Tallis had been waiting for words but instead he found a kiss on his lips. Smiling, he wrapped his arms around her and just held her close. Feeling her pull the covers over them, he smiled as he felt her roll him onto his back and he pulled her onto of him, she continued kissing her and loved each second of this. After the day of chaos he had just knowing he could be like this with Ebony without a worry in the world felt nice. Closing his eyes, he felt her kiss down his neck and instinctively a purr came from him. When he heard her words, he smiled and pulled her closer to him, "I will never stop loving you." he said as he went to her neck and starting kissing and leaving his mark there.

Piper nodded and blushed as she felt him caress her face, "your right." she said softly as she thought how easy it would be just to freeze everything when nothing went your way. But that wasn't reality, everything continued and changed everyday. Hearing him she couldn't' help but blush deeper though, "you have barely kown me for a day, how are you sure that I will be able to convince the king and advisors?" she asked as she looked up at him, hoping he would kiss her head again, maybe even the lips. Though when she felt his hand in her hair she couldn't' help but chuckle, "fear is defiantly powerful, but I will try not to come to it." she said as she smiled at him and glad he was there, "do you think eh treaty meeting will go smoothy? or do you think something will happen?" she asked, a little out of fear and a little bit out of curiosity.

Ebony blushed brightly at his kisses. She could only smile hearing his purr. She blushes brighter as he pulled her even closer to him. She felt her heart melt hearing his words as she kissed him back passionately. She blushed at her thoughts as she reveled herself to him only wearing his necklace as her bare skin touched, what was exposed of his. She didn't think as she acted letting her heart lead her as she kissed him passionately again. She slowly peered down at him hoping that he would want to be her alpha. She would happily take his mark and be his if he wanted to be. If he was going to be hers then she really wanted him to be hers. She hoped she hadn't read him wrong as she laid against him.

Loki looked to Piper as he just laughed."I don't know what will happen from one day or the next. I think you are smart and brave, you will succeed one way or another. I don't think it is going to be a walk in the park after tonight if that is what you mean. I think that this make take longer than you thought. Though I don't mind it. It means I get more time with you." He smiles as he looked to her seeing Silver joining them curling up on Piper. "Now you get some sleep lovely lady."

Tallis smiled as they kiss and made sure she never moved away from him. Though when he saw her bare he knew that she was his. Pulling her close he kissed her again and was glad she chose him as her Alpha. No one would take her from him now since she had his Mark. "You are marked now to claim you as mine in every way." he whispered to her and kissed her deeply as nothing was between them anymore ((time skip))

Piper smiled when she heard him laugh and nodded, "I hope your right because I would love to be able to succeed in this." she said as she looked at him. Smiling at the idea of spending more time with him she nodded, "i like the sounds of being with you." she said as she watched Silver join them in bed. Yawning a bit she nodded as she curled up against him, using his shoulder as a pillow. "Night Loki." she whispered as she fell asleep feeling safe and sound against him.

Ebony woke as she found herself curled up against Tallis. She smiled as she watched him sleep softly giggling as she gently kissed the tip of his nose. She blushed as she thought about his mark on her neck softly reaching for it as she gently felt it. Her skin slightly burned and tingled from it as she laughed hearing the baby dragons entering. She gently moved as she dressed herself greeting the baby dragons. She played with them as she walked to the kitchen and started fixing some breakfast for them. She laughed as she saw mainly meat in the fridge as the dragons got really happy as she feed them their part of it and cooked up the other steaks for her and Tallis. She cooked up some eggs to go with the meat as she put it on two plates. She walked over to the bed as she gently wafted the smell of the food towards Tallis nose .

She giggled knowing he would wake to it hoping he was in a better mood. She shook her head as some of the dragons wanted to eat their meat on the bed. "No the floor." She said as the dragons looked disappointed. She felt today would be better knowing the treaty meeting would be held shortly. However she had to get her handsome Dragon up for the day. She knew he needed the meat from the events of last night. She expected him to be tired today.

Loki smiled as he stayed up most of the night keeping her close. He feel asleep once the suns light touched the earth knowing they had made it through the night. He laid there as he dreamed of Piper flying through the clouds with her again. She looked so happy there. He thought as he dreamed enjoying his dream. He still held Piper as he slept just smiling contently. He had a good feeling about today or maybe it was just being with Piper.

Tallis felt movement and a second later he didn't' feel Ebony next to him. Listening he heard her head towards the kitchen and smiled. Relaxing, he knew that no one was going to take her and if they tried to now the dragons would attack. Dozing a bit, he let himself just enjoy this moment. He had Ebony with him, nothing was coming out to get him, the villagers had liked him yesterday. Nothing seemed like it could go wrong. If something did part of him wondered if he would be up to the task, ;last night had been a little exhausting.

Smelling food, he opened his eyes and slowly sat up. Seeing Ebony he smiled and wrapped his arms around her, pulling him close, "perfect morning." he said softly as he kissed her gently. Letting go of her then, he took one of the plates and instantly started to eat, "still the best cook i know." he said as he finished off his plate in a matter of minutes. He had missed her cooking, actually he had missed everything about her. Just another reason why this morning was perfect.

Piper woke up a little after sunrise and blushed as she saw she was still in Loki's arms. Yet she didn't' move or want to move. He looked so peaceful asleep and she couldn't' help but reach out and gently run a hand though his hair and down his cheek. This was one thing she could get use to when it came to not being blind. She actually got to see a rather handsome man asleep, better yet he was asleep next to her.

Ebony laughed at Tllis pulled her to him. She watched as he finished his plate in a matter of moments. She laughed as she took a few bites of her own and handed the rest to him. She figured he would need it more than she would. "It is a perfect morning." She said as she gently kissed him and blushes slightly as the dragons let out growls jealous trying to get in between them. The dragons then split as some horded around Talls the rest did the same around Ebony. Sparks wondered in as he took his place on Ebony's neck and dared any dragon to try and get his place. The dragons made her laugh as she felt Sparks around her neck. She blushed as some of the dragons ignored Sparks moving his tail and looked at her neck. Each one trying to claw at it playful apparently knowing it hadn't be there before.

