Zaylic looked up hearing a beautiful voice. He hung his head again seeing the black haired beauty. He noticed her boots as he sat there not really wanting anyone around him. " I'm fine you shouldn't be near me. I'm no good." He admitted as he stared at her boots again. "You should get some new boots and clothes if they are ripped like these. Winter will be coming soon here." He said honestly not wanting anyone hurt. He slowly looked up as he stared into the beautiful black haired girls black eyes. "Y-you shouldn't be out this late. " He said finally knowing that the sun would rise soon.

"Hm? Oh please don't worry, I am just clumsy, i'm learning magic and I tend to blow things up allot." she laughed putting a hand to the back of her head with a blush. "I'm glad you seem okay, but you don't seem bad at all, you have a nice aura about you." she offered softly. "oh my name is Setsudan, but everyone calls me Sinz." She smiled offering her hand in greeting and also to help him up. She had a sense about her that just told you she wasn't from around there, nor was she a love mage or did she use love magic, she almost had a darkness about her but she didn't seem dangerous even with such a power.

Zaylic just sat there as he stared at her hand. "No thank you. Trust me Sinz you don't wish to be near me. You look out of place here. And I don't really believe your practicing magic. I know magic and that isn't the work of magic." He said knowing if it had been she would still have magic on her. He didn't see a magic aura of any kind coming from her. As he just sat there wondering if she was on the run or what her story was.

"What do you mean? this is all from me messing up a spell... one of the mages was trying to teach me how to make special cookies but they blew up... they said it never happened before and I don't think they want me back in the temple now... they looked at me like I was cursed or something when the cookies blew up" Sinz sighed pulling her other sleeve up to show her bandaged hand and unwrapped it so you could see a magic burn but it didn't seem to have normal magic coming off it either. "I just moved here with my mentor, she says that she used to live close to here and that I could learn more about magic here.... so I guess I really do seem out of place" she sighed softly before turning to leave. "Please be careful." she said softly before she started to move away very slight flicks of magic coming off of her dress seeming to be the same type of spell that was on the cloaks Zaylic and Aria made.

Zaylic stared up at her as he saw the strange flakes of magic. "Wait....who is mentor? Your robe is enchanted why?" He said as he stood suddenly walking up behind her gently placing his hand her her shoulder as he stared at her lovely black hair. She was full of strange wonder. "I-I've heard that same story before from my sister. " He said as he remember Aria's own story with the lady. "The dress only the most powerful can use that spell. I only know two people who can do it. My sister and her mentor. " He said honestly wondering if there was another as powerful as them.

Sinz jumped a little as she was touched and looked back at Zaylic with her big dark eyes seeming worried as he asked about her dress. "M-my mentor... enchanted this dress for me... it... it just makes it easier to fix and keeps it from becoming too damaged while I'm using magic... n-nothing special." she stuttered a little trying to hide the fact that she was lying, she didn't want anyone to know why she had an enchanted dress... she didn't want to be called a freak again. "P-please I must go now... I need to collect special flowers before the first rays of sun hit them" she said honestly but also just didn't want her secret being found out

"I've lived in the dark long enough to know when someone is lying. You are full of lies. I have one of those robes. I wear mine to hide my curse that the witch put on me. Just like she put on all her victims before they die. " He said as he looked to the ground. " By the way your to late the sun's rays are here." He said as he watched the first rays appear and touch the earth. He let go of her as he had a bad feeling about this. " Tell your mentor Prince Caspian says hi. " He simply said having a bad feeling he knew the mentor already. Aura was endanger and the others if he was right. He turned as he walked down the path heading back to the house. He gently pulled out a white spirit flower that he wore around his neck. It was giving to him by the witch the day he had feel in love with her. It glowed with life once again as he yanked the chain from around his neck throwing it back towards Sinz. "Give this to her she will know how to find me." He said fearing that it was the witch herself back. If it really was she would come to him.




Aria slept for half of the day as she slowly open her eyes. She felt very weak as she found herself in a strange place. However she felt as if she knew the place. She slowly smiled as she saw Kayo. She looked down to his wound happy to see that he was safe. She looked to her hands as she tried to figure out has she was still human. She felt her neck as two puncture wounds on it. She shifted her eyes back to Zayo as she gently reached up and caressed his face. "Good morning Kayo. I hope you feel better. Thank you for staying with me." She said as she couldn't help but smile.

