::My eyes widened and i blushed immensely "You, like me?" i twirled my hair through my index finger and looked at the floor. "i'm not that different than everyone else..." I grew more nervous and thought "does he know? and hes just not saying anything..? is he toying with me?"

I smiled "oh yeah, they said they had enough kids working though, they were looking for some adults to work full time."she totally made that up. I walk up to him and I look into his eyes "You dont have to walk me home, i've troubled you enough" i p[planned on just flying home... and put the first aid kit back where it belonged in the room. Suddenly the lights went out and i shrieked, there was a timer for the lights to go out, and I was never here after school this long before.

Kane laughed.
"Of course I like you, you're feeding me aren't you? Juri calls me a stray all the time, says anyone that feeds me once is stuck with me forever because I keep coming back for more."
He watched he leave to replace the first aid box, and while she was gone, he managed to change back into his uniform...well, uniform pants at least. he left the shirt off so that he only wore his tight black tank, he liked the rain and was going to have fun walking home in it. When Risa got back he was going to haul her out the front door anyway, he never took no for an answer when he was worried about someone. But then the lights went out and he heard a shriek...he sighed and startde for the door...only to bang his shin...twice on the desks around him..and ram into the doorframe.
"Risa..." He called holding his nose.
"Are you okay? I think I'm blind." He hoped the joke would calm her down...why was she so skittish?

::I sigh "Oh, right, the food thing... i forgot" i chuckeled.
The room was dimly lit as i looked around "Kane? are you okay?" I heard the slam and looked around for him, but didnt see him anywhere. I panicked and headed for the light switch, flicking it on and off, but the lights didnt come back on::

Kane heard the flicking and turned..he wasn't that far away.
"Stay there." He told her.
"I don't want to run into you in the dark." Now what he didn't tell her, is that, that wouldn't be such a bad thing...falling over one another's feet into the darkened classroom...true he'd been known to flirt with anything that had a pulse and double X's but...for some reason he really didn't want Risa out of his sight. He almost felt..like he needed to stay by her...that...that something might try to harm her...beacause she was as special as he claimed. He narrowed his eyes in the dark. He wouldn't let them get that chance.

::I closed my eyes and just wished the lights would go back on "Ok Kane, Ill stay right here. I'm right near the chalkboard, if you can see me..." I rustled my wings under my clothes, knowing that if i were to flap them my body would produce light, but I didnt want to show him-or anyone- my secret. They ached, from being so tied up so close to my body for so long. I longed to bring them out and exercise them. I heard his footsteps and just waited for him to find me.::

Kane shuffled around making his way back to the chalkboard...obviously he'd been wrong heading for the door...and he hit his shin..again on the same desks as before walking to her. He held his hands out in front of him so that he wouldn't bump into her and knock her down, but then his hands met with her back....or...he thought it was her back. His eyes widened as he felt along her shoulders and up her head..yep it was her back but what was those two long lumps he'd felt? He shrugged it off and turned her around.
"See? That wasn't so bad was it?"

[I have to eat dinner real fast dont leave *cry*]

::I hear the desks move again with a bang, then i feel his warm hands on my wings and my eyes widen "Oh god no!!!" i think to myself and just close my eyes tightly. Im turned around by him and i look into his face "are you alright??? i heard alot of banging around..."::

Kane just scratched the back of his head grinning like an idiot.
"Yeah...um...that banging...was me...I think I scraped my shin....again." He chuckled and soon the lights flickered back on. He looked back at Risa and nodded.
"I think that it's time that we head home...don't want another incident like before." He leaned in close to her face looking straight into her eyes.
"And I'm walking you home...no if's and's, or but's about it missy."

::"Is your shin bleeding?? Do you want me to look at it?"

I felt his warm breath on my face and got flustered, again. "Ok, whatever you say, I just have to get my things ready" i felt a bit uncomfortable with him so close to me, and having just touched my wings unknowingly, i thought "Now he definitely knows, im so screwed...." I slip away from him swiftly and pack my backpack- it rained even harder now and i breathed a sigh of relief to be a bit far away from him::

Kane shook his head.
"No just skinned that's all." He thunked her head lightly.
"Quit worrying so much Risa, I'm a big boy." He smiled but as she walked away to pack her things it faded, he leaned against the doorframe and cocked his head as he crossed both his arms and legs.
"You're still scared of me aren't you? That's why you've been so skittish today."

::I blush and look at him "im sorry, i just worry alot, thats all" i stick out my tongue and continue packing my things.
I look over at him waiting for me at the door. I close my messenger bag and sling it over my shoulder and walk up to him "Im sorry, im not one to trust people, thats all. Ive been betrayed....alot and i keep my secrets and my personal life to myself usually. When i push people away, they usually give up on me, but you just keep coming back" i smile at him. "ready?"::

Kane's smile faded altogether. She always seemed so happy. When she asked if he was ready he took hold of her shoulder and leaned her against the doorframe.
"You right I keep coming back. I'll always come back no matter what." He stared at her, not forcing her to stay there, just keeping a hand on her shoulder with enough force that might have been required to shut a door.
"I'm not letting you get away with keeping to yourself any more...you were the first person to actually yell at me you know that?" He smirked as if the thought was amusing.
"It takes guts for a girl to do that to a guy with my reputation." He turned to the door and offered her his arm playfully.
"Well M'lady, shall I walk you to your abode?"

