Aamori stared at Celestine and then shook her head lightly. "I could be wrong but I don't really think it's a matter of him knowing that you can take care of yourself or not. I think he might just want someone to need him to be around. I mean... with only you and Marius left in his life who do you think is more likely to need him for something?" At least that was the impression she was getting and saying that he was here to look after Celestine made a good cover up. But like she said, she could be completely wrong. She sighed softly. "And telling someone something, doesn't necessarily mean that you'll follow through." She spoke from experience after all. "I'm sure that there are other girls who won't think of him as an older brother... I mean... I think it helps when you look for girls outside of your own village." She watched as he got up and moved over to the fountain to sit down. She stared at him for a moment before glancing back down to her brother and sighing softly. She continued to sit there a little longer before she stood up and adjusted her dress. "...Do you really want to force Kanone back home?" She asked finally. She couldn't really force him to go back home but she could make him leave Kairava at least. She didn't want to do that but she'd been pretty sure that Celestine didn't really want him here.

Zale whined quietly after Kyiri had hopped off of his back. He hadn't really realized that she'd latched onto him with her claws until after she was off of him and he was trying to stop everything from spinning. He already knew he didn't like the feeling of her tiny claws in him and he was going to try and remember not to do anything to result in her clawing him again. He kept laying there for a few moments, once he could get to his feet again he did and he moved straight over to Kyiri and nudged her with his nose.

Kyran continued to lay there quietly for a while before he thought he might try and get up. He didn't want to wake Hikari up but since he was still lacking a shirt he wanted to try and put it back on before she had a chance to look at the scars he had again. Every time she saw those she made some comment about wanting to fix them and he was out of good reasons to give her as to why she couldn't. The only thing he had was 'I don't want you to' and that could only go so much longer. He sighed softly and lifted his hand again to gently take hold of her arm and move it off of him. Once he was able to get up he started to sit up and put his feet on the ground. He yawned quietly and lifted his hand to run it through his hair for a moment before glancing back to look at her to see he'd woken her up or not.

Celestine just rolled his eyes slightly at Aamori and shook his head. "But I don't need him." he said bluntly, "Sure Marius could find more of a use for him than I could... He's sitting at home alone now, there isn't another person in that village that's even related to him." he pointed out. He sighed after hearing the 'look outside your own village' comment. "Yeah, well...I tried that. It didn't seem to work too well..." he said simply, "...And I think Kanone's looking way outside of his own village." he said simply. He glanced away and sighed softly. Go figure that Kanone would decide to look in the same place that he did. He glanced back to Aamori when she asked him if he really wanted her to force Kanone back home and then stared at her, almost in disbelief. Did she honestly just ask him that? He continued to stare at her for a few moments and then slowly glanced away without a sound. Obviously Aamori liked being around Kanone or else she wouldn't have invited him over in the first place. He didn't really like the way that Kanone treated her, but it wasn't like it was a bad thing, really. After all he had no claim laid on Aamori and Aamori had never really expressed as much interest in him as she had in Kanone. All he ever got from her was a peck on the forehead and her sitting by his bedside fro days straight because she felt guilty for him getting hurt n the first place. Fortunately for Kanone, Celestine never had been one to compete with him. If there was ever a girl in the village that Celestine had liked, he always avoided her if Kanone showed any interest. Apparently he and Kanone had similar taste in girls, though with Aamori's duel personality it was hard to tell what he liked about her. Celestine liked her the most when she at least tried to be serious, though he didn't always mind her playful side so long as he wasn't feeling under the weather or in a bad mood. He still couldn't bring himself to tell Aamori that he liked her, and he wasn't entirely sure that Kanone hadn't already said it to her himself, so what right did he have to try to keep Kanone away from her? He just sighed and glanced back to Aamori again. "...Does it really matter what I want?" he asked quietly. "...You should already know what I wanted. Just do whatever you want. If you want to put up with him then let him come." he said simply, "If not, send him home."

Kyiri mewed again when Zale poked her with his nose and rolled over onto her side before grabbing onto his muzzle with her paws, careful to keep her claws retracted. She raised her head and licked the tip of Zale's nose a few times and then rolled the rest of the way over and hopped up onto her feet and darted away from him before looking back to see if he was coming and then darting off to the side again.

Hikari groaned softly when Kyran moved her arm and cracked her eyes open slightly when he laid her arm back down again. She yawned and then stretched out on the bed again before she looked up to Kyran with her eyes half open. She blinked and then rolled over and looked at the window before she sighed. "oh my, what time is it?" she muttered quietly ass he pushed herself up and yawned again. She glanced over to Kyran again and smiled slightly before she glanced down to check her arm. The gashes were almost gone, though they were still there. Between her own healing ability and the stitches that Vara had put there the gashes were healing up quite nicely. She sighed softly before she fell over with her head resting against Kyran's shoulder.

Aamori glanced over at Celestine and sighed heavily. "Marius is also an Elder, so regardless of their not being anyone else related to him he's still got people there who can be there for him if he needs something." She paused. "And clearly Kanone had nothing better to do than sit around his or Marius' house all day. Things probably got really boring for him without his Mother there." She sighed softly. "I bet she'd be happy knowing that he came all this way to look after you and he did it of his own free will... that says a lot, you know." She uttered quietly. She at least thought it was nice of Kanone to come out like had and she could understand that he needed something to do to preoccupy himself. Honestly, you could only be entertained for so long while spending time with Marius, at least at her age anyway. She didn't really have much else to say on the matter of looking for girls outside of their village. She was actually a little surprised though, hearing that he had tried that already. He really didn't seem like a people person unless you really pushed so hearing that he'd tried already, really, it was surprising. She continued to stand where she was, though she lifted her arms to cross them loosely. She sighed and glanced back over at him for a moment before averting her eyes. "...I asked if you wanted him sent home." If he really did want to send Kanone home, she wanted to hear him say it again now that Kanone had been here for the night. "...If you really, seriously, want him to go home ...then I'll do it for you, I'll have him sent home..." She said quietly. She didn't want to send him home but if it'd make Celestine happy then she'd, reluctantly, do it. She did hope that maybe Celestine wanting him gone might have been just the initial reaction to Kanone showing up. She sighed again and rubbed her arm lightly. If she wound up having to tell Kanone he had to leave, she was so making sure that Celestine was the one taking that boat ride back to the main pier with him and seeing him off.

