The Return of the Forsworn (Private Group Roleplay)
(SuperZombiePotatoe: Maha-Aamir: Grapefruit Wannabe: Pistachio_Moustache: Fuu-Chan: 2600: Kenome-Chan: Sleepy Anarchy:
Just a Note, You don't need to use your avatar name, you can make up your own, I use mine, well, cause it's awesome. I pinged everyone, for those that will join later, or those that just want to read.) A Dragon was crawling away from the Keep, holding it's sides. "How....how could I die.....by the hands....of a mere human?!"it said. Andraus suddenly jumped atop it's back. Holding his blade up in the air, he plunged it into his neck, causing the beast to roar, and collapse onto the ground. Pulling his blade free from the Dragon's neck, Andraus spoke up. "Silence, monster. It's time for you, to go back to the underworld."He said, to this dragon alone. Looking around, finally noting at the silence, meant that they had won. Andraus had just came from the battle, but he could scarcely believe it. He then climbed atop the watch-tower, to look at all the survivors. Not many were left, but that was more than Andraus had expected to survive. "Castle Rogue.....after 250 years.....Castle Rogue is finally back in human hands!"He yelled. The Three Orders of Knights all began cheering. They had a Fortified Castle back in their hands, and who knows what in the way of treasure down below? Even if it was for the moment, he wanted his allies to enjoy the sight, and sound, of victory. |
From atop a hill not to close and not to far away lay a dragon. When you looked at this dragon up close it was red with hints of purple and gold in its scales, from afar it blended right in with the scenery.
Now this dragon had watched the battle from atop this hill the whole time. Not moving nor blinking. It was taking in every detail it could about what was going on. For this dragon was different from the rest, it hoarded stories and history instead if gold or treasure. It was saddened by the site of the other dragon brethren dying but it dared not move for if it did it surely would of been seen. Instead it stayed still and watched as the knight in golden armor took out its brother. ((Here is to hoping I did this right. Haha.)) |
(Hope this cuts it!)
The cheers were deafening and they carried all around the walls of the ancient castle. This was a day of victory and, even though the stones were red dark and the air was foul and the corpses were many, it was glorious. The time for mourning and rebuilding would come later. Now was the time celebration and, very soon, rest. The young mage longed to add her voice to those of her fellow Knights, to throw up her fist from excitement or perhaps collapse to the ground from relief, but that was all fairly unimportant at the time. She needed a good amount of concentration for the task at hand. Muttering the old words, the Mage held her hand, from which blue light emitted, over the large gashes on her left arm. The dragon had caught her off guard. Any closer and it would have taken her arm, but luckily she was light on her feet. Only a light scar remained after she had healed the wound. Atleast she would have a reminder of this wonderful and terrible day. The mage stood up, not bothering to dust herself off, and wondered towards the castle. Castle rogue, she thought as she gazed at it, who would have thought you’d actually see the inside of it, Aedre? Suddenly she remembered something and she cupped her hands around her mouth. “Fu!” she called,”Fumofu! Where’ve you gotten to?” At once she heard a frantic clucking and her little chicken companion flailed up to here and fluffed it's already dishevelled feathers. “Thank goodness,” said Aedre and she patted the chicken on her head, then looked around,”I knew you were a tough bird. Come, we must see Andraus in the watch tower.” |
Devian heard the sound of victory and death. Within his room lay drawings of various ideas and research. He could not tell which dragon was crying but knew that it was for the safety of the people. Devian could never bring myself to fight with swords. Within the castle there was an uproarious cheer. He got up, put on a coat, and took his pen and notepad to go to the site of the slaying. Even though Devian did not enjoy the actions, he always know that a slain dragon leads to more research. When Devian was outside he noticed Andraus from the watch-tower.
[I tried: pm me if I should change stuff] |
Pim heard the cheering and figured the event happened. She looked up at the sky and noticed the smoke clearing. "We won...look at that." she said to no-one. She picked up her pack and slung it over her shoulder. It was time to continue her search for her family. She had heard about a great wizard who could help with her search. She hoped that this wizard could.
