Kanone glanced back to Aamori and blushed slightly when she leaned closer to him and curled up to get comfortable. He just smiled and shook his head before he tightened his grip around her shoulders slightly. "Silly girl..." he said quietly. In all honesty he'd half expected her to get mad about what he'd said and want to go off, not get closer. After a moment he moved his hand to comb his fingers through Aamori's hair gently, half awed by how soft it felt. The feeling alone was enough to make him want to continue doing it. He just smiled as his fingers weaved their way through her hair. "...Hmmm you really do have a nice head of hair... Feels more like petting silk than hair." he commented quietly. Finally he just leaned his head back a little and looked up at the sky again. "...So...how many times have you guys had birds trying to build a nest in here?" he asked with a quiet laugh, thinking about of the question that he hadn't bothered to ask Hisako.
Aamori shut her eyes gently when he started combing his fingers through her hair. So long as she didn't have any tangles that was actually pretty relaxing. She continued to keep her eyes shut and smiled a little when he complimented her hair again. "When you wash your hair with the all natural shampoo we have it does tend to make your hair really soft." She commented quietly. She finally opened her eyes again, only a little when he leaned his head back a little and asked his question. That was a little random. She sighed softly and shut her eyes again. "I don't usually hear about any birds that have to be removed from here. I think they're a little too smart to try and stay in a place like this." She paused. "Not to mention most of the birds in Kairava are a little too large to make nests in here. I mean... could you honestly imagine seagulls or something trying to nest in here?" She asked with a quiet chuckle.
Kanone laughed slightly and then shook his head. "What you mean you guys don't have any house wrens around here anywhere?" he asked lightly, "No little birds? What don't tell me it's all sea gulls and pelicans." he said with a light smile. He laughed again, "Heh I just wondered... I asked Hisako about this place before. Heh After I got in here and looked around I kinda wondered why you people even had a door on this place." he said with a slight laugh, "Then she explained what was in here and stuff and why people didn't just fly in here, but that didn't cover the birds...or the bugs." he said with a slight laugh. "You never wake up int he morning getting eaten alive by mosquitoes or anything, do you?" He laughed softly and then shook his head and leaned it head over against hers again lightly. "Heh."
Aamori shook her head lightly. "There's mostly just seagulls and pelicans." She paused and thought for a moment. "Hmm... but I think there might still be a few royal terns and black skimmers around. They aren't very big in size really but they're not exactly small either." She started to open her eyes a little. "They're something like eighteen to twenty inches in size... any birds smaller than that... well, the rather large fish around here tend to try and eat them when they get the chance." She paused. "And if the bird can't make a nest in a palm tree... they're more inclined to go somewhere else to nest." After she finished talking about the birds she finally registered that he'd mentioned bugs and she opened her eyes the rest of the way and started glancing around a little hoping like crazy that wasn't brought up because he saw some. "...Mosquitoes?" She paused. "No, I can't say I've had the pleasure of waking up to those wretched things eating me alive. They do prefer still water after all and all of the water around here is kind of... moving, all the time." She said with a soft chuckle. "Besides, I have no window in my room. So if the door is shut most of the day other than for going in and out than there is very little time for the buggers to get into my room to be able to have a feast."
Kanone laughed quietly and then shook his head. "No windows? Do you sleep in a bedroom or a tomb? Even cells have windows." He just sighed and pulled her a little closer to him before he shook her a little playfully. "Speaking of...aren't you ready to go to bed? I mean...you look like you could fall asleep right here if I shut up long enough. And I get the feeling your brother would beat me up if he saw that." he said with a soft laugh. "I don't want to wake up looking like Cel in the morning."
