Elliot chuckled and managed to get his keys and open the front door. "Alright then. I'll call you as soon as I'm ready to pick you up. Talk to you laters, bye." he said and hung up, shaking his head. She sounded just like the Siara from school he had talked to during lunch. "I stay true to my plans too missy." he said as he closed and locked the door behind him. Tossing the dirty laundry in the basket. Elliot placed his things in his room then grabbed some clean clothes and stepped into his warm shower, letting out a soft sigh. He was extremely sore from the work out today and from the one he had yesterday after school. At least he'd be able to relax for a bit.

Siara giggled after he hung up and sat back in the couch with one of those girly sighs. She set her phone down beside her. Siara shot up from the couch when her brother 'poofed' into her house. "Daniel, what the heck?" She exclaimed. Daniel plopped down in one of the chairs. "Hey, you said I could drop by." He said. Siara sighed. "Yes I know, but you can't just teleport wherever you'd like!" She complained, sounding much like a worried mother. Daniel slowly rose his hands up defensively. "Look, I won't interfere with your little human plan- I just need a place to lay low fr awhile." He said to her casually.

Siara sighed and looked at him. "Fine. But you better not get me discovered!" She said, then left the room to go take a shower and get ready when Elliot was to pick her up and such. She wasn't in the shower for very long, and when she got out she was humming to herself quietly. She laid out a change of clothes for later and would change when Elliot called her. She sat on her bed and picked up her book and began to read to pass the time.

Once Elliot was done with his shower, he stepped out and dried off before getting dressed. He stared at himself in the mirror and started to brush his hair, then left to the laundry room and dropped the towel in the basket.He walked over to his room and grabbed his wallet, keys and cellphone and dialed Siara's number while heading out of his house and locking the door behind him.

Siara blinked and looked around when she heard her ringtone, but was confused when she couldn't find her phone. Then she remembered that she left it on the couch and set her book down. "Yo sis, your phone-" Her brother called. "Don't touch my phone Dan!" She called, cutting him mid-sentence. Siara hurried to the living room and picked it up before her brother got a chance to. "Hey there handsome, I'll be outside waiting. Later." She said casually, teasing him a bit- partially to mess with her brother. She hung up her phone and headed back into her room to get changed.

When she came out, she was looking like her human self and wearing a casual outfit that consisted of a white shirt with a silver design painting the shirt like a flower with little stars around it, a skirt to match and her silver shoes to match the shirt and skirt. Her brother was pouting. She rolled her eyes and stuck her phone and her keys in the pocket of her skirt. "Call me if you need anything." She said to her brother before walking out the door and locking it behind her. Siara leaned against the door as she waited for Elliot to arrive.

"Hey-" Elliot started but was cut off by Siara's uncalled for comment. "What? Hello?" he said into the phone but she had already hung up. "What the?" he said and shook his head. "This girl, so random." he said to himself, chuckling as he sat at his seat and started the engine. Checking the rear view mirror, he waited for a car to pass before slowly backing out of the driveway and driving over to Siara's house. He was wearing some dark gray jeans, a black T-shirt with a scary looking skull design on it and a gray leather jacket. To top it all off, his buckle boots were black leather too. People would get the wrong idea all the time, they would never think that he was top of his class. He didn't mind though, he enjoyed surprising people.

When he arrived at Siara's house, he climbed out of his car after killing the engine and grabbed his keys as he approached her. "That was a surprising comment Siara." he said and chuckled. He noticed what she was wearing and gave her his thumbs up of approval, you look very nice." he commented with a smile. "Is there anywhere you wanted to go? Or you don't mind?" he asked curiously.

Siara smirked when he comment her earlier comment and chuckled. "Sorry abut that, my brother decided to visit- I had to mess with him." She explained briefly. "I hope you don't mind?" She half said, half asked in a shy voice. Siara smiled when he gave her a thumbs up and a compliment regarding her outfit, while trying not to blush. "Thanks." She said, then began walking to his car. She shook her head and looked at him. "I'm still learning this part of town, I don't mind where we go." She answered casually.

