Radiance had stopped crying by now. However she still didn't like being in James company. He was a little confusing just like Jesse. " I'm sorry." She whispered as she finally got up and headed back inside. "Thank you but I'm going to bed. " She said as she walked into her room and locked the door behind her. She walked to her bed as she sat there and frowned trying to clear her mind. She sighed as she sat there she just wanted things to go back to the way they had been. She just wanted to go back to being with Jesse and being happy together. She looked up as she saw her cell phone across the room sitting on her dresser. She started at it wondering if she text Jesse. However what could she say.


The Sheriff was surprised hearing what Faida said as he looked at her. " You have a point my dear. However it's been ten years and in that time your sister has constantly avoided coming home. The only reason she is here now is because she was retired or fired take your pick of word. If you want her to stay then I'll let it be. And the reason she is where she is can be traced back to Jesse. She wont let him go when he let her go years ago. It's time for her to grow up Faida. Now we wont speak no more of this. This is your day and you deserve all of the attention. I am thrilled for you. And Lex has always tried his best to take care of you. We will talk later if you want on your sister. But I believe for now lets celebrate your good news. " He said meaning it.

Lex didn't know what to say as he looked at the Sheriff not sure if he should hug him or punch him. Jesse was his friend even if he was difficult most of the time. But Lex knew he wasn't easy to get along with himself. Lex kept quiet trying to keep his mouth shut not wanting to really make the man mad. Finally he spoke up seeing how upset Faida was. " You know Faida is right we all make mistakes. I believe you know Jesse still cares for your daughter. He has been through a lot and treating them like second rate isn't right. Now I believe it's time to go." He said as he saw James coming from the side of the house. " Great so you have him with you." He said as he sighed. " It's late we should all head out." He said as he looked over to Faida walking over to her kissing her forehead as he wrapped his arms around her. " We both has working the morning Sheriff. I think you owe both your daughters a apology and Jesse. But lets get going." He said as he let Faida go and headed outside glaring at James.

Lex drove home and sighed as he walked in to find Jesse cleaning his room. He was surprised to see that Jesse had touched his room. However Lex thought it better not to mention what the Sheriff had said as he walked to his room. He got himself ready for bed making sure he had his clothes set out for the next day. He had his phone by his bed if the girls needed him. He fell asleep tired from the stressful yet exciting day.

Faida sighed and gave up, there was no point arguing with her father. Looking at Lex, she kissed his cheek and smiled sadly. "I'll see you in the morning Soldier." she whispered and watched him leave. She looked over at James and at her father and frowned. "Why is he even here daddy? He has nothing to do here." she said quietly as she shook her head. "I don't want to fight daddy. I don't want any fighting on what is supposed to be the happiest day for me." Faida explained.

"Well I think you should ask him. But look if you really need a baby sitter I will try to work and babysit at the same time okay? Alright I'll see you then. Bye." Jesse hung up and looked around his room. He had made some progress thankfully. Still, he didn't find the book but he knew it was in his room somewhere. He needed to sleep though, buthe also needed to find that book so he continued to clean his room until he found the book. "There you are..." he said quietly and finished his coffee. Opening the book to where he and Radiance had left off, Jesse frowned and quickly put it away then got ready for bed.

Radiance stared at her phone across the room on her dresser as she thought about everything. She suddenly got up and snatched up her phone along with keys to her car. She couldn't think anymore and she couldn't stand to be here. She hurried down the stairs the best she could, slipping out the door quickly. James and her father had turned their backs to the front door ,blocked the kitchen door way. She hurried to her explorer and unlocked it quickly climbing in to it. Pain ran up her side as she hurried to start her car. She locked her doors as she backed out in a hurry not caring if anyone was coming or not. She needed to get out of here. She put her car in drive suddenly and hit the gas making her scream out in pain from the suddenly pain in her leg as she tried her best to keep control. She turned her music on and had it blasting so she didn't have to think. She tried not to laugh as the sky suddenly burst rain started to fall and the thunder rolled. It was as if the sky knew how she felt all at once. She managed to make it safely to Jesse's and turned over her car not caring if anyone saw it. She climbed out of the car only to hit the ground. She cursed the pain in her legs only getting worse from the new cuts she had thanks to her lovely fall. She hung her head wondering if her night could get any better. She forced her self to get up trying to not let the pain stop her. She looked down to her phone as saw her screen had cracked from the fall making her curse again.

Radiance wanted to scream and cry all at once as she locked her car and did her best to hobble to the front door. She knocked on the door. Suddenly her legs gave out and sent her to the ground. She sat there and just cried as she sat on her rear her legs curled up at her side as she wished she had drunk. At lest then it wouldn't matter. She hadn't done anything for this. She started to cry again just wanting Jesse's arms for it all to go away.

