Hikari sighed softly when he asked if she would be able to carry her. "I carried LaRae," she reminded him, "Aamori's smaller, I don't think it will be that hard to manage." She rolled her eyes a little at Nero when he turned away from them. "I guess I'll take that as a yes..." she said dryly before she glanced over to LaRae again for her answer and then to Kanone. "Mm...Alright then..." she said as she pushed herself up again, and then sighed. "I guess we should start to get moving then."

Kanone shook his head slightly and then half smiled. "Yeah, I can fly fine if we go soon. I'm about ready to call it a night, though." He finally started to push himself away from the wall again, wincing a little in the process, and then moved back down the beach again wince it seemed like they were going to be going soon. He glanced over to Celestine and Aamori again and then smiled weakly before he glanced away. Well, he guessed the kid had to go cling to someone. He would have tried comforting Aamori had he not been so upset with her. He probably would have yelled at her worse than he had at Celestine if he hadn't slapped her in the face first. He was kind of glad Celestine took the opportunity and ran with it.

Esen's ears laid back a little when Nobu looked away and told her to get all of her laughing out now. She shook her head a little as she moved closer to him and licked the side of his face again before she nuzzled him gently, 'I'm sorry...' she whined softly, 'I didn't mean to laugh... I just thought it was kind of cute.'

Unfortunately for Aamori, Celestine's keen ears did pick up on what she'd said. He froze for a moment after she spoke and then slowly raised is head off of hers to look down at her. He didn't make a sound at all as he raised his hand to her cheek and gently pushed her head back away from him so that he could see her face. "...What...did you say?" he asked quietly as if he hadn't heard her correctly. He'd almost forgotten that Aamori could hear his thoughts if he didn't guard them carefully. His cheeks started to turn a light shade of pink and he glanced away again after realizing what she must have been responding to. He sighed softly and just leaned his head down against hers lightly, pressing his forehead to hers as he closed his eyes again and wrapped his arms back around her again firmly. This position put their lips only an inch or so apart, but he had no intention of moving any closer to them. "...Never mind...don't say anything."

Kyran nodded his head weakly after Hikari reminded him that she’d carried LaRae before. Well, he hadn’t exactly asked because he didn’t think she could do it. He was more or less concerned for her because of her injury. Granted, that shouldn’t really interfere with her flying or anything. Now that he thought about it maybe he was a little worried over nothing. He glanced back down to Nanashi for a moment and sighed softly. He was glad that the fog was gone at the very least. He’d be able to fly faster than he had before which would make carrying Nanashi a little less strenuous. Once he was on the other side it’d just be a simple matter of shifting Nanashi so that he was carrying him on his back. He couldn’t see flying with him on his back, at least not successfully so he’d have to be carried in front of him. He lifted his eyes back up to focus on Hikari once she had said that they should get moving. “I think I’m going to hold off getting up until we’re actually leaving.” He stated and then dropped his eyes back down to Nanashi. He didn’t want to go picking Nanashi up right now only to have to stand with him for some unforeseen amount of time before everyone was actually ready to get going.

Nero continued to stand where he was for a few moments. At least until after he had heard Hikari say that they should start to get moving. He was actually looking forward to getting out of here, even if it was dark now. He was tired of being out here and he was more than ready to get himself cleaned up and then locked away in that room he’d been using, at least for awhile. He finally started to move and began to head towards the water. He paused a couple feet from where the water hit the sand and then receded. If anything he had to say that Kairava was kind of nice at night, without the fog that is. The water was calmer and it almost looked black the way the night sky was reflected off of it. Even the three moons added to the pleasant and relatively calming ambiance. Aside from the fact that most everyone was a bit beaten up this could actually have been considered nice in his book. If the fog stayed away for awhile he was almost tempted to try and actually enjoy the view at night once before they left.

LaRae looked over at Nanashi for a moment, glad that Kyran was so willing to carry him. Someone needed to carry him and even though Kyran was hurting he was still offering to do the job. She shook her head a little. Kyran got stuck carrying someone most of the time, well, when someone needed to be carried that is. She shifted her attention slightly when Kanone and Nero moved. She sighed softly and lifted her good hand to her left arm for a moment and rubbed just above the cast. She really hoped that nothing bad happened when she put the crack in the cast. She lowered her hand and then started to move herself. She headed towards the water, in the process taking a moment to stretch out her wings just to make sure they weren’t hurt anywhere. They felt a little stiff but other than that they seemed to be just fine which she was happy about. She wasn’t so sure that she can’t anything being wrong with her wings again. Her wings being broken for as long as they were that once and having to keep them constantly bound to her back was nearly enough to drive her insane. She came to a stop a couple feet from the water and sighed softly. She was ready to go whenever everyone else was.

Nobu shifted slightly after Esen nuzzled him gently. His fur was incredibly embarrassing to him when it got fluffy and puffed out like it did and yet here she was apologizing for laughing and then saying that she thought it was ‘kind of cute’. By no means did he think it was cute. He hated when his fur did this and it would take forever to get it to straighten out again. He couldn’t even be upset at Esen for laughing. For one, he knew how funny he looked and it was only going to get funnier. Then she also apologized the way she had. He lowered his head slightly, already wishing he had a corner or something to go hide in. ’…I hate my fur…’ He muttered quietly.

Aamori was thoroughly embarrassed, especially after noticing that Celestine froze, even for a moment. That was more than enough to tell her that he had to have heard something that she’d said, if not all of it. She automatically shut her eyes when she felt his hand touch her cheek and then push her head back gently. If she hadn’t heard him correctly, the thought she hoped she’d heard than she didn’t really want to look at him. Not with as embarrassed as she felt right now. She couldn’t resist cracking her eyes open one at a time to look at him after hearing his question. Maybe he hadn’t heard what she had said? No, with his ears it wasn’t likely that he missed it. Upon making note of that the red hue from before flooded her cheeks all over again and she averted her eyes. It didn’t take very long for her eyes to find their way back to his face. Once he’d started to press his forehead to hers she was staring at him again, rather staring at him as best as she could given their proximity. Being as close to Celestine as she was along with the extremely short distance between their lips and the fact that she’d practically confessed to him, she couldn’t help one bit how her heart was racing. She finally shut her eyes and for a very brief moment acted as if she was going to close the gap between their lips but didn’t. Since she wasn’t even sure anymore that he’d even thought those words, she couldn’t bring herself to close the gap; especially if she had imagined it. Considering she’d had a near death experience she could kind of believe she’d imagine him thinking something that she wanted to hear. That didn’t sound too ludicrous of a thought now that she’d thought about it.

Hikari nodded slightly to Kyran when he said that he'd hold off on getting up. "Alright." She smiled slightly and moved her hand to rest on top of Kyran's head for a moment before she started to move away from him and make her way down the beach to where Celestine and Aamori were. She hated walking on the sand right now, but she saw no point in complaining about it. She glanced out over the water for a few moments as she walked and then looked away again as she approached Aamori and Celestine. She couldn't see much but the back of Celestine's head, though she knew they were hugging. She smiled and then shook her head a little. She almost hated to interrupt, but she knew they really needed to get moving. "Hey...we need to go," she said gently.

Celestine felt Aamori move and cracked his eyes open a little to look at her, realizing that her eyes were closed. He could feel his own heart pounding in his chest as he closed his eyes again and tilted his head slightly while leaning closer to her. She could probably feel his breath on her lips, which were hovering only a hair's width above hers, or at least until Hikari spoke. He pulled his head back rather quickly as color flooded his cheeks again. He couldn't believe he'd almost kissed her. Given about three more seconds for him to get up the nerve he would have. He loosed his grip as he pulled back from Aamori and then dropped his arms as he pushed himself up awkwardly. "Yeah, sure," he responded quietly.

Hikari glanced at Celestine for a moment and then smiled before she looked back down to Aamori. "I'll carry you this time, alright?" she said softly as she held her hands out to her. "Do you think you can stand up for a minute?" she asked. She wasn't so sure she could kneel down and pick her up and then stand up again, but if Aamori had too much trouble, she guessed she'd have to. She just hoped the strain wouldn't get her leg bleeding again.

