Shiva flinched a little as she listened and shook her head. "I don't think any of them have shields to keep their powers from hurting you master... if you got that close...." she trailed off with a bit of a whimper

"If I have to be hurt to get us both out of here, then I will get hurt over and over again until we can finally get out." Rurik said seriously and sat up carefully.

Back at the castle, Irsa was looking around for Rurik and Shiva but frowned when she didn't find them. "Love, have you seen Rurik or Shiva?" she asked Atros who was looking over a few things. "No I have not. Last I remember, he and Shiva had left for a walk. I'm sure they'll be back before dinner." he answered. "What if they don't?" Irsa asked. "If they are not back by dinner, I'll have guards go out to look for them. So don't worry so much love. Besides, we know Shiva will protect him." Atros explained.

"B-but can't angels kill vampires just by bringing out their wings without shields?" Shiva asked worriedly then looked up as her ears twitched and she could hear someone coming, heavy foot steps... probably more then just one set of them from what she could tell.

"I have no idea. But I don't want to find out." Rurik said and fell silent when he heard footsteps approaching. He looked at Shiva and motioned for her to be absolutely quiet. The last thing they needed was to upset the guards.

"Oh look, you're both awake.... and you're not dead yet... I'm shocked, oh well. Now then my name is Sain, I am the top general of the angelic army and because I am so kind, if you two would just tell me everything I would like to know I will let you go... if not, well you'll be here for awhile..." Sain smirked darkly and Shiva had to hold back a a slight his as she moved closer to Rurik not wanting to let him get hurt in the least.

"First of all, I didn't ask to know who you are because frankly I do not care." Rurik started and crossed his arms across his chest. "What is it you want to know though. I can't promise you that I will answer your questions, but I can promise you that I will try." he explained easily.

"Well now that attitude may change if we have a problem, but as for the questions, simply put, we want to know about your military and your kingdoms strengths and weaknesses" The male explained then grinned a little as he heard Shiva still hissing a little

"Shiva be quiet!" Rurik hissed and sighed as he looked at the male. "Our military is prepared for any battle you decide to throw at it. That is really all you need to know. Our strengths and weaknesses should be obvious don't you think?" he said and placed a hand on Shiva's shoulder in hopes of calming her down.

Shiva's ear pulled back as she looked up to Rurik worriedly before hearing the male scoff. "Is that really all?" The male said and rolled his eyes before turning and starting to leave glancing at one of his men. "see if they're holding anything back... but don't kill them" he instructed quietly before leaving. The men turned to the two and Shiva hissed some moving in front of Rurik protectively. "No! You can do what you want to me but I will not allow you to harm my master!" She hissed protectively

"Shiva will you please behave?! Yelling at them isn't going to help." Rurik warned and shook his head. The guards smirked and easily pulled Shiva away from Rurik and chained her hands togeher before yanking her off toward another cell. "Hey! What are you doing?! That's my personal servant and feeding source! Give her back!" Rurik demanded but the guards didn't listen. They threw her into a cell while another guard closed the cell door and looked at Rurik. "They won't hurt her. Now start talking, what are you keeping from us?" the guard asked.

Shiva felt worried as she was grabbed but once she was in the cell far enough from Rurik that he couldn't hear her she gave just enough info that they promised not to harm Rurik but then just left her in there going to report to the general. Shiva sighed a little in relief and laid her head back against the wall. If this worked they might be saved within a matter of days.... if not.... well she hoped they would only kill her.

