I looked to Kane as i finished brushing my hair and nodded at him as all the classmates shuffled to their seats.
Chidori came in not too soon after and sat in her seat, behind me. Behind me... I didnt know why, but maybe she was permanently moved there. I let a yawn slip thorugh my teeth and adjusted my weight on my wings in my seat as the professor stacked his papers and looked us all over. He smiled at me, seemingly pleased I had returned.

((LE GASP! NO UR NOT! *Glomp*))

Kane sighed, and dug around his bookbag before sitting up with his notebook and things ready, popping his elbow and neck, feeling just a little stiff from sleeping the wrong way the night before.
He tried so hard not to look Risa, or Chidori's for that matter, way, but his eyes hovered over the girl's backs just a moment before he snapped himself out of the trance...class was starting.

The teacher told us to turn to Chapter 4 and do silent reading. I begun.
I let a yawn slip through my teeth then i heard it. A grumble. Then a deep seated gurgle. I quickly raised my hand and the teacher called on me.
"May I go to the rest room??" He saw my pleading gaze and he nodded as I power walked to the bathroom. Chidori made her way up to the desk.
"Mind if I go check on her, just in case she needs help to the nurses office?"
The teacher smiled.
"Of course, go on ahead." She followed slowly behind me.
In the stall, I scrambled to pull off my sweat pants and move my wings aside. My stomach didnt agree with my breakfast; corn. Raw.

Kane flipped open his book and pretended to read, he skimmed the words, he really did, but his mind was more on what was the matter with Risa....and why Chidori was being so concerned...he shook his head, he had to be focused today! He had to make sure that he did well, well, well enough to make sure that he wasn't going to be missed for a few days.

[SPOILERS!!!]

I was in the stall finishing up when i heard the door shut and footsteps.
"Dont panic Risa, its only me."
I gulped.
She said only, like I had nothing to fear.
"OPh" is all I could say as I hurriedly pulled my pants up, stuffing my wings into the leggings.
"I just wanted to warn you that i know your secret. Stay away from Kane and I wont tell."
My heart sank and I finished dressing and I came out.
"What are you talking about?" I said, going to wash my hands.
She smiled, taking some soap from my palm and drawing a wing on the mirror.

Boring......boring, boring, WHY had he come to class today? Kane's mind seemed to wander more often than not, and he couldn't seem to focus at ALL....he found himself staring off into space for the longest times, almost getting caught by the teacher twice. He sighed, and propped his head on his hand...where was Risa and Chidori?

I looked at the drawing on the mirror then her reflection.
"Whats that supposed to mean?"
She pushed me up against the wall and slid a hand over my back, with an odd lust look in her eyes.
"I know you have wings. Stay away form Kane and I wont expose your secret."
I jerked away form her and had my back turned to her, adjusting my shirt.
"Didnt you know, Kane and I broke up." I said in a low tone, hiding my eyes.
Chidori only smiled.
"Really? Because I saw you two on the roof. He was 'supposedly' taking photos fo rhis sister. I went up to see how he was doing and found you... half naked and exposing it all. I even have a nice photo on my cell phone, just in case..."
I gulped, then nodded.
"You have my word. As long as you keep mine."
She grinned.
"Of course." She left the bathroom, with a grin on her face. I fell to my knees and just cried.

Kane's eyebrow lifted at an odd angle as Chidori walked back in..
wasn' t she checking on Risa? He thought.
What's she.... His stomach dropped...what if she'd....no, no way, she wouldn't have followed him up there....no.....but...but what if she did....what would she do if she....He didn't want to think about the possiblities.

Chidori made her way back to her seat after assuring the teacher Risa would be back soon. She made eye contact with Kane, smiling at him, and sending him a wink as she sat down at her desk to continue her work. No later; the bell rung for the next class; gym. [I forget the order we have them in so work with me LOL]

I came back into the classroom, a bit of worry evident on my face and gathered my books quickly as I was pushed aside by my classmates to get out of the room. I looked to Kane, and our eyes met for just a second, then, I hurried out of the room and to my locker.