Celestine glanced back to Aamori for a moment and then glanced away again quickly. "...I'll see you over there," he said quietly before he turned and started to walk back to where Kanone was coming up to stand beside Nero. He closed his eyes for a moment and then glanced out over the water again. He wasn't too sure how he was getting back. Honestly, what Kanone had suggested never even crossed his mind. It was rare when he actually did it, so he didn't even think of it as an option. Honestly, he kind of figured he'd just wait until morning or whenever he was dried off.

Kanone glanced down to Celestine when he came up to him and half smiled again, "Set it up nice for you, didn't I?" he teased as he messed with Celestine's hair.
Celestine's cheeks flushed again and he glanced over to Kanone before looking away quickly. "What are you talking about?"
"Don't play dumb...I'm better at it than you." He couldn't resit pulling on Celestine's cheek a little. "You're so cute when you're confused." He cringed and then slumped over a little while covering his mouth his opposite fist and coughing lightly.
Celestine gave Kanone a bit of a look, but it wasn't as mean as usual. He just raised his hand and gently knocked Kanone's away from his face. "You should be glad you have a broken rib or that would have been your neck," he said quietly. "Stop talking. You're hurting yourself on top of sounding like an idiot." He sighed and then leaned his head over against Kanone's arm lightly.
"And you're being clingy..." he said simply as she pushed Celestine's head off his arm a little playfully. "Go hug Nero, he could use one."

Esen chuckled softly and then nuzzled against Nobu again. 'It isn't that bad... It looks nice when it's dry,' she told him. She licked his face one more time and then laid head head on his shoulder lightly. She seemed to at least like Nobu about as much as she liked Celestine. Nobu and Zale were the first of their kind that he'd met. 'Oh...did you see? I think Aamori found Zale's blades...'

Aamori's breath caught when she felt that he was closer. He was actually close enough that she could feel his breath against her lips. Of course that only made her heart race faster, if it could even get any faster than it already was. She startled at the sound of Hikari's voice and opened her eyes rather quickly. She finally remembered to breath again once Celestine had loosened his grip and started getting to his feet. She sucked in a quick breath and wound up coughing on the exhale while simultaneously lifting her hand to press against the center of her chest. She lifted her eyes to look at Hikari when she heard her say that she'd carry her this time. That just barely registered through the embarrassment of wondering if Hikari had seen at all how close her and Celestine had been. She looked back towards Celestine briefly when he spoke. Her cheeks must have liked being red because they were still roughly the same tint after looking at him this time. She gave him a slight nod before turning her eyes to Hikari's outstretched hands. She eyed them for a moment before dropping her eyes back down to her. "...I'll try and get up in a minute." She paused. "I kind of need to put my staff away first." She told her as she picked up her staff from her lap and started to slip it back into her holster. After it was in place she started to secure it in place. She patted her holster lightly making sure it was tight and then let her eyes rest on the relic. She sighed softly, kind of wishing that she'd thought ahead and brought something to carry that in.

LaRae glanced around a little to see what stage everyone else was at in getting ready to go. She happened to notice the clothing that Aamori had removed before taking her dive were still sitting on the beach. Considering the symbol on the dress at least it would probably look bad for that to continue to sit here until someone found it. She sighed softly and started to move over towards it. She knelt down long enough to grab the dress and what was left of her boots before continuing over to Hikari and Aamori. She paused just off to the side of Aamori once Hikari had obviously offered help her up, or so she guessed by the outstretched hands. "...What do you think you wanna do with these, Aamori?" She asked while holding the clothes out a little in her right hand.

Aamori lifted her eyes again when she heard LaRae this time. Her eyes came to rest quickly on her dress and boots in LaRae's hand. She'd forgotten about those since she'd removed them. She knew she couldn't very well just leave them here. She'd never hear the end of it from Hisako if she ever found out that these things had been left behind like trash. "I'll take that stuff..." She said quietly as she reached up to take the stuff from LaRae. She pulled the clothing over to her lap and thought about how she was going to carry everything while being carried herself. She eyed her dress for a moment before she got an idea. She set the boots beside her for a moment along with the relic then started to fold her dress so that it was longer than it was wide. She then reached over to her boots and the relic. She wrapped her boots loosely around the relic and then tucked it under a flap of fabric from her dress, making sure to place it in the middle. She pulled the fabric taut, twisting it just a little on either side of the relic so that it wouldn't side inside the fabric and then moved it so that the part of the fabric containing the relic was at her back. She had one end of her dress in each hand still and pulled one end over her right shoulder and the other below her left arm. She pulled the ends somewhat tight and then knotted them together at her chest as best as possible. After that she shimmied the fabric around until the relic was resting in front of her with the knot at the back. At least that way if the fabric decided to come undone from the knot she'd be able to grab the relic easier. This also added a little pressure to her chest which was a little comforting. She looked back up at Hikari after she was done messing around with the stuff in her lap. "...Sorry that took so long..." She mumbled quietly. She knew Hikari had said they needed to leave and here she'd left her hanging while she did something with the relic. She hadn't expected Hikari to keep her hands held out to her the entire time and waited patiently for her to offer them again. She started to shift so that she was sitting on her knees first and then reached for Hikari's hands to help her get to her feet. She struggled a good deal to get to her feet and once she had her legs shook a little and she tightened her hold on Hikari's hands. She didn't really want to let go, afraid she'd fall down if she did.

Nero sighed quietly once Kanone and Celestine were near him. He was trying not to listen to those two but it was hard not to hear them. He turned his head slowly and glared down at Kanone after hearing him mention that he could use a hug and from Celestine of all people. If Kanone wasn't already hurting from the broken rib he surely would've hit him and not too nicely either. He sighed heavily and shook his head. "Kanone, shut up."

Nobu shook his head lightly. His fur only looked nice when it was straight and dry, not fluffed up and dry. He wasn't in the mood to fit her on it. He lifted his head slightly after she'd asked if he had seen the blades. He shook his head a little. 'No, I haven't... I've been a little... preoccupied until now.' He responded. Of course since she brought it up he had to look around for the blades now. He was pretty sure that he saw them and couldn't help but move over towards them. 'I'm going to go look...' He was interested now since Esen said she thought Aamori found Zale's blades. Once he was near the blades he stared down at them for a few moments. They certainly looked similar to the his and Esen's but he couldn't really tell if they were special. The only ones he could tell were special were his and that was only because he was linked to them. He reached down and grabbed hold of the strap that held the two blades together with his teeth and then lifted them up from the sand. He didn't think Aamori would be carrying them and it wasn't like they were that heavy, so it wasn't going to kill him to carry them for her. After he had them he started to head back towards Esen, assuming she hadn't followed him to begin with.

Hikari nodded slightly when Aamori said that she wanted to wait and needed to do something with her staff. She lowered her hands back to her sides and then watched her put her staff away before she started to extend her hands again, only to drop them right back when LaRae bought up her clothes. Honestly, she'd already forgotten about those as well. She watched as Aamori twisted and folded them until she'd made herself a little pack to put the relic in. Well, at least she didn't have to worry about her dropping it now. Once she had apologized she smiled and extended her hands again. "It's alright," she told her as she pulled her up carefully and then held on while she tried to keep her legs under her. "Alright, I need my hand," she said quietly as she moved closer and shook her right hand loose to wrap around her back tightly. "Okay, I've got you," she assured her as she shook her other hand lose and then quickly belt to sweep her other arm under Aamori's legs, scooping her up in her arms. The added weight made her bite her lower lip as pain shot through her leg, but it passed relatively quickly. She blinked when she noticed Nobu picking up the blades and walking away with them. She sighed and glanced over to LaRae again, "Is your arm alright?" she asked gently as she started to turn to walk back up the beach. She was going to need a little bit of take off room. She went ahead and opened her wings a little, wiggling the one until her bow was out of her way and not going to interfere with her opening her wings.

Celestine shook his head slightly when Kanone told him to hug Nero and Nero told him to shut up. "Please..." he agreed flatly, "I think he'll live." He turned his head slightly to look at Hikari when she started back in their general direction with Aamori in her arms. He sighed and then shook his head slightly, though he blinked when he noticed Nobu coming back that way as well with blades hanging out of his mouth. "...Where did those come from?" he muttered quietly.

