Aamori lifted her eyes once she had both of her boots back on and looked at Celestine. "It's a little sore." She answered. "It'll be okay, I think. It's swollen and bruised." She paused and then brushed the sleeve over her left arm up to expose her forearm which was bruised as well. "The bruises got worse while I was asleep." She added and then let her sleeve slip down and cover her arm again. She sat there for a moment before she stood up and then reached down to pick up Hikari's clothes. "I'll be right back." She uttered and then proceeded to head over to Hikari and Kyran's room. She paused at the door and thought about knocking on it but decided to just set the clothes down on the floor right beside the door. She was pretty sure that they'd be noticed sooner or later by either Hikari or Kyran since the hallway was kept clear and there wasn't anything else on the floor anywhere. Once she'd dropped them off she returned to the courtyard and moved back over to the fountain.

The guard watched as the cat took the fish and then glanced up to Kanone when he started speaking again. He shook his head a little at the comment about her eating him out of house and home. "If she's given what she wants to eat on a regular basis, she shouldn't take your fish or anything else that isn't offered to her." He said and then looked out at the water when he asked about how far the island was and if he was going to get lost flying there. He laughed softly and shook his head. "If you'd rather fly, be my guest... but we do provide passage by boat for those who are granted permission to pass." He paused. "If you go by boat the trip is just over an hour. If you fly.. well.. chances are you won't make it to the island." He glanced back down to the cat when he heard the purring and then smiled when it looked like she wanted more. He reached into the bag and held out another piece for her.

Celestine looked at Aamori's arm when she raised her sleeve to show him and then shook his head slightly. "You are such a klutz." he said softly. He shook his head when she said the bruises had gotten worse overnight. "Heh...tell me about it..." he muttered quietly. His cheek hadn't been near that bad when he went to bed he was sure. He liked like someone had smacked him in the head with a skillet or something. He watched as she walked over to the arches again and then sighed softly and sat on the edge of the fountain. While she was gone he went back to what he'd been doing earlier, trying to untangle the white feathery earrings from his hair. They had all gotten pretty wound up since he hadn't taken them out and he'd actually used a pillow last night...and with wet hair no less. He finally pulled the back off of the silver ball that held the chains that the feathers were attached to and removed the earring long enough to work it out of his hair. He hadn't bothered to take these things off in a long time, so it felt a little strange to have them out. He placed the back on the earring again and then carefully removed the other, placing the back on it as well before he rubbed his ears. The feathers were all a little messed up after getting wet and not being straightened out so he quickly dunked both earrings into the fountain for a moment before he started to fix each of the twelve feathers. Each earring had three silver chains and each chain had two straight white feathers, one slightly above and layering over the other. He Even though he always wore them they were usually hard to see since the shorter part of his hair usually hung down in front of them. He glanced up briefly when Aamori came back and then looked back down to what he was doing. "So, how much more work do you have to do with Nen? You already pretty much have it mastered, I think..."

Kanone laughed weakly when he looked at Kyiri. "Heh. Guess cat food isn't good enough for her." he said with another slight laugh. He shook his head slightly and then sighed in relief when he said that they provided a boat, "That's good...I thought I was going to have to fly all the way. I already few all the way here, I doubt I could make it to the islands if I wanted to like that." He smiled weakly, "...Heh guess it's kind of obvious, but I've never been out this far. This is my first time leaving Caledonia."

Kyiri reached out again with her paws since Kanone was holding her and again closed them against the sides of the fish as she pulled it closed, carefully taking it from the guard's hand while Kanone babbled on behind her. About halfway through this piece she lost her grip on it and watched as it hit the deck and then bounced. She quickly squirmed out of Kanone's grasp and chased it...right off the edge of the dock. The fish hit the water with a small 'plunk' and Kyiri toppled off of the dock after it, though managed to spin herself around and grab onto the wood with her front claws, though her back feet and tails were dangling int he water. She mewed loudly for assistance while she tried to pull herself back up again.

Kanone's eyes widened slightly and he looked like eh was about to have a heart attack when Kyiri went over the edge and he quickly dove to her rescue, grabbing her by the nap of the neck and pulling her up just as a rather large fish jumped out of the water. "Nyhg!!" He backed up quickly, staring at the massive fish and pulling Kyiri close to him. Kyiri wasted no time using that moment to scamper back over his shoulder and dive headlong back onto his pack again to hide. Apparently she didn't like that fish.

Aamori stood there and watched for a moment while Celestine was messing with his earrings. Her mood changed considerably when he brought up Nen and asked how much work she still had to do. She sighed heavily and stared at him for a moment, a little annoyed at how fast her good mood went away. "...I couldn't work on it right now even if I wanted to." She uttered. "If I tried to summon him again right now I wouldn't have any energy left to summon him for the Elder to see." She paused. "...And making sure the Elder sees where I'm at with the ability is a little more important than trying to squeeze a couple more hours of training in." Now that she was thinking about it she remembered that her holster had been broken and Hisako never did bring a new one. She sighed softly. Obviously getting a new one herself would probably be easier and the person she'd go see about a new holster she could talk to about some new clothes for Nanashi, at least. After last night he was really going to need something new to wear and she could probably get by without him having to leave the building just by taking his clothes with her when she went to get another holster.

The guard watched again as the cat took the piece of fish that was held out to her and then glanced up at Kanone for a moment. Again the guy was giving him a little more information than he needed. He was already hoping that Zale would get back here fast and hopefully with news that this guy could be sent to the main island. He was ready to get rid of him, not that he didn't like talking or anything but he talked a little too much. His attention shifted back down to the cat when she dropped the fish and managed to get free from Kanone and chase after it. He closed up the bag of treats and stuffed them back into his pocket. If Kanone hadn't pulled the cat back up when he did, he wasn't too far off from stopping the fish himself. Once the cat hid herself back in Kanone's pack he stepped a little closer and sighed softly. "Unfortunately the fish kind of go after anything that's smaller than they are... a lot of the fish here though, they're omnivorous..." He paused. "If you get on the boat you may want to keep her under your thumb."

Zale had hurried all the way back to the port, moving a little faster this time. Once he reached the docks he launched himself up onto one of the docks just like he had before. Again he shook his fur a little before proceeding to move over to the guard. He sat down just like before as soon as he was beside the guard and lifted his head up a little waiting for the guard to take the collar off and check the note inside the casing.

The guard was a little surprised to see Zale back so soon and even after he'd wished he'd hurry up. Zale must have been in a hurry this time. Once Zale had sat down he knelt down and pulled the note from the case before removing the collar and tossing it onto his shoulder. "Good job, Zale." He praised as he patted the canine's head and then reached into his pocket, opening the bag while it was still in his pocket and pulling out a piece of fish to give to him. Once Zale ate the fish he turned his attention back to the note and flipped it open to read it. He looked back to Kanone and smiled a little. "Looks like I don't have to send you home." He paused. "Miss Aamori's given the okay to let you pass." He said and then tucked the note into his back pocket. "We've only got one boat running in that direction today and you're the only one going that way right now... so you'll have a whole boat to yourself. Except for the driver of course." He paused and pointed over to the medium sized boat, the same one that the others had used before except with a different driver who was already on board and ready to go at any time. "I'll let the driver know he can leave once you've boarded. Oh, and once you get to the other side there will be another gate. The guard should let you through no problem but if anything comes up just tell them you're the Trainee's guest. They should let you pass, if not then they'll have Miss Aamori or someone from the training building come out to get you." He explained. "Lastly, once you're through the gate it's a straight shot back to the training building. It's the building in the middle of the island, it's pretty big and hard to miss. It looks like a coliseum, actually. Make sure you go there without getting side tracked. You'll need to get a special pass from there in order to be allowed to roam the islands by yourself." He said and then started over to the boat to wave down the driver to let him know he could go after Kanone got on the boat.

