Sirus just nodded playfully. He loved pranks even as a child, granted he played so many that he lost the memory of the one that cause Daylen to burn down half of the room. "I honestly can't remember that prank." He smiled boyishly with his eyes closed. "I play so many on him I forgot it." He looked at the place the seed was planted. "I help him with deliveries and customers since he can't teleport without that weird circle-thingy he made. So in a way we're in business together. We see each other everyday but we're doing our own things most of the time." He chuckled at the next part. "Unless I prank him. Then he tries to beat me up like yesterday." He burst into laughter at the memory of the exploding cake.

Daylen was leaning outside of the solarium door, he had finished dressing and fixed his hair. He honestly thought she had left after that very embarrassing moment. He was leaning against the wall with his arms crossed over his chest listening to their conversation. A soft smile on his face. He remember the stories Sirus had told her, especially the dinosaur one. He had to share a bed with Sirus til they got another one to replace his. He stood in silence unsure if he should just take the long way to his study so they couldn't see him or just walk pass, either way he wasn't sure if he wanted to interrupt their conversation.

"Well that's understandable. You must be very imaginative to come up with many different pranks all the time." she started and shrugged. "I've never pranked anyone before. I don't think I'd be very good at it." she said and laughed softly. I think I'd forget about the prank and fall for it myself." she explained and remembered the cake exploding incident. "Ah yes I remember that. I was actually very worried you know. I don't particularly like to see people get hurt, but I suppose that accidents happen." she said softly. Contessa carefully set the watering can to the side and wondered what the little see was going to grow into. Whatever it was, she knew it would be beautiful and she would make sure not to let it die.

"I'm just glad no one got badly hurt." she said quietly, referring to the cake prank. Contessa then stood up and dusted herself off and brushed some hair away from her face. It was getting a little late now so she guessed it was time to head home. "I guess I should go home now. It's getting late and I'm sure you and your brother have many things you need to do or talk about. Please tell him goodbye for me alright?" she requested and smiled warmly. She wasn't even aware that he was right there near the door, listening to them and watching them.

Sirus just stood beside her. "Don't you even think about it." Before Sirus could even offer a help with pranking, Daylen interrupted. "No, thats not creepy at all." Sirus said playfully to his brother who never moved from his spot. He had no idea how long Daylen was behind the wall but he gathered he wanted to go to his study. Sirus smiled at Contessa and motion to the door. "You can tell him yourself." Sirus just rubbed his hands together before speaking to Contessa. "I'll return after you two have everything settled." He quickly disappeared before Daylen could yell at him. Daylen had stepped off the wall to try and get in there quickly to stop him but was too late. Upon seeing Contessa, Daylen's face lit up and he looked down at the floor. "I'm sorry I tried to stop him so he could take you home." He said softly looking at the ground.

Contessa's eye widened when she heard his voice. She nodded at what Sirus said and turned to face Daylen once Sirus was gone. "How long have you been standing there and listening?" she asked and stared at her feet, hugging herself. "I was just getting ready to leave, I'm sure you have a lot of other more important things to do." she said and smiled softly. She couldn't keep staring at the ground, that was rude so she raised her head and looked at him only to see that he was looking at the ground too. The embarrassing incident invaded her mind again and she frowned. "Sorry about earlier. It will never happen again, I can promise you that. I forget that I need to give you your space." she commented easily.

Daylen just looked at the floor, trying to stop the blushing. He didn't understand why he was still blushing over a accident. "Just about the time Sirus told you about the T-rex." He quickly replied to her. He forced himself to look at her as he spoke, his face still slightly pink as she talked. "I don't have anything to do really, just the things I promised to make you." He said softly. He always had everything up to date and all his orders filled. Most of the time he was just experimenting or sleeping. Daylen shook his head gently. "No need to apologize, it was just an accident." His blushing slowly faded away as he looked at her. "You don't have to give me that much space. I like your company." He smiled softly. He really did enjoy her company, he wasn't tense around her like he was with other people.

