I nodded.
"True, but I fly pretty well, especially when I have a strong wing holding me up. Ill fly you as high as you'd ever want to go Kane, just ask me. I love having you with me when I fly, I dont feel so alone, and its nice to admire the heavens with someone who sees it the way i do." I smiled back at him; his eyes seemed to twinkle in the faint lights from the ground below.
I giggled, seeing him move his hand to his lap, and nodded.
"Kane? Do you think... i'll ever be intimate with someone? Do you think... someone will ever love me that much?" I looked out the window; I never specified him... i never knew what he had planned, and I didnt wanna make him uncomfortable.

He leaned on his hand again, studying her in the dim light.
"I'm sure Risa." He said plainly.
"Even if....even if I'm not the one....you're going to find someone that you can be that intimate with and not worry about anything....I'm sure of it." He smiled, sadly this time, and nodded.
"I'm not going to try anything with the doc...you made me promise...remember? You can rest easy on that note...I know you're thinking I'm still gonna try it...but..I could never break a promise that I made to you."

I closed my eyes half way. It.. really wasnt the answer I had expected. We stopped at the top.
"I dont think Ill ever love anyone they way i love you. If we ever...separate.. I will isolate myself, like I had planned before... and not be with anyone. Though... I want to be intimate with someone someday, it wouldnt be right to bring those kind of kids into the world. I dont want them suffering like I do." I looked to the ground of the car and sighed deeply.
"I dont want you to risk your life to try to be like me. I want you to be you. Thats all."

He smiled and moved over in front of her, leaning down so that his face nearly touched hers.
"That's all I'll be then, that's all I'll try to be." He gently kissed her, running his fingers down her cheek, taking all the time he could before the car started moving again.

He was so close, his warm breath danced on my face. I only turnt more red.
I kissed him back gently, my lips to his and I placed my hand on his shoulder, the other on the back of his neck. I brethed normally, by my heart was racing. I tried to keep my mind on right here, right now, but kept wondering about that winged creature at the docs place...what did he have in store for me? I would be sure to take a knife from Kanes kitchen, for protection.

The car gave a lurch and Kane flopped back into his seat with a sigh.
"Oh well...I was really hoping that it was going to last longer..."
He smiled and moved beside Risa, taking her hand in his.
He nuzzled into her shoulder, wrapping his arms around her waist.
"If only we could stay like this....I don't know...but there's something....I kind of feel like I'm going to lose you or something....." His face grew worried.
"Risa....if there was something...you'd let me know right? You'd let me keep my promise to protect you right?"

I smiled.
"Juri lets us have alot of alone time you know... we can be like that anytime." I looked to him as he said on my side, making the car tilt back a bit from our weight being on one side. I gripped his hand as he took mine and I closed my eyes, feeling his warm face on my shoulder and let him take a hold of my waist.
I stroked his hair as he spoke... i would not be gone for long. He would never know I went.
"Kane... you worry so much. Nothing is going to happen sweety. Im ALWAYS gonna be with you unless you tell me to go away." I paused petting him at his next question; my heart seemed to drop and i found my voice, finally.
"Of course. You are my red-head superman and I wouldnt have it any other way." I ran my fingers though his hair once more; it was so silky.

Kane smiled, as embarrassing as it was to be petted like a three year old...it...it felt nice and comforting all at the same time.
"Thanks Risa.....I don't know what's gotten into me tonight...I really don't....I guess...I'm guess I'm just paranoid, you know? Sano...must have shaken me more than I realized."
He kissed her cheek and moved back to his side, righting the car as it made it's descent.

[XD hey hey, how are you today?]
I smiled, looking down at him.
"No worries, Kane. We will always be together. Sano will be fine." I only looked to him going back to his side and folded my hands in my lap looking out over the town, as we descended.
We got to the bottom and the carnie opened the door.
"Okay, thats it, have a good night." I nodded and climbed out, waiting for Kane.

Kane hopped out with a sigh, and looked up at the sky.
"Wow...I guess the saying's true...time really does fly when you're having fun." He caught up with Risa and smiled. He didn't know why....but for some reason....there in the dim light of the fair light....there was a sad and regal air about her...
"...Like an angel that fell from heaven..." He muttered.

Looking back at him, under the streetlight, I walked back and took a hold of his hand, finding I was more ahead than he was.
"Looking at the stars huh? Want to get a closer look?" I smiled at him. I knew he was thinking...deep in thought...as usual. I could never stop his thoughts, or pry; if he wanted to tell me, he would.

((XDDDD That would take forever...and I'm still missing parts of it, like what does Liam say to make Sota so mad at him in the beginning? 6.6 I forgot...XDD I'm not all that busy just wandering around looking at pretty piccys.))

Kane stopped, startled by the sudden contact of hands, and blinked a few times.
"Huh? What'd you say...sorry...I..I wasn't listening..I was thinking...." He scratched his head and laughed nervously, afraid that Risa had said something important.

[I have the WHOLE thing saved in 2 diff Word documents... nothing missing. and Liam made Sota look like the bad guy and took his bread, I think.]

I lowered my brows and pulled my hand from his and about faced.
"Nothing, never mind. If youre gonna have your head in some other place, i'm going on ahead home. Im hungry." I paced onward.
What the hell has be got on his mind that he doesnt even wanna think about me? It was starting to get to me, his sudden daydreaming and dreamy looks. Sometimes I wondered if it was really me he was daydreaming about...