Cyndel 11-06-2008 01:24 PM

Celestine sighed softly as he continued to straighten out the feathers on his earrings without really looking up. "...Mm... Let's hope you got everything down yesterday then. You looked like you were doing fine to me...I wouldn't worry too much about it." he said simply. He sighed softly and laid his earrings out across his legs before he gathered all of his hair, including what usually hung in front of his ears, and pulled it behind him. He looked considerably different without all of that hair hanging in his face, though the shorter part soon found it's way back over his shoulders again, though it remained held back by his ears. He finally picked up his earrings again and put them back in one at a time so that they hung over his hair. After a moment he carefully slid his fingers through his hair on each side, separating it just above his ears before he pulled what he'd tucked back up to the front again. At least that way the bruise was just a tiny bit less obvious.

Kanone sighed softly and nodded at his comment about keeping her under his thumb on the boat. For once he didn't say anything. It looked like that fish had scared him half to death as well. That was like a monster fish compared to the 'big' fish back home. He backed up a little when Zale returned and watched as the guard removed the letter from the collar. He returned his smile when he said that he didn't have to go home. Well that was a relief... he may have wanted to strangle Aamori if she'd sent him packing. He blinked when he told him what to tell the guards at the other side if he had any trouble. "Trainee?" he asked unsurely. He shook it off and listened intently to everything else the guy had to say before he nodded. "Wow you have passes?" he said, sounding a little bemused. The idea sounded almost silly to him. "Um...alright, I'll head straight there." he said with a slight smile. "It was nice talking to you. Haha sorry if your ears fall off later." he said playfully as he started to move toward the boat that was waiting. Once he got there he glanced around for a moment before he started up the ramp. He stood there for a moment before he walked over to the front of the boat and looked down over the rail. "You may want to stay int he bag, Kyiri." he said simply as he crossed his arms on the rail.

Yotsy 11-06-2008 01:53 PM

Aamori gave a slight nod after listening to him. She hadn't been worrying about it at all until he had to go and bring it up. The whole thing was in the back of her mind since she'd seen the note and well, now she was a bit more focused on whether or not she had the ability mastered or at least mastered enough. She didn't exactly have the same confidence in her own ability, mostly because she was still under the impression that this ability was harder than it actually was. She gave a sigh and finally just sat down on the ground, stretching her legs out in front of her. She looked back over at Celestine and continued to watch him while he put his earrings back in. With long hair she couldn't imagine wearing earrings like those. They looked like they'd get tangled in your hair very easily. She definitely preferred her set of round silver stud earrings to something that dangled.

Zale watched as Kanone got onto the boat and started over himself. He wanted to go back to the main island, at least for a little while. He boarded the boat a little after Kanone had but he lingered at the back of the boat and sat down. He knew he could get there faster if he just swam, but he did tire easily if he did a lot of swimming back to back and he'd already done one round trip and even sped up the return trip. For now he'd just have to deal with the speed of the boat. It wasn't really all that slow, well, compared to him it was.

The guard didn't say anything else to Kanone, all he did was wave after he got on the boat. Any other questions he had could be answered by one of the other guards. He started to head back to the office since the boat was ready to leave but noticed that Zale wasn't on the dock anymore. He sighed softly seeing as Zale had gotten onto the boat. He guessed that wasn't a problem, they hadn't seen too many people recently and there hadn't been too much of a need for Zale to deliver messages. Since the boat had already pulled out of port he continued back to the office for now. It would take the boat just over an hour to reach the other port, thankfully the weather was actually pretty nice aside from the slight chill over the water.

Celestine glanced back to Aamori again and sighed softly, "You know the hard part of mastering the spell was just the summoning." he said simply, "You have that down pact." he finally slipped off of the fountain to sit on his knees beside her and then smiled weakly, "After you were put to bed last night I updated Hisako on how you'd done and what happened and we talked for a bit. From what I gathered the hard part is pretty much over." he said calmly and then chuckled softly. He wasn't too sure if she was supposed to know all of that yet, so he didn't tell her flat out that Hisako had told him that it was the easiest ability that she had mastered so far and that they just wanted her to do it herself. "You'll be fine later." he said with a warm smile. He'd mostly brought it up since he'd noticed the way her mood changed when he mentioned it at first. He raised one hand to place lightly on her shoulder and then sighed again and leaned his head over against hers for a moment, "Riiight?" he asked in an...almost playful tone.

Kanone glanced back to the ramp again when he heard Zale's paws on the way up. He smiled slightly and watched as he went to the back of the boat. He stood there for a moment and looked out over the water again before he turned around and started to walk over to Zale. "Hey there..." he said as he knelt down in front of him and started to rub his ears. "Zale? Was that your name?" He tilted his head slightly and stared at him for a moment. "...So...do you talk too?" he asked more quietly. He knew Nobu said that he could talk and just didn't like to broadcast it so he wondered if this one was able to do that, too. He wasn't even entirely positive those two were even the same general species, but they did look very similar to one another.

Soon after the boat had left the dock another creature decided it was time to take off. This one was a canine as well, though slightly smaller than Nobu or Zeal, and slender, though still covered in long pale green fur. Like the others, it had no visible eyes, though there was one very distinct difference about this one; this one had wings. It's wings were much like those of an eagle in size, though they could move much faster and be used to hover just as easily as they could be used to glide. The color of the feathers blended nicely with it's fur and the transition from fur to feathers was almost unnoticeable unless one was up close. This one had multiple fluffy tails, much like most of the others, though the number climbed up to five on her. After she had noticed the boat pulling away she waited until it was almost out of range and then took a run and lifted into the air, sailing high over the gate to Kairava and still climbing higher as she went, following at a safe distance behind the boat where it was still insight, though she would probably look like nothing more than a large bird from down there.

Yotsy 11-06-2008 04:43 PM

Aamori looked at Celestine with an expression of slight disbelief when he said that the hard part of mastering the spell was just the summoning. She was finding that hard to believe, even in the slightest. That is until he sat on his knees beside her and proceeded to say that he'd updated Hisako and they had talked about it last night. She was still finding it a little hard to believe that the hardest part was over but if he had heard that from Hisako then there must have been some truth to it. Hisako had never lied to her while she was learning the first two abilities so she didn't really see Hisako lying about this one. She sighed softly, still not quite sure how much she believed that and of course even with the smallest amount of doubt her confidence was lacking still. She continued to sit there quietly, turning her head a little to look at Celestine when he said she'd be fine later. She gave a small smile when she saw his warm smile and then lowered her eyes a bit at least until he leaned his head against her's and he asked his question in what almost sounded like a playful tone. She couldn't help but chuckle lightly hearing the tone he used. Even almost playful seemed really out of character for him which made her chuckle like she had. She smiled a little more after she quieted herself and then nodded her head slightly in response to his question.

Zale continued to sit there even after the boat had started moving. He at least knew a little better than to be up moving around too much on the deck, though sometimes his playfulness got the better of him. He turned his head slightly and watched as Kanone came over and then knelt down in front of him. He pushed his head into his hand a little when he started to rub his ears. He titled his head slightly when he heard him ask if he talked too. There it was again... another obvious reference to there being another one like him around, well, in Kanone's case it just sounded like he'd had a run in with his type before. He sat there for a moment debating with himself a little. No one on Kairava knew that he could talk, at least not yet and he wasn't sure he wanted to go broadcasting it himself. With there not being an owner to his blades he didn't exactly want a whole bunch of people knowing that he could talk. But seeing as Kanone wasn't a water dragon it was probably safer to speak to him than it would be to speak to a water dragon. He lightly smacked his tail against the deck and stared at Kanone for a moment. 'Of course I do.' He responded to the question about his ability to talk. 'And yes, my name is Zale.' He added lastly.

