Thomas gave a grin and kissed her cheek before going back to diggign in.

Luna smiled a bit as she ate,glad Deuce was ehre

"Deuce, how many stitches did you have removed today?" Emily asked. "All of them. I lost count in my head after five though. Too painful to focus." Deuce answered and ate some more. "Ouch, I'm sorry to hear that. Does it hurt right now?" she asked. "It's a dull pain. Well it comes and goes...hurts the must when I move suddenly. The doctor said I need to get plenty of rest, Thomas is witness to that." Deuce replied.

Thomas nodded."he need to rest,no running around..."

Luna looked to her tehn to Duce."taht setteles it,your staying here withme until your healed up"

Deuce chuckled, "See that's not fair because it's all of you against me." he said and took a drink of the water. "I'll stay put though, I promise." he promised.

"Good because if you don't I'm sure Thomas is going to hurt you more than you already are." Emily teased.

Thomas laughed."hey im not the one he should eb worried about...remeberwhn you had the cold,Luna was like a warden of nuses,would not let you out of bed unless it was for bathroom purposes and brought you food and ...well anything"


Luna grinned."yay now its my turn to take og\f you Duce and return all of the kindess youve done for me',and since it was her fault he was hurt sjhe was going to work double time

"Oh you're right. I almost had forgotten about that." Emily agreed and giggled before looking at Deuce. "Let her be your nurse Deuce. She's really great at it, and besides it will help you both bond." she informed.

Deuce smiled and laughed softly, "Alright then I know better than to disagree with the three of you." he answered. "I'll stay right here until I'm all healed up. That may take a while though, I hope you don't mind." Deuce informed before taking another bite of the food.

Luna smiled."i don't mind",she siad softly.

Thomas smiled,glad things were okay between them.The tention was gone.Good.

Everyone continued to eat their meal and when they were done, Emily gathered the dishes to clean them. "You get some rest Deuce, you need it." she said and looked at Luna. "Keep an eye on him. Make sure he does get some sleep." she said to Luna softly.

Damen grinned wanted to be sure that Luna and Deuce had tme tgether.'You heard her"


Luna nodded and looked to Deuce."come on,you can use my room",shesaid sioftly ."need help up the stairs?"

Deuce chuckled and took Luna's hand in his. "I might need help yes. You know I would have been fine on the couch..." he said and started to carefully walk up the stairs with her to her room.

Emily shook her head and sighed happily as she washed the dishes, humming softly to herself.

Thomas smiled helping her by druing and put away."i thikn hey'll be okay"


Luna smiled."I know,but the bed is the best place for you to rest"

Emily looked up at Thomas when he spoke and nodded. "I sure hope so. I'm just glad that Deuce doesn't seem upset anymore." she noted.

"True, but where are you going to sleep then Luna?" he asked curiously. He wasn't going to let her sleep on the floor or the couch, they were probably going to have to share the bed.

Luna smiled at hom."on the floor beside the bed",sshe said shrugging

Thomas nodded."yeha me too...."

"Sorry but no. I'll take the floor and you take the bed. You are not sleeping on the floor." Deuce said to her as they reached her room.

"I don't think I've ever seen him so upset before." Emily said quietly with a small frown as she finished cleaning.

Luna poutedyep they were stuborn.'or we both take the bed....its big enough...'

Thomas nodded."while part of me hates seeing her get yelled at,maybe it shoes ,in his own way that he cares for her"

"I'm not sure you'd be comfortable with that. I don't mind taking the floor." he said and blushed at the thought of sharing the bed with her.

Emily dried her hands and looked at Thomas. "Yes, I suppose you're right. People have different ways of showing others they care. Though I know that you would probably yell at me too if I did something you did not approve of." she commented.

Luna blushed a bit."if you don't take the bed neither will I. You need it more Deuce. Please take the bed.Please"

Thomas blinked."maybe....if it made me really worry about you"

Deuce sighed softly and nodded, "I guess we're sharing the bed." he said to her softly and lay facedown on her bed, wincing. That really hurt, but he'd get used to the pain eventually.

"Not maybe, you KNOW you would lose it and I would deserve it." Emily whispered and ran her fingers through her hair softly to make sure she didn't have any knots.

Thomas gave a laugh kissing her cheek."thats true"

Luna gently laid on the other side of the bed,keeping her distance since she knew he wasnt confortable with this."sleep well Deuce

Emily smiled and hand his hand. "Those two are probably sleeping so we should go and get some sleep as well. We can come check up on them tomorrow before I go to work." she suggested.

Deuce looked at her and smiled weakly. "I'll try..." he whispered softly and rubbed his eyes. He couldn't sleep. His body hurt too much right now to focus on anything else.

Thomas smiled and and then kissed her cheek.a'right,great idea",he said softly."come on",he gently lead her to the door

Luna blinked a bit at him then went into her side table pulling out some pan killers,she carefully moved closer to him."here,they may help",she said softly"and if you like we can talk until you fall asleep"

Emily smiled and followed Thomas out of Luna's house. It had been a long day, so she was sure each one of them welcomed sleep right now.

Deuce smiled when Luna handed him some painkillers. Taking them easily, he sighed and lay beside her. "Thank-you Luna. I hope you never have to go through what I'm going through right now." he said to her softly.

((early signs of one,so ive been in bed most of the day:) ))

Luna had a sad look to her eyes."I'm sorry you have to go through this Deuce ...this is my fault",she said softly

Thomas yawned softly."do you mind if i stay with you tonight?",he said softly."theres a pack of v\wolves and some vampires that came to town...i rather stay close to you for now:"

"This isn't your fault. I've had stitches before I even knew of you." Deuce answered and smiled. "I should be used to this but these hurt a lot more." Deuce added honestly.

"There are?" Emily asked and reached for Thomas' hand. "I don't mind at all." she said to him and smiled. "Come on, let's get home so that we can sleep. You look really tired." she pointed out.
