Lex smiled as he took her hand and lead her outside to where the locals where dancing. He started to twirled her around and danced with her enjoying himself. He enjoyed dancing with her and the lively celebration that was going on around them. For a moment he forgot about everything and was just there with her. That's when he deiced it was time to let go of his past and everything. He had a chance at a wonderful life with the most amazing girl he every known. She had went though a lot and he owed it to her to make her happy. " Lex wrapped his arms around her as he swayed with her. " Thank you for coming into my life. I hope you know that you are very special to me my Queen." Lex said meaning it as he held her swaying. He wasn't always serious but for right now he felt it was ok to be.

Radiance smiled as Jesse said yes to dancing with her. Radiance blushed as he heard Jesse and felt his kiss. " Awe Kia I missed you too!" She said meaning it as she wrapped her arms around him hugging him. " Thank you it meas a lot. I really missed you to. " She said after letting him go and taking his hand leading him outside to join the others. Radiance danced with Jesse happier than she had been in a very long time. She couldn't remember laughing and just smiling so much in her entire life. She was the happiest at that moment. Her face hurt from smiling so much.

Faida laughed happily as she danced with Lex. This really made the long tiring trip worth it, just to be here with him no matter what they were doing. Faida loved dancing, sometimes she would dance around her room when no one was watching and at times she would dance with her sister if a song she loved came on the radio. Faida was a very sweet girl, extremely shy and somewhat clumsy, but a joy to be around and a lover of her family. She loved her sister and her father immensely. Faida continued dancing with him and blushed softly. "Oh Lex, you are such a sweet man to me. You are very special to me as well Soldier." she replied honestly.

Jesse smiled when he heard her, he had missed hearing her call him by his nickname. "I've missed hearing that." he said to her and hugged her back then followed her out to dance with her. He was so happy right now and seeing her so happy only added to his happiness. He was so glad to have her back in his life. When she first left him, he was a mess and these past days weren't very different. He didn't want to lose her again, he was going to do his best not to lose her even though the second time it wasn't his first time.

Lex smiled as he held Faida close. " It means the world to me to hear that my Queen." He said just above a whisper meaning it. For once he was letting his real emotions show. Faida was the only person who could reach him at his core. She was the reason he wanted to be better. She had reached places that no other had ever reached in the short time he knew her. He held her tightly having stopped dancing by now. He just held her as he thanked the maker for having her back in his life. This time he had a chance to be the person she had believed in. He wasn't going to take her for gradient. " Thank you for coming back to me. I thought I had lost you.' He said knowing she may not remember but he needed to let her know he truly was happy she came back. " My Queen I promise to be better for you. I promise to never leave you lonely. I promise more pizza and less tears. I promise to stay by your side until the end of our time." He said meaning it. There was no playful tone. For once it was a serious tone that came from him.



Radiance paused for a moment as she looked at Jesse and laughed. " It's only been a few days Kia. But I'm glad you missed it and you missed me. I missed you as well. I always miss not having you around. Even if we are mad at one another I still miss you. Your my best friend. I couldn't image a day without you. Besides you promised to play for me one day. So I have to stay away so you'll play happy music for me." Radiance said smiling at him as her face hurt from her smiling. "Strange my face hurts from all the smiling but I'd rather smile more than cry." She said as she took Jesse's hand and started dancing with him. "You should know your the reason for my smiles. You give me a reason to smile every morning because your here." She admitted not caring how silly it sounded. " I know we haven't known each other long but I feel like I've waited a life time for you. So I'm very thankful each day I have with you." Radiance said as she laughed and smiled dancing around him ending her dance right in front of him holding onto his hands.

Faida smiled at him as they continued to dance, she adored dancing with him and hoped they would dance again in the future. Thinking seriously, she realized that she had never felt this way about anyone before. He came into her life and she was so happy that he did. They have had some great times together, so much smiles and pizzas and parties. He truly was perfect in each and every way. When they had stopped dancing, Faida ran her fingers through his red hair softly and raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Lost me?" she repeated softly and looked at him. "Lex what are you talking about?" she asked and smiled as she shook her head. "You never lost me, soldier." she assured but was still confused as to why he had said that. Perhaps he missed her more than she thought. "Sounds lovely." she whispered and kissed him lovingly.