Kane stood, and was going to head over to Risa when the bell rang, but she was out of sight before he could move, and he was swept up in the mass of students all racing to get to their next class.......he might have a chance later...or if not...he was going to ask Chidori personally.

At my locker, I gathered my sketch book and pencil case and headed off to gym, where all would be meeting in the gym today, for that reason, I didnt know. It was hot enough to swim outside, why not? I slammed my locker shut and headed off, Chidoris threast running though my mind over and over again.

Chidori gathered her books and looked to the puzzeled Kane.
"What is it sweets? If we dont hurry, we're gong to be late for gym."
The room at this point was empty, even the teacher had gone, probably to refill his coffee he looked like he needed.

Kane sighed and looked around....Risa was less likely to talk to him, what with the way she'd ran off after the bell and all, so he looked over to Chidori and sighed, rubbing his temple.
"I'm starting to hate Gym." He muttered.
"Chidori, what exactly did you say to Risa when you went to 'check' on her?" He asked simply...he'd known that look before...Risa'd had the same one that time that she'd gotten hit in the gut.

In the gym, I went up to the top of the bleachers and sighed, waiting for everyone else to shuffle in. I watched as the small crowds gathered on the floor below me as I boredly looked on.

Chidori slung her backpack over her back.
"Why hate gym? Its so fun and keeps us all active." She looked at her nails as he spoke then looked up at him, smiling.
"I only assured her Id always be here for you, if something should happen to her. She wasnt feeling too good in the bathroom..." she coughed, looking away to the clock.
"WE gotta hurry, if we dont wanna be written up!" she said, running off down the hall and into the girls locker room to change.

Kane sighed, his eyes stern, he wasn't in the mood for games.
"Chi--" Too late, she was gone. Kane let out a growl and shoved his backpack onto his shoulders and walked to the gym, where he sighed and sat on the bottom of the bleachers, explaining, when asked and only when asked, that he wasn't feeling too well, so he'd sit this one out if it was alright by the coach. He'd get his answers one way or another.

From my perched seat, I saw Kane come in and sit down below be on the bleachers. I couldn't figure out why he didn't change, or that matter, looked angry. Did Chidori do something?? Speak of the devil... I murmured..

Chidori came frolicking into the gym in her high up buruma [leather-like bottoms, that look like panties, that most japanese schools in anime make them wear(refer to I My Me! Strawberry Eggs)] and loose fitting t shirt, tied at the hip to show off her lean belly and soft skin.
Amongst all the chatter, the teacher and the 2 nurses walked in. He blew his whistle to shut everyone up.
"Good morning everyone. Instead of swimming today, we'll be playing basket ball, as 2 of you at a atime go to the nurses office to get checked out." He glanced up at me, then Kane.
"That means you two too."
My eyes widened, Chidori looked to me, with a kind of concern, then to Kane.

Kane sighed, his head propped up on his hand...which of course, rested on his knee. He'd shrugged, what did he care if his bill of health came back clean....he wasn't getting out there for anything...at least not until he'd figured out what went on in that bathroom.
"Fiiiiiiiinnnnnneeee." He sighed, turning to look outside so he wouldn't have to meet Chidori's gaze.

I looked around, frantically trying to think of a way, or an excuse to get out of this. I was kind of suprized Kane didnt worry; or at least he didnt look at all worried, not even for me...

Chidori went up to Kane and smiled, sitting beside him.
"Kane, are you alright?" she asked, leaning closer to him to try to see his face.
"Why are you being so cold towards me?" She asked softly, her eyes closing half way.

"Okay, we'll be going by last name, so... Vaan and Nicholas you two are first. As for thge rest of you, play ball!." He tossed two basket balls into the crowd of waiting student and went into his office top do some paperwork.