Zale rubbed his furry part of his paw past his nose after Kyiri had finished licking it and then shook his head. He turned his head to look at Kyiri when she darted off. He stared at her for a moment until she looked back at him. Once she did that he started to run after her. He was a little better on his feet when he ran, compared to Nobu but he had a terrible time stopping or turning directions quickly. So with that, he was bound to run into a few things while chasing after Kyiri, but he really didn't mind so long as he eventually caught her.

Kyran sighed softly when he saw that he'd woken her up. He really wanted to make it to get his shirt before she woke up, oh well. He watched her quietly until she'd sat up and eventually fell over resting her head against his shoulder. "Good morning." He paused. "...I'm sorry for waking you up." He said softly. "So... how are you feeling?" He asked quietly as he looked down at her. He was a bit curious about how her arm was coming along and how she was doing energy wise since she'd pretty much used everything she had the other night and then had to take care of Celestine's hands too.

Celestine just sighed again and shook his head when Aamori continued to go on about Kanone not having his mother around. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath before letting it out slowly, though he still didn't look too calm when he raised his eyes to stare up at her. "Would you stop reminding me!?" he said slowly, "She was my aunt, too you know... Do you really have to keep bringing her up like you spoke to her every day?" Sonia might not have been his mother, but he still loved her, even if she did drive him insane on occasion. He might have been doing better than he had been before but it was still a sore subject right now. After all, it hadn't been all that long ago so he still wasn't all that willing to talk about her too much; it still made him want to cry. He sighed and stood up again, "I don't care, alright? I don't care. He can do whatever he wants, I don't care." he said in a tone that said that the subject was probably better left dropped.

Kyiri's tails flailed behind her as she ran from Zale, apparently amused by his inability to turn ad sharply as she could. She would run one way and then dart off to the side and change directions, once even stopping dead and turning about to rub back between Zale's paws. Finally when she started to get tired to running she made a turn and dashed over to Celestine again, diving up to grab onto his shirt before scampering up onto his shoulder as she usually did.

Hikari raised her head off of Kyran's shoulder and smiled slightly. "I'm alright... Still a little tired, but that's probably from sleeping too much... How long have you been up?" She stretched again slightly and then slipped her legs off of the side of the bed so that she was sitting beside Kyran. As he's feared her eyes wandered to the scars but she just sighed and glanced away, trying not to say anything about them this time, though if he'd caught the look it was probably clear that she wanted to. "....Do you know how Nanashi id doing yet?" she asked rather than start on him again.

Yotsy 11-24-2008 12:33 PM

Aamori's ears laid back when he said 'would you stop reminding me'. She sighed heavily. She hadn't meant for anything she said to make him upset but making Celestine upset really wasn't all that hard to do. She didn't care too much for the tone that he used while answering her question. She'd expected a little something different considering she was willing to send Kanone away if it would make him happy. She couldn't even really explain why she was willing to do something like that for him, he didn't think of her as anything more than annoying sister. Honestly, the smarter thing to do would be to keep the guy who actually showed obvious interest in her around not send him away for the likes of Celestine. She stood there for a moment longer, completely ignoring what Kyiri and Zale were up to. She glanced back to Celestine, not bothering to make eye contact. "...Why is it every time we talk any more we either end up fighting or upset?" She asked in much more depressed tone than before. She didn't bother waiting for answer, instead she started walking towards the large doors. At least now she could get out of here without having Hisako or Yoichi with her. Thankfully both of them were passed out currently and right now she just wanted to get away and do something to take her mind off of that. Once she reached the doors she yanked one of the open and then shut it not so quietly behind her. She stood there a moment on the other side and sighed heavily before moving off to the side of the door and leaning her back against the stone wall. She wasn't entirely too sure where would be a good place to go and right now she just wanted a breather.

Zale chased after Kyiri or tried to rather. Quite a few times finding himself skidding across the ground as he went to turn or worse, sliding right into something. Once when she ran under him he wound up trying to follow her with his head and easily ended up upside down on his back. When she started towards Celestine he picked up pace ever so slightly thinking he might be able to snag her before she got to him but he failed miserably and if Celestine wasn't paying attention, Zale would've knocked his feet right out from under him as he went skidding across the ground trying desperately to stop himself

Kyran watched as she lifted her head up from his shoulder and smiled warmly. He was glad that she was alright and tired really wasn't that bad comparatively speaking. "I just got up a few minutes ago, just before I woke you up." He answered. He did manage to catch her looking at the scar and he glanced away briefly before he started to stand up. He moved over to the couch and knelt down to pick up the rolled towel with his shirt in it. He retrieved his shirt and shook it out a little before slipping it on. He looked back to Hikari and shook his head a little. "...No idea. I haven't been out of here since the showers the other night." He said with a sigh. "We've got plenty of time today though. I'm sure you'll get the chance to go check on him yourself." He added lastly while tugging on the bottom of his shirt a little before starting to tuck it in.

Cyndel 11-24-2008 02:18 PM

Celestine just looked at Aamori and sighed heavily. "...Because I don't feel like talking about her...and that seems to be all you can mention..." he said flatly, though he doubted she was listening for an answer seeing as she was leaving. He wasn't really paying attention to the animals either; he just watched Aamori go tot he door. His gaze barely shifted when Kyiri darted up onto his shoulder, he was so used to that it didn't really faze him anymore. His eyes remained on Aamori until the door slammed and he cringed slightly at the sound just as he felt something slam into his legs, just above his knees. He gasped as he fell backwards and then yelped when he realized where he was going. He threw his arms out to the sides and flailed as he felt Kyiri dive off of his shoulder just before he was drenched by sheet of water falling over his head. A split second later he felt a jolt of pain as the back of his head smacked against the stone pillar at the base of the fountain. His body landed almost entirely in the water with only one foot hanging up over the edge of the fountain while the other landed in the water as well. His head and shoulder slid down the pillar until it came to a stop with his chin nearly burrowed into his chest and his nose just a half of an inch above the water level. As expected after his head connected with the stone he didn't move. He was just lucky that he stopped sliding before his nose wound up under the water as well. Well...that was a lovely ending to a petty argument. Perhaps Zale would have been better left as Yoichi's pillow.