Days passed and a message was sent to Atros stating that the angels had Rurik and Shiva and that if he didn't give up his thrown that they would both be tortured to death even though the angels had no plans on doing such things, just wanted to get the king to comply. Shiva continued to feed the group 'vampire secrets' as she put it in order to protect Rurik but slowly she was growing weaker and weaker and her emotions were slowly dropping lower and lower making her want to do nothing but sleep since she didn't even feel like she had enough emotions in her to cry at this point. The angels noticed that Rurik was starting to change a bit so they decided after about a weak or so to lock down the area so that the only place he could go was Shiva's cell and one guard was sent to get him down there. "Alright princy, you better be grateful the general says that it's time for your meal, she's right down there." he said opening the cell door knowing that he wouldn't have the strength to fight and wouldn't dare bite an angel that he knew had holy water with him

When Atros read the message, he gathered up the family and soilders and explained to them the situation. "I am not just going to give up, but I am going to bring those two back. If it is a war the angels want, then it is a war they will get." Atros said and hoped that they were both still okay. "Men, start preparing yourselves because we leave right away!" he ordered. "Oh dear, my poor baby boy has been taken by the enemy! What if they already killed him?!" cried Irsa. "Love they aren't going to kill him or Shiva right away. We will bring them back." he promised and left to get ready. Jamil frowned when he heard this but continued to care for Sylph. "My young lord will return my friend. I am sure of it." Jamil said reassuringly as he pet the Gryphon.

Rurik weakly stood up as the cell door opened. He only glared at the guard and walked out towards Shiva's room. He would have ran but he was much too weak even for that. When he reached her cell, Rurik stared at Shiva and walked over to her. She looked very fragile and he was afraid he would kill her but he had to feed, he was desperate for blood. Rurik took Shiva into his arms and sank his teeth into her neck and knew it would hurt her but that didn't stop him from beginning to feed off of her, savoring the taste and smell of her blood.

Syrma sobbed at the news and was so distressed that she couldn't even make it up to the rooms and just sat in one of the chairs near the stairs with her face buried in her hands fearing that her best friend and her new friend would be killed.

Shiva cried out a little as she was bitten and was woken up by that feeling and feeling Rurik close to her again. She opened her eyes with a whimper and look at Rurik ever so slightly but looked very weak and like there wasn't any emotions in her eyes at all.

Hearing someone crying, Jamil went to check who it was with Sylph following and frowned when he saw Syrma. "Miss Syrma, I know you miss Shiva and my young lord, but my lord is going to bring them back right away." Jamil said, hoping he could cheer her up. He himself missed them both but he had to remain positive. Syrma wasn't the only one in tears, Irsa was also crying at the thought of never seeing her little boy again. Atros did his best to cheer her up but soon rode off with the others towards the angelic kingdom.

Rurik licked up every last drop of Shiva's blood as he pulled away and looked at her before just holding her close to him. He wasn't going to allow Shiva to be taken from him again.

Syrma looked up at Jamil with tears still in her eyes "I-I'm just... so worried... and scared... what if they don't come back? What if I never see my best friend and new friend ever again?" she whimpered worriedly, her and Rurik had spent some time together and she did consider him a new friend, she liked him and being around him.

Shiva whimpered a little as she looked up at Rurik but her eyes looked even more tired then before but now there was actual tears and sadness in them and she managed to curl one of her hands gently in his shirt but them whimpered even more as she heard the guard coming. "Come on it looks like you're done, back to your cell" the male ordered ready to drag Rurik out if he objected. "N-no... M-m-master... p-please... don't... g-go." she whimpered in a very small and very weak voice starting to fade in and out of consciousness.

"Miss Syrma, I assure you that you will see them again. My lord just set out to return them home, and I know that he will not rest until he brings them both back here alive." Jamil replied and gently pat her shoulder. "We must remain strong and have a positive mindset. I am sure Shiva and my young lord would not like to see you cry." he added.

Rurik cradled her in his arms and looked over at the guard. "What if I refuse?" he asked calmly. "I will not leave her alone! Shiva needs my attention at all times, you have no right to take her from me! She is mine!" Rurik exclaimed and continued to hold Shiva closely in his arms. "She is mine, and I will not let you or anyone else take her away from me." he warned.

