"Why didn't you let me kill him?" Irsa asked, narrowing her eyes as she looked at her husband. Atros only chuckled and kissed her before brushing some hair from her face. "Well, because I didn't think killing the poor man would solve anything. Besides, I'm sure he's terrified and won't be making the same mistake again." Atros explained. Irsa smirked and waved a hand. "Possibly, but what if he does?" she asked. "Then you can kill him dear." Atros assured and watched as the servants started to serve the breakfast. "Send someone out to inform the young lord that breakfast is being served." he ordered a servant and pulled out the chair for Irsa to sit in.

"My lord, breakfast is being served." a servant said before walking back inside. "Come along Sylph." Rurik said and picked up Sylph before walking inside and handing his empty wine glass to the servant. "Sylph did you want to continue playing outside?" he asked his Gryphon quietly and smirked when Sylph wagged its tail. "Alright, but I'll bring you back inside soon." Rurik said and set his Gryphon down outside to let it roll around and left back inside to sit and eat his breakfast.

Jamil had heard about the whole incident and frowned but there was nothing he could do, all he could to was watch and help her if she needed it. "I'm sorry about what happened." he said quietly as he cleaned a vase.

"I... just don't really understand... Master didn't say anything about me not being aloud to eat... and yet he got so mad at me... w-what can I do to make him okay with me again?" Shiva asked worriedly but still sounded rather weak and tired. In any case she wouldn't continue to work until she couldn't anymore.

"You're his servant Shiva, so you're supposed to do what he says. Being the personal servant is an honor but it's also a tough job." Jamil started and shrugged. "I'm not sure. Just do what he says and sooner or later he'll be okay again. He may not look it, but the young lord is actually very kind. It's just hard to get on his good side. I'm still not sure if I'm on his good side after all these years, but I do my best to be." Jamil explained and continued to help Shiva. "Maybe you could make him something, I'm not sure." he suggested.

"I-I know... and I will fallow every single order he gives me... I just don't know why he got mad when I got breakfast... he never told me that I wasn't aloud to eat." Shiva explained softly as she continued to clean then thought some. "What does he like?" she asked curiously

"Shiva, he is your master. So unless he tells you that you can eat, you really shouldn't be eating." Jamil started and chuckled. "Don't worry you'll learn eventually, trust me. I learned throughout the years that I've been here." he said and thought for a bit. "I have no idea what the young lord likes. That is up to you to find out. Obeying his commands and being kind to him would be a good start though." Jamil explained and shrugged.

"Of course... he's my master I couldn't imagine doing anything less." Shiva said softly before moving onto the next thing she needed to clean.

"I would say make him breakfast or dinner yourself, that could work too." Jamil suggested with a grin. "The young lord is used to getting attention so that could work in your favor." he explained and continued to clean around in silence.

When breakfast was over, Irsa looked at Rurik and frowned slightly. "Are you alright dear?" she asked softly. Irsa didn't like seeing her son upset, it always wore him out whenever he got too angry about something. "Yes, I've calmed myself down a bit. I over reacted...was too hard on her." he said quietly and frowned. "That's not true, you reacted the same way any of us would son, I will say though that you were a bit too loud. Woke us up really." Atros explained and chuckled. "I'm sorry, that wasn't my intention." Rurik replied. "Don't be, we all would have been loud too." Atros assured before excusing himself and heading to his study.

Irsa finished her drink and smiled. "She'll learn Rurik, just give her some time okay? Don't kill her so soon." she assured and left to her room where she started to sort her jewelry. Rurik nodded and let out a soft sigh as he stood up and headed outside to see little Sylph run back inside the castle. "Had enough huh? Off to bed with you then. Well...take a nap at least." Rurik said and carried Sylph back up to his room where he set him down on the bed then headed back outside to relax.

"Hm thank you Jamil." Shiva smiled easily then helped clean up after breakfast and went about the rest of the morning working but by lunch she was growing weary and tired. "Master lunch is ready" Shiva said softly trying to keep the tiredness out of her voice, she had been working since she finished eating breakfast without a break, and she was feeling pretty tired by now but knew she still had several hours of cleaning left before she could rest.