Kanone snickered quietly when Nero told him to shut up and Celestine agreed. "What? I'm just sayin'." He glanced at Celestine again when he muttered something and then glanced over to Nobu and shook his head a little. "...Aamori fished those out of the water before she found the relic..." he said simply, sounding annoyed, "down there wasting her air..." he added with a sigh. He was obviously still a bit put off with Aamori over the whole thing. "By the way...think you can get Nobu across?" he asked finally.
"Huh?" he looked back to him and tilted his head, "I can't even fly myself across. I was just going to wait until my wings are dry..."
"You can walk, can't you?" he asked as he made a walking motion int he air with his fingers. "I've seen you do it..."

"...Oh...that..." he said quietly. "...Yeah, I guess I could do that..." he said quietly since the fog was gone and no longer messing with his vision. "...I've never tried to do that to something else before, though...I can try it." He glanced at Nobu again as he went back to Esen and then turned to walk over to him again, placing his hand on his head gently. "...Do you want to try walking with me?" he asked quietly, "It's like what you did with Aamori, only...in the air. It's a littler harder, but...I can show you how to move without climbing."

Kanone watched Celestine walk away and then shook his head slightly with a soft sigh, "Kid can't even remember his own abilities," he muttered to himself.

Esen simply stood right where Nobu had left her and watched him as he took the blades and started back to her again. She tilted her head a little and then wagged he tails slightly. 'What do you think? I don't know why else they would be at the bottom of the ocean...it makes sense since Zale is running around so much...' She looked over to Celestine when he approached and then tiled her head and looked back to Nobu, wagging her tails slightly again. 'I could carry them if you want...it make be easier.'

Aamori knew well enough that Hikari was going to need her hands back and she certainly didn't want to give them back to her unless she was sure that she wasn't going to fall. She had barely moved her legs at all since she started breathing again and now she was straight up on them; they felt like rubber. She reluctantly didn't hold onto Hikari's hands for dear life once she started to take them away from her. She kept pretty quiet until Hikari had managed to get her lifted up. She stared up at her face, noticing her bite her lip. "...Are you okay, Hikari?" She asked quietly. She kind of hated to have anyone carry her right now. Everyone was hurt to some degree and here she was, still in need of being carried. Granted, she did have a pretty good excuse this time for not being able to fly herself. She still hated the idea of someone who was hurt having to carry her, especially Hikari of all people. She'd just spent God only knows how much energy healing everyone she could while she was suffering from her own injury and now she was carrying dead weight, practically. She sighed heavily and positioned her arms over her chest where the relic was stashed before lowering her eyes.

LaRae watched quietly while Aamori got to her feet with Hikari's help. She stayed where she was just until Hikari had picked Aamori up. After she had her she started to head back, pausing briefly when she noticed Nobu as well. She tilted her head slightly, curious about the blades that he had in his mouth but didn't say anything. She looked over at Hikari when she heard her ask about her arm. She nodded lightly and then started to walk again once Hikari had started. "Yeah, I believe so." She paused. "That cast stuff... it works pretty well, aside from the pain while it hardens." She added quietly. She was pretty sure that the crack in the cast would go unnoticed so long as she kept her arm close to her body and since that was where it had been before she even got the cast put on she didn't think it stuck out or put up any red flags.

Nero glanced back over to Kanone briefly when he started answering what Celestine had asked. He shook his head before looking away from him. "It's really healthy to hold that against her, you know Kanone." He paused. "I know what she did was stupid and she'll be branded an idiot in my book for ever most likely, but nearly dying seems a harsh enough punishment to me without you being mad at her for what she did." He told him. "Then again... what do I care if you decide to have a few not so nice words with her and in a rather bad tone." He shrugged lightly. In his own opinion it only took one person to say something to Aamori for her stunt. She'd probably learn more if no one else said anything to her about it. Of course that was his opinion. He felt it was better to let her stew on her thoughts, she'd learn just fine that way. Not to mention it was a waste of time to be upset about it. She'd be over it before he was, no doubt.

Nobu came to a stop near Esen and then set the blades down for now. He gave them another once over. 'We won't know for sure that they're Zale's until he sees them. He'll be able to tell us for sure, but it does make sense if they were found at the bottom of the ocean.' He paused and shook his head slightly. '...That's one hell of a place to hide your blades... especially if you're not looking for an owner right away.' He lifted his head slightly and looked over at Celestine when he came over and placed his hand on his head. He listened to his offer and honestly he was a little uneasy about the idea of walking on air. At least when he was walking on the water with Aamori he could see where he was setting his feet. With the air... not so much. He didn't really have a lot of options on how to get back across the water. Aamori was out of the question and everyone who was strong enough to carry him wasn't well enough to do so, or didn't have the free arms. He nodded his head almost reluctantly. The whole idea had him a bit uncomfortable. '...I guess just tell me what I am going to have to do...' He told him quietly before he glanced back down at the blades. Esen could carry those he guessed. It would probably be easier on Celestine if she did since he'd be helping him get across the water. 'And I suppose you can go ahead and carry those, Esen.'

Kyran had kept an eye on everyone else while he waited for them to be ready to go. Once it looked like they might be close enough to taking off he started to shift a little. He slipped his other arm under Nanashi's legs, just at his knees and repositioned his arm a little before he started trying to pick Nanashi up. He struggled a good deal trying to get upright with him thanks to his back hurting like it was. It was definitely easier picking Nanashi up from the stairs. He winced a couple times through the process of getting to his feet and then sighed heavily once he was upright. He stood there for a moment and shifted Nanashi's weight a little so that he was more comfortable holding him and then started to open up his wings to stretch them as he started to head towards the others.

Hikari looked down to Aamori and smiled after a moment. "Yes, I'm alright, "she said quietly. She gave Aamori a little squeeze by pulling her closer to her when she caught her looking down, "Don't worry about it." She turned her gaze back over to LaRae and nodded slightly, "Yes...that stuff is really helpful...I'm sure it's save most of you today. I would have been nearly out of energy just from taking care of Nanashi's wounds alone if not for the things Taro gave me." She smiled slightly, "I'm sorry it hurts...there's nothing that I can really do about that..." she said quietly, "I wish it were as pleasant as it was convenient."

Kanone glanced over to Nero when he heard his little bit of sarcasm. He sighed quietly and then shook his head a little. "...I didn't plan to say anything to her at all, that's why I got up when I did..." he said quietly, "That's just why I would rather stay away from her for a little while until I cool down... She really scared the crap out of me; I really thought she was dead...especially since it took so long to revive her..." He raised his hand to his forehead and leaned his head down a bit into his palm. "I've never been in a situation like that before...not when there was still a chance... It just really scared me. I couldn't even think straight. I really do like her...and what the heck was I supposed to tell Celestine if she didn't make it? I don't think I could stand seeing that look on his face again..." He was between a bit of a rock and a hard place. It was clear when he said that he liked Aamori he meant as potential girlfriend material, yet he also seemed acutely aware that Celestine liked her enough to be upset if she had died. He really didn't know how much more dead Celestine could put up with... everyone really close to him was dead except for him and Marius, and he didn't get attached to people quite as easily as Kanone did.

Celestine nodded slightly to Nobu when he said that he would try it and then blinked when he finally noticed the blades. He stared at them for a moment. 'Oh gods...if this means Zale's coming, can we throw them back? I like sleeping...' he thought, mostly to himself. He shook his head and then looked back to Nobu again. "Well...it's not too hard, it just...takes a little more concentration..." He said quietly. He took a step back and then closed his eyes for a moment. His hair and clothing started to blow about slightly as if caught in a wind, though it didn't really effect anything else in the immediate area, except maybe Nobu and Esen's fur. a very dim aura surrounded his body for a moment before it seemed to diminish when he opened his eyes. He looked at Nobu and then held his hands out to him as well and placed one hand on either side of his face as he closed his eyes again and tried to focus the same energy onto Nobu. After a moment the same aura surrounded him and then faded as he opened his eyes. "Raise one foot and then step down..." he said quietly, keeping his hands on Nobu's head lightly. He raised his own foot a little and then stepped down and his foot bent near the toes as if he had just stepped onto something solid before he lifted his other foot into the air to meet the other one, all the while keeping his hands still. "Only one foot. I want to make sure that I can do this without dropping you if we're not touching," he explained quietly.