"Yeah a few days that felt like years for me, Radiant." Jesse answered honestly and with a sad smile on his lips. Listening to her, he laughed softly and nodding, understanding what she meant. "I won't get mad at you Radiant, I don't want to lose you anymore...I'm a wreck without you." he confessed and shook his head. "You've smiled a lot, so your muscles are sore, they need a break." he answered as he danced with her. She was a sight to look at no matter what the situation was. "I did promise to play happy music for you, yes." Jesse agreed with a nod of his head. "I'll be sure to play with you once we get back to my place. I worked non stop on the music...I just hope you like them." Jesse commented softly. When they had finished dancing, he brought her hands to his lips and planted a soft kiss on each one.

Lex just smiled as he laughed looking at Faida. He kissed her back and held her. "We should head back soon. The house is drive and it's in some rough terrain. There isn't a paved road halfway more of a dirt road." He said being honest and he enjoyed just having Faida there. " We can do whatever you like the entire trip. Name it my Queen and we'll do it." He said meaning it knowing he was giving her a loaded gun. But to see her smile he would do anything.


Radiance blushed as Jesse kissed her hands and at his sweet words. " Oh Kia." She said softly as she smiled and felt her cheeks grow redder. " You are really sweet you know that. You are the perfect gentleman. " She said smiling at him. " I only want you to write what makes you happy. Don't write to please me. You just being happy pleases me Kia always." Radiance said meaning it. " A break sounds lovely honestly. "

Faida nodded but remained happily in Lex's arms. It sounded like it was going to be a bumpy ride back to his house but she was looking forward to driving there. "Whatever I want?" Faida repeated and she smiled. "I just want to be with my favorite solider. I don't care what we do, although pizza wouldn't hurt." she hinted with a sweet giggle. Anyone who knew her, knew that she loved pizza. It was something she had never tried until she met Lex, it was what had brought them together if she remembered correctly.

Jesse smiled and led her back to their table. "I know you want me to write what makes me happy, but you make me happy. I want to write things that you will like that way I can play them for you whenever you want to hear them." Jesse explained honestly as he wrapped his arms around her and held her close. He didn't want to be away from her anymore, he had missed her so much.

Lex laughed as he heard Faida. " Pizza huh...well the kitchen is fully stocked so we could make a pizza party tonight. " He said as he held her smiling the entire time. " So how much pizza should we make? I mean there are different kinds of pizza. We could do one with cheese stuff crust or a pan pizza. " He said playing with her as he looked at her. " Do you think we should grab the others and head out? You and I could make different pizza's tonight for everyone for dinner. Since we are at the beach let's do a seafood one as a surprise." He suggested hoping she would like to try it.

Radiance blushed as Jesse wrapped his arm around her. She smiled as she melted against him just happy to be with him. " Well you make me happy. So whatever you write will be wonderful even your sad music. I'm just happy to see you playing honestly. You are very talented and it makes you look relaxed. Even if you only play for me I hope that you always play. I love your music just like I love you. " Radiance said as she smiled warmly at him. " You know it's really nice here. I wouldn't mind living in a place like this but only if you where with me. However I wonder if it would get old to live here. Oh did you let your sister know that you where going to be out of town? You know she'll worry about you. I hope that the baby is still doing good I miss her. Do you think one night we could babysit. I could make treats for us or try to. You know that's something I would love to do with you. I promised to make you cookies and treats. You know Christmas will be coming up shortly maybe we can make ginger bread houses and different cookies together this years if your ok with it. " Radiance said hoping that he didn't mind. " If you don't want to it's ok. But I think it might be fun to do so together. Besides your the cook I need to be the baker so we complete each other." She said in a playing tone.

Faida was surprised to learn that there were different types of pizza. "There are different types of pizza?!" Faida gasped, her eyes wide in surprise. Faida wondered what pan pizza and cheese stuff crust pizza would taste like. Would she love them? "Oh my, I would love to try all the pizzas. I wonder how good they are, and making pizzas with you sounds really fun!" Faida commented with a smile on her face. "Hmm? A seafood pizza? Well that sounds interesting. Are all pizzas good?" she asked and then blinked at his question. "Oh yes! I am sure they will all enjoy the pizzas." she answered honestly.

Jesse smiled and kissed her forehead. "Playing music does relax me honestly. I will always play. Not all day of course but I'll play once a day, or more if you ask me to." he said and blushed softly, I love you too Radiant." Jesse answered and listened to her. Him live here with her? What about her pink house? "My sister?" he repeated and shook his head. "W-well no. I...I haven't talked to her in a while. Little Ellie is fine I'm sure, her birthday is coming up actually so I'll be visiting her for her birthday, of course I'd love it if you could go with me." Jesse explained softly. He missed little Ellie and he still needed to buy her a gift of sorts. "Yes I'm sure we could babysit, I'll have to ask Sarah when she would want us to babysit though." Jesse answered and smiled, "That sounds like fun." he said softly and chuckled softly. "You're right, I need my beautiful baker with me if I'm cooking." He agreed and surprised her with a soft kiss.

