Faida walked with Radiance into the library and looked around at the various books. "Oh dear, so many books! The scent is wonderful!" Faida stated happily as she looked over at Radiance. "I believe we will learn very helpful things Radiance. Anything read will be helpful to us in this village." She started then thought for a bit. "What did the man mean when he said we needed to learn before our next outing? Did we do something wrong?" Faida asked curiously. She personally didn't think they did anything wrong, but if they did she would make sure not to do so again. She snapped out of her thoughts when she heard Radiance speak and nodded, "Yes, that sounds like a good plan." She replied and looked over at the books that Radiance had picked out for them to read.
Jesse was not surprised at the male's kindness but still smiled. It was very kind of him to offer to help with chores. "Very well then sir, it's kind of you to offer to help. Are there any course in particular you prefer not to do?" He asked and shrugged at his question. "Well I never really had a reason to take a day off." He admitted and scratched the back of his head. "You make a good point though sir. I think I'll head home early even though I only have around three hours or so left of work, but I really think I should show you the room as soon as possible before I forget." Jesse confessed and laughed softly. |
"We did nothing wrong he worries about us since we don't know much about the new world is all. He just doesn't want us in trouble." Radiance said as she smiled softly to Faida. Radiance went back to her book as she tried to learn as much as she could. "So many years have past. So many new things yet so many things that are the same." She said softly as she flipped through the pages skimming the pages learning as she went.
"Really?" Lex asked Jesse as he looked at him arching a brow. "So you really are up to leaving early? I just met you but that seems like it's out of your character. " He said as he smiled and finished with his drink. " Well I would like to check out the room and I guess tomorrow I'll have to find a place to pick up some supplies. Should I get groceries and cleaners I mean if the room works out? I have to pick up clothes and other things I'm sure." He said trying to think ahead. |
Faida nodded once she understood and opened one of the many books that Radiance had picked out. It was always fascinating to learn new things, and she wondered what sort of life they would live here. So far the people!e seemed friendly so that was good. I wonder if the people who wrote these books, wrote them out of personal experience. Faida thought to herself as she turned the pages carefully while reading silently to herself. Reading was always fun for her, she didn't understand why some people just didn't like reading. "So many years, and yet it all looks the same, just more populated I suppose." She said softly.
"Well to be honest, I've never left early before." Jesse admitted. Yes it was out of his character, but the worst Nancy could do was say no. He did do more work that he was supposed to, but he couldn't just sit back and let the mess accumulate. He loved clean spaces, and if there was any mess, he made sure to get rid of it. Even if tables were clean, he liked to look them over just in case. Listening to what the male said, his face brightened up at the thought of more cleaning supplies in his house. "No need to worry about all that right now sir. First well go show you the room and if you like it, then we'll focus on getting you all settled in. Once that's done, we can talk about household stuff like chores and such." Jesse explained softly. |
Radiance looked up after a while and smiled as she watch Fadia. " It looks like the technology is mostly what had changed and your right the population. I wonder if we will see some of the things we have read. I know some of the people bring their computers when they come to visit and show me different things on it. However I don't understand the cell phones. To many use the texting as a excuse to not talk to one another. It's quiet sad honestly. I miss letters and people talking to one another." Raidance said before going back to her books.
Lex nodded as he heard Jesse. "Well when your ready let me know. If you don't have a car we can take my bike. " He offered as he sat back and smiled softly. "This place is really strange. However I'm sure after a while I'll get use to it. " He said as he looked around at the different faces he saw in the place. "I wonder what the police station is going to look like." He said wondering if it was going to be a hole in the wall. He wondered if they even had jail sales or what kind of training they had for their officers. "Oh yea, what did the strange girl mean about the shrine or temple?" Lex asked as he remembered her telling the one lady to come and she would get paid to help clean the floors. " Looks like we might have to do some digging into those to girls." He said more to himself wondering what their stories where. |
"We may be lucky and see things we are fairly familiar with." Faida started and smiled back at Radiance. "Cellphones? I have not heard of these phones you mentioned. They must be useful in some way if so many people are using though no?" Faida commented and raised a perfect brow. I wonder what these phones of the cell look like? If humans love them then they must be rather interesting. I will have to look at one of these phones someday. She thought to herself. "I enjoy writing letters. Well I used to anyway. I have no one to write letters to anymore." She said softly with a small frown on her face before turning her attention back to the book in her hands and continued reading quietly.