Contessa could tell he was still embarrassed about what had happened earlier. "Daylen you don't have to make me anything. The eye is more than enough." she said honestly, with a grin on her face. She was still really excited about having her eye back. "I don't think I could ever thank you enough for that. I mean...w-we don't even know each other very well and you have already given me an eye and a set of beautiful rings." she said, blushing slightly at the thought that soon she'd be wearing those rings. His last comment took her by surprise and her blush only brightened. He...he likes my company?! she thought to herself and couldn't help but giggle like a schoolgirl who's crush just said hi to her. I probably look stupid right now. she thought to herself and forced herself to stop. "Y-You do?" she asked.

He smiled at her softly. "I don't have too but I will." He didn't mind giving her things or making her stuff. He was always in his study making stuff anyways, at least this way he would have a good reason. His soft smile turned into a full smile as he heard her giggle. "I do." Daylen notice the darker spot on the ground. It was obvious something was just planted there. He figured Sirus gave her a seed, he always gave people things. His brother was a very generous person. "I don't know why but I'm not tense with you, I'm actually very relaxed." He spoke softly. "Granted that doesn't mean I'm not nervous." He said the last part shyly. He was still nervous with her, he didn't want to scare her or accidently burn her.

Smiling happily, she twiddled her thumbs nervously. "W-well that's understandable. I'm nervous around you too. You probably already knew that though." she said and chuckled nervously. "I think that's a good thing though right? I don't know." she said and wondered if Sirus was listening in on their conversation right now. No, he wouldn't dare do that unless he wanted to anger Daylen again. "I'm happy to know that I can make you feel relaxed. Hopefully someday we're not so nervous around each other." she said quietly. She personally knew that it was going to take a very long time for them not to be nervous around each other. Suddenly she remembered about what Sirus had told her, that Daylen was going to talk to her father for her hand in marriage. Oh dear...I'm sure it will go smoothly but it's still nerve wrecking to think about...! she thought to herself and wondered if she should bring it up with Daylen.

He felt somewhat better after she admitted to being nervous as well. He actually was trying to find a way to make sure he didn't show it; well too much. Though now he just undone all of it by telling her. Daylen nodded his head in reply. "I believe so. I would be rather more iffy on the marriage if we weren't." He knew a lot of families that tried to get into theirs just for money or power, he was glad she wasn't one of them. He smiled softly, he would rather like that but he knew it would get worse before it got better. He looked back the freshly dug soil. "What did you and Sirus plant?" He asked curious, knowing Sirus it was a very rare flower their dad grew; probably his favorite.

"Ah, well good." she said and clasped her hands together. When Daylen mentioned the seed, Contessa looked down at the wet soil and shrugged her shoulders. "I honestly have no idea. Sirus gave it to me when I was...well...crying." she said the last part quietly, hoping he didn't hear it. "He didn't tell me what it was, but I think it will be really pretty when it grows fully." she said softly and grinned. "I plan on going out and getting more seeds to plant here. Plants need to be around other plants or else they get really lonely and can die." Contessa explained easily and nodded as if to reassure her statement. "Oh I just got a great idea, do you have a favorite plant that you would like me to find and plant for you?" she asked. She would be planting things she liked but she wanted to please her fiance somehow.

He turned his attention to her, she was crying. Why, was it from walking in on him shirtless? Or was he that horrible all around? He wanted to ask her why she was crying but quickly decided against it. He turned back to the seed that was just planted. The seed Sirus had given her was most likely wasn't a prank, he was normally his only target. "I'm sure it will be very pretty. Especially if it's what I think it might be." He said softly. He smiled lightly listening to her, she was very excited on growing a garden it sounded like. He chuckled lightly at her words. "Likes most things. Good company is important." He was shocked at her question. His favorite plant? He really didn't have one, well one she could buy. "There was a plant my father made. It was a small willow tree but with these beautiful flowers and purple leaves." He said softly. "The flowers were white on the inside and faded into this teal coloring." He smiled at the memory. "I have the seeds in my study's vault." He smiled at her, the solarium could fit atleast one of them if she wanted one.

Contessa peaked up at him, wide eyed. "What do you think it's going to be? Or are you not going to tell me so that I'll be surprised?" she asked him. She loved surprises so if he didn't tell her, then that was fine by her. She wondered if having this garden would make Daylen sad though? She didn't want to keep reminding him about sad things, she wanted to make him happy and hoped that having this garden was a good way to start. Contessa listened eagerly to him describe the plant he loved and grinned. "Would you like me to plant a seed here?" she asked softly. "I...I don't want to upset you though, so if you'd prefer I didn't plant it then I fully understand." she explained honestly. If planting that tree was going to make Daylen sad every time he saw it, she really didn't want to do that.