Lex laughed as he looked to Fadia. " You know with your love for pizza I'm lucky you haven't met a Italian. Speaking of witch maybe that's where we should go for your birthday is to Italy so you can try pizza where it came from." He said as he laughed looking at her. He paused as he thought about it. " You know it might really be fun honestly. We could see the country and you could try their food." He said as he smiled at her. " You might enjoy the new country and the food." He said honestly giving it a thought.

Radiance looked at him and smiled. "Awe well I have to learn how to bake first before that. " She said as she laughed and smiled. "But I will do my best!" Radiance blushed from his kiss and kissed him back as she laughed and smiled. She was surprised by him as she looked to the ground not sure what to say. She was happy to be with him and hoped that she could be a good baker so she could be his beautiful baker."

Faida giggled and smiled. "If I had met an Italian and then you, I'd still choose you because you're my soilder and I don't want anyone else." She said softly. Faida was surprised when she heard his suggestion, was he serious?! "Italy?!" Faida gasped. "You want to got to Italy with me?" She asked Lex. It sounded exciting actually. It would be a lot of fun to be somewhere new and with Lex. "It sounds like fun, but I always have fun when I'm with you." Faida answered and smiled up at him.

Jesse smiled, "I can't bake, but my sister can. I'm sure she would be happy to teach you. You know she likes you." He answered. Looking at her, it was easy to see that his kiss had taken her by surprise. "Sorry for surprising you, Radiant." He said softly and held her close in his arms, enjoying the time they were just spending together.

Lex laughed as he smiled at Faida as he gently wrapped his arms around her again. " Well I haven't really haven't taken a vacation until now since I've been working. If going to Italy would make you happy of course we will go. You are my Queen and I'll do just about anything that makes you happy. Of course I'm serious about taking you I'm not letting you go without me. I'm not stupid I have the most wonderful women in the world and some how she loves me. I would be a fool to let you go without me there would be someone else snatching you up. You are taken for now and forever so don't think your going anywhere without me lady. I'm your soldier and your my Queen I don't share. " Lex said in a playful tone as he started to tickle Faida and laugh enjoying himself.

"Come on my Queen let's find the others. If you keep this up I'm going to have to marry you here and now so the guys here will stop staring at you. " he said looking at a few of the men who grinned looking at Faida. " I really never thought I would find a girl much less a goddess like you to love me. " Lex said meaning it as he kept his arms around Faida letting the other guys know she was taken. " Who knows maybe we can find someone to teach you how to make Pizza in Italy. " Lex said smiling at Faida.




Radiance looked up at Jesse and gave him a soft smile. " Why are you sorry you have done nothing wrong. I just thought it was really sweet of you was all. Besides isn't it a good thing that you can surprise me and make me blush. It means I care for you." She said trying not to smile her face hurting from smiling so much." I guess I'll have to learn to build up my endurance because I'm always smiling around you and that's how I want to keep it!" She said meaning it as she hugged him and rested her head against his shoulder. " You think she would really teach me? " Radiance said as she thought for a moment. " It's ok I'd rather learn with you. I know your relationship with your family is different and I don't want you uncomfortable. " Radiance said meaning it as she hugged him tighter and rested against him him just happy to be with him.

Faida listened to what Lex had to say and couldn't help but blush softly. "Oh Lex..." she started and thought about what he was proposing. A vacation to Italy sounded wonderful, but what about his job? "It's really sweet of you to offer that, and I would love to go but what about your job?" she asked. "I don't want you to lose your job because of me." Faida explained honestly. She giggled cutely, it was obvious he loved her very much to do this just for her. "I wouldn't dream of going anywhere without my solider by my side." she assured and started laughing when Lex started to tickle her. He was tickling her so much that her stomach hurt but she didn't care, this was too much fun.

"Oh my, I never noticed I was being stared at." Faida said and looked at the other men then back at Lex with a warm smile on her face. "Please don't say that Lex, you are the sweetest man I have ever met. Any girl would be lucky to call you theirs." she commented and kissed him one last time. "I love you so much." she whispered and smiled before starting to walk back to their table with him. "Perhaps. It would be fun to learn how to make a pizza." Faida agreed, nodding.