Cyndel 11-06-2008 11:25 PM

Celestine raised his head up again when he felt her nod and then looked back over to her again with a weak smile. After a moment he wrapped his arm around her shoulders, giving her a gentle squeeze. "What's so funny?" he asked simply, tilting his head a little, "Am I not allowed to be silly?" Of course his version of 'silly' was nothing compared to Kanone or Aamori's. He thought using a voice that wasn't his usual tone was pretty silly in itself. He smiled slightly as he lowered his arm from her shoulders and pulled it back to rest in his lap.

Nanashi was finally starting to wake up again. He was still tired, but he had gotten a decent amount of sleep. However since he still wasn't really able to get up and stay that way for too long he would probably end up that way again several times throughout the day. He opened his eyes slowly and blinked a couple of times before he raised his hand to rub his eyes lightly. A small smile came to his face when he saw LaRae laying beside him and he slowly moved his hand over to brush his fingers against her cheek. He was at least glad that she still wanted to be around him, though after hearing Kyran last night it sounded like he was going to be apologizing for upsetting her soon.

Kanone smiled slightly when he heard Zale's answer. "Heh...oh boy, people really are going to think I'm nutty." he said as he rubbed his head again. "Let me guess, 'don't tell anyone,' right?" he asked as he pulled his hand back. "You look different from Nobu, though..." he commented as he looked him over again. He finally sat down cross legged in front of Zale and then sighed as he reached up and resumed rubbing his ears.

Yotsy 11-07-2008 04:09 AM

Aamori smiled a little once he'd given her a gentle squeeze and then looked over at him when he asked what was so funny. She shook her head lightly when he asked if he wasn't allowed to be silly. Of course he was allowed to be. "I never said you couldn't be silly... it's just.. really weird coming from you, of all people." She uttered quietly. In all honesty it was pretty weird considering he was usually serious most of the time.

LaRae was asleep still. After she'd gone to lay down on the bed beside him she'd fallen asleep after laying there for a little while. She didn't wake when he touched her cheek though she did smile slightly and then nuzzle into her pillow a little. She wasn't all that tired anymore, she was just really comfortable. So waking her shouldn't be all that hard.

Zale stared at him and tilted his head a little when he said his let me guess question. '...I'm pretty sure you could make an attempt at telling someone else, but if I don't speak to them then they're not going to believe you.' He watched as Kanone sat down, he wagged his tail slightly while he was getting rubbed behind the ears. 'You've seen another like me?' He paused. 'None of us look the same. We've got some similarities, but we're all different.'

Cyndel 11-07-2008 04:46 AM

Celestine smiled weakly and shook his head at Aamori's comment. "...I guess it would be." he said simply, "I usually just don't feel like putting up the effort. But...just for right now I guess it wouldn't hurt." He smiled and put his hand to the side of her head and then pushed her over. "You look like you could use it." he said lightly. Lately, so long as he was alone with Aamori and no one else as around to bother him he found it pretty easy to act his age...or at least closer to it. He was only 16 after all, he was supposed to be a little goofy sometimes.

Nanashi sighed softly and then rolled onto his back and slowly pushed himself up to a sitting position. He sighed heavily at how hard even that little action was. He definitely wasn't going to be wandering around too much today, but nonetheless he slipped his legs off of the side of the bed and stood up slowly, trying not to wake LaRae while he moved. Once he made it to his feet he walked slowly across the room to the bathroom and stepped inside, closing and locking the door behind him, just in case LaRae did happen to get up. He didn't really want her walking in on him trying to use the facilities.

Kanone laughed softly, "Yeah probably...find myself in a nice padded room somewhere." he said simply, "...But yeah, there was one with Cel and the others when they came... It was a big fluffy purple one with three tails. His name was Nobu." he told him, "He's probably still with them somewhere... I mean he left with them." he said thoughtfully as he continued to rub his head lightly. He hoped the driver wasn't able to hear him down here talkign to himself...that guy was going to think he was a little off int he head if he could.

Yotsy 11-07-2008 05:45 AM

Aamori sat there quietly and gave a small sigh when he said he didn't usually feel like putting forth the effort. Thankfully for her it was kind of natural to be silly and playful. It was actually a little more work for her to be serious around him, or at least try to be. She started to glance back over to him when she felt his hand touch the side of her head but before she could even look over at him he'd already pushed her over. She just let herself fall over onto her side and didn't bother to sit herself back up. She smiled a little and shook her head. "I look like I could use it?" She paused and smiled a bit more. "You'll be able to go back to your grumpy serious self soon enough." She commented quietly. At least once his cousin got here there would be someone to make her laugh and probably brighten her mood without putting forth too much effort.

LaRae didn't start to wake until Nanashi had already sat up and had his legs off of the bed. She opened her eyes only a crack, just barely focusing on him as he got to his feet. Once he started to move towards the bathroom she shut her eyes the rest of the way and then sighed softly once she heard the door lock. This was certainly an improvement from last night, considering he was able to get himself out of the bed and go to the bathroom without too much trouble it seemed. She hadn't really noticed it before, mostly because she was more worried about him than anything else but now that she'd looked he wasn't in his usual clothes. She assumed that meant the clothing he had on that was stained and tattered was probably getting washed. Judging by the state his clothes were already in she was honestly a little surprised that anything even survived last night. She sighed again softly and nuzzled her head back against the pillow once more.

Zale listened rather intently while Kanone told him about the purple fluffy canine with three tails, apparently named Nobu. He'd never met any of the others, at least not yet so he wasn't even entirely sure what they all looked like. He just knew that they'd somehow resemble their element, at least in color anyway. He was really rather eager for the boat to make it to the other port already, especially now that he'd been told there was another one like him here in Kairava. Well, Nobu should still be here anyway and that other wind dragon had said 'another one' so this Nobu must have been there or at the very least somewhere close. It shouldn't be too hard to find him... giant purple canine, he'd stick out just as easily as a giant blue canine did. Now that he wasn't too focused on finding out about the other one he happened to notice the blades that Kanone had on him. Those certainly did look an awful lot like the blades he guarded. He moved a little, lowering his head down and inching closer to one of the blades. There was no mistaking it now, he could sense the entity inside the blade and he wouldn't be surprised to check the other one and sense one inside of it as well. He lifted his head slightly and looked up at Kanone. Him having the blades might have explained how he knew that he could talk and how he knew some about what he was but he wasn't so sure. He tilted his head to the side a little. '...Where is the guardian of your blades?' He asked finally. If Kanone had the blades then there must have been a guardian canine like him around somewhere.

Thankfully for Kanone the driver of the boat couldn't hear anything that was being said down on the main deck. Not that he would have been listening in anyway. He was more interested in getting the boat to the port and getting the wind dragon off his boat. It didn't take all that long for the boat to finally come up on the heavy fog. By the time it reached here the boat actually slowed down just a little as to make safe passage through the fog. It wouldn't be too much longer before they finally made it to port.

Cyndel 11-07-2008 07:09 AM

Celestine smiled slightly, "...Oh can I?" he said as he moved closer and leaned over her, placing one arm on the ground behind her back. "You know...it's kind of nice to when I can relax like this..." he said softly, "...It means I don't really have anything troublesome on my mind." he told her. After a moment he grinned. "Hmm... I wonder..." He muttered as he placed his hand on her side and started to wiggle the tips of his fingers around quickly, testing to see if she was ticklish.

After a few minutes Nanashi had already washed his hands and was on his way back out. He had a little trouble getting the door unlocked again but once he did he moved slowly back over to the bed. Once he reached it he all but fell over on it again, clearly already worn out again just from that little adventure. He laid back down and sighed heavily as he closed his eyes again. He had happened to think of something while he was up that was bothering him a bit now. He hadn't gotten to get all of this things out of his pockets before Kyran put his pants in that basket. He hoped that wasn't a trash can or something... his pass was still in there along with the two Gil that he had, his mother's scale, and a ring that he hadn't even bothered to take out before; mainly because he'd practically forgotten about it.