"A... witch??? oh no you must be mistaken I'm sure! my mentor isn't a witch, she's a white mage." Sinz said seeming really confused then caught the flower and looked at it for a moment before seeing the male leave, she had so many questions now... how did he know that she was cursed? And why did he think her mentor was a witch? She frowned a little but went to her mentors house and gave her the flower relaying the message but getting a puzzled response.

Kayo had slept alongside Aria throughout the night and into the next day stretching a little with a yawn as he felt movement then looked down at Aria and smiled kissing her head softly. "i'm sorry about last night... i really am" he said softly hoping she wasn't mad at him.

Aura whimpered as she awoke late the next morning feeling extremely weak and tired still. Her eyes had lost their rainbow shine along with her aura and she just seemed really weak right now. Slowly she moved a bit to sit up groaning at how weak her body felt right now.

Aria blushes feeling his soft kiss on her fore head. She smiled as she slowly leaned up and kissed his cheek out of impulse. She blushes brightly as she looked down at his bed. "I......it's ok honestly. I am just happy you are alright. I trust you Kayo. If you ever need it...." She said as she gently felt her neck again. "I am fine if you do so again. " She said as she tried to smile at him. "I need some food I believe or to change back into my doll form. I'm just rather tired. Is this what Zaylic meant about keeping your fangs away from me?" She asked honestly just wondering. "I don't know much about your kind or any others to be honest."


Damien slowly kissed Aura's fore head as he stared at her worried. " Aura.....are you ok?" He asked wondering if there was anything he could do to help her. She was so weak he was worried. He gently held her still as he smiled at her. "Shh...Aura you look so weak. Is there anything I can do to help you? " He said honestly worried about her.


Zaylic walked to the new memorial as he waited for her. If it was really her she would appear soon or send him something like she use to. He hung his head as he waited knowing he had some cross words for her. She had vanished on him without a word and used his own potion on the others. She had a lot to answer for. He wanted to know mainly why she left and without him. He would have followed her to the ends of the earth, just like Aria would have. He did have resentment for her but his was personal. He had once loved her or still did instead when he told her how he felt she fled and cursed him with the others.

"Oh yeah... sorry I almost forgot let me go get you something.. and... yeah Zaylic was afraid I would bit you and either kill you or turn you into a vampire I'm sure... while it's not the more horrible fate it's definitely something you don't want to jump right into... I mean... you have to watch everyone you've ever cared about that's not a vampire or some other creature die when you can never find that peace." he explained softly before slowly getting up and heading off to the kitchen coming back a few minutes later with some hot tea and sandwiches. "Here ya go, these should help you feel better." he said softly as he set the tray in front of her and smiled softly but blushed some. "Aria... are you sure about that?" he asked softly and a bit worriedly hoping she wasn't just saying that out of pity.

Aura looked up to Damien softly and nodded. "I'm okay... I'm just... really tired.... that spell... it drains almost all of my powers as a love mage... it takes me a long while to get them back afterwards." she explained softly before noticing something different about him and slowly sat up looking at him closely tears starting to come to her eyes as she looked at him and gently placed her hand on his cheek still supporting herself with the other. "Damien... you're...." she said quietly trailing off a bit as she looked at him and could feel his powers in full now and could tell that he was a complete human again

Damien just smiled as he softly kissed her forehead. " It's ok and I'm free. I'm sorry for being upset with you. Aria showed me everything. " He said as he softly kissed her forehead. He smiled at her as stared into her eyes still finding them beautiful even without how brightly they shined before. " Then I guess we should get you something to eat then shouldn't we? If you would like I would be happy to share some of my own power with you till you are rested." He offered as he waited for her response.

Aria smiled as she gently took one of the sandwiches and started to nibble on it. She ate a few of the sandwiches as she started to feel better. She looked up at him as she smiled softly. " I synced with you while you where out. I know you are a good man Kayo. I didn't say it was ok out of pity. I trust you and if I can help you then I want to. " She said as she blushed thinking about everything she had felt when she sync with him. " I had to in order to get us here. I promise I would have asked if it hadn't been so important. I am sorry for your loss and I understand how sad you are at watching others pass before you. I felt the sadness in you. " She said softly as she gently caressed his cheek with loving care. " I am not like other humans I'm cursed. The ones that loved me are long dead too. Even if I'm freed the world I knew is gone." She said softly.