Ebony gently petted each one as she kept moving them from her neck. She was happy when Sparks licked her mark lovingly and growled at the others as he guarded her neck for her. "I wish I could spend more time here with you. " She said after a while knowing she needed to get to the library. "I need to help Piper with the meeting this morning. I hope to see you after the meeting. " She said as she leaned over and kissed him again as she got up and headed out of the cave. She turned before leaving as she smiled. "I love you." She turned as she left the cave greeting by the warm sun. She smiled Sparks still wrapped around her neck. It made her smile as she gently nuzzled the little dragon. "You should be with Tallis you know he needs you too." She said to the little dragon who just shook it's head at her.

She made it to the pond when a hooded figured appeared. "What is going on." She said not seeing the other hooded figure that appeared around her. Sparks bit the figure behind her who smothered her behind with a cloth coated in a special chemical. Ebony was rendered useless in a matter of moments as the figure threw Sparks to ground. The small dragon yelled out trying to do it's best to protect Ebony. The figure vanished leaving only the one figure who peered into the cave eying Tallis. The figure just laughed as it dropped a star fish hair Pin that had been Ebony's covered in her blood.


Loki slowly woke as he felt something soft on his cheek. He woke to find a beautiful women beside him as he smile. "Oh I have died and went to heaven." He said as he tried to wake up seeing Piper still beside him. He pulled her closer happy to see she still let him hold her close. He had never thought he would be blessed to wake up next to a beautiful woman as Piper. He looked tired and worse for wear as he slowly let her go getting up from the bed as she stretched. He turned as he admired the view and looked out her balcony at the sun. " We should get you some breakfast and then to the meeting. " He said as he heard a commotion coming from the palace. He looked to Piper as he knew this wasn't good. "I need to go find out what is going on at the Palace. I have never heard the King anger before he is yelling."He said knowing something majorly went wrong.

Tallis smiled when Ebony gave him her food though only ate half of it before giving it back to her. As hungry as he was he knew that Ebony needed food just as much as he did. Hearing her he smiled and kissed her back but felt dragons wiggling around him. Looking down at them he chuckled at patted there heads, "it looks like we have a bunch of energetic dragons with us." he said as he tickled one a little bit, making it wiggle around more. When he saw how they were looking at Ebonys neck he laughed and pulled her close to him again, "and curious. But I will tell you all this now, she is mine." he said and kissed Ebonys cheek.

He wanted to stay like this for as long as possible but when he heard Ebony he sighed and nodded, "I will come after you in a second, I need to take care of these dragons first." he said as he pushed the one over playfully. Hearing her last few words he smiled, "I love you too." he said as he watched her go. Turning back to the dragons, he was about to take them back to there mothers when he heard something. Turning he saw Ebony not there and instead a man was standing there in her place. Seeing the pin with blood on it made his heart stop. Charging forward, he tried to tackle the man but he disappeared before he could do anything. "sorry animal, we got her and we aim to kill or keep her." He said, his voice a whisp in the air. Talis wasn't sure what emotion he felt more, rage or worry. But a second later he let out a scream/roar as he tried to figure out what to do as he cluched Ebony's pin in his hands. A second later he was charging towards the castle kwoing that the king may help him.

Piper laughed when she heard him and shook her head, "sorry, as much as it seems like heaven to me it isn't." she said and then blushed as he pulled her closer to him. Smiling, she wondered what the butterflies in her stomach meant. She would ask Ebony later, she would probably know the answer. When she watched him get up she wished that she could tell him to go to bed, he looked as if he had just been hit by a boat. Hearing him she nodded and slowly slid out of bed, "breakfast sounds good" she said till she heard the commotion that was going on. What was worse was that a second later she heard a scream that sounded so painful she found herself coving her ears. Looking at Loki she frowned, "I think the meeting isn't going to go easy and I am pretty sure today isn't going to be a good day." she said softly as she moved to go see what was going on.

Loki looked to Piper as he smiled at her. "You just have to be ready to argue your point. I hate to do this but I must go. I am needed in the castle." He said as he turned leaping from her window. He looked around as he hurried to the castle he froze as he saw a group of armed Mermaids the men looked enraged. He noted there was a minimum of thirty in the group. One was the Crown prince himself. He walked to the Kings side as the Prince spoke.

"Where are our people? You dare kill one of our people? Are you holding the other hostage? Where is your monster he killed my Queen to be." The prince said full of anger the others with him just as angry. "Did you think it was funny to stringing her up like a fish on the beach so we would see it?" The man said as two men brought in Ebony's body. She was dead her throat had been slashed and the Kings own knife in her heart. The sight make the Prince angrier as well as the people. "You see your own work. The others spoke of her being with your land monster. You killed one of my people and I'll do the same to one of yours. Your monster I want his head! We are going to bury our sister but not til we have Piper back." The prince said as the two men covered Ebonys body and headed out with it.

The King looked at the body as he saw the knife he reached to his side knowing he hadn't took it off but found it wasn't there. He looked to Loki as he shook his head to let him know not to say a word. "I and my Kingdom are innocent. You will not touch one hair on any in my kingdom as long as I am king. Be gone and send your King to see me instead." The king screamed out as the Prince glared at him. The Prince and the others turned and left it was easy to see they had no intent of staying away for long. Loki looked to the King as he heard everything. "There is no way Tallis would harm Ebony you know that. Your own knife how did it get there. That couldn't have been Ebony she is with Tallis it has to be a ruse. " He said as he looked to the king. "I know it isn't Ebony. I was warned last night by a hooded figure to not make peace with the mermaids. They want all out war between us. I don't understand what the figures have to gain." Loki tried to figure out what was going on.

Ebony woke as she found herself in a strange prison. She could see out but only in the shape of a mirror. She looked as she saw she was trapped in her mermaid form her arms had been slashed with something she noticed and her star hair pen was missing. She screamed out in horror as she saw a dead mermaid appear on the floor of the thrown room. She pounded against the wall of her strange prison. The girl wasn't her and she didn't want a war started over this. Where was Tallis she prayed he didn't believe it was her. She screamed and screamed trying to get Loki and he King to hear her but after a while she was unable to scream anymore. Her throat was so raw as she just leaned against her translucent prison wall.

