::Grabbing 2 pints of ice cream and a couple tv dinners, I paid and walked back to the house.
I knocked before I came in, it was kind of awkward to walk into a house that wasn't mine.
"I'm home!" I took off my shoes and went into the kitchen and showed him what I bought.
"I bought some TV dinners and I hope you like chocolate ice cream!" I smiled at him, shoving my prizes into the freezer.
I plopped down on the couch and looked over at him "we should really get to bed.. its almost 2 am, and we have school tomorrow..." I glanced up at the clock and yawned::
[GLOMP]

Kane shoved the rest of the plates into the sink as Risa opened the door.
"Welcome back!" He said smiling, wiping his hands on a dishtowel.
"Are you that worried about school?" He laughed, after all they'd been through...Risa still worried about attendance.
"If you want you can head on up. I'll wait on Juri, she's going to want a full synopsis anyway." He fell into the cushion beside her, his face tired and body sagging.

((*Glomp* Mornin!!))

::I look to him worriedly "I dont think she'd mind you leaving her a note or something... you should really get some sleep...school is important you know.."
I dragged my trash bag to the bottom of the steps "Im going up. Ill be in Juri's room. If you decide to stay up, tell her I don't mind if she sleeps in the bed with me, she has a queen size anyway. Goodnight Kane."
I dragged the trash bag up behind me and into Juris room. Slipping out of my normal garb i put on a nightgown, slipped my wings though the slits and slipped under Juris unmade quilt. For some reason, I didnt want to sleep alone and i tossed and turned; i felt funny sleeping in Juris bed. I groaned. I was so exhausted but felt awkward::

He looked at her like he had the first day.
"You really push this 'education' thing don't you?" He waved.
"Fine, fine..I'll wait till she gets here and then go to sleep.." He looked away and muttered behind his hand.
"I'll catch up on it on the roof anyway." He gave a slight salute goodnight and watched her head to her 'room'. He lay back on the couch and crossed his legs out in front of him, circling his arms under his head.
"Abel...if I fall asleep I'm counting on you to be my alarm." He let his eyes fall halfway and he smiled as he was answered by a fluttering of feathers and a quiet whistle.
((I'm doing okay...I guess...it's still dead...might be for a while...Dad doesn't seem to hept up on getting it fixed XP))

::After an hour, I Finally drifted off to sleep.

My dreams were filled of images... good ones..bad ones.. blood splatters...

I opened my eyes wide, and sat up, to find myself in Juris room. It was morning and I looked to the clock. 6 am. 2 hours until school. I sighed and slipped out of bed and stretched and trudged down the steps silently to find Kane asleep on the couch. I smiled at him and ran my fingers though his hair, I sat beside him on the floor and rested my head against his arm, that was hanging off the couch. He was so warm. Oreo was happily purring and in a catloaf state on his abdomen. His breathing was so calm and soft, he looked so peaceful and at ease asleep. I wish he were this relaxed all the time.::
[::sigh:: doesnt he know you have a life on the comp?? XD]

((NO!! DX He keeps fussing at me to get OFF the computer and do my house work....XP I HATE housework though.....TT_TT))

Kane felt something on his arm..he snorted in his twilight state and attempted to roll over, but there was something on his stomach as well. He mumbled and cracked an eye.
"Mmm...Ritha?" He sucked in a breath and looked over at her.
"Mm...What time is it?" He was answered by a click in the lock and the door opening.
"Early...or late depending on how you look at it." Juri looked terrible..she'd been driving most of the night and now lugged in two of the bags that she'd taken with them.
"Hello Risa." She said wearily smiling.
"I hope Kane was a gentleman?" She glared at him pointedly and he feigned a faint.
"Ah! Dear Sister, how you hurt me so!"
"It's too early in the morning for dramatics Kane, go get ready for school...you ARE going aren't you?"

