Lost Memories generations (Evergreen Goddess X Lady Chello)
Over ten generations have passed since the old kingdoms of Alphiara and Evana, that once stood as separate kingdoms. This is a new age full of modern technology and ideas. Most things from the past are starting to fade into legend. The new planet that has formed has revived the loving name of Ophinia. Both Elves and humans live side by side having mixed into their own race forming the best of both. The wars of the old world seem to have faded into obscurity along with many of the old traditions. Even in this day and age the tales of the great Kings and Queens can be found in every inch of Ophinia. Statues of the great royals are through out the magical planet. For years the people have lived in peace ruled by the descendants of the legendary Kings and Queens of old. However the past has a ugly habit of raising it's ugly head when people least expect it. In the farthest reaches of the planet descendants from evil blood have brood festering their hate for the Noble Royals who have ruled Ophinia. It seems like the winds of change are blowing. A new dawn is coming may we pray it's for better and not worse. The worst of witch is his vow he made to the Kings and Queens of old. Because of his vow he is trapped in two worlds. Lon is his normal body and can fall ill very easily. His normal body is weak and useless to him for the most part compared to his body as Cypress. For every attack or injury he takes as Cypress. His normal body will take once he transform back into Lon. Because of his torn forms his normal body suffers from great headaches and pain at random times. Story: Lon is not as old as he appears to be. Lon is only a teen at best. Since his birth strange things happen when he came near any part of earth. Trees would grow into giants full of life. The same for any vegetation or any plant life. Rocks would mold into whatever he thought. It was then as a small baby that he was taken to the forgotten city where Princess Hope had made her last stand against the Evil King. The Oracle spirit Opal appeared before the people of the new kingdom and declared that on this day was given to them and to their generations to come, a new Guardian to protect the people and the land from the evils that would dare to destroy it once again. The Oracle spirit Opal summoned the lovely green jewel that Princess Hope herself had become upon her death. The gem was full of a strong mysterious power. As the gem floated towards the young Lon life filled the overgrown city. The Oracle spirit Opal explained that the events that had happen hand changed the land and future as they had once known it. The land had awoken it's own magic and had heard the cry of it's people and took form as the small baby that they saw. The baby would be known as the Guardian spirit Cypress. Unto him would be the power and eternal keep of the land. The two would be tied for eternity. Upon saying those words the lovely green gem floated down and vanished into the young babies body. A bright green light shot out from the babies body as suddenly a grown man appeared with strange marking on his body. Great power could be felt coming from him. As suddenly a great tree sprouted where he floated in mid air. It surrounded him hiding him from view as great beautiful white Lilly's bloomed around the great tree a beautiful lake suddenly forming around it. As beautiful rainbow flowers appeared around the tree in the middle of the lake. The people where shocked and amazed seeing that the lake had formed around them making the forgotten city it's own island. The power they felt still coming from the tree amazed them as the Oracle spirit spoke again. " For four hearts of Queens he shall sleep and grow. He will be taught by the Queens and Kings themselves once he wakes. Their pact to be forged with him. In times to come he shall sleep only to wake when the twin sister hearts are in danger. He will heed only the call of the twin sister of the Twin Queens. Darkness will rise but the hearts of the Queens will flood the darkness with light and unite the land and save it. The Oracle spirit said looking to the great tree. For four generations Lon slept in the tree. He awoke when the fifth generation took control of the land and was raised like a heir and treated like a son. Stories where written about the immortal forest king. Of his kind heart and many good deeds. It's said however that one day The Great Oracle spirit Opal appeared before the Forest King Cypress and the Kings and Queen of the land. She told him that his time awake was done. It broke the Kings and Queens heart losing Cypress. He was put back in his tree to sleep. However the Kings and Queens kept him company making sure each day to come and visit him. They read to him and built a beautiful room for him filling it full of pictures and different things as he slept. They left him diaries so when he woke next he would not feel alone. The Great Oracle spirit Opal is said to have guarded his tree and hide the room as descendant from the Evil King appeared once again threatening the land and it's people. The Oracle spirit used her great power to hide Cypress and keep him safe from the evil that searched him out to try and kill him or tame him for their use. In his sleep Opal taught him teaching him about the world ensuring that he was no lonely for long in his sleep. When he woke he was alone in his protected island home. The Great Oracle spirit Opal was gone. He cried out for her having woke feeling her screams. Since then he has hide his true identity posing as a local forest guide and royal grounds keeper to the royal family to keep his eyes on the two little Queens to be. Bringers of Darkness: SPOILER |
Agnes Collins http://www.menewsha.com/forum/pictur...ictureid=60392 Teen http://www.menewsha.com/forum/pictur...ictureid=60394 Adult http://www.menewsha.com/forum/pictur...ictureid=60395 Name: Agnes Collins Age: 10 Title: Queen (to be) Staff: Staff of Sacrifice, the staff that is said to have been created when Aisha herself gave a selfless sacrifice to save Her royal majesty Queen Daphne. It is said that the only way to fully use its power is to understand what a sacrifice really is and to be willing to sacrifice anything or anyone if the occasion called for it. Powers: Agnes bears the powers of light and granting wishes. She can use the night sky to see into the future and uses it to attack the enemy as well. Because of her light powers, she's able to summon chains or whips of light in her 'Dream Inherent Form'. This form is her powerful form and the form that she has to learn to achieve if she wants to save her kingdom from falling. In this form, Agnes is also able to heal any one she chooses, just as the great Candy used to. Story: No one, not even she knows what happened to her parents. Some say they died, others say they were killed and some people even say that they put her up for adoption. Either way, Agnes isn't sad or mad at anyone because she has a home and people who look after her. The people gave her a staff, saying that only she could wield it and unlock its true power. Agnes of course doesn't know what any of this means so she likes to run around through the town and drag her staff along the ground and the grass. This usually results in her being scolded and the staff having to be fixed and polished over and over again. People say that she is the second queen that will help the kingdom remain afloat, Agnes isn't too sure she understands that either but she does know that she's going to try her best to have fun while help the people in any way she can. She doesn't feel like a princess and doesn't even act as one but the people seem to be very patient with her. Marius Lewis http://www.menewsha.com/forum/pictur...ictureid=60391 Prince Form http://www.menewsha.com/forum/pictur...ictureid=60393 Name: Marius Lewis Age: 20 Title: Caretaker of Ona Lady Thandir Abilities: Marius' abilities consist of darkness. He is able to give people nightmares with just one touch and he loves it. His darkness magic is obviously a lot stronger at night time and he loves to use it on unsuspecting people. Using it in a surprise form makes it easier for the magic to stick on the victim. He can use sand to his advantage, he's like the boogeyman really, although he doesn't enjoy being called that at all. He can even fly but chooses not to unless he has to. Weaknesses: Light is his weakness. Being a desendant of the dark king it only makes sense. Another weakness of his is seeing the little ruler so depressed. Despite begin a cruel man, he cannot bring himself to hurt her, he doesn't care if the dark king ends up sending someone after him. Knowing the dark king, someone is bound to come after him to see why he is taking so long to kill the target. Story: Descendant of the Dark King, Marius was sent down to Ophinia to take the staff from the ruler of that land and kill her. He wasn't expecting what he saw though, a helpless little girl. He could easily take the staff, but what was the point in that? He couldn't kill her, she was...so young and carefree it always made him smile. So he grew close to the girl and became her protector instead of her killer. The little girl is stubborn at times and judging by what he was told he could understand why. Still, he doesn't want her to just give up, that would mean the bad guy won and he knew she wouldn't want that and he didn't want it either. So instead, Marius does what he can to help her out. He sees her get frustrated easily and when that happens a walk through the royal gardens usually does the trick. If that doesn't help then he just talks to her