Aamori kept her eyes shut and she chuckled slightly. "They call it a bedroom but the only thing that makes it resemble that is the fact that there is actually a bed in there." She paused. "If it weren't necessary that I get at least a little sleep I think they'd take the bed out of there just to put in more book shelves or another desk..." She muttered quietly. Even though that was, for all intents and purposes her room, it sure didn't feel like it. She didn't pick any of the stuff that went inside and the only thing in the room that was actually hers to begin with was the stuffed bear hidden just under her bed. Her eyes finally popped open when he shook her a little and she sat there for a moment before sighing softly. She guessed it would be better for her to go to bed rather than fall asleep here, even if she was already pretty comfortable. She started to sit up off of him a little, enough to move her arm so that she could push herself away from him and she nearly knocked herself over in the other direction. Had she not caught herself with her other arm she'd more than likely have been laying on the ground. She sighed softly and started to get to her feet. She was a little wobbly getting up but straightened up easily. She couldn't help but think it probably would've been better for her to have just gone straight to bed when she got back here. It hadn't registered to her or her body for that matter just how tired she was until she'd had a chance to relax and was now trying to move around again. "I guess I'll leave you alone now.. and go to bed." She uttered tiredly as she reached over and set her hand on top of his head with a slight smile. She started rubbing her hand back and forth on top of his head a bit, half intentionally trying to mess up his hair. She tilted her head back slightly and lifted her other hand to try and block out a yawn while she still messed with his hair, though she absently started leaning slightly which caused her to put a little more pressure against his head with her hand. All the while she was still leaning more and more until it eventually lead to her just falling right over onto him with a quiet squeak.
Kanone smiled weakly and then shook his head and laughed softly. "Be glad you're not a machine I guess." he said with a soft laugh. He blinked when she nearly fell over sideways and grabbed for her, though she'd already caught herself. He shook his head again and then sighed softly and pulled his arm back. "Be careful, I told you to go to bed not break your neck." he said with a slight smile. He blinked when she put her hand on his head and started messing up his hair. He blinked and then sighed softly and shook his head a little. "Now how come you want to mess up my hair but don' want Kyiri touching yours?" he asked with a soft laugh. He blinked when he felt her weight getting heavier and heavier on his head. "Um...Aamori...heavy..." he commented just before she fell over on top of him and knocked him over sideways. "Gack! Really heavy!" he commented as he tried to sit her up off of his stomach where she'd ended up. Once she'd landed on him it had forced him over onto his back, or at least most of him...his legs were still twisted at a pretty awkward angle. "I am not your bed, get off." he said with a laugh as he shook his head.
Aamori didn't move very much after she fell on Kanone. She just laid there with her eyes shut and her cheeks flushed with color all over again, feeling quite embarrassed. She really hadn't meant to fall like she had, hell, she didn't even realize that it was happening until it was far too late to be able to do anything about it. When she heard him say for her to get off she sighed quietly and after a moment she shifted so that she could push herself up and off of him. Once she'd managed to push herself off of him successfully she sat herself up and tried to keep herself from just giving in and falling backwards to lay on the ground. She glanced at him briefly before averting her eyes. "...I'm ...sorry." She mumbled. She continued to sit there for a few moments before she started trying to get to her feet once more. Just like before she wobbled while she was standing up, but thankfully that faded once she was actually upright. "...I didn't ..hurt you did I?" She asked quietly then sighed softly as she glanced back towards her bedroom door briefly. That walk always seemed longer when she was tired. She turned a little in that direction and set her hands out just a little when she felt like she may start to lose her balance and fall again. Though should she happen to fall again she was going to do her best to make sure she didn't land on Kanone.
Kanone smiled slightly at her when she sat off of him and then shook his head slightly in answer to her question. "Nah, I'm fine." he said softly. He sat up himself once she was out of the way and then shook his head as he got to his feet and dusted himself off a little. Once he was standing he walked over to her and gently placed his hands on her arms but below her shoulders. "You really are worn out, aren't you?" he asked softly, "Which room is yours? I'll walk you." he offered with a smile. "Don't want you to fall again..." He waited until she had pointed out her room or started moving before he started after her whether she liked it or not. He wasn't going to give her a chance to fall over again. He'd rather her land on him than the ground anyway.