::I smiled at him warmly has he slowly opened his beautiful eyes. I saw Juri come in and waved to her, standing up and bowing "Thank you Juri.. for letting me stay here.. Ill be sure to make it up to you."
"Kane was sure a gentleman. He even waited for you on the couch all night, but he fell asleep... which was good, 'cause he needed to sleep."
I look down at the still weary Kane and run my finger across his cheek "C'mon now... wake up and get ready.." I pet Oreo and headed upstairs to get ready for school, going into Juris room, not bothering to shut the door behind me, in case she wanted to come in HER room::
[That sucks.... do you use the comp for homework? maybe you can use that excuse LOL]

((Then he'd wonder what was wrong with mine....having a desktop is both a blessing and a curse...XP))

Juri merely shook her head and clapped Risa on the shoulder.
"Don't worry about it, just as long as you both are alright..that's all that matters to me." Kane snorted as he sat up, moving Oreo into his lap..her claws protesting into his stomach. He looked at his sister, his eyelids stil halfmast.
"Not a word...not one word Juri...I'll tell you everything AFTER classes are over...they're going to bore me enough as it is!" He rolled off the couch leaving Risa's cat to his warm outline and dragged himself up the stairs.

Ten minutes later, Kane was back in the living room yawning and scratching his stomach through the blasted uniform. He glanced over at the couch, and smirked. Juri had taken his spot and fell asleep on her stomach, too tired to even take her bags upstairs. He sighed and headed into the kitchen...for once wanting breakfast.

::Fully dressed I creeped down the steps and placed my hand on Kanes shoulder "Good morning.." I kissed his cheek softly and looked at his belt line, his shirt was untidily un-tucked.
"Kane...the teachers will get on you for that... you look like a slob with your shirt hanging out like that..i don't wanna get on your nerves but i only worry about you... you should try to stay out of trouble.." I ran my nails down his back through his shirt and went to the fridge.
"Are you hungry? I could whip us up some eggs.." I poured 2 glasses of orange juice and handed one to him, smiling. For not getting a full night sleep, i was pretty rested and ready for the day, my body sure wasn't though. It hurt more than ever this morning, more bruises appeared where he punctured me with needles. I even put a rather large band-aid on my neck-it was deep purple and looked like a hicci [sp?], I didn't need people wondering..::

He took his nose out of the cabinets long enough to snort, smile and turn back.
"Like I care what they think." He shuddered and arched his back goosebumps running up and down his spine. As Risa moved to the fridge, he turned away and tucked his shirt into his belt line...if it would stop her worrying...He shook his head and grabbed an energy bar that Juri had bought on one of her health kicks as he took the glass.
"I just need something simple..feel sick just thinking about eggs." He grimaced and took a gulp. He took hold of her chin and looked at her bruised neck.
"Are you going to be okay today? I can tell 'em your sick or something." His gaze wandered her face concerned.

::I groan, shutting the fridge and popping in 2 sliced of bread into the toaster "You should care what they think... they decide your grade..." I turned back around and looked him over "NOW you look like a handsome gentlemen" I smile at him.
The cats mewing at my feet, I gave in and fed them. Happily, they ate.
I blushed as he took a light grip of my chin and I grimaced; it hurt to stretch it out and I smiled at him "I already missed 4 days of school [Friday now?? XD im guessing] I cant miss anymore work.... I dont have any friends to get notes from so i gotta do some favors today to get copies made of someones notes..." I packed my backpack and heard the toaster pop. I grabbed the toast and shoved them into my mouth.
"C'mon...we're gonna be late...." I headed for the door, still with the toast in my mouth, and slipped on my shoes.
"Do..you think we should keep it on the down low today and not talk to each other? Who knows how much ruckus we could stir up by just being close... if anyone found out we were...I guess you could say 'dating' Id have the hell beat outta me..." I handed him the bento box of lunch I made him after I dressed and smiled::

His groan echoed hers as she turned back to him.
"Feh...they shouldn't decide my grade on how well I wear their stupid uniform." He blushed nonetheless. He watched her cats as they mewled helplessly, begging her to feed them.
"What kind of favors are we talking...I can probably round up a few notes...essays...whatnot if you want me to." He cracked his knuckles pointedly and then followed her to the door. He rolled his eyes, bluckling his boots on...he never changed them, at least he could still be rebellious with them.
"You're not going to have the hell beat out of you...at least not if I can help it." He was about to go on about talking to her as much as he liked and his bloody fanclub could bloody well deal with it, but he stared at the Bento and then grabbed Risa in a hug, on the verge of crying.
"After all this you remembered!?" He wiped away a tear that squeezed out and sighed.
"I'm the luckiest guy EVA!!!"