Kanone blinked when Zale asked about the guardian to his blades. "Huh? Guardian? What are you talking about?" he asked, tilting his head a little. He looked down at his blades, "They're just weapons, they've been stuffed in my closet for years, there's nothing guarding them." he said, sounding a little confused. He became a little side tracked when they hit the fog and then turned around to look behind him. He was doing good to see his hand in front of his face. "Holy crows, can he even see where he's going?" he muttered quietly.

Yotsy 11-07-2008 08:35 AM

Aamori turned her head a little and looked up at him since he'd moved to lean over her. By the time he had said that it meant he didn't have anything troublesome on his mind she had laid her head back down on the ground, mostly to try and hide the faint tint of pink that found it's way to her cheeks. She was happy to know that he relaxed enough, at least around her to not be so serious all of the time. She started to glance back at him when she heard him mutter something but her eyes widened slightly when she felt his hand on her side and then felt the tickling ensue. She immediately squirmed a little and then started laughing quietly. "..Haha ..d-don't do t-thhat ...haha." She managed through her laughing.

LaRae opened her eyes again when she felt Nanashi hit the bed and then lay back again. She watched as he sighed and then shut his eyes then she laid there quietly for a moment before she shifted slightly and leaned over to gently kiss his cheek. She smiled slightly and then laid her head back down on the pillow. "...Are you alright?" She paused. "...Is something bothering you?" She asked quietly.

Zale backed up a little from the blades when Kanone asked what he was talking about. Well that answered his question, the dimwit had the blades and knew absolutely nothing about the canine that guarded them. He shook his head lightly and sat down staring at the blades for a moment before lifting his head to look at Kanone after hearing that the blades were just stuffed into his closet for years. His tail smacked against the deck only once and a little more forcefully than usual. He wasn't even sure how a canine like he was could just sit idly by while their blades were in a closet and even now the canine still hadn't presented them self to the guy who had the blades. Perhaps it just got under his skin a little more than it should've considering he was master less and would've preferred that someone had the blades he guarded. Unfortunately he just hadn't found the right master to wield the blades yet. He shook his head a little and looked back at Kanone after standing up. '...Don't worry the driver has a machine that helps him through the fog so he doesn't even need to see in front of him. Not to mention he takes this path practically everyday.' He moved over towards the edge of the boat when the boat finally broke through the heavy fog and the main island along with it's sister islands were now clearly visible. He stood there as patiently as possible as the boat started to slow down again as it began to pull into port. It took a few minutes but as soon as the boat was stopped and the engine was shut off he wasted very little time climbing up and over the side railing and jumping down onto the dock. Obviously a little too impatient to wait for the driver to release the ramp which ended up being let down a couple moments after he'd already jumped down.

Celestine grinned again when he hears Aamori start to laugh. "Stop what?" he asked innocently, "This?" With that he all but pounced her, going at her with both hands as he tickled her side, neck, stomach...whatever looked ticklish at the time. Pretty soon he was laughing himself since he had Aamori pretty well pinned where she couldn't get away from him easily. Kanone used to do this to him all the time when he was little but eventually he'd done it so much that he wasn't even really ticklish anymore except on the back of his neck.

Nanashi smiled weakly when he felt LaRae kiss his cheek and then looked over to her. "...I'm fine just... Well...I don't know where my things are..." he said quietly, "Kyran put my clothes in some kind of basket last night and...all of my things were still in my pockets, including my pass..." he said quietly, "If that gets washed or thrown away I don't think I will be able to leave the building..." He really didn't want to love that scale or the ring either, the money he could care less about. That would barely buy gum or something.

Kanone startled when he heard Zale's tail his the deck, but he didn't really think too much of it. He was a little more concerned with the fog, though he relaxed once he heard Zale's answer to his comment. "Whoo...well that's good to know." he said simply. He stayed where he was until they were out of the fog and then stood up carefully and walked to the rail again, leaning in it lightly as he stared out over the water to the islands. He smiled when he saw the place and then shook his head slightly. "Wow..." He muttered quietly. He glanced over his shoulder when he felt Kyiri move and poke her head out of the pack so she could look as well. He reached back to rub her ears lightly and then stepped away from the rail a bit just in case she made a leap for it, though she seemed to be pretty content where she was. Kanone blinked when Zale jumped over board and then laughed, "Hey, that's not fair." he said as he shook his head. Kyiri ducked her head back into the pack again when the driver started down to lower the ramp. Kanone just sighed and started in that direction, smiling warmly at the guy as he passed. "Thank for the ride." he said as he started down the ramp. Graceful as he was he tripped on the end of the ramp as he was getting off and staggered for a moment before he caught his balance, narrowly avoiding falling on his face right there. He took a deep breath and then let it out before he straightened himself up and walked over to the other gate, smiling at the guard there as he approached.

Aamori couldn't contain her laughter even a little once Celestine started tickling her with both hands. She was laughing so much that her face had already started to redden a little, which was a good cover up for the fact that on top of her laughing like she was she was blushing as well. She'd shut her eyes tightly and continued squirming around wanting nothing more than to get free. At times like this she really hated the fact that she was so ticklish. "Haha.. t-that's e-eenough!" She struggled through her laughter. "Haha.. s-stop... ...p-plea-se ..s-stop... haha.." She continued. She was now laughing so hard that she'd started crying and she was still squirming around.

LaRae listened to him quietly and then sighed softly. She hadn't thought about that at all last night or else she might have had his things removed from his pockets. "...If you like, I can go ask Aamori where your clothes ended up and try and get your things for you." She paused. "I really don't mind looking for your things." She added. She was pretty sure that Aamori could tell her what happened to his clothes and if not then Aamori would probably be the best bet for locating them or someone who could find them.

Zale stretched a little on the deck while he waited for Kanone to get off of the boat. He shook his head slightly seeing as the driver of the boat practically ignored Kanone when he spoke to him and then hit the lever again to raise the ramp after he was off the boat. He was sure that he and Kanone were going to the same place since he had heard the guard at the other port tell him to go to the training building. Once Kanone was down and headed for the gate, he started off too. As they came up on the gate the guard was already opening it since he'd seen Zale. The guard had uttered a few words in Zale's direction about being back so soon but there wasn't anything more after that other than a brief look to Kanone and a motion of the head towards the gate that was already open. Zale continued straight through the gate, wagging his tail again since the guard had spoken to him. He glanced to Kanone for a moment just to make sure he was still coming and then he picked up his pace a little while he headed straight down the path towards the training building. He'd been here enough so looking around at the different things really didn't interest him, plus he was kind interested in finding this Nobu. Even if Kanone had gotten side tracked by the different districts on the way to the large double doors he kept walking until he reached them. Though this time he hadn't had enough speed built up to smack into the door like he had before. He just stood there and scratched at the door, waiting to see if someone would answer it like before.

Cyndel 11-07-2008 11:15 AM

Celestine continued laughing as he tickled Aamori half to death, ignoring her pleas at first though he finally stopped. He sat back and laughed for a moment, "Haha Only because you look like you're about to pass out." he said as he looked down at her. He chuckled and reached down to wipe the tears off her face since he'd gotten her laughing that hard and then shook his head, continuing t laugh softly, apparently pretty amused himself. Well at least he knew how to torture Aamori without hurting her now.

Nanashi smiled weakly and then sighed softly as he gave her a weak nod. "...If it wouldn't be too much trouble... I...don't want to lose anything." he said quietly. What little he had was very important to him even though most would probably consider it junk. He glanced away again, looking toward the ceiling for a moment before he cast his eyes off in another direction. "...And LaRae...I...I'm sorry...that I scared you last night.....both times..." he said softly. Not only had he scared her when he changed, as he'd picked up on, but also apparently when he died.