Jesse looked at Radiance and nodded, "Well yes, it is a good thing." he admitted and chuckled softly. "Well that's good. I wouldn't want to make you frown. I just want to make you happy." he said. "Sarah will be very happy to teach you I promise." he said and frowned. "I know my family and I don't get along, but Sarah likes you and so do Robert and Ellie. They all adore you and that makes me happy. I don't mind visiting her so that you could learn to bake, I'm sure it could be fun." he explained. It was nice of Radiance to be so understanding of his situation, but he couldn't avoid his family forever. If he knew anything about his sister, it was that she already told the family about his girlfriend which meant they all would want to meet her at their next get together.

Radiance smiled as she heard Jesse. " Ok then I will look forward to it. Kia, I know your family loves you and I know you love them that's what matters. Besides the most important thing is your happy with your life. If your not happy with your life than change it and change the people in it or whatever you need to to make you happy. " She said as she held his hand. " The most important this is to live a happy life or one the way you want. I just want you happy Kia. You've made me very happy but even if making you happy meant leaving the life you have now and going somewhere else that is what you should do. But don't worry I'd be there for you always. I will always do my best to support your choices. I know that you work really hard and that is nothing to be ashamed of. Your family may have their own ideas of what happiness is but it doesn't mean they don't really love you. It just means you have different ideas. " She said smiling very sweetly at Jesse. " Besides we can't pick our family we are stuck with them so we have to make the best of what we get and have. Faida and I can be at ends sometimes but in the end we are sisters and that fact will never change. " She said softly. " But enough of that we have a beautiful beach to enjoy! What would you like to do when we get back to the beach house? " she asked wondering what there was to do around here.

"Faida you know your Dad is my boss right. So vacation shouldn't really be a issue. And before now I never really took vacation so I have plenty stored up. Besides if your Dad wants to be a pain about it I have you. All you have to do is tell your Dad you want to go. I'm sure he would me more than happy for you to have trained cop with you. Not that you really need it but it never hurts. " He said as he grinned following her. " If you like we can do a stuffed crust pizza tonight and save some of the others for another night so you can have Pizza more than one night while your hear.Besides it would give me time to catch some good seafood for us in the water here."

"I love and hate them. It's complicated." Jesse started but smiled. He was pretty happy with his life, he had always been happy with what he had even if his family always put him down. Sure he wasn't a doctor or a lawyer or anything of that sort, but he still had a job that paid his bills. He actually missed working at the diner, but he'd return eventually. "I wouldn't change anything, I'm happy with what I have in my life. You're right, family is forever and we have to learn to get along." he said and laughed when she mentioned him working so hard. He was a workaholic. If he wasn't working at the diner, he was working at his house by keeping it clean and organizing everything. When asked what he wanted to do when they got back to the beach house, Jesse frowned slightly as he tried to think of what they could do. "Well tell me, is there anything in particular you would like to do?" he asked.

Faida blinked and giggled, "Oh right! My daddy is your boss. Silly me!" she replied and laughed. "I just realized you are dating your boss' daughter, you better be careful or else I will tell daddy on you!" she teased. She would never do such a thing unless Lex really hurt her, but she knew he wouldn't because he was much too sweet to her. "Very true, I am sure I can convince him to let you have a nice vacation. I do need to be protected at all times right?" she asked and kissed his cheek. To say she loved him seemed like an understatement, she couldn't find the right word to describe how she felt towards him. "Stuffed crust pizza?" she repeated and nodded with a smile, "That sounds like a wonderful idea." she agreed.

Radiance thought for a moment not really sure what she would like to do. " I really don't have anything I would like to do. I mean other than lay out in the sand tomorrow and maybe play in the ocean some. I'm not as adventurous as Faida is. I'm sure Faida and Lex will both have a list of things they plan on doing. I really would just like to see the house and enjoy the sound of the ocean waves. " Radiance said as she smiled. " I brought some of the paperwork from my office to look over and some new papers I've been meaning to get through. There is a chance I might become admin of the hospital but I'm not sure if I want it or not. I brought the paperwork with me to think on it. It would be a big pay raise but it would mean more responsibility. Dad sent me a text about it because apparently the current Admin called him frantic wanting to know my answer. I honestly don't remember being asked but dad said he packed my papers and if I can't find them he'll overnight them to me if I would like." Radiance said as she became somber looking really lost in thought.