::"Im sure I can take someones cleaning duty for today in exchange... I dont need you beating up people for their notes..." i laughed worriedly at him and stood up.
I grimaced as he hugged me tightly "Ahh Kane...that hurts..." My body still was sore all over and no matter how much I loved him holding me...just not today, it hurt alot.
"Kane... I could never forget your lunch... its what you LIVE for..." i laughed and slinged my bag over my shoulder "well...should I go on ahead then?"::

He let her go quickly with a gasp and looked her over.
"I'm sorry....you okay?" He scratched the back of his head and apologized again.
"I wasn't going to beat them up......persay.." He grinned and looked away.
"Just...persuade them." He forced a laugh and turned to the door.
"Ha. Ha. Very funny Risa...I LIVE for a lot of things...but mostly your lunch." He jerked up his own bag left at the door and headed out.
"If you stay after to clean, tell me and I'll wait with you...who knows, you may even get me to clean!" He grinned back and walked ahead whistling.

::I smiled at him, my face a bit red "Yeah, im okay...as much as I love you holding me.... it still hurts.." stuck my tongue out at him, smiling and walked a small distance behind him, still conversating.
"No persuading either Kane.... i can do it myself"
I laugh aloud as he talks about cleaning "Yeah okay, YOU clean? Youre bed room says alot about that" I winked at him.
It was a beautiful fall day.. the wind picked up every so often and lifted my hair, and Kanes headband loose ends. I wanted so badly to just pull it off him and keep it, but I laughed. He'd look funny without it on.
Approaching school, everyone stepped aside and whispered amongst themselves and stared at me. i looked to the ground and hid my eyes. I had wondered if Chidori was alright, and kept up the pace to get in the building on time. the memory of my demonic haze was fuzzy. I wished I weren't evil sometimes...::

He pouted.
"Not even a little bit?" He stopped and turned, his arms akimbo on his hips.
"I do so clean.." His arms fell.
"Just not around my own house. Besides, I can find everything the way that it is." He turned back, falling in step beside Risa and stretched into the breeze. It felt good.

By the time that Kane and Risa reached the school's entrance Kane's face was once again flat...emotionless...it was as if he were a completely diffrent person. He shot a glance at random students as they chattered amongst themselves and his hands were shoved into his pockets, bag tucked under his arm.
"WHAT!" He cried suddenly sending two other boys scrambling for their classes. This was the other thing he lived for. He smiled inwardly feeling like he was back in the swing of things.

::I groaned and rolled my eyes "No Kane... not even a little bit.."
I glanced over at him as he stretched and walked on.

I grew a bit more stiff now, as I walked beside this stranger that I used to know. I remembered that he had to keep up his image, and I just sighed and put some distance between us as he yelled at the two boys. I waved to him "I havta go to my locker... I'll see you in class.." Looking at my watch, I walked away from him. Even though it was an act, he still felt different... distant and I couldn't place why.

I entered the building slowly::

He poured himself a cup of coffee and walked by all the the creams and sweeteners and other liquid candies that should not be put in coffee, placing it on the counter to purchase. He sighed and swiped a prepaid money card through the machine at the register. As he picked up his coffee a hand reached out and grabbed his wrist. He looked up at the smiling cashier with a confused look on his face.
"Thank you and have a nice day" She winked as she slipped a note between his hand and his drink and turned to the customer behind him.

He nodded with a dulled expression on his face as he left the store. He sipped his drink and casually slipped the paper into his breast pocket. After a few blocks he met up with his new home. Checking his device to match the address he tapped the screen and heard the door unlock. He entered and checked the rooms as he finished his drink.

He quickly threw coat on the couch and his clothes in the wash before showering himself. He Slipped into a white work shirt and black slacks that had been left for him in the bedroom. He fell asleep on the couch meaning to wake up and dry his clothes but slept through the alarm, waking a half hour before school starts.