She turned as she noticed there was water for her and other translucent walls each one showing different places. She wondered where she was. It was strange. It looked as if she could just reach out and appear anywhere. She saw places she didn't know even existed as she froze seeing that the walls open up to a large area full of different creators of all kind. All of them where marked and she could tell they where prisoners. She looked to left arm as she saw one of the bands on her arm matching the others. She saw the others look at her and just hand their heads feeling sorry for her. She didn't understand why they looked sorry for her she had only arrived. She could tell this place was full of magic and was connected to every land imaginable. She wondered how it was and why such a place would even be. She had more questions than answers.

Piper hurried downstairs and her worry grew as she heard the commotion that was going on. Yet as she rounded the corner she grew sick at the sight of Ebony. Tears trickled her eyes as she closed her eyes, wishing she couldn't see now. Opening her eyes, she saw Loki standing with the King and moved towards him to get comfort form him but before she could two guards were on her. Gently they guided her over to the Crown Prince and then forced a barricade around her as if she needed to be protected at all costs. "Please let me go over to Loki and the king. I am sure… I am sure that something is wrong." she said as she looked at the Crown prince, hoping he would see reason. Yet all reason seemed to fly out the door as she saw Tallis come in.

With each step that Tallis took towards the palace and the king he felt his blood heat up. Looking down at her pin, he pressed it close to his nose, smelling Ebonys sent deeply and making sure that it was etched into his memory. Yet the moment he stepped into the palace he saw the two sides at war and he smelled death. Growling, he looked around for the source and saw two men taking a body out of there. Without a thought he launched himself towards them, knocking them away from the body. HIs head then shifted into that of a wolf and he leaned down as he pulled the sheet away from the body. THe girl looked like Ebony in every way possible but as he sniffed it over he smelled it, she wasn't it. Growling, he stepped away as he let his head shift back into that of a humans.

It was then that he realized all eyes were on him and he could tell half of them were glaring at him. Turning, he looked at all and frowned, "not her." he said softly but even as he said that he knew many wouldn't believe him. Closing his eyes, he then sniffed the air and frowned, her sent was no where. When he opened them again he saw the Crown princes guards were surrounding him and it was clear they were out for him. Growling, he let himself grown claws and fangs as he looked at them all and was ready to kill. If anyone stood in his way of finding Ebony he would kill each and every one of them. "move." he said simply, hoping that for once in his life words would work. Ebony had taught him words could be powerful and he hoped that for once she was right.

Loki without thinking ran after Piper. He held out his hand at a fire ball appeared in it. His eye looked darker. The fireball vanished as he threw out his hands sending all the guards and prince flying. His wind gust hit them like a wall. He ran to Piper as he picked her up and held her he stood beside Tallis as he looked to the body that was now out in the open. He watched as the body changed to a hooded figure. The jewel that had been embedded in her body like Ebony's fell off as it shattered into pieces. The women laid there dead her hair now a beautiful black hits of tattoos running along her body from the holes in the hooded cloak. "They murdered one of their own?" Loki said in horror as the Prince and his guards rose.

The walked over and removed the hood as they stared at the strange women. The prince glared at Tallis wanting nothing more than to rip his heart out. But the others forced him to look at the women proving it wasn't one of theirs. The men shook their heads as they looked at the Prince. "Enough." One said to the prince as he looked ready to lunge at Tallis. The prince looked to the man who spoke as his temper flailed. "Ebony isn't here and this thing did something with her!!!" The other men grabbed hold of the Prince as they looked to Piper and the King. "We assumed the worst and we are sorry. It appears someone doesn't want us at peace after all. We will deal with the prince. Piper you are endanger here if you are going to stay we can't protect you." The elderly man said. The prince seemed scared of the man who appeared. The man nodded to the other guards who left with the prince and headed back to the ocean. The man smiled warmly at Piper. "I am the King's brother I came to see if the stories where true. I'm glad they where not. Ebony and you Piper never took me as two mermaids that would die so easily. You both have a knack of befriending any. But now the troubling part of this is where is Ebony and who is this. And who is making war among us? " The elderly man said as he stared at the dead female. "I have never seen someone like this in all my years. " His eyes shifted to Tallis as he walked to where he was and peered in them. He smiled as he grinned. " So your the one my nephew hates." The old man just died laughing as he shook his head. "No need to worry about him he will find another beautiful mermaid other than yours. "

His eyes went to Piper as he smiled. "I see another one of our mermaids has found her place among the land yet again. I thought if I helped Ebony return to her home there would be a handsome fellow waiting for her. It looks like I was right and one for you sweet Piper. The King and I found it hard to believe that the dear king and the others here would harm a mermaid. Now that we know this was a lie we would like to continue with our talks of peace." The old man said as he turned to leave he looked over at the dead female as he looked back to Tallis. " It's said in lore across the seven seas if love it meant to be it will be. Don't give up hope she may be closer than you think. Love can do strange things and even stretch across time." The man said as he turned to leave. "Piper you should follow your own heart. You have lived protected for fair to long with no adventure. Each mermaid has to learn who they are to gain their full power and knowledge. You might fine that you and Ebony are closer than you think little one. True guardians never know their true worth until they are tested." The man said in a cryptic way as he vanished before them only his laughter could be heard.

Loki just held Piper as he wondered what on earth was happening. He looked down as he saw a strange bracelet appear on Pipers wrist it held a jewel in it that looked like the ocean. The bracelet itself was made from silver and gold seaweed it looked like. He noticed strange script in it as he thought he saw a image of different mermaids floating about in the ocean. He then noticed the ocean looked dark as if it was missing something as he saw Ebony. She was trapped somewhere for once he saw her color as the jewel showed the oceans and what was missing. He was the different crowns of each ruler of the seas and noticed one was missing the thrown was dark and it looked to be missing it's ruler. He looked up as he wondered if he was the only one seeing this. He noticed Piper seemed to have change. Her clothing was different she looked like royalty. He blushed as he saw how beautiful she was the the crown that sat on her forehead. Another jewel just like the one on her wrist rested in the middle of her crown. She wore a dress that showed off her mid drift as well as mermaid armor adorned about her body.