Kyiri's eyes nearly bulged when she saw that Zale wasn't stopping and she nearly shrieked when he knocked Celestine over backwards. As soon as she felt him going over she dove from his shoulder and landed on the edge of the fountain before looking back at him. She started mewing loudly when he didn't immediately get up and start to get out and then ran over to his foot and started to lick it as if that was going to make him move. When that didn't work she finally bit down on his pinky toe, though that didn't seem to really do anything either other than make him bleed.

Hikari sighed softly and followed Kyran with her eyes while he went to go up on his shirt. "I see..." she said softly. She yawned slightly and then glanced toward the window again before stretching and getting to her feet. She raised her hand to comb through her curling mane of hair before she remembered that she hadn't bothered to brush it out before she rolled over and went back to sleep. She sighed and walked over to her bag again before she knelt down to get her comb back out and then walked right back over to the bed and plopped down while she began to try to comb out the base of her hair and started to work her way back up. "I suppose I have plenty of time for a bath before that...it still looks early... He's probably sleeping."

Yotsy 11-24-2008 09:42 PM

Zale finally came to a stop once he'd hit and knocked Celestine into the fountain. He sat up a little and shook his head before he stood up and looked for Kyiri. He stared at Kyiri while she mewed and watched while she bit Celestine's toe. He didn't really understand what was going on or why Kyiri seemed so upset. To him it just looked like Celestine was laying in the water of the fountain and for all he knew he liked that. At least most of the other dragons he'd been around really seemed to like the water. He moved over to the fountain while wagging his tail and put his paws up on the edge while he looked down at him. He inched a little closer and started pressing his paw against Celestine since he didn't appear to be moving. '...Celestine?'

Aamori lingered outside the doors for a few minutes. She was already a little uncomfortable just standing there. Even though it was as early as it was there were still some people outside and apparently her just standing there was enough to draw attention to herself. She sighed heavily and shut her eyes, already a little annoyed. After the arguement he should've been the one to leave, not her. Especially since this building, for all intents and purposes was her house. She sighed heavily and finally went back to the doors. She'd much rather be in her room than wandering around here, at least for right now anyway. She pulled the door open and started inside, making sure to close the door a little quieter than before. She was going to just walk straight across the courtyard to her room without so much as a glance to Celestine but once she got to the courtyard it was kind of hard not to look since his foot was hanging over the fountain. She quirked a brow and watched as Zale pushed against him again. When there was no response her breath caught in her throat. She hurried the rest of the way over and peeked into the fountain. "...Oh no..." She muttered while she leaned over and grabbed a hold of his shoulders to pull him up from the water. "...Celestine?" She paused. "...Hey ...are you alright?" She asked sounding a bit worried. She had a pretty good idea just by looking at him that he probably hit his head again. If he had, at least he was somewhere safer when it happened. Granted, there was nothing safe about standing water when you couldn't breathe it. Once she had him lifted out of the water she shook him a little. "...Celestine?" So much for being upset at him, that went right out the window as soon as she saw that he was hurt.

Kyran glanced back to Hikari after she retrieved her comb and started on her hair. "I'm pretty sure you'll have time for that bath and something to eat." He told her while he picked up his vest. "...I do hope that he's feeling better." He said quietly while fighting into his vest. Everything that happened the other night was just plain weird and after the couple short times he'd talked with Nanashi he really hoped that the guy was back to normal and feeling better. Now that he was thinking about it a little he smiled slightly and looked back over at Hikari while he buttoned up his vest. "...I think Nanashi managed to save himself a few more days free of training with what happened."

Cyndel 11-25-2008 12:46 AM

As usual Celestine was pretty dead to the world after the little bump to the noggin. Kyiri did manage to get a little cringe out of him when she bit him, though considering where he was laying that was probably pretty hard to see. He still didn't seem too aware when Zale pushed against him or spoke, or even when Aamori came back to him. The sheet of cold water falling over his face as Aamori lifted him out of the water again caused him to become a little more alert and since he hadn't had the presence of mind to hold his breath he coughed quietly after sucking a bit of water through his nose. His head fell forward and then rolled back when Aamori shook him. He groaned quietly, but still didn't open his eyes. Thankfully he hadn't hit his head that hard this time so he was already starting to come around, though the water had definitely helped with that. He was already shivering now that he was drenched again considering that it was early in the morning. He may have been used to cool weather but he wasn't all that used to cold weather while being soaked to the bone. After a few minutes he finally started to open his eyes and blinked, mainly because he felt something rubbing along his face roughly.

Kyiri continued to meow loudly until Aamori came over to the fountain and got Celestine out of the water. She looked at Celestine and then scampered up onto his chest and crouched there, starting to lick his face vigorously since he still wasn't being very responsive. She stopped for a moment when his eyes opened and then started to rub his face with her head lightly.

Hikari nodded slightly when he said that he hoped that he was feeling better. "Yes, I do too. He scared me half to death..." she shook her head slightly and glanced back to her hair as she continued working with it. She glanced back to Kyran and then laughed softly, "Yes, I believe he has manged to save himself for a little while. At this rate the trip may be over before he ever learns to use that weapon of his." She smiled again, "But then again, he seems to catch on quickly... I think he's a lot more capable than he looks. He may surprise us."

Yotsy 11-25-2008 02:55 AM

Aamori sighed softly when she finally saw him start to open his eyes and blink. That may not have said a lot but at least he seemed to be coming around a little. She shifted her glance slightly and looked at Kyiri while she sat there rubbing her head to his face. "...Okay Kyiri." She said quietly as she removed one hand from Celestine's shoulders and reached for her gently to pick her up. "I don't mind where you sit but I don't think it should be on him right now." She paused and smiled weakly. "You were helpful though, and that's appreciated." She added since it looked like Celestine was only really coming back around thanks to Kyiri licking him. She set Kyiri down finally beside her and then gently set her hand to the side of his face. "...Are you alright, Celestine?" She asked again since she thought there might actually be a response out of him soon.

Zale pulled himself away from Celestine when Aamori had come in and was now a good foot or so from the fountain. He really had no idea that anything was wrong, though it hit pretty hard when Aamori came back inside and started pulling him from the water along with asking him if he was alright. If he'd thought about it a little better he probably could've pulled Celestine out of the water a lot sooner than waiting for someone else to stumble upon him. He felt a little bad now, especially since it was his fault in the first place that Celestine had fallen into the fountain. Though... if Kyiri hadn't gone straight from play mode into scamper onto Celestine's shoulder mode then he probably wouldn't have taken the guys feet out from under him.

