"Hm? Oh sure." he blinked, shrugging. "You want some before we go back out for clothing or after?" he asked, remembering that was still a priority. "Ice cream's good, unfortunately it's also not the healthiest snack when I'm up late and writing. I think I said that already. I need better eating habits when I'm on a roll."
He ran his fingers through his hair absently as he thought, distracted by trying to get his head around things.
"Yeah. I was wondering if it would work to offer you the guest bed when I've got it put back together.
Well...it's more of a futon, so it's not any great shakes, but it's something. That and then your tree is right there in the yard. That would tell you how well you could do without putting you at any real risk. I mean I don't know what would happen if we found out the hard way that you were wrong." He explained, shooting Malaya another look as they finally approached home again.
Home...that was going to be an adjustment. Really getting his head around the fact that it was -his-.

"But wouldn't it melt at the back? If it did... The flavor would be ruined!" He was worried about the ice cream that he forgot about the fact he was still borrowing Muse's clothes. "As for your food---well that can be solved." The youth smiled, chuckling as he cleared his throat.
"That's easy. Since you ought not to eat it, then I will! Tut... Why make it such a problem?"
Then he laughed again, "See? As easy as that and unlike you, I won't grow fat at all!"
Malaya smiled at him, nodding and listening to his suggestion. Sure, he'll do that. It might be a little strange to be sleeping in a different place and set up but it should prove to be interesting.
"Alright then. I'm game for such a set up. I can help you and such. So... Want to hear the story I owe you? Don't forget I'm getting ice cream after this."
The spirit leaned over and rested his hand on the man's thigh, no malice at all here though and gave him a comforting smile, "I know you're just looking out for me but... It's alright. I appreciate everything. Just try to enjoy having me around. Don't be too nervous... Or worried. I'm really happy being with you. I hope... I don't end up being such a bother for you..."

"Thats what the refrigerator is for. It'll keep it cold while we go out clothing shopping." He explained. "You know, like an ice box." He grinned at this, shaking his head slightly. "Ha, I suppose thats one way to keep me from eating ice cream all night, but maybe just a reminder to eat something else once in a while? I'd like to be able to eat my own ice-cream once in a while."
He cleared his throat again, giving himself a mental kick to remember that Malaya's free tendency to touch and pet was just part of the spirits personality, nothing else, as he continued.
"I don't think you will be, It's going to be interesting to have a sort of...room mate hanging around. It might even be really kinda good for me in the long run, you know. There's no real way of knowing. You shouldn't worry so much. Life's short enough as it is without giving yourself gray hairs."

He couldn't help but let his smile grow over how the man fused about him. The brown haired driver was really plotting out the possible trips and included him---adjusting and seeing what could be fixed so he could be accommodated. It shocked him a little how his presence made things rather complicated and how they needed to be fixed to be convenient for both of them. Looked like a lot of work, the spirit would say.
Considering they had only been about each other for a few hours, Muse seemed to care a lot for him already. After all, the author seemed to like the frozen treat a great deal and that he was willing to give him a cupful of it...? Malaya felt a little loved. The engkanto then made a promise to himself that he would do whatever there was in his power to make sure that he too would look for the human.
"I will. I'm quite a well rounded sort when it comes to meals," he nodded as he removed his hand on the man's thigh. The engkanto slowly folded his arms across his chest in thought then added in, "We could share though... But I get the bigger share." Malaya then smirked at him at the idea, waggling his fingers in the air and looked forward to such an experience.
"You're the only one getting gray hairs in this car. Not me... He he he."
Then he stuck out his tongue and playfully winked at him, chuckling and giving him a happy blue bird look.
It seemed the story was forgotten.
Good thing though. Even after so many years, the discomfort that experience had given him still felt so fresh in his mind.

Did Malaya have some kind of strange ability to make people comfortable around him? Maybe he did, the author might have wondered about it had it occurred to him, pulling back into the driveway.
Some people he'd met before seemed to have that sort of gift, a rare and charming personality that made it easy for them to win people over, making them feel like an old, well trusted friend.
Malaya, for all his dramatics, was one of them to Muse.
"Well we can discuss that now can't we?" He laughed. "Are we talking well rounded meal as in healthy? Or Well rounded as in your stomach afterward?" He joked, reaching to make a teasing poke toward Malaya's stomach.
"Just rub in the age thing why don't you. Tsk. I see how it is." He shook his head, grinning. "What are you going to do when I'm old and gray anyway?"