James turned his head as he saw a flash of rainbow as he put his hand on the Sheriffs shoulder. " Uh I think you've got a problem." He said as he heard a car start up outside. He ran to the door with the Sheriff as they watched the Explorer that had been there suddenly peel out of the drive way. James eyes widen as he looked to the Sheriff as he straighten out his tie. " I think you may have a problem. I suggest you handle this before the end of this week if you want my sponsor ship." James aid as he headed out into the heavy down pour to his own car and started it up heading of to his temporary home here.

The sheriff stared at the Explorer until he couldn't see the tail lights he was in shock not expecting this from Radiance. He wasn't sure what to do as he looked back to Faida. " W-What was all that about? I thought she couldn't move? " He said still in shock. The man was honestly unsure what he should do. He looked to Faida for help. " S-should I go after her?" He asked wondering if it would help or if he would just make it worse.

Jesse was getting comfortable in bed when he heard a knock on the door. Groaning, Jesse crawled out of bed and pulled on a jacket to hide his tattooed arm and walked out of his room. Jesse yawned and noticed it was raining outside as he looked out the window of his house. Opening his door, he didn't see anyone until he looked down and noticed rainbow hair. "Radiance?!" he gasped and knelt down to look at her. He could hear that she was crying. "Oh Radiance, what am I going to do with you?" Jesse asked and smiled. "You shouldn't be here, you should be at home resting..." he said and removed his jacket to place it on her instead to keep her warm. Carefully, Jesse picked her up in his arms and walked with her inside, closing the door with his foot and setting her down on the couch. without a word, he left and came back with some towels to dry her off. "Radiance what's wrong, why are you crying?" he asked quietly.

Faida shook her head, "Daddy she can move, it's just hard for her to move and painful I'm sure. I don't know why she's doing this, but if I know my sister she's at Jesse's house. Now I don't think going after her would be a smart idea but if you really want to go you can. I'm not one to tell my daddy what to do." Faida explained and smiled. "I am sure Jesse will take care of her or at least bring her back if he wants nothing to do with her." she commented.

Radiance smiled softly as she didn't bother to look up. She sat on the couch and when Jesse came back she wrapped her arms around his neck. She said nothing just wanting to stay that way for a little while. She rested her head against his chest as she kept her arms wrapped around his neck. She didn't care if it was right or wrong. She just wanted to be in his arms for while. She stayed like that for as long as he would let her. She finally calmed down as he rested against him nuzzling him softly as she sighed. She laughed softly as she took one of the towels starting to dry herself off and Jesse after laying on him. She was about to talk when she noticed his tattoo. She was surprised as she looked at it gently running her fingers along it. She smiled finding it very beautiful and started laughing again. " I wasn't expecting that. "She said softly as she smiled her eyes where puffy and her make up had been rune by the rain. She looked like racoon due to her eye liner being smeared when she used the towel to dry her face off.

" Oh this is lovely. Your perfect as always and I'm a mess." She said as she laughed and smiled as she looked up at him. " I'm sorry I just wanted it to be like old time just for a little while." She finally admitted as she looked down at her knees seeing the cuts trying to clean her knees and legs from her fall. " I'm tired of life constantly smacking me around. I'm tired of people's opinions and I'm tried of hating every day your not with me. " She said as she turned away from him resting against the couch as she tried to clean herself up. " Ten years and I'm still stupid. I went around the world been to amazing places. Met wonderful people. Did good things. Had really great guys who wanted to make me happy. But I screwed it all up constantly. " She said as she laughed thinking about the past ten years. " I just wanted to be in your arms and to wake up and the past ten years just to be a nightmare. " She finally admitted as she felt tears trying to come again. " I'm just a screw up and will never be perfect like Faida with Lex. Just ask my father. I'm a disappointment. " She admitted as she laughed softly trying not to cry. " And the funny thing is maybe he's right. He said we weren't good for one another and that I've been spiraling out of control since the day you didn't want me anymore. The sad thing is I've done everything trying to figure out what I don't wrong. Because the only person I have ever loved was the person who didn't want me. And here I am pathdic still wanting to be in your arms." She said as she shook her head hearing how sad she sounded. " God I'm so messed up. Maybe things would have been better if they had...." She went quiet as she sat there and looked at her torn clothing and new wounds. The pain having been pushed from her mind as it started to come back.


"Ok I think I'll go home." The sheriff said as he looked to Faida. " I think I might have caused some trouble I'm sorry. I've ruined your day. I will have to try and make it up to you." The old man said as he turned and left heading to his own home thinking on what he should do or what he could.

Faida smiled sadly. "Don't worry daddy, she'll come around. She just needs some space. I'll try to call her tomorrow if she's still not home by then." she said and nodded, waving as he left. When he was gone, Faida sighed softly and locked the door then headed up to her room to try and sleep. Hopefully Radiance was okay, hopefully Jesse was taking care of her.