Lex laughed as he saw Jesse and Radiance and called out to them. " Hey you guys want to start heading back? Faida and I thought it might be a good idea so we can catch some waves then we could treat you both to some stuffed crust pizza tonight. What do you two think?" He asked wondering if they where ready to leave or if they wanted to stay for a little while longer. "If you want to stay it's fine I'm sure locals wont mind. Most of them party here until midnight so to them you would just be another member of the party. Besides the locals love people who are friendly and love to party."

"I'm not very adventurous either. I think I would just like to relax on the beach, make a few phone calls, nothing extreme." Jesse said and chuckled. When she mentioned that she might be the new hospital admin, he was surprised but very happy for her. "Radiant that's amazing!" he gasped with a grin. "It's a big step, do you think you would be able to handle it?" he asked. "I believe in you and will be happy for you no matter what you choose. I just want you to be comfortable and happy with your job. It's no good getting a better job if it just stresses you out and makes you miserable." Jesse explained. He wasn't sure if she heard what he said though because she looked lost in her own thoughts. Jesse looked over at Lex and then looked back at Radiance, "Come on, we should get going." he said softly and kissed her cheek before standing and taking her hand as he led her over to where Lex and Faida waited for them.

Faida was getting hungry just thinking about the pizza she and Lex would work on. She wanted to tell Radiant about the Italy vacation but she was not sure if Lex wanted anyone to know about this yet since it wasn't certain it would happen. "Solider, you keep mentioning pizza and now I am really very hungry for some." she whined and pouted cutely.

Radiance gently took Jesse's hand as she smiled. " Well it's not final and I really need to think about it. Because right now I just want to spend time with you. I don't want to get a job that would pull me away from you. Besides who's to say tomorrow I would even want to be a doctor? Come on Kiba lets go!" She said warmly and smiled at him. " Who knows I might become a baker instead and open a bakery." She said laughing at the idea just playing with him.

"What? There is no way your hungry!" Lex said to Faida as he laughed and smiled at her. "You just ate so I know you have no room for pizza if we even made one once we got to the house." He said to her and laughed. " I do promise we will make you some for dinner." He said smiling at her. " So are you driving back or do you want to go on my ride?" He said playing with her knowing the scooter wasn't really anything to be proud of. However he just wanted to make her laugh.

Jesse smiled and shook his head as he walked with her. "A baker?" he repeated. He could see her as a baker, Faida would probably help her out. "I can actually see you and Faida baking together." Jesse commented honestly. He was very lucky to have her in his life, he never had someone care so much about him. It was a nice feeling, but he didn't want all the attention, he wanted her to focus on herself as well.

Faida laughed cutely, "I know Soldier, I was just teasing you." she said and kissed his cheek. "I'm not hungry at all, I'm quite full actually." she answered and smiled up at him. "Ride?" she repeated and grinned. "I think Jesse can drive her back to your place, I will go on the ride with you." Faida answered. She knew those two would enjoy the time together.

Radiance smiled as she heard him and laughed softly. " Well we have time to figure things out. Besides we are young still. " She reminded him softly as she laughed looking over hearing Faida and Lex. " Come one Kia here you drive." She said throwing her keys to him and laughed as she suddenly bolted for the explorer as she looked like she danced almost part of the way to the vehicle. She seemed care free and couldn't help but laughed as she enjoyed herself. " I bet I could beat you old man in a race!" She said to Lex as she gave him a beautiful grin.


Lex looked up hearing Radiance as he arched a brow looking to Jesse then to Faida. He turned as he laughed and crossed his arms looking to Radiance. " Oh is that so? So I'm old man now? Well why don't you prove it Princess." He said in playful tone as he grinned at her. " I think your in over your head Princess. You might break a nail." He said messing with her more than anything. However he honestly wondered if it was wise to encourage her. After all her and Faida had just got back. They where human now. He wasn't sure what she knew and what she didn't. However part of him couldn't resist her challenge.

Radiance eyes seemed to hold a slight gleam in them hearing Lex's response. " Oh really? " She said as innocent as ever as a grin appeared on her lips. " If we where back home I'd make you eat those words. I would be the one criminal your over sized second hand truck couldn't keep up with. " She said knowing it would get under his skin a little. " If your not to scared of losing to a girl then lets race. How about we race from here out to the booie. " She said pointing out to the ocean where the booie was. " To make this better the winner has to buy Faida something she really wants. Like maybe a tattoo. And for me for my hair to be dyed. " She said innocently as she walked to where Lex was smiling at him.