Daylen just lightly chuckled at her curiousity. "Unlike my brother, I can keep secrets." He smiled at Contessa sweetly. "You'll have to wait and see." He said softly to her. His smiled never left as he crossed his arms over his chest. He was glad that the embarrassment from earlier had faded from them, at least he hoped it did, maybe as long as he didn't think about it. He shook his head gently. "Seeds are meant to be planted. I rather you have them and plant them then let them continue to collect dust in a vault." His eyes slightly widen, he didn't mean it to come out like that. "I meant that in a good way, not the way it sounded." He said softly once more. He was never good at talking to people. Daylen lightly rub his head, he really hope she didn't take it bad.

Contessa pouted playfully before laughing softly. I can sort of keep secrets too. she thought to herself. "Well that's alright, I love surprises." she said finally and was happy that they were having a nice conversation without feeling so nervous around each other. That feeling of nervousness would return at some point though, she knew that much since they still didn't know much about each other. His comment about the seed confused her for a bit, but she nodded in understanding once he explained himself. "I admit I was slightly confused by your answer, but I believe that I understand." she answered and chuckled softly. She was looking forward to seeing the plants grow, hopefully it made Daylen happy.

He looked towards the ground slightly embarrassed. "I'm sorry, I'm not good with conversations." He said quietly. "I will probably confuse you allot." He tried to warn her. He never been good at talking due to the fact he hid away from the world so no one would share the same fate as his father. In trying to change the subject, Daylen just turned to a shelf and smiled at Contessa. "I'm going to show you a secret." He told her before walking to the self. He felt around the bottom of the middle shelf until he felt a switch. Pressing it made the self roll to the left to reveal a hidden passageway. He turned to Contessa still smiling softly. "It leads to my study." He told her softly. In some way he was showing it to her out of trust, he wanted to let her know he really did enjoy her company. Granted he knew she probably didn't get that from this act.

"N-No it's quite alright Daylen. You've done nothing wrong. I'm just a little slow sometimes is all." Contessa explained and tucked some curls behind her ear. "Oooh a secret?" she repeated and placed her hands on her hips. "Wait a second...I thought you said you were good at keeping secrets?" she asked but followed him to the little shelf. She wasn't sure what exactly he was trying to show her, but she went along with it and was surprised when the shelf moved to the side and revealed a little passageway. "This leads to your study?" she repeated and peaked inside before turning to him, a grin on her face. "Do you use this passageway a lot?" she asked him curiously, her arms now behind her back.

Daylen just kept his smile. "It's my secret. It's okay if I tell it to someone I want to share it with." He said slyly and nodded in reply to her question. "It leads to my study but I never used it after my mother locked the solarium." He simply stated. "No one knows about it except myself and now you." He smiled sweetly at her before walking into the dark passageway. Lifting up his right hand a small fire grew on his palm lighting the hidden hallway. He turned to face her. "It's little dusty but it's completely safe if you want to come along." He said holding out his left hand for her to hold onto. It was a long time ago since he explored the hidden passages in the manor and thankfully this one only had one turnout, his study.

Contessa was surprised to hear that no one knew about this except Daylen and now her. "I thought Sirus would have know about this." she said quietly and smiled warmly at Daylen who was walking into the passageway now. She peaked into the passageway and blinked, trying to get her eye to adjust to the darkness and was grateful for the small light source he created. "Thank-you, I would love to." she said and gently placed her hand in his to follow him through this small tunnel. It was dusty, but as long as she didn't sneeze, she'd be perfectly fine. She thought this tunnel was pretty neat, it must have taken quite a bit of time to get it done.

Daylen just closed the door behind them. "Just in case Sirus comes back he won't find this place." He held her hand softly. If Sirus found it then it wouldn't be just their secret anymore. "This was a secret place my father made me. It maybe just a hallway but it allowed me to run to him in secret when I had problems with my schooling." He said as he lead her through the hallway. He gently let go of her hand and pushed open the door to his study. Like in the solarium it was hidden behind a shelf. One the was cluttered with papers and books. He step out of the passageway, he closed his hand to extinguish the fire within his palm. He went to the vault in the corner of his study. Opening it he searched for the small velvet bag of seeds. Once Daylen found the bag he closed his vault with it in hand. "You'll love them when they're fully grown." He said placing the dark velvet bag in her hand.