Aamori was at least glad to know that she hadn't hurt him. Since he had said 'really heavy' she thought she might have. She wasn't really that heavy was she? She looked back to him when he started to get to his feet and watched as he came over and placed his hands on her arms. She stared at him for a moment before she started to open her mouth. "...It's the only other colored door other than the guest rooms." She uttered quietly. "You don't have to walk me..." She added. She really didn't want to trouble him with making sure that she made it to her room without falling again, especially since she'd already fallen on him once. If she had to be truthful she much rather preferred falling asleep somewhere or on someone when she was this worn out and than waking up in her bed with no real knowledge of how she got there. Having to get to her bed before she actually passed out somewhere was definitely a lot harder in her opinion. She started for her bedroom door whether or not he followed after her. She was still a bit wobbly here and there but she did manage to make it to the door without falling. Once she reached it she did lean against it for a moment before slipping her hand down to open the door. After she opened the door she forgot to stop leaning on it and the door fell in, taking her with it. When the door hit the wall, once fully opened, she smacked her head into it with a quiet thud. She stood there for a moment without lifting her head up from the door and gave a tired sigh. She sure was doing a good job of embarrassing herself. When she finally lifted her head up from the door she staggered back a step and lifted her hand to rub her forehead. At a time like this she sure was glad that her horns wrapped around her head the way they did or else hitting a door like she did may have hurt more.
Kanone smiled slightly at Aamori when she said that he didn't have to follow her and just shook his head. As soon as she was moving he was right on her heels, watching her to make sure that she didn't fall. Every time she started staggering he raised his hands a little to prepare to catch her if she fell. He was relieved when she got to the door without falling, though he just stood there beside her while she rested, absently glancing around again for a moment. Apparently he decided to look away about the time that she decided to open the door. He caught sight of her falling inside out of the corner of his eye, though he missed when he tried to grab her. His ears laid back when he heard the bang of the door hitting the wall and then her head connecting to the door. He cringed slightly and then stepped inside slowly and reached out to place his hand on her shoulder lightly before he offered her a weak smile. "Heh...I missed. Are you alright?" he asked softly. He sighed and put his arm around her for a moment before he grinned and just bent down to knock her legs out from under her so he could lift her up into his arms. He chuckled quietly before he carried her over to her bed and sat her down carefully, making sure that her head was resting on her pillow. "There, you made it." he said with another quiet laugh. "Um...should I take your socks off?" he asked with a soft laugh as he looked down at her boots. Those things really did look more like socks to him than shoes, though considering that she was walking around in them he guessed they were supposed to be some kind of shoe.
Aamori rubbed her head momentarily and then cracked an eye open to look over at Kanone when he asked if she was alright. She sighed softly and then nodded her head a little while she started to remove her hand from her reddened forehead. Her eyes shot open and she gasped quietly when she felt her legs knocked out from under her, though she relaxed considerably when she realized that Kanone had lifted her up. She stared up at him quietly with a small smile, rather glad that she wasn't going to have to embarrass herself further with an attempt of reaching the bed. She gave a soft sigh, remembering that he had done this once before. Although, she had a head of wet hair then and a rear full of those stupid tiny thorns. Once he had set her down on the bed and said she made it, she smiled again. "It's a miracle." She chuckled lightly. She stared at him for a moment when he asked if he should take her socks off. It took her a moment to even register what he was meaning because she'd rarely ever heard her boots called socks before. Then again, these boots were something she was used to and if someone had never seen them before they might think they were nothing more than socks. She shook her head a little. "I'm not wearing socks." She paused. "...I would appreciate some help with my boots, however." She chuckled and then started to try and sit herself up.
