that he could lead them out of town and towards the lakes.

"So... what will I do if I can't be sent back home?" Silvia asked softly but really wanted to know what he thought would happen. He deffinitely was someone she could trust, sure she would have to learn what the different colors meant but once she figured them out she knew he wouldn't be able to tell her wrong... or at least that's what she thought. She easily walked out of the room and waited for him to lead the way but still seemed rather happy and not bothered at all

Ivar thought for a bit and then smiled at her, "well if worst comes to worst and your stuck here, you will probably live normally or at least as normally as you can with how things are." He said as he lead her out of the castle and into town. A few elves stared but for the most part people didn't bother them. They were too busy with their regular lives to take a close look at Silvia, "and if you do end up staying here, I will be here to help you with anything you need. I am at your service." He said as he smiled at her and hoped that she would be okay with that, "but for now, what do you think of town?" He asked and hoped that he could move the topic to something less depressing for her. He wanted her to enjoy town, how nekos had their food stands around, werewolves were working in the blacksmith, and how everything was nice here.

"I really like it, everything is so interesting... but it's a little... uncomfortable to be looked at so oddly." she said softly but continued to smile as she walked with him and looked around happily.

Ivar smiled at her, "well it can't be helped, you look like something that can't exist to us. It is almost like your-" "DEMON!!!" was all you heard as someone screamed and pointed at Silvia. "MONSTER!!" he called as he got closer to her and glared right at her, "Sir, your mistaken, she is a goddess-" "Shut your mouth boy." The man hissed at Ivar before glaring at Silvia again, "She is no Goddess, she isn't right, she isn't right." He said again and got closer to her, "She is the devil, the thing that will cause our distraction, not a goddess." He hissed right into Silvias face before Ivar went and stood between her and him, "Sir, I will have to ask you to back off." He said as his hair changed to a bright red, clearly not happy and you could hear a slight hiss coming from him as he glared at the man.

Silvia shrunk behind Ivar and trembled fearfully looking around worriedly. "P-please... I-I don't want to hurt a-anyone... I-I just want to go home" she whimpered weakly and fearfully. "I-Ivar" she whimpered as she noticed people getting closer to her and heard allot of growling and snarling. Some of the larger creatures almost looked hungry from where she was and that just scared her even more.

Ivar glared as the man moved closer to him, "Boy she is dangerous. She is just pretending to be weak and defenseless. Let me show you." He said as he picked up a rocked and then threw it at Silvia. Ivar caught it and glared at him, his hair seemed to be on fire as orange was added to the red. Slowly his body seemed to grow bigger till something that looked like a cross between a alligator and a bear stoon where he was. Its furr was the same color as Ivars hair had been ad the tail wrapped around Silvia possessively and protectively, "If anyone dares to touch her, hurt her, or anything, I will crush them." He growled as everyone back up from him, No one ever wanted to piss off a shapeshifter.Crouching low, he looked at Silvia, "please get on, I will get you out of here safely.

Silvia flinched as she saw the male pick up a rock but relaxed a little when she saw Ivar grab the rock. She gasped in shock as he changed. She then hugged his tail a bit as hit wrapped around her and made her feel safer. Slowly she nodded and moved to get onto his back and wrapped her arms around him softly but strong enough that she wouldn't fall.

Ivar stood up then on all fours and watched as the people still backed up. Growling at them, he stepped forward and they slowly made a path for him. "Remember this, she is under my protection and I will do my job till I die." He hissed and then headed down the street. No one wanted to get near him now. The reason shape shifters made great protectors were because they could change and their anger only made them stronger. Once out of the city, he stopped, "your welcome to get off if you like or I can continue giving you a ride." He said, his fur slowly turning from fire to a very soft yellow that was mixed with a light blue.

Silvia blushed a bit as she slowly got off Ivar's back but let her fingers trail through his fur. "Thank you Ivar, I really appreciate you protecting me." she smiled softly but looked at his form a little curious. "what type of creature is this though?" she asked curiously rather fascinated at this new and odd form.

Ivar felt her fingers trail through his fur and a purr like growl came from him, his fur changing to a slight pink and yellow. He smiled down at her, "I am glad that I could protect you." He said as he looked at her. He was just about to change back when he heard her, "This is what we call a Wentora. They are creatures that live on the ground and are kind of slow, but their fur is usually good camouflage so you don't see them till you get in their attack zone." He said and then held up one of the paws, "they have very long claws to help tear up their meat so that they an eat it." And with that he slowly turned back to normal and smiled at her, "but we don't worry about them since they live north of here."

"Oh okay" Silvia said softly then smiled at Ivar softly as he turned back to normal. "I am confused though... why does the king think I'm a goddess and the people in town think I'm the devil?" she asked unsure... how could they get two completely different ideas?

Ivar sighed and his hair turned a light blue, "In a the kingdom far from here it was said that a person like yourself came to them. The person was said to have lead their kingdom to new nights but then destruction came to them caused by that person. So I guess they think the same thing will happen with you." He said as he looked at her, "I am guessing the king is only hoping for good while the citizens fear for the worst." he said as he looked at her and smiled, "but I know you won't hurt anyone and I will protect you."

"Oh.... well I'm no leader or anything like that... I just want to get home... I mean I want to be able to enjoy myself here while I can... but you're kingdom seems nice as it is... and I wouldn't know how to help even if you guys needed it." Silvia said softly with a small shrug before smiling at him a bit. "anyway how about we find those lakes or whatever they are." she smiled easily.