If Sirus ever found this place. she knew that Daylen wouldn't be too happy. Sirus would probably hide in here to play pranks on his brother. That wouldn't be a nice thing to witness at all. She shook those thoughts from her head and smiled as she listened to Daylen explain the passageway to her. "I see, that was very nice of him to do. It really did come in handy." she commented and followed him into the study. The familiar smell of books greeted her and she smiled in response. Maybe one day I can organize this stuff...? she thought to herself but decided it wouldn't be a good idea. This was Daylen's stuff and she didn't think he'd like it if she was moving it around. "I'm sure that I will. I can't wait to be surprised when I see them. They sound lovely just from what you told me." she explained and took the velvet bag, handling it with care.

Daylen nodded in reply. "Oh." He said remembering something about the bag. "Inside there is one seed that looks completely different from the others." He told her warningly. "Its an Solar-luna." He explained to her. "It is a extremely rare flower that like a Morning Glory changes with the sun and moon. However, instead of closing up. it changes color and scent." He spoke in his soft tone as he looked at her. "In the sun it's petals are pink that fades into red and it's smells of citrus. While in the moonlight it's petals are white that fades in lavender and it's scent is really sweet." He told Contessa. He had completely forgotten about it until he grabbed the bag. Daylen just closed the door to the hidden passage way. He had never lost that habit of closing doors after the used them.

Contessa quickly opened the bag to look for the mentioned seed and nodded when she saw it. "I see it. Should I plant it too?" she asked. It was really rare apparently and she didn't want it to die or anything. It sounded like a very pretty flower, prettier than anything she had seen before. Contessa made sure to close the soft bag tightly and looked around Daylen's study and thought of something. "Daylen, if it's not too much trouble...I...I'd love to watch you work sometime." she said and looked down at the bag in her hand. Watching him work on the tonic and the glove was really relaxing for her, she hoped to watch him work again, even if it was just for a little while.

Daylen just nodded softly. "You can if you would like. It should produce a few more seeds near the end of it's life cycle." He said as he leaned against the hidden door. He crossed his arms over his chest and smiled softly again as he listened to her. "You like watching me work?" He said more out of shock then a question. He never thought anyone other then Sirus would like watching him work. Though most of the time he had to pay more attention to Sirus so he couldn't pull a prank on him. "You can watch me anytime you like." He said softly. He actually like the idea of having her in there as he work. "How about this." He said just thinking of an idea. "Let's make the tools for your garden together? I'll walk you through it." He said sweetly, it would be a great bonding session, at least in his view.

Contessa nodded and smiled. "I'll be sure to take good care of them all, I promise." she said and blushed softly as she watched him. "Y-yes I do." she replied. "I find it very relaxing, and I enjoy watching people work. I watched my dad work on my arm." she explained and pointed to her metal arm. "Even then I found it very relaxing and very interesting. Like when I watched you work on the tonic and the glove. I was relaxed and very interested in what you were doing." Contessa explained and hoped that she didn't sound creepy. When Daylen said that she could watch him anytime, she almost squealed with childish joy but she controlled herself and only grinned happily at him. Her grin only grew when he mentioned working together to make the tools for her garden, well their garden really. "You really mean that Daylen?!" she asked and clapped her hands carefully so that she didn't destroy the seeds in the soft bag. "Oh Daylen I would really enjoy that very much!" she gasped.

He smiled softly at her words. He looked forward in seeing the Solar-luna again, well one that wasn't on the family crest. He was slightly taken back by her next words. She found it relaxing to watch people work. It would be refreshing to actually have someone that enjoyed it and found it relaxing other than Sirus consistent whining about being bored and trying to pull pranks. Judging by her reaction the passageway would be used allot, which didn't bother him. Daylen just nodded softly to her. "We could even start now if you wish, we have a few hours left." He told her as he looked at the clock above his study's door. "What would you like to make first, tonics for the plants or the engineering part for the watering system?" He asked her softly. Either was fine with him, they both would take a while to do. He could always minor stuff while she was away.