"I'll just ask my boss for permission, I'm sure she'll understand as long as I don't make it a habit." Jesse explained and listened to the male's question. "Well, at the top of a mountain I know that there is a shrine where many people go to when they're sick. It has been said that when they go, they become healed somehow. I don't know how though. I personally have never been to the shrine, but I have heard people talk about it while they eat here. It's interesting what stories you hear while working here." Jesse replied with a grin as he fixed his glasses. He nodded in agreement to what the male said and stood up. "Yes, let's just hope they actually want to talk to us if we plan to do that sir." he commented before excusing himself and taking his things to the kitchen, then stepped back out and walked to where Nancy was giving a costumer his change. When she was done she turned to Jesse and smiled, "Yes?" she asked. "Hey Nancy, you look very nice today you know." he said and slapped himself mentally. Nice one dude... he thought to himself. "What is it you need Jesse?" Nancy asked and raised an eyebrow, a smirk on her face. "I was wondering if I could head home early to show the man the room and see if he's interesting in being my roommate." he explained. Nancy was surprised by his request but looked around the cafe. "You kept it clean, impressive. I don't usually do this, but we go back so I'll make an exception. Don't ask for this all the time though. Only for emergencies." she said seriously before a smile found its way onto her lips. "Thanks so much Nancy, I'll make it up to you tomorrow." Jesse said and bowed his head before walking over to the male. "We can go now sir." he said easily. |
"I think you could write to the red haired man you had eating out of your palm today at the cafe. He seemed rather taken with you." Radiance said with a smile as she laughed at the thought of Lex. " You really seemed to attract him." Radiance said as she flipped through one of the books and put the book down near Faida. "There you are, here is a cell phone and this page is devoted to them and explains about them. I believe they call these strange books Encyclopedias. They are full of wonderful and strange things." Radiance said as she smiled to Faida. "Besides I believe you have netting with your red hair male in the morning yes?" She said as she smiled happy that Faida seemed to be getting along very well.
Lex watched as Jesse left. He was surprised as Jesse came back a short while later. "Alright." Lex said as he stood and started for the door. He walked out of the door as he looked around not seeing a sign of the storm or the strange fog he had seen earlier in the day. He slowly made his way around to his bike and climbed on. He pulled out another helmet from the side of his side bags wanting to keep him and Jesse safe if Jesse still wanted to ride with him. |
"I do not think Lex would want to write letters. He would prefer the cellphone like everyone else." Faida replied softly and put her book down to stare at Radiance with a small smile on her face. "He was a kind man, that is correct. Still, I do not think he would want to write to me. We are not even friends yet you know." she explained and looked down at the book Radiance had opened for her. "Cellphones...interesting. They look rather small. I was expecting them to be bugger but then it would not be possible for humans too take them everywhere." Faida said as she read the page carefully. They seemed very helpful, so it was no wonder that every human had one with them. "Encyclopedias..." she repeated and smiled. This was all very interesting and she was very excited to keep learning about all the new things. "A meeting?" she repeated and nodded. "I do. I wonder what he will talk about?" she asked and smiled at Radiance.
Jesse followed the male out the front door after waving to Nancy and looked over at the male's bike. It looked really nice, but intimidating which he guessed was a good thing, him being a cop and all. "Very nice bike sir. How long have you had it?" Jesse asked curiously before pulling out his car keys. "If you don't mind, I'd like to take my car home. Can't just leave it here." he said and chuckled softly. A bike really didn't look like a safe thing to drive, but he applauded those who did because it took guts to get on one with the only thing protecting you was a helmet. "Just follow me sir, I'll guide you to my house." he added with a smile. |
Lex nodded as he heard him and put the extra helmets back. He then climb on his bike as he started it up and waited for Jesse. He wondered where Jesse lived as he thought about the different places he had seen earlier today. The place wasn't all that big and he had seen most of it.
Radiance smiled as she heard Faida. " Of course, but you could become great friends. So don't count that possibility out. " She said as she sat down and read some more. " We should go get some sleep and maybe later we will figure out where to live and what to do from there. But lets get some sleep first." She said as she smiled. |
Jesse climbed into his car and buckled up before starting up the car and driving off towards his house. He glanced at the rearview mirror to make sure the male was following him. Jesse then realized that he didn't even know the male's name. I'll ask for his name once he sees the room. If he is going to to be my roomate I have to know his name. he thought to himself. After a while of driving, he pulled up onto a driveway of a quaint house. Turning off his car, Jesse stepped out and yawns softly. It felt odd to be home early but at least now he had more time to do chores. "Here we are. I know it looks small, but it's not." He said and walked to the front door, unlocking it and opening it for the male.
