Siara smirked a little and took a bite of her food. Maybe she had made a friend after all. She didn't show it, but the food was really good. Like something you wouldn't find in the cafe of a college. She blinked and glanced at him when she noticed the thumbs up and then he started talking. She looked back at her food and ate a little more, then took a drink from her water. "Wow, the food here totally tastes better than that of my old school." She admitted quietly. Now, she was wondering how much long school would be going. She didn't know how long she could up her human appearance.
(sorry it's short! i felt bad about not replying so i tried winging it x.x) |
Elliot ate his lunch easily and nodded, chuckling some. Yeah it is isn't it? College food tends to be delicious because you pay for it. Although the free stuff isn't bad either." he said and checked his cellphone for the time. "Do you have another class after this Saria? Or are you heading home?" he asked her curiously. He himself was about to head home, work on his homework, do some book shopping and then he was going to hit the gym. Siara was a pretty cool girl, she seemed very down to earth and not stuck up like most of the girls here. Hopefully we can become friends.. he thought to himself as he finished up his food.
((Don't feel bad, your post was perfect. o u o Post whenever you have the time, I don't mind waiting.)) |
((thanks Evergreen ^^))
After her meal was finished, and her water was empty, she looked around for a clock to see what time is was. But she didn't see one around. She sighed a little. When he asked if she had any more classes, or was going to head home, she thought for a moment. She had another class, some elective that she agreed with her professor that she would take- but she really wanted to go home before her cover was blown. "Well..I have one more class but I think it's one of those classes that it doesn't matter if you show up or not." She said quietly with a light shrug. Siara wasn't sure what to do. She glanced at her hand and quickly tucked it into the sleeve of her jacket and put it in her lap. She wasn't used to this, and the effects were already wearing off. If she didn't do something quick, her sin would go back to being blue. Blue people didn't exist in human schools. |
((No problem Nova. n u n ))
"You don't ever have to show up to the classes here, only if you really want to." Elliot started and shrugged, "It's really up to you Siara. I personally don't have another class today so I'm gonna head out." he said and thought for a bit. "I know this is probably sudden, but maybe we can hangout sometime outside of school. That is...if you want to of course." he said and smiled warmly at her. He gathered their trash and got up, walking to a trash can to toss it out then fished out his car keys from his pocket. "I can give you a ride home is you'd like." he offered. |
She listened to him explain how the system worked and she nodded lightly. So, it really wouldn't matter if she stayed for the class or went home. Siara blinked a few times and glanced at him. Her eyes seemed different..like she was surprised but she was happy that he asked, and watched him throw their trash away. When he came back, a small smile tugged at her lips. "I would like that..." She said softly, replying to his offer about hanging out, outside of school. Then she nodded to his second offer and got up from the table. "I would also like a ride home." Siara answered casually, stuffing her hidden hand in the pocket of her jacket and picked up her bag with her other hand.
|
"Awesome. Well then, you can set a day and time that would work best for you." Elliot said and walked with her over to the student parking lot and towards his car. His car was a really nice looking sleek black Mercedes, it was obvious that Elliot took real good care of it. Walking over to the passenger door, he held it open for her. "Just tell me the directions to your house so that I can drop you off." he said softly. When she was seated inside, he closed the door and walked over to the other side and took his seat at the wheel before closing the door. Staring the car, he turned on the AC and buckled up his seatbealt. Looking at the rear view mirror, he looked over his shoulder as he backed out of the parking lot. His friends noticed this and whistled, cheering him on. Elliot laughed and flipped them off as he stuck his hand out the window before sticking his hand back inside and closing the window. "Sorry about that, they're so stupid sometimes." he said as he drove away from the school. "So then, where did you say your house was?" he asked politely.
|
Siara followed him to the student parking lot, and then proceeded to follow him to his car. He had a really nice looking car. She figured he took really good care of it. When he opened the door for her, she did a very small curtsy motion, then easily slipping into the seat and set her bag down by her feet. She had to think about where her house was, since she had just moved out of the mutant school. It wasn't until after she heard some of his friends whistled and cheered him on, that she had thought of a way to explain how to get to her new house. Siara shook her head and smirked lightly. "It's alright, boys will be boys after all." She said quietly. Siara chuckled softly and looked at him.