Kane blinked and looked up at Chidori.
"Huh? cold? I'm not cold Chi, just....a little sick...remember the other day? I went to the Nurse's then, I guess whatever I had then is coming back now." He smiled up at her, his bookbag held across his lap, he was holding it close, as if he had some sort of stomach ache.
"Will you sit with me a bit? I still wanted to talk to you."

I slung my bag over my back and figured this would be my early day. I headed out of the gym, slowly, and not being noticed by anyone. I walked though the empty hallways and slipped a note into Kanes locker:
"Kane, I couldnt get looked at by the nurse, and I had some errands to do to gather things for my new...place. PLease, could you collect my homework for me? Ill be at you window at 6...thanks alot and take care. -Risa"
I stopped at my locker for a few notebooks and headed out of the school slipping past the school police and onto the street, still in my school uniform. I had only 46$ and needed to send it wisely.. I knew of a perfect dollar store in town, I would head there to pick up the knick-knacks I needed.

Chidori looked to him with concern.
"Oh Kane, shouldn't you be home of you dont feel good then..?" she placed her palm across his forehead, her eyes widened.
"You do feel pretty warm.."
She held in her squeak the best she could when she was asked to stay sitting with him. she agreed and looked to him.
"Sure about what?" She asked.

((GRAARRRRRRR *stabs compy*))

Kane glanced back, watching Risa leave, looks like he'd have to pry everything out Chi himself.
"Oh I'm...not that bad, I'm just a little queasy. That's all." He looked around and smiled.
"Well, since I'm feeling sick and I don't have to go to the nurse's for a while, what say you and I go talk on the roof? It's too loud in here, and I really won't be able to hear what you say."

She nodded and folded her hands in her lap, looking to Kane, a little pink in her cheeks.
"You should really take better care of yourself... we only have 2 weeks of school left, and nows the time to be cramming you know."
"The...roof...?" she manages to squeak out, her eyes sparkling.
"Where we can be...alone?" she said, looking to him. She thought about the other day, seeing Risa and her secret up there... she nodded, standing up.
"After you. But we should hurry back; my last name starts with a M."

((Its being a pain and talking about memory or something, I'm just not going to mess with it anymore. >.<))

Kane smiled, and nodded.
"Ill be alright. Trust me." He nodded.
"Yep, I need to be alone to talk to you, like I said it's too loud in here." He nodded and stood, walking out, his hands in his pockets.

The roof felt good as he stepped out into the open air, he breathed in deeply and sighed.

[damn...sounds like u need ur comp defragged... thank GOD I have a MAC... I hate PC's with a passion.]

She nodded, worry still evident in her eyes as she followed him out onto the roof. Her heart was pounding...maybe this... would be the time he wants to get closer to her... she wouldnt know until he began to talk. She stepped onto the roof and loked around, the asphalt looked so hot and the musky air was heavy with humidity. She sat on the other side of the door, so that there would be shade.
"so..." she said softly.

((Yeah I figured that's why you couldn't use ♪ XDD I want a Mac, but they're so frickin' expensive!))

Kane turned to look at Chidori and sighed.
"You know I faked that whole stomach deal right?" He started. He didn't wait for his answer.
"And you know that if you try to run I can catch you before you get anywhere." Again a slight pause and then:
"So you might as well come clean with me, what did you say to Risa?" His voice took a drop in pitch and his eyebrows came together.
"I want answers Chidori, and I'm not in the mood for games."

[theyre worth every penny for the speed, space and ability to make everything easier. I got mine on my ,money that was put away after i was hit by a car when i was in 5th grade]

She looked to him with total shock.
"So... youre not sick? I... should have known you were a pathological liar since yesterday when i saw you weren't taking photos up here..." she folded her arms.
"TAKE ONE GOOD GUESS!" She yelled at him.
"I want you to be mine..." she pressed him against the wall and kissed him deeply and aggressively, holding the back of his head.
"And ive done all I could to be nice to you and try to gain your affections... but you still give me the cold shoulder..." she said sternly.
"But now... I can have you...forever..." she said.