He gasped, shocked at the gesture and instantly pouted. The pony tailed youth glared at him with angry gray eyes and then stuck out his tongue. When the man's finger poked through his shirt and onto his stomach, they would soon both realized that Malaya for all his being slender and easy to the eyes was hungry. At that same moment was the time it growled by a bit. The engkanto smiled to cover up for that little bout of honesty. How embarrassing.
"Well...When you're old and gray, I'll be older, more powerful and I'm sure by then I'll be overrunning your yard with even more trees... If we're lucky, we'll have a whole nursery of trees!"
Malaya snickered at the thought, clapping his hands together and grinned, "You'll have little kids running around calling you 'Uncle Joseph'!"
Though in reality, there was no truth to what he said and he was simply trying to scare the brunet out of his wits at the idea of mini Malayas running around the house. Nice as it may sound, even the spirit himself did not seem to enjoy the idea of having to look after little children either.
Since he was a private tutor, the belle was more than familiar with the horrors of children. Also, wasn't he one himself not too long ago? And each time it was time to leave back for home, the engkanto was more than happy to be reminded that he would only have to deal with the little devils for two-three, even five at times hours while their families would have to endure them for the rest of their lives.
Then those little pests would grow up...be teenagers and it would be a whole deal of problems altogether.
Nasty.
He unbuckled his belt and watched it slide back in the place then turned to Muse, "I was kidding by the way. Even if I could, I don't think I'd like that either... I don't know how to. Though technically I could but no... Never mind. It's the same principles as how plants and trees reproduce, seeds.
I think? Bah. I'm hungry."

Muse laughed again, grinning as he retracted his offending hand and stopped, opening the door. "I'll get the groceries put away and we can make some food then.
"Oh boy, I can just see it now. All the neighbors trying to figure out where all the kids go at night, or wondering how many of them are actually mine..." He joked, shaking his head.
Would he have his own children by then? Hard to say. Probably only if he adopted, and he wasn't sure about that.
"Kids are a lot of work, kids that live as long as you people apparently do are probably even more so. Does that change how long they stay, you know...kid like? I mean it takes some time for saplings to become trees.
What to make for lunch, hm. Good question. Malaya would probably be content with the carton of ice cream but it seemed like a good idea to make something more.
"Alright, lets get this show on the road, any ideas what you want to eat? Besides ice cream I mean."

He nodded, trailing behind Muse and replied, "Yes. Something along those lines. Doesn't it creep you out how your basic knowledge about trees and such make sense now you've met me?" Malaya then laughed a little at the idea and then stopped to sigh.
"Though... Really. If you had kids of those variety---Hmm." The engkanto looked up at him, rubbing at his chin thoughtfully and then smiled, "You look like you could turn a few heads back home alright. Just the height and people would be on you before I can reach three on a count of three."
And that was no exaggeration at all. There had been times where rather good looking humans were indeed fought over thus some of the engkanto were inclined to keep their loves only in one place. Regardless if it was out of vanity to have such a beautiful being in their midst or true love, they were very territorial.
"It would be probably interesting to have little yous running around with some strange and profound ability to weave tales for people to read and tie people up with rose vines. Cute." Then he waggled his fingers in the air rather giddily, adding in, "Then they could meet my kids---if I even have some and we can oversee how they take over the world. Or if I don't have any, I can pass on to your kids dreams of world domination. Can you just imagine?"
Then on cue, Muse asked about lunch. He cleared his throat and then nodded.
"But first...we must have lunch."
Malaya listened to himself and couldn't help but chuckle at the rather random but insane things he was saying.
Things he would never be caught dead saying if he were back wherever he came from. The brunet would probably be so shocked if he met Malaya of the past and then, to find such a BIG difference.
"Say, I suppose we could take over the world with lunch right?"

"You know for someone who was just cracking jokes about my height." he laughed, shaking his head. "I find it hard to believe I'd be interesting as more than an coat rack or a novelty." He did tilt his head in curiosity as they headed back up the walk toward the house though, toting groceries from the car. "Kids that tell stories AND landscape the yard with supernatural abilities? Thats some serious crazy genetics you'd be getting into." he laughed. "Besides, there's no way to be sure, if I had kids, that they'd want anything to do with writing books. It's not an easy profession. You're totally at the mercy of the people who read. The best way I've ever heard it put was "You're not the great American novelist, you're two inches of paper and a title sitting on a shelf." I mean thats all you've got going to grab someone's interest and hope they take a closer look."