He could hardly speak as he stared at her. He couldn't find any words as he just stared at her. She looked fierce and beautiful all that the same time. He hit the ground after stepping back and falling over something. He looked up as he saw a large ornate book where the old man had been. He noticed there were different color jewels on it to be exact there where seven. But only one Jewel glowed and it matched Pipers. He noticed the cover said, "The history of the Guardians and the Royals." He gently picked the large book up as he handed it Piper figuring it was hers not his.


Ebony turned as she swam back to the window where she saw the others. She stared in horror as she felt five other sets of eyes on the window. She turned as she saw five other mermaids. Each one was different as she was none of them looked like the other mermaids nor each other. The other mermaids looked at her and smiled as each one hugged her. She stared in wondered at them as she saw that each one's story in her mind from their touch she smiled as she saw they were like her and their home was above the Sea. Each one swam to a different window and showed her the human or being they called theirs. She noticed that each one had the same color jewels on their body except their for head each one on their forehead was different. She peered in the water as she saw she didn't have her jewel. The other mermaids just laughed as they spoke to her through thoughts by touching her arm. She saw that each one had gained theirs through acts of courage and bravery. She wondered if she would ever gain hers. She looked around the room at each as she saw the seven seas represented. The other mermaids grinned at one another as they knew she was starting to put together the pieces they needed her too. She looked at each mirror as the heir to the thrown appeared in the mirrors beside the mermaids with her. She noticed that each ruler had the same color jewel that matched the mermaids markings with her. When she looked to her own mirror she saw Piper.

She turned as she stared at Piper in her new attire she smiled at how beautiful the woman was. Piper no longer looked like a girl. She noticed the jewel and then looked at her own coloring. It matched her down to the hits of purple in it. She looked back to piper as it faded. She looked around at the others as each one showed her their power. She looked at her own as she wondered what it meant. The red haired male smiled as he finally spoke to her. "Each one of us represent something from the ocean. You are the mysterious nature of the ocean. You can make the water into what you will and can summon storms like none of the rest of us. little sister. We have waited for you, for a long time. However we have been trapped here and we couldn't find you in the mirrors. The marks that glow on you are a warning of danger. They will glow on your royal when you are near to signal danger. A guardian is born on the same day as the royal. Our job it to maintain the oceans and keep it in balance. Most of us guardians don't live in the sea as you have seen. Each of us call the land home because those who seek us would look to the sea first. It is a away to protect our people. We are sorry you were left alone without us to each you little sister. The men here are gathering us to start a war between land and sea. Without us to keep balance the anger will grow in the hearts of our people. The men here want us to use our power as they see fit but we want be at full power till you come of age and gain your crystal. However they aren't smart enough to know you can't gain your crystal by age alone. Your crystal has to be earned. " The mermaid said as he just grinned alone with the others.

Piper watched in amazement as Loki pushed away the guards and pulled her to him. Wrapping her arms close, she buried her face into his shoulder wanting comfort. Looking over at the body and relaxed as she watched it turn into something else. It wasn't Ebony. Sighing, she relaxed against Loki, just happy to know that her friend was possibly okay now. As she thought about it now if Ebony had been dead then she would have gone back to being blind. In a way they were always connected. Now she just had to figure out exactly where she was.

She then watched as the prince was carted away by the guards and wondered if he knew anything. Yet a Elderly man was already on his way over to them. Smiling, she realized it was one of the kings advisors who had humored her many questions when she had stayed at the palace. "I am glad to have found someone." she said softly, blushing as she looked up at Loki. She wanted to ask him a few more questions but before she could he had vanished. Frowning, she stood there as she wondered what he meant. Did he mean for her to go out and find Ebony? because she was already planning on that. Nothing would stop her from going after her friend who had done so much for her. She just ahd to figure out where to start looking.

She was deep in thought and it was only when she noticed something shiny on her wrist that she was pulled out of her thoughts. Studying it, she ran her fingers over it as she tried to figure out what it was and a second later she noticed that she ahd changed clothing. Looking down, she studied herself a bit and wondered what was going on. She was about to ask Loki if he had any idea what was going on but he was backing up from her. She feared for a second that something was wrong but ended up laughing as he tripped over something. When he picked up the book, her curiosity got the better of her. Taking it from his hands, she started to page through it and wondered at all the passages and illustrations. She wanted to sit right there and read but she knew she had to figure out a few things first.

Closing the book, she held it close and then looked at Loki, "what is going on?" she muttered as she started talking out loud to herself as she sorted her thoughts, "how am I in this clothing? What is with the book? where is Ebony?" she said and then sighed a little bit before looking at Loki, "do you have any idea?" she asked and hoped that maybe he would. He always seemed to have answers and she personally loved that. "if we have nothing to go on I say we go after Ebony, maybe we can find some answers that way." she said as she fingered the book in her hands and hoped that they would be able to find Ebony soon and have some answers as to why someone would want any of this to happen.

Tallis growled as the guards kept his surrounded till Loki got in the way. Smiling at his friend, he let himself relax till he felt the murderous gaze of the prince on him. Turning, he growled deeply as his eyes turned to slits as he readied himself for the princes attack. Yet amusement filled them as he watched the prince get taken out by his own men. Sighing with relief, he let himself shift back into his full human form and listened to the kings brother. He seemed like a person who had more sense on his shoulders then the prince. Nodding, he hoped that everything would continue with the peace treaty since it meant that he would be able to fully be with Ebony with no problems and he was sure it would mean a lot to others.

When the kings brother came over he wondered what would happen but ended up smirking, "I would never let him have my mate." he said simply, "I have done nothing for him to hate me but if he trys to attack me I will make him regret it." he stated simply and if he found out that the prince had anything to do with Ebony being taken he would march down to the merkingdom and color the ocean red with his blood. IF it wasn't the prince then whoever had taken her he would make them rue the day that they had taken his mate. He would make a legend of how he destroyed them and killed them with every known creature known to man.

When he heard the elder he nodded even though he had no idea what he meant. All he knew was that he wasn't going to ever give up on finding Ebony. Feeling the pin in his hand he pressed it close to his nose as he smelled of Ebony. Closing his eyes, he hoped that she was okay and then turned to Loki and Piper. Yet his jaw dropped as he saw that Piper looked more like a warrior now. walking over to them, he stared at her, "things keep on getting crazier and weirder." he muttered a little bit as he tried to figure out why things kept on happening to them.