Kanone sighed softly when the driver completely ignored him. 'Hey, you're welcome, buddy.' Is that too much to ask? he thought as he approached the guard. He smiled at him and nodded when he motioned him on through and then quickened his pace a little so that he could catch up with Zale. "Whoa, hold up, Pooch, I have a feeling you know where I'm going better than I do." Even at that when he hit the market district he started looking around a little, smiling almost nervously to the people that acknowledged him. He soon completely lost sight of Zale, but he kept going straight as he'd been instructed and soon found the large building that he had been told about. He whistled quietly at the size of it and then looked down to the large doors where Zale was standing. It didn't take him long to get there before he paused. "Ummm....." He wasn't sure if he was supposed to just go in or knock or what. Just to be safe he knocked up to the large doors and rapped on one a few times with his knuckles. Hopefully that would get attention better than Zale's scratching anyway.

Yotsy 11-07-2008 12:39 PM

Aamori practically went limp laying on the ground once Celestine finally stopped tickling her. Since the tickling had stopped she slowly opened her eyes just before he had reached over to wipe away her tears. After laughing so hard she was trying her best to catch her breath. She couldn't really say that she was upset or anything, at least Celestine was laughing too. She just hoped that he'd either forget that she was that ticklish or he'd just never get the chance to do that again. Her ears perked up slightly when she was pretty sure that she'd heard someone at the door. She smiled a little after she thought about it, there had been roughly enough time for the boat to go from one port to the other. Not to mention most people who came up to this building didn't knock, usually because they worked here or were allowed in here. Her smile broadened slightly and then she started to push herself up so that she was sitting up. She looked over at Celestine and then looked towards the doors. "...Since you almost tickled me to death, how about you go see who that is." She uttered obviously still a little out of breath and not exactly asking. If he wouldn't be nice enough to get up and answer the door than of course she'd have to do it.

LaRae continued to lay there until he said he didn't want to lose anything. She could understand, she'd seen the scale that he carried around with him and knew that was important to him so she didn't exactly want to see that lost either. The pass was also pretty important since she was pretty sure that they wouldn't be getting another one if it was lost or damaged. Anything else that was in his pockets, well, she wasn't sure what else there was but she'd still try and find everything. She started to sit up and then toss her legs over the side of the bed while brushing her hair behind her ear in the process. She stood up and stretched a little before looking back at him when he started to apologize. She shook her head a little. "...You don't need to apologize for that." She paused. "You couldn't help it..." She said quietly. She then moved around to his side of the bed and gently set her hand down on his chest while she leaned over and nuzzled against his cheek. "...I'm just glad you're ...alive." She whispered then kissed his cheek before pulling back and standing up straight. "I'll find your things." She told him while she stood there for a moment longer and then started to head towards the door.

Zale stopped scratching when Kanone came up to the building and turned his head to look at him. He looked back to the door after Kanone had knocked on it a few times. He stood there for a moment before he got completely impatient once again and stood up on his hind legs, thrusting his front paws against the door rather hard and then began dragging his nails down the door as he dropped back down onto all fours. At times like this he would love to have opposable thumbs; He'd have already opened the door and gone inside.

Cyndel 11-07-2008 01:00 PM

Celestine laughed softly and shook his head slightly. His ears twitched when he heard someone at the door and he looked at Aamori for a moment before he shook his head and stood up. "Am I the new doorman?" he asked playfully. He stepped over her rather than around her and walked over to the large doors, mostly because he knew Aamori had a sore foot so he wasn't going to make her walk on it if she didn't really have to. Once he got to the door he heard the clawing on the other side and smiled slightly, assuming that was probably Zale again. He pulled open the door and then looked down at Zale, "Hey there." he said with a smile, patting his head on his way in. It was only then that he noticed a pair of boots....very familiar looking boots.

Kanone watched Zale for a moment and then looked at the door when it opened, half surprised to see that it was Celestine who answered the door...and he was smiling no less. Then again there was an animal present so that wasn't too terribly surprising. He grinned and held up a hand to him, "Hey, Cel." he said casually as he started to step inside as well.

Celestine's head shot up at the sound of the voice, his smile gone. He stared at Kanone for half of a second before his eyes narrowed, "Oh, deceitful deities!!" He snapped as he slammed the door right in his face. He turned around, glaring out into the courtyard at Aamori and was glad of the stone was so thick that no one else could hear him yelling. "Is THIS what you were so damn happy about!?!? Send him home!!"

Kanone jumped back quickly, wincing as the door slammed in his face. He blinked and stared at the door, actually able to hear Celestine yelling from this side. He sighed heavily, his ears falling back as he rapped on the door again. "That wasn't very nice, Cel! Is that any way to treat your favorite cousin!?" He leaned on the door, patting it with his hand, "Come on, let me in, give me a break I'm tired!" he whined.

Celestine just growled again. Apparently he wasn't getting rid of him that easily. He just turned around and opened the door before storming back out into the courtyard again, his tail swishing angrily behind him. Obviously...he was not happy to see Kanone here of all places.

Kanone's eyes widened when the door suddenly flew open and he fell inside, flat on his face. "....Ow." He muttered before he pushed himself up, "Yeesh, kid, what kind of a hello is that!?"

Nanashi smiled weakly at LaRae when she told him not to apologize. He knew he couldn't help it, but he still felt back for scaring her like that. He closed his head when she leaned against him and leaned his head over agianst her cheek while it was down there before opening his eyes again to look at her. He gave her a slight nod and then watched as she went. Once she was out of the room again he rolled over onto his side again and closed his eyes once more while he waited.

Yotsy 11-07-2008 02:17 PM

Aamori smiled again since he was going to get the door. She hadn't wanted to get up and walk over there herself and at the same time she had wanted Celestine to answer the door if it was indeed Kanone. She wasn't even exactly sure what type of reaction to expect out of him, but either way she still wanted to have him answer the door. She chuckled lightly at his doorman question and then watched as he stepped over her and went to the door. She watched the door from where she was sitting and tilted her head slightly when she saw Zale come inside and half wondered if that was all who was at the door. She did catch sight of Kanone just before Celestine slammed the door in his face. She winced a little herself after she saw that and then looked at Celestine with a completely innocent look on her face until he started yelling. Her ears fell back rather quickly. That was what she had been so happy about and considering the way that those two had said goodbye she had kind of expected a happier sounding hello. She started to get to her feet after he had said to send him home and half glared at him. She was going to do no such thing. This was her territory after all and for all intents and purposes this building was her home, if she didn't want to send him home then she wasn't going to. She was at least glad to see that Celestine had opened the door for Kanone, if he didn't then she'd just do it herself. She kind of wished that she had opened the door instead, since having Celestine open it resulted in Kanone having the door slammed in his face along with him falling inside. She shook her head a little as she watched Celestine storming back into the courtyard. That nice, even a little fun mood of his was gone so quickly. When she said that he could go back to being his grumpy serious self soon she hadn't quite meant it like this. She stared at him for a moment, not very happy with how he'd treated Kanone. "If you have to be mad at someone then be mad at me for inviting him here in the first place!" She spat. "There's no reason for you to treat him like that and if you have to take your frustration out on someone don't take it out on him!" She muttered before she started walking over towards the door. Once she got over there she looked at Kanone with an apologetic expression. "Are you okay?" She asked. "...I'm afraid he isn't as happy to see you as I am." She uttered before glaring back over her shoulder at Celestine.

LaRae didn't move from where she was standing after she shut the door behind her. She wasn't even sure she wanted to be out here judging by the things being said, not too quietly. She lingered by the door for a moment before she inched closer to one of the arches to stand in it and see if she couldn't find out what the big deal was. After getting a look at how angry Celestine looked she was really thinking it would've been better to go back into the bedroom.

Zale wasted no time at all getting inside once the door was opened. He glanced back at Celestine for a moment after he'd gotten inside and was waiting for Kanone to come inside. He jumped a little when Celestine slammed the door on Kanone and then whined quietly. He kind of liked Kanone, especially since the majority of the time that they had talked on the boat he had been giving him attention. So of course he didn't like seeing the door slammed in his face. His ears fell back a little after hearing Kanone whine from the other side of the door. If he could, he'd have opened the door for him. Once Celestine had finally opened the door for him and he fell in he inched a little closer to Kanone and waited to make sure he was okay.