Jesse blushed when her arms wrapped around his neck. It was nice, to feel her arms around him again. He thought that after ten years he wouldn't care about her anymore but he was wrong. He still cared about her so much it hurt. It hurt that he couldn't tell her this because it was too soon and because she deserved better. Jesse wrapped his arms around her though, holding her and just letting her cry if she needed to. "You shouldn't be crying Radiant..." he whispered and started to play with her lovely rainbow hair. What the heck happened to them? They used to be so happy and now they were reduced to this. People who weren't happy without one another but they couldn't find a way to be together because he was stupid. Jesse smiled when her fingers gently ran along his tattoo, the one he had forgotten about. "I was going to show everyone but then the sweet proposal happened and I didn't want to take from it." Jesse explained. He carefully helped her wipe off the makeup that had been ruined by both her tears and the rain.

"You're an emotional mess for some reason but you're still lovely in my eyes Radiant." Jesse admitted and smiled warmly at her. Radiance had obviously drove herself here which wasn't smart in her condition and he wasn't going to let her drive back, and it was too late anyway. He knew Faida was probably sleeping now so Radiance had to sleep here with him for the night, he'd have to finish cleaning his room which wouldn't be too hard since he was practically done. He just had a few books to put away. "I understand, and there's nothing wrong with that..." he started and looked down at her knees and saw the cuts. He didn't say anything though, instead he sat with her and pulled her onto his lap as he listened to her vent. When she finished, Jesse frowned. "You're not stupid. I'm the stupid one who screwed it all up. You deserve someone so much better than me. Ten years ago I let you go because I was stupid and thought I knew what was best for you. I thought you would be happy taking that job. I just wanted to see you smile, that's all I ever want...to make you happy and sadly I never was able to do that. I only made you sad, made you cry..." Jesse whispered.

He was upset that her father would say she was a failure. No parent should ever say that to their child. "You are not a disappointment, you've done so much. You've been a great success in my eyes, not sure if that means anything but I'm being honest. He's wrong, don't go thinking he's right." Jesse said seriously and gently wiped away her tears. "I don't care if your father hates me. I like you...a lot. Even that day ten years ago I still loved you and if I have to be honest, I never stopped loving you. I thought that I would forget about you eventually, that my feelings for you would die out but they haven't. If anything they were sleeping and when I saw you again they woke up. I know it's stupid and I'm not asking for you to take me back or anything because I do think you deserve better. However, I don't like the idea of letting your father win." Jesse explained honestly. He kept his arms wrapped around her and kissed her cheek softly. "You're not pathetic, you're not a screw up, you're not messed up, you're not a disappointment, you're not stupid. You are perfect, and if your father can't see that, then he's the stupid one and I'm sorry. I don't want to be rude but I'm not going to just sit here and let you think that he's right about what he said about you. Radiant, you are amazing, beautiful, have a heart of gold and a fighter. No matter what, you never give up and that's something that's hard to find in people." Jesse explained quietly and nuzzled her cheek. "I've missed you...so much." he whispered.

Radiance blushed suddenly as everything Jesse said started to sink in. She found herself starting to smile hearing his sweet words and hearing him say that he missed her and did still care for her. She smirked softly as she nuzzled him back softly before learning up and kissing the side of his cheek. She smiled softly at him softly caressing his cheek. " Well your not stupid and it's sweet you wanted to try and make me happy Jesse. However your wrong about yourself you always have been. You aggravating man, you have always made me happy just the way you have been. No one is perfect we all have flaws. What matters is if someone can love you flaws and all. It wouldn't matter how much time has past you would still be the one I love or what you did. Besides the heart want what it want. It doesn't listen to reason or to logic. Your heart listens to its self only. And mine has always wanted you." She said at a whisper as she wrapped her arms around him again resting her head against his chest.

" I thought after that day you hated me. That's why I stayed away. I thought that you didn't feel the same way I did. I meant it when I said I loved you. I still mean it to this day. I have traveled the world and there is still no other man I have ever loved more than you. I broke Elise heart because I wouldn't love him. Elise lost it after my last assignment and after everything that happen the only person I called for was you instead of him. He was rightfully upset we had traveled together and spent so much time together. I hadn't realized he had fallen in love with me. But I thought we had both agreed to be just friends. He tried to comfort me and when I woke up after the surgery I thought he was you. Until the drugs wore off and I couldn't help but just cry. That's what shattered his heart. I am sorry I broke such a good man's heart but I never wanted it. The only heart I ever wanted was yours. Elise hasn't spoken to me since. I don't think it helped when he found the ten years worth of letters I had written to you then either. Or the things I had bought for you. That's what Lex was talking about. I broke his friends heart. So I tried to make up for it by putting Elise back together with his old flame. " She said as she softly nuzzled Jesse again thankful to just be in his arms again. " Because he was a good man and I was a mess. I couldn't love him and in all honestly he couldn't love me the way I deserve to be loved either. Because his heart still belonged to the one that broke it. However I'm glad to say they have worked it out. I think he has forgiven me and understands now how I felt. " She said softly as she smiled softly.