"Ahh I see. That's cool, and no I don't mind." Elliot said as he opened the door for her. "Ah right, I forgot you were new to this place. Well we can go to the mall. I work there, not today obviously but I do work tomorrow. We can look around at the stores, I'm pretty sure you'll find something you like there. I need to hit the shoe store and get myself another pair of boots since these are pretty old and won't last much longer I think." Elliot explained as he closed the door once she was seated and sat down at in front of the wheel, starting up the car again as he buckled up. When she was all buckled up, he started driving towards the mall which was somewhat far from where he lived. "So you're brother's visiting huh? That's nice." Elliot said and glanced at her. "You guys don't live together?" he asked curiously, making a turn and continuing to drive.

She chuckled when Elliot started talking and nodded lightly to him. She was glad that she didn't offend him by her comment on the phone, or that she didn't push a button. She really wanted to get to know him. Siara slid into the car when he opened up the door, and buckled herself in. The mall? She wondered silently. Siara hadn't been there yet..she wondered what it would be like to go to this mall and look around with her classmate. She'd heard about it from other students and school girls that wondered the streets with their friends, but hasn't actually gone since she moved here.

Siara blinked when he brought up her brother and she leaned back in the seat a little. "Not really..he's the type to get someone in trouble faster than helping someone out a tight spot." She sad quietly, glancing out of the window. She shook her head lightly when Elliot asked about him living with her. "Nope. He's staying in the dorms of the school I used to go to." Siara answered casually. "Though..I have a feeling he's not just visiting for a few days..." She said quietly and mostly to herself, silently wondering what kind of trouble her brother had gotten himself into this time.

Elliot continued driving smoothly down the street towards the mall while listening to Siara talk about her brother. "Really?" he asked and chuckled softly. "Sounds like a pretty cool guy." Elliot said and stopped at a stoplight. I have an older sister actually, but I haven't seen or spoken to her in the longest time. I only keep in touch with my parents from time to time." Elliot explained and drove on once the light was green. He made a turn and looked at his rear view mirror for a second before looking at the road straight ahead. "You sound worried or concerned, is everything okay?" he asked her, glancing over at her before focusing once again on the road ahead. A few minutes later, Elliot turned towards the mall and looked for a good parking spot in the shade. When he found a good spot, he easily reverse parked into the spot and cut the engine before looking at her and removing his seat belt. "We're here." he said and stepped out with his keys, wallet and cellphone in his pants pockets. Closing his door, he walked over to Siara's side and opened up the door for her.

As the car ride continued, she listened to Elliot talk and she nodded her head lightly. To show that she was indeed listening. Her brown eyes soften a little when he mentioned staying in touch with his parents from time to time and she rested her head on her forearm to watch the scenery. Siara blinked and glanced at him when he said something about her sounding worried or concerned, then asked if everything was okay. Siara moved her eyes and looked out of the window again. "Our parents died a little while after I was born..so it's been just the two of us since we were kids. My brother left and left me to fend for myself when I was fourteen- the only times I've seen him after that was when he got himself into trouble and I had to get him out of it." She stared speaking, her voice soft like she was trying to hide a pain that lingered deep within her heart. "I'm just scared..I guess... We're adults now- I might not be able to help him this time." She said, and sat up in the seat when they arrived at the mall.

Siara sighed lightly and unbuckled her seat belt when Elliot parked the car. Why she was even telling him? They only just met, and she was already telling him her back story! It couldn't be helped though... The words just kind of flowed out. When Elliot came over to her side of the car and opened up the door, she casually slid out of the seat and brushed her skirt off.

Elliot frowned after hearing her story. "I'm very sorry to hear that, I shouldn't have said anything." Elliot apologized and offered an apologetic smile. "I don't like seeing people sad, so how about I buy us some ice cream?" he offered and grinned. He didn't eat much ice cream, but today was a special day so he'd make an exception. "This mall has three floors, I work at one of the clothing stores at the very top. Ice cream shop is in the first floor, the food court is in the second floor and stores are just scattered all over the place." he explained as he led her to the mall entrance. "It never made sense to me why the ice cream shop isn't in the food court but oh well. I guess they didn't think this all through when they built this place." he said and laughed softly as he held the door open for her.