Lex stared at Radiance hearing her as he narrowed his eyes. He didn't really hear her terms all he heard was what she said about his truck. " Oh is that so? That's it I'm taking you down! You'll regret those words! He said as glared at her. " We swim there and back! Who makes it back first wins! " He said as he glared at her. " On three we go! Jesse count us off!" He said ready to take Radiance down.

Both Jesse and Faida stood back as they listened to both Lex and Radiance challenge each other to a quick swimming race. Listening to what was at stake, Jesse didn't think it was worth it but these two were very competitive it seemed and wouldn't take no for an answer. Looking over at Faida, "Who do you think is going to win?" he asked her quietly while he watched Radiance and Lex continue to add to the teasing.

Faida listened and blinked, she didn't know what a tattoo was but it sounded like fun! Listening to Jesse, she sighed and hugged herself. "I really don't know Jesse. I mean, I think they both have what it takes to win. Perhaps it will actually be a tie?" Faida suggested. She didn't know what would happen if there was a tie since there would be no winner or no loser. "Who do you think is going to win?" Faida asked him.

"A tie would be great but if I had to say, I think Radiance would win. She initiated the challenge which means she is confident in her abilities. So that means that she has the greater chance of winning." Jesse answered her and smiled. "Alright then! Three, Two, One, Go!" he said watched the two run off towards the water to swim. This was actually really exciting to watch, he really needed this after having worked for so long. It was always nice to just take it easy for a while. Both he and Faida were cheering the other on, wondering who would be the winner in the end.

Radiance bolted forward leaving Lex to eat her dust as she moved with great speed looking as if she wasn't even trying. She laughed a big smile on her face enjoying herself fully. She felt alive as she ran suddenly bolting forward even more finally reaching her top speed. Suddenly she was sent into the air as she held a huge grin on her face looking like a professional swimmer forming her body perfectly as she dove into the water suddenly. She felt alive as she hit the water feeling perfectly at home. She quickly used her speed from entering the water to send her racing forward in the water. When she finally surfaced she had left Lex so far behind there was no way he could even compete with her. She focused on her task becoming serious as she started swimming like a pro swimmer. She cut through the water with great speed and grace.

Lex couldn't believe what he was seeing nor could any of the other people who had watched. Radiance was honestly impressive. He had tried to take his shoes off before hand however with the suddenly blur from beside him he was caught off guard. He watched her honestly impressed she didn't act like the Radiance he had known. She was so confidant and from the skill she was showing he had a feeling he knew what now. He watched her hit the water not missing a stride as if she had done this for years. He did his best to keep up with her however she easily out preformed him something he didn't like to admit. By the time he made it back to the beach Radiance had been there a while waiting on him. He panted as he bent over trying to catch his breath sanding on the shore as he looked up at Radiance.

She looked as if this had only be a warm up for her. He stared at her wondering what secrets these girls had that he and Jesse didn't know about . Apparently they had gained skills to fit their new memories and bodies. Apparently Radiance was a Olympic swimmer now. He stared at her in awe as he saw how happy she looked. She looked more like a collage girl just enjoying herself not the same person he had known. He kinda liked this version of her better. He wondered if what she had was true. After how she just hustled him he had a bad feeling she wasn't lying to him about being able to outrun him in her vehicle. He stared at her as he finally was able to breath normal standing up straight staring at her.

" When did you becoming a Olympic swimmer?" He said honestly afraid of the answer. He saw a gleam in her eyes he had never seen before. This Radiance looked as if she had a adventurous spirit. Honestly she looked like trouble wrapped up in a deadly package. She was beautiful, smart, and apparently cunning. The look she had was beautiful and scary. She looked so alive and happy but what worried him was what other thrilling things did she like doing. He had a feeling he was going to find out the hard way.


"Don't be silly Lex. Besides you asked for it. You said that a Princess like me would break a nail. The only thing I broke was your ego." She said looking as innocent as every as she said it. A soft smile appeared on her lips as she smiled at him. " I told you, your a old man. Your so out of shape. Really and your suppose to be our best cop. We are in trouble." She said obviously playing with him. " Besides you would have never won the odds where never in your favor." She said as she smiled at him leading him back to Jesse and Faida. " Father has encouraged us since we where little to do what makes us happy. As a young age I found I love the water so father got me in classes. I may have done some training and competitions. Father always said that idle hands are hands of the devil. So he kept us in extra activities. You know this Lex. I guess you still haven't learned from our last race that you can't keep up with me. I'm to fast for you old man. Besides you blew your truck motor the last time we raced. Don't worry I'll have it fixed when we get back. I went ahead and ordered you a new one and some other parts to make that rust bucket faster. " She said as she smiled at him. " Besides I had to make you mad enough to race me. You wouldn't let me and the guys at the shop fix it up for you. So I may have pushed you into racing me so I and the guys could fix your truck up for you." She said so innocently.