" Your wrong Jesse you have always made me happy and your the one that I deserve because you love me like no one else dose. I should have fought with you and tried harder. And I'm sorry for that. But I was afraid that if I did it would only push you further from me. And so you know your still the most handsome guy I've ever seen." She said softly as she rested in his lap and arms.

Lex had been woken by sounds in the house. He pulled out his gun out of habit as he approached his door. He slowly open it making sure not to make a sound as he peered out holding his gun up ready to move suddenly if he needed to away from the wall he was up against as he slowly and carefully peered out. To his surprise he saw Jesse with Radiance. He stood there and ease dropped a bit as he smiled putting his gun away. He grinned as he slowly shut the door and locked it. He put his gun away getting dressed again. He dressed himself as if he was going to work as he picked up his phone and turned looking at his window. " The things I do for the people I love." He said as he sighed and open his window and slipped out of it. He shut it from the outside as he climbed into his own truck. He started it up having a feeling that with how the rain was pouring Jesse and Radiance wouldn't hear it. He pulled out his cell phone as he called Faida placing it in it's holder so he could drive without trying to hold it. He had a feeling that his Queen would want to vent a little and he honestly just wanted to hold her for a little while. He had become spoiled by her and honestly just missed her.

Jesse listened to her and traced her jawline with his fingertip. There was chemistry there, theyhave always had chemistry. They have always had that little spark between them, it never went away. Even after all this time it was still there and anyone that saw them would see how happy they were together even though they weren't really together right now. "Well I think you're perfect, Radiant. You always have been. I was the one always messing up our relationships." Jesse reminded. "True, logic comes from the brain...but the brain and heart are always at odds with each other..." Jesse said quietly. Jesse kissed the top of her head, she smelled of rain, it was nice. Smiling, he held her there on his lap and let her rest. She was probably very tired and needed all the rest she could get.

"You love me?" Jesse asked and smiled sadly. "Even after all that has happened between us?" he asked and kissed her shoulder, sighing softly. "You shouldn't feel bad about that. He fell in love with a beautiful lady, and you shouldn't blame yourself for not loving him back. Like you said, the heart wants what it wants." Jesse said. He was surprised when she mentioned letters and gifts she had for him since that day ten years ago. He felt horrible hearing this, like a real jerk.

Jesse didn't say anything, he didn't know what to say. All he wanted to do was kiss her but he couldn't bring himself to do that. All he could do was hold her. "I'm sorry fro being the jerk I am.." he whispered with a frown. Maybe his brother was right, maybe he really was stupid.

Faida was starting to fall to sleep when she heard her phone ring. Yawning, she sat up in her bed, her hair a mess and her eyes looking very tired. Turning to her phone, she answered it. "Hello?" she asked in a soft voice that was barley above a whisper.

Radiance was surprised as she felt him trace her jaw line softly. He kept surprising her with the kiss on her here and then her shoulder. She looked up at him as she heard him and smiled softly at him. " Your not a jerk Jesse. " She said as she softly leaned up and kissed the tip of you nose as she smiled. She softly caressed his face as she smiled up at him. " You where will to protect me from your brother tonight and you where trying to be nice even though I'm sure it was hard for you to be there tonight. You also was kind enough not to send me away. Instead you picked me and just let me cry on you. That's not a jerk and it isn't a stupid person. If anything it's a amazing person and a great friend. It's also what love looks like sometimes. Sometimes love has bumps and humps that people have to get through. Your not stupid and never have been to me. I wouldn't care what you did I would still love you. And yes I love you. That fact never changed. If anything being away made me care about you more. You where always kind and tried to think of others. There are girls out there who would die to have a guy that would just think about them. No every guy can buy the world for the person they love. But all a girl really wants is their time, their passion, their love, their effort, their honesty, their loyalty, smile, and for them to make her his priority. " She said softly as she nuzzled him. She looked back into his eyes as she smiled softly. " In those areas you have always succeeded. " She said as she kissed you softly and blushed as she let the kiss fade and looked down at the couch. " To many people forget that it's the thought that matters. Not every guy can save a girl from a burning house. To some guys just talking to a girl is hard for them. People forget the struggles that people have. We aren't all the same strength so what matters is that the other person tries. You'll never be a Elise nor a James and that's fine with me. I'd rather just have a Jesse. You have always been so sweet and thoughtful.

Lex smiled as he heard Faida. " Hey my Queen, it's me I am going to come over if it's alright. Princess is with Jesse she made it safe. I thought it would be better to give them some alone time. I was hoping I could come over and spend the night with you. I'm sorry your sound so tired." He said feeling bad for calling now.