Kyran nodded his head lightly while he moved to sit down on the couch now that he'd got everything on but his boots. "I don't doubt that he's capable." He uttered. "...Though it would be kind of nice if he could take advantage of places like this to train in. Especially since there are trained medical specialists here that aren't named 'Hikari', just in case someone gets hurt." He sighed softly and shook his head. "There is time for that later though. Right now it's kind of heartless for me to be thinking about his training when he needs to be better first." He muttered quietly, more or less thinking that last part out loud.

Cyndel 11-25-2008 03:44 AM

Kyiri mewed in protest when Aamori moved her and then looked up at her though she didn't try to get back on Celestine. She moved closer to Celestine's side and nuzzled against him lightly. She looked over toward Zale and then ducked her head so he hopefully wouldn't see her, though her ears were pretty hard to hide. She was kind of mad at Zale for knocking Celestine into the water. As far as she was concerned he shoulder have been able to stop; he'd had plenty of time to see where she was running to.

Celestine closed his eyes again and then flinched slightly and tried to move his head away from her hand when she touched his face. "...That's cold..." he muttered quietly. He was cold enough without her putting her hands on his skin. He shivered again before he opened his eyes and looked up at her. A moment later he tried to push himself up and cringed, placing one hand to the back of his head firmly. He groaned again and then leaned his head forward and curled in on himself, resting his head on his knees while keeping his hand on the place where he had bumped it. He wrapped his other arms around his legs and then shivered yet again. He didn't bother to raise his head again and didn't really plan to until his headache went away. "....What...happened? Why am I...wet?"

Hikari looked at Kyran again and when he sat down and then sighed softly. She shook her head and then stood up and went to put her comb back in her bag before she sat down beside him on the couch. "...It's not heartless, Kyran. It's something that he is going to need to learn to do. Right now, yes, he needs to rest and recover but eventually he does need to get on that. It's not heartless just to think about it. Thinking about something and doing it are two different things, you know." She leaned her head over against his arm lightly and sighed, "...Don't worry about it. Here or not, we'll get it done. There are medical specialists in Glenys as well...not to mention I could turn Ishta loose on him..." she said though that was followed up by a quiet laugh, "Eh...better not. The poor boy may be scarred for life." She shook her head, "...At any rate, I can take care of it if there is no one else around, so there's nothing to worry about there, either." She then grinned and nudged him, "And how do you know that none of the medical specialists are named 'Hikari'?"

Yotsy 11-25-2008 04:31 AM

Aamori pulled her hand back as soon as he said that it was cold. Sometimes she had a tenancy to forget that her skin was usually cold. She sighed softly and set her hand down against her leg while she watched him try to push himself up. She shook her head a little after he curled in on himself and wound up shivering again. "...I'm not exactly sure." She paused. "But you fell into the fountain and I assume, hit your head." She said quietly while she looked him over briefly. He did manage to get soaked considerably just from the fountain and with the chill like it was already it was going to take a long while for any part of him to dry which in turn would make it hard to keep him warm. She sat there for a moment longer before sticking her hands outs near him with her palms facing him. For a brief moment they shone blue and then she started to use her magic to dry his clothes like that one time she'd dried him from the rain. At least this way she could be sure that he'd be dry faster. She continued to hold her hands near him for a few moments longer and he'd more than likely feel his clothes drying while he was sitting there, that is if he was really paying attention. She took a breath and pulled her hands back for a moment and set her hands off to the side as the water that she'd taken out of his clothes fell from her hands onto the ground. She still needed to regain her energy, it hadn't come back fully just yet but she didn't think this was going to effect her that much. She got to her knees and set her hands out again just like before though this time she had her hands inches from his head in an attempt to try and dry his hair out for him too.

Zale for once wasn't in the mood to be playing with Kyiri so he was pretty much ignoring her at this point. He shifted a little and then started to move a bit further away from them. In fact he got up and went to lay on the ground near Yoichi. He felt bad and he just wanted to make himself a little scarce at least for the time being. If he could manage it, he'd actually leave the building all together but being a canine like he was it was pretty much impossible to open those front doors.

Kyran sighed softly after listening to Hikari once she'd sat down beside him. He couldn't help feeling a little bad for even bringing up the idea when he didn't even know if Nanashi was able to get up and walk around yet. He shook his head and then glanced over at her for a moment when she mentioned turning Ishta loose on him. Well that certainly didn't sound like a good idea. He'd only met Ishta that once but she really seemed a little ball of fire and he somehow really doubted that Nanashi could handle a woman like her trying to teach him anything. Maybe he could handle it if someone else was there with him to save his ass if Ishta didn't play nice. "There might not be anything to worry about with you around... but we shouldn't have to rely on you for healing us all of the time. There's only one of you after all." He said quietly. When she nudged him, he looked back at her again and smiled slightly. "Should I have reworded that to be 'medical specialists named Princess Selenity'?"

Cyndel 11-25-2008 05:12 AM

Celestine sighed softly when she told him that she didn't know what had happened other than he'd fallen in the fountain. Well...he probably could have figured that out on his own considering that the fountain was the only source of water close by. He wasn't really paying too much attention to Aamori at the moment, he was just trying to burrow his head down into his knees. He did finally start to notice when his clothes were no longer clinging to him the way that they had been, though he mostly noticed only after he heard the water splashing to the ground behind him. Whens he moved closer he slowly raised his head just a little and turned it to the side so that he could look up to her face for a moment, though seconds later he closed his eyes again and rested his head back on his knees. He did pull his hand away from his head so that he wasn't covering up his hair since he had a decent idea what she was doing. "...Why are you up this early anyway?" he asked quietly. Quite honestly he couldn't remember much from this morning. He remembered waking up and going up onto the roof...but he didn't remember coming back down again, though obviously he had.

Hikari looked back over to Kyran again and gave him a bit of a look at his last statement before she moved. She practically rolled into his lap, sitting with her knees on his legs while her hands rested on his shoulders and she leaned her head forehead so that her forehead was touching Kyran's and he could probably feel that jewel pressing against his head. Her dimly glowing eyes stared into his, though her face was so close his eyes were practically blurring in her vision, "Hiiiikari." she said slowly, "Princesses aren't trained int he medical field." She smiled slightly and then kissed his nose before she slid off to sit beside him again. "...Don't worry about it. One of me is plenty, I don't think you could handle another one." she said with a soft laugh, "Besides... I'm sure if it was bad enough Celestine could help out a little...and Aamori knows standard first aid, I'm sure Nero probably knows how to do something or other... The stuff your uncle gave me helps me out a lot, too. So really I think we can all take care of each other just fine."