((After that, it's before Sota takes off on one of the horses and Liam gives chase ultimtely knocking him off and tackling him to the ground...it's something about 'walking the streets'))

"Uh..H-Hey wait up!" Kane took off and fell in pace beside her.
"Aw, come on Risa.....what'd I miss this time.....talk to me...what'd I screw up now?" He stared at her with a worried and pleading expression till he thought she was going to ignore him all the way home.

I looked over at him.
"Youve been acting weired all day. I only wanted to have a good time with you and youre not yourself. I asked if you wanted to fly home, but no use in that now, we're there." I stopped befor ehis gate and looked to him.
"If theres something you wanna tell me just say it. Stop making me think too deep into your daydreaming." I folded my arms, keeping the grip on the pink teddy and his companion Sonic.

Kane sighed.
"Look I'm sorry alright....I...I was actually thinking about you....the whole way home..." He could see the disbelief.
"Cross my heart." He swore.
"I....I don't know...you amaze me sometimes....when we got off the Ferris Wheel...you...you reminded me of an angel...and that just made me think back about all the stuff that we'd been through together....and how much you mean to me and my sister...we both love you Risa...just...just figured you should know." He moved beside her and opened the gate for her.
"You said you were hungry right? I'm sure Juri's got something we can find."

I listened intently and then smiled in return.
"I love the both of you too, and I wont let anything come between us, now will you stop worrying? Im new at the ferris wheel thing, you dont havta keep bring that up...and yes im starving, my stomach is about to eat itself. C'mon and stop worrying and dreaming and be with ME here and NOW..." I took a hold of his hand and went though the gate and to his door, opening it and walking inside slowly.
"We're home!" I yelled. I looked ot Oreo and Misty, passed out on the couch. They could care less. Able, on the other hand, chanted a "hello"
I slipped out of my shoes and went to his cage.
"Hey baby, how are yah?"
Response: "Hello"

He smiled and nodded empaticaly.
"You bet!" He chuckled and headed after her.
"Juri!!" He called as he stopped in the door to take off his boots.
"What's edible that's not an experiment around here?" Juri popped out of the kitchen and thought about it a moment.
"Well...we have Ramen in the cabinet....and there's some leftovers in the fridge..or do you want me to make something?" He shrugged and jerked his head towards Risa.
"Ask her, she's hungry."

I blushed, looking up at him frowning, feeling very awkward. It all just hit me at once; I was freeloading and I was hungry.
"Oh well, I uh, that is..." I scratched the back of my head and looked around.
"I can go out and buy us something, my treat?" I had a little money saved up in my bank account, it was the last I could do...
I made my way to the couch and sat down, shuffeling though my purse.
"I have some money saved up and I uh...dont mind treating us all to ordering in?"

Juri marched over to her brother and poked him in the gut.
"OH NO...Risa can't be the only one hungry. Kane Shiroi, I have NEVER known a time that you didn't want to eat something." He looked away trying to act cool....but his stomach let out a small growl and Juri nodded.
"That's what I thought." She smiled at Risa and shook her head.
"You don't have to worry about anything Risa, I'll go ahead and heat up the leftovers, we'll all finish them off before they go bad alright?" She nodded and headed back into the kitchen.
"And here I was hiding it so well.." Kane sighed moving to where Abel sat.
"Hey...Juri didn't try to fry you again did she?"
sqrwak.
"That's good." He looked over his cage a few times and then turned.
"Hey Risa....You mind taking Abel for a few minutes...his cage is getting kind of....feathery I should clean it before he starts a nasty bout of molting again."

I held back a giggle, placing my purse on the floor and looking at Juri practically assaulting Kane.
"Thanks, leftovers sounds great to me."
I looked to Kane as he questioned me about the bird. I grew pale; birds never really liked me, especially big ones.
"Erhm, wont he bite me?" I asked stupidly. I also looked to my sleeping carpet sharks; they would surely wanna sniff him up close.

Kane opened the door, and let Abel hop out onto his arm.
He fluttered a bit and shook himself out.
"Naw, he's a big baby. Aren't you Abel?" He stroked his breast feathers with the back of a finger and crooned to him softly before turning back.
"The only thing you have to remember is that he needs to know that you're sturdy, and that you won't let him fall." He moved over to where she was and brought his arm close to her shoulder so that Abel could step off.
"Talking to him helps too, if that's any help."

I looked to the gigantic Cockatoo and knew I should feel at one with it, since we were so alike, but I still wasnt all that sure. I stiffened and nodded slowly, looking to Kane and Abel, practically horrified.

"Uhm, hey Abel... pretty boy..." i said in a cute, baby, low voice. My eyes darted back and fourth, from Kane to the bird, then Kane again. My heart raced, waiting for it to be on my shoulder; it weould be the first time i held a bird of this size.

"That's good." Kane smiled as the bird stepped off and settled on Risa's shoulder.
"You behave Abel." He threated stepping back to the cage.
"Or I really will tell Juri to cook you for dinner."
Abel whistled and looked at Risa.....blinking...blinking...he seemed to smile then and whistled, snuggling her cheek.
"Pretty Risa." He sqwaked.
"Pretty Risa...Risa bird" Kane smiled back as he gathered the newspaper.
"I think he likes you."

I looked back into the birds eyes as its heavy weight was let on to my shoulder. I smiled at it, unsure how to react.
I laughed a bit, nodding to the bird.
"Good boy, aren't you observant" I smiled, gathering my courage to touch the birds breast, as Kane did.
All the commotion had awoken the cats; Misty just went into the kitchen to see what was for dinner, but Oreo..her eyes were glued to the bird as she settled beside me on the couch.