and listens to what she says. He believes in her but sometimes he doesn't think that's enough for her to believe in herself. Allies SPOILER---------- Post added 02-22-2016 at 06:37 AM ---------- Marius walked through the large manor early one morning. It was still quiet outside except for the sounds of birds chirping occasionally. He walked up the stairs in absolute silence until he reached her room. She was most likely still sleeping and he felt bad having to wake her, but it was part of his job. Knocking on her door, Marius quietly opened the door and strolled into her room, closing the door behind him and approaching her bedside. His dark eyes watched her sleep, so peacefully. It was a crime waking her up. Turning away from her Marius walked to her window and opened the curtains to let the sunlight into the room. "Wake up my lady, it's a nice day and would be a waste to just sleep through it all you know." Marius explained and looked back at her with a serious look on his face. It was unprofessional to crack a smile around her, or that's what he thought anyway. Still, he would crack a smile every now and then to her surprise. "My lady, up you go. You do not want me to carry you out of bed do you?" he warned. He didn't always have to warn her but sometimes it was the only way to wake her up. "Agnes?" Eofe's voice was heard outside the dark door. "Lady Agnes, are you still sleeping?" she asked and opened the bedroom door to reveal a sleeping child in the middle of a large bed. Eofe smiled and shook her head before heading down to the kitchen. "I need breakfast to be ready." she ordered. Eofe was the head maid of the household and the person in charge of Agnes. She had to make sure the child woke up in time for her lessons. Quirtly, she walked back to Agnes' room and walked inside. "Lady Agnes, you must be waking up now. Breakfast is almost ready and you still have lessons to attend." she said and smiled when she got a groan in response. "Come on now." she said and helped little Agnes get dressed for the day. "Is it morning already?" Agnes asked tiredly as she allowed Eofe to get her dressed and fix her unruly long hair. |
Lady woke as she suddenly felt the warmth of the sun's rays against her bare skin. She was surprised by the light as she pull the blankets up over her face starting to burrow down in them once again making her cocoon as she called it. It was rare for her not to be inside her cocoon when she slept. For some reason she seemed to always need heat to sleep. She normally slept with her entire body covered except one foot or one entire leg for short periods of time. She sighed hearing a familiar voice once again. " If I tell you I decree for you to go away and leave me be you'll ignore me wont you?" Her voice chimed like a lovely bell in the morning air as she slowly came out of her beloved cover cocoon. She stretched as she sat on the edge of her bed before standing and turning to make her bed. Once it was made she turned and smiled seeing Marius there.
" I'm worshiped by everyone except for the people who I'm suppose to give orders to and they obey it. You and the Elders really don't understand how a monarchy works do you? " She said playing with Marius. She walked to her closet as she pulled out one of her favorite outfits then headed to her bathroom. She showered quickly and dressed herself putting her hair up in her normal hair due. She brushed her teeth and made sure she was presentable once again before coming out for Marius to inspect. This had become her normal routine since Marius had appeared at the stuff palace. " There I'm cleaned and dressed according to social standards. " She said yawning once again as she held her hand over her mouth as lady like as she could. It was easy to see she was still sleepy and only half awake. It was easy to see by Lady's dress and her manner of speaking that she was different from most children. She was mature far beyond her years and had a grasp of government, business, and life that most adults didn't have. She may pick on Marius and even defy him at times but she cared for him in her own way. As a heir to the throne she was expected to carry herself in the manner fit for a person of her stature. That meant not wrapping her arms around Marius and great him with hugs as she would like. However once in a while she would. Lon worked in the royal gardens as he tended to all the plants. People came from every where to see his work. He wished he could take credit but in all honestly all he did was just help the plants grown the plants did all the work. He worked in front lawn today on a special project he had been working on. He had noticed that the two young ladies of the house had seemed a little down lately. It worried him because of the things that had started to happen recently. As he worked the only thing that crossed his mind was Opal's warning of what would come to pass. It made him frown a little as the plants around him seemed to sense his mood and started to droop. " He-Hey now we will have none of that. You are suppose to be beautiful and full of life. How are people going to enjoy you and smile at your beauty when your hiding it like that?" He asked as the plant suddenly moved facing him as if they understood him. He smiled as he watered the plants and tended to them. " Alright now it's time to welcome our new friends everyone. Now don't be mean and try to block them out." He warned some of the shrubs and ferns. He smiled as he touched the ground thinking of what he wanted as suddenly like magic the entire front of the palace was graced with rainbow Roses. He smiled as he open his eyes seeing his latest creation. " Ah, there you are my beauties." He said gently touching on as he admired it. " I think you will do nicely to help brighten the Ladies moods here. Now please do your best to stand tall and look beautiful. I'm counting on you and so are the people here. You see our Ladies here have been sad for a while. They need something to make them smile. " He said as the roses seemed to understand suddenly becoming even more breath taking as more buds appeared and open revealing the most beautiful rainbow roses. He moved around the front lawn making sure that all the plants where watered and cared for. He then went to the back as he knelt down near Lady Agnes room and closed his eyes once again placing his hand on the dirt he had just watered. Suddenly just like before dozens of Rainbow roses appeared all around the back. He made sure that there where plenty for both Ladies to see. "Now that's how it's done. You are all so beautiful.' He said as the roses bloomed even more as if from his kind words to them. |
Marius shook his head with a soft sigh when he saw her pull the blankets up over her. Listening to her question he couldn't help but smile. "I'm afraid I will my lady." Marius admitted. "I apologize my lady, but it would not do you any good to sleep all day. You will only become more tired." he explained honestly. Marius watched as Ona climbed out of bed to get dressed and smiled back at her warmly. He never cracked a smile in public but when it was just the two of them he assumed it was okay to smile at her. To think you have to kill her...well you won't, of course you won't. he thought to himself.
Listening to what she said, Marius smiled apologetically. "My apologies my Lady." he answered and watched her gather her clothes to leave to get dressed. Once she was dressed Marius looked at her attire and nodded in approval. This was their regular morning routine ever since he had shown up. He was surprised at how easily she had allowed him to get close to her and work for her but he was glad. He liked his job, to see her happy was what woke him up every morning. However, it wasn't always easy to make her smile. "Yes you are my lady." Marius agreed with a nod of his head. Marius watched her closely and fixed her hair before standing back to look at the little doll before him. "Shall we head downstairs for breakfast?" he asked. "I am afraid it is Lady Agnes." Eofe answered simply as she helped Agnes get dressed and brushed her hair. "Brush your teeth." she ordered and Agnes quickly did as she was told before smoothing out her dress. "Come now, you must be hungry Lady Agnes." Eofe suggested and looked out the window, her purple eyes fixed on the beautiful rainbow roses that appeared outside Agnes' window. Agnes nodded and noticed Eofe staring at something so she followed her gaze and gasped when she saw the flowers. Quickly she ran to her window and smiled at the flowers. "They're beautiful!" she gasped and had Eofe open the window just enough for her to reach out and gently touch a rose petal. Her eyes shone with happiness and she looked at Lon. "D-did you plant them?" she asked him curiously. Eofe only smiled at the little girl who was so happy over something so simple as a flower. |
"Of c-ourse." Lady said as her eye caught a hit of rainbow outside her window. She turned her head as she walked to her own window peering out at the almost endless beauty of rainbow roses. "It's like they appeared over night. Lon must have planted these up to his old tricks I see again. 'She said as a soft smile appeared on her lips for once. She allowed herself to enjoy the roses simple beauty as she open her window to get a better view. She laughed as a beautiful butterfly flew up from one of the rainbow roses floating around her. She held out her finger as the beautiful butterfly floated over to her finger and landed. The simple act made Lady smile as she gently kissed the butterfly being very gently with it. The butterfly seemed rather happy it's self and not one bit afraid of her.