Aamori was barely paying attention to Celestine when he turned his head to look at her. She had needed to focus on what she was doing if she was going to dry out his hair and the last thing she needed to do was break her concentration and dump the water back on him. She hurried a long with his hair drying it for the most part a little faster than his clothes. Once she had finished she again moved her hands off to the side and released the water. She sighed softly and glanced back to him, having heard his question and now being able to answer it. She rested her hands in her lap after drying them off a little on the end of her dress. "Well... I figured that Hisako would want to start my morning training again and I just kind of woke up a little later than usual wondering why she hadn't gotten me up." She answered quietly. Since she hadn't answered that question before, to her knowledge, she hadn't become aware what all he couldn't remember. "Judging by my brother being passed out over there..." She pointed towards him briefly. "I'd assume he and Hisako were up late. Well... at least that's what I'm guessing." She shifted her eyes back to Celestine and eyed the only part of him that was really still soaked. His wings of course were going to take awhile to dry on their own and with the chill today and the fact that it was a little overcast already it was probably going to take even longer than normal. She sighed softly and glanced down at her hands briefly. Rather than ask if he wanted her to dry them she lifted her hands again and put her palms towards his right wing and began the process all over again. Unfortunately she had to do one wing at a time just because of the area that had to be dried. Now if he had a two or three year old's size wings she might have been able to do both at the same time. She also knew she wouldn't be able to dry them completely, she just didn't think she had the energy to do that right now and getting all of the water from them was going to take a little longer than it did to dry his clothes or his hair.

Kyran sat there without really moving while Hikari got into his lap. That certainly was a strange way to sit on someones lap but he wasn't going to complain. When he felt that gem of hers against his forehead he shut one eye for a moment thought for a brief moment what that must have felt like when it was hit just the right way. He opened his eye again and smiled softly, trying not to laugh since he could barely make out both of her eyes. Being that close really did make it look like she only had one eye in the middle of her face. Once she had kissed his nose and moved to sit beside him again he glanced over at her and smiled a bit. "Princesses aren't trained to do a lot of things that a certain someone knows how to do." He commented quietly. After all, what Princess was trained to sneak into an off-limits library with an Elder in training. He smiled again as he turned slightly so that he could lean over and lightly brush his cheek against her opposite cheek, so that he could whisper in her ear. "...Regardless of your name, I still love you all the same." He said and then pressed his lips to her cheek before pulling away and sitting back again.

Celestine waited silently, barely taking notice of how long it took Aamori to answer his question. Once she did he just nodded his head weakly and then sighed softly before he shut his eyes again. "...I don't...remember you coming out..." he said simply, though he guessed she may have just now decided to roll out of bed. He hadn't seen where she was coming from anyway. He cracked his eyes open again and glanced back to her when she started to get near his wings. He sighed softly and unfolded the one that she was closest to just a little in hopes that she'd be able to get more water out of it. He really wasn't fond of having his wings wet, that probably annoyed him more than anything else. His wings weren't very water proof at all, most of his feathers lacked that waxy coating like most birds had and once his down feathers got wet they tended to stay that way for a while.

Hikari just grinned at Kyran when he said that a lot of princesses weren't trained to do what she knew how to do. Well of course they weren't. If her people knew that she knew ho to do half of the things that she did they would probably freak. She chuckled softly and then smiled warmly when he kissed her cheek and told her that he loved her the same. "...I'm glad." She said quietly. Her smile faded after a moment and she sighed heavily through her nose but then just leaned her head against him and nuzzled against his arm gently. She still seemed a little worried about the outcome of that but she tried not to let it show. "I love you, too, Kyran." she said quietly. She smiled again and slipped away from his arm, laying across his laps with her arms behind her head. She hung her legs over the side of the couch and looked up at him contently. "Well I guess you're all just lucky that some princesses know hot to train themselves. I'm a master of the art." she said with a soft chuckle and a wink. "I don't think there's much I can't get around." Unfortunately...her choice in a mate was probably one of the little things that she wasn't going to get her full say in. She was allowed to refuse those who came to present themselves to her, but by her age most in the royal family were already married off, and it was all too clear that everyone, her father especially, was getting impatient with her. If she came in and announced that she was in love with someone from another clan they would all hit the ceiling.

Aamori listened to him when he spoke but continued to keep quiet while she worked on trying to dry his wings out one at a time. She continued to hold her hands out to his wing, only moving them a little here and there to make it a little easier on her. After a moment she pulled her hands back and set them off to the side to release the water and then immediately set them right back where they were to continue working. A few more minutes passed and she finished up as much as she could with the right wing. She pulled her hands away again and let the water go before shifting a bit over to the other wing. "I came out earlier, not too long after Hisako should've woken me up." She paused. "You came down from the roof while I was pestering my brother... don't you remember?" She asked a little curiously while she looked over the other wing. Compared to the one she had just finished working on it certainly was wet. The other was still a little wet, but no where near what it was. She guessed if she could get the left wing that dry it might only take a couple hours give or take for them to dry completely. She sat there briefly before lifting her hands to start the process all over again.

Kyran smiled warmly after she had nuzzled against his arm and said that she loved him too. He could tell before when her smile faded that something was bothering her but he wasn't really sure that he wanted to inquire about it at a time like this. He was a little surprised when she wound up laying across his lap. After a moment of looking down at her he smiled and set his hand lightly on her stomach and then put the other at the top of her head, gently running his hand back over her hair. He was still smiling as he looked down at her. "...I think I'm just lucky." He commented quietly with a soft laugh. "But yes, we're extremely lucky that a certain princess has trained herself." He paused. "Without you, I think we'd be a lot worse off if not fewer in numbers." He uttered while continuing to run his hand lightly over her hair.