Hearing piper then he nodded, "find ebony." he said and then held up the pin for them to see. "I can possibly track her, it may take a while but I have her sent and I should be able to follow it for a while. we just need to start moving so that we don't lose her sent." he said as he hoped that if they started moving things would start to move along. The thought of Ebony not at his side and possibly hurt made him worry more then anything.

Lokie smiled as he stared at Piper. He looked to Tallis as he stared towards the door. "Well you heart the man we better get to looking. " He said as he looked over his shoulder at the others. He wondered why all of this was happening. "Tallis why would these people want you? Of all the wonders in the world what do you have that sets you apart from any other of your own kind? " He said this had honestly been bothering him for a while now. " People don't go to such lengths for any reason. They went as fair to kill one of their own to make it look like a no body to them just to make a point to you. We can assume Ebony is with them. Since your the only one of us who knows about these people where would they put her? We can assume they aren't truly sure of your bond with Ebony. If they knew Ebony would be dead and you would be watching it I have a feeling." He said as he wondered honestly who they where dealing with. He looked around as he noticed Sparks was missing. "We are missing a dragon. Sparks has left your side this long where is Sparks...by the way where is Sliver?" He asked as he found this very odd for any dragon.

Ebony smashed the wall as hard as she could trying to let the others know she was there. Tears streamed from her face as the others gently placed a hand on her shoulder. She looked up as the others felt her pain. The red haired male gently brushed her tears away as he smiled at her. She didn't know what she was suppose to do. She couldn't sit here in this strange place while the people she loved where in trouble. She turned as she looked around there had to be a way out. She looked up as she heard the Hooded figures they seemed furious. She wondered where this place was again and why did these people need all the creators they had here. Her eyes froze as she saw another man who looked like Tallis only he was a bit older his head was saved. The man peered down at her from the glass floor as he noted the mark on her neck.

She wanted to stare at him more fascinated with how much he looked like Tallis. However she turned as she felt her hair being thrown over her mark by the other mermaids. She looked back to the man who seemed just as fascinated however soon she saw one of the hooded figures peer down at her and the others making her shiver. She glared at the man who looked at her with a wicked grin. Without thinking she threw up a wall of water that turned into a large harpoon. To her amazement and horror the harpoon shot through the floor nailing the man in the face. She shook as she heard the man's screaming from the pain. In a mater of moments however he went silent as his body went limp. The other creators all laughed and looked happy as more hooded figures appeared shouting and passing blame.

The man who looked like Tallis shook his head looking disappointed in her. She watched as the man and four others who looked like Tallis attacked the group of hooded men who had decided she was the one to blame. She watched as the group disposed of the bodies then looked to the floor as they whipped up the blood. The one who had been disappointed in her pointed to the hole in the floor as he moved his hand over it. She stared at him as slowly used the water to fill it in as it turned to glass. The group of shifts all smiled at her as the main pointed to her and then to his own neck. She stared in wonder then understood as she moved her hair showing her mark. The other shifters all smiled happily at one another as the man signaled for her to put her hair back. The man put his finger over his lips as they went back to their assigned area.

She stared at the small group in wonder as her eyes landed on the man. He simple gave her a wink that made her smile. His eyes where warm and kind like Tallis. She wondered if this man could be Tallis older brother and if the others here where his kin. She was in wonder when the mermaids pulled her back hiding her behind them in the water as another hooded figure open a panel throwing in food. The man was unkind in his manner and called them unkind names. As soon as he vanished the others let Ebony up. Her eyes shifted up as the one man had looked worried along with two other females from the group that could see her. The three looked relieved seeing her. She looked to the food as the mermaids separated the food amongst themselves . She looked back to the man as he gave her a nod to go. She finally gave him one last look as she went to the edge where the rest of the others where. The red haired male gave her a portion of the food. She smiled at the bread, cheese, and fruits. She slowly ate as she hopped she hadn't go anyone in trouble with her actions.

Tallis sighed when he heard Loki and for once she shrugged, "Im not completely sure on that." he said as he thought back. He had only thought about actually trying to live and survive while he was running from them, he never though about why they were only going after him. He had hated being with them, but why were they so interested in him? what made him different from the others. "maybe we will figure that out once we find Ebony." he said as he looked down at her Pin and knew that he had to find her as quickly as possible.

Sticking the Pin in his pocket he smiled and then let out a whistle. A second later Sparks came flying form the sky and landed on his shoulder, "I had Sparks doing a patrol to see if there were any clues as to here Ebony may have been taken." he said as Sparks then growled and pointed in a direction. "and it seems that we may have something. So who says we start going and stop talking." he said as he was getting tired of just sitting around. He didn't want to know what they were doing to Ebony right now but he was going to stop it even if it cost him his life. Setting off, he sniffed the air with each step and gradually picked up the trail that Sparks had. It was faint but he hoped that it would take them to a clue or better yet, Ebony.

Piper was curious as well and watched Tallis, hoping that he would give a answer. Yet he was just as clueless as they were. Sighing she nodded and could tell that the more they stood around the more it made him anxious. Hopefully Ebony was safe. Though when she heard Loki she smiled, "Silver is here." she said as she held out her arm and a second later she appeared as if out of thin air. "I think when it comes to dragons they each have a trick of there own." she said as she gently petted the dragons head.

Seeing that Tallis was already off she sighed and looked at Loki, gently taking his hand. "Come on, we better go after him to make sure that he doesn't hurt someone or hurt himself." she said as she started to go after Tallis. Part of her just as anxious as Tallis to move and find her friend.

Ebony looked up again after she finished her meal the other hide her among the sea weed near the surface as hooded figures brought in more like Tallis, however none of them looked like the others in the room had. She watched as the men commanded them to make power crystals. She watched as each one of the people tried and failed. She then watched as one of the others like looked like Tallis do so with ease. She watched in horror as they started killing the others who failed till the one who looked like Tallis did as they asked. She then understood in horror what they where doing. They were forcing the ones who had to be family to Tallis to make the crystals, by using the others as motivation. She looked to the baled headed man who eyed her from her hiding place. He looked hurt by all of this.