" I remember you little one. You where the caterpillar that kept eating Lon's prized bushes. I saved you from Lon's wrath and brought you here and let you feed on my plants out here. I'm glad to see you made it. You are very beautiful. Thank you for visiting now go and enjoy the lovely day." She said to the beautiful butterfly in a kind voice. The butterfly seemed happy and floated up away from her finger. It floated up to her nose and gave her a kiss of shorts on her nose before heading out to enjoy the rainbow roses. Lady smiled happy from the encounter. She turned as she looked to Marius reaching out and taking his hand in both of hers as she started to pull him in a playful manner. " Come on Marius let's go have some fun today! I believe today is going to be a great day!" She said in a happy voice as she laughed for once acting like a child of her own age. Lon looked up as he heard a familiar voice witch made him grin without thinking about it. " Of course My Lady." He said bowing respectfully before he looked up to see Agnes there. He smiled warmly at her as he reached out and picked a few of the roses and started to weave them together. He then held out the crown he had made from them. " Here I think this would look lovely on you. The roses seem to really like you. See how they stand up and show their full bloom for you. You know flowers and plants can sense if people are good and bad. In some ways they have feelings to. I'd say that the flowers seem to really like you." He said as he smiled and held out the crown to her. |
Marius watched Ona and smiled. "Perhaps he did." he answered simply and followed her to the window where he simply stood beside her and watched over her. At least she was smiling, he was glad that she was happy right now. If this was how the day was starting off, then today was probably going to be a good day. Marius watched the butterfly land on her finger and listened to her speak to it. This was how she behaved with all living things, she was always so kind. Why would anyone want to kill such a sweet thing? Well the dark king needed her out of the way for the throne and the staff, but why? Wasn't he happy ruling the dark kingdom he resided in? Sometimes Marius didn't understand the dark king. He looked back at Ona when she spoke and blinked in surprise when she took his hands in both of hers and began to pull him around playfully. "M-my lady..!" he started but ended up laughing with her and nodded. "Very well my lady, but you must have some breakfast first. We cannot have fun on an empty stomach." Marius explained.
Agnes smiled at the male, "You did a beautiful job in making them grow so pretty like this. I've never seen rainbow flowers before." she commented as she watched him start to pick the flowers. She wasn't sure what he planned on doing but when she saw the finished product her smile couldn't be any bigger. "Look Eofe, he made a crown just for me!" she cried happily and accepted it. "Yes he did Lady Agnes, what do you say?" Eofe asked. Agnes looked at the male, "Thank-you very much, I love it!" she said and carefully put it on her head. It fit perfectly and she knew she wasn't going to be taking it off anytime soon. "The flowers like me?" Agnes repeated. She didn't know that plants had feelings too, but it was good to know. Now she would be very careful not to hurt them in any way. Sometimes when she would fall out in the garden she would crush a few plants, they probably cried before they died and she never even knew. "Do you plant other plants?" Agnes asked the male curiously, seeming to forget about breakfast. |
Lady smiled as she paused long enough looking at Marius for a moment. She had never asked his story or really got to involved with his reasons for appearing. He was odd but she figured he had his own reasons for the way he was. " You know I have never asked why you appeared here or why you chose to work here. You don't have to be so proper. I'm no princess or royalty. I don't really need any of that information from you either. I figure we all have our reasons. I am glad you came though! Having you around this place isn't so unbearable. Are you happy here? I'm sorry I've been so busy lately with the elders and people that I have failed to ask your feeling regarding your employment here. I know being suck with me isn't the dream job by any means. With all the crazy rules and Social Protocol. " She said as she smiled warmly at him honestly concerned about his well being and happiness. " I know you haven't been here long but the Elders did find you suitable quarters didn't they that you enjoy? " She asked hoping that they hadn't shoved him in a dusty old closet some where. There where plenty of rooms here and even better houses just outside of it.
Lor smiled seeing how happy the crown made Angnes. He was impressed hearing what she said. " Such a kind heart you have my Lady. The plants will appreciate it I have no doubt my Little Lady. And you are very welcome! " He said as he laughed hearing her ask about him planting any other plants. " Why of course , don't you know I'm in charge of the Royal guardians? Only the best of the best are allowed to work here. They have to know about every plant and how they grow. You don't get such a job by just watering. The flowers I grow here are used through out the world for potions and medicines to help people. Some of the plants here are one of a kind and date back to Queen Lilly and Queen Candy. That is why the royal families have always had a master caretaker for the gardens here. The white Lilly's that grow here by the lake are enchanted with magical properties and only grow here on the palace grounds." He said as he smiled at Agnes. " The Lillies are the only flower that can cure a magical illness that could lead to death. But they have to be picked at the right time by a person with a pure heart. The person has to offer a tear to them before they pick any. If not the Lilly's will simply die in the person's hand if picked in correctly or by a person with a dark heart. " He said as he thought about Queen Candy. "Ah yes and lets not forget about the Candy Ladies that where made by Queen Candy herself. They are enchanted as well and are the only flowers that can combat dark dream magic. " He said as he looked down at his own roses. " Not every person is good and has good magic. There are some who have dark magic and don't uses it for good things. The Candy Ladies are important because dream magic can be very strong. Imagine if someone you loved got put in a eternal sleep but instead of sweet dreams they only had nightmares. Or if Dark dream magic was used to form strong illusions. The Candy Ladies can be dried and ground into a powder to null any Dark dream magic. " He said as he smiled happy to tell about some of the plants that he cared for. " You see my job is very important. It's my job to keep all the plants around the world healthy and ensure that people learn the importance of each one so the plants wont vanish. That is why I leave at times for months or weeks. I am responsible for teaching and preserving, as well as experimenting. " he said as he looked down to his rainbow roses. " I'm surprised that the Elders have started teaching you about the plants here." He said honestly a little surprised. |
Marius looked at Ona as she stared at him. "What's the matter my lady?" he asked her. Listening to her, he only shook his head. "You must not worry about me, my lady. Oh but you are a princess! A princess who I am honored to be looking after." Marius explained and smiled warmly at her. "I am glad I came here as well, my lady." he answered and thought about her question. "Am I happy here?" he repeated and nodded, "Yes, I am quite happy being here. I understand you've been busy, it is part of being who you are and I am always willing to wait for you." Marius started. "You musn't speak so lowly about yourself. You are a joy to be around if I may be so bold to say the honest truth. I am honored that you are worried about me, but rest assured my sleeping quarters are nicer than I expected and I have no complaint." Marius answered truthfully.