"Just follow this road, two roads down, then take a left and follow that road until you reach the last house on the right." She said to him, moving her gaze to look outside the opened window. The directions were simple, it was just a matter of her remembering them and where her house was. It was a small single home with one bedroom, a large living room, small kitchen and a good-sized bathroom. It was all she needed. |
Nodding, he listened to her directions carefully and proceeded to follow them with relative ease. "So you're new here, how do you like it here and at the school so far?" he asked, trying to make small conversation. His cellphone rang and he frowned when he answered. "I'm driving, so whatever it is you need to say save it. I'll call you when I get back home." he said seriously. "Who's that girl with you?" asked his friend. "Shut up." he said seriously and hung up shaking his head slightly annoyed at his friend. He stopped at a stoplight and waited while wondering what Siara thought about this place. It must be hard being new somewhere, but the people here were mostly friendly so he didn't think she'd have trouble making friends. If she wanted friends anyway.
|
She shook her head when he asked her about being new and all that good stuff, while looking out of the open window. "I'm not really new here... I was staying in the dorms of my old school, then moved out when I transferred schools." She answered quietly, hoping that he wouldn't ask too many questions about her other school. "I like it here though." She said, a small smile tugged at her lips. "It's a nice little neighborhood." Siara added quietly. When the phone rang, she listened to how Elliot's voice got all serious, and she shook her head slightly. Not enough for one to see it though.
|
Elliot nodded in understanding and kept driving until he reached her house and parked right in front. Climbing out of his car, he went over to her side and opened the door for her. "Here we are." he said and smiled softly. "Hopefully we can hang out soon. I have school tomorrow, last three classes then I'm free until Monday. I only have school on mondays and tuesdays." he explained. "Not sure when you have classes, but if you see me at lunch, feel free to sit with me or just say hi, whatever you want." he said.
|
Siara picked up her bag when they arrived at her house, and slid out of the car when Elliot opened the door for her. She reached in her bag and pulled out a small notebook, and took out a piece of paper. She got a pen and wrote down her number. "I'm free tomorrow, give me a call after your classes?" She asked, handing the piece of paper to him with a light smile on her pale face. "I have classes Mondays and Thursdays. The first two classes on Mondays are the same as yours." ((if i understand that today is monday x.x)) She said quietly. Her Thursday classes were still a little foggy and she wasn't sure what classes she had yet.
|
((If today is Tuesday, then that's fine with me. I'll go edit my post then since he only has classes Mondays and Tuesdays.))
Elliot smiled and nodded as he took the paper, "Will do." he said and listened to her schedule. "I see, not bad, at least we get to see each other on Tuesdays." he said and knew that if his friends found out that he had her number, they'd never let him live it down. That's why they'll never know. he thought to himself. "I guess I'll see you around Siara. It was really nice getting to hang with you, you're pretty cool yourself." he said and brushed some hair away from his face. |
(wait no..it would make more since if today is monday- since he has classes tomorrow and i thought i caught that. i'm sorry if i complicated things~ x.x)
Siara adjusted her bag a little and nodded to him. "Yeah." She said quietly, trying to not turn a little pink. Siara smirked at his comment about calling her after his classes. She pushed some loose hair strands behind her ear and looked at him. "Well, I'll keep an ear out for your call." She said, her eyes dazzling again. "Thanks." She said, responding to his comment about her being pretty cool. With that, she turned and started walking towards her house. She unlocked her front door and went inside, closing the door behind her and and dropped her bag on the chair close to the door. Siara had planned on dealing the with bully today..but now she other things on her mind... And his name was Elliot. She eased her way into the small kitchen and allowed herself to switch back into her true self. Blue skinned, raven haired and ice blue eyes with a very fitting bright aquamarine dress. She was relaxed and happy to be looking like herself again. Why was she trying so hard to blend in with the humans again? Oh right... She began to softly hum as she made a small snack since she was hungry again. |
((Oh it's alright. College classes tend to confuse people it's okay. xD))