"Oh Damien that makes me so happy." Aura smiled as she hugged him really happy that the curse had been broken but then paused. "But... how?" she asked curiously and shook her head a little. "No, you had every right to be upset with me... i'm.. so sorry I let that happen... that... i didn't stop what happened... And that I hurt you so." she said softly then smiled a little "I think just having some food should make me feel better thank you... I'll be okay I just need allot of rest." she explained softly but still smiled some

Kayo smiled softly as he listened to her but then frowned a little at the end hugging her softly before looking at her. "Aria... if we can break this curse... if the powers that are keeping you immortal were to start to dry up... would you consider staying by my side?" he asked softly meaning if she would allow him to turn her into a vampire if she were to become mortal again... she was very important to him... even though he had just met her... he cared very much for her and if she were to become mortal... he wouldn't be able to watch her die like everyone else he loved. He knew that Aura was okay, she was a love mage, even without using special spells they could live for a very very long time.

Damien smiled softly as he gently picked her up as he headed down the stairs to the kitchen. He gently placed her in a chair as he looked around feeling a little lost. " Where is Aria when you need her." He said as more of a joke as he felt like a fish out of water. He found some bread and meats and he fixed Aura some sandwiches. "I know this isn't Aria's cooking but hopefully it will do. I'm not use to this." He said meaning being human as he held it out to her.


Aria stared at Kayo and thought about what he said. " I am mortal Kayo, and I know you have feelings for me. But if you changed me I couldn't help you any more. Who would help you if you got hurt again? Besides Kayo you should save that for your true love not someone like me." She said softly as she looked down to the bed. "I don't want you to lose a shot at love over me. When you find the one you love that is the one you should turn. " She said softly. However she jumped as she heard the front door burst open. She jumped into Kayo's lap as she heard stomping as Zayic appeared before them.
"Aria......I told yo.....Bat I'm " He froze as he saw the marks on Aria's neck. " You......I warned you to keep your fangs away from her! Aria we are going home this instance! Get away from that monster!!!" He demanded as he walked near the bed reaching for Aria. " Aria moved back as she shook her head. " No!!! He didn't nothing wrong! How could you just burst into his house.....how did you..... What is going on Zaylic?" She wasn't sure what she should do.

Aura blushed as she was picked up but then smiled some and took the sandwich eating it easily. "You should have one too, I'm sure after so long of not being a human you'll need to eat." she said softly but smiled some. "it's okay, it's actually good." she laughed a little.

"Aria no I meant-" Kayo started before looking up as he heard someone busting into his house. "You really have no manners do you?" he asked before frowning. "i told her to get away when I woke up... she wouldn't listen and insisted on helping me... believe me Zaylic I had no intention of biting her." he explained then looked to Aria and frowned, if she didn't want to go he wouldn't let Zaylic force her away. "If she doesn't want to go then why make her? Certainly she's old enough to make her own decisions.

Zaylic cut his eyes to Kayo as he looked almost dark for a second. " No one asked you. Aria we are going home. " He said as he looked to her. "Aria shook her head as she moved from Kayo's side and stood in front of him and Zaylic. " I am not going with you! You are going to apologize to him! It was my choice to help him!" She said as she glared at him angry with him for his actions. " You have caused enough pain for one day. Please just go away." Zaylic looked at her as he felt his anger grow. He reached out and hit Aria hard. She hit the floor as he stared at her wishing there had been another way. " Maybe I didn't make myself clear. Stay away from her. There is more going on here than you know. Aria isn't some pretty face and she'll pay the heist price if she gets to attached to anyone. " He said as he reached down picking her. " Stay away from her."

Damien nodded as he fixed himself the same thing. He tried it as he found it was really good. However he was sure it was just the fact he hadn't ate in a while. He looked to her as he smiled. " It's really good. Does this mean that maybe we could go to a date sometime to a place and eat? " He said hoping that she wouldn't be upset with him at the idea.

Seeing this Kayo's eyes suddenly turned dark red as he leaped out of bed and tackled Zaylic cracking him hard in the face before pumbling him repeatedly. "HOW DARE YOU TOUCH A WOMAN LIKE THAT! HOW DARE you touch Aria like that!" he snarled angrily.