Agnes listened with wide eyes and a large smile on her face, her ivory colored hair cascaded over her shoulders as she leaned over the window sill a little more to get a better look at the plants. A kind heart, her? "Thank-you very much for thinking so sir." Agnes thanked the man and wondered what his name was, surely it wasn't 'sir'. "oh...n-no I didn't know. I apologize." Agnes then frowned, feeling bad. It wasn't her fault though, she never remembered seeing him out in the gardens when she was out there. Perhaps she just wasn't paying close enough attention though. "So you are the best of the best sir? Well I think you are, I've never seen such lovely flowers before. You really are the best sir!" she chimed happily and listened carefully to what he was saying. She was genuinely interested in learning about what he did. "There are plants by a lake? C-can I see them?" she asked the man. "Lady Agnes, I am sure he will be happy to show you all the plants but you must make sure that you eat something first." Eofe reminded and smiled warmly at the little girl and at the man. Agnes pouted a little at what Eofe said but nodded and continued to listen to the man speak about the plants. "Wow..." she whispered in surprise. She didn't know that any plants had such powers. "So...like the boogeyman?" she asked curiously. She didn't like the boogeyman, he was a mean person that gave people nightmares. That's what she heard anyway. Oh so he left at times? That's probably why she never saw him before. He seemed like a nice person to talk to. It was a shame he was so busy. "I will ask the elders for lessons on the plants. I want to learn about all the plants. I did not know they had powers." she answered. |
Lady smiled as she nodded hearing him." Alright then but I'm a person so you don't have to act so uptight around me. Let's get some breakfast and see what the day holds shall we?" She asked as she smiled warmly and headed to the kitchen. She smiled as she took her place at the table sitting in her favorite white and blue chair. It was simple and elegant and it always made her smile. She smiled seeing the fresh flowers in the middle of the table. " It looks like Lon has been hard at work. " She said as she noticed that the others weren't around. " This is odd Agnes is always on her own time but Eofe is always on time. " She said wondering what had happen. " Well I hope everything is alright. " She said smiling looking at the beautiful white stone table. She was happy not having to eat in the over sized dinning room. She preferred the simple furnishing in the kitchen.
"Oh I see Little Lady, well then I look forward to our classes together. I guess you'll be my new student for a while then." Lon said as he smiled warmly at her before bowing respectfully at her. " I'm sorry for keeping you my Lady. If you talk to the Elders they'll send you my way. Most of them only know a few basics. They prefer to send all questions and students to me. Now be a good girl and if you want to see the flowers by the lake I'll be happy to show you. Now don't give the Lady there any issues and have a good day." He said to her as he smiled softly. |
His smile vanished, only a serious expression was on his face now. "My apologies, my lady." Marius answered and started to follow her close behind to the kitchen. Marius let her take her seat and then he stood back, giving her some space as he checked the time and wondered where the others were. "Yes, it seems he's always working." he commented and looked around but there was no sign of the other little child or Eofe. Where could they be? "Perhaps lady Agnes isn't feeling well and Miss Eofe is taking care of her?" Marius suggested.
Agnes gasped, "You're the teacher?!" she asked and clapped her hands, obviously happy to spend time with the nice stranger. "No! Don't be sorry mister, I enjoyed talking with you. No one ever talks to me...well except for Eofe and sometimes Ona...Marius doesn't really talk to me." she answered and smiled warmly at him. "I look forward to learning from you mister! I promise to be a very good girl mister! I will see you soon!" she promised and waved before running down the stairs towards the kitchen. Eofe laughed softly and looked at the male, "I will bring her out to the garden after breakfast sir, i am sure Lady Agnes will be looking forward to talking with you some more. Have a good day." Eofe said and walked out of there and towards the kitchen. |
Lady turned as she saw his smile vanish. " Why do you do that? Your smile is amazing you shouldn't hide it. Just be yourself Marius. You know some people might thing your mean or dislike them if you don't ever let them see you smile. I know your a good person at heart even if sometimes you doubt yourself. " She said as she turned her head hearing foot steps coming straight at them. She laughed knowing that was the sound of Agnes running. " Oh, I think she is fine. " She said as she laughed harder seeing how happy Agnes was this morning due to her run. " Come now Agnes don't run so fast you could hurt yourself! Tell me what has you so excited?" She asked happy to know that Agnes was happy.
Lon bowed and nodded hearing them. He frowned hearing the strange man's name. He didn't trust the new butler. No one knew anything about him except Little Ona. Everything about him was shrouded in darkness. Lon felt that the man had to easily accepted Ona's offer to work for her. It had bothered him how the man came to be there. And the strange fixation the man had with Ona herself. Strange things had started happening since this one man appeared. People where starting to suffer from nightmare poison. A rare effect of a person being attacked by dark dream magic. He had noticed that the man seeped to disappear at night when the attacks took place. He no proof but he didn't trust the so called butler. He narrowed his eyes not liking the idea of either of the future Queens with that man for long periods of time. He turned to leave as he turned seeing the gleam of a red jewel coming from Ona's room. She had left her staff again where robbers could come and steal it. He sighed as he headed to the kitchen to tell her once again. He walked inside and told the elders as they suddenly vanished heading right for the kitchen. Suddenly four elders appeared in the kitchen the happy atmosphere fading as their angry eyes locked onto Ona all at once. A fifth elder appeared from having went to her room using special cloth to hold the staff. Even then the staff seemed to fight the man as it glowed looking very angry that any but Ona had dared to touch it. " How many times must we tell you?" The head elder roared at Ona. " YOUR NOT A CHILD ANYMORE YOUNG LADY!" The man screamed at her making his anger at her very well known. " MAYBE IF YOU PRACTICE AS MUCH AS YOU AVOIDED CARRYING THIS STAFF YOU WOULD HAVE MASTERED ALREADY! YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO YOUR FAMILY AND THE PEOPLE HERE!" The man said as his temper seemed to rise even more his entire face blood red from anger at the girl. " PEOPLE ARE COUNTING ON YOU TO SAVE THEM! THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO WANT YOU DEAD AND THE ONLY THING THAT CAN SAVE YOU AND THE REST OF US IS THIS STAFF! STOP ACTING LIKE A SPOID BRAT! SO HELP ME CHILD YOU WILL LEARN TO ACCEPT YOUR ROLE!" The man said as the fifth elder threw the staff at Ona. |
Marius rose an eyebrow in confusion at what Ona was saying. "Well I apologize my lady." he started. "I will try to smile more often then if that is what you truly wish." he added. A good person at heart? You really think that little one? Well how sweet, I can't say I agree though."Thank-you my lady for thinking that about me. You are much too kind." Marius said softly and looked up when he heard the other little lady running towards the kitchen and bowed his head at her and at Eofe in greeting.
Agnes looked at Marius and smiled before sitting at the table. "I'm sorry Ona but I'm okay, I didn't get hurt." she said and giggled. "I met a man, he plants flowers and he said he would teach me all about the plants but I have to ask the elders for permission." she answered and looked up as the elders barged into the kitchen, looking very upset. She wanted to ask them for permission but hearing one of them yell at Ona made her shrink back into her seat and frown. No longer was she happy. Marius remained absolutely silent and still as he listened to the one elder yell at Ona for forgetting her staff. However, he found it unnecessary to make such a huge scene when they could easily speak to her in private. Marius narrowed his eyes and quickly moved to catch the staff before it could hit Ona and then handed it to here. "Here you are my lady." he said and turned back to the elders. "That was unnecessary. You could have met with her in private, not yell at her this way. For goodness sake you are frightening lady Agnes." Marius spoke seriously. "There is no need to be throwing things either, you could have hurt her and I know it is not my place to tell you how to do your job but my job is to care for my lady and I will do so even if it means I have to raise my voice against you." he added and wondered if hiving these men nightmares would teach them a lesson. |
Lady was surprised as she saw her staff suddenly turn red before she took it. She noticed that it really hadn't hurt Marius like it did to others. She was right there must be some good in him. Her eyes locked onto Lon as she saw him there. She said nothing as the elder stomped away very infuriated with everything that had happen. She waited until they left as she stood her eyes narrowed seeing her answer to how the elders knew she had left her staff in her room. " Anything else you want to tell the elders Lon? " She said as she felt her temper starting to rise as she stared at the man. " So it's not enough that you sneak around trying to find issues with Marius now you are going to start helping to get me in more trouble. " She said as a very faint red glow came from some of the red jewels.