Elliot watched her walk into her house and sighed softly as he climbed back into his car. "Gotta change and hit the gym then gotta look for that book." Elliot said to himself as he started up his car and headed home. Elliot enjoyed staying in shape and it also helped stay on top of his weight lifting class. Now he had another reason to stay in shape and she just gave him her number. Aren't you going a bit too fast? You just met her. his subconscious sneered. "We're just friends..." he said to himself and pulled up on his driveway. Walking into his house, he closed the door behind him and dropped his things in his room before grabbing the paper with her number and the paper with the book title, and placed them in his wallet. he grabbed his workout clothes and took a long shower before changing, grabbing his water, wallet, keys and cellphone as he practically ran back out to his car. He made sure to lock his front door behind him then climbed into his car and headed over to the gym. |
Siara hummed to herself as she cooked herself a snack. Something simple like a tray full of fishsticks and something on the side. When her snack was finished, she made her plate and sat at the table to eat. She wouldn't admit to it- but her cozy little home was quite lonesome. She was lonely. She sighed and put her dirty dishes in the sink when she was finished eating. Siara walked into her bedroom and began unpacking her boxes that were stacked up neatly in the corner of the room. She hung some posters on the walls, unpacked her books onto the two bookshelves that were assembled at different corners of the room and then began to unpack her clothes and put them neatly in the dresser across from her bed.
Once she was finished unpacking her bedroom, two hours had passed and she was exhausted. She sat down on her bed to read the book from her class, but ended up falling asleep twenty minutes later. |
Three hours of working out really tested your limits, and Elliot was always stupid enough to go past them. Groaning, he headed to the showers and quickly showered before walking back out to his car, getting in and driving to the bookstore. When he got there, he stepped out of his car and into the bookstore. He was so sore he was surprised he could still walk. I'm sore and tomorrow I have a weight class...smart move Elliot! he scolded himself as he looked through the bookstore for the book he needed. When he managed to find it, he bought it and headed back to his house then headed back home. When he arrived home, he grabbed his things and headed inside his house. The book was placed on his bed while the dirty laundry and workout clothes were thrown into the washing machine as he started washing his clothes. While he waited on that to finish, he decided to go read his book he had bought and yawned softly. When all the clothes were cleaned, he put them away and headed to bed, hoping to get a good night's sleep.
The next day, Elliot took a shower and got dressed for school. He grabbed what he needed and headed out of his house. Getting into his car, he yawned softly and drove over to the college. He was pretty hungry so he hoped he'd be able to get some breakfast and some hot coffee. His thoughts went to Siara and wondered what she would be doing today she didn't have classes today. "Probably working on the homework..." he said to himself as he continued driving. |
Siara actually slept all through the night, despite on how early she fell asleep. When she awoke, it was seven am the next morning. She yawned and slowly sat up, then stretched. She was glad that she didn't have to go to classes today. It meant she didn't have to worry about "blending in" for hours at a time. Maybe for an hour or so but that was it. She could handle that. Siara got out of bed and went to take a shower, and then went into the kitchen to make some breakfast. She couldn't wait until Elliot called her later.
After breakfast, she decided to finish unpacking her boxes. That would take some time in itself. She still had the living room, most of the kitchen things and the bathroom. Fun. |
When Elliot arrived to the school, he carefully parked his car and stepped out, making sure his car was locked as he made his way to the cafeteria. He ordered a large cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich then payed for it before sitting at one of the tables and sighing softly. He had three classes today but they'd be easy as always. He finished his sandwich and drank all his coffee before throwing away the trash and headed to his first class of the day, Writing. Then he had history and lastly weight lifting. It was going to be a good day. He had the clean gym clothes with him today so he put them in his locker, grabbed what he needed and headed into his first class of the day.
|
Siara finished unpacking much sooner than she thought she would and plopped down on the couch, quite content. Her little home actually looked like a little home now- and not an empty building that some homeless guy was living in. She looked at the clock and frowned. She still had some time before Elliot would be out of classes. Siara sighed and sank into the couch. She slowly stood and stretched before changing into her human form after deciding to go to the park. She took a few minutes to pack a small lunch, and a few pieces of bread for the birds, then headed out.