"What?" Lex said as he looked to Jesse not sure what to say. He looked over at Radiance as he tried not to laugh. " What? Your telling me you know how to fix cars now too? " He said as he looked to Faida wondering what other skills she had now.

" Fix them? I'm not sure that's accurate. I don't have that much time anymore because of my job. Besides I'm better at making the cars go faster and doing the body art on them. But if I had the time yea I could fix a car. Dad and the guys taught both me and Faida. Why are acting so weird today? Old man your acting really weird. Faida is the one who fix your truck last time. Besides Fadia is one of the top snipers and has been getting special training. She is also a master archer. And I'd say after you last round she's a expert in hand to hand combat and beat your rear. Faida is more of the fighter and hunter. Her skills are deadly." She said as she smiled and laughed.

"Old man you lost so you have to pay for Faida's tatoo and for my hair. " She said as she grinned. " And you get to explain to our father about it. " She said as she grinned. " Besides he said we couldn't get them on our own. If you pay for it we didn't break his rules at all." She said softly as she smiled and laughed. " Besides you lost because my body frame is much lighter than yours. I also am not wearing anything to weight me down and give me drag in the water. You really have got to step up your game old man. I mean if you keep this up you'll have no reputation at all." She said as she laughed softly and smiled. " Your acting so weird Lex. You know all of this stuff already."

What the heck had happened to Radiance? She lost her wings and gained something else. He wasn't sure how he felt about the new Radiance but he didn't want to focus on that right now. She would be dying her hair it seemed and he wasn't too happy about that but it didn't matter, it was her hair and she could do whatever she wanted. Jesse felt out of it though. Everyone here was into shooting, hiking, sports...all sorts of athletic stuff and he preferred to stay home and read a book or clean if he wasn't working. He didn't like any sports, he never did. "She's just joking around Lex, we're not it trouble and you're not an old man." he said honestly. It was pretty funny to call Lex an old man but he didn't want to hurt the man's ego either.

Faida smiled at both of them, her sister looked as happy as ever, perhaps it was all the drinks. "Well you both did a great job, but we really should get going don't you think? I don't even know what a tattoo is." Faida said honestly and then frowned. "Sis you don't need to make me sound all amazing, I'm okay. I'm still practicing to get better, I'm not as cool as Radiance makes me out to be but yes I do remember fixing a truck once. That was a lot of fun!" she said and laughed softly. "Come on you two, let's go back and get you both in some dry clothes before you get sick." Faida suggested.

Radiance smiled as she heard her sister and nodded. " As you wish sis. " She said as she smiled and walked to her car and open the back door pulling out a towel as she put it in the seat and then climbed in and waited for Kia. She buckled up and smiled softly as she waited for him. It felt good to run and swim however just being with Kia always felt better. She wondered if it was the beach or the drink that made her want to challenge Lex as she had. She really hadn't planned on getting her hair done but why not make a bet. It didn't hurt either way and worst case later if she needed it she could ask Lex for a favor. Besides he always needed something to fight for. She had learned that much about him. She honestly had just wanted to run and swim. She knew Kia wasn't into such things and knew that Lex would always be up for a challenge.

Lex looked to Faida as he smiled at her. He then looked to Jesse as he watched Radiance not sure what they where going t be in for with these two. It was their girls but they where different. However he had a feeling it wouldn't matter. Maybe it would make them love them more in time. He smiled as he lead Faida to the scooter. " We'll meet you at the house Jesse." He yelled out as he waited for Faida to climb on then started up the scooter. He found drive to be wonderful as he enjoyed the slow pace of the place. Soon enough he saw the house as he smiled. " Here we are. "He said parking the scooter and looking to Faida.

Faida smiled as she looked around, enjoying the view. When they reached the house, she rubbed her eyes and walked over to the house."Very nice!" she said and turned to him. "Lex, what is a tattoo and how do you get one?" she asked curiously since now she was apparently going to be getting one. "Does it hurt? Do you want me to get one?" she asked him.