Malaya made a surprised face at the coat rack and novelty comment. What the--- He looked up at him, frowning a little then sighed. It made the engkanto upset when those he knew tend to mark down themselves in the market place for relationships and such. Clucking his tongue in his mouth, he poked his chest and shook his head. "You'd be surprised how popular you'll be amongst us if I took you back---but why would I? I don't have intentions to go back and I'll keep you to myself!!!" Then he laughed with some evil tone to it then waved his hand.
"Just kidding. But really---I don't want someone else to fight with over the ice cream! I have a strong feeling that it tastes really good too! It's fine with me if I only have you to go head on for it! But a whole---clan? NO WAY!"
He waved his hands in the air and then leaned over to pry one of the bags from his grasp so he could help in bringing the groceries. "Besides, I don't think Shakespeare started off great. Nor did Machiavelli... You'll find your time soon enough." The pony tail haired spirit flashed him a smile and continued to look for a bag he could steal off Muse.
"Also... Everyone has a knack for story telling. You're just the one who embraced that natural knack and decided that everybody else ought to enjoy the fruits of it. If anything, they should be thankful that you do write... Why don't they try staying up and feeding on coffee and ice cream trying to beat a dead line? Though if you ask me... I don't mind living off on ice cream but the dead line, you can have that part."
Malaya then paused to imagine what it would be like if he did bring home the brunet. It made him frown how some just might really treat him like novelty...
But hey, not like he would let THAT happen.

Muse laughed harder at Malaya's possessiveness, nudging open the front door and stepping inside. "I'm not sure, should I be flattered by that or sort of scared? Or the third option is that I pull a drama queen moment and launch into a spiel that you only love my for my Ice cream."
He put the bags down on the counter as Malaya continued, grinning as he took things out of their bags and held out the ice cream carton for Malaya's inspection. "You can have some after we eat lunch, but would you put that in the top section of the refrigerator?"
He was listening, though distracted by putting groceries away, looking to the Engkanto intermittently as he worked, setting up a few items to make a quick lunch. Mashed potatoes with cheese, maybe some sauteed onion and bacon pieces... it would be quicker to make them with boxed potatoes, but he'd have to see how the Engkanto took to the idea of making something involving freeze dried mashed potato flakes.
"I guess so, I just know it's not for everyone, you know? I write because I enjoy it, not because I expect to be lauded for it, though I do enjoy that part too, but even if I was working a regular nine to five I'd probably still write. I'd just get less sleep."

"I'll leave that for you to answer. What do you think, Muse?"
The engkanto replied by sticking out his tongue and then skipping off into the kitchen, a little ahead of Muse and stood before the refrigerator. Curiously, he pressed a hand against the surface and felt the cold from the inside. He let out a soft ooh as he pressed both hands. Then he looked at the other, seeing he was still quite amused and then pressed his ear. Malaya swore he heard noise from the inside or some place nearby the unit.
"...It's run by something inside isn't it? That's the the sound I've been hearing. It's quite cold."
Upon seeing the carton, he left his position and went up to look at it closer. He could see 'smoke' from the carton and water droplets condense at the outside. It must be really cold...
"Fine by me." But when it was actually time for him to hold the carton, Malaya hissed and hugged it close to his chest, surprised at how cold it was. Never had he touched something THIS cold. "H-Hey, you mean I open this and then put it inside?"
His eyes seemed to widen at the thought but he was excited nonetheless. Swallowing as he smiled at the electric run appliance, the youth braved to open it and was greeted by the cold. Then he opened the freezer and gritted his teeth.
It was even colder inside...
After finishing the task, the engkanto rubbed his palms together and then put them on the brunet's back to 'steal' some heat.
"It's in the same way that teaching also isn't for everybody... I enjoy -but sometimes not- disciplining kids... " Malaya the removed his hands and then rubbed together again, "So it's really you're passion isn't it?
Not a problem after all. Do what you will. The rest will follow. I'll read your stuff. I promise."

I just pick up the phone and call someone in to fix it, or replace it if it's broken." He admitted. "Have you got a problem with things that have been freeze dr-YAI!" He jumped in surprise as Malaya applied freezer cold hands to his back. "Yeow! What are you doing?" He demanded, jumping away and looking over his shoulder. "Damn thats cold! Yeah I guess it is. It's kinda of...vindicating to be able to do something in this world you're really passionate about."