He sat up and looked at his watch.
I overslept again! He lunged off the couch and washed up. He ran down the stairs with his belt over his shoulder and checked the wash.
No good... Putting his belt on he walked into the living room shaking his head. I'm just asking for it arent I..? He threw his coat over his shoulder, grabbed his bag and ran out the door.

::I yawned and walked up the hallways slowly towards my locker. A few of Chidoris friends sneered at me and well, if looks could kill, Id be dead. I sighed and went on, avoiding all contact with everyone around me. I used to enjoy school, until I got mixed up with liking Kane and fighting Chidori... I was so used to being pushed around, and it was a whole turn around. I had only hoped no one knew about Kane and Me.... ::

Kane turned warmly to Risa as she headed for her locker.
"Alright, I'll be in class in a little bit." He headed inside not bothering to stop in the doorway, all his things were in his bag anyway.

He paused in the bathroom and splashed his face with water, scrubbing most of the sleep from his eyes. He didn't have time to do it at home, and with the bags under his eyes he certainly needed to do SOMEthing. A few of his classmates opened the door laughing like they usually did..until they saw him. He snarled as he recognized some of them from his fight a few nights earlier. They fell silent and skirted around him as he left...he doubted he was ever going to get used to seeing them in the hall...he only hoped Risa was having a better time of it.

He slipped into his seat dodging the glares from students and teacher alike, keeping his head down and his face lower.

::After gathering my books from my locker, I dragged into the classroom. Only a few students were there, including Kane. I figured I'd try to avoid him today... in case anyone had a bone to pick with me, or him.
I plopped down in my seat and Kisa crept in and sat down, in her seat beside me.
She glared at me "I heard what you did to Chidori..." she muttered.
I looked to her and rolled my eyes "Stay out of it.." I opened my Ice and Snow book and started to read.::
[::sigh:: no lunch for me... the vouchers i get are only good for dinner and I ran out of Ramen... im prolly gonna pass out sometime today ¬.¬
YOU FORGOT ABOUT FMA AGAIN!!! *cries*]

Kane sat back in his chair, his book held in front of his face...times were certainly getting back to the way that they were...but there was still an air of tension in the room, he shifted uneasily in his seat and crossed a leg over the other. He read...or pretended to read, finally giving up and leaning on his elbows to stare out the window.
This sucks...it's like the whole school blames Risa and me for what happened to Chi...of course they would..who is going to tell them the truth that it was her and her own fanclub started it....Great...I'm starting to think that the roof isn't going to be such a bad idea from now on.

::More students shuffled in, followed by the teacher "Alright everyone, please take out your Ice and Snow books and turn to page 191." He quirked an eyebrow, kinda shocked to see Kane and Risa here, after all the fuss that was about in the school.
"Kane.. Please read Paragraph one please" I looked over his glasses at him and yawned, setting his books down and opening the page up himself.
I leaned my chin on my hand and looked out the window too. I saw Kane's reflection and I sent him a half-hearted smile and closed my eyes. My body ached so bad. I was hungry already and I felt about 16 pairs of eyes looking at me from all directions of the room.::

He sighed, turning away from the window to the page that his teacher indicated....and read...a monotone dripping over every word..but he read. When he was finished, he sat back down and looked back to Risa, returning her smile...he couldn't wait until Lunch...and the solace of the rooftop..hopefully he could convince Risa to join him, they really needed to discuss what they were going to do...this eriee silence and stoic glares were becoming irritating.

::The teacher smiled "thank you Kane, that was great." He looked to me who was bored outta my mind. My mind wandered, and I was barely paying attention.
"Risa, read where Kane left off please.."
I jerked my head up and stood, and looked at the page blankly. I wasn't listening when Kane read and looked around. No one indicated to her where they left off, only stares and grins, and I started to read where Kane had begun.
The teacher slammed his fist down on this his desk "RISA, SIT DOWN AND PAY ATTENTION! Kisa, please read."
Kisa glared at me as I took my seat. A few of my classmates giggled and I hid my face under my hair. This tension was going to kill me by the end of the day, i knew it..