Faida listened and smiled sadly. "Me...have a mortal friend?" She asked and shook her head. "I do not think he would want to be my friend, but I will ask in the meeting of tomorrow. I just hope that I do not forget." She said and did some more reading before lookin back at Radiance. "Oh yes, sleep sounds like a good idea." Faida agreed with a nod of her head. |
Radiance stared at Faida as she heard her response. "Faida.....have you every truly spent time among humans? " She asked as she looked over Faida. " Most humans don't ask to be each others friends. It happens over time. It's a relationship that builds between two people. Most of the time it doesn't happen over night but it is very special. However you have to understand that sometimes your friends are going to make mistakes and you must forgive them so you wont lose your friendship. A true friend will always be there for you when you need them and even when you think you don't. Just be yours Faida and a friendship will come." Radiance said trying to explain friendships. " I think this will be a good experience for you. I guess I'm lucky I have had some years with humans and understand them among them. " She said as she picked up her books and put them back on the shelf. "I'll lead the way back to our room and show you to the bed if you like." Radiance said as she smiled softly at her.
Lex followed Jesse he pulled into the drive way and stared at the quaint house. He turned off his motorcycle and set his kickstand before taking off his own helmet and putting it on his seat as he walked to the front door. Lex looked around and tried not to grin. If only Jesse had seen his small excuse of a house he would understand why Lex thought this was amazing. Lex didn't really care about the outside of the house that could be fixed with hard work just like the inside. However he was just amazed that Jesse was nice enough to even offer a room to him. |
Faida shook her head. "In truth no I have not. I always protected them but when my job was done, I always went back to watching them from afar. I never truly spoke to them like I did to Lex." Faida admitted. She listened to what Radiance was saying and smiled a small smile. "I understand that no one is perfect, forgiving will be easy. I hope that I do not lose any friends I make. I do not like the idea of being alone anymore." She explained and helped Radiance put the books away. "A good experience...I do hope so." She added and smiled warmly. Nodding, she stood up and waited for Radiance to lead her to her own bed. Faida was looking forward to the meeting with Lex, and she hoped that they could write letters to each other and maybe even be friends.
"Please, come in." Jesse said as he stepped inside and was relieved to see that his house was absolutely spotless. He had forgotten if he had cleaned it, but he obviously had. "Would you like anything to drink sir?" he asked as he made his way to the kitchen and grabbed himself a water bottle. The room he was going to offer the male was fairly big so he was sure that size wouldn't be an issue. He hoped that his neatness didn't scare him away. He knew that some people would find it weird to see how clean he was, but it was just how he was raised. |
Radiance smiled as she lead the way back to her room or their room as it would seem. She walked over to the far end of it and showed Faida the large plush bed with silk bedding and covering. " Here why don't you take the bed. I hope that it will be soft and restful for you. " Radiance said as she smiled. " Thank you for today. It's been a long time since I have met another angel. "She said softly as she turned and walked back to her own side putting the two screens between them to section off the large room into two one for each of them. She walked to her closet as she changed this time not bothering to put on a kimono. She looked down at her true form as she smiled softly. It wasn't so ugly she kind of found it beautiful in it's own way. She slowly walked to the lounge couch that was on her half of the room. She laid down on it as she pulled the blanket from the bottom up around her as she laid there and thought for a while before drifting off to sleep.
Lex nodded as he walked in. Lex was about to answer when he remembered where he was. "Ah.....no thank you. I'm trying to stop my drinking habit. Drunk me has already informed me he was tired of coming out to bail me out." He said not knowing that Jesse was asking about water. He was use to always being asked about something much stronger at least in his job and the people he knew. on their off time most of them had one play they went for drinks. |
Faida followed Radiance over to where they would be sleeping and was surprised when she saw the bed she would be sleeping on. She was so used to sleeping on a tree branch so this was a huge surprise for her. "Oh my...!" she gasped and carefully ran her fingers gently over the sheets. "Oh, thank you Radiance! It has been fun spending time with another angel. I look forward to spending more time with you." she said and grinned happily. "Goodnight Radiance, sleep well and may your dreams be sweet ones." Faida said softly and knelt down on the side of the bed, said a quick prayer and then climbed into bed. She didn't have any pajamas of her own and wondered if there was a place where she could get some later. She got comfortable under the sheets and stared at the ceiling, thinking about what tomorrow would bring before slowly drifting off to sleep.