Blinking, he looked up at him with the most innocent expression ---one that spoke of such gentility that you would never find that the engkanto was one who could EVER be capable of hurting an insect or breaking plates (but of course if you knew him well enough, you'd be damn frightened with his precise aim and knack for screaming eloquent profanities along with it) - as he lifted his frost cold hands and rubbed them together.
"I felt cold...And you were so warm. I'm so sorry, Muse...Will you ever forgive me? And oh, go with whatever you wish. You're the host of the house, I'm just your rather unusual guest."
Malaya then shoved his hands inside the borrowed pair of denim pants and was surprised at how the rather thin seeming fabric was so stiff and warm in the inside. What a strange piece of clothes these were... How could something thin be able to keep his hands warm? Interesting...
The pony tailed spirit rubbed them together again and looked at the human's pants as he sorted through the grocery, "Say, this kind of fabric... Is it expensive? I like it. A little tight and quite thin seeming but very warm after all. When we buy clothes, is it possible for me to have a pair and in my size perhaps?" Frightened that he might freak the brunet again, he tugged at the man's sleeve and smiled at him. "Just one. I'll be fine with that already."
And yes... When you do something you're so passionate about, time passes by and you hardly realize everything else.
"You know, Confucius said something that you might like to hear right now..." He stepped back, clearing his throat with closed eyes and then smoothened the front of his shirt.
"Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life."

"Wise guy." he shook his head, amused at the innocent act and rubbing his back to disperse the lingering cold. "I was going to make mashed potatoes and put cheese and stuff in them, because it's quick and filling, but I'd be making them from some freeze dried potato stuff. They just, pretty much suck all the moisture out of it so it doesn't really go bad, or not as fast. I don't think they do anything else exciting to it."
He turned his attention to Malayas second question with an raised eyebrow and another slight laugh. "Expensive? That depends what maker you go with. They're just jeans. Depending on the company that makes them you're talking anything from fifteen bucks to fifty and up. And Confucius? Thats one smart guy. People make a lot of jokes about what he says, but he really did know what he was talking about.
I don't know if it was him but there was another one about being enlightened that always made me smile. It was "Before Enlightenment, chop wood, carry water. After enlightenment, chop wood, carry water."

Malaya smiled at the wise guy comment and felt almost tempted to stick his tongue out. Instead he opted to sighing a bit then leaned against the counter to watch him work in the kitchen. His only exposure to a kitchen was one that he made for himself when he would be busy brewing little concoctions he'd make for himself or others for a quick buck. But a real kitchen with all the sophistications and such? Never. One could say that he was the kind to be served upon than to serve. Though the engkanto knew a thing or two about food and medicine, he never ventured into doing real fine cuisine. He did once wish he could but then he quickly discovered he would like to teach more...
And the brown haired author seemed to know a thing or two talking about potatoes and stuff. What stuff though... The spirit could only hope they were edible and friendly to his stomach.
He picked up one of the bought peaches and began to toss it a bit in the air, being a wee bit playful. If Muse was right that fruits had to be washed first before they were eaten, then he'd like to know how then. Was there some special ritual for it?
"Hmm. I see... I wonder how quick or slow you can money if you have no academic background, work experience and practically no identity to show if you're out in the human world..." mused out the youth as he continued to play with the peach, now drawing faces on the skin with the tip of his fingers. "And really? People make fun of him?"
He frowned knowing this and put the fruit down. "Why so? He's one of the contributors to the fine government of China and it's extended territories... One of the greatest at that. Don't they appreciate his wit and wisdom enough?"
Enlightenment. The word made him smile somehow.
He had always believed in epiphany.
In his opinion it was just as much as enlightenment.

Muse made himself busy putting together the ingredients for lunch as they talked.
"People make fun of a lot of things. They make fun of Shakesphere too, but then I don't think he's taught very well. He says such amazing things, but plays weren't really meant to be read like a book." he offered. "Language has changed, and some things dont translate well, so people find it unapproachable. Although on the plus side that means he's remembered at all."
He gestured at a mixing bowl after a moment or two, slicing some butter in and adding milk and water. "This isn't much yet but it'll get better. Trust me."