Pim began walking away when she remembered she was supposed to meet Andraus at the watchtower. "Oh shoot! I cannot believe I forgot!" She quickly did an about face, and picked up the pace until she was running. "I'm coming, Andraus! Save some gold for me!" |
Felicity cheered as she saw the smoke clear, raising her hammer in the air. Her body was beaten and bruised but she didn't care. It felt so satisfying that victory was theirs! She was proud of her strength, and admired her handiwork. Resting her hammer on her shoulder, she skipped back to the watchtower to meet with Andraus and the others.
(ehehe I tried at least. Hopefully I did it right) |
(You didn't have to put that space between the sentences, one paragraph is fine until you get better, but you all are good!)
Andraus looked at all that had assembled. "The Victory is ours, My friends! We've earned a well deserved rest, but there is a minor detail we cannot over-look: The Dragon's hoard. "he said. "They've had 200 years to accumulate the Hoard underneath this castle. We have no idea how much is down there, but you can bet, it's going to be alot. The question of the matter is this: how will we divide it?"he asked. |
Noticing that the humans had flocked to the watchtower the dragon strained her hearing to hear what they were saying, "The Victory is ours, My friends! We've earned a well deserved rest, but there is a minor detail we cannot over-look: The Dragon's hoard. They've had 200 years to accumulate the Hoard underneath this castle. We have no idea how much is down there, but you can bet, it's going to be alot. The question of the matter is this: how will we divide it?" She heard a male human say, probably the one in the golden armor; he seemed the leader of them.
The dragon sighed. Another hoard gone, she thought. Her kind was dwindling down faster and faster these days. She was the only dragon that actually moves away from her hoard. What will the human do next? (I haven't thought of a name yet for my dragon.. This is saddening.. Lol) |
A small amount of people had gathered in the watch tower. Andraus and Felicity were the only ones in the room that she knew, but the fact that all had had been fighting virtually side by side made her feel calm. She took of her hat and ran a hand through her short, brown hair. "How will we divide it?" she echoed," I would say equally, but would it not be more prudent to examine the treasure hoard before deciding on that? Who knows what may still be lurking down there and getting a look at the treasure might make the task of dividing it somewhat easier." She shrugged meekly and Fumofu clucked in agreement. "Just a suggestion"
|
Devian surveyed the area and took note of the surrounding faces. Within the air was the question of what to do with the treasure, but no one knew what it was. Devian hoped for a share in whatever lay below, but shrugged because the life of an inventor is petty compared to a dragon slayer such as Andraus.

Pim collected her cool before entering the watchtower. She hated looking in a hurry.
Smoothing her hair, she smiled briefly. "You got this, PiM!" She tugged on her jacket and walked inside. ((See what I did there? xD)) What lay before her eyes was quite a sight. Beaten up, bruised and covered in soot, were her companions. She felt a little bad for leaving them right before the battle. But she did defeat some orcs in her travels, so she didn't feel too bad. She heard Andraus' words and regretted her decision in leaving. She could've help kill the dragon and gotten more gold. But she was a pretty good thief. How else did she get the amulet she was currently twirling around her finger? She looked up at Andraus. "Yo, you gonna come down or what? What if something else is lurking with the treasure? Hop to it, pretty boy!" She grinned mercilessly. "I say we split it evenly, you know, so there isn't any fighting. I'd hate for us to fight amongst friends, eh?" She twirled the amulet faster and looked at her surroundings more meaningfully. A warrior, an...inventor? Whoever he was, he was a bit queer with his gogg...Yeah, inventor. A wizard... Wait, was that...A WIZARD?? "You! Wizard! What's your name?" she shouted as she pointed to the lady with a chicken on her...head? She burst out laughing. "You...have a chicken...on your head!" she managed between her gasps of breath. She contained it quickly. "Ahem. Lovely chicken. Sorry I was so rude. I'm sorry, please continue...wait, you haven't even started. My apologies." She bowed to note that she was finished talking. ((Long post is long. But I've seen longer. Hehe, that's what she said. xD)) |