Jesse chuckled softly and showed him the water bottle in his hands. "Well if it makes you feel any better, I don't drink either. Never bothered starting. I'm sorry for not being clear, would you like some water?" he asked then thought for a bit. "By the way, I hope you don't mind me asking but what's your name sir?" Jesse asked curiously. "The reason I ask is because if you do decide to stay here, it would only be right to know each other's names don't you think?" he asked and smiled. |
"I'm Lex and it's a pleasure to have met you Jesse." He said as he smiled and looked to the water bottle. " Water sound nice thanks." He said as he smiled feeling slightly awkward. He looked around the house as he took note of everything. He knew it was rude to start snooping but he couldn't help himself he was a cop and his eyes always found everyone's story. He looked around the house not bothering to touch anything as he made sure the house was safe and Jesse wasn't some killer. The last clean person he met with the same cleaning standards as Jess had been a really bad man who had a thing for making his victims look like dolls. However after his quick inspection he was sure that Jesse wasn't like the man. Honestly meeting Jesse he was sure but it never hurt to check into things and make sure.
|
Jesse smiled and bowed, "It's very nice to meet you Lex." He said and took out a water bottle for Lex before handing it over to him. "Here you are." He said and noticed Lex looking around the house. Probably admiring how clean it is. Or he probably thinks it's creepy. Jesse thought to himself. It wouldn't surprise him if he found it odd, a lot of people did. "Your room is over this way." He commented and started heading upstairs and down the hallway. He stopped at a door and opened it for Lex. Inside the room was probably the neatest room anyone had ever seen. It had a dresser, a closet, its own bathroom with a shower. The bed itself was impressive, with the bedsheets tucked in perfectly and the blanket folded up neatly. A ornate table lamp sat on the bedside table which also had a small drawer. The window's curtains were opened, revealing a view of the small town. "Go ahead, look around and see if you like it." Jesse said softly, moving out of the way so that Lex could step inside.
|
Lex nodded as he followed Jesse. He was impressed with the room and could only look at it with his mouth open. "Wow this is bigger than my old place. Witch is really sad thinking about it." He said as he crossed his arms thinking about the irony there. He then smiled as he laughed looking around the room. "Thank you for allowing me the chance to see it. I'd be happy to take you up on the offer of being your room mate if that is alright with you?" Lex said as he tried not to think about things to much now wanting to get ahead of himself.
|
Jesse listened and chuckled. "This place isn't too big, but it is spacious." He said and was happy to see that Lex seemed to really like the room already. "It's no problem, I'm glad you like it so much!" He said and was surprised when Lex said he accepted the offer. "You really mean that?" Jesse asked and smiled with a bow. "I don't mind at all. It will be nice having a roommate. I've never had one before so it will be fun I'm sure." Jesse commented before shutting his mouth, he didn't want to babble on about boring things. "I hope you find the entire house to your liking, wouldn't want you to feel uncomfortable. Since this is your room now, feel free to decorate it however you want." Jesse explained with a nod of his head.
|
"Thanks Jess!"Lex said as he smiled and looked around the room still impressed with it. " Well lets talk about rent then. I also will be going to buy things tomorrow so if you need anything while I'm out we should make a list for that too. " He said as he looked around the area wondering what price Jess would want for the room. " Would 300 be a fair price including the utilities and I chip in with the food for extra? " He asked knowing that was a decent price not sure if it would be one that Jess would like or not.
|
Jesse smiled and nodded. "Yes, we'll make a list right away. As for the rent, I think that's perfect." He said softly. What things did he need? Cleaners, fruits, food...what else? What would Lex want to get? Jesse thought to himself as he cleaned his glasses. "Is there anything you want me to be aware of regarding yourself?" He asked. "What I mean by that, is did you have some rules you want me to follow? I don't want to do something that will upset you or make you uncomfortable." He explained easily.