Nobu unfortunately didn't really escape Celestine's yelling thanks to the door being left open a little like it was. He was already awake, just sprawled out on the bed taking advantage of the empty bed for a while. After the yelling seeped into the room a little and his ears picked up on it he'd already rolled back over and started to get down off of the bed. He stretched a little and then headed over to the door, slipping his paw in the crack that was left and pushing the door open the rest of the way so that he could get out. He stepped out of the room and looked over at LaRae while she stood by the arch. He started over towards her and paused just beside her looking into the courtyard, a little curious himself as to what was going on.

Cyndel 11-07-2008 02:52 PM

Celestine continued to glower at Aamori while she got onto him and he growled back at her, bearing his teeth a little. "I do not want him following us..." he growled quietly as he started back toward the fountain again the sit down, crossing his arms over his chest as he fumed. He'd gotten quite enough of Kanone flirting with Aamori back in Caledonia, he didn't want to be stuck here with it, too...especially since he doubted he'd be able to go off on either of them if Hisako was around as she often seemed to be. He was probably lucky she wasn't there right now or he'd be hearing it from her, too.

Kanone stood up and dusted himself off before he closed the door behind him and smiled warmly at Aamori. "Ah...it's fine. He'd a little hot head, hadn't you learned that?" He smiled when she said that he wasn't as happy to see him as she was. "Well I should hope not." he said with a soft laugh. "Come here." he pulled Aamori into a tight hug. "I missed my swimming buddy." he said with a soft laugh. He then glanced over to Celestine and smiled slightly, "Be right back, I have to go make a peace offering." he said quietly as he walked over to Celestine again, reaching over his shoulder to grab Kyiri by the nap of the neck. "Cel...Don't be mad. Look, I brought you a present." He said with a smile.

Celestine glared up at him before he even saw what he had. "I don't want--" he started and then blinked when he saw Kyiri. He sighed heavily and reached up to take her. He looked down at her and then closed one eye as she stretched up to lick his face with that little sand paper tongue of hers. After a moment he shook his head and wrapped his arms around her gently. He seemed happier to see her than Kanone. "Why did you bring her with you?" he muttered. For some reason he had a feeling it was just to soften him up. It was working, too. "Actually, why are you here?"

Kanone smiled slightly, "Well, couldn't leave her with no one to feed her." he said simply, "...Besides she missed you." He sighed and shook his head when he asked why he was here. "Well...I was worried and Gramps thought it wouldn't be a bad idea if I tagged along to keep an eye on you, too. Heh, and I wanted to see Aamori." he said simply.

Well that was definitely the wrong thing to say. He glowered at Kanone again, setting Kyiri on the grass as he stood up. "Keep an eye on me!? I do not need anyone keeping an eye on me, especially not you!!" he snapped at him before he started back toward his room again, though he paused and turned back to him again, "Listen to me, I can't get you out of here, but you are NOT following us any further than here! I'm not looking over my shoulder to make sure that you're not doing something that's going to get you killed every few minutes!"

Kanone smiled again as he turned around to watch him and listened to his rant. "Is that what you're so worried about?" he asked with a slight laugh, "You make it sound like I'm the one that needs babysat." He sighed heavily when Celestine didn't seem to be budging. "...Come on Cel... Give me a break. I don't feel like staying home." he said simply, his ears lowering a little, "...The house is kind of empty, ya know..." he said a little more quietly. That was probably the biggest reason he'd been so up for getting a move on. He smiled again weakly, "I promise not to get myself killed alright?" He said as he stuck out his tongue.

Celestine froze and stared at him for a moment before he sighed heavily and looked pretty defeated. How does one argue with that? "Of course it is..." he thought as he shook his head. "...Fine...do what you want. You will anyway." he said simply as he turned around and continued toward his room. Kanone getting hurt was probably the only real reason he was so against him coming...that and the fact that now Marius was sitting at home completely alone. He didn't want to watch him flirt around with Aamori, but that was really only a minor annoyance to him compared to the other worry.

Kyiri tilted her head slightly and then lowered herself tot he grass, laying her ears back a little before she started to creep after Celestine slowly. After a moment she scampered up to him and climbed the back of his shirt up to his shoulder where she resumed nuzzling against him.

Yotsy 11-07-2008 04:07 PM

Aamori sighed softly as she watched Kanone get up and shut the door behind him. She smiled weakly when he said that Celestine was a little hot head. That much was painfully obvious, but she had kind of thought since he had been in such a good mood just moments before Kanone got here that it would've taken longer for that mood to go sour. Boy was she ever wrong. It was probably a good thing that she didn't tell Celestine about the note that she got earlier, he probably would've stopped Zale from delivering it if it meant that Kanone didn't get to come here. She smiled when he pulled her into a hug and she lifted her arms to return the hug. "I missed you too." She uttered before watching as he headed over to Celestine. She wasn't so sure that bothering Celestine right now was such a good idea but she couldn't very well tell Kanone not to bother him. She stepped a little closer to the courtyard, just putting her feet on the grass. She couldn't believe that Kanone had actually brought Kyiri with him, or maybe she was more surprised that Kyiri hadn't disappeared on him over a fish or something. She watched them for a moment and sighed heavily when she heard Celestine snap on him. She really hoped that he wasn't going to be like this the whole time that Kanone was here. She had been trying not to pay too much attention to everything that they were saying and she was only picking up on little things here and there. She shook her head lightly having heard Celestine say that he didn't want to looking over his shoulder every five minutes. Well, if Kanone did follow them once they left Kairava there were other very capable people in the group that were probably a little more willing to keep an eye on him from time to time and it wasn't like either of them were little kids, they did know how to take care of themselves to some extent. After Celestine finally started going back to his room with Kyiri in tow she happened to notice LaRae was backing up a little and moving this way by going through the hall. She took a couple steps back and looked over at her while she walked up to her. "So much for a pleasant surprise, huh?" She asked of course referring to Celestine's reaction to Kanone showing up.

LaRae was quite surprised to see Kanone when he walked over to Celestine. She hadn't thought he was going to come here, but seeing him did help explain things. She waited until it looked like Celestine and Kanone were finished before she started over to Aamori. She still had to locate Nanashi's things and that was a little more important than paying attention to those two's squabbles. Once she reached Aamori she smiled weakly at her question. "I think everyone else might have a better reaction than Celestine." She uttered quietly. "I needed to ask you a question..." She stared. "Nanashi's pockets didn't get emptied out last night before his clothes were tossed into a basket. I'm looking for his clothes so that I can get what was in his pockets... where do I look?" She asked quietly.

Aamori gave a slight nod. "I do hope so.." She said quietly as she looked back over to Kanone for a moment. When LaRae said she had a question she turned her eyes back to her and waited. She nodded slightly after hearing the question. "That's an easy enough find." She paused. "You'll have to go to the laundry room, it's down in the lower level." She told her. "Those baskets lead straight to the laundry room, thanks to the chutes. If his clothes were dropped in the basket last night they're more than likely already clean." She paused. "If they're clean can you bring them to me?" She asked. "I want to see about getting him some new clothes and well, I can't very well ask him to leave here if he's still resting."

LaRae listened to Aamori and nodded lightly. Though she didn't like hearing that the clothes were probably already washed. She smiled a little hearing that Aamori wanted to look into getting him some new clothes. That was a nice gesture considering no one had even asked. "I guess I can do that. I don't think Nanashi is going to up moving around that much today so he shouldn't need his clothes right away." She said and then glanced back down the hall towards the door that Hisako usually went down. "I'll be back in a few minutes then." She then turned and started down the hall towards the door. When she reached it she opened the door and then started down in search of the laundry room.