Kanone laughed slightly when she said that she would like some help with her boots. "You call that a boot? It doesn't even have a sole, it's just cloth." he said with a slightly laugh, "These are just glorified socks." He teased as he took a hold of the boot near her toes and pulled. He blinked when he didn't move and then shook her foot up and down a little. "Hmmm...." He half smiled and then reached up to the top of her boot and peeled it off, though the way that he did it just cause it to turn wrong-side-out. He poked the toe in a little and then reached inside the boot and flipped it back out the right way before he laid it on the bed and then flipped her dress aside and grabbed the other boot, removing it the same way. He turned it right-side-out again and then put it with the other one, though he blinked when he saw that one was shorter than the other one. "...And people say I dress weird." he said playfully before he laid the boots int he floor beside the bed. He tilted his head slightly when he caught sight of her foot and then placed his hand on it lightly. "Ow..." he muttered quietly before he lifted her legs a little so he could get her blanket out from under her. He pulled it up over her and then smiled slightly and reached down to slide the sleeve off of her other arm. "Okay that's as close to getting you ready for bed as I'm getting." he said with a soft laugh. He laid her glove on the closest table to her bed and then leaned down over her. "Good night, Aamori." He said lightly as he kissed her forehead where she'd bumped it.
Aamori shook her head lightly when he said that her boots were just glorified socks. They did have soles, they were just a thin rubber. Mostly to keep her from slipping while wearing them. She laughed quietly and then laid right back down when Kanone started to shake her foot up and down a little while trying to remove her boot. She probably could've told him exactly how to go about doing it but she had meant to try removing the boots herself, though she didn't quite make it that far and she was already too amused by his first attempt to even speak. Her cheeks found a light red hue when he reached up and started to peel her taller boot off. It was definitely different having a guy helping her out of any piece of clothing, especially since her brother wouldn't even go anywhere near her boots when she was too tired to take them off herself. He'd always get Hisako or which ever nurse was on duty at the time. By the time he was removing the other boot the color in her cheeks had faded. She looked at him when she heard what he said and sighed softly. "The one is only shorter so that it doesn't interfere with how my holster hangs and buckles." She uttered quietly. He could say it was weird all he liked but it was done the way it was for a good reason. At least at the time it was. She had actually forgotten about her foot, at least until he touched it and said 'ow'. She probably should've stayed off of it for the day since it was bruised. Since she hadn't and had even walked quite a bit it was probably swollen considerably. Her arm wasn't too much better either, well, it wasn't swollen but it was discolored thanks to the bruise. She was a little surprised to see that he was actually tuckering her in, even making sure that she was covered up. She hadn't expected him to do that, along with carry her to her bed. She snuggled into the blanket a little and smiled. "Thank you, Kanone." With as tired as she was, especially now that she'd been laying in bed it actually wouldn't have mattered if anything was removed. She'd have fallen asleep anyway and more than likely stayed asleep for awhile before she even realized she wasn't in her pajamas. She stared up at him when he leaned over her then her cheeks immediately flushed with color again when he kissed her forehead. "...G-goodnight."
Kanone smiled warmly when he saw the color in her cheeks again. He just shook his head and then started for the door. "Goodnight." he said again before he slipped out of the room an closed the door behind him. He sighed heavily and stretched slightly before he started around the hall to get back to the room that Celestine was using. He opened the door quietly and stepped inside before he glanced over to the bed. He almost laughed when he saw Celestine laying across the bed with his head nearly handing off of the end and the the canines beside him. Well so much for him getting the bed tonight. He shook his head and walked to the bed to steal a pillow since Celestine wasn't using it and then turned to go back to the couch, dropping anything that may have been on it onto the floor before he tossed the pillow down against the arm rest and laid don, stretching out along the couch, though it was a little short for him. He sighed and closed his eyes, though he found himself rolling around a good deal before he finally got comfortable enough to go to sleep. Well at least he wasn't stuck on the roof.
