Emily frowned and looked at Thomas and Luna before looking at the teacher. "N-No I can keep going. I...I'll be okay really. I'm fine." she said and frowned since she knew there was no arguing with the teacher or Thomas. Standing up carefully, she turned in her drawing and quickly left the classroom heading to her house. Maybe she needed to sleep, perhaps she'd be better in the morning.

Deuce watched in silence and frowned slightly before looking at the teacher and then at the students. He didn't know what to think of what had just happened but something told him that the girl wasn't too happy to be sent home. It was for her own good though, he was sure she'd just get even more hurt if she had stayed.

Thomas had gathered his things quickly and looked to Luna sadly.'sorry",he said applogozing for them bothe ditching er and left with Emily.'dont be mad,its just so we can make sure your okay,that small fall has made you really weak,and it shldn;t have ,you may have been working to hard"

Luna stood slowly watching them go and had a sadfrown on her face as the group of students slowly left she stood grabbing her things and waited for Deuce

Emily frowned and looked at Thomas sadly. "It was just an accident Thomas...and accidents will always happen. Thank-you for being worried but I'll be okay once I get some sleep. You can go back and keep an eye on those two." she said softly as they walked.

Deuce looked at Luna and smiled. "Cheer up Luna, I'm still here to keep you company." he said and walked with her out of the classroom. "So where do we go next? To another class?" he asked curiously.

Thomas,always a stubborn one frowned."I'll head back once i get you home and tucken safely into bed",he said calmly.


Luna blinkd a bit and smiled at how sweet deuce was then ndded to his qustion and gently took his hand again and started for history class.

Emily frowned and hugged his arm so that she wouldn't fall while they walked. "I'm sorry. I'm not used to being sent home..." she whispered softly and walked with Thomas to her aunt and uncle's house. Grabbing the key, she unlocked the door and led him inside then closed the door behind them and sighed softly. "She looked happy, she was smiling at him in class today." Emily said as she let go of Thomas and headed up to her room.

Deuce walked with her in silence and looked around in the second class they were in. Judging from the decor, this was a history class. "This class should be rather interesting." he said quietly and looked down at Luna. He wondered if she could even talk. Was she extremely shy? Or mute?

Thomas blinked a bit and followed her."yeah",he smiled softly."Im glad someone else can make her smile too",he said softly."she's been through a lot,so its good to see her trusting someone else"



Luna blinked but smiled.She nodded to him and lead him to a table where there were side by side,so she could share the history book

"Yes she has." Emily agreed and sat on her bed after putting her bag down. "You know, I think she likes him and it's really cute." she noted and giggled. Little Luna could be quite adorable at times.

Deuce blinked and followed her to where he would be sitting for the remainder of the day, by her side. He looked down at the text book that Luna had set on the desk. He wondered what it was that they would be reading about.

Luna face lit up as she opened to a page of history on urben ledgands and it was going to be abot Werewolfs and Vampires

"Werewolves and Vampires...interesting." he said quietly. At least it would be a subject he could personally relate to. He wondered if Luna knew that her male friend was a vampire. He probably had never told her and Deuce understood why, he didn't want to frighten her.

Luna smiled nodded.Then stayed close to him glad he was there,as they started the lesson.

Thomas smiled softly."yeah its her first crush,so cute"

"Does this mean you're leaving now?" she asked and frowned. She didn't want him to leave but she knew he had to in order to keep an eye on those two. Besides, her aunt and uncle would be coming home in a few hours.

Deuce listened to the teacher start the lesson and talk about how werewolves and vampires weren't real. It made him smile since a werewolf was sitting in the class right now.

lUNA FROWNED AS SHE LISSEND ,SHE BELEAVED THEY WERE REAL,THERE WAS WAY TO MUCH PROOF TO SAY TOTHER WISE.

Thomas blinked and shook his head.'nah I'll stay until your aunt ir uncle get here"

Deuce raised his hand and when the teacher called on him, he swallowed nervously. "Actually, both are very real and I know you won't believe me but I'm going to voice my opinion anyway. Today I saw a vampire when I was in a clothing store and yesterday I saw a werewolf stare right at me. The reason I'm still here is because I pose no threat." he explained and shrugged.

Emily smiled and took Thomas' hand. "You're a really good guy, my uncle was right about you." she said softly as she lay in her bed comfortably.