Esen nodded slightly in agreement with Nobu when he said that was one hell of a place to hide the blades. She watched as Celestine stepped back and then started to use his magic before he took a hold of Nobu. She tiled her head curiously to the side as her tails swayed behind her a little while she watched Celestine step up into the air and instruct Nobu to lift one paw. She was kind of interested to see how this would work out. She hoped it worked anyway, she'd hate for Nobu to be stuck over here... She kind of wished she could held him, but she doubted that she'd be able to...then again she'd never really tried carrying anything heavy before.

Aamori slowly lifted her eyes a little after Hikari said that she was alright and then nodded a little after she told her not worry about it. She kept her hands pressed over the relic and continued to be as still as she possibly could. She didn't want to do anything that could possibly make this harder on Hikari. She also hoped that there wasn't going to be any trouble flying across the water. With it being nighttime like it was the sharks, like the one from the boat ride, would be out and about now. Though, there was no guarantee that they'd come so close to the islands.

LaRae continued to follow Hikari. She glanced over at her when she spoke and nodded her head. "...You use that thing's that Kyran's uncle gave you, a lot." She commented quietly. Hikari seemed to use the stuff whenever she got the chance. It was almost rare now to see her healing without using Taro's medical stuff. She kind of hoped that Hikari didn't run out of that stuff, especially if it was helping her to care for everyone like she was. She glanced back down at her arm for a moment, staring at the cast. She sighed quietly. "The pain is kind of a given since the healing process is sped up with the stuff from Taro. I'd be surprised and consider it a miracle if there was no pain and wounds still healed so quickly."

Nero listened quietly to Kanone while he spoke and then sighed heavily once he was finished. He could understand where he was coming from, he guessed. He'd kind of been in that position before with someone he worked with rather than a girl that he liked. Being in the military like he was you couldn't help being in situations where someone that you cared for, a comrade in his case, could be dead or dying at least. He shook his head lightly and glanced over at him. "That was so nice of you." He started sarcastically. "Help save her life and then ditch her before she even got the chance to see you. I have no doubt that Hikari told her that you helped save her... I wonder how it made her feel when you weren't around after everything sank in." He shook his head again. "She probably looked for you too." He shifted a little and then started to open his wings some since he was positive they'd be leaving in a few moments. "Near death experiences like that are enough to unsettle a person completely, not just you but the person that it happened to. She was likely in shock when she found out what happened. At any rate I guess it's a good thing that Hikari was at least there to comfort her." He sighed quietly and then looked out at the water. "If this type of thing should happen again, which I'm sure it will at some point... if you're scared, don't just get up and leave the side of a person who you've just helped revive. Even if you think you'll say something you shouldn't... you can do more damage to a person by not being there than by saying something mean." He glanced back over to Kanone from the corner of his eye, in all seriousness. "And what would you have done if after you ran away from the situation she stopped breathing again? Hikari would've been all by herself trying to revive her again just because you couldn't stick by the girl that you claim to like." He finally just shrugged lightly. "Anyway, I guess my point would be that if you're going to put yourself out there to save someone who has a near death experience don't give up half way through it. Recovery and how a person handles it is also an important part of saving someone. Not to mention that depending on how a person recovers from such a thing, it can change their personality drastically." Or well, maybe that was all in his own opinion but he had seen a person or two change who they were just because of an experience like almost dying. "Oh... and what you would say to Celestine... you don't have to worry about that. She's alive. So you can stop thinking about that part, at least."

Nobu stared up at Celestine when he started to speak and nodded his head slightly after hearing that it took a little more concentration. Well he figured that since Aamori had needed to concentrate a great deal just to keep them above the water. Though Aamori had probably done that with others a lot more often than Celestine had. He continued to listen quietly while Celestine started to show and instruct him on how to go about this. His ears laid back a little when it was time for him to try with one paw. The idea of walking on the air, over open water was a little unnerving. He just hoped that he could get comfortable with it like he had with Aamori's walking on water. He had been paying close attention when Celestine stepped up, he just hoped it would be so easy for him. He stood where he was for a moment, staring at Celestine while he held his head. He hesitated for a minute before he started to lift up his front left paw. He kept it held in the air for a moment and then finally went to try and step down like Celestine had told him to. He still wasn't so sure about this, especially since he couldn't see what he was supposed to step down on or if he had even successfully stepped down on what he was supposed to, to begin with.

Hikari glanced over to LaRae again and then shook her head slightly. "Only when the wounds are serious enough...or if it's a burn... I don't know how to heal those yet. Broken bones are very tiring to heal because the natural process takes so long...it's the same with large flesh wounds." She smiled slightly, "You guys are a real trial, you know?" She shifted positions slightly as she came to a stop, "I'm not a trained healer, everything I do I've had to figure out for myself. I don't like messing with broken bones at all, I'm almost afraid I'll make it worse. If I were a trained healer, I'm sure healing all of these wounds would be next to nothing; I've seen some of our healers take on someone who was near death and walk away nothing more than a little short of breath..." she shook her head a little, "I guess I'm going to have to study a little more when I get home. I think I'm going to need it at the rate things are going." She glanced around to the others and then blinked when she saw Celestine standing in the air. Well, that was interesting to spectate at least. Finally, she opened her wings and stretched them a little since she saw Nero opening his wings.

Kanone side glanced at Nero when he got sarcastic again and then sighed and looked away. He was still listening, though it may not have been too apparent. His ears fell back a little and he just closed his eyes while his hands slowly clenched themselves into fists. He didn't make a sound or even look back at him again until he was finished speaking and then he finally cracked his eyes open and glanced over to him again, though by now he looked more like he would love to go crawl under a rock right now. "...You confuse the hell out of me, you know..." he said quietly, "First you call me an idiot for getting involved in the first place and how you're on my case for going away... Would you like to point out one thing that I have done right tonight just so I can feel a little less like a worm?" He slowly turned his eyes back a little as if trying to glance behind him without turning his head, but after a moment he just sighed and looked away again, closing his eyes. He felt that urge to start hacking and coughing rising up again and absently raised his arm to wrap around himself. "...Never mind, it doesn't really matter now. If she wants anything to do with me later, then I'll be there... But we really need to get...get going..." he said quietly as raised his hand back to his mouth again. He was doing everything he could not to cough anymore, but he couldn't really stop it. He gagged a little and then coughed into his hand, again tasting blood in his mouth before he clamped his jaws shut and then swallowed hard.

Celestine watched as Nobu set his paw down on the air and then rubbed his head gently. "Your foot will stay wherever you put it in the air, if you want to go down you have to turn your foot down so that the bottom of your foot isn't facing down..." He demonstrated by lifting his foot again and tilting his toes toward the ground before he lowered his foot through the air. "Keep for foot there, just keep stepping down on it." He slowly pulled his hands back and then sighed softly in relief as she slid his feet back, moving away from Nobu. "...Alright...I can do this..." he said quietly. "...Go ahead, try to step up..." he told him as he stood a few feet away. He was pretty sure that he could hold Nobu up easily enough like this. After all, it did take a fair amount of concentration, but at the same time, concentrating on something wasn't as hard for Celestine to concentrate these sort of things as it was for some.

LaRae looked over at Hikari while she spoke. She smiled weakly when Hikari said that they were a real trial. Everyone did seem to do a good job of getting themselves nice and hurt only to rely on Hikari to heal them afterward. She stared over at her for a moment when she had said she wasn't a trained healer but rather that she had taught herself. She couldn't remember if she had heard that before or not but even so she didn't think it was standard practice for a princess to be trained in healing. Even though she was so against letting Hikari heal her most of the time she was still more than a little impressed with her ability to heal others, especially considering she wasn't trained by a professional to do what she could already do. "I don't think I've ever met someone with a healing ability quite that advanced." She commented quietly after hearing about healers that Hikari had seen. She sighed quietly. "...At least you're getting a lot of practice in with as much as everyone winds up injured." She paused and glanced away. "Perhaps we take your ability to heal us for granted." She mumbled quietly.