Cyndel 11-26-2008 04:28 AM

Celestine again was still and silent until she spoke again. He was relieved to feel the weight being lifted from his back as the water was removed. He just closed his eyes again while she worked and then glanced at her again when she said that he'd come down from the roof. "...No...I...I just remember coming out this morning and going up to the roof... I didn't...remember coming down so...I didn't know how I got in the fountain..." He was silent again for a few moments, again opening his wing a little when Amaori switched to the other one. He then realized something and raised his head enough to glance down at himself. "...Where....did I put my vest?" he muttered, mostly to himself. He hadn't bothered to look at Yoichi when Aamori pointed, he just took her word for it, and he'd just noticed that he wasn't even wearing his vest.

Hikari smiled warmly when Kyran said that he was just lucky. Sh chuckled softly and shook her head, "Don't flatter me too much, Kyran, I may have trouble getting my head through the door." she said playfully, "I'm sure you all would have been fine..." Well she would like to think that at least. Kyran probably would have had a lot more trouble getting Celestine to safer ground had she not been able to close his wounds since he had been bleeding heavily and almost certainly had internal damage after the hydra had bitten into him and shaken him like that. Still if he'd gotten him back one of the healers in the village could have done what she had. She sighed softly and closed her eyes while Kyran stroked her hair and then smiled slightly, "...You aren't the lucky one." she said quietly as she leaned her head against his stomach and nuzzled against him. "I'm glad to have met you...and even more glad that you feel the same way about me as I do about you. It really makes me happy. No matter what, I will always love you." she told him quietly as she opened her eyes again to loop up to him. Her eyes were filled with adoration, but there was still a little something sad there as well. She was afraid that loving him was all she may ever be able to do. They surely couldn't be together...at least not now with the way things are.

Yotsy 11-26-2008 06:16 AM

Aamori continued to work without a word until she had finished with his left wing. Once she was done she released the water from her hands and sat back a little with a sigh. That certainly could be a little tiring when removing large quantities of water. She put her arms behind her and leaned back on them a little before looking at him and then at her brother. After listening to him she was gathering that his bump to the head must have made him forget everything that happened from when he came down from the roof. She tilted her head slightly. Did that mean he didn't remember the arguement that they had just before she went outside? Well... maybe it was better that he didn't remember, it was a petty arguement anyway. She sighed softly and then pointed towards her brother again, though doubted he'd see her pointing unless he had looked at her. "You took your vest off and draped it over Yoichi earlier, a little after you came down from the roof." She paused. "You also went and got a pillow to put under his head so that Zale could get out from under my brother." She said quietly. "After that you and I exchanged a few words while Kyiri and Zale were playing. I stepped outside for a few minutes and when I came back... well... you were in the fountain and Kyiri sounded like she was going to have a heart attack."

Kyran laughed softly when she said that she may have trouble getting her head through the door if he flattered her too much. He continued to sit there and stroke her hair lightly before smiling a bit when she started talking about how he wasn't the lucky one. "Eventually we'd have met thanks to this mission, but if we hadn't I think we might have LaRae, Nanashi and Nero to thank for our meeting each other when we did." That may not have sounded all that nice but had LaRae and Nero not gotten into the fight they did at the festival and there was no mission to go on, he and Hikari may never have met. He kept staring down at her, noticing that little hint of sad in her eyes. For either of them it probably wasn't that hard to catch something like that in the others eyes, or maybe he just had a talent for picking up on that. He sighed softly and shut his eyes for a moment. At any rate, if her mind was where his tended to go once in awhile he was pretty sure what causing that look in her eyes. He was at least trying not to think too much about later and focus on the here and now. He sighed softly and opened his eyes again to look at her. "Can you at least try and enjoy the time we can spend together without worrying about the future?" He paused. "Or am I way off on where your head is right now?" He asked quietly.

Cyndel 11-26-2008 06:47 AM

Celestine turned his head to the to her side slowly and looked at Aamori, though his finally raised his head enough to look back to where she was pointing. He sighed again and then laid his head back down on his knees again, though he was facing toward Aamori again. He sighed quietly when she said that the animals were playing and she left and he was in the fountain when she came back. Well...Yoichi was asleep, she wasn't there, and he sure as hell didn't jump in on his own. He glanced down to Kyiri again and sighed before he dropped his hand to rest on her back and rubbed it lightly. "...Kyiri...if you're going to play with Zale, don't us me for a tree..." he muttered quietly. He just continued to rub the top of her head while she rubbed her head against his hand and purred. It wasn't too hard for him to piece together what had probably happened. Kyiri liked or run up and climb his shirt so he could imagine the outcome of that with Zale at her heels...especially as rambunctious as he was anyway. At least he didn't seem mad about it. His head still hurt too bad to get upset at anything. Finally he pulled his arm close to him again and shivered again. He was dry...well dryer, but he was still chilly after that little adventure. "...I should probably go back inside..." He muttered quietly, though he still didn't feel like moving yet. "...Thanks for helping..."

Hikari smiled weakly and shook her head when he pointed out who they could thank for their meeting. That really was true enough. She sighed softly when he touched on the things that she hadn't said and then chuckled when he asked if he was way off. "...No...of course not. You're right on as usual." she said with a small smile. She sighed and finally pushed herself up again and then scooted back so that she was sitting in his lap again. "...Well...enough with the princess nonsense. Hikari isn't a princess, she's barely even a lady." she said with a soft chuckle. A lady certainly wouldn't be acting this way with a man who wasn't her husband. She leaned closer to him and pressed her lips against his lightly. "...I'm sorry...It's hard not to think about. My mind likes to wander back home without me sometimes." She wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned her head against his again and then kissed his cheek again and nuzzled against him. She smiled slightly and combed her fingers into his hair a little, though it was a little hard to manage without tugging on it a little. "Hmm...you sure you don't need to use that comb on more than your tail?"

Yotsy 11-26-2008 07:31 AM

Aamori sat there and looked at him while he looked where she had pointed and then when he put his hand down on Kyiri. She hadn't really pieced everything together as quickly as Celestine had, then again she hadn't really had the time to wonder how he got into the fountain to begin with. Once she had come back inside she was far too concerned with getting him out of the water than trying to figure things out. Even with what he said to Kyiri she still didn't pick up on it. At this point it probably wouldn't matter too much anyway. At least he was out of the fountain and a little dryer. She noticed him shiver again and when he didn't get up after saying he should go back inside, she sighed softly and leaned forward then climbed to her feet. She looked back down at him when he thanked her. "...Don't mention it." She uttered quietly and then started to walk to her room. She stepped inside and went to her bed to remove her blanket. She held it in her hands and then headed back out to Celestine. She sighed again softly and opened up the blanket to drape it over him. It was a big blanket and even if it was kind of thin it was still pretty warm. "...That should be warmer." She said as she moved back to sit down again where she had been.

