"oh",Luna said looking surprised but smiled."well,at least you know how to calm yourself down",she said softly."I wish i could do that after my night mares"

Thomas smiled."thats great that it was busy,im just sorry you guys had to work so hard"

Oh yes, her nightmares. Those were some serious nightmares she had but he was going to do his best to help. "Well I'm here for you. Whenever you have a nightmare I'll do my best to calm you down. If I am not around when you have a nightmare, I want you to take a deep breath and let it out slowly while thinking positive thoughts. A nightmare isn't going to hurt you. No one is going to hurt you Luna." he said softly.

"Oh thank-you Thomas. It's alright, we enjoy all the work." Emily's aunt said. "Now then, I'm sure we are all hungry, we'll start on some food. We will call you when it is finished. she said. Emily smiled and nodded then looked at Thomas and leaned over the small table and kissed his cheek before sitting back down and looking at her cards.

Luna blinked lissening to him.She smiled softly then taking a deep breath she hugged him."thank you",she said softly

Thomas blinked looking to her a small blush on his cheeks."thanks",eh said shyly

"It'd no problem Luna. I'm always happy to help out a friend. I don't have any friends, well except you and perhaps your friends. That's all I need...I didn't want to make enemies but in all honesty it's nice having an enemy." Deuce said and smiled when she hugged him. His arms wrapped around her in a gentle hug. He was a fighter, and he wasn't afraid to beat people up if it meant keeping Luna safe.

"No problem Thomas, it's the least I can do for all you have done for me. That, and I like you too." Emily explained.

Deuce smiled back at her and continued to walk with her. He wondered what she would think if she ever saw him under a full moon. She would probably be afraid of him and he wouldn't blame her at all. After all, he was scary under a full moon.

This made Emily chuckle. "Glad?" She repeated and cocked her head to the side. "Why do you say that Thomas?" she asked curiously and looked at him.

Thomas frowned."because id be sad if i liked you and you didnt like me"

Emily put down her cards and stood up before walking over to him. "Aww please don't be sad Thomas, I really do like you, I promise." she said and kissed his cheek again.

Deuce watched her and smiled as he walked after her. This was a place he liked to come to on occasions but it wasn't a daily thing.

Thomas hugged her gently."then why do yu keep asking so many questions/",he said smirking

Luna looked around in aw."its beautiful",she said her face lighting up

"I am a very curious girl I guess." she answered softly. "Do you not like it when I ask many questions?" Emily asked.

"Yes it is isn't it?" he asked and looked at his reflection in the lake. "I don't come here often, but sometimes I do like to come here and just relax." he explained to her.

"i would come here evyday if i could!",Luna said as she slipped off jer sjoes and rested them in the water."thst feeld nice"

Thomas laughed softly."i like when ou asked questions",he said looking at her.

Everyday? "Well we can come here whenever you want Luna." he answered and lay down on the soft grass, relaxing and just enjoying his time with her.

Emily smiled. "So then, I can ask as many questions as I want and you won't be sad?" she asked.

Luna turned to lookl at him and smiled."really?"

Thomas smiled."absolutely"

Deuce looked over at Luna and nodded. "Really. If you're happy here then I'll be happy bringing you here whenever you want to come here." he answered her honestly as he lay on the grass happily.

Emily smiled at Thomas. She was happy to see that he wasn't sad anymore. "Good, because I don't like seeing you sad." she said to him. Her aunt looked over at them and smiled. "You two must be hungry, come now and eat something." she said as she started serving the food for the four of them.

Luna grinned more."thank you!"

Thomas let Emily go and then folowed her aunt."yes.thank you"

Deuce chuckled and looked over at her. "You're welcome Luna. If coming here makes you happy then I am happy." Deuce explained to her and looked up at the clouds as they moved across the sky. "How long have you been in school?" he asked her curiously.

Emily walked into the dining room and thanked her aunt and uncle for the food. "You two seem to be very happy today. Are you hiding something?" her aunt asked in a teasing manner. Emily chuckled and shook her head. "I just enjoy it when Thomas visits me. I'm feeling better though so I'm sure I can go back to school." she answered.

Luna blinked and laid back looking at the sky as as well,but keep her feet in the water."hmm well since i was littlethen when my parents died i didn't go for almost a year,it was Emily and Thomas who convinced me to go back"

Thomas smiled a bit ,wondering why she didnt tell them about their date.But shrugged he munched awy

"I see..." Deuce started and glanced at her. "Do you like school?" he asked her. She had friends even though some people liked to pick on her from what he saw when he went with her.

"Just be sure not to push yourself too hard Emily. We don't want you getting hurt again and I'm sure Thomas wouldn't want you getting hurt either, isn't that right Thomas?" Emily's aunt commented.

Luna blinked and smiled softly."yeah,it has its down sides,but i still like it"

Thomas nodded."right!"

"Well that is to be expected. Nothing is ever perfect. Perfection would be very boring. Flaws add character to life." Deuce explained. "At least you like it, that's good." he said and smiled.

"I promise I'll be careful. I wouldn't want to worry anyone." Emily said and took a few bites of her food. Maybe now that she was feeling better, she and Thomas would be able to enjoy the date he had asked her on.

"Ah yes, art class. That was a very fun class. I can see how it can be your favorite. You are a very skilled artist Luna, I was very impressed." Deuce commented and looked at her.

Emily ate her meal happily. She loved the food her aunt and uncle made, it reminded her of her mother's cooking. She missed her parents very much and wished she knew what had killed them exactly.

Luna looked to him and blushed softly."thank you...my dad was a great artist",she said softly and smiled at the thought."he taught e all that I know"

Thomas smield as he ate."this is delisous",he comented

"He was? So was he the one who taught you how to draw?" Deuce asked curiously. He didn't remember much of his parents, all he knew was that he was very well taken care of.

"Well Thank-you Thomas, I had a feeling you would like it." Emily's aunt answered. "I agree with Thomas Auntie, this is delicious. Reminds me of mother's cooking." she said softly. "Well your aunt here is the one who taught your mother to cook." her uncle answered.

Luna nodded."yeah,since i was younger,he was pretty famous....he actually has art work in the museum in town",she said softly.

Thomas smiled."well then she had a great teacher"