Nero stared out over the water for a few moments while he listened to Kanone say that he confused the hell out of him. He shook his head lightly with a trace of a smirk. He guessed what he had been saying could be confusing if you weren't picking up on his points. He waited until Kanone was done and then glanced back over at him after he said they really needed to get going. Of course he knew that as well. "It's not really that confusing when you think about it, Kanone." He paused. "If you're going to do something like that in the first place then don't half ass it. When you don't do the whole job it only makes you look worse." He told him. "And you were there for Celestine when he needed you the most." He paused and nodded his head slightly. "I don't think any of us had any idea just how bad his phobia's were and you were able to help him, so you're not a complete 'worm'." He said with a quiet nearly inaudible laugh. He shifted slightly and then looked back at the water. "We're never getting out of here at this rate, someone's got to go first." He shifted his eyes to Kanone. "This time you can go first." He told him. He didn't really care if Kanone went first but he wanted to at least be able to keep an eye on him so he intended to follow behind him whenever they got started heading back to the other island.

Nobu continued to listen as closely as possible while Celestine was explaining things to him. He didn't want to miss anything of course. He nodded his head slightly after Celestine had instructed on how to go down from where he was standing with his paw on the air. The instruction seemed easy enough and honestly he didn't really have to do a thing. Just like last time all of the hard work was put on the person who was helping him across the water. He couldn't help feeling like an annoyance and a hindrance all at the same time. He stared at Celestine for a moment when he moved away. He nodded his head lightly once he was told to go ahead and try to step up. He hesitated again to even get moving. He'd probably find this a little easier to talk himself into doing without hesitation if Celestine was one hundred percent confident in his ability to hold him up as well. After all this was going to be Celestine's first attempt at walking someone, or something else rather and it was going to be across open water. He finally got himself in gear and started to step up just as he was instructed. It took him a moment because he was double checking himself after each paw before he moved onto the next. Once he was standing there he lifted his head to look over at Celestine but didn't bother moving from where he was at.

Kyran had stopped just a little off from everyone else and was waiting as patiently as he could. He was more than ready to get going and Nanashi certainly wasn't getting any lighter. If anything he felt like he may have been getting heavier. He knew that wasn't possible and it was probably just his body playing tricks on him. "We're pretty much good to go, right?" He asked while glancing around. He was mostly waiting for someone else to go first. Since he was carrying someone he didn't exactly want to go first. He already had to focus on holding onto Nanashi, he didn't really want to be in charge of making sure everyone else was headed in the right direction. Then again... if you were facing the sister island all you really had to do was fly straight so there wasn't a whole lot of getting lost involved and with the moons light it wasn't like it was impossible to see. He shook his head and sighed heavily. Maybe he was just trying to come up with a reason in his mind as to why he shouldn't go first.

Hikari glanced back to LaRae and smiled again. "Well, there is a healing that somewhat lives with me, I made a hobby out of pestering her to death," she said with a quiet laugh. She shook her head a little when she said that they took her ability for granted. "...I can't say that I mind it. It is very tiring, I'll admit, but so long as I am able I am willing. I don't like seeing anything in pain, especially not people that I'm going to be around for a while. Besides...if someone didn't do something about it, it would just be a nuisance int he future. A lot of little things can certainly add up and when we have to fight, it's just one more thing to worry about; if the person who's already hurt is going to be hurt worse. I would rather take care of it quickly than wait until it was too serious. The worse it is the more straining it is to fix. Can you imagine if you arm was still bleeding and had a broken bone?" She shuddered slightly just thinking about what that would even look like. She glanced over to Kyran and then nodded when he asked if they were pretty much good to go. She was pretty much ready to put Aamori in a bed, and she was pretty sure he was ready to do the same with Nanashi.

Kanone glanced back to Nero again after he got over the coughing fit and then lowered his hand again. He half smiled when he said that he wasn't a complete worm. "Gee, thanks... " Glanced back out over the water again when he said that he could go first. "...Great..." He backed up a little and opened his wings while he stared out over the water, hesitating again. He'd already flown once, so he already knew this wasn't going to feel too good. Finally he took a deep breath and bit his lower lip before he took a short run and flapped his wings hard a few times to get himself into the air. He let out his breath once he was up and then coughed quietly while he wrapped his arm around his middle again. ...Ow...damn...that hurt... He about wished he had more of a reason to be in the air than getting himself across the water, at least then he'd have something more important to concentrate on than the godawful pain in his chest this time. He wasn't flying anywhere near as fast as he and Celestine had been before, he was probably going about as fast as one of the other would normally. Since the fog wasn't there to clobber his view he took advantage of the ability to stay high over the water once he got going.

Celestine nodded slightly in approval when Nobu managed to get himself into the air. He sighed quietly, relieved that this was a lot easier than he would have thought it would be. After a moment he glanced away when he noticed Kanone taking off into the air and then he looked back to Nobu again while he slid his feet back again, gliding away from him gracefully, almost as if he was on ice. "Walk to me," he told Nobu quietly as he held out his hands for him. "Watch how you walk...if you pick your feet up your foot will stay wherever the bottom of your foot touches..." he told him, "Slide your feet, or keep them angled until you're ready to stop your foot." He wanted to be sure that Nobu was going to be able to do this before they actually got over the water doing this.

Esen watched Nobu for a few moments and then finally reached down to pick up the blades once Celestine had started coaching Nobu. She looked up to the sky where Kanone had gone and then looked back to Celestine and Nobu again. She was trying to wait for them to get going, but she did kind of want to get in the air. She pranced around in the sand where she stood for a few moments before she glanced over the water again. She probably could have been most of the way over there by now had she taken off earlier, but she wanted to stick by Celestine and Nobu for now.

Nero watched Kanone as he backed up a little and then took off into the air. After Kanone was in the air he took a few steps back, needing a little more room than Kanone had to get himself into the air. He stretched out his wings and flexed them a little before he finally gave himself a bit of a running start before flapping his wings hard enough to get himself into the air. Once he was in the air he was already regretting taking off like that. With the tooth still lodged in his lower leg taking off like that really did hurt. Unfortunately there wasn't a whole lot of options for getting into the air. He wasted very little time getting as high up as Kanone an he tried to stay as close to him as possible just in case there was a problem.

Kyran was glad to see Kanone and then Nero take off. They were finally getting out of here and he was glad. That meant he was one step closer to being able to put Nanashi down in a bed. After those two had taken off he had already started to open up his wings. Rather than wait to see who was going next he made sure he had enough room and started to take off himself. He struggled a little to take off but managed to get himself into the air. Once he was off the ground he tightened his grip on Nanashi slightly. Getting into the air while holding him was definitely harder than when he had carried Celestine that once. He already wanted this to be over, it was more a little more painful than he thought it would be. His back wasn't getting even the slightest bit of relief from this.

LaRae listened quietly to Hikari and couldn't really think of anything to respond with. She merely nodded her head at least to acknowledge that she'd heard everything she said. "I guess I could imagine my arm bleeding and broken..." She mumbled quietly. She wasn't a healer so she didn't really get anything that seemed to make Hikari shudder. She wasn't even certain on basic first aid so she really couldn't even imagine how you'd go about fixing the problem if you weren't able to use healing magic. She shrugged lightly and shifted her attention slightly when they started taking off. She looked over at Kyran when he decided to go. She knew she wanted to stick close to Nanashi so she stepped away from Hikari and started to stretch her wings out more as Kyran took off. Once he was in the air she glanced over to Hikari and smiled weakly. "See you on the other side." She said and then started after Kyran. She flapped her wings hard and lifted off. After she was in the air she took her right hand and reached over to her left arm to hold it beside her. She sighed quietly and made sure to catch up to Kyran and keep a safe distance from him.

Nobu eyed Celestine's feet when he moved back, noticing that he slid rather than taking a step back. He was pretty observant but that was likely due to the fact that he needed to be paying close attention to this since it was so new to him. He looked up at Celestine when he told him to walk to him and then tilted his head slightly after hearing the words that followed. Why couldn't this be as easy as it was with Aamori? At least then all he had to do was walk just like if he was walking on any solid surface. He for the most part ignored Esen while he was working with Celestine. He didn't want to be distracted. He lowered his head slightly and looked at his paw as he lifted it up, mostly to test to see if he would indeed climb higher like he was being lead to believe. He shook his head lightly when his paw touched down a bit higher. He could see how this could be a pain if you weren't paying attention to what you were doing. He lowered his paw back down so that all of his paws were at the same level again. He looked back over at Celestine for a moment and then tried to get get his paws to slide like Celestine's feet had. It was a little more difficult for him considering he had four paws compared to two feet but he managed to slide his paws. He was pretty sure he looked funny moving like he was but at this point he didn't care, he just wanted to get across the water and not hold anyone back. Once he finally did reach Celestine he looked up at him and shook his head a little. '...I think walking on water is a little bit easier than this...'