Syrma tried to calm herself as much as she could and wiped her eyes before nodding "Thank you Jamil, I can see why Shiva values your friendship." She smiled softly

"Yeah right whatever, get up or you'll both be in deep trouble." The guard spat yanking Rurik up by the collar of his shirt not caring if this would cause Shiva to hit the ground or not. Luckily Shiva had fed the angels false info that would actually make it allot easier for the vampires to win

"Well I do my best to keep everyone happy here." Jamil started and pet Sylph some more. "I think I'll make some relaxing tea for the queen. Would you like some as well miss Syrma? It will help you relax, and maybe we can talk more?" he suggested.

Rurik didn't let Shiva go and tried to shake the guard's hand off his collar. "Hey! Get your grimmy hand off the silk! Let me go!" Rurik hissed. He had an idea on how to get away from the guard's grasp, but that would only work if he let go of Shiva for a bit. That, and he didn't think it would be appropriate to do especially since Shiva was there.

"Yes please, thank you Jamil" Syrma smiled a little grateful for his kindness.

"Come on you royal brat let her go and get back to your cell or else." The guard said using his other hand to grip Rurik's arm tightly and tried to make him let go.

"It will be my pleasure. Sylph here will keep you company." Jamil said as he excused himself and left to make the tea. Sylph approached Syrma and cooed sadly, obviously missing Rurik.

Rurik let Shiva go carefully and used his free arm to unbutton his silk shirt and struggled to pull his free arm out of the sleeve, then struggled to pull his other arm free of the guard's grasp. "I am not a brat but if you call me that again I will behave as such!" Rurik hissed angrily as he continued to pull his arm, trying to get it out of the male's high hold.

Syrma smiled a little at Sylph before petting him softly and gently scratching his wings and chest knowing he liked that. "I think we can both trust Jamil right?" She offered softly as she loved on her friend easily.

Shiva whimpered as she was put down but then just went silent again and the male huffed before quickly grabbing ahold of Rurik harshly and drug him out of the cell shutting the door before he could get back in. "I think you're in no position to resist, or did you forget?" he asked as he let just a bit of his powers out, just enough to weaken Rurik so he couldn't fight as much

Jamil made himself some tea as well, and even some for Meleanie. He then went along and handed out the cups of tea to each of them. "My ladies, I took this opportunity to make you each some relaxing herb tea. I know this is no easy time, by I hope my tea helps in some way." he said softly. Irsa sniffled and dried her tears before accepting the tea. "Thank you kindly Jamil. You always know how to keep the people happy." Irsa said softly as she took a small drink of the warm tea. "It is my pleasure." Jamil said and bowed before walking over to Syrma and handed her the tea. "Here you are miss Syrma." He said softly.

Rurik tried to break free of the man's hold but failed. "Shiva! Give her back!" he cried out and winced when the guard used some of his power to weaken him. "Give her back..." Rurik said quietly.

"Thank you Jamil" Mel said as she sat by her mother trying to comfort her as well as calm herself. "yes thank you so much" Syrma said softly as she took the cup and started to drink a bit.

"yeah yeah struggle all you want." the male said before tossing Rurik in her cell and locked him in before going back to make sure that Shiva was locked in as well and noticed she didn't look so pale now.

Jamil sat down on the floor and sipped at his tea. He really did hope that both Shiva and Rurik were okay, and hoped the king would be okay too.

Rurik cried out in pain as he fell onto the hard floor once the guard tossed him back into his cell. He lay there for a while and looked at the mark on his chest that the arrow had left and frowned. "Shiva...we'll get out of here, I promise." Rurik whispered to himself.

The next day Sain came in and smirked at Rurik seeing that he looked better then before. "Well I bet you're glad that we've continued to give the two of you food and actually let you feed, now maybe you'll be a bit more willing to talk hm?" he smirked a bit. "Or since it seems you have an attachment to what you call your slave I could just have her brought over here and see how many bones need to be broken before you break." he smirked rather darkly.