Kyran wasn't surprised to hear that he was right, he too, on occasion thought about that as well. He watched while she shifted and smiled a little seeing that she hadn't just removed herself from his lap completely. He was a bit caught off guard when she kissed him on the lips but he really had nothing to complain about. It was nice when he wasn't the one initiating the kiss. He smiled warmly and listened while she said she was sorry. She didn't need to apologize, but she was right it was kind of hard sometimes not to think about it. He did try to keep those thoughts at bay when he was actually getting to spend some alone time with her. "I understand." He said quietly. "It just means we need to come up with something to keep your mind from wandering when you're spending time with me." He said and then laughed quietly. He made a face when she ran her hand through his hair and wound up tugging on it. He rarely brushed his hair which was why it was probably home to a few knots. It was just a lot easier and less time consuming to get up in the morning and run his hand through his hair quickly or shake his head until his hair looked like he hadn't just been asleep. He smiled slightly, actually a little embarrassed that she'd hit some resistance in his hair. "...It probably wouldn't hurt..." He paused. "..At least once in awhile."

Cyndel 11-26-2008 08:32 PM

Celestine sighed softly and closed his eyes again when he noticed Aamori starting to get up. He figured she was probably going to go back to bed since he'd said that he should go back inside. He just raised his hand to his head again and rubbed his temples lightly, trying to help the pain. He nearly jumped when he felt the blanket draped over his shoulders. He raised his head quickly to see what was touching him and then cringed and put his hand to this head again and sighed before he glanced up to Aamori. "...Thanks..." he said quietly. He hadn't even realized she'd noticed that he was shivering. Heck he barely noticed it himself over the headache. He finally latched on to the edges of the blanket and pulled it a little closer to him before he lowered his head back to his knees slowly and shut his eyes again. "...You know...your blanket is going to get wet...." he said quietly.

Hikari smiled and laughed softly as she nuzzled him again and then stood up and knelt down to her bag again, plucking out her little comb. She giggled as she tossed it to him and then started back to the bed. She carefully slipped her pass out of the only sleeve that was left. She looked back to Kyran and then smiled again and sighed, "Well...I guess I should go get that bath over with." she said lightly as she started to head for the door, "I'll be back soon." She turned the knob and looked back to him, blowing him a kiss before she slipped out the door. She started to head toward the baths and then paused and looked down beside the door. She smiled when she saw her other set of clothes laying there. She picked them up and then started toward the baths without really stopping to look around. It was still very early so she kind of hoped she'd have the place to herself this time. She went to the door and pulled it open and then stepped inside and glanced around briefly before she started toward the screen to get ready.

Yotsy 11-26-2008 11:09 PM

Aamori looked at him when he mentioned that her blanket was going to get wet. She stared at him for a moment and then shook her head. "I'm well aware." She uttered. "I don't mind. There are plenty of blankets strewn throughout this building so it isn't like losing one to keep you a little warmer is going to leave me without." That much was true anyway, there were a lot of blankets kept in the building just because there were so many beds. Most of the time no bed got the same blanket after a washing so in all actuality that blanket wasn't even hers. Little to nothing was really hers. Just about the only thing she'd gotten to keep was her stuffed bear and she had to sneak that and hide it. When she was moved into the building there was already a room done up for her so she didn't get to bring anything from home to have in her new room and everything from home was for all intents and purposes, disposed of because it was no longer necessary. She didn't complain that much about it though. She did get to have nice things in place of her old stuff but unfortunately nothing ever really felt like it was hers. She sighed softly and glanced over at her brother while he still slept. She would probably never admit it out loud but she was envious of him. He still had a place at home that was his and he got to do just about what ever he wanted. Of the two of them she really sometimes wished that her brother had been the one born to be an Elder rather than herself. No. She couldn't even honestly say that. Living the way she had to, it was hard and emotionally painful sometimes. She couldn't wish that upon anyone. Well, if anything there was some sort of explanation for why she had a tenancy to act a lot younger than she was. She had a rather traumatic experience, in her eyes at least, when she was found to be an Elder. She was ripped from her home and tossed into a new life at a relatively young age and all she really wanted was the normal life most people had. She hated being taken away from everything she ever really held near and dear. So she kind of liked to act the age she was when everything changed, it brought some sort of comfort to her. She finally shook her head a little and tried to stop thinking about that sort of thing. Those thoughts really did tend to creep up on her occasionally at the worst times. "...Do you need anything else?" She asked quietly and then sighed softly.

Kyran wasn't really expecting the comb to be tossed at him so he fumbled with it a moment while he tried to catch it. He stared down at it briefly and then looked at her when she said that she should get that bath over with. He had thought to mention that sooner but other topics kind of kept reminding her at bay. He gave a slight nod and then watched as she headed for the door. He smiled warmly after she blew him a kiss and then sighed once the door had shut. His eyes fell back on the comb she'd given him and he stared at it almost tempted to just drop it back into her bag. He kind of had a small dislike for brushing his hair which was quite possibly the main reason why he only ever ran his fingers through it in the mornings. He lifted the comb up and started to brush through a part of his hair only to find the comb getting snagged on a couple knots. He sighed heavily and dropped his hands back down to his lap not at all surprised to see the comb was actually where he left it in his hair. He dropped back on the couch and slouched a little, just sitting there with a half defeated look on his face before he decided he needed to comb out his hair before she got back. He lifted his hand up and pulled the comb out of his hair before he started to try combing it again, though the way she had told him with his tail. That seemed easy enough to straighten out his tail's fur so it should work just as well on his hair. At least in theory, anyway.

Cyndel 11-27-2008 02:16 AM

Celestine sighed quietly at her response to what he said about the blanket and nodded slightly. He was sitting there trying to ignore the pain he felt in his head every time his heart beat. He shook his head weakly when she asked if there was anything else he needed. "...No...not really..." he said quietly, "...My head still hurts so...I'm just...going to stay here for a while..." He closed his eyes again and tried to burrow his head down into his knees again. He sighed again and laid his ears back slightly as he groaned miserably. He didn't so much mind the fact that he was so easily knocked out so much as the fast that his head ached like he'd been kicked in the face by a horse wearing horse shoes for a good half hour or more afterward.