Zale was glad himself to see that Kanone was alright. He stayed where he was at least until Aamori moved towards the courtyard and then he followed after her, standing beside her. He watched Celestine and Kanone at least until Celestine started to walk off. Once he had done that he finally noticed the purple canine standing over by the earth dragon. That must have been Nobu. He was big, furry and purple, not to mention they did have some things in common by looks. He wasted very little time rushing over to him once he was sure that he was a guardian canine like himself. He didn't leave a whole lot of time for Nobu to react before he practically pounced on him and knocked him over onto the ground. Of course he had waited until the earth dragon had moved or else he probably would've knocked Nobu into the poor girl. Since he had pounced Nobu he continued to hold him down a little while his tail swayed back and forth from excitement. He had never thought that he would get to meet one of the others so seeing Nobu and actually being able to talk to him was amazing. 'You're just like me aren't you?!' He asked rather impatiently.

Nobu hadn't noticed the other canine yet. He was a bit more interested in what was going on with Celestine and Kanone. Once Celestine was on his way back to his room with Kyiri he was thinking about following so that he could talk to Celestine a little. Though that plan was quickly changed when he soon found himself pinned down to the ground. It took him a moment to even realize what had just happened because the blue canine had knocked him down pretty hard. He just stared at the canine in a bit of disbelief. He wondered how long he had been here and gone unnoticed. 'I don't know about just like you... but speaking in creature terms, yes, I'm just like you.' He answered. He shifted slightly and tried to get out from under the guy but found a little difficulty in that at first. He finally managed to jerk himself free and get back to his feet. He looked over at him once he was standing again and shook his head lightly. This one sure was rambunctious. 'So... do you have a name and a master?' He asked rather curiously.

Zale was glad to hear Nobu talk back to him, that was just more assurance that they were the same type of creature. He didn't move off of him right away when he tried to get up. Once Nobu was standing again he started wagging his tail again and he even looked like he was having trouble just standing there where he was. He wanted to pounce him again just because he was still pretty happy about getting to meet another like him. When he heard him ask if he had a name and a master he wasted no time answering. 'My name is Zale and unfortunately I don't have a master just yet.' He paused. 'What about you, Nobu, do you have a master?'

Cyndel 11-07-2008 11:03 PM

Kanone just smiled weakly as he watched Celestine wander back toward his room and then shook his head and looked back over to Aamori. His smile broadened a little when he saw LaRae standing over there talking to Aamori as well. He finally started back over in that direction so he could say 'hi' to her as well though by the time he got himself moving she was already heading for another door. He shook his head slightly and sighed, "Well...that was fun." he said with a soft laugh. "At least I got that stupid cat out of my bag." he commented lightly as he set his his chin down on top of Aamori's head from behind and draped his arms over her shoulders. "Aamoriiii, I'm hungry. Where's that giant fish you promised?" he asked with a soft laugh. He was mostly teasing, but he could stand to eat. One apple for breakfast and then a few hours of flying could tucker a guy out. He stepped back and smiled, "You weren't kidding about the fish being huge. Kyiri almost got herself eaten before I even got off the docks." He glanced after Celestine again for a moment then looked back to her again, "By the way...what happened to his face?" he asked, referring of course to the large bruise that covered half of his cheek.

Celestine had every intention of going back to his room, closing the door, and hoping that it had a lock. He blinked when he realized that it was already open and then remembered that he'd left it cracked for Nobu. He sighed softly and glanced around for a moment until he noticed Nobu over closer to LaRae's room, though mere seconds after he'd looked Zale tackled him over. He stopped walked and stared at the two for a moment, catching on to their conversation without really trying to. It was easy for him to read the mind of people (or animals apparently) who had to same ability so it was kind of hard not to hear them. He finally walked over to his door and tugged it closed with a sigh before he just walked over to Nobu and Zale. Once he got there he reached over to Nobu and laid his hand on his head gently, rubbing his fingers behind his ears for a moment as he looked at Zale. He almost smiled seeing how he was still having a hard time sitting still. He didn't bother to say anything to either of them since he didn't really want to butt in on their conversation. He finally just sighed and sank to the floor, leaning against the wall between two of the arcs.

Kyiri bounded off of Celestine's shoulder as soon as he was seated and pranced right over to Nobu, purring as she rubbed around his legs. Apparently that was another one that she'd missed. He was warm and soft so she liked laying against him. She looked up at Zale for a moment and timidly inched forward to sniff his paw. Her tails swayed behind her for a moment just before she started licking Zale's leg like there was no tomorrow.

Finally the one who had been following her set of blades made it to the building as well. She had remained flying high in the sky so that even if she happened to be noticed one would probably dismiss her as a large bird. She'd kept an eye on where the boy with the blades had gone, though she was only now getting there as she finally swooped lower in her flight and landed lightly on the rooftop of the stone circle. Her wings folded along her sides as she slowly she edged over to the interior of the circle and peered down into the courtyard, barely able to see what was going on down there since most of the people were standing almost directly under her. Her shadow broke the smooth line on the ground created by the building's rooftop, though just by that it was hard tot ell what was up there...just that something was.

Aamori watched as LaRae left and started for the door. She lifted her eyes a little and tried to look up when she felt Kanone set his chin on her head. She smiled slightly hearing him ask about the fish. "You were outside, why didn't you go fishing?" She asked while holding back a small laugh. "And I don't remember promising that I would get you fish if you came to visit." She said and then laughed quietly. She shook her head lightly hearing that Kyiri had almost gotten herself eaten by one of the fish here. She hadn't really thought about Kyiri's size compared to the fish here. That poor cat was going to look like food to nearly every fish here. Well, that just meant they'd have to keep a close eye on her when they left the building. She sighed softly when she heard him ask about the bruise on Celestine's cheek. It was a shame that wasn't as easy to hide as the bruises she had. "...I don't know exactly what happened." She paused. "It was an accident, I believe. He just got hit in the head pretty hard, that's all." She said quietly. "I wasn't awake when it happened, so I don't really know the details." She added lastly.

Nobu hadn't really been paying too much attention to anything else at the moment, other than Zale. So he startled a little when he felt someone touch his head, though he recognized the touch without having to look up. He did finally have to glance down after a moment when he felt something rubbing against his legs. Somehow he wasn't all that surprised to see Kyiri here too. He lifted his head back and looked at Zale, to answer his question. He was a little surprised that Zale knew his name, but he guessed he must have heard it from someone. 'Yes, I do.'

Zale watched as Celestine came towards them and wound up sitting down against the wall. He glanced down a little when Nobu did and he looked at the cat. Of course he was having even more trouble sitting still now because he wanted to play with her. When she started licking his leg he had to back up a little. It didn't bother him that much but it did make it kind of hard to concentrate on the conversation with Nobu. He looked back to Nobu when he answered his question. He thought for a moment and then looked back over towards Kanone briefly. 'Oh! That reminds me!' He started. 'I think there's another one of us around here somewhere. That guy over there, he's got a pair of our blades... but when I asked him about the guardian he didn't know what I was talking about.' He paused. '...So I don't think he knows anything about the blades, or us.'

Nobu had looked back down at Kyiri while she was licking Zale's leg. Though he lifted his head up as soon as he heard what Zale was saying about the blades. He shifted slightly to see what Zale was talking about. He hadn't remembered Kanone having blades before, or well, he hadn't ever seen them. He didn't remember any other canines like them either when they were in Caledonia so he was a little curious himself now. He glanced back over at Celestine and stared at him for a moment. He half wondered if Celestine could hear what they were talking about, if he could that would save him having to explain things. 'Celestine... did you know Kanone has blades ...like mine?'