Faida listened to Lex tiredly. He was coming over, so she had to get out of bed and wait for him. She didn't think she would be sleeping tonight, but at least she wouldn't be alone anymore. At least her sister was safe. "Okay Lex, I'll wait for you. Did you want anything? I could make you something for when you arrive." Faida commented as she crawled out of bed and smoothed out her nightgown before making her way to the kitchen barefoot.

"Well I feel like a jerk because I hurt you so much. I made you cry, a boyfriend isn't supposed to make his girlfriend cry." Jesse explained and nuzzled her cheek. Of course he was going to stand up for her to anyone, it didn't matter who. "I..." he started and frowned. "It's hard to be nice when you're not even happy but just because you're having a bad day doesn't mean everyone else around you should have a bad day too." Jesse explained quietly. He was sure that Lex was sleeping right now and he didn't want to wake him up. "Why would I send you away Radiance?" he whispered and pressed his forehead against hers gently, looking into her eyes lovingly. Even though it was dark in the house right now, he could see those beautiful eyes clearly. What she said was true though, he always thought of others..well he used to. During those ten years he only thought about himself. He was done being pushed around, being manipulated into being something they wanted him to be. He was his own person and would do whatever he wanted...he thought so anyway. But when he saw Radiance, he couldn't do what he wanted. He couldn't run away and hide, he couldn't pretend he didn't care about her...he couldn't lie.

Jesse smiled at her, running his fingers through her hair softly and kissing her back tenderly. "I don't plan on being anyone but me Radiance." he whispered when the kiss faded. Jesse gently cupped her chin and lifted her face so that she was looking at him. "I'm always going to be Jesse, the same Jesse you first met in the dinner all those years ago. I know I don't look like him and I know I don't behave like him anymore...and I'm sorry. But...I still love sweets, I still hate sushi, my relationship with my family is still horrible and I still..." Jesse stopped and frowned. "I still love you too." he whispered. "I probably acted out of line when I stood up to James when he kissed your hand but...but I cannot stand seeing him try to take you away from me. I know we're not dating anymore, but I still can't just let you go. I thought I'd be able to but I can't Radiance." Jesse admitted.

Radiance froze as her heard pounded hearing everything Jesse said. She could see it was hard for him and blushed as she just held him wrapping her arms around his neck as she placed her forehead to his. She smiled softly hearing the words she had wanted to hear for so long. She just sat there with him not sure really what to say. She knew what she wanted to say to him however she was afraid it would be to soon. She softly kissed his fore head as she smiled softly at him. It took her a while but she finally spoke up. " I wish you wouldn't frown like that it make me sad because I want to make you smile. I might be wrong and it may be to soon but Jesse I've always been your girl and always will. So if you want you don't have to say we aren't dating anymore. If hearing such words scare you then why can't we just tell people that we love each other and leave it at that. " She said softly as she kissed him again softly.

Lex smiled as he heard Faida. " No other than just you. I'll be there shortly. Hey beautiful I love you." He said softly as he kept his eyes on the road. The rain was still pouring the last time he has seen rain this bad was when the girls where angels. " My Queen I'm going to let you go. I'm just a few moments away." He said as he turned the phone off and kept driving. He pulled into her driveway after a little while and parked his truck. He got out as he walked to the door and knocked on it. " My Queen it's me." He said wanting to make sure she knew it was him and wouldn't be worried.

Jesse looked at Radiance, he was a little tired but right now he didn't even want to sleep. He just wanted to spend as much time with Radiance as he could. "You and I have a connection, a connection that I cannot have with anyone else and that I don't want to have with anyone else only with you." Jesse explained. "I'm not frowning because you make me sad, I frown because I'm upset with myself." he answered. "You could never upset me Radiant." he whispered and gently reached up to caress her cheek gently with his hand. "I'm just afraid of saying or doing something stupid that will send you away from me again. I don't like losing you but it seems that's all I do." Jesse answered her quietly but kissed her back tenderly. He missed her so much, he missed this, just being able to talk to her and hold her like this.

Faida blinked "Oh...okay then." she said and smiled. "I love you too, Soldier." she whispered and nodded. "See you soon." she said and hung up. Sighing tiredly, she made herself some tea and sat at the kitchen table in the dark while waiting for him. When she heard the knock on the door, she frowned but smiled hearing it was Lex. "Just a moment!" she called out and left to grab some towels in case he needed to dry off then opened the front door and smiled at him. "Hello again." she whispered and gently pulled him into the house, hugging him not caring if she got wet. "I love you." she whispered.

Radiance stared at him as she softly caressed his face. " I think we both can use some sleep and we'll figure this all out together. If your worried about that then I can promise not to leave no matter what you do and to fight for you. Because right here is home to me and being with you is when I'm my happiness. I don't like the me without you. " She said as she kissed him lovingly before nuzzling him just resting against him enjoying being close to him again. She closed her eyes as she rested against him loving being like this with him again. She loved his sent and just being in his arms. It made a lovely smile appear on her lips as she rested there with him.