Hikari watched as the others were taking off and then nodded to LaRae when she said that she would see her on the other side. "...Hmm..." she really wasn't looking forward to the take off. She glanced over to Celestine for a moment and tilted her head slightly. "Are you going to be alright?"

Celestine simply watched as Nobu came over to him and then placed his hands on his head, gently rubbing his ears. "...Maybe for you and Aamori," he said with a weak smile. He glanced over to Hikari when he heard her and then nodded in response.

"Alright..." she quietly as she shifted Aamori's weight a little. She took a deep breath and then let it out slowly before she took another and held it as she started running. Just before she reached the water she jumped while flapping her wings to lift herself into the air while tightening her grip on Aamori to make sure that she didn't drop her. She groaned quietly once she was in the air, really wanting to rub her leg. That hadn't felt too good on the jump. She glanced down to Aamori again and smiled slightly, "Hold on tight, okay?" she told her as she struggled to catch up with the others a little more.

Celestine looked back to Nobu again and lowered himself a little before he wrapped his arms around his neck gently. "Don't worry, I wont let you fall." he assured him. He gave him a little nuzzle and then released him again and backed up a little. "Just stay close to me. You'll be fine." He turned to face the water and then reached over to put his hand on Nobu's back gently. "Esen, you can go ahead," he told her, since he had a feeling they were going to be going a little slow until Nobu got the hang of this. "Come on, we need to go higher...I don't want to be too close to the water." He bent his knees and then jumped up a good five feet into the air. Once he'd stopped going up he kicked off again, repeating the process until he was standing on his toes, roughly twenty feet over the water. He looked down again to make sure that Nobu was coming and offered him an encouraging smile as he waited patiently for him.

Esen tilted her head a little and then nodded before she opened her wings and started beating them rapidly until she was in the air. She glanced back to Celestine as he was raising himself into the air and then flew up until she was at about the same height. She watched the two of them for a few moments, hovering where she was before she finally started to fly after the others, making sure to keep a firm grip on the strap with her teeth. She guessed she could just meet them over on the other side, that worked fine as well.

Kanone glanced back when he noticed Nero flying so close to him and just offered him a slight smile before she glanced away again. He still had his arm wrapped around himself while he flew, and was trying to take tiny breaths to that he didn't move too much. Unfortunately, his wings caused a slight movement in his ribs every time that he flapped, so it still hurt no matter what he did. For the first half of the flight he wasn't having too much trouble, but by the time they'd gotten a little over halfway he was already getting tired and being forced to take deeper breaths than were comfortable, which was also leaving him with that urge to cough. He coughed once and immediately felt pain shoot through his chest again even worse than before and the motion knocked him a little off-balance in the air. He quickly threw his hand over his mouth and just held his breath all together while he tried hard not to cough again, though he almost felt like he was choking. He narrowed his eyes as he sped up his flight, desperately trying to get to the opposite beach. He was going down before he was even close to the beach and he finally touched down not even completely out of the water's reach. He stumbled forward a couple of steps and then fell on his knees, just out of the wave's reach before he started to gag and cough roughly. He felt the thick warm liquid oozing over his hand as he hacked it up, unable to stop it this time. He just curled in on himself again from the pain while he continued to cough and simultaneously try to catch his breath, which was proving to be increasingly difficult.

Aamori stayed quiet while Hikari carried her and didn't say a word until after Hikari had already managed to get herself into the air. She looked up at her after she told her to hang on tight. Of course after Hikari said that she noticed that she hadn't been holding onto her at all. She still had her arms over the relic. She carefully shifted her arms one at a time so that she could put them around Hikari's neck to hold on like she was told.

Nobu nodded his head a little after Celestine assured him that he wouldn't let him fall. Even should that happen he guessed he wasn't that worried about it. He could swim alright and he hadn't built up that much of a charge in his fur again so he doubted he'd shock anything if he ended up in the water. To top it all off he didn't have to worry about anyone else being in the water. He watched as Celestine went higher and then stared up at him for a moment. Of course they needed to go higher. He lowered his ears briefly and then started to get himself to head higher. He started stepping up a little at a time first until he was a little safer with the idea and then decided to jump up until he was at the same height as Celestine. He looked at him once he was close to him. '...We should get going.' He mumbled quietly while doing his best not focus on how high up he was. He wasn't really afraid of heights but there was a difference between being carried at this height and walking freely. It was more than enough to make him uncomfortable. He waited for Celestine to start moving and had every intention of following him as closely as he could until they reached the other side.

Nero continued to follow after Kanone, keeping an eye on him while they flew. He of course started to worry a little when Kanone was knocked a little off balance. Then again when Kanone started to descend before he was close to the beach. He followed behind him until just after he had touched down. He didn't bother touching down until he was a good couple feet ahead of where Kanone had finally stopped. He was careful how he landed and made sure that his good foot hit the sand before his bad. As soon as his feet hit the sand he'd shut his wings tightly behind him and turned around to walk closer to Kanone in one simultaneous quick motion. He stopped just a foot or two away from Kanone and stared down at him for a moment before he started to glance around the island. Kanone wasn't doing well, not if he was coughing stuff up and now that he was honestly thinking about it he didn't see them making it to the training building easily or in a timely manner. The guards that watched the bridge were liable to flip out especially at the sight of Aamori having to be carried around. He couldn't help wondering if they'd be able to get into one of the three houses here and if Marius was actually here in one of them.

Kyran wasn't too far behind Nero, mostly because he was trying to fly quickly so that he could get out of the sky. He let himself down a bit off to the side out of the way. As soon as his feet hit the sand his knees buckled and he dropped down into the sand. He at least managed to keep a hold of Nanashi and didn't fall forward or anything. He finally gave in and had to set Nanashi down but he made sure to do it gently. After he had set Nanashi down he started to close up his wings and then turned slightly so that he could lean down on his arms. Flying with the extra weight hurt a lot more than he thought it would.

LaRae tried her best to keep up with Kyran but he managed to fly just a little faster than her which put him closer to Nero than her. She made sure to touch down nearer to Kyran and Nanashi than Kanone and Nero. As soon as her feet made contact with the sand she shut her wings and started to release her left arm, letting it rest close to her side again while she stepped over to Kyran and Nanashi. She was surprised to see that Kyran had to put Nanashi down after flying but it was obvious that his back was bothering him a considerable amount more than she had thought. Well, at least they were on this side now.

Hikari Smiled weakly when Aamori held onto her neck like she was asked, "Good girl..." she said quietly once she felt that Amaori had a decent grip. She was a little easier to carry like this at least. Hikari managed to stay just a little ways behind LaRae once she'd gotten herself going. Flying to her right now was no trouble at all, save for her being a little tired, it was the take off and landings that were proving to be difficult. Once she made it to the other side of the water she started to descend just a little further down from where Kyran and LaRae had landed. She was trying to be careful of how the landed, but it didn't seem to matter. She put her good leg down first and almost immediately lost her balance on the sand with the extra weight, so she threw down her other leg as she was falling over only to have it give out under the pressure. She yelped, partially in surprise as she topped over sideways, trying not to drop Aamori as she fell. By the time she landed her injured leg was curled up under her and she hand saved herself with her elbow, though her head cracked off of Aamori's knee once. "...Ow..." she groaned quietly. She slowly lowered Aamori to the sand before she pushed herself upright again. "You alright?I'm sorry...I'm not good at landing on sand..."

Celestine waited until Nobu had caught up with him and then nodded in response to his statement. He placed his hand back on Nobu's head again and then slid it down to rest at his shoulder blades as he glided forward easily, practically skating across the sky. He moved slowly at first so Nobu wouldn't have to much trouble, though he soon discovered that so long as Nobu wasn't resisting he could push him along fairly easily. It wasn't as if there was much traction to stop him from being pushed along, so he kept his hand braced right at the nap of Nobu's neck and sped up, keeping the canine so close to him that his left leg brushed against his side every time he moved it. Nobu could have stopped moving his feet altogether soon enough and still kept with him. It had been a long time since he'd done anything like this, and he was actually kind of enjoying wind in his face, even if it was cold against his damp clothes and bare skin. Once they neared the beach he started to slow down, growing instantly concerned when he saw Kanone doubled over on the sand. "Alright...start down..." he said quietly, trying to help Nobu down as he moved toward the sand as if descending a ladder, simply standing on one foot as he moved the other down and then bracing that foot while he repositioned the other until his feet were touching the sand again. As soon as Nobu made it to the ground he pulled his hand back and cut the link so he could move without going up again.