Thomas smiled "thanks.I'm glad you and yor uncle thik so".",he said watching her."now rest,I'll keep watch for a while"

Luna blinked a bit at Deuce smiling though frowed as some students laughed at him,one of them saying that he was a freak just like Luna

Emily nodded and snuggled close to him as she closed her eyes and tried to get some rest. She was sure she was going to have to explain to her aunt and uncle what had happened.

Deuce stood from where he was sitting down and looked over at the student who said that. "What was that kiddo? You want to repeat that to my face?" he asked and narrowed his eyes. "You don't want to see the real me, so I suggest you shut your mouth and keep your stupidities to yourself because the only freak here, is you." he said seriously before sitting back down and smiling at Luna. "He's just being stupid." he whispered.

Thomas blinked at her but smiled."sleep well",he said softly.

Luna was staring in shock at hm again,he was so nice to her,she smiled softly the looked at the teacher who ahd that,'go see the prinsaple",look on his face,sighing she stood and looked to Deuce and moutioned for him tp follow,and sighed when the student who yelled out was told to leave as well"

It didn't take Emily long to fall to sleep happily snuggled up next to him while holding his hand in hers. A few minutes later, the front door opened and closed. Her uncle and aunt's voices could be heard as they walked into the kitchen to prepare dinner for when Emily would get home from school.

Deuce closed and picked up the history book before taking Luna's hand in his and walking out of the classroom. He wasn't sure they were going but he assumed that Luna knew where they were going.

Luna blinked but smiled softly when he took he hand and lead him the the office with a note that the teacher had givven her once in the three of them had to sit and wait for the principle.



Thomas smiled a bit hearing them and slowly went downstair and cleared his throught."

Deuce sat down on a chair beside Luna and sat in silence. They were in the principle's office which he guessed was not a good thing.

Her Aunt and Uncle turned and looked at Thomas. "H-how did you get inside?" Emily's aunt asked curiously. She wasn't afraid, they knew Thomas was a good boy but why was he here?

Thomas sighed and gave them the run down of what happened."so right now she's asleep in her room"

Luna looked up as the prinsiple came in and sighed seeing Luna here."well this si new,Luna normaly i never see you here",he looked to the two boys."witch one of you wants to start"

"Oh dear, well thank-you for taking care of her. You are such a sweet boy, I can see why she enjoys spending time with you." her aunt said. "Will you be staying here with her?" she asked.

Deuce sighed and stood up. "I'll go first." he said and looked at the other boy. "You better leave her alone while I'm gone." he warned and looked back at the principle.

Thomas smiled softly."I would like to,If thats okaty with you",he said sftly and blinked."oh while you here, Luna's birthday is coming up, i was wondering if we could through her a surprise arty here",he said softly.

The principle frowend at the other boy."I can already guess what happend",he said looking ma.Then lead Deuce into the office and saat down."I take it your here for visitor day",eh said softly.His eyes softened."Its good to see Luna making another friend,so please tell me what happened in class",he frowned a bit.

Her Aunt smiled and nodded. "Of course you can! As for the party, you are more than welcome to do it here. I'm sure she would little Emily will be very happy to help. We'll be happy to help with the food and the cake." she said. Her Uncle chuckled and nodded. "You let us know what cake is her favorite and I'll bake it for her." he explained.

Deuce took his seat in the principle's office and nodded. "That I am." he said and nodded. "Alright. We were in history class. The topic? Vampires and Werewolves. The teacher said they weren't real but I said they were, then that kid called me out, saying Luna and myself were freaks. I told him to shut his mouth and keep his stupid comments to himself and said he was the only freak. Luna had nothing to do with it, She didn't do anything." Deuce explained.

Thomas smiled."perfect,her favorite Cake flavor is chcolate",he smiled."shes made a new friend so I hope he comes...."

The prinicple nodded."I see",he smiled a bit."thank you for standing p for her,though acting out like that is not the best way to handle it",he said softly."tell me,did, Emily or Thomas tell you why Luna doesnt talk....",he asked softly

Emily's uncle wrote this down and smiled at Thomas. "If he really is her friend, he will be here for her birthday." he informed and continued working on dinner which was grilled chicken with some white rice and vegetables.

Deuce raised an eyebrow and shook his head. "Sorry but if you tick me off you better be prepared to be lashed out at. He's lucky I didn't get physical." he said and shook his head. "No they didn't. I never really asked." he answered.