She jumped up or tried to when the men grabbed he baled headed man and moved him to the middle of the room. They put a large crystal for him to empower. She watched as the others still held her down from her watery viewing pool. There was no way he could none of them could it was the size of a gazing ball. "Enchant it Fool or die along with every person here!" The leader of the group said bitterly at the man. She saw knifes aimed at the throats of the others that looked like Tallis. She watched as the man tried but he was failing. He tried so hard blood was falling from his nose. She focused on the large orb like crystal as she began to chant herself. The orb lit up the room as it glowed filled with power. The hooded man just laughed and let the other live for now. They took the orb as they let the others live taking the others out with them.

The other mermaids let go of her all staring at her in fear and wonder. Her eyes however never left the bald headed man who was on the floor still. She rose from the water as she moved just under him. The others who looked like Tallis family all gathered around the man worried for him. They all looked to Ebony as her eyes glowed white still. She began to chant again as a black aura appeared around the man. When it faded he was healed. She smiled as the man peered down at her. He was full of thanks and astonishment. She didn't under stand why. Tallis could have did what the leader wanted. But it was obvious that none of the others here could. She knew that the man here and his family were the only ones that could come close. She watched each one hug one another as they all looked to her in wonder. She felt different again as the mermaids did the same. She jumped as she heard movement below just outside of her own cell.

She felt her anger rise as a hooded figure appear in front of her cell. The other mermaids all stood their ground along wit her. They all glared at the man. "Wretched mermaids. " The man said as he turned and vanished being called by another. She looked up as she saw the worry from the family above. She smiled softly at them hoping they would understand the mermaids were safe for now. She was pulled alone with the other mermaids below the water to a hidden cave. The rose up to a air bubble on the inside as there she saw their home. There were trinkets and different treasures. She then saw the rocks. She closed her eyes as she shifted into her human form and climbed the rocks higher and higher till she found the cliff that was the highest. She saw moss and smiled as laid on the moss covered rock and fell asleep tired from the magic she had used. She felt safe here or as safe as she could be. The other mermaids let her be as they went to their own places.


Loki stared at the other two as he shook his head. He honestly didn't know what he was going to do with these two. "Oh yea, lets go after hooded figures with immense power. This sounds like death written all over it. No one here wants to go see if we have anything that could help us in the library or think about how these people just pop in and out of thin air? " He said as he let out a sigh knowing he was only talking to himself by now. He shook his head as he looked to the king. "I'm going." He said as he followed Tallis and Piper. He couldn't believe this was how he was going to die. That was the only thing that could happen to them with this foe. They weren't prepared for fighting a foe like this. Though it was rather funny that he was the only one who saw this. The other two seemed blinded by hope or whatever it was they were blinded by. A tank, a Mage, and a Mermaid though in all honesty he wasn't sure what Piper was at the point. This just didn't sound like a winning combination to him. This sounded like a bad screen play and their ended wouldn't be kind he feared.

As they moved Tallis continue to follow the sent and gradually just started shifting till he was a large wolf. HIs nose was stuck to the ground as he followed the set till it came to the edge of the ocean. Standing there he growled as he paced a bit, trying to think of something that could help them. Sitting down, he tried to think back to how he managed to escape. It had been a long time ago and he defiantly didn't want to remember. But why was it so painful? what else happened there besides being tortured to do what he didn't' want too. Growling to himself he shifted back into his human form and looked at the others. "I need time to think. If I remember how I escaped then I should be able to remember how to get back in." he said before turning to the ocean.

Clsoing his eyes, he then let out a breath as he slowly concentrated. The markings on his body slowly seemed to glow as he drew back into his mind. he remembered that it wasn't always so bad when he was with them. There had been people around him, his people. He remembered his parents and his brother. They had been together through everything, being captured, chained and everything. But when his parents had figured out that he could enchant just about anything they knew he couldn't' stay. He remembered them talking hurriedly as the robed men came towards them. When they got a promising man to enchant they threatened to kill everyone if he didn't continue. The man refused and that was when the chaos broke out. As they killed his people, his father pushed him out an escape that was small enough for him to get through if she shifted into a snake. The other races had helped but no one else came out after him.

Once he got out he realized that there prison just seemed like a rock in the middle of the ocean. He thought about going back to help the others but when he turned back he heard screaming. It was the screamed of people die horribly and being tortured. He then saw something come rushing towards him and realized that someone had found him. Throwing a fire ball at him, they tried to kill him or capture him, he wasn't too sure but a second later he was floating int he ocean hurting pretty badly. He had stayed like that till he washed up on shore and Loki found him. He guessed it was too much for his mind to take and knew it might not be better to remember, so he didn't' remember. Now remembering was the key.

Piper chuckled when she heard Loki, "we can figure that out as we go but we don't know what they will do if we don't start moving. For all we know they could be hurting her or something." she said as she thought about Ebony. Running her fingers over the book in her arms she hoped to god that everything would be okay. She didn't' want anything to happened to her best friend.

As they got to the Ocean Piper was about to jump in and start swimming when she heard Tallis. Watching as he sat down she looked over at Loki, "I guess we get a strategy meeting now." she said as she sat down on the beach and then looked down at the book. "and also time to check out book time." she said as she motioned for Loki to join her. He might be just as curious about the book as she was. Opening it she started to go through the pages as she slowly started to figure out things. She started to figure out exactly what it meant to be a guardian and why they were important. They were the guardians of the 7 seas and if they were together with enough power they could do anything. They could make a new land or cause the end of the world.

Frowning she looked over at Loki, "what do you think we should do?" she asked as she looked back towards the page, "we don't know anything about them but we do know they have Ebony. Ebony is a guardian and it appears she is a big part of this. Now then, do they have the rest of the guardians or do they need more? Are they using Talli's and his people to power everything?" she asked as she tried to think of questions that they needed to answer. "more importantly, what are there strengths and weaknesses? who are they exactly? and how many of them are there?" she asked as she stroked Silvers head and wondered if she would be able to answer those questions anytime soon. She hoped she could she wanted to be more useful to these two. But what could a girl who use to be ling do? all she could do was question. Sighing, she looked towards the ocean and just wished that it could tell her the answers since all of them seemed to lie in it.