Lex was surprised as he hugged Faida back happily and kissed her lovingly. He smiled as he held her close to him. " Well hello to you beautiful. I could get use to be greeting like this from you." He said softly with a slight grin on his lips. He kissed her fore head as he saw the towels and took one drying her off first before drying himself off. He kissed her again as he smiled. " I love you as well Faida." He said softly to her caressing her face softly. He frowned a little seeing how tired she was. " Come on lets get you to bed. I'll put my clothes over your shower rail to dry and the towels. " He said as he looked a little worried seeing how tired she looked. " I haven't seen you this tired since our last trip to Italy. I promise to change into my sleep shorts I have here." He said as he kissed her one more time. He gently picked her up and carried her up the stairs to her bed room gently putting her down on her bed. He walked to the bathroom and put the towels up to dry. He popped out of the bathroom long enough to open the stacked drawers beside the bathroom door pulling out his sleep shorts. He then hung up his clothes to dry coming out with his shorts on as he pulled back the covers and climbed in bed wrapping his arms around Faida pulling her to him. He held her against him as he smiled enjoying having her so close. He softly rubbed her back as he smiled happy to just be back with her. " I figured you might like not having to be alone. " He said softly as he kissed the back of her neck and smiled softly. " Now come on my Queen lets get some sleep. You apparently need it. And unless your going to make me call off in the morning I need some rest for work tomorrow." He said as he chuckled thinking about work.

"Mmm...I don't want to sleep..." Jesse whispered. "I do think you need sleep though. You are hurt and need to rest in order to get better. I still cannot believe you put yourself in danger just to see me. I should be flattered but I'm not. You could have gotten hurt, I'm just glad that you seem to be okay." Jesse said, his hands running up and down her sides gently now. "I don't like me without you either." Jesse admitted and smiled at her and kissed her lips lovingly. He was the one that was messed up and a screw up...but maybe they could be that together. When the kiss faded, Jesse picked her up in his arms and made sure the towel was wrapped around her as he made his way to his room. She had never seen his room before and now she'd bee seeing it for the first time. It was pretty clean, a few books staked in the corner but that was it. "Sorry it's a mess." he whispered with a frown. "This is what happens when I don't have you." he explained quietly.

Faida giggled and kissed him back. "Well maybe you will be greeted like this every time you visit Soldier." she hinted softly. Her golden hair was a mess but it was to be expected after trying to fall to sleep. She leaned into his hand and smiled softly. "Yes I'm rather tired but it's okay. I'm just happy to see you again." Faida whispered and nodded, she didn't want to upset Lex and she was very sleepy. She remembered how tired she had been on their trip to Italy, it was worth it though. Wrapping her arms around his neck, Faida relaxed in his arms as he carried her up to her room and lay down in her bed when he set her down. Faida snuggled close to Lex and draped an arm across his chest and looked at him happily. "Yeah, I am, I was getting lonely." she whispered as she snuggled close to Lex. "Oh yes work, I forgot about that. You'll be working really late won't you?" she asked quietly.

Radiance was surprised hearing him as she frowned a little hearing what he said. She was more upset with herself he had a point. She looked up as she realized he had stopped rubbing her sides and had picked her up again. She blushed as she saw his room for the first time. It looked in order for the most part other than a few books. She looked up at him giving him a soft smile. She then hung her head thinking about what he said. " I'm sorry, I was so upset I really couldn't think straight. I was going to call but I was afraid I'd lose my nerve. I was also afraid my father was going to treat me like a child and take me away or have your brother to do it. If your not going to sleep then I want either . But you need it for work. I'm sorry I was very selfish wasn't I. I wasn't thinking about your needs. I was just thinking about myself and how much I wanted and needed you. Your the only person that can make everything go away with your look, your touch, and your voice. I-.....it wont happen again I will try and think ahead I promise. But I am happy to be with you again." She said softly.

Lex smiled as he hugged her and smiled. " Well that depends on what my Boss Lady says who happens to be my Queen." He said as he brushed some of her beautiful blond hairs from her face holding her close to him still. " If you don't want me to go in I want. Besides as I told you before. If you want I'll quiet as a cop and help you make that business of yours and I can do furniture on the side. Besides you come first. I'm pretty sure we have enough men to handle the town if you want me to take the day off or to do a half a day. " He said as he smiled kissing her softly." Besides it's a benefit to working in a small town. "

"Please don't be sorry. I'm happy you came to see me, really I am. It's nice to see you again even if it's not under the best of circumstances. So your father hates me and doesn't want you to see me again? Well something tells me you're not going to listen to him." Jesse said with a smirk. He crawled into the bed and held Radiance close to him and being careful not to hurt her. "So you really want and need me huh?" he asked and chuckled. "You're still as sweet as ever." Jesse whispered and nuzzled her cheek softly. "I don't mind if you come visit me again, I'm always happy to see you. You know I'll always be happy to see you." he said softly and thought for a moment. "Just out of curiosity, do my kisses still drive you crazy?" he asked.