Aamori rolled onto her side and curled up a little once she heard her bedroom door shut. It didn't take long at all for her to fall asleep and she stayed asleep throughout the night with little to no movement at all. When morning finally rolled around she woke herself up a little past the time that Hisako was usually in her room trying to get her up. She started to push herself up so that she was sitting up, then rubbed her eyes gently while she glanced around the room. She was honestly a little surprised to not see Hisako anywhere in her room. She had expected the usual morning training to be back on schedule but something must have gone on to keep Hisako from getting her up. She continued to sit there for a moment before she started pushing the blanket back and pulling her legs out from under it. She slipped her legs off the side of the bed and then lifted her hand to stifle a yawn. She could stand to get a couple more hours of sleep but it would be her luck to decide to go back to sleep and Hisako would be in here mere moments after she was out cold again to wake her up. She sighed softly and reached for her sleeve on the side table. She slipped it back on, mostly to keep the bruise on her arm covered. She then went to get her boots and started to put them back on. She thought briefly about changing out of her dress into her training top but figured she could do that after she found out what was going on. She stood up from her bed and was about to head for the door but paused and turned to move towards her vanity. She wasn't going to step one foot out there if her hair was a mess.
Yoichi wound up not making it home this night. Hisako worked him through the night with stupid tasks and then even made him go work with the girl in the laundry room for a little while, all in hopes that he wouldn't try to play hooky again. She may have succeeded in that. When he had finished all the work and Hisako had told him that it was okay to go home he made it to the main level and ended up just walking over to Zale and going to sleep on the ground, leaning against him. He wasn't going to try walking all the way back home just an hour or two before the sun was going to start coming up. He'd surely wind up waking up his parents and he didn't want to do that so he just laid down on the ground. If he really wanted a bed to sleep in he probably could've tried one of spare rooms downstairs but he didn't want to go down there and face Hisako again. Surprisingly enough both he and his sister had similar sleeping habits. While he slept he turned onto his side and curled up a little while trying to burrow his head into Zale. He probably would've been more comfortable if Zale had fur that was fluffy or if he'd grabbed a blanket or something. |
Celestine managed to sleep through most of the night, though Kanone still woke him up with his snoring about an hour or so before the sun would have come up. Needless to say he did not remain in the room for too much longer. He slipped off of the bed carefully, trying not to wake Nobu and Esen assuming that they weren't already awake. Once his feet were on the floor he went to the door quietly and slipped outside, again leaving it open a crack so the canines could get out if they wanted since he knew that Kanone could sleep through anything and they probably wouldn't get him up to open the door until after noon sometime. Once outside he just walked quietly out to the court yard, though he stopped short when he saw Yoichi sleeping on the ground with Zale. He sighed heavily and stopped by the arch for a moment before he stepped a little further into the courtyard before he just opened his wings and few quietly up to the roof, as was his usual escape option. Once up there he just lay down closer to the inner part of the circle and closed his eyes. He was pretty content just laying up there, although it wasn't all that comfortable. After an hour or two he rolled over to glance down into the courtyard, half wondering where Hisako was. He was kind of surprised that she hadn't already dragged Aamori up and started with her training. Maybe it was earlier than he thought it was, but he could already see the sun coming up.
Aamori finished brushing her hair rather quickly. It wasn't really that messy considering she'd spent the entire night asleep on her side without her usual tossing and turning. She started for her door, slipping outside into the hall and making sure to close the door behind her. She was going to walk straight towards the door to go downstairs to see what was going on with Hisako since she hadn't woken her up but she detoured when she noticed an all too familiar blue haired boy laying in the courtyard with Zale. When she got over to them she stared at her brother for a moment before shaking her head lightly. It was a rare sight to see him asleep here of all places and it looked like he was really asleep. At least now she had some rough idea of why Hisako hadn't been up to wake her like she usually did. If Yoichi was asleep here, then Hisako was probably asleep in her room which meant that they had been up pretty late. She knelt down and then reached over with her hand, extending her index finger and began poking Yoichi's cheek a few times. She watched for a reaction and sighed heavily when she didn't even get him trying to move out of the way of her finger.