"I-my Lady I thought you had forgot your staff I didn't expect you to get in trouble as you did. I was just afraid that someone would try and steal it. You shouldn't leave it that is very important." He said as he frowned hearing her he cut his eyes to Marius narrowing them as he could tell that Lady would never believe him about his issues with the man. He hung his head as he bowed. "I-I'm sorry my Lady." He said knowing that he was in a bad position with Ona. His eyes cut to her staff as he saw a faint glow from the red jewels. He was surprised as he saw the glow. " L-Lady look." He said seeing the red glow. Lady felt her temper rise as she threw out her hand forward. " What?" She yelled as suddenly a massive gust of wind shot out from her hand sending Lon flying out of the kitchen and down the hall into the throne room. Lady's eyes widen as she looked down at her hand confused. She had never shown any sign of magic or power. "Wha-what just happen?" She asked looking at her hand. |
Lon...so that was the man's name. He was the one that got Ona in trouble? That couldn't be right, he was a very kind man. Well that's what Agnes thought anyway. When the elders left, Agnes sat up in her chair and looked over at Lon worriedly. He was in a lot of trouble with Ona now.
"Issues with me?" Marius repeated and looked at Lon, giving him only an evil smirk. So this man knew more about him than Marius thought. Well then, he'd just have to be careful around this man. He didn't need him telling Ona what he knew. Besides, Marius was incapable of hurting Ona. He never had and never would. "Now now, My lady. You need to relax and enjoy some breakfast." he said and looked to Eofe who nodded and left to bring out the breakfast to the table. When Lon was thrown into the other room however, Marius' eyes went wide and he looked at Ona. She really was a powerful little thing and she didn't even know it. "I believe this is what the elders were talking about my lady." he answered and watched as Agnes ran off. Seeing Lon get thrown out of the room, Agnes quickly jumped out of her chair and ran after him. "MISTER!" she yelled and continued running until she found him again. "Oh goodness!" she gasped and tried to help him up by grabbing one of his hands in both her tiny hands and trying to pull him up. "Mister are you alright? Are you hurt?" she asked and frowned. "I am sorry that happened, b-but Ona didn't hurt you on purpose I assure you." she promised. |
Lon was surprised being sent flying through the air. He was feeling the pain of the throw when he felt little hands trying to help him up. He smiled warmly seeing little Anges there. " Oh, I am fine Lady Agnes. Thank you for your concern. It's ok lady Anges I know Ona didn't mean to. It will take much more than that to kill me." He said as he laughed honestly impressed with Ona's attack. He laughed as he smiled up at little Anges. He slowly got up as he sat for a moment before moving to his feet. He dusted himself off as he gently took little Anges hand. " It's alright I know she didn't means so. But I am happy to see she finally showed some signs of her powers. Come Lady Anges let's get you to breakfast. He said leading her back to the kitchen. He smiled and laughed a little as he saw the look of confusion on Ona's face.
"I....I don't understand ." Lady said as she frowned a little. " I....." She sighed and looked up about to go check on Lon when she saw him coming back laughing . " I'm sorry. " She said as she looked at her hand again. She wondered if it was her. She sighed as she took her seat again figuring it would be better to eat and try to have a normal day. However she couldn't get her mind off her hand and what had happen. Was it really her. She looked to Marius she was confused about everything. She wondered if Marius had done something. " Why don't you all join us for breakfast." She said knowing that it would make Anges happy to have Lon around. He seemed to have struck her fancy. After what happen she felt bad. Lon felt he had been doing the right thing by telling the Elders. She sighed as she stared at Anges. " Have you been telling her about the flowers? So are the Candy Ladies being used by the local doctors more like you suspected they would?" She asked as she looked to Lon. " I've heard that it was you that had cured the sick people around here apparently nightmare poison. " She said as she looked at him. " I thought that dream magic died with the great queens. " She said softly as she stared at the man. |
Agnes stared at Lon and was glad to see that he didn't look like he was hurt badly. "Well that's good to know mister." she said and laughed happily. Agnes did her best to pull the man up to his feet and ended up falling down in the process but she quickly stood back up and smoothed out her dress after dusting herself off. Her hand rested in his and she walked with him back to the kitchen happily. When they arrived at the kitchen, she noticed that Eofe had already served the breakfast for the day. When Agnes suggested they all eat breakfast together, Agnes grinned and looked at Eofe then at Lon and Marius. She hoped they would accept the invitation. "I think that is a great idea!" she said and took her seat again. Eofe remained standing. If the others would eat she was going to go get their plates as well.
Marius glanced at Lon then looked at Ona. "Eat with you?" he repeated and kept a serious look on his face. "If that is what you with my lady." he said and helped Eofe get the plates for them, he was assuming Lon would be joining them as well so he made sure they got three plates on the table and Eofe served the breakfast on the other three plates. Marius took his seat near Ona and looked back at Lon, wondering if he would eat with them. It wasn't like the man had a choice any more though. |
"Of course." Lon said as he smiled and took his seat in between Agnes and Ona. He smiled as he looked at the food that Eofe had made for them. "Thank you my lady." He said to Eofe as his eyes suddenly locked on Marius for a moment as he froze. He stared at him not to sure about the man. However he looked over at Ona and could see she was set on this man for better or worse at lest she had her staff. He looked at her still wondering if she really could use her power of if it had been a fluke. He wanted to test her but he had a feeling that with Marius around he wouldn't have the chance. Though there was one way to see what the man was made of really. He wondered what weapon the man used for battle.