Esen stayed a little ways behind Hikari as she flew, glancing back only occasionally to see how Nobu and Celestine were getting along. She didn't bother to wait up for them this time, she just went on to the other side and then landed a little way up the beach before she laid the blades down in the sand and turned around to go hover beside Nero. She looked at Kanone and laid her ears back before whining softly as she inched closer to his side.

Kanone didn't even raise his head when Nero came over to him again, he barely even registered his presence. His face had already started to turn red from the coughing, and his eyes were watering badly both from how hard he was coughing and the pain that they caused. Every time he stopped coughing long enough to take a breath, that only seemed to trigger more coughs. By the time Esen had gotten to him, he had at least started to get in a little more breathing time between coughs. mostly because he'd finally coughed up a good bit of that blood he'd been trying to keep down. Finally he dropped his bloody hand away from his mouth and onto the sand to hold himself up better while his other remained wrapped tightly around his middle. He was trembling all over from the strain of coughing so much just then. He didn't didn't bother to raise his head at all, he just took to panting quietly once he'd finally suppressed the cough.

Aamori kept her arms around Hikari's neck and sighed quietly after hearing her say 'Good girl'. She was pretty sure that wasn't meant to be mean but she couldn't help thinking that was usually said to an animal or a little kid when they did something right. She didn't bother lifting her eyes to look around until they started to get closer to the other island and were about to land. She startled when Hikari yelped and automatically tightened her grip a little around her neck when she realized that Hikari was falling. She shut her eyes quickly and tried her best to prepare for the fall since it was inevitable. She didn't open her eyes again until after the fall when Hikari started to let her go and ask if she was alright. She lifted her hand and pressed it to her chest, double checking to make sure the relic was still there and then nodded weakly. "...Yeah, I'm okay." She answered quietly. "...What about you, are you alright?" She asked rather concerned since Hikari had fallen on that landing.

Nobu was relieved once all four of his paws were back on the sand. He had to admit that was a pretty fast way to get across the water and without having to swim but if he had to chose between walking on air and walking on water he kind of preferred walking on water. Although, it was just like Celestine had said. He wasn't going to let him fall and he was right, he didn't fall. Since he was safely on the ground he took a couple steps forward and then practically dropped into the sand, quite happy to be on the ground.

Nero assumed that Marius was indeed staying in one of the houses since only one of the three on the island had lights turned on. He glanced down to Esen briefly when he noticed her and then looked back to Kanone. Hikari really needed to get a look at him as soon as possible so the sooner they made it somewhere to rest the better. He sighed quietly and continued to stare down at Kanone. "You can't rest just yet, Kanone." He paused. "If you can get back on your feet you need to." He told him. "It's important that Hikari gets a look at you, especially since you're coughing up blood now." He paused. "Conveniently, I think your grandfather is staying in a house on this island. That's a lot closer than the training building. Do you think you could make it that distance at the very least?" He asked before glancing back towards the house that he saw before with the lights on. It certainly was closer than the training building and surely Marius wouldn't mind them dropping in at least until the majority of major injuries were taken care of.

Kyran continued to sit on his knees in the sand hunched over while he waited for the pain to subside. Once it had he started to pull his hands up from the sand and straighten his back a little. He glanced over to LaRae briefly noticing now that she'd come closer. That didn't surprise him one bit. He sighed quietly and looked back down to Nanashi for a moment before his eyes trailed over to Nero when he heard what he was saying. He hadn't even thought about Marius or the house that he was staying in while he was here. He couldn't help feeling it would be wrong to go knocking on his door looking for a place to stay while they looked after the injured. But that house was a lot closer than the training building and personally, he'd rather carry Nanashi to one of those houses rather than cross that bridge and walk through the three districts to the training building. He shifted slightly and looked over towards Hikari. He wasn't sure if she had seen the shape Kanone was in or heard what Nero said. "Hikari." He called. "Kanone's not doing so well." He paused. "Are you against dropping in on Marius?"

Levana had decided to spend a good portion of the day visiting with Marius. She was taking advantage of the fact that he was here so that she could get away from her normal, slightly repetitive daily activities. She also enjoyed that Marius was staying on the Elders sister island. Since he was staying there she didn't have to have any escorts with her and the guards were at the bridge so she could relax and enjoy herself a little. With it already being dark out she was preparing to leave for the night as she stepped out onto the porch just before the stairs.

The houses here on the island were pretty much identical. The only real things that were different about them were the colors used on the outside and the interior. The house Marius had chosen was the one closest to the water which just so happened to be the house painted and decorated in cool colors. The house itself was lifted up on beams, putting the house at least a good three feet off of the sand. It had a large roofed porch that wrapped all the way around the house. The porch had a railing that only left an opening at the stairs in front of the french doors at the front of the house. Also at the front of the house was a porch swing, strategically placed so one could enjoy the view. The house itself was square shaped and very open with the exception of the bedrooms and bathrooms. There were four bedrooms the house, one in each corner. The rest of the house which was like a plus sign was completely open. After stepping foot in the house there would be a door to the left and then another to the right, which opened up into bedrooms. The other two bedrooms had doors in the exact same places just on the other end of the house. Directly across from the french doors at the front of the house were another identical set that of course opened out onto the porch. The two bedrooms on the left side of the house were connected to one another by a joint bathroom and then the two bedrooms on the right were connected by a joint bathroom as well. After stepping through the front door there were a couple of chairs and small side tables. The center-most part of the house held a small kitchen on one side and a dinning table on the other. Then on the other side of the house near the other doors were larger a couple chaise lounge chairs with wheels on the one end so that they could be wheeled out onto the porch if desired. Everything inside the house was done up like a vacation beach house, all the way down to the prints on the fabric of the chairs. The bedrooms themselves were fairly simple. They each had a double bed with a nightstand on either side along with a short dresser that sat beneath one of the two large windows in the room. There was a window on either wall that connected to the outside of the house. The windows had shutters that could be opened easily which let a good amount of the ocean breeze into the bedrooms.

Hikari nodded to Aamori once she'd confirmed that she was alright. "Good...I'm fine," she said quietly. Her leg disagreed with her, of course, but there wasn't much she could do about that right now. There was sand to be washed out of it when she got the time. Her attention shifted to Kyran when he spoke to her and she shook her head quickly. "No, that's fine," she said quickly. She hadn't really heard what Nero was saying or looked over to Kanone yet, though her ears laid back slightly upon seeing him. He looked kind of pitiful sitting there like that, especially with the blood all over his face from the cuts that Celestine had healed and now what was around his mouth. She looked back to Aamori for a moment and then put her arm around her before she started to climb back to her feet again, absently dusting off her sandy leg. She held out her hands for Aamori again to held her back up again. "Can you stand again?" she asked quickly, eager to get moving. She blinked when she glanced up and noticed someone standing on the front porch of the nearest house. She knew it was someone from the water clan, but she didn't immediately recognize her.

Kanone groaned softly when he heard Nero. He knew that he couldn't rest yet, but for all he cared he could curl up right here and go to sleep. He coughed again quietly, and then raised his head a little to look up at Nero again. He let his breath out and then shook his head a little as he drop it to the sand again. "...G...give....me a...a minute..." he whispered quietly, "...It...hurts..." He couldn't fake his way through that anymore, this was about all he could stand.

Celestine let Nobu stay where he lay when he decided to lay down, barely taking time to pay him on the head as he hurried over to where Nero and Kanone were. He stopped next to Nero and hovered close beside him before his ears laid back after hearing Kanone tell him to give him a minute. He shook his head slightly and then inched closer. "Kanone...get up...," he said quietly. He reached over to him and placed his hand gently on the side of his head. "Come on...I'll help you."