Siara shook her head lightly and smirked a little. "It's quite alright, I didn't intend on babbling..." She said quietly, shyly rubbing her forearm. When he mentioned ice cream, a small hint of glimmer could be seen in her eyes and she nodded with a light smile. "That sounds nice." She said, turning a little pink in her cheeks. Siara listened as he explained the different floors of the mall as she followed him to the entrance. She raised an eyebrow at the idea of having the food court on one floor, and the ice cream shop on a different floor. Siara chuckled softly when he made the comment he did and nodded, smirking. "Really, it certainly sound like it." She commented quietly.

"Right? Doesn't make any sense." Elliot said as they walked into the mall. First thing on his list was getting ice cream, then he was going to get his shoes and maybe Siara could find some things she liked on the way. "You have a favorite ice cream flavor?" he asked as they walked towards the ice cream shop. He hoped that she had fun today, being the new kid was never really fun but hopefully he could change that.

(oh my gosh, me too ^~^ my fiance's gonna try to get me a plush of one when he gets the money <3)

Siara followed him through the mall and towards the ice cream shop. She pondered on the question for a moment, then shook her head. "Just plain vanilla's fine with me." She answered, smiling a little. Siara let her eyes wander for a bit, just trying to figure out what the big fuss about the mall was. Besides, it didn't look like there were many people here to begin with- even it was only the first floor.

They reached the ice cream shop and ordered himself a strawberry ice cream and a vanilla one for Siara. Handing Siara her ice cream, he quickly payed the man and grabbed his ice cream before walking out with Siara. "It looks empty because most people are still at work or at school. Some classes are longer than others." Elliot explained and pointed up to the second floor. "Most people just gather at the food court though." he added.

( i know~ ^o^ i will be waiting a while though..and it kind of makes me all sad in the long run T~T )

Siara happily took the offered ice cream, smiling. "Thanks." She said quietly as she began to eat her ice cream. This really did mean a lot to her. She blinked a few times when Elliot explained to her why it looked so empty and she nodded. That totally made sense! Why hadn't she thought of that? That and most of the people here would be found on the second floor. She glanced at him after eating a little more of her ice cream. "Are we allowed to carry the food around, or do we have to eat it before going into the stores?" She asked curiously.

"You're welcome." Elliot said and started eating his ice cream as they walked through the mall, looking at all the different stores it offered. "We're allowed to take the food around as long as we don't make a mess, so don't worry." he answered with a smile. "If you're ever hungry let me know so that we can get a bite to eat." he commented and thought about what stores he wanted to go to. He wanted to go to some clothing stores and a few shoe stores later but right now he wanted to really focus on what Siara wanted even though she was new here, he knew there had to be something that could catch her eye.

Siara licked some more of her ice cream and nodded her head when her classmate told her that they could take food into the stores as long as they didn't make a mess. She walked with him and continued to eat her ice cream. Siara nodded again when he made a comment about if she got hungry to tell him. "Okay." She answered casually. She glanced between the different stores that she could see and examined them. She really wasn't used to going to a mall..it was very different from going to a clothing store or general good store. The mall seemed to have many different things.

It would've been cool if it were a mall like the ones she had seen, with an ice rink inside and open to the people as long as they could afford it. She took a bite from her ice cream as she pondered different things. She glanced at Elliot for a moment, then her eyes found a shoe store with a pair of really cute boots that would totally go with her outfit. The thought made her blush a little, since she wasn't trying to act all girly... She sighed a little and slowly walked over to the store to look at the boots.

Elliot looked at the stores as they walked through the mall and ate his ice cream. "So, find anything you like?" he asked and turned to see she was walking towards a shoe store. Following after her, Elliot looked around, deciding he would buy himself some shoes too while he was here. He wanted boots and sneakers, but he wasn't too picky. "Found some shoes you like?" he asked her, looking at her from where he stood. He was near the males shoe section, and looking at Siara, he noticed she was looking at some boots in the female section. If his parents found out he was hanging out with a girl, they'd ask to meet her and start asking all sorts of awkward questions.