LaRae slipped down the stairs and started looking around for the laundry room. She was a little surprised at how different the lower level looked compared to the main level. It almost seemed dank and dark down here. Well, of course it was dark. She sighed softly and continued walking around looking at the different signs on the doors until she finally came to the one marked as laundry. She reached for the knob and opened the door quietly, stepping inside. She looked around a little everything in the room. It was a large room with a could different chutes and quite a few areas to wash clothes. Then of course, there were a lot of clothes in here too, both clean and dirty. She really did hope this wasn't going to be that hard to find his clothes. She was a bit surprised to find that there was only one girl down here at the moment and she seemed pretty busy. Regardless she stepped over to her and waited for her to finish what she was doing before getting her attention. "I'm looking for some clothes that came down here sometime last night from the male bath." She paused. "...They should be pretty beat up." She added lastly and then glanced around a little.

The girl looked up at LaRae when she finally started asking about some clothes. She nodded slightly, not bothering to say anything. She did know the clothes that the she was looking for, after all it wasn't everyday that they saw such beat up clothes. Not to mention it didn't look like anything that she'd seen before. Thankfully for things like this they did have a separate area that they put the clothes they didn't recognize. She moved over to the little shelf and picked up the clothes before walking them back over to the girl. She held them out to her, again not saying anything but judging by the look on the girls face it was obvious she would've said 'Are these the clothes?' She wasn't antisocial or anything, at least not on purpose. She just couldn't speak, it was physically impossible with her vocal chords damaged.

LaRae watched as the girl went to look for something, she hoped it was the clothes she'd asked for. She was a little curious as to why the girl wasn't talking to her, or talking period for that matter. She gave a small sigh of relief when the girl walked back over with Nanashi's clothes and handed them to her. Well at least that was pretty easy, now she just hoped that his things were still in the pockets. She quirked a brow slightly when the girl still didn't say anything but by the look on her face she knew the girl was asking if these were them. She reached out and took the clothes from her and smiled a bit, with a nod. "Yes, these are what I was after. Thank you." She said quietly. She waited for a moment to see if the girl was going to say anything to her, when she didn't she sighed softly and started to head back out of the room. She shut the door behind her and then set his shirt over her shoulder while she started to unfold the pants to check the pockets. She was a little surprised to find that his things were still in his pockets. She pulled out the scale, ring and the measly two gil and then slipped them into her pocket for now. She then went looking for the pass, only to find that it was nothing more than tiny pieces of illegible paper. She sighed heavily and pulled all the small pieces out of the pocket before just stuffing them into her back pocket with along with her note from her foster parents. She folded the pants back up and took the shirt from her shoulder and held them in her hands while she headed back for the stairs. Well... at least most of the things survived and she could very easily give Nanashi her pass instead. If either of them were going to be found without one it'd go better for her if she didn't have one than it would if he didn't. Or at least she assumed that anyway.

Kanone laughed softly at Aamori's comments about the fish. He nodded slightly when she said that he'd gotten hit in the head pretty hard. "Ah... Hah, Mom would be throwing a fit right about now." he said in an amused tone. Sonia had always freaked out whenever anything smacked Celestine in the head. It drove him and Celestine both nuts when she did, but he could kind of understand why she had. It worried him a little that Celestine was so easily knocked unconscious or dazed. Hell, after the hit he'd taken back then he was lucky to still be alive at all and he had been known to forget a few things on occasion when he woke up from being knocked out. He seemed to be doing just fine today though, so he wasn't too worried about it. "Ah well... he'll heal." he said with a half smile. He glanced around a little, "This is some place you've got here. What are you training for, anyway?" he asked as he quirked an eyebrow at her, "Heh I was pestering one of the guards at the dock...nice guy, actually, he was feeding Kyiri little pieces of fish, but...um yeah anyway...He said something about mentioning the trainee when he was talking to me and telling me where to go and stuff. Oh yeah, he said I need some kind of pass?" he said as he tilted his head a little. He still wasn't doing much better than he had been at the dock, he couldn't seem to stay on one topic for more than five seconds.

Celestine was still listening to what the two of them were going back and forth about, though he seemed a little interested when Zale mentioned another of them being around. It didn't click to him what he meant until he mentioned the blades that Kanone had and Nobu inquired about them. "I..." He thought for a moment and then sighed. "I knew that he had a set of blades, but I'd almost forgotten about them. I didn't think abut it until you mentioned it... they belonged to his father and when his father died his mother told him to hold onto them, and he just put them up. I didn't know that they were those blades... and there was never any kind of guardian like you around that I saw..." He paused for a moment and his ears drooped slightly, "...Maybe...could something have killed it? There are a lot of things there that are your size and bigger..." He shook his head slightly and then looked back out toward the courtyard again, looking for Kanone so he could check out the blades, though he narrowed his eyes when he noticed something a little off in the scenery. There was a definite...lump in the shadow cast by the roof where it should have been straight. "...What is that?" he muttered as he started to get up. "There is something on the roof..."

Kyiri looked up at Zale when he backed away from her and then went back to Nobu and snuggled against his leg before she started to weave between them again. Seconds later however she was right back on Zale, licking him again. He tasted a little fishy to her, so she could probably do that all day if he'd let her. She seemed completely obvious tot he fact that she was interfering with a conversation since she couldn't hear it going on.

Aamori chuckled quietly after listening to Kanone and his rather abrupt topic changes. She wasn't exactly sure how to go about answering his question about what she was training for. It would probably be easy enough to just come right out and say who she was and that was why she trained, but she wasn't really sure that she wanted to go into all of that right now. Not to mention she wasn't sure how he'd react to finding out that she was an Elder in training. So far the others seemed to be taking it alright, but then again they hadn't really had the time to say anything to her about it. At any rate, he was bound to find out about it sooner or later and for now she didn't want to bring it up. "I'm glad that one of the guards there was nice. The one when we came through wasn't all that pleasant." She uttered quietly. "As for training... it's nothing really." She paused. "Mostly combat training... nothing special." She added. "And I'll make sure that you get a pass as soon as Hisako gets back. Until then you'll just have to stay in here." She paused. "The passes let you all wander around outside of this building freely." She didn't think he'd have a problem having to stay in the building for awhile. After all, everything he may need was here in the building and she doubted he'd want to go run around outside after the lengthy trip of getting here.

Nobu glanced down at Kyiri briefly when she snuggled against his leg and then began weaving between his legs. He shook his head a little watching her go right back over to bother Zale. He looked back over to Celestine after listening to everything that he had said. He shook his head a little once more. 'If his father is the one who had the blades previously, I'd like to guess that he knew about the guardian. I don't think the one who guards those blades would go too long without making their presence known.' He glanced back over towards Kanone again, eying the blades. 'And... we don't exactly die unless our blades are broken. We can get hurt badly and be on the verge of death but if our blades are still in one piece we'll heal easily enough.' He paused. 'Those blades aren't broken and they don't look damaged, so I'd assume the guardian is around somewhere.' He looked back to Celestine when he said there was something on the roof. He hadn't really looked before, or even been paying attention for that matter but now that his attention was on it he was a little curious himself. He moved from the arches, out into the courtyard to look up at the roof.

Zale was trying his hardest to ignore Kyiri and listen to everything that Nobu and Celestine were talking about but that was easier said than done. When she came back over and started to lick him again he'd lost nearly all interest in the conversation and looked down at her while she licked him. He moved his leg again, lifting it up so that she couldn't reach it and then set it down on top of her gently. He then lowered his head down and looked at her for a moment before he slobbered on her head when he licked it.

LaRae reached the stairs and headed back up to the main level, closing the door behind her once she'd reached the top. She sighed softly and started to head back over towards Aamori. She smiled slightly at Kanone and then held the clothes out to Aamori. "Here, this is everything but his coat." She paused. "...Do you need that too?" She asked now that she'd thought about it. She kind of hoped that she could do without his coat because she wasn't sure that she could take that out of the room without him noticing and wanting to know what she was doing with it. She sighed softly. "Well, I need to get some stuff back to Nanashi. If that's all you needed, I think I'll head back."