Loki felt even more discouraged as he heard them both. He took a seat besides Piper as she open the book. "Great now we can add powerful mermaids that can destroy us all to the list. " He said being a pain more than anything. As he stopped and looked at Tallis he knew this was serious, and he wished honestly he knew how to help his friend. He went quiet as he tried to think. "Tallis if you have anything of hers I could use a locator spell." He said after a while hoping not to make Tallis mad that he hadn't said it to begin with. "So we shifters with untold power, and the seven mermaids. Though Ebony is different from the others. Do they really need the others with her around. " He said being honest as he thought about what he had saw from her. " The book said the each guardian was tied a Royal ruler that was to take the thrown of that sea. Ebony doesn't have her guardian crystal yet to match her Royal heir. She is useless to them without it. In the pictures each guardian has one of their own color on their fore head. Ebony only has the blue crystals on her body she doesn't have one yet on her forehead. I'm going out on a hunch here but I think your the heir. " He said as he pulled out the book showing a Royal registry with pictures beside each one. There was Piper and her parents.

The current King had been a adviser. " It looks like your real parents had died and you were to young to take the thrown. So the Adviser took over. You where at the heart of the ocean when your parents died with them. " He said as he saw the pages come to life and show the story. He saw baby Piper and her parents as they tried along with the other royals of the seven seas to fight strange hooded beings. There were seven orbs that matched each royals crystal in color. Before the hooded figure could do anything a small baby mermaid appeared as markings glowed around it from the orbs. Each orb adsorbing into the small mermaid. A bright light came from the child as a massive amount of energy was unleashed from it destroying the hooded figure as well as the temple that had been there. Only the small child was left she was different from all the others around her her scales were black and purple. The families rejoiced happy to finally have a guardian of the ocean. The small child waited as Piper's parents brought Piper before her. The child smiled as she reached out and touched Piper giving her a crown and a Royal birth mark. It was a pact to protect piper and to always use her powers to help Piper to achieve her goal.

The pages flipped at it showed the hooded figures appearing again this time in larger numbers. The child with all it's immense power could not save every mermaid that was there. It had managed to save all the royals but Pipers parents only managing to save her at the coast of it's own safety. The other guardians stared at the pair in horror once everything had calmed down. They all stared at the temple that rebuilt it's self around the two sleeping children. Strange markings appearing on every stone as the pair laid beside one another. "A queen to rule them all and a Guardian to save them all." Appeared over the two girls in the book. The pages started to move again on their own as it showed Ebony. " One Guardian with the power of seven, the one guardian with a heart of gold. One Guardian to rule all Guardians. The heart of the Ocean rest in her. The heart of the Ocean belongs to her Queen." The book flashed beside ebony's picture the next moment it showed Piper and started with the words again. "The Queen of the Ocean fair and true. Seven crowns all bow before her one. No man nor beast shall harm her or suffer the wrath of the heart of the Ocean. The true Queen will unite all oceans under her rule and bring peace to both land and Sea. With her kindness and knowledge her reign will bring peace and happiness. Only the Queen can summon the heart of the Ocean. Only the Queen will the heart of the Ocean respect. Woe to any beast or man that disturbs the balance of the Queen and heart of the Ocean. Great sorrow will the heart of the Ocean bring to any that harms the Queen. For no man nor beast has seen the true power of the Ocean. Harm one hair on the Queens head and you will see the power of seven an then some. " The book went berserk as it leaped from Loki's lap and exploded over the water sending papers out everywhere.

He just sat there not sure what to say as he tried to understand what just happen. He finally spoke as he glared at the shredded pages about he place. "OH, So I'm the only one that things decide to go crazy with? First the bracelet and now this. Why dose everything I touch seem to become enchanted? " He said annoyed with how the book acted. He looked up as he watched some of the pieces start to form a page again. "That was a tutorial question!!!" He yelled at the page not honestly wanting a response at the moment, however it didn't appear the page cared. He watched as the page showed the mountains where he had been found. "Really? You apparently are some magical book all of a sudden and all you have to show me is the mountains? " He said as the page just laid there with the mountains on it."You will give us some crazy spill about mermaid lore and for me I get just a picture of the mountain. " He said rather miffed at the page.

" So Piper is a great ruler that I believe. And Ebony is some freaky mermaid that somehow has the power of all seven guardians plus her own, witch makes her a force of nature. The only person Ebony is bound to lessen to is Piper. The only person that can summon Ebony is Piper.....So we have the scariest power right here with us already. Apparently the hooded figures aren't to bright if they took Ebony without Piper. It says or it said you can't have one without the others and to force Ebony to use her power, Witch lets remember is scarily enough stronger than any other guardians on it's own. And they forgot the key to even using it. I'm going to just guess that they already know Piper is the key and that Ebony is not someone they want to anger. Witch means Piper will be the next target. However why would the poison them? Where does that come into play and where does that put Tallis?" He said as he felt better talking out loud his understanding of everything. "What are they going to do that needs the most scariest power in the ocean and the most powerful shifter? Where they testing to see if Tallis was around? Why the poison though? Why did Ebony get the freaky marks then Piper after wards. Maybe that was their goal to find the pair. Maybe the freaky marks was what they where after all along, not just Tallis. Maybe that is why they didn't hesitate to use poison they know Tallis could cure the easily. How long have they been watching. They had to have been to know that Piper and Ebony would come together and they put the items for those two. So why was this arranged. Was Ebony sent here on purpose to find Piper and they knew Tallis would take her in because of her lack of memory? This is so mind bottling. I think I'm going to explode with all these question. What about the magical book? Why can't it show me anything but the mountain?" He ranted as he was pacing by this point. His mind was running a mile a minuet as he tried to make sense of everything.

Piper frowned when she heard Loki and placed a hand on his arm. "I know things don't make a lot of sense now but I am sure things will start to once we start looking for answers. Right now the answers seem to lie wherever Ebony is so what we have to do is figure out exactly where they are. Once we figure that out we can figure out a better course of action." she said as she looked up at him and hoped that he would calm down. Gently she took his hand into hers and squeezed it gently.