|
"Just keep me away from stupid people and I'm alright. And away from fire water. I am use to always going out to the local watering house with my buddies. It's kind of the things we do back home after a days work. From what I see the Sheriff wont be doing that. Not that it's a bad thing. " Lex admitted as he thought about what Jesse had said. " I'm pretty laid back and promise to do my share of the work. Just know I don't do spiders. I have a gun for a reason and will kill them aggressively. " He said being serious about the last part. "Are you going to be ok if I get a gun case and put in here? I have a feeling that my hand gun may not be the best choice around here. I've notice most of the locals seem to be better armed than most governments. I'm assuming because of all the woods and nature that's the reason. I promise that I take gun safety very serious and no one will be able to get into the cabinet without me. I will not clean or do target practice here I promise. And I sing while in the shower. So you'll have to excuse me sometimes. " He said thinking that was about all to say about him. He wondered if Jesse had some rules he wanted him to follow. " Do you have rules you would like me to adhere to? What things get under your skin so I know not to do them."
|
Jesse raised an eyebrow but nodded at Lex's request."I will, well I'll try my best to anyway." he said and smiled. When he heard Lex speak of spiders and a gun though he winced slightly at the thought of him shooting at a spider. "No, no! No need to shoot spiders. I'll..I'll kill them for you." he said and put his hands in front of him. "So no need to shoot anything." he commented and shook his head. "I don't mind you having a gun, It's one of our rights. I just don't want it going of inside. I'm perfectly fine with it being locked away, I'll be able to sleep with ease." he explained and chuckled softly, scratching the back of his head. Lex sounded like a real interesting person, having him as a roommate was going to be fun. He hoped so anyway. "You sing in the shower?" he repeated and chuckled softly. "No worries, I do that sometimes too. Mostly I just hum in the shower though." he admitted easily. He wasn't the best singer, so humming was the best he could really do. "Rules, me? Well yes I suppose I do." Jesse started and thought for a bit. "I really hate alcohol, so you will never find some in here. I know you said you don't drink, but if you want to, you are free to get yourself some drinks. I however will not join you in any drinking of anything other than water and the occasional soda or juice. I don't like mess, I like to keep this house clean. So please try to keep it that way. You don't have to clean the entire house, just cleaning your room will do. I don't mind you staying up late, it's all up to you. I just expect the place to be clean when I wake up in the morning. Pretty simple no?" Jesse explained.
|
Lex nodded as he looked around the room once again."Understood and I hope you don't mind if I call you Jess. I will make sure to keep the house clean. I"ll try not to resort to my gun. But I'm telling you if there is a huge spider you have been warned. I'll pay for the damages. " He said as he grinned and laughed a little trying to lighten the mood. "Well if you want to make a list of things for me to pick up tomorrow I'll pick them up. If you don't mind I think I'm going to crash here on the bed and call it a night. I have had a very eventful day to say the least. I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be the same. I'm not looking forward to spending time with the Sharif. There is something about him I have a feeling I'm not going to like. He seems a little uptight. But positive note we get to see the girls in the morning." Lex said as he smiled trying not to really think to deep into thought about tomorrow.
Rayth stood beside the hospital bed as he watched his beloved Aria struggling to breath. It pained him more than anything to see her struggle even with the help of a machine. Today was their wedding adversary his beloved wife of ten years laid here today instead of in his arms. Aria had given up her own dreams at a very young age to be with him. They had got married rather young or that is what their families had felt. They had been through many hard times together because they had married so young. Aria had helped put him through school and gave him the encouragement he needed. She had always stuck by his side and never faltered. Even when he was called away for the military for sometime she never left him nor complained once. All she ever did was love him and always try to spoil him and make him feel loved. Today was the day he was going to surprise her with the dream house she had always wanted. He would have given it to her soon if he could have. However he couldn't afford it till now. He had been building it for her since last year in secret making sure that she had everything in it she wanted. He had even moved their things over three days ago while they where on their visit to see her parents. Tonight was suppose to be the night he repaid her for everything she had sacrificed for him. He had even got her friends to help him buy all the beautiful decorations she wanted and all the things she had longed for in secret. Instead his beloved Aria was fighting for her life with a sickness the doctors had just told him they couldn't cure. The news brought him to his knees as he screamed out up at the sky in the forest near the hospital. He had wondered out there after hearing the news. He had punched several tress in his anger and pain. " I curse you! How could you let someone so innocent be punished like this?" He shouted up at the sky anger no furious. "She has done nothing wrong and you punish her while killers run free with nothing wrong with them? " He yelled knowing he would hear no response from the sky. All he could do was scream and cry as tears ran down his face. The doctors said she wouldn't make it through the night with the strange illness. He couldn't lose her. She was his life his world and without her he was just a shell. |
Jesse listened to Lex speak and couldn't help but laugh. "Well I appreciate the warning. I'll try to run out of the house before you start killing the spider then." he said and shook his head, a smile on his face. I don't mind at all Lex, and thank-you for helping me with the chores...it's really nice of you to do that." he said decided to let Lex get some sleep while he worked on a list for tomorrow. "Ah yes, you get yourself some rest and I'll go work on a list. I'm sure the sheriff isn't such a bad guy once you get to know him. Give the guy a chance, and you're right about that." Jesse commented and smiled softly at the thought of seeing the girls again. "Seeing them would really brighten up the day." he agreed and walked out the door. "I'll see you tomorrow Lex, goodnight and sleep well." he said and carefully closed the door before heading back to the kitchen where he grabbed a pen and his small notebook then started writing down things. Cleaners, Fruit (Any will do. Well, except Kiwis), Veggies (Any will do.), Water, (Juice and Soda is Optional), Bandaids, (Anything else you can think of). Jesse wrote and read it over until he was satisfied. Only then did he set it down on the table along with the pen. Making sure his door was locked, he cleaned around the already clean house, and went up to his room to get some sleep himself.