Listening to him speak about Shakespeare and how the current generation dealt with him... Malaya could go on hearing the man out on the whole matter over and over. Not to mention the soft tell tale scent of potatoes -not fresh but fine enough- and then the cream from the butter... This was something he wanted to lodge into memory. It was just such a fond moment for him. There was something so charming about Muse finally settling his shoes into the familiar. It was perhaps the author's confidence and depth that attracted him to the moment in time...
Most if not all of the time they'd been together, the brunet was acting very self conscious and almost surprised at everything he had up his sleeve. Though that was amusing, it soon lost it's value as such when the engkanto felt that it might as well keep their bond severed.
"You know... For a generation that likes to make fun of that certain guy with a receding hair line you seem to be very nice," spoke Malaya after the man was done speaking of him. The youth was leaning against the counters on his elbows while he curiously looked over as the mixture came to be, "It's actually cute... Cute? I think that's---one of your words when you like something right? Yeah... I liked it."
He couldn't help the helpless smile on his face as he continued. "And oh please... I don't mind. I do trust you. Don't worry. Stop being so worried... I liked you more earlier when you were all---huff huff. Confident and sure about things. It was cute."
It was also nice to listen to him.
Malaya did have a knack for just closing his eyes and then listening to people talk.
There was something just so calming about listening to people's voices and simply focusing on them.
"You should tell me more things... You sound very well and very profound, alright?" The spirit then rested his hand over the human's arm and smiled, "And smile too?"

"Heh, sorry. I guess thats another thing I just kind of...do and don't think about." He flashed a sheepish grin as he put the bowl in the microwave to cook, ripping open the top of the bag of shredded cheese, (Ah, convenience foods), and setting out a pair of microwavable bowls. "I think....that Profound is probably stretching it a bit though." He noted, patting Malaya's hand as the Engkanto rested his small, warm hand on Muse's broad arm. "I will use whatever word I feel like using at the moment and I feel that profound is the best possible word to ever describe you."
No matter how the human would protest on the word, the engkanto had none of it as evidenced by his earlier declared statement with a tone of finality.
There was profundity in the simplicity of words and gesture. The less there was said, the more direct and straight to the point you were---the better you were at leading your life. Yes, leading since man---humans ultimately are the masters of their destiny. Confucius taught him that. William of Ockham also showed him that with his trusty razors.
Malaya seemed surprised when the brunet overlapped his hand on his that he went into a stutter for a while before replying, "Well... Anything. I don't mind listening to you. I promise to ask for clarifications if need be since I happen to be wet behind the ears on your generation already.
Just make sure that you don't get too distracted though. Our stomachs depend on you at the moment."
As if on cue, the spirit's stomach did a low growling noise. Embarrassed he cleared his throat and decided to make use of the situation, chuckling as he spoke, "See? It agrees with me."
Malaya cast his eyes on the small electronic device called the microwave with curiosity but didn't bother to ask what it was and for what purpose. He simply looked at them for a while, seeing the bright neon numbers flash as the author pressed some buttons making it light up and do it's 'magic'.
He wanted to ask really. But something told him that it was some kind of convenience cooking device with a timer on it. Interesting.
"So... What do you have in mind while we wait for that to cook, hmmm?"

Muse patted Malaya's hand, before spreading his hands and looked heavenward, in an teasing gesture as though to ask some power above -'See what I have to put up with'?-. "Well, we've got..." He glanced at the timer on the microwave. "A little under four minutes before those finish up." He paused a moment before tapping the door of the microwave with his knuckle. "It works by microwave radiation, which isn't hurting us because the microwave oven doesn't put out that much, and the door design is there to keep us from getting cooked with the food. It doesn't replace an real oven, as far as say, cooking a steak or an chicken, but for something like this it makes things pretty quick, so in a pinch, we can eat faster. Doesn't work if we loose power, but then again, a lot of things don't. My lap top would run for a while, but it's got a battery. It would have to be turned off and re-charged after a while."
He paused to think, debating what to share with the Engkanto as the microwave whirred to itself like an electric cat trying to purr.
"Oh and..." He reached into his pocket for his wallet with one hand, flipping it open to show his drivers license, tapping it with a thumb as he showed it to Malaya. "Thats a drivers license. It gives a rough rundown on my height, my hair color, my eye color, and what types of vehicles I'm licensed to drive. I don't have a motorcycle license, or a license to drive some of the huge transport trucks, but I don't need to drive those, and Motorcycles aren't my first choice for a ride. They're a little too seasonal. What did you think of town by the way? Any questions about that?"