Hikari just placed her clothes down on the floor next to the wall before she went back to snag herself a towel and then took off her current clothes and wrapped up in the towel before she dropped her clothes into the chute and walked over to the bath to get in. She laid the towel at the edge of the bath before she went down the steps and then dunked herself under the water. She stayed under for a few seconds and then resurfaced and flipped her hair back out of her face. She thought about staying to relax but she really would rather be out before anyone else decided to come in. Besides she was hungry and she'd kind of left Kyran in there to fend for himself with her comb. She just moved over to the shelf and got the shampoo that Aamori had used on her the last time and put some in her hand before she started to massage it into her hair. She made quick work of washing her hair and rising it out and then began washing off her body thoroughly. Finally she finished cleaning herself off and moved to get out of the bath, snagging up the towel to wrap herself in before she started back toward the screen again to finish drying herself off and get dressed.

Yotsy 11-27-2008 03:59 AM

Aamori gave a slight nod when he said that his head still hurt and that he was going to stay where he was for awhile. She guessed she couldn't blame him since his head was hurting like it was and all things considered she couldn't very well expect him to be up and moving right now as if nothing had happened. She continued to sit there as quietly as possible. He may have forgotten about the arguement that they had but the last thing she needed was for him to tell her to shut up because she was talking too much when his head hurt. Though, being quiet was a lot harder for her than it looked unless she had a really good reason for not talking. She sighed softly and glanced back over at her brother in time to notice him shift a little. Maybe he wasn't going to be asleep there as long as she originally thought. Well, if he woke up then that meant she'd have to keep him away from Celestine for the time being. She knew there was no way in hell that Celestine could handle Yoichi right now.

Kyran had sat up a little and tried working the comb through his hair for a little while. He managed to get a small portion of his hair untangled before he was already prepared to give up. Combing out his hair really was more work than it was worth, to him at least. When he was finally tired of it all together he leaned back on the couch again and sighed heavily while leaving the comb tucked in his hair. He had at least wanted to have it finished before Hikari came back but he didn't have the patience to sit there and finish. Unfortunately for him his hair was a little straighter and had less volume when it wasn't ridden with tangles. So that small section of his hair that he had managed to finish was noticeably different from the rest. Of course he wasn't exactly aware of that since he rarely took the time to comb his hair.

Cyndel 11-27-2008 04:36 AM

Celestine was at least thankful for the silence. even the sound of the fountain was enough to annoy him a little. It hurt a little just to even talk, so listening to a lot of noise right now was something he wanted absolutely no part of. He was at least glad that Aamori picked up on his reluctance to answer her or was just smart enough to realize that he didn't feel like listening to her talk right now. He didn't notice Yoichi starting to stir at all since he still had his head burrowed down in his knees. He almost wanted to go back on the roof but he would probably be straining a little too hard to try to fly up there right now. He still felt Kyiri nuzzling against his side so he did finally move his hand to stroke her, though other than that he really didn't move too much.

Hikari managed to get her hair mostly dry with another towel before she finished drying herself off and slipped back into her shirts and other shirt. She sighed and put the towels in the chute as well before she finally started back to the door and out into the hallway. She glanced out to the courtyard for a moment when she noticed Celestine curled up near the fountain. She thought about going out to see what was wrong but she got the impression for the fact that Aamori was being silent for once that he didn't want to be bothered. She glanced over a little further and blinked when she saw Yoichi and the cerulean colored canine laying near him. She shook her head and blinked before she returned to the bedroom. Well that was an interesting discovery; she really hadn't expected to see another creature similar to Nobu, especially here. She opened her mouth to mention it when she stepped inside but her eyes caught on the white flower sticking out of Kyran's hair and laughed softly. "Well don't you look lovely." she said playfully as she walked closer to him, "I didn't know you liked to accessorize." After all, that comb was made more for the purpose of being worn in your hair than to comb it, but it still worked. "I think Lunar flowers compliment you, but it may look a little better if you were wearing white." she teased. She finally sat down on the couch beside him and tilted her head. "...Hehe I don't think you're done."

Yotsy 11-27-2008 05:28 AM

Aamori was still trying her best to keep her mouth shut. Thankfully she didn't really have anything to talk about, though it wouldn't take her long to find a topic if she really wanted to be saying something. She continued to glance over at her brother, noticing again that he had shifted a little. This time he had managed to roll over onto his other side which caused the vest that Celestine had draped on him to fall off. It didn't look like he was going to wake up right away at least since he snuggled his head into the pillow tried to get comfortable again. She sighed softly and continued to sit there for a moment longer before she remembered that Zale was still in here. He had a job to attend to since he was the messenger between the port and the islands, so the guards were probably wondering where he had disappeared to. She got to her feet as quietly as she could and started to walk over to him. She knelt down beside him and rubbed the top of his head gently. "C'mon Zale. I'll let you out." She uttered quietly before standing up again and heading for the doors. She paused when she got to them and turned to look back to make sure that Zale had indeed followed her. After she checked she reached out and pushed the door open a little so that he could get out.

Zale lifted his head a bit after Aamori touched him and then tilted his head slightly when she said that she'd let him out. He hadn't really thought about it until she said anything about going outside but he did have a job to do and he'd stayed here long enough for today. As much as he'd rather just play and then lounge around when he was tired he did kind of get himself talked into playing messenger since no one had found his blades yet and he did have an obligation to help the guards out regularly. Once she started to walk to the door he started to get up. He shook his fur a little and followed after her. He paused when he reached the door and looked back towards Celestine. He really was sorry that he didn't stop himself in time and because of that he'd knocked him into the fountain. He lowered his head slightly and then turned back to the door before slipping outside and starting down the path to the docks. If things worked out the way he'd like them to, he was going to try and come back later tonight perhaps when he got the chance.

Kyran lifted his head and glanced towards the door when he heard it opening. He stared at Hikari for a moment when she said that he looked lovely. He shook his head a little while smiling slightly. "I don't usually accessorize, it's too much work." He uttered as he reached up to pull her comb out his hair. After she came over and sat down beside him he held the comb out to her knowing she'd want to do her own hair. "I don't usually wear white, so you can keep your comb. Besides, it looks nicer in your hair." He said with a smile. "And I think I am about as done as I'm going to be with my hair." He told her before giving a soft sigh. "Anyway, how was your bath?" He asked in an attempt to distract her from his hair.
