Akasha kept a wary eye on the new person in her home, her tongue flicking out as she stretched out to get a closer look at the man. Tenshi reached out and took hold of Zaibu's hand and smiled gently as he felt Akasha make her way towards Zaibu, pausing every now and again to look at him and taste the air. She knew exactly what he was and was curious as she mae her inspection of Zaibu.

Zaibu smiled when Tenshi took his hand. He gave his hand a gentle squeeze. He continued to watch Akasha. "You are pretty one." He said to her with a smile. When she got closer he held out his hand to her. It was good to know that Tenshi wasn't afraid of snakes. If he ever decided to tell him about what he really was it should make it a bit easier. Though it would be awhile before that was even an option... or maybe not. He should be straight forward with Tenshi. He would at least have to wait until he became an exile. If he told Tenshi now it would just put the young human in danger.

Tenshi giggled, "she likes you I think, she seems rather relaxed." He said as Akasha rubber her head against Zaibu's hand and looked at him expectantly. "She likes it when you scratch gently at her head." Tenshi informed the other man as he slowly stood and gently finished moving Akasha onto Zaibu. "I need to make lunch, would you like a sandwich?" He asked as he made his way to the kitchen.

"A sandwich would be wonderful." He said gently scratching Akasha. "Some sort of meat if you have it." He feels very comfortable here. "You know don't you." He said softly to Akasha. He knew that the snake would know. He had been able to sense Akasha even before he had seen her.

Akasha bobbed her head in the affirmative before climbing her way to his shoulders to settle.
Tenshi came back a few moments latter with two plates, each with identical sandwiches piled high with roast beef. He held one out to zaibu and smiled lightly "Here you go, lots of meat." He grinned and sat back down before bitting into his own sandwich. "So when do you have to go and visit your family again?" He asked in between bites.

"Not for a couple weeks." He said taking a big bite of the sandwich. The roast beef was still a bit on the rare side. If he couldn't have raw meat this would do. He stroked Akasha as he ate. "Akasha is gorgeous by the way." He said as he ate.

Tenshi nodded and finished half of his sandwich before he set his plate side and stretched, his arms going over his head. "Mmm...what do you do for fun?" He asked and licked his lips.

Zaibu watched Tenshi lick his lips. He wondered what it would be like to kiss those lips. He was distracted that he didn't catch the question. "Um... what was the question?" He asked blushing deeply. He can't believe he had gotten so distracted. He was very glad Tenshi couldn't see.

He might not be able to see, but he could hear, and the slight catch in Zaibu's tone told him everything. He laughed lightly, "I asked what you do for fun, like hobbies, or activities that you like to spend your time doing." He said as he picked up the other half of his sandwich and started eating it.

"I do a bit of hunting, I really enjoy being out in nature." He said knowing that Tenshi knew. This caused him to blush even more. He just couldn't believe how comfortable he is around Tenshi. And he will tell him the truth once he breaks ties with his family. He owes it to Tenshi to do that.

"Mmm, the only killing I do is grabbing one of the rabbits and letting it out so Akasha can hunt it." He smiled lightly as he stood and held out a hand to his new house mate. "Let me show you around." He said and smiled, he did want his new friend to be able to get around the house easily.

Zaibu takes the offered hand. "I would love to see around your place." He said with a smile. He hoped that Tenshi would want to be with him when he found out the truth. He stroked Akasha's head as the two of them stood.

Tenshi showed the man the main floor, the living room, dining room and large kitchen with an Island in the middle, then he took him up stairs. "This is my old room...the one I had as a kid." Tenshi said and pointed to the open door immediatly to the left of the staircase. "Second door is the upstairs bathroom, and to the right is the study, I spent a lot of time in here with tutors when I was younger." Tenshi paused at the last door directly infront of hte stairs and down the hall. "The Master bedroom." Tenshi said softly and opened the door, the room was done in blues, the King sized bed looked inviting even with the blankets tangled as they were like someone had just gotten out of bed, pillows thrown haphazardly at the top of the dark wood headboard. He did not need the mirrors but the closet had them on the sliding doors and another door led the Master Bath.

Zaibu followed Tenshi around the house. Akasha still around his shoulders. He looked into Tenshi's childhood room briefly, he would have to come back and take a closer look. He paused outside the master bedroom. It reminded him a lot of his parents room, only there was done in greens. But it was just as majestic. "You have a nice place." He said with a smile in his voice. "It must be nice to still be able to live where you grew up."

Tenshi nodded lightly and smiled at Zaibu. "Let me show you down stairs." Koji murmured and led his new friend to the basement.
Tenshi had several items in the space, one bust, a horse in mid buck with a cowboy on it's back and a very complicated peice on his work table. The piece had several snakes coiled and wrapped around a beautiful woman, only a quarter of the scales on the reptiles was done.

"You do amazing work." Zaibu said in awe seeing Tenshi's work. He was a bit jealous. "I have no skill in any of the arts, much to my mothers disappointment." He moved around the room just taking everything in. "Perhaps though I just haven't had the right teacher." He said with a chuckle remembering all the tutors his mother had brought in to work with him.

Tenshi smiled lightly, "Thank you, though I need to find a new photographer, my current one is going to be moving and I like to keep an updated portfolio." He said and smiled lightly as he made his way back up stairs. In his own home it was like he was not blind, he knew every corner and every step.

"I'd help you but I have zero skill in any of the arts. Unless you count sword fighting as an art." He said with a small chuckle. "Which I have to say my mother does not. Though my father does." He followed Tenshi back up the stairs. He felt that he would truly like living here. Though he hated that he'd have to leave Tenshi unprotected when he went home. Maybe he could convince him to stay inside while he was gone.

Tenshi smiled lightly, "it is an art, it just requires your body instead of other things." Tenshi told his companion and moved back to the living room.

Two weeks had passed and Zaibu had moved all his stuff in with Tenshi. It's time for him to go home and he isn't looking forward to it at all. Though he still plans on going through with leaving the family. He knew this could back fire on him but he is already tired of hiding who he truly is from Tenshi. He finishes packing a small bag. "Please promise me you will stay inside where it's safe while I"m gone." He said to Tenshi.

Tenshi crossed his arms over his chest and rolled his eyes. "Zaibu, just because I am blind does not mean I am helpless. How long will you be gone for, and why do I need to stay inside?" He asked as he walked around the room. He had given Zaibu one of the other bed rooms, Tenshi did not feel comphortable sleeping with someone so new and had not even kissed Zaibu yet.

"I know you can... but what about when we first met? I am not sure how long I will be gone." How could he tell Tenshi that he cared so deeply for him that the thought of something happening to him scared him. He didn't want to loose him, to come back to find out he had been beaten to death in an alley.

"That is not a normal occurrence." Tenshi said softly and blushed, "But fine, I will stay in the house. I have several commissions to work on." He murmured and reached out, once his fingers found Zaibu he surged forward and wrapped his arms around his companion, "But you need to promise me to be safe as well." He said softly and clung to the man's shirt tightly.

Zaibu is shocked to find Tenshi's arms around him, though it isn't an unpleasant feeling. He put his arms around Tenshi holding him close. He wondered if this would still happen when the truth was out in the open. And how was he even going to begin to tell Tenshi what he was. Would Tenshi think of him as a monster? He didn't know if he could deal with that. Though he pushed those thoughts away as they would do him no good. "I will do all in my power to stay safe." He said still hodling the young human close.

"Good...Come back soon." Tenshi said softly, moving his hands to Zaibu's front and up his neck to cup his face. He leaned in and placed a quick kiss on his cheek before he pulled away, his cheeks a light pink.