He nodded, listening to the brunet's words, taking in everything pretty much as a sponge would in water. Malaya concentrated on the human's words almost too earnestly that you could see how firm and serious he looked as he let the information sink in his head. Interesting. So humanity has come this far to being able to master elements of nature that normally hurt them into something useful... Nice.
Smiling, the engkanto leaned against the counter and tapped his lip, "Don't worry, if we run out of power and we're hungry, I can teach you how to prepare stuff. You'll be surprised how tasty they can still be even without the sophistications of stoves and such---but that doesn't mean I don't intend to learn how to learn your technology in the kitchen and in preparing food of course!"
The mention of the laptop soon reminded him of the promise of research and looking it up the internet. He was curious by this...internet thing. And how one could store so much information in such smaller devices. They sounded really nifty, useful and easy---there was a word for it: convenient. Yes... there. Convenient.
"Wow... Just hearing all of this, I can't help but feel very happy for you people of today. Have you ever realized how blessed you are everything is now so convenient? It's like... a press of a button, something whirs to life like a cat and then food."
Malaya rested his palms against his own arms, leaning and then asked, "So... Since you can drive and all, you'll teach me someday?" There was that tell tale mischievous smile again as he asked.
"It was very quiet. Not much people here---peaceful. Reminds me of back home but with not much technology and sophistication. Saw a lot of things that interest me too." He nodded as he spoke, his gray eyes on the contents of the microwave as he watched it spin along with the distinct sound. "I'll learn about them soon enough---after we have ice crea-I mean lunch.
Right?"

"Well, lunch first, then ice cream." Muse laughed, not having missed the Engkanto's 'slip'. "Yeah I can probably teach you to drive, someday, though really you're supposed to learn from an actual certified driving instructor, though under the circumstances, that might be more difficult. I'm glad it's getting easier though, I think you're dealing with this a lot better than I would. I think we get a little spoiled." He admitted.
"I think tonights going to be a bit slow, though I can set you up to play with some stuff on the computer while I unpack if you want? After we do clothes shopping I mean." he offered. "Maybe I can find that book I was talking about."

Smiling, Malaya let out a soft chuckle and then purred, making his voice a little higher---a pale imitation of his twin sister's voice, more sounding like a girl with colds and whispered, "Oh sir... You're just too kind. How ever shall I be able to repay you?"
((Damn. He can be a dubber. He can change his voice. XDDD; Sneaky thing.))
The engkanto waved his hand in dismissal as he cleared his throat and softly ran his fingers on the slender column as he talked back in his normal, soft but low masculine voice, "Well. Think of it this way... If you go out and you get so wasted, I can go fetch you. I can't imagine how it would be like to have you drunk and driving. It wouldn't be good. Or in times of emergency and all, I'd like to be useful too."
He nodded at his words and then asked, "Err...what? Play?" The long haired spirit was looking at him with a raised eyebrow and a hand on his hip as if he had grown flowers and leaves on his person. Interesting image it made... Muse with deep pink colored plumerias growing on his head. Anyway...
"I thought the computer was solely for work a library---it's also for play?" Malaya then made a soft sound of awe at the idea and then nodded again.
The author would be dealing with so many inquiries and the depth of his curiosity soon.
Joining his palms together in a clap, the tree dweller smiled from ear to ear as he cheerfully announced, "You will have to teach me about these things! The more I hear, the more interested I get! Muse, you have no idea how new and fantastic this all is for me---what a lovely generation I seem to have stumbled on. Not so flamboyant but so...so...convenient and simple in a way.
And yes. The book. Of course. I didn't forget that."
The pony tailed youth winked, folding his fingers into a gun and 'fired' at him as he grinned. His eyes were shining with excitement.
((Sorry for the late reply. I only have brains to reply to one or two... then just keep talking.
I pick which RPs to reply to at random too. >>; ))

((LOL: don't worry about it. <3 I know stuff happens. <3))
"Oh reallly?" He raised both eyebrows and drawled out the word, amused at Malaya all over again. "So you take me for some kind of lush?" He noted, reaching over to prod Mayala's arm teasingly as the microwave beeped, heralding that it was done cooking the potatoes. "Yeah in an emergency it could be good, but if we got pulled over you'd have to explain why you were driving without a drivers license. Tell you what. I'll -think- about it. It depends how things work out." He slid a drawer open with one hand and pulled out a long handled spoon, sliding the drawer closed again as he turned around to get the contents of the microwave, stirring the potatoes together so they actually looked the way they were supposed to.
"Yeah, the Internet was originally I think intended to be largely for research and sharing of information, but us being the kind of creature we are, it didn't take people long to figure out how to put games and stuff up that you could play over the internet. I'd be careful with some of them, since you can also pick up computer viri, which will only hurt the computer, not you, but I don't want to have to spend weeks figuring out if someone managed to get information off my machine that they shouldn't have their hands on. But I can set you up to watch some videos on YouTube, or play an role-playing game, all sorts of things. What would strike your fancy? These will be ready in a minute by the way, I'll just put them into separate dishes and melt some cheese on them."