Ivar smiled when he heard her, "I know that is all you want, but they don't know that or would believe that. But that is why I am here, I will make sure that nothing ever happens to you and that you can go home." he said and found part of him wanted to wrap a arm around her to comfort her but held back. If she was going to go home it was better not to get too attached to her. "and the lakes are this way." he said as he held her down a path and after a little bit you could hear soft singing in the distance. It sounded enchanting and something unworldly.

"I'm sorry I know it probably doesn't sound good for me to be so ready to go home... I do like being here I just wish I knew how to get home, it would just make me more comfortable ya know." Silvia said softly and smiled brightly as she heard the melody. "Wow that's beautiful." she smiled brightly as she moved to see the singing lakes

Ivar smiled at her slightly, "I think I know what you mean. Homes are a very important place that you always want to be able to go back to." he said and smiled even though his hair turned a dark blue. Yet his ears perked up when he heard the lakes and his hair lightened to a light blue in a matter of seconds after hearing the lakes, "yes, it is beautiful." he said and as they got closer you could see that the lake was fed by a wonderful which was causing the songs to form. "this is my favorite place to be, more calming then any other place in the world." he said as he closed his eyes and took in the songs. His tail twitched happily as he listened and it was clear to anyone that he loved listening. He then turned to her and smiled, "if you want to change the song, just tap the water." he said and waited to see if she did.

"Wow really? That's so cool!" Silvia smiled brightly and tapped the water to see if the music would change. "Wait can I put my feet in the water or would that mess it up somehow?" she asked feeling a little silly but there was no way for her to know so she knew he wouldn't think weird of her.

The instant that she touched the water the music changed. It's tune changed and it seemed to grow calmer but then louder at certain points. "Each movement you make in the water changes the song, so if you sick your feet in, the tune with change but that is about it." he said as he smiled at her. Slowly his body seemed to grow smaller and soon something that looked like a otter crossed with a turtle appeared. Looking up at her, he smiled, "watch." and with that he jumped into the water, changing the tune. Swimming around, each stroke changed the song and soon it sounded as if there was a orchestra playing for them.

"WOW! That's so cool!" Silvia smiled brightly both at his form changing and the music changing. Slowly she moved to take off her shoes and slip them into the water smiling as she heard the change. She then looked up and around a bit as she felt an odd gaze on her back... it felt so... dark. But who would have fallowed them after what just happened?

Ivar smiled as he continued to swim around, enjoying himself as he listened to the sound. Yet when he turned to see Silvia putting her feet into the water he got a smell of something. It smelled odd and he didn't like it. So he headed back towards Silvia when he let it, the eyes. As he put a paw on the bank to get out, his body slowly shifted again. His tail lengthened and his body became bulkier. The shell he had grown started to cover all of his back and he looked like a armadillo and a tiger mixed together. Curling around Silvia, he growled, "whoever is there, show yourselves so I can can decide weather or not I should tear you to pieces." he growled and watched the shadows, waiting.

"Oh dear a shifter... how pathetic." A male voice chuckled before Silvia seemed to disapear but was soon seen again being held by a male with black and red hair with crimson eyes. His teeth glinted darkly as they brushed against her soft neck and she shook fearfully. "Oh how many years has it been since I've seen such a creature such as this? I guess someone finally found that cursed portal we left in the other world... shame normally they appear on our turf I don't know how she got so close to this kingdom... don't worry I can take her off your hands." the male grinned and Silvia trembled. This was unreal... vampires created that book that she had gotten? They were expecting her there?

The instant that Silvia disappeared from his side a horrible growl emitted from him as his eyes narrowed in on the man. The armor on Ivars back seemed to come up and now that they weren't down you could tell they were hard and sharp. "Let her go." it wasn't a suggestion, it was a demand. "If you stick any of your teeth into her, I will personally make sure that I will hunt down every vampire and kill them." For the first time his fur didn't change colors but his eyes. They turned blood read and he growled slowly as he stared to circle him. It was now you could see why shifters were feared, they could be everything you feared all at once with rage to back it up. "She is mine, you got that. So get your hands off of her now." He hissed one last warning. If he didn't, he would tear him to pieces.

"You foolish beast, I am way faster then you. And besides, didn't I hear this little beauty say she wanted to go home? I can do that for you you know?" the male grinned and Silvia looked at him in shock then gasped as they suddenly appeared on a branch high above the ground and she became deathly still terrified of falling. "Oh it seems I found a weakness, tell me dear does this frighten you? Maybe you should call off you're pet... wouldn't want to go any higher now would you?" the male grinned loosening his arm a bit which made her feel like she was about to fall and cry out grabbing onto him in fear. "Oh I think she likes me now, so why don't you go back to your owner boy?" he smirked and Silvia looked at Ivar pleadingly just wanting to be safe and back on the ground.

Ivar hissed when he heard him, his entire eyes turning red. The vampire was right, he wasn't fast enough right now, but he could be. The instant that he headed into the tree with Silvia was the instant that Ivar started to shift. In seconds what looked like a gryphon stood but at the same time it looked like it was something different. It looked sleeker and slimmer, something that was faster. "If your not going to give her back, I will take her." He hissed and pushed off the ground. It only took him seconds to be right in front of him and only a few seconds more for Ivar to grab ahold of Silvia. Holding her close to his body, he then turned his body back into that armored tiger form and circled up around her. Letting them fall to the ground and once on the ground he uncurled himself from around her and stood over her protectively, the armor sticking up again. "She is mine and I will make sure you won't lay a hand on her." He growled and it took everything in him not to attack the vampire. Yet if he did, he knew that Silvia would be taken then.