"Im not sure if I am a princess or not, but right now I don't think that should matter. What matters now is seeing if we can find Ebony and the answers we are looking for. But I am sure on the way we will get some answers." she said as she gently squeezed his hand trying to get him to calm down even though inside she was a mess. She was a PRINCESSS?!?!?!?! why did no one ever tell her? how long have they known? was that why the king right now was so nice to her? She wanted to know so much more. It actually scared her to know that she was a princess, she had been blind and knew nothing. Could she even run a county or her people.

She knew her hand was shaking slightly but she took a deep breath and looked at Loki, "come on, we better get moving." she said as she looked at Tallis, "You had Something of Ebonys right? if you do give it to Loki so that we can get going." she said as she hoped that if she focused on trying to find Ebony her nervousness and her thoughts on being a princess would go away. She didn't like the idea of actually having power, she didn't like it at all. She just wanted to live a normal life and be with her friends.

Hearing Loki rant he had to admit that all of this sounded very crazy, almost as if they shouldn't' do it. But if shey didn't what would they do if they didn't? No one else was going to go after Ebony or try to stop the figures, they would just continue doing what they did and he knew he would never have a normal life thanks to them. When he heard piper he nodded as he stood up and walked over to them. "I agree, we move forward before we lose momentum we will get answer soon and then everything will make sense." he at least hoped it would.

Heard her he nodded and pulled out her pin and held it out to Loki, "here, Please treat it carefully." he said and hoped that they would be able to locate her soon.

Loki tried to calm down as he noticed Piper. She was putting on a good front but she looked as if she had as many questions as he did. He kept quiet as he looked to Tallis. He gently took the pin noticing Tallis didn't really want to let it go. "I want damage it I promise. We'll find her and she'll be safe." He said hoping he was correct. He was sure they would find her someone wanted them to he had the feeling. However her condition he wasn't sure of. Loki stared at the Pin he waved his hand over it as he started to chant. Before he cold complete the chant they appeared in a strange place. The Pin glowed and Lokie knew that had been a trap someone was expecting this. He looked to the others, "I didn't finish the spell. This was a trap. I'd say we are here wherever hear it." He said handing the pin back to Tallis. He was powerful but not this kind of powerful. He looked around at the strange place. Something was off about the place. He noticed that most of the rooms that had housed some were empty. Only a few creators were left in their cells.

Tallis watched as Loki took the pin and kept his eyes on him at all times. It wasn't that he didn't' trust his friend, it was the fact that he wasn't sure what they would find. Those figures weren't good people and he feared that once they found Ebony it may be too late. If that was true then that pin might be the last thing he had of Ebony's. The thought made his heart hurt and rage fill him. If they had hurt her in any way he would destroy ten to make sure that they could never do something like this to anyone ever again.

The next thing he knew they were in a different building, a building all to familiar to himself. He had spent his childhood here and he hated every minute of it. He couldn't' even remember a time he had been out of this place till he managed to escape. Now he was back to where it all began. Seeing the cells again he growled before turning to Loki and Piper. "follow me this way, they are probably holding her at the ocean cells down on the bottom floor. Hopfully they don't know that we are here yet." he said as he slowly let his hands turn to claws, ready for anyone to try to stop them from going to rescue Ebony.

When piper got a look at where they were at she instantly moved closer to Loki. This placed felt evil, like it shouldn't be here. Gently she took ahold of Lokis hand and was glad that Tallis had managed to escape from here. This place was evil and even made her sick as she looked around at all the creatures in there cells. "lets find Ebony and get out of here quickly." she muttered as she moved to follow Tallis down the hall but refused to let go of Loki.

Loki held onto Pipers hand as he looked around the strange place. " I'm with you Piper lets get out of this place." He said as he looked at the different cells as they moved following Tallis. He looked around as he felt something was off. "Am I the only one who feels this is a trap? " He finally asked after noticing the further they went the more empty cells there were. Everything was quiet too quiet he held out his hand to one of the cells as he felt the cool crystal like wall of it. He looked up as he saw the glass floor above the ocean cell. "Tallis.....who..." He said as he saw the others who looked like Tallis in the room. He stared at the figures who shook their head looking frantic seeing the group. "Tallis....I think we should stop. " He said as he watched the others starting to pound on the glass floor trying to get their attention. His eyes widen as he saw the group of Hooded figures appear around them the leader appeared in front of them. "Never mind." He said as he gathered from the reactions the others in the room with the glass floor this was, what they had been trying to warn them about. However he didn't see Ebony, though as soon as he thought it the leader laughed.

Loki felt his anger grown as he pulled piper to him holder her with one arm at her waist against him as he summoned the element of fire as he entire right arm was engulfed with fire. He looked around as he turned quickly shooting a stream of fire at the hooded figures as they screamed from pain. He looked at the one who held a strange glowing orbs. "I don't like the look in your eye." He said to the one man who with the glowing orb. He jumped as he saw two more glowing orbs appear. He glared at the man who eyes him. The man threw the orb and Loki sent out a fire blast. The orb went back and open engulfing the man as the man screamed banging on the large glowing orb, that now imprisoned him. "How about a large dragon form Tallis it would really help us right now . Stay away from the orbs. " He said hoping Tallis could just over power the group and they could all leave.

"Ebony?" He said as he saw a Pink haired version of Ebony appear from behind the leader of the group. Her eyes were the same as Ebony but everything else about her was different. She walked with confidence, power, grace, and had a commanding air about her. She looked and acted like everything the Ebony they knew wasn't. However between the two she was the prettier.


Lunna appeared before the others as she felt angered. She focused her eyes on Tallis as she felt her temper start to rise. "You fell for her ? You forgot me so quickly? They were right you are weak you should be executed only the weak survive. " She said bitterly just glaring at Tallis. Her eyes then cut to Piper as a wicked grin appeared on her face. "Oh my, it's the Princess. Looks like you fell for our trap too. Foolish girl and you don't have the powers to save your friends." She said as she laughed holding her hand out as the crown and bracelet from Piper appeared on Lunna. She just laughed as the crystals in each glowed with power. "Foolish girl like you would be a princess. Well you were once but I took care of that for you. Thank you for giving me what is rightfully mine. " She said as she looked to the elder. She held out her hand as water rushed in making a prison around the others. It made a globe around them as Lunna looked the leader. "Oh sorry air holes right." She said as she made small holes for them to use for air.