His attention turned however to Agnus as he smiled at her. " Thank you for your kindness." He said before eating his own meal. He paused as he thought about what Ona had asked him. " The Candy Ladies are fine and yes I have been giving them left and right to the doctors here. Dark dream magic is the cause and sadly it is still around. You see Queen Candy's bloodline are not the only bloodline to have Dream magic in it. There are those of darker bloodline where Dark dream magic thrives." He said as he eyes landed on Marius having said his words. " It's said that in the darker part of the world another kingdom has risen. It's important for you to know about this kingdom because they are the ones out to kill you and Lady Agnus." He said his eyes narrowing as he kept them on Marius. " It was one of their attacks that ended the rules of your parents. You can tell where one of them have been they leave a trail of Nightmare poison in their wake. Just like their ancestor there is no good in them. They hate the light in any form it comes and are completely corrupted by darkness. If you see one then run they have no heart and will kill everything in their path. That is why those staffs you hate are important. Together with those staffs you are the only way to combat the darkness of those in the dark kingdom. That is why the elders are so hard on you both. The deaths of your parents struck fear in the hearts of every person here. For once people saw how weak they where against the dark kingdom. Your parents where betrayed by one they had trusted. That is why the elders don't trust anyone new and why there is great suspicion of your companion there. Before you lash out at all those here who speak against him. Remember your parents did the same thing and look what happen to them. Strange thing is the man was blacked haired too and even had black wings I heard." He said narrowing his eyes at Marius remembering the man he had saw once before his sleep. Lady stared at Lon as she heard what he had to say. She looked down at her food as he finished not wanting to look up. She finally forced herself to look up as she looked to Marius. " He has done nothing wrong and just because he has dark hair doesn't mean he is evil. I really don't know about my parents and their mistakes. If there is nightmare poisoning going on as you say then we should try and find out who is behind it and stop it. Or would you like the Elders here have Agnus and I go and face the person alone. We are children and no one here seems to care about that fact. All you want is some divine intervention and all of the problems to go away. Well your out of luck. I'm nothing like the Queens of old. And as the Elders have said I'm a disgrace. I don't even belong here. So what if I die I'm already a disgrace. It's not like the world is missing much. I've....lost my apatite. " She said as she suddenly got up leaving the kitchen. She headed out of the palace as she headed outside. |
Marius looked at Lon with a blank expression, what was the man staring at him for? Marius listened to Lon and noticed that Lon was still staring at him cooly as he said his story. What was he trying to say? Marius narrowed his eyes as he stared at him. This man was smart, he probably knew the truth behind him already and would probably tell the elders and Ona. But would anyone really believe him? Did he know that he used dark dream magic? Had he possibly seen him out at night?! Marius was going to have to be much more careful from now on. So everyone was suspicious of him...well this was very good to know. He felt her eyes on him and glanced down at her, was she going to believe him? He couldn't help but smirk when she said he was a good man and that he wasn't evil. Good girl... he thought to himself but didn't like the way she spoke about herself. When she rose and left, Marius sighed and glared at Lon. "Are you happy? You upset a poor little girl." he said. "I do not appreciate you telling the girls here that I am evil and am out to kill them. I am offended that you would think that I'd be capable of such a thing." he said and stood from the table and approached Lon. "I would be very careful if I were you, what if one of those dark magic users hears you? Well, they'd hunt you down and get rid of you." Marius whispered quietly so only Lon could hear before leaving outside. "My Lady?" he called out.
Agnes listened in silence as she enjoyed her meal and watched Ona leave and then Marius short after. It was then that she spoke up. "Mister, do you think Marius is a bad person?" she asked him curiously. "He does frighten me. He never smiles and he rarely talks. I am afraid of him, one never knows what he is thinking but he seems to show Ona kindness." Agnes commented. "Well Lady Agnes, if I may voice my opinion on the mysterious man; I believe he may just be the silent type. He is probably very serious all the time because he only wants lady Ona to be safe." Eofe commented. |
Lady stopped in mid step as she stared up at the sky seeing a strange figure moving with great speed from building to building. She froze as suddenly the figure slammed into the ground before her making her scream out in surprise as she shielded her face with her hands as the debris fell from the sky around her as the dust cloud started to settle. She slowly open her eyes as she saw a young girl standing in the middle of the crater. The girl looked strange as Lady studied her and felt fear as she saw the girl's eyes. They where solid black there was no life in them at all. She shifted her attention to the screams of guards who appeared from the city having apparently been chasing the girl the entire time.
Lady stared in horror as wings appeared from the girl suddenly she turned and faced the armada of solider with no fear. Lady watched as the girl waved her hand out across her body a black mist coming from her hand as she did so engulfing all of the soldiers in the black mist. The soldiers hit the ground screaming in main even though there was nothing there but the black mist. The girl turned her head suddenly having heard Lady stepping back snapping a branch that had fallen behind her from the sudden impact of the girl. Arius turned her eyes fixating on a young girl no older than 12 it appeared behind her. The girl could be younger however her age did not mater to Arius herself. She had one job to do child or not she would achieve her goal. She held out her hand to her side as suddenly white feather appeared in the air taking aim at the young girl. She moved her hand forward as the feather shot forth aiming right for the small girl. Arius was surprised as her feathers made contact with the girl making her scream out in pain as blood dripped to the ground from the girls new wounds on her arms. Arius was surprised that her feathers had missed killing the girl and only appeared to scrap the outside of her arms. She never missed it was as if something had been shielding her. Arius held out her hand once again as more feathers appeared. She paused for a moment seeing a large white staff with red jewels in it being held by the small girl. She froze for a moment staring at the girl and the staff. " Could it be?" She said staring at the pain in wonder and awe. " The staff and use are suppose to be powerful. The staff is suppose to protect the heir. There is no way this little girl is a heir." She said as she sent another wave of feather towards Lady this time planning on hitting her mark and cutting the little girl down to size. Lon looked to Agnus as he smiled softly at her. " I honestly don't trust him and its for my own reasons. I'm not a liberty to discuss why as must as I wish I was. " He said looking down at his hand where the strange marking started on his body. The ran up his arms and down to his feet. He had one that was visible on the left side of his neck. If the people hadn't forgotten the stories from their elders they would know his markings showed who he was and what he was. However no one every figured out that he was the guardian spirit of the land. Not since the last king and Queens. People had forgot about him and he knew that if the darkness found out he was still alive they would stop at nothing to own him and make him do their bidding. He feared that is what they had done to Opal when he had heard her screams upon waking. His markings where variations of greens making them stand out. There was hints of blue and white in them making them truly one of a kind. No one to this day could reproduce them though many had tried finding them oddly beautiful. He stared at his markings thinking about Marius and his face. He had seen Marius face before long a go. It had belonged to a descendant of darkness. He looked up suddenly as he heard screams and felt the ground shake slightly. " Lady Angus you stay inside and let me find out what is going on." He said as he bolted from the table and head outside. He stared outside as he saw Ona on the ground holding onto her staff blood was dripping from her arms as a strange girl held out her hand strange white feathers hovering in mid air pointed at Ona. |
Marius heard her scream and quickly ran towards the sound. He noticed her on the floor bleeding with Lon beside her and a strange girl taking aim. Quickly, he sent a wave of dark sand towards the feathers, quickly dissolving them. He wasn't going to let anyone hurt her. Right now he could care less that he was showing his true self, he needed to protect Ona. Making a wave of black feathers appear, he sent them towards the girl, hoping that at least one would hit her. If it did, she'd be poisoned.
Agnus listened to Lon with great interest while she and Eofe enjoyed their breakfast. Agnes really liked hearing Lon speak, it was so calming his voice. It was easy to see that he was a good man. Agnes looked at a strange marking on his neck, she never asked what that was or why he had it, she believed that was too much of a personal question to ask someone. When he spoke again, Agnes blinked. "B-but what about-!" she started and sighed as she watched him leave after hearing a scream. The scream sounded like it was from Ona! Trying to stand, she fell down as the ground shook. "Lady Agnes, please be careful!" Eofe said and frowned as she held onto the table as the ground shook. "I wonder what caused such a thing." she said and when the shaking stopped, she helped Agnes back up and ordered for everything to be cleaned up then took Agnes' hand and quickly ran to Agnes' room. "My lady I believe this is the only safe place right now." she said. "B-but Ona!" Agnes whined. "Lon and sir Marius will bring Lady Ona back here safely. We cannot be outside right now, it's much too dangerous!" Eofe said seriously. |
Arius smiled as she saw a wave of dark sand dissolve her beautiful white feathers. Her eyes widen slightly as she stared at the blacked hair man with interest. " Do not interfere earth spirit. I'm not here for you this time." Arius said in her beautiful cold voice as she leaped in the air suddenly as held out both her arms as she started to sing. Suddenly a purple mist appeared and expanded out form her. It suddenly engulfed the entire area making Marius feathers vanish instantly. The mist made a purple wing tattoo appear on Marius fore arm causing all of his magic to be rendered useless. The song and mist made Lon's marking glow brightly as his body seemed to glow a soft green aura coming from his body as if fought the mist.