Zale didn't mind that much, being used as a pillow. Actually, sometimes it was kind of nice to be needed for something other than a messenger. He was awake when Celestine had come out of his room, though he didn't bother moving. He would've probably run over to see him but with Yoichi asleep on him like he was he didn't want to do anything that could disturb his sleep. When Aamori wound up making her way over he finally lifted his head a little to look over at her. Aamori shifted her gaze a little when she noticed that Zale had lifted his head and had looked over at her. She smiled a bit and finally stopped poking Yoichi in the face so that she could reach over and pat Zale's head. "You probably didn't get a say in the matter, did you Zale?" She asked quietly with a soft laugh. She glanced back down at her brother and sighed again. Really... what must Hisako have punished him with if he was too tired to walk home? She smiled slightly and moved her hand to pinch Yoichi's nose closed. She tilted her head to the side slightly and waited for some sort of reaction, though all that managed was for him to start breathing through his mouth. She shook her head lightly and pulled her hand back before looking at Zale again. "I have a feeling you may be here, like this, awhile. He's pretty out of it..." She uttered quietly. |
Celestine was just about to lay back down again when he noticed Aamori come out into the courtyard. Well that was quite honestly unexpected. He didn't think he would see her until sometime int he afternoon without someone rolling her out of bed. He watched her while she poked Yoichi in the face and then shook his head as he sat up, letting his legs hang over the side of the building. He sat there for a few moments and then sighed and hopped off again, opening his wings so he could glide down to the ground. Once he touched down he folded his wings behind him again and then started to walk over to Aamori. "Do you really have to try to wake him up?" he asked, keeping his voice low so as not to disturb Yoichi, though it seemed that was near impossible right about now. "I think I like him better like this." He glanced down to him again and then walked over to the other side of Zale and knelt down to pet him. "He looks like you sleeping on Nobu." he commented, shaking his head slightly. He had thought about getting Yoichi a blanket or something but Nobu and Esen were on the bed so he couldn't really get the blanket from there and as far as he knew that was the only one he had available. He couldn't really tell if Yoichi was cold or not but it was fairly nippy out here, at least in the mornings. Thankfully Celestine was used to cool weather after living int he mountains for so long, so this was nothing to him. After a moment he finally started to unbutton his vest and then slipped out of it before he draped the suede material over Yoichi, mostly to cover his arms.
Kyiri was still laying outside near the fountain where everyone had left her the night before. She hadn't bothered to get up since Celestine had gone straight to the roof, but now that he was back down she hopped up and scampered over to him, crawling up into his lap and curling up before he could escape again. As soon as she had him pinned she began purring and rubbing her head against his chest lightly before she hopped up to lick his chin the way that she had done to Aamori last night after making her angry. Celestine glanced back down to Kyiri and smiled before starting to rub behind her ears. "Morning, Kyiri." he said softly as he scooped her up into his arms and cuddled her....well until she found her way onto his shoulder and started licking his ear. He laughed softly and shook his head a little, trying to get her to stop as he leaned his head away from her little sandpaper tongue. |
Aamori continued to stay where she was looking down at her brother, glancing over to Zale occasionally. She didn't even notice Celestine until he had touched down and started to close his wings. She looked at him when he started to walk over and smiled a little. "I'm not exactly trying to wake him up." Though she wasn't going to complain if the things she was doing happened to wake him up. She looked back down at Yoichi when Celestine said that he thought he liked him better this way. "I bet you like a lot of people better when they're sleeping." She commented quietly. Her eyes shifted to Celestine briefly when he commented that Yoichi looked like she did when she slept on Nobu. She shook her head lightly. She hadn't really even noticed, then again she had no idea what she looked like when she was sleeping. She quirked a brow slightly and watched as Celestine started to remove his vest and then draped it over Yoichi. She smirked lightly and looked back down at her brother for a moment. "So you don't hate my brother completely, like you make it look."