Faida listened and shook her head. "Please don't do that Lex. You need to work, I can't keep you away from that. It's important." she answered and frowned. Did he really want to quit his job just for her? "N-no you can't do that Lex. You love your job. I'd feel terrible if you quit just because of me. I know you mean well and I'm flattered really I am but please don't quit your job just for me.. You love that job, you're always so happy when you talk about your job." Faida commented and kissed him back softly. "If you're no longer happy there then you shouldn't be there anymore though." she added.

Radiance blushed brightly as he crawled into his bed with her. She wasn't sure she really wanted to answer the question. She had become a little suspicious of his intent by the questions he was asking. She felt nervous and not sure she was safe from him at the moment. Her heart pouted in her chest as she stared at him trying to decided if she should tell him or not. " uh.....Yes...? " She said nervously as she blushed even brighter as she heard him. " I always need you your my Kia." She said softly as she kissed his cheek softly.

Lex laughed as he shook his head. He then looked at her. " Ok my Queen. Then lets get some sleep. "He said as he kissed her lovingly and held her still as he closed his eyes happy to have her in his arms. He fell asleep rather easy thanks to Faida being beside him.

Jesse could tell how nervous she was and laughed softly. "Sorry, I did not mean to make you so nervous Radiance." he answered and pulled the blanket closer to keep them warm. "Get some sleep okay?" he suggested and kissed her cheek before closing her eyes, "Goodnight Radiance, sweet dreams." he whispered and before long he was fast asleep beside her.

Faida nodded and kissed him back sweetly. "Goodnight my King, I will see you in the morning." she said and smoothed out his hair as he slept before getting comfortable herself. Once comfortable, Faida had no problem falling to sleep in his arms. She was happy to know she wasn't alone right now, at least he was here to keep her company.

Radiance smiled and blushed brightly still as she kissed him softly. She cuddled up to him loving how warm the blanket was. She was about to wish him a good night and tell him that she loved him. Suddenly she found herself asleep and loving how warm and soft the bed was. She smiled in her sleep curled up to Jesse happy as could be. She was so happy and felt at peace. Her dreams for the first time where of Jesse and not full of nightmares.

Faida slept through the entire night peacefully while resting her head on Lex's chest, her arm rested across his chest near her face. When she woke up, Faida looked at Lex who was sleeping peacefully and smiled. Carefully and quietly, making sure she didn't make a sound Faida crawled out of bed and walked to the kitchen where she started to make some coffee and breakfast for Lex. He would need to eat something before work.

The following morning, Jesse woke up very early to get ready for work and then finished cleaning his room while Radiance continued to sleep. He knew that she was probably hungry so he was going to have to go and make her some breakfast before he headed out to work. Although, he wasn't sure how he was going to look after her, babysit, and work all at the same time. It was going to be hard but he'd tough through it. Heading to the kitchen, Jesse started to work on some breakfast for himself and for her.

Radiance slowly woke as she noticed that Jesse wasn't there. " Kia?" She called out sleepily as she slowly sat up. She blushed as she saw she was in Jesse's room. She hadn't been sure if last night had been a nightmare or dream. She looked down at her legs and frowned as she felt pain from trying to move from the bed to her feet. She saw her knees and knew that last night had happen. She closed her eyes as she forced herself to get her legs over the side of the bed. She had hurt herself more than she expected last night. She slowly stood cursing softly from the pain as she used the wall to help her walk out of Jesse's room. She looked around holding onto his door frame for him. Slowly she made her way to the couch as she took a seat there and sighed as she thought about everything. She saw her phone on the couch beside her seeing it was still shattered. She frowned as she held it knowing that she had promised her sister to help her this morning. She looked around wondering if her cane was still outside on the front porch.

Radiance was sure she looked like death warmed over this morning. She felt like a truck had ran over her a few times. She sighed as she tried to turn her phone on praying she could get it to work for a phone call. However her phone was past usable. She shook her head as she placed it on the coffee table.


Lex slept great as he was suddenly scared awake by the sound of his phone alarm going off. He cursed as he hit the floor from having jumped off the bed still wrapped in the covers. He held his head as he finally open his eyes and looked around remembering where he was. He sighed knowing today was going to be a rough day already. He slowly got up as he turned the phone off and made Faida's bed. He walked to the bathroom and quickly got dressed folding his sleep shorts back placing them back in his drawer. He fixed his hair as best as he could as he hurried down the stairs seeing the time. He smiled smelling the smells coming from the kitchen as he hurried to it. He laughed as he saw Faida and ran up to her hugging her and kissing her softly. " Good Morning beautiful!" He said as he smiled at her. "And what is my lovely Queen up to? I thought you would be sleeping. You didn't get much sleep. " He said to her a little worried.