Arius laughed as she stared at Marius. " Oh my you don't know who I am? You really are a child to think you can battle me. I was raised by her royal majesty Apocaliptica. I am no normal subject. I have been raised and breed for my majesties will. Your dark magic is strong however you knowledge is lacking. Strange you almost remind me of the Prince however he hasn't been seen in several years. The question is who are you." Arius said as she held out her hand once again her white feathers appearing as she suddenly pointed at Marius. Suddenly the feather shot forward heading right for Marius. However suddenly the feathers split into three groups. Suddenly the two groups on opposite sides slammed into Marius cutting his arms like they had Ona. The last group heading right for Marius head and torso. Lady looked up as she saw Marus. " NO Marus she'll hurt you!!!" She yelled as she watched two group of white feathers suddenly slam into Marus. "h-ow did she do that?" Lady asked seeing another group heading right for Marus. " Run Marus please!!! I don't want you hurt!" She screamed out as tears streamed down her face worried that she might lose the one person she cared for her. " Please you stupid staff if you are powerful then save Marus!" She said holding onto the staff still. She stared at it seeing that it showed no sign of answer her call. It made her cry more as she tried to stand not wanting to see Marus hurt because of her. "No leave him alone!" She yelled trying to find the strength to stand up. Lon stood tall as he stared at Arius how did she know who and what he was? What did she mean not to interfere with this battle. He stared at Marus as he looked at the purple mist. " You'll have to use a physical attack to defeat her or damage her. She had the advantage now against you! She used Nightmare Song it renders any dark magic useless in battle with her. Right now your a sitting duck unless you can get up close and land a physical blow to her body. !" He shouted as he ran to Ona wrapping his arms around her protecting her from the purple mist. He threw out a pouch that glowed a bright pink at Marus. " Here this is Candy Ladies they can combat her dark magic. Use this on your weapons to hurt her. If you attack her with something covered in the powder it will render her dark magic useless and give you the upper hand." He said trying to be helpful as he saw the tears falling down Ona's face. |
Marius narrowed his eyes at the girl as he stood protectively in front of Ona. He didn't like teh sound of that song, he knew she was using it against him, but what did it cause? When he saw that it made his feathers vanish he growled angrily, this was just great. "I'm sorry but did I ask to know who you are?" Marius said plainly. When she mentioned his sister's name, he smirked. "Ah I see, my silly sister sent you over?" he asked and shrugged. "I don't care. She should know better than to stick her nose where it isn't needed." Marius muttered and tried to used his magic but noticed nothing was happening. He cursed under his breath when a feather cut his arm and quickly rolled out of the other feathers' way. It was then that he heard what Lon said and sighed. "Just great.." he muttered and caught the pouch in his hands. "Thanks...now get her back inside!" he ordered. "Go!" he yelled and focused on the girl, or at least tried to. He hated seeing Ona cry but her safety was his top priority.
|
Lon closed his eyes as he let out a angry scream slamming one of his hands to the ground. Suddenly a green aura expanded from his body trapping Arius in the area along with himself and the entire palace. " Elacome forth and defend the palace!" He yelled as a bright green gem glowed from his chest. Suddenly the ground shook as a lovely green tree sprouted before Marius. Green plants sprouted around the tree as a spirit appeared suddenly from the tree her sword drawn. She looked ready for battle as she threw at her own hand vines suddenly heading for the sky and wrapping around Arius. " Lon himself knelt down as he looked at little Ona. He put his hand over her open wound on her left shoulder as he spoke. " Shh don't worry little one I have no plan of letting anyone take your precious life. All life is precious and worth fighting for." He said as a green glow came from his hand suddenly a wave of green light flooded the area as life filled everything but Arius causing her to scream from pain. The flowers and plants around the area grew large full of life their blooms where beautiful. Even Marius own wounds where healed from the healing pulse Lon had used.
Lady looked up as she felt a strange power coming from Lon. She started at in in wonder as she saw the green light come from his body. She felt his power and felt peace for the first time in a long time. She stared at him as she looked to her arm seeing that her wounds where gone. She felt better than she had in a long time. Her eyes shifted as she saw a beautiful earth spirit appear before Marius acting as a guard for him. She looked to Lon as she saw his marking and then to all the plant life. Something came to her mind as she stared at him. A story from long ago of the earth spirit Cypress. He was a mythical being that was the embodiment of the land and endowed with the power of life it's self. He was the only being who could summon the spirits of the land and knew their names. "C-ypress." She whispered as she stared at his markings remembering from the book the strange green markings on the painting of Cypress. They where a identical match to Lon's. However before she could say anything she heard screams making her turn to look at Arius once again. Arius let out a scream from being hit by the the healing pulse that Lon had used. Steam was coming off her body as it was easy to see his magic had caused great damage to her. " No....how....Your not suppose to be awake." She said as she looked at her hand seeing the vines wrapped around them. She open her eyes wider as suddenly white feathers appeared and sliced the vines into pieces making Ela summon a wall of rock to protect Marius. However Arius dark magic shattered the rock and sent Ela to the ground pinning her there as Arius suddenly turned the tables draining Ela of her own magic. The poor girl screamed from pain as she suddenly burst into lovely cherry blossoms. Arius glared as she hated being in Lon's barrier. Under his barrier any dark magic use's magic was cut in half. " Foolish man! Stronger than I thought. My master will love to hear this." She said as she stared at Marius. She then laughed as she thought about what he had said. " There is no way you are related to my dear master! No decedent of the royal line would dare stand here and protect such a weak girl. It's not like she is the royal heir here. I mean come on the staff doesn't even work for her." She said laughing. " This is really sad where is the mighty ruler any how? Leave a small child to do their dirty work really how low. But if I have to kill you and that child to get the ruler to come out then I shall. Besides no prince would dare to come here and stay. My lady would have known by now. She and her bother where very close. I take offense that you dare use his name he was a great man! He would never fail or let his family down! You are a disgrace and will pay for daring to compare yourself to the Prince!!!!" |
Marius almost fell over from the ground shaking again due to Lon's hand slamming down on it. He noticed something had appeared in front of him, a girl of sorts. She looked odd, as if she was a plant herself. Marius took a deep breath and noticed the tattoo was gone, so he tested his magic and was surprised to see it was working, so he looked toward the far off mountains and smirked. "Bjorn! Get over here now!" he yelled and sent a dark feather towards the mountain. It wasn't long before loud galloping could be heard approaching them and shaking the earth. A centaur stood beside Marius now, looking as grumpy as ever. Marius reached into the pouch and pulled out his personal weapon and glared at Arius. This was getting too personal and Marius wasn't liking it at all. "SHUT UP!" he yelled. "She IS my sister! I hate her! We were close once but not anymore and we will NEVER be!" he hissed angrily and ordered Bjorn to help out Ela. Marius focused on Arius and readied his weapon, her words stung badly. Was he really a disgrace to the family? "I said SHUT UP!" Marius yelled and swung his chained scythe towards Arius.