Zale shook his head very lightly when Aamori said that he may be here awhile. He really didn't mind letting someone use him as a pillow but now, well, he was having second thoughts. It'd be better if he was actually tired himself and not ready to be up running around and playing. He was getting a good amount of attention too, even from Celestine. It didn't help one bit though, when Kyiri came over and got into Celestine's lap. After seeing her up and about, now more than before he really wanted to be up and playing. His tail started swaying slightly across the ground. He was still trying to keep from moving in any way that might wake Yoichi up so he was really trying to keep himself contained. |
Celestine glanced back over to Aamori when she commented about him not hating her brother. "...I never said that i hate him. Believe me if I did I think everyone would know it." he said simply as he looked back down to Kyiri, "...I might even think about being friends if he would stop treating me like a girl. Do you have any idea how weird it is to have another boy flirting with you? ....Well, girl in your case, I suppose." He shook his head slightly, "It would just be nice if people could take my word for it that I am a boy without wanting proof." He sighed and stroked Kyiri's fur before he glanced back down to Zale again and half smiled. He rubbed the top of his head and then stood up with Kyiri on his shoulder. Without much warning he walked back to his room and slipped inside again quietly, and snagged the other pillow off of the bed before he left again, closing the door most of the way behind him. He walked back out to where Aamori and Yoichi were with the pillow tucked under his arm. Once he got there he just knelt down again and laid the pillow in his lap before he slipped his hand under Yoichi's head and raised it up a little. He highly doubted that was going to wake him if everything that Aamori had been doing hadn't even phased him. "Okay, Zale, make a break for it." he said with a soft laugh. He could tell that Zale was getting impatient with laying there, especially with everyone else up. Even if he didn't have eyes it really wasn't that hard to tell.
Aamori sighed softly. "You may not have said you hated him, but you certainly don't like him very much either." She said quietly. She shook her head a little when he asked if she had any idea what it was like to have someone of the same sex flirting with you. "...Honestly, I can barely even tell what it's like to have someone of the opposite sex flirting with me, let alone someone of the same sex." She paused. "Yoichi's done a good job of keeping everyone at bay up until my trip to the festival in Radha." She uttered. She watched as he got up and started to head back to his room. Once he was gone she looked back down at her brother and shook her head lightly. Yoichi did really need to leave Celestine alone but she wasn't really sure what more could be done to make him stop. Telling him that Celestine was indeed a boy didn't seem to do much and the only other thing that could be done was to stop Yoichi from saying anything if it was going to be about Celestine looking like a girl. She just hoped that he got tired of messing with Celestine soon. She lifted her head when Celestine started to come back and eyed the pillow that he had under his arm. She smiled slightly seeing that he had gone to get the pillow so that he could help Zale out. If Yoichi wasn't practically dead to the world she would've tried getting him out of the courtyard and into a bed but something like that would have to wait. At least until someone else got up who could lift Yoichi up a little easier than she or Celestine could. She shook her head lightly with a slight smile on her face. "You know.. I think I might be a little jealous. It took a lot longer for you to do something nice for me."
Zale continued to lay there just barely able to keep himself still. That grew even harder when Celestine got up and took Kyiri with him. Of course he wanted to follow but couldn't. Though he was glad when Celestine and Kyiri came back, even more so when Celestine told him to make a break for it. He wasted very little time crawling out from under Yoichi and getting to his feet. He stretched as soon as he was free and his shoulders popped slightly. He shook his fur out and then looked back to Celestine. 'Thanks' He told him while his tail wagged behind him. After a moment he moved over to get closer to Kyiri, trying to inch his nose as close to her as he could get. |
Celestine continued to hold Yoichi's head up with his hand until Zale was free, and then he used his other hand to slide the pillow under his head before he lowered his head down onto it. He looked back to Aamori again when she said that she was jealous and shook his head. "...If it wasn't for you I would probably still be hiding on the roof or wherever else I could get about as much as Nero hides in his room." he said simply. "...Besides, Zale wanted up." he said shortly, "Though I guess I could have just dropped his head on the ground..." He glanced over to Zale when he saw him poking his nose at Kyiri. It wasn't hard considering that the little feline was still on his shoulder and he was kneeling on the ground. "Zale, don't play rough with her, she's smaller than you are." he warned him. he glanced back over to Aamori again and huffed, "And what do you mean you could barely say what it's like to have someone flirting with you? Kanone's been doing a fine job of it." he said almost bitterly, "He came all the way out here after you."