Kiasha heard a distant voice which sounded pained and smirked slightly as she walked out from behind the darkened clouds. "Someone isn't too happy right now." she said to herself and chuckled. Diving down towards the sound of the voice, she arrived at a forest and sat on a tree branch, watching the male take his frustration out on a tree. It was rather entertaining really. She listened to his words and nodded in agreement before making herself visible only to him and fluttering down to stand beside him. "Oh dear, hush now." she said plainly and rolled her eyes. "You humans always whining, never content with what you have. Someone gets sick and it's the end of the world for you." she commented and shook her head. Kiasha took a few steps before turning to face him and smirked. "I know why you cry and shout at the heavens. Your wife...she has fallen ill hasn't she? Incurable sickness is what they all tell you correct?" she asked. |
Rayth jumped back as the strange winged women appeared out of thin air. "What the..." He was to surprised to finish his thought as he heard the women speak. He could tell she wasn't human by any means. He could feel the power emanating from her as he glared at her spatting back at her his words full of anger. "Who are you to judge? Did you come from him to rub in his cruelty? He punishes innocents while evil people run ramped unharmed! Go back to your master Demon and leave me be. I don't care for your toying. Your master has cursed a innocent already you aren't needed to rub in the fact!" He yelled knowing inside this was wrong. On the inside he knew he should be on his knees in awe of being allowed to be in the women's very presence. On the inside he was scared and wondering why he was being allowed this privilege to see a Angel. He had never thought they where real till now seeing one.
The anger and pain in him however wouldn't allow him to bow and plead with the angel. All it would allow him to do was lash out at any and everyone. He didn't understand why Aira for all the people on the earth was struck with this sickness. He tried to calm down so he could gather himself and make since of what was happening. After a while he calmed as he looked back to the strange women. " Are you hear to toy with me and make fun of me or are you going to help? Angels are suppose to help though your orders from him come before all other. Why is Aira sick? Aira has done nothing wrong. I just don't understand she was perfectly healthy this morning. I left for a little while and when I came home this. Why?" He asked more to himself sounding like a crazed person. He felt like a crazed person as he played back the entire day trying to understand what had happen to Aira. Lex nodded as he waited then shut the door once Jesse had left. He didn't bother to change as he just took off his shoes and took out his wallet from his pants. He then just crawled into the bed and fell fast asleep. He slept like a baby in the bed happy for once that he could get a good nights sleep without the memories of his partner's death playing in his mind the entire time. It was the first time he had honestly to goodness dreams. He felt at peace and as if something had been lifted off of him. |
Kiasha listened to the male and shook her head. "Make fun of your pain? Why, I would never do such a thing mortal. I'm offended that you would think that an angel like myself would even think of doing such a thing." She answered and frowned. "No, I came here to help you. I know the situation and believe it or not, I have the cure." She said and smirked. Reaching into a pocket on her dress, she pulled out a clear vial the size of her pinky finger with orange liquid inside. "This will keep her alive a while longer." Kiasha started and put it back in her pocket. "Your wife has fallen I'll because I wished it. The illness is not curable by regular means. You need my help to save her and I also need your help with something. You seem like you can be trusted, but I knew that you wouldn't do as I said unless I took something from you. While you were gone, I slipped a little someting into her drink. You are rather lucky I didn't just have her die on the spot." She explained and frowned.