Agnes kept falling over every time she tried to walk, the earth kept shaking and then stopping. "What's going on outside?" she asked on the brink of tears, she was getting very scared. "I do not know, but I just hope it's over soon." Eofe answered and wondered if lady Ona, Lon, and even Marius was okay because she hadn't seen them come back after leaving outside. "Perhaps I should go and look for them.." she said to herself and looked at Agnes who looked terrified. "Would you like some tea to calm you down Lady Agnes?" she asked. Agnes clutched her staff and nodded. "Y-yes please." she answered and watched as Eofe carefully headed towards the kitchen. |
Arius was surprised as she laughed as she easily avoided his attack. " Not bad foolish boy but not good either. If that's how you want to play so be it." She said as suddenly seven copies of herself appeared around him as they all held the same grin on their lips. They all breathed in unison as they moved like mirror images. Suddenly a fortress of white feathers surrounded Marius it was easy to see that Arius herself was no longer playing games. She intended to kill Marius now. There was over a hundred feathers surrounding him. She had no intent on missing. Suddenly she let them all go as the copies of herself did the same sending the feathers down at Marius. She didn't need her full strength to kill this foolish boy.
Ona herself let out a scream as she wiggled free from Lon's arm that he had used to restrain her. She ran forward and leaped in the air as she held up her staff determined to defend Marius. He was one of the few people she cared about. In what little time they had been together she had formed a strong bond with him and trusted him with her life. Now it was her turn for him to trust her with his life. For once she didn't feel fear where it should be as she saw all the feathers coming straight at her. Instead she found peace as she closed her eyes and thought about Marius and all the good he had brought in her life and why she wanted to fight for him. Suddenly a blinding red light came from her staff as the feathers where incinerated instantly. Suddenly the light took form as Ona was changed into her inhearet form the Lady of Light. She hovered in the air as suddenly a bright light came from her the sky was filled with lovely warm lights as the air seemed to be full of hope. Slowly the white haired beauty open her eyes for the first time as she stared at the injured Arius who was no on the ground back in her crater barely able to hold herself up. The white haired beauty started at Arius with kindness and mercy in her eyes. Her regal presence made her look even more majestic as she flew closer to where Arius half laid on the ground shuttering looking up at the white haired beauty. Suddenly two different spirits appeared on each side of the white haired beauty. One was of Queen Lilly herself and the other was of Opal. It was easy to see that both of them made up the white haired beauty. " I am the keeper of time and of knowledge. I am the light in the darkness. I am the Queen of this land and it's keeper. I am the Lady of Light. All darkness will shutter before me and will know the power of love, hope, and goodness. You have come here seeking me so now you have found me. However it's not my time yet so I can not let you win this battle. I'm sorry but your time is over." The white haired beauty said along with the two spirits at the same time. Suddenly the three held the silver cross like staff as they pointed it at Arius. They shouted a spell and a bright light hit Arius. When it faded Arius had turned back into a small child. Suddenly she vanished in a poof of black smoke. Lady of Light turned as she looked down at Marius. " Your heart is true that we all see. But she is right you need knowledge. Power alone will only get you so far. Do not worry when the young heir wakes she will not remember any of this and no harm will be done to her. Until she is ready to master her powers she will have no control of this form. However she has suffered greatly on our behalf so I think it's time we make the little heir more confident in herself. Lady of Light said as she smiled and held out her hands as suddenly the entire planet almost was bathed in a warm gently light. All of the dark magic that had been used on people and beings suddenly vanished as everything was bathed in holly light healing and repairing. The land was anew as people all screamed as Lady of Light suddenly flew around the capital city allowing everyone to see her and her staff. She smiled at them then flew back to the palace as she looked to Lon and Marius. " You will fight more like her soon enough. Instead of hating each other work together. You both have the same goals. Do not worry if you are in dire trouble we will come again to the heirs aid. She really love you." Lady of Light said as she stared at Marius closing her eyes suddenly as she kissed her closed hand. Suddenly she open her eyes and open her hand as a black gem appeared from her hand and floated to Marius. " This is the legendary gem of Ping and Heath. It is said that it holds great power in enchanting items as well as smithing it's self. I believe that this will be of use to you young one. Do not worry we want tell the young heir your secret. But know some day you will have to tell her. If you need us for guidance then call up on us. But be warned that when you summon us you will hurt the heir. She is not strong enough in her skills and magic to hold our form for long without great harm to herself. So use us sparingly. Do not be surprised if she sleeps for days after this. What little power of ours we did use her body is no conditioned to handle. She will be very weak for weak after this. It is your job to teach her the skills she needs and to master her magic. So that she can become one with us and inherit our powers and knowledge and not rely on us alone. " Lady of Light said as she smiled then suddenly vanish along with Opal and Lilly. Little Lady floated in the air as her staff returned to normal. Her body was unharmed as she softly landed on the ground apparently in a deep sleep. However brushes started to appear across her body from using the inherit form before she was even ready. She was going to pay for quiet a while for summoning the Lady of Light before she was ready to. Lon's mouth fell open at everything as he tried to understand what had happen. He felt his heart leap for joy seeing Opal again. However he frowned hearing the warning that was given. He ran to Ona as she landed softly on the ground and frowned as he saw the sudden bruises forming on her body. He didn't dare touch her as he felt a mixture of emotions flood him. He himself suffered from his own curse but with his at lest he couldn't die if Ona wasn't careful she could die by summoning the Lady of White before she was ready to. He looked to Maruis surprised by the gem the Lady of Light had given him. He wasn't sure what to make of any of this. So he was right Ona was the rightful Queen at lest one of them. He turned as he looked to the palace thinking of Agnus. " Lady Agnus." He said as he frowned. He held up his hand as suddenly the crater vanished from the palace grounds and everything returned to normal. He sighed as he stood there for a moment looking back at sleeping Ona. " I guess none of us are going to be safe here long. I don't believe that we can hide much longer. I thought had seen your face before and it looks like I was right about you. However apparently so was Ona. I had seen your great great grandfather he had your face but not your heart. He had tried to kill the Kings and Queens the last time I was awoken. I had fought with him and cut one of his beloved black wings. However he managed to kill my beloved Princess and sister. He didn't live long after. Unfortunately as part of my curse I know more about plants than any. Candy Ladies are poisonous to Dark magic users and so are the Enchanted Lillies. I had covered my spear in both it only took one cut. " He said as he looked pained remembering the princess he had loved like his own sister. " If you haven't figured out who I am by now I'm sure you will eventually. I will go fix ointments and tea to help Ona heal faster and to make the pain go away. I suggest you hide your weapon and be a little kinder to Lady Angus. She thinks you hate her. You should try and smile at her. I believe it would be a believable story to tell Lady Angus that Lady Ona here fell out of a tree trying to climb it. I will leave her in your care. " He said as he open his eyes and looked at Marius. " You should invite Lady Angus to fix Ona's hair while she sleeps or help her create something for Ona. It would help Lady Angus feel better about you and make Ona happier. Ona loves Lady Angus and since you love Ona it's only right that you show love for Angus. Just don't get to close to her. I may be young but I wasn't born yesterday. I don't really trust you a hundred present as of yet. However for Opal and Ona's sake I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. But prove me wrong and I'll have a matching set of black wings to put on my walls. |