"of course! I would love that." Aura smiled easily but her happy tone sounded a little off... all of her emotions did really, even her excitement at him being normal again. It was clear that that spell had taken more out of her then just energy and magic, she was having trouble with just simple emotions right now.

Zaylic was surprised a he dropped Aria. He quickly pushed Kayo back as he just stared at him. "You don't understand our curse. If she grows attached to you it could kill her! Why don't you go check on Aura and see how she is? I am doing this to protect Aria you fool. You saw what happen to Damien what if you where in Aura's shoes, and Aura has no magic to help? Do you want to watch Aria die as the pain kills her? Maybe you should go into the woods for a walk bat. Look at all the bodies and know if you don't leave Aria alone she'll join them. Aria and I are tied to a stronger curse. Stay away from her." He said as he was barely about to stand. " You win for now. But I'm only being the bad guy to protect her. You don't know what's coming for us. You love her I see that. But I don't think you can save her. I think she'll end up paying the price for you instead. I can't win in a fight against you. You want to keep up this dance with her fine. But know when she dies and she will you can't save her." He said as he slowly turned around and headed out the door.

Damien looked at Aura as he noticed something wasn't right with her. " Aura what is wrong? I think something else happen because you used that spell. " He said as he put his food down and walked over to where she was. " What is going on Aura?" He said as he felt a slight trace of fear enter his mind staring at her.

Kayo frowned as he moved. "I know about the curse, I had the unpleasant experience of seeing what happened, but from what I understand the only time the curse went that far is if one person refused to say they loved the other when they really did." he said looking at Aria worriedly wondering how it could be different. "And no matter what the reason you have no right hitting her." he frowned darkly.

Aura looked up at Damien as she ate but then frowned and looked away clearing the bite from her mouth. "I guess you could say using certain spells out of my book comes with their own prices... while the book saw me as a love mage, one that could handle it's powers, I did not actually have the powers of a love mage at the time... so when i first opened the book to try and learn a spell my emotions were forcefully bound to my magic and vice-versa. In other words when my magic gets down to a certain level it feeds off of my emotions, and when using a spell like that... well... i can't really be considered a love mage again until my powers fully restore, in other words, I'm a normal mage right now, well a green mage to be exact.

Zaylic stared at Kayo and shook his head. " You knew more about the witch as I did. You also know that she was one of the strongest magic wielders in any land. Aria wasn't just cursed like the rest of us. The witch sought her out because she has a power that can rival her own. However Aria doesn't know that. She is special but the witches motives weren't noble. She wanted Aria's power for herself......if your going to fall in love with her then protect her. Your Aura suggest you already care for her and hers suggest she has made a connection to you. " He said as he held out his hand a silver light appeared around Aria as he healed her. "I hope you like pain. Your playing with fire." He said as he turned and left heading back to the house.


Damien stared at Aura honestly confused mages where new to him. He knew that people had power yes but nothing past that. " I don't understand any of this. But as long as you will be safe that is what matters. " He said honestly not knowing what she as talking about. " Come on lets get you to bed you need some rest. " He said as he held out his arm for her. "Unless you would like for me to carry you."

Kayo frowned softly as he listened to Zaylic before looking to Aria once he had left and took her hands gently looking at her worriedly. "Are you okay? Do you know what he meant by that?" he asked curiously hoping she was okay.

"it is rather confusing... I didn't know much about it until I read it in the book but still don't know allot about it" she explained. Aura listened to Damien and nodded before pausing for a second. "Could we go to where the house used to be first? the flowers might help me... you haven't seen the tree yet have you?" she asked curiously giving a little smile as she took his arm hoping he didn't mind and would help her to where the tree was so maybe she could use some of the flowers to gain back some of her powers.

Damien smiled softly as he nodded in agreement. He made sure he walked slow for her as he helped her to the place. He froze once he saw the cherry blossom tree. "Aura did you do this?" He asked amazed with how beautiful everything was. He looked to her as he smiled just happy to have her and being able to breath on his own. He could feel again and most of all he had Aura by his side where she belonged. "Aura.....you asked how I became human. I..." He was trying to figure out how to tell her it was because he admitted he loved her.