She wandered the town for a bit before actually finding the park and went to sit on one of the benches. Siara took a piece of bread out and started pulling the bread apart, into small pieces, and threw it out for the birds. This would do until she got some bird feed. |
Writing class seemed to be going well. He had stapled all his work together and dropped it into a basket at the teacher's desk before sitting back down and starting on the writing assignment. He was supposed to white a three page essay on what he wanted to do for his summer vacation. Summer vacation was only a few months away so he never really planned on what to do for that break. Thinking about it, he decided to just wing it and write the things down as they came to his head. One thing he was certain about was that he was going to hit the gym every day to stay in shape.
|
(i actually kind of thought up something while washing dishes xD)
Siara dozed off in the park after sitting for awhile and watching the animals and a little bit of cloud watching. When she woke up, she was in the arms of a dark skinned male with long black hair, brightly glowing golden eyes and a familiar dark-colored uniform. Her eyes widen and she pulled free from him and stood up, brushing off her ice colored dress. She had reverted back into her true form while sleeping..but the two of them were in the woods by the river, so she was too worried about it. "D-Daniel? What are you doing here?!" She questioned, truly surprised to see a fellow mutant from her old school Specially since this particular mutant just so happened to be her older brother. He was a shadow mutant cross-breed. Daniel smirked and shook his head. "Looking after you, like always." He commented. Siara sighed and twirled her thumbs. She took out her cell to look at the time, Elliot should be calling her soon. Unless something came up, then maybe not. Daniel stood and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "So, you keeping yourself out of trouble baby sis?" He asked, also teasing her. Siara looked at him with innocent blue eyes. "What's that mean? I'm a good student." She replied quietly. Her brother chuckled. "Then why are you walkin' around like a human?" He asked. She lightly pushed away from him. "Because, I'm trying to blend in with my schoolmates- didn't the professor tell you?" She asked. Daniel crossed his arms over his chest. "Yeah, he did. But I still don't understand." He answered. Siara sighed and shook her head lightly and changed into her human form. "Look, I'm expecting a call from a classmate- why don't you drop by my place sometime?" She said to him with a light smirk painted across her thin lips. Daniel growled and walked off. He couldn't believe that his sister was actually going through with this. Siara sighed and started walking back to her home so she could get ready for her day with Elliot. Or whatever... |
When the school day was finally over, Elliot started walking back to his car with his things and dirty gym clothes in a bag. He grabbed his cellphone from his pocket as he sat in his car and dialed Siara's number while buckling up and starting up the car. He was going to go to his house first to clean up and get ready, then if she was ready he'd go and pick her up at her place. If she couldn't make it for whatever reason, he'd understand and probably just work on his schoolwork he had to do. Backing up out of the school parking lot, he checked the rear view mirror before backing up and turning onto the road, driving off towards his house while he waited for her to answer.
|
Siara had just made it back to her place when her phone started ringing. She closed the door behind her and answered her phone. "Hey, you just get out?" She asked, allowing herself to change back into her true form as she walked into the living room and sat down on the couch. She didn't realize just how hard changing between form was going to turn out to be... Siara figured it would be a little bit before he actually came to get her, so she'd take another shower and find something to do while she waited.
|
Elliot smiled when she answered as he made a turn with one hand. "Yes, I'm actually on my way home right now. I just wanted to call to let you know and ask if you still wanted to hang out today? I will understand if you can't make it though." Elliot explained as he pulled up into his driveway and killed the engine before grabbing his things and stepping out, making sure to lock the door before heading over to his front door and searching for his keys.
|
Siara nibbled on her lower lip a little as he spoke. She shook her head and sat up. "Are you kidding? We made plans, and I stay true to my plannings." She answered, sounding like the Siara from school. "Just call me when you get ready to head over here." She said casually.