Kyiri looked at Zale when he started to reach toward her with his nose and then patted at the tip of his nose with her paw. A moment later she darted off of Celestine's shoulder and hopped onto Zale's head before she scampered on down his back. He was a little harder to stand on than Nobu was since his fur wasn't as thick, but she still managed to settled herself down between his shoulder blades. |
Aamori shook her head a little. "I didn't do anything more than annoy you." She paused. "And I'm sure if I you didn't get to you, Hikari would've sooner or later." She said before glancing over to Zale as he started trying to get at Kyiri. She started to look back over at Celestine when he began talking again, mentioning that Kanone had been doing a fine job of flirting with her and that he'd come all that way after her. She didn't always pick up on it right away when someone was flirting with her so unfortunately she was a little dense in that department. She didn't really believe that Kanone had come all the way out here just to see her. If that was true, she'd be flattered but she knew he'd come out here to see Celestine. "You don't really think that, do you?" She asked. "He came out here for you too." She paused. "And if he comes with us until the end of all of this, he'll be able to make sure you go home to Marius with him instead of that mountain of yours." She knew that Kanone had said that he came out here to see her and keep an eye on Celestine but she was pretty sure that keeping an eye on Celestine probably came first and it was just a bonus that she happened to be where Celestine would be.
Zale stared at Kyiri when she patted at the tip of his nose. He jumped slightly when she hopped onto his head and then went down onto his back. He was still wagging his tail and now he was trying to turn his head enough that he could see Kyiri, though finding that extremely difficult considering where she was. Regardless he kept trying to turn his head so that he could get to her and rather quickly found himself walking in circles and slowly picking up pace until he got dizzy and stumbled a bit before having to lay back down. Kyran was finally starting to wake up after what quite possibly could easily have felt like an eternity of sleeping. He must have needed the sleep, at least that was the only excuse he could come up with. He cracked his eyes open and started to lift his hand to rub them gently before noticing that Hikari was still latched onto his waist. That really wasn't all that surprising considering he usually woke up with her attached to some part of him. He set his hand back down at his side and then sighed softly. |
Celestine sighed heavily and shook his head. "Hikari kind of attached herself to Kyran, I doubt she would have bothered" he said simply. "...Kanone knows I can take care of myself... and I already told him that I was coming back." he said with a sigh. "...If nothing else he's just here to have an excuse not to stay at the house alone." he said dully. "But yes, I do think the majority of the reason he is here is because of you. You're about the only girl that doesn't look at him like an older brother." He said simply as he stood up. He glanced over to Zale and watched him run in circles for a few moment before he sighed heavily and walked over to the fountain to sit down on the edge of it. Aamori was also about the only girl that he spoke to anymore who didn't want to stick him in a dress and put pretty ribbons in his hair. Apparently move of the girls whee he was from thought just because he looked girly it would be fun to dress him up like one, too. Those two girls from the village that recognized him on the way to Marius' house were a prime example of how things usually went with him around girls there.
Kyiri sat still on Zale's back, though when he started to go in circles she crouched down so that she didn't fall, though even that didn't seem enough to save her. When he started getting faster she latched on with her claws and closed her eyes, mewing in protest of his spinning around like that. As soon as he laid down she hopped off of his back and took a couple of steps before she felt herself walking in circles and falling onto her side. Hikari was still asleep beside Kyran, her face nuzzled into his side. She had meant to get up sometime the day before to go check on Nanashi and take a bath but after shed fallen back asleep she was just out of it. It wouldn't take a whole lot to wake her by now, but yesterday was mostly just a day that she needed to recuperate after spending so much energy on healing Nanashi. She didn't seem to notice when Kyran woke up and moved, though if he tried to move her to get her off of him she would more than likely wake up then. |