Siara found herself overly embarrassed when she heard Elliot ask her if she found a pair of boots she liked. She sighed softly and carefully picked up the boots she had been staring at and turned to look at him, with the boots in her arms. "I think they're stunning- and not all that expensive. Not for a pair boots like these at least." She knew she was holding a pair of fifty dollar boots, but the store only had them priced for about twenty- obviously the guy didn't know what he had in stock. "Would I..be asking too much if I asked you to get them for them? I swear I'll pay you back." She said in a quiet, shy voice. Siara hated asking other people to buy her things, but this would be a one time chance for her... Plus, she would indeed pay her classmate back for doing so.

Elliot looked at the boots in her arms, then at her. Walking over to her, he checked the pricetag and felt his heart skip a beat when he saw the original price but they were on sale now thankfully. Her request made him chuckle, "Not at all Siara. And you don't have to pay me back, really you don't." Elliot answered and took his two pairs of boots and her one pair and set them on the counter. The man behind the counter looked at both of them then scanned the boots. "Buying this for your girlfriend here?" asked the man. Elliot shrugged, "I suppose you can say that. I mean, she is my friend that happens to be a girl and I am buying her boots. So in a way yes." Elliot answered and pulled out his wallet, Paying the man and grabbing the large plastic bag with one hand, finishing his ice cream with the other and motioned for her to follow him out of there.

(It's perfectly fine, don't worry about it.)

It made her happy when he agreed to get them for her, but she kind of felt bad when he also mentioned not having to pay him back. She followed Elliot to the check out as she finished off her ice cream. Her cheeks instantly turned red when the guy made his comment, and she casually cleared her throat. Feeling better when Elliot gave the answer that he did. It was rather amusing really. She couldn't help but chuckle lightly and mostly to herself. After he payed for the boots, she saw his gesture and quickly followed him out of the store. "Thanks for the boots, really I mean it." She said to him, smiling a little. No one had ever bought anything for her besides her brother.

Speaking of which... Daniel casually approached the two of them. When did he get here anyway? He walked up to Siara and put her phone in her hand. "Thought you might need it." He said to her casually. Siara closed her hand around the phone and semi-glared at him. "Thanks, I guess." She said to him quietly. He glanced at Elliot, then back at his sister and turned and walked off. "Later." He said, giving them a back handed wave as he walked. Siara stuffed her phone into her back pocket and looked at Elliot. "Don't mind him- he means well." She said, rubbing the back of her head sheepishly.

Elliot smiled and shook his head, "You don't have to thank me really. I was happy to buy you something, that's what friends are for right?" he asked and looked over at her brother when he approached. When did he get here? Had he followed them without Elliot noticing? When the male walked off, Elliot just looked at Siara and chuckled, "Protective brother eh? Not much of a talker is he?" Elliot asked. "Oh don't worry I know he means well, just want to make sure his little sister isn't hanging out with a creep. Must be nice to have someone who looks out for you like that." Elliot commented as they walked through the mall. "I mean I have friends and all, but they're not family...you know what I'm saying?" Elliot said to Siara as he decided to go check out the clothing store he worked at with her.

Siara blinked a few times when Elliot commented about 'this is what friends are for', then nodded lightly. Smiling a little. She glanced at Elliot after her brother had left and chuckled lightly. "Yeah, you could say that." She answered casually as she smoothed out her shirt. She hadn't really noticed it until now..but her brother really didn't talk much if there were other people with her. She listened to his words and looked down, walking with him to the clothing store. "Yeah..." She said in a soft voice. Elliot had mostly friends..and Siara had her brother. "You know..you're probably the first friend I've had. I mean, I didn't even have friends at my old school- we got along and everything..but we weren't friends." She said to him in a soft voice.

"Well that's alright, I understand the guy. I'm not much of a talker myself. I only talk with friends or if I'm really upset. You don't want to get me upset though." Elliot explained and chuckled softly. He walked into the clothing store and waved at his co workers while listening to what Siara was saying and nodded. "They were acquaintances. I've had a lot of those too before. Not anymore though." Elliot explained and smiled. "Well I'm happy to know I'm your first friend Siara, I hope our friendship doesn't end because you're a really neat girl to hang out with, I enjoy talking with you." he admitted and looked through the various clothes in the store.
