"I don't do it often that's why..nothing ever seems to bother me." He paused at the door and smiled back.
"Medical reasons huh? Again, another reason why I never go to the doctor." He was going to wait for her..but decided that she was right, if those crazy girls knew she had been up there with him, they might try something.
"If you say so Risa." He agreed numby. He didn't want to leave her alone...but she did have valid points that he couldn't argue with.
"Just don't forget what I said about hiding out up here. I'll cover for you if you don't make it to gym." With a smile and a wave he was down the stairs and headed for the gym.

Kane was waiting in the crowd that had gathered around in the gym, he still got a few stares as if the students were amazed that he came, he glared back, challenging them. What? Was he that scarce around the school that when he actually showed his face he was a spectacle? He slumped against the wall and waited around for class to start, he wasn't changing, not at all, he'd rather smack the ball into someone's face while he was comfortable than wear those stupid uniforms....gah, he hated the school colors anyway.
((For right now anyway....I think, I want a few of the things that are in the Imports sections, like the oriental stuff, but I'm not sure))

Kane's head jerked around when he saw Risa fall, he noted the smug look on one of the girl's faces and he growled. Not silently like he should have, but deep in his throat he growled.
"Geeze man." Someone whispered.
"Get a life." Kane whirled and glared sending them cowering. He was not in the mood for any smart comments right then, he just wanted to smash some skulls. He cracked his knuckles and smirked. He'd be the last one standing coach...just dont blame him if any pansies got broken noses.
He could have cared less for the tickets, but if he got them he got them. Risa might like the change of pace...after all, she did say that she never had any fun due to her medical problems.

Kane wasn't going to hold back, with five people already on the bleachers he was in the thick of it. Grabbing a ball someone had dropped, he ran under a few legs to grab another, then whipping around he tossed one behind his back and then jerked around to bounce the other one off a guy's face, he went away with a large red mark on his forehead.
"This is for ticking me off!!" He cried to no one in particular. He wasn't about to go against what Risa had told him, but as he caught another ball, Kane's aim was for the nearest girl...the one that he'd seen so smug when Risa tripped.
"And that's for delaying my lunch!!" He threw the ball as hard as he could, in a game like this...gender was no longer an issue...those girls were brutal.

Kane cursed silently as he missed. He'd have another chance soon enough...he'd have to wait and bide his time. He settled for dodging the balls, fighting paying off with balance and coordination. He had to survive, he had to win...for Kane losing meant death...even if it wasn't physically.
He whipped around a ball whistling past his ear, he looked back and saw that the rest of the guys had begun to converge, he reached out and grabbed the ball he'd dodged and he chucked it back at the nearest one, flipping backwards as balls headed his way once more.

He'd taken out the rest of the guys and now all he had to worry about was the girls....scary....psychotic girls that he was slightly afraid of....not that he minded the attention...but it was more like he was a hunk of meat dangled in front of hungry dogs....a scary thought....for the meat. He was backing away from them all and then he caught sight of something moving through the crowd, he focused for a second then let out a yelp as he realized what the girl was aiming for. He dove forward over the ball and with one hand guarding his belt line, he came to a rolling stop right at the foul line.
"Geeze kill a man next time." He said racing back to his side for his life.
He jerked a few balls up on his way and tossed them behind him as a distraction.

Shudder..
Kane visibly shook as he spun around, the ball flying past his back, he smirked on the inside, fighting was so much more of a challenge...if that was a punch the guy throwing it would have already been turning around into his fist. But this was gym after all...and he couldn't hit anyone....as much as he wanted to.
"Sorry chick!! I don't date ugly girls!!!" He ran to jerk a ball off the floor and raced as close as he dared then chucked it at her back.
This had better work. He thought. Girls really were too vain for their own good.

::the crowed all said "ooohhhh" at what Kane replid to Chidori. She growled at him. she picked up a ball quickly but before she had the chance to throw it at him, his ball had hit her back, hard. There was a moment of silence then the whole class cheered for him. I smiled from the bleachers "and to think, shes the prettiest girl in the shcool, and he thinks shes ugly? odd..."
One of the boys ran up to him and high fived his sweaty palms "Dude, that was so freakin sweet!!" the bell rang, class was over. "finally" i thought, and headed down the bleachers, my knee still bothering me a little.
the coach came up and patted Kane on the shoulder
"that was great kid! If only you came to class more often, itd be more fun with you around!" she handed him the tickets and walked inot his office::

Kane was bent at the waist just staring, he didn't even notice the cheers.
DAMN!! That girl is brutal..... His hand closed numbly around the tickets and he turned his pale face to the coach.
"Not on your life. If every day is like this I'd much rather skip." He flopped to the middle of the gym floor and lay back on the cool wood, why was the ceiling spinning?....Or was it just him. He couldn't tell.
He lifted his hand up and took a longer look at the passes he held.
"Victory." He said mimicking his favorite fighting game. Risa could finally get a chance to get away from school and have some fun despite what the doctors told her..carnivals wern't that physcially challenging, and she and her mom could go together.
((Pronounced Cain: As in Biblical Cain and Abel. I like that name for some reason.))

He had been sitting on the same row of bleachers as Risa watching the match with interest. Very athletic.. if my theory is correct he should be an ideal candidate.. He chuckled to himself watching the students' brutality towards each other. He had a specific interest in Kane and Chidori during the match and began writing things down in his palm pilot-like device. As the match ended he tucked the device away in his long coat and stood up. He may be the one I have been looking for.. I should test him to be sure. Being on the top row he simply stepped over Risa and jumped off the side. As he went down he seemed to glide a bit, as if he were weightless.

He walked over to the ticketed champion with arms clasped behind him. (XDXD) He tilted his head curiously and smiled raising a brow. His demeanor seemed friendlier than last night. "I wanted to congratulate you on your game. Maybe you can show me a few things." He held out his hand to help him up.

Kane looked up at Risa.
"I do not." He scowled, accpeting the towel.
He shrugged and handed her the tickets.
"I didn't get them for me and Juri, I got them for you and your mom..you hardly ever get to have fun right? Well, here's your chance." He was just about to hop up when a hand moved into veiw.
"Oh it's you Dracula." He took the hand and stood.
"Thanks...but if you take lessons, I won't go easy on you."

"Heh, I wouldn't expect any less from you." He smiled and raised his head not letting go of his hand. "I don't think I've had the chance to introduce myself to you. My name is Zahara, I'm afraid I didn't catch your name."

Kane turned to Risa and smiled.
"Go on ahead we'll catch up." He had noticed the cool hand still sttached to his. He turned back to Zahara as he'd called himself and let his smile fade to one of courtesy.
"I'm glad....Kane...I'm Kane." He was still smiling, but inside his head the wheels were turning faster and faster.
Who was this kid? And what did he want?

He shook his hand firmly and let go of him. "It seems class is going to start.. can I ask you something?" He spoke a bit lower so others could not hear. "Do you eat the school's cafeteria food?"