Maya Fermin Antonio, better known as Mad Maya on ‘The Queen Annabelle’ strolled her way towards the watch tower where Andraus had called everyone. As the stench of burning flesh filled her nostrils and the smog blinded her vision temporarily, Maya was reminded of the smell of sea salt she longed for… the exhilarating threat of death and the challenging excitement of loot. She was a proud plundering pirate. Castle Rogue stood in front of her in all its Majesty yet all Maya could think of was, The Queen Annabelle, ‘A Castle is no match for a Ship’, She sighed and entered the watch tower, where Andraus, an inventor, a vindicator with a hammer, a wizard with a chicken, and a suspicious looking pickpocket stood discussing the distribution of hoard. ‘I am right on time…’ |
Urgash stood up slowly and swung his ax at a nearby tree. "SHE DARE TO CONFUSE ME WITH OTHER ORCS?? URGASH GET GIRL!!" He stomped after the girl in black who just beat him up. He noticed her heading to the watchtower...the same watchtower he was supposed to go! "How Urgash and girl related?" He followed her in, and heard her speak. He loomed in the doorway and was silently growling as she made a fool of herself in front of the wizard. He looked up and saw Andraus. He smirked and walked over to the girl. He picked her up rather easily, and shouted, "WHO IS GIRL AND WHY SHE BEAT URGASH??!"
Pim felt herself get picked up and a look of panic set over her face. She looked to her sides, and noticed big, green hands holding her arms. Shit! An orc! She thought she had defeated them all! "Alright, you big lug, what do you want from me??!" She was set down and was turned around quite quickly. A large orc loomed over her. She recognised him and his wounds. She caused them. "Urgash, eh? I'm Pim, and it's a pleasure to beat---I mean meet you!" She stuck out her hand in an offer of peace, but it was struck away by the orc. Shaking her hand a bit, she laughed weakly. "I guess you're not that forgiving, huh?" The orc shook his head. "Look, I'm sorry. I thought you were one of them. At least I didn't kill you, right?" Urgash's temper began to boil. First, she can't even properly introduce herself, but she makes fun of him?! "PIM KILL URGASH'S BOUNTY!! NOW HOW URGASH SUPPOSED TO EAT?!" He noticed Pim wince at his words. Good. |
Aedre sat on the floor and leaned against the wall while Fumofu settled herself on Aedre's head. All that spell casting used up a lot of energy and now that the battle-lust was beginning to die down, Aedre began to feel the exhaustion weighing down on her. She watched in silence as the new arrivals made their way into the watch tower. There was young woman, a pirate by the looks of it, who was had just arrived. She was surrounded by an aura of energy. In fact, Aedre could hear it pulsing from where it sat. The Wizard's Ear, they called it. It was away that wielders of magic identified each other as well as other magical objects.
Aedre raised her hand and waved to the pirate. "Hello? Down here. Yes, if I'm not mistaken, you are in possession of the gift. You are a mage, am I right?" She then smiled and remembered her manners. "Heh, I have not seen you before. That is why I'm so cu-ah!" Fumofu was startled and sprung from Aedre's head, flailing as she ran and hid behind the inventor. She peeked out from behind his legs and clucked apologetically. Aedre rubbed her head and immediately looked up, to realise that a young women dressed in black was speaking to her or trying to, rather. She understood the laughter. People were still getting used to seeing Fu using her as a chariot, but the sudden questioning made her wonder. Why did the women ask for her name only. Perhaps in time she would find out. Once the women had gained control over herself, Aedre smiled and bowed low. "I am Aedre Mornsand of Gaelin. And that" she pointed to the chicken,"Is Fumofu. Don't ask me why, but she seems to like sitting up ther- Oh my." No sooner had she began speaking, did an orc burst through the doors and forcibly lifted up the girl. He called her Pim. Things seemed to be speeding up once again. And I thought would be able to atleast catch a five minute nap. Aedre raised up her hands and walked towards the large orc, who called himself Urgash. "Now, now," she began slowly," I don't know what's happened between the two of you, but perhaps you could discuss it without any violence. We've all had a long day. I personally would like to get going with what needs to be done. So, put her down, please?" |
Deciding it was time now that she show herself the dragon got up and stretched. She then flew over to the tower and landed atop of it. When she landed the tower creaked some; some rubble from it even fell from it.