::I grew flustered, once again with him touching me so playfully and, once again, up so close to me. "Kisa would kill to be in my shoes right now" i said to him.
I looked into his eyes, with sad ones of my own, my smile faded, i thought "if only i were normal, this would all be okay..." I sigh deeply, and he let me go. I look at him as he walked into the hallway, offering me his arm. I tuck mine in with his and walk along side him.::

Outside was wetter than he'd imagined...Kane grimaced. He left Risa on the stairs to race out into the rain and rip a leaf from one of the elephant ear bushes and race back to hold it over her dry head.
He smiled.
"I use these things all the time, never had to buy an umbrella and they sound better." He placed it out in the rain a moment listening to the patter on the green and then moved it back.
"See?"

::I smile at him, now that hes soaking wet from running though the pounding rain to get the leaf for me, i walked under it, very close to him so i could share. "My house is only 2 blocks away...you dont need to walk me you know" I started walking with him, the bottom of my pants and my feet were already soaked.::

He looked down, she was getting soaked...walking like this would take forever and it wasn't nearly as much fun...he smiled and handed the leaf off to her and then swooped her up to carry her, taking care that her skirt was tucked bewteen his arms and her legs.
"You're right...this is much more fun." He smiled and took off running at a steady pace turning where Risa told him to.

::My face turnt bright red, my wings were pressed against his arms and chest i didnt know if i should struggle to get out of his grasp, or just let him go on what he wanted to do. I gave up and just leaned my head on his shoulder, i put my around around his neck, his hair dripped into my face, but I didnt mind. "its 1401 Neko ave..." i still held on to the leaf behind his head, now we were both getting wet, but i didn't mind, i liked the rain.::

She was right, it didn't take him long at all to find the house, he set Risa down just outside her gate and told her to keep the leaf. He smiled and waved.
"I got to get going Juri's going to kill me as it is. I'll see you later 'Kay?" He bounced off his left foot and took off, heading back the way that they came...it wasn't too far off his route, and Kane didn't mind the extra mileage...made handy training...he should walk her home more often.

::I watched him go, i smiled and waved slowly back, getting soaked, i was in a daze over the days events. I was going to invite him in for warm tea, but he was already gone. "Bye.." i whispered. I still just stood there, wondering why he didn't ask questions, like everyone else did. or worse, just strip off her clothes like her last encounter had did, to reveal her naked body and wings. that was this past, this was now. she only wondered, just, why was he so interested in her? my hair went over my eyes and i just wept in the rain. i looked up at the sky and wondered "why? why am i cursed with these wretched things that makes me a freak?" i now wished i wasn't alone, but i kept just standing there, as if i were being called to another place.::

Kane whooped and hollered through the streets. He had just had one of the best days with the cutest chick in the entire school...no wait scratch that the ENTIRE CITY!!! Risa was bringing him lunch, he'd walk--well, carried her home and she'd even went as far as to clean up his leg she was so worried about him. He couldn't wait to tell Juri about her.

::i open the gates to my home slowly, knowing noone was home to greet her anyway- Mom was always working at the hospital during the night. i step inside and take off my shoes and wet clothes, leaving only my bra and panties. I untie my wings, that were tied around my chest, and i open them wide, but not as wide as id like, mom always told me not to open them in the house in fear of breaking something. i climb up top my room, throwing my clothes on the floor walking in, i pet my cat, Misty, on my bed. She mews at me and i smile. I open my window and climb out, I need to fly, i need to get out this energy i held inside all day...I jump out of the 2nd story window, the rain pounds on me heavily. I put my arms straight out in front of me and just fly, up high, my body glows from me flying and being so happy. I fly over the school, knowing noone will see me because of the horrible weather::

"What are you doing home so late Kane?" Juri asked as her brother walked through the door, smiling despite being soaked to the bone.
"Who me?"
"Who else numbskull? The parrot?" She nudged her head toward Abel, the parrot sitting quite nicely in his cage. Kane made his way over and crooned to him while he answerd.
"Oh no reason. I was just playing Prince Charming to a girl from school."
Almost immediately he was attacked from behind.
"OHH!!! A girl, what's her name, what's she look like, what's her sizes?" Kane smiled,
"Risa, Human, and if I found out she'd kill me." Juri squealed in her brother's ear not even miding the squishing sound he made when she hugged him.
"My little brother's actually normal!!"

::i grew tired of flying and the rain pounding on me. I landed on the roof of Kane's home, i saw him walk in. I kneel and my glow fades and and say under my breath "thank you for making me feel like im like everyone else..." i look in the window,upsidedown, carefully, not to be seen and just watch. I think to myself "why am i doing this? do I like him too?? i shouldn't be getting too close..." but i look on, seeing his parrot, i smile, and his caring sister. i cant hear what they're saying but im just glad to see he made him home safely.::

There was something bothering him...Kane couldn't place it...but then he looked out the window.
"HOLY CRAP, RISA!!!???" He saw her face for a split second then raced outside much to the bemusement of his sister.
The rain poured down onto his face as he looked at the window.
"Risa, are you there? If you are mind telling me what the heck you're doing on my roof?"

::I freak out, only my head hanging over, looking down at him "uhm, ya know, just hanging out....i like to climb alot" i grind my teeth and say under my breath "dammit! what am i supposed to do now!?" i keep my wings as low as i can keep them, not to mention im in my bra and panties (white). i didnt expect to be seen, and i curse at myself for following him.::