"I'll be right in Shiva." Rurik started and frowned slightly. "I uh...I need to talk to you later today okay?" he said softly as he stood up and walked inside. His parents arrived soon enough for lunch and the three of them enjoyed their lunch, talking about things they wished to do. Rurik was silent and just listened to his parents talk about a possible war with the angels. Rurik was surprised to hear this since he thought that there was some sort of peace treaty signed already, but he was obviously wrong. "Well it's no matter. They don't seem to be doing anything suspicious at the moment, so maybe we have nothing to worry about." Irsa commented.

"Yes master... until then I'll be sure to continue my work" Shiva said softly with a bow then left to get back to work wondering a bit what the prince wanted and hoped she wasn't in trouble again... she hoped slightly that he would allow her to sit while he spoke to her though.... she was starting to feel sore.

"We can defeat the angels easily though can't we?" Rurik asked. "Believe it or not, the angels are not to be taken lightly. They can be powerful when they want to be." Atros replied and shook his head. "You're mother is right though. as long as they don't make any kind of move then we have nothing to actually worry about." he said. "And if they do make a move?" asked Rurik. "Then we'll make sure to stop them as fast as we can dear. We're not going to let some...angels push us around. No sir." Irsa said in a serious tone of voice. Rurik wasn't sure why angels would even want to invade them, but for now that wasn't important he supposed. When lunch was over, Rurik excused himself and went to look for Shiva. His parents went off to the study and locked the door behind them. "When should we tell him about his sister Atros?" Irsa asked quietly.

Shiva continued to work and had to keep moving to make sure she didn't start to get tired or move too slow. Before too awful long she heard that Rurik seemed to be looking for something so she made her way over to where he was and bowed a little. "do you need something master?" she asked softly

"I don't know Irsa, I don't even know how to break it to him. You do understand that this will upset Rurik right?" he pointed out. "Y-yes I know, but we can't keep this a secret any longer. Rurik needs to know that he has an older sister." Irsa explained. "I know, he's just not going to take it well is all. Have you even heard from her?" Rurik asked. Irsa frowned, "No I haven't actually. I'm starting to think she's probably dead." she whispered. "She's not dead Irsa, if she was we would have heard something by now." Atros replied and sighed softly as they both tried to think of a good time to break the news to their son.

Rurik looked at Shiva and motioned for her to follow him. "Yes, come with me Shiva." he said and started to walk off towards his bedroom. Making sure she followed him inside, Rurik closed and locked the door behind them and sighed softly. "So before I say what I need to say, I want to ask you this, How are you holding up? You're still working?" he asked.

Shiva nodded and fallowed Rurik before nodding a bit "Y-yes master... I'm okay" she said softly but was honestly weak and tired but knew she was not supposed to show that and was supposed to always be happy and ready to work no matter what.

"Why are you lying Shiva?" he asked and narrowed his eyes. "Sit down, I can tell you are having a hard time standing." Rurik pointed out and sighed. "Shiva, no one should work past their own limits. If you can't clean while standing, then sit and clean. If cleaning is something you can't do, then I'll have you do other things around the house, like help with the food." He said softly.

"I-I'm not lying... I am okay" Shiva said softly before sitting. "Thank you... a-and I can work... whatever you need me to do." She said softly but was be honest, a little bit of weakness and pain wasn't going to stop her. She wondered a bit what he had called her in for but didn't really mind, he was letting her sit and relax right now so that's all that matters really right?

"You're okay?" Rurik started and raised an eyebrow. "Then why are you sitting down?" he asked and smirked. "You sit down if you're tired, so you're obviously tired therefore, you're not okay. So then you did lie." he said and chuckled. "Caught you." he said and gently pet her. "Look Shiva. The reason I called you in here is because I wanted to apologize. I know I over reacted and I am sorry. I honestly did not mean to yell at you the way I did, I'm surprised you didn't cry." he explained and continued to pet her. "It wasn't fair to you having me yell at you when you're obviously feeling terrible after being bitten, and it wasn't until now that I realized it." he said softly.

Shiva was surprised at this and looked a little worried but then closed her eyes a bit and started to purr a little as he started to pet her and it was clear that she just loved the feeling. "N-no... I-I should have asked first." she said opening her eyes again to look at him but her ears and tail were starting to show from how good it felt for him to be petting her.

"Yes true, you should have asked. You actually should have told me how you felt. If you're too weak from the bit then maybe you shouldn't work until you feel better." he explained and sighed softly, pulling his hand away. "While you recover, I guess we'll be spending time together huh?" he pointed out. "I mean, you live with attention which I find odd really." he muttered.