Jesse nodded and walked over to the car and sat behind the wheel. Closing the door, he buckled up and started up the car before driving off in the direction of the house. At least Radiance was having fun, that's all that mattered. She sorta reminded him of his sister when she was in school. Going off partying and hooking up with the first guy she saw. Sarah had many boyfriends before she finally met Robert and settled down thankfully. He was getting sick of seeing all these different guys with his sister. One month it was one and then another month she was with someone else.

"Whoa hold on you don't know what a tattoo is?" He said as he shook his head hold his fore head as he tried not to laugh. " No your not getting one until you know what it is. You also have to know what you want and have to know the pro and cons of having a tattoo. " He said as he looked up at her and laughed more to himself. " Why on earth would Radiance say that if you didn't know. " He said as he looked to Faida. " A tattoo is painful to get. You force ink between layers of your skin. It is peppermint and just getting one to have one isn't a good reason to have one. You should have one for a reason. You also need to do your research on who is doing it. It's a art form and you want someone who is going to be licensed and follow all safety rules. There can be dangers in getting them if you go to someone who isn't licensed. When you get one it should be something you have put great thought into and consideration. You need to do your research and find a artiest that you like and get them to do yours. A tattoo is a permit design on your body. It is painful to get and even more painful to try and get removed and sometimes it can't be removed fully. So no to you getting one right now. If you choose to get one and you really want it then I have no issue. But it should be your choice and not on a whim. You will have to do your research. Also don't go getting people's name. It never ends well. " He said as he looked her being serious.

" Right now all you get is me and some time to relax. If you really want a tattoo though I'll get you one. But it wont be a permit one until you have put thought into it and research. Now take your cute self inside and let's wait for the others so we can get you and Radiance settled in and if you like you and I can go surfing."


Radiance could see that Jesse looked a little upset. She looked down at her legs as she finally spoke up. " I'm sorry if I upset you. I really wanted to run and I knew you wouldn't want to. I knew if I made a bet with Lex and gave him something to fight for he would race me. I'm not sure if it was the drink or the beach I really just wanted to run and to swim then. I promise to not do so again if it upsets you. It's just been...." She paused as she tried to think how to phrase it. " I've been living my life like I'm forty. I've been working constantly and I haven't started to live. I'm young I should be enjoying my life. " She said as she looked out the window. " I have the rest of my life to work hard and put my nose to the grind stone. I'm only a child compared to my other peers. Most people my age are still in medical school Jesse. " She said softly.

" I could become admin and work until I'm old and gray but is that living? I wouldn't be able to spend time with you nor our family. I mean no more dates with Lex no more time with my sister and I would never see you nor my father. I worked my butt off to graduate early and to get in all the advance programs. But what would I have to show for it? I would have my oversize office and a empty heart and home. I would be single because no person would want to be second to a job like that. " She said softly. " If I died tomorrow I can't say I am really living or was before I met you. I think maybe it's time I step back and enjoy my life while I'm young. We aren't promised tomorrow. And I would rather spend my time enjoying each and every day. I would rather be happy and spend more time with you and our little family than in a job constantly working. That isn't a life. I don't want to party and get drunk. I just want to enjoy my life and find out who I am. I want to find my own freedom and happiness or try to. I almost lost you over something stupid I don't want to lose you over a stupid job. I also don't want to lose myself. I don't remember the last time I cooked for my dad or had a day with him. I don't remember the last time I laid out of work just to spend time with Faida either. I don't want to be dedicated to my job anymore. I want to be less strict on myself. If I want to still be a doctor I want to open my own practice and set my hours. If I want I want to wear rainbow pants and shirts in my office. I want to stop conforming and take the time to figure out who I am. I want to spend time with you and the others. I haven't really ever don't anything other than what I have always suppose to. "


She said as she smiled softly. " I'm not saying my life is bad at all. I'm blessed and I know it. You love your job and there is nothing wrong with it. But at least for me I would like to try something new and find out what I like and don't. I want to be a better sister and daughter and girlfriend. I always work and run dropping whatever I am doing for my job. There are other doctors that can do it. I don't want to be fifty yet. I'm still young and I want to enjoy myself." She said hoping that he would understand. " I don't plan on being stupid and just giving up on working. But I would like to find a balance some how. I would like to be a better me. I would rather be able to make you a meal and do something nice for you instead of always vanishing on you and our family. I would like for you not always waiting on me and me not showing up because something came up at work. You deserve better than that just like Faida, Lex, and my father does. "