She roared and spit fire up into the air so that the surrounding dragon knew what was going on. It also told them that they were next. When she finished the dragon then flew to the opening of the tower. Then with her special magic she changed into an elf looking person. She had bright red hair that went to her shoulders and looked like fire; all wild and every where. And sometimes on her skin there was patches of purple scales. Her pointy ears were almost not visible under all her hair but both ears had gold cuffs on them. Her eyes stayed the same as when she was a dragon: gold with her pupil being slits. And fear not for she was dressed properly. Wrappings of black were on her torso, arms and legs, and she wore a black harem skirt. She then made her way up the stairs, nervous of what was to come. When she got to the door she heard many things going on. She opened the door and then blew fire to the ceiling. "Calm thyselves! Be at peace! |
Maya immediately noticed the wizard watching her and sensed that her energy had made contact with a Mentor, or at least that is what she hoped for. Even though she had known she had some powers in her hand, which had many a times saved her life, she never really understood how to experience the full extend of its potential. Now maybe, she will learn something. "Hello? Down here. Yes, if I'm not mistaken, you are in possession of the gift. You are a mage, am I right?" The wizard spoke to her… "Heh, I have not seen you before. That is why I'm so cu-ah!" Before she could continue and Maya could answer back, the chicken on the wizards head sprung and ran away… ‘I guess the chicken can read minds too… tasty pet’ Maya thought with a smile on her face… Maya watched with amusement how the pet chick was making everyone relax after the battle and how everyone started to curiously inspect each other… Then the door burst open and Maya pulled out a small dagger as she saw an angry Orc enter the tower. As soon as he grabbed the girl that was talking to the wizard, she wondered what more excitement awaits them all. Maya had no idea what the two talked about but was glad she wasn't a part of it. She calmly put the dagger back in its casing that hung on her waist belt. The wizard however tried to calm things down and suggested they get going towards the main goal of distributing the treasures. “Ah! A wise suggestion indeed. Later, you both can carry on with whatever the issue you have with each other.” Maya smiled at them and turned towards the wizard. “Name’s Maya Fermin Antonio…but call me Mad Maya, and yes I do possess the gift and would love to learn more about it.” “By the way, tasty looking pet you have there…” Maya winked at the chicken. |
Since everyone is stuck on what too post, I'll just go ahead with the Hoard scene. This will make responding a whole lot easier, I bet)
"Ah! Urgash! good to see another Vindicator survived! look, we'll argue about this later, but first, we need to see what's down there."he said, leading the group down the hall-way. The Stone's and painting's, though tarnished, were obviously very valuable and ancient. There was a Banner bearing the Heraldry of the House of York, the dead noble house that once ruled here. It was a sad day when it fell, as it was one of the few houses of nobles that openly opposed the usurper. Andraus walked up too two wooden doors, and pushed them open. "By the sun, moon, and stars...." Piles upon piles of Gold, Jewals, Tomes of Lost-knowledge, and Enchanted weapons laid at the feet of everyone. The Massive room was filled to the near top with treasure mounds. Andraus reached down, and picked up a hand-full. "My god.....It's real.....all of it's real....someone pinch me, I must be dreaming. "He said. |
Devian surveyed the scene silently as Andraus shared his excitement with the group. It did seem surreal. Devian pondered what items he may take back to his small room. Maybe he could find a set of golden lock picks or keys to doors unopened. Devian was particularly interested in finding a rare golden revolver which could also be used as a brass-knuckle but he was never sure of their existence. There was cheer now but Devian feared that the group would soon debate what might happen to the treasure now that it has been found. Devian quickly pocketed a gold coin from the ground while the group had averted their gaze.