Rurik wasn't so sure that Shiva was alright, but he wasn't going to keep her from doing her job if she really wanted to keep working. "Very well then, if you say so." he said and easily dismissed Shiva. "Alright then, back to work with you Shiva. This was a nice chat I'll admit. Do not get too used to them though. Now then if you'll excuse me, I think Sylph and I are going to enjoy some time outside." Rurik said and carefully picked up Sylph in his arms and headed downstairs then walked outside where he let Sylph run around while he relaxed under a tree.

"Well how are we going to tell him? What are we going to say when he asks why we have kept it a secret from him all these years." Irsa asked. "She left on her own, we had nothing to do with it. She wanted to see new places, I just hope she's been taking care of herself." Atros explained. "I'm sure she has. I'll go get Rurik now, he needs to know this." Irsa assured and left to look for Rurik. When she saw him outside he smiled and walked outside. "Dear, your father and I want to see you for a moment." she said.

Rurik looked up at his mother's voice and easily followed her into the castle, not sure what it was that they wanted to talk to him about. Irsa opened the study's door and motioned for Rurik to step inside. "Rurik there's something your mother and I need to talk to you about. So step inside and have a seat." Atros started. Not sure what his parents wanted to talk about, Rurik hesitated before stepping inside and taking a seat. Irsa then closed the door and took a seat beside him. "What is it you want to talk to me about?" Rurik asked.

"How would you feel about having a sister?" asked Atros. Rurik raised an eyebrow at this and looked at his mother before looking back at his father. "Well I'm not sure really. I guess it would be nice to have someone else to talk to. Why? Is mother pregnant?!" he asked. "No, no I am not and won't be anymore I promise you." Irsa said, laughing lightly. "Then why do you ask?" Rurik asked. "Rurik, before you were born your mother gave birth to a girl. She was a good girl if I remember correctly, but one day she got up and left. Saying that she wanted to see new places and whatnot." Atros started and sighed. "Basically, you have an older sister that your father and I haven't told you about because we didn't want you to worry about her or think ill of her for leaving the house." Irsa explained.

"I have a sister..." Rurik started. Yes he was upset that his parents never told him, but he wasn't going to raise his voice towards his parents. "Well...will I be able to meet her someday?" he asked. "Dear I don't know. We haven't heard from her since she left. You aren't mad at us are you?" Irsa asked. "I'm upset, but I can't hate either of you. She knew what she was doing when she left I hope. I just wish I could have met her is all." Rurik replied. "Well maybe you will Rurik. I'm sure she'd love to visit sometime and see how much you've grown." Atros said easily. "I was just a baby when she left?" Rurik asked and frowned. "Yes you were. And a very cute baby at that." Irsa said and gently brushed some hair away from his face.

A month had passed and Sylph had grow quite a bit since he had first arrived. He and Rurik were inseparable, and Rurik had actually started to have more talks with Shiva, occasionally walking through the town with her. He was trying to give her some attention like it said in her papers, but most of the time he just made sure she did as she was told. There was still no sign of his sister and he actually thought that maybe she didn't want to come back, and even though that saddened him it also made him happy knowing that he wouldn't have to deal with her. "For all I know she could be a really annoying girl now." he said to Sylph as they lay on his bed, Ruruik's face buried in his blanket. His pale green eyes then looked over at Sylph who flapped its wings and cried out happily.

Shiva was happy to spend the next month or so working for Rurik even if he could be a little brass sometimes. He always made sure to give her the attention she needed and only bit her when she disobeyed him, which wasn't often. Today she was helping clean as usual but was told of someone coming and needing to talk to Rurik so she easily went up to his room and knocked on the door. "Master you have a visitor, he says it's very important." she called softly before waiting outside the room for Rurik to come out hoping she hadn't disturbed him. In all honesty she loved living in the palace and being Rurik's personal servant, even if the biting really did hurt, she would do anything to make sure that she could stay with Rurik, he was really kind.

Rurik looked over at his door and quickly walked over and opened it. "A visitor?" he repeated and raised an eyebrow. "I wonder who it could be." he said and looked into his mirror, making sure he looked presentable and then looked at Shiva and smiled. "Make sure Sylph is fed yes? Thank-you." he said and quickly left downstairs wondering who the visitor could be. He wasn't used to getting visitors, his parents usually got phone calls and sometimes a visitor or two. "Maybe it's a suitor." he said in disgust.