Aria slowly woke her head throbbed as she saw Kayo there. "I'm sorry for this." She said as she slowly moved to her feet holding her head as she tried to make her way to the door. She held on to the door frame as she tried to keep herself from falling. She stepped away from the the door frame and missed the first step of the stairs, witch sent her tumbling down them. She cried out in pain as she laid on the cold floor. She didn't like this part of being human. Why was this happening to her. She wondered if this was normal for humans. She missed her doll body. She welcomed the lack of feeling as she shifted back into her doll form. She sat up as the pain faded happy that it did so.

"Yeah... with Aria's help. These are called eternal flowers, they're special magical flowers that only a handful of people can grow." Aura explained softly reaching up to gently pick some of the flowers but for some reason felt as though she had eyes on her making her look around curiously before pulling down about five flowers. She then looked to Damien to see what he was going to say smiling at him softly.

Kayo tried to catch her before she fell but then cursed and ran down the stairs and to her side. "Are you okay? Aria... why are you trying to run from me? Have i done something wrong?" he asked worriedly.

Damien smiled at her as he finally got the never to tell her. " I love you Aura. I know that sounds crazy but I do. I think that friends is nice but I hope one day that can change." He said as looked to her just smiling happy he could finally admit it. He looked around as he found beauty every where. "It's beautiful you really out did yourself you know that."


Aria looked to Kayo as she stared at him. "I would never run from you. I thought you would want me to leave after all the damage and pain you have been put through because of me." She said softly. " I don't like being human. It's quiet painful at times. However feelings you is something that I did like. So there is positives.

"Oh Aria... i think you're just clumsy." Kayo laughed as he picked her up into his arms and walked down the rest of the steps before heading into the living-room and sat down on the couch with her. "Being human is wonderful Aria, even if you get hurt" he said softly kissing the top of her head softly once more. "But could you please tell me what Zaylic meant by that you two were different? I understand you're connected to the house but what does that have to do with the curse?" he asked softly and worriedly.

Aura smiled and was about to say that she loved him too when a red tented arrow came flying at her and hit her in the center of the chest making gasp and cough blood starting to pour from the wound as she fell to the ground. However the red aura vanished and you could see that the arrow, while it had pierced her, had went through an eternal flower that seemed to keep it from going too far into her chest and was keeping her alive.

'please, leave this place.... and never come back' a soft voice spoke and you could see a black haired woman perched on a branch but her lips didn't move. If you looked close enough you could see joints and cracks in certain areas and even strings that seemed to go into nothingness above her. In her hands she held a bow and an arrow glowing with the red aura. But if you looked at her closely you could see that her eyes were shaded and her lips sealed shut with either thread or wire. Her eyes looked sad as she pulled back another arrow and a tear fell from her shaded doll eyes.

A silver arrow hit the black haired doll appearing from no where. Zaylic himself then appeared in front of Aura and Damien. However something was different as thin silver aura came from it. It was easy to see that there was a hit of blackness to it. He was masking his true power he always and his true self as he said nothing holding his own bow. The spirit flowers started to wither around him along with the tree the longer he stood there. A flash of red appeared showing around the cherry blossom tree and graves helping to protect them from Zaylic and the the doll. He held his own bow up as he shot again not missing the other doll. "You need to leave Aura and Damien. You are in danger." He said coldly as he stood tall.
"What? What is going on here?" Damien demanded as he watched everything happen. He held onto Aura as he looked down to her and the red arrow. He stared at the arrow as he looked back to Zaylic feeling something different from him. Why would another doll attack them what was going on. He gently pulled the arrow from Aura's chest as he use his own magic to help heal it. He wasn't sure what was going on but the idea of leaving sounded swell. He turned holding Aura as he tried to put distance between them heading back to the house.

Aria was going to speak as she let out a soft scream feeling Aura's pain. She sat straight up for a moment then rose and turned suddenly walking away from him. She then vanished in a bright red light. Aria appeared beside Zaylic as she just stood there. She said nothing not needing to as a bright red glow came from her eyes. She didn't need a reason why Zaylic had chosen to show the real him or near it. All she needed was Aura was in danger and Damien. She stood there as a red glow came from under Zaylic's robe matching the mark on Aria's wrist. A bright red rose was easily seen as Zaylic's eyes changed to a dark black with a glowing red rim around them.