As Jesse worked on the breakfast, he thought he heard movement and raised an eyebrow curiously as he listened for more noise while cooking. There it was again, it was coming from his room and getting closer to the living room. He knew it had to be Radiance. "Radiance you shouldn't be moving around so much.." he started but shut his mouth after remembering what she had said, about not wanting to feel like a burden. That she was able to do things herself. Well he just hoped she didn't push herself too far. Finishing the breakfast, he served it on two plates and set the plates down on the table. Jesse walked over to the living room and approached her, "Breakfast is ready." he said quietly and picked up her busted phone from the coffee table. "Jeez, what did you do to it?" he asked and smirked. "You were obviously pretty upset to kill your phone like this." he commented.

Faida heard something hit the floor up in her room and laughed softly. "Oh dear..." she whispered and shook her head as she poured the coffee in two different mugs. A plain one for him and a Flower one for her. She didn't think he'd like to drink out of a flower mug. Faida always had a love for flowers of any kind. Faida blushed and kissed him back, "Good morning Soldier!" she said happily and looked down at the breakfast she was now serving. "I woke up early to make you coffee and breakfast and I wanted to join you. I know you have to go to work really soon so I hope I don't make you late." she said worriedly.

Radiance put on a laughed as she heard him. " I fell out of the car and I'm not sure really where my cane is. I pushed myself a little to much last night in my rush to get away from my father and that brother of yours. I was going to call Faida. I had promised to help her his morning with her wedding planning. I'm not sure however if I really want to go back to the house. I'm afraid your brother or my father will be there at some point and try to make me leave with them. However I don't want to be a burden to you either. " She said softly as she looked at the coffee table for a short while before talking again. " I'll have to add that to my list of things to buy. Thank you for last night Kia. " She said softly not daring to look up at him as she sat there. " If you want I'll head out to my car and leave so you can have your house back. I know you like things a certain way and it bothers you if they aren't that way." She said still not sure where Jesse was on the topic of them. She dreaded having to walk far but it was her own fault so she would deal with the consciousnesses. However she smirked again thinking about his comment about her phone and then blushed thinking about last night. Her blush grew brighter the more she thought about last night.

Lex smiled as he saw her flower mug and the plan mug she had for him. " You my Queen are very thoughtful. And you know if you want more flower mugs I'm find drinking from them. They make you happy. And if your happy I'm happy. " He said being honest with her as he saw the spread of food she had made. " You really are amazing and I'm very lucky to have someone as amazing and caring as you. I would enjoy having breakfast with you. I don't know a man alive who wouldn't honestly. " He said as he smiled and took his mug and walked to the table pulling out Faida's seat for her.

Jesse frowned when he heard this, she had hurt herself a lot more than he thought. "I understand.." he said and knelt in front of her to look at her and caressed her cheek softly. "You could have broken something you know, rushing here like you did last night. I know you want to get away but you need to be careful." he said and looked around. "Your cane is probably outside, I'll go get it for you." he said to her and stood up then walked outside and looked around for her cane. When he found it, Jesse picked it up and walked inside the house again and walked over to where Radiance sat, handing the cane over to here. "Here you go." he said quietly. "If you're so afraid, then come with me to work that way you don't have to be there. I can call Faida or Lex and let them know that I'll be dropping you after work. Besides, little Ellie will be there and I'm sure you'd be happy to see her again." Jesse informed honestly. Seeing her blush, he smirked and wondered what she was thinking about.

Faida listened to Lex and giggled. "Well perhaps you are but I know you would prefer not to." she said to him and kissed his cheek. "I'll leave some mugs here for my sister when we get our own house. She deserves this house after all she's been through and I know she loves it. Besides, I want her to be close to Jesse..." she said quietly. "Hmm?" she started and smiled. "I wasn't sure what you preferred to eat so I made a bit of everything." she said and blushed at his compliment. "Thank-you." she said as she took her seat.

Radiance smiled and took the cane. " Thank you for everything. " She said as she looked up at him hearing what he said. " Really? I would like that I would love to see her. That is if it's not going to be a problem." She said smiling at him. " I promise to try not to do anything else so reckless I promise. Thank you very much." She said softly her cheeks still a little red. " Why did you ask if your kisses still drove me wild last night?" She finally asked wondering if her fear had been merited.


Lex looked to Faida as he thought for a moment making sure he scooted her chair in for her. He took his seat as he looked to her for a moment. " You know what if you sister doesn't want this house. If last night was a indication I'm thinking that maybe we should ask Jesse and her if she wants to move into my room there and I can move in to here that is if you are ok with that. Those two looked like nothing had changed last night together. I honestly feel that maybe Jesse would be happier that way and we wouldn't have to worry about his brother. It's just a thought is all." Lex said as he said his prayer and then started to enjoy the wonderful meal she made. " This is wonderful!" He said enjoying each and every bite.