Kanone glanced up again when he heard Celestine and then closed his eyes before he raised his clean hand to his face, wiping the water away from his eyes and the blood away from his mouth before he started to push himself up again. His legs were shaking beneath him, and he felt weak like one might after just being sick. He managed to get himself to his feet again, but he was still hunched over and breathing even more heavily. He side glanced to Celestine again when he felt him beside him and then smiled weakly. "...I'm alright...Cel..."

As soon Kanone started to get to his feet again Celestine was practically glued to his side. He was clearly almost beside himself with worry after hearing that Kanone was coughing up blood. Once he hand a good chance to he wrapped his arm around Kanone's back and wiggled his way under his arm so that it was resting under his shoulder while he placed his other hand gently against the center of his chest and looked up at him with those worry-filled eyes. "...Don't give me that..." he said quietly when Kanone told him that he was alright. For as much as he and Kanone always fought, right now no one would ever believe it from looking at them. Celestine looked as if he would love nothing more than to hug Kanone, only restraining himself because now wasn't the time and it would probably only aggravate the problem. He glanced down briefly when he noticed Esen moving away and going back toward Nobu, apparently ready to get out of everyone's way.

Marius had been up since early in the morning, finding himself unable to get back to sleep even after the long day before. His mind didn't seem to be too willing to rest just yet, though it seemed a good thing that he was up early and already dressed for the day when Levana surprised him with a visit. He had known that she wanted to spend more time with him, but he hadn't expected it to be quite so soon. Thankfully, he wasn't too terribly tired as he sat around and chatted most of the day away with Levana. Marius had finally started to doze off on her at little, and only then did they realize how late it was. He apologized fervently for nodding off as he escorted her to the door. "It was good to see you again so soon," he told her with a smiled as he stepped out onto the porch with her. He absently glanced around a little since the scenery was so much more serene at night. He blinked when he saw the water clearly, and then spotted the mass of figures along the beach near the water. He stepped a little further out onto the porch, looking over at the group worriedly. "...Oh dear..." He couldn't see quite as well as he would have liked from here, but even from here he could tell that some of them were injured considering that not all of them were standing.

((Haha...blahg...))

Aamori felt a little better hearing Hikari say that she was fine, though she imagined that couldn't be too true. She shifted her glance a little when she heard Kyran speak and after the mention of how Kanone was she of course looked in his direction. She knew that he was already hurt well before she went searching for the relic but she couldn't help feeling at least a little to blame for how bad he looked right now. If she hadn't nearly drowned than he wouldn't have had to save her. She looked up at Hikari after she'd gotten to her feet and asked if she could stand again. She nodded weakly. She didn't think that she was able to stand up on her own so easily so she was glad that Hikari had held her hands out once again. She shifted like before so that she was on her knees and then reached to take hold of Hikari's hands. She pulled herself up as quickly as she could with Hikari's help. Her legs were still a bit wobbly beneath her even now. She assumed that Hikari may pick her up again so she didn't hold on so tightly to her hands like she did last time.

Nero sighed quietly as he stared down at Kanone. He knew it hurt, probably better than anyone else here. Even so, Kanone needed to get up. He was more than willing to haul Kanone up onto his feet if he had to, especially since it was his fault that the guy was as bad off as he was. He continued to stand where he was once Celestine had gotten over to Kanone. Celestine was the one out of the whole group who was hurt the least so of course he wasn't going to gripe if Celestine wanted to help Kanone along. He took a moment and glanced around at the others, seeing that they were getting ready to move again as well. He then looked back towards the house they were going to head to and noticed the people on the porch. He assumed one of them to be Marius but was a little unsure of the other. He shrugged lightly and glanced back to Kanone and Celestine. "Don't fight your cousin, Kanone. Just let him help you walk to the house." He paused. "We don't need you eating the sand after a couple steps." He said quietly.

Kyran was relieved to hear that Hikari had no qualms about dropping in on Marius. He was glad that he wasn't going to have to carry Nanashi a greater distance than really necessary. He looked down at Nanashi for a moment and sighed heavily. Already knowing that he wasn't going to like lifting him up from the sand again. He reached over and slipped an arm behind his knees and then put the other at his back. He took a deep breath and then as quickly as he possibly could lifted Nanashi up from the sand. He let his breath out once he was upright again and then sighed softly. Either that didn't hurt as bad or he knew what to prepare for in the pain department.

LaRae continued to linger as close to Kyran and Nanashi as she possibly could without being annoying close. She just wanted to make sure that she was close enough in case Kyran was having trouble carrying Nanashi. She wasn't sure that she could be of too much help with a bum arm but it was better than nothing in her opinion. She was also kind of glad to hear that they weren't going to try and make the trek back to the training building. She didn't even want to think of Kyran accidentally dropping Nanashi on those stone paths.

Levana looked over at Marius after he stepped out onto the porch with her. She smiled and nodded her head a little. "Yes, and I'm glad you didn't turn me away at the door." She said with a quiet chuckle. All things considered she probably could have given him at the very least a day to himself to get comfortable here. She turned a little to look out at the water when she heard him say 'oh dear' like he had. It didn't take scanning the beach that much to have her eyes rest on what she figured his had. She inched closer to the stairs and reached down to grab a little of the fabric of her skirt. She pulled it up a little so that she could descend the stairs with a little more ease. Once her bare feet were in the sand she glanced back to Marius with a slightly worried look of her own. She assumed that the people Marius had spotted was the group she'd met at the training building and even from here they didn't appear to be in great shape. "...Aamori and her friends, I presume?" She asked quietly. If that were the case than she was likely to worry even more, especially if Aamori was hurt. They may not have been related by blood in any way, shape or form but she always tried to treat Aamori like family. Mostly because they were both Water clan Elders, or well, Aamori would be one soon enough.

Hikari pulled up on Aamori when she took her hands and then immediately released one hand to wrap around her back while she swept her other hand under her knees again to lift her up. She glanced down to her for a moment and then smiled weakly as she held her close and then looked back up toward the house to see someone else on the porch now as well. She did at least recognize Marius when she saw him. After a moment she glanced back to the others and then looked back toward the house. "I'm going to go ahead and let Marius know what's going on..." she told them quietly before she started to move up toward the beach house.

Kanone glanced at Nero again when he told him not to fight Celestine and then turned his gaze back to Celestine again, closing his eyes for a moment after seeing that expression on Celestine's face. He moved his arm a little to wrap around Celestine a little more. "...Okay..." he said quietly. He was too tired and sore to be stubborn, and he doubted that he could pry Celestine away from him right now even if he wanted to. He raised his hand a little to rub Celestine's head gently before he glanced back to Nero again and then put his arm back around Celestine's shoulders again. He glanced over to Hikari for a moment and then groaned softly. "...Bet...Gramps is...going to...love this...." he muttered quietly. He finally started to try to move forward, letting Celestine cling to his side and try to hold him up, though he had a feeling that if he collapsed he'd just take Celestine down with him. Celestine wasn't all that well balanced as it was right now.

Celestine sighed softly when Nero told Kanone not to fight him and was relieved when Kanone agreed to let him help. He leaned his head into Kanone's hand when he started to rub his head and then held him a little more closely when he groaned. He thought he was hurting again for a second, but he guessed he was just a little worried about what Marius was going to think about the. He hadn't even heard Hikari at first, but he did catch her going ahead. He looked back up to Nero and then back to Kanone again when he started trying to move and just started to move with him, mirroring Kanone's footsteps. "Be careful, Kanone..." he said quietly. He did indeed stay practically glued to Kanone's side now that he was trying to move. He kind of hoped Nero stayed close by, just in case he couldn't hold him up. After a few steps he looked up again, relieved to see his grandfather already. He couldn't think of a time he'd been happier to see him. He knew that he couldn't go attaching himself to Marius for a while; after all, Kanone needed attention more than he did right now after being hurt as bad as he was. He didn't even think that he was going to be able to stand being in the house all night.

Marius would have offered her another smile and ask why he would have turned her away when she came. After all, it wasn't often that he would get a chance to see her, and he did enjoy her company. Unfortunately, he was a little preoccupied by the group. He side glanced at Levana when she stepped off of the porch and rather quickly stepped off after her. "...Yes, I believe so..." he said quietly, sounding worried. He could make Hikari out of the group easily as she almost lowed silver in the moonlight as she came up the beach. He glanced back to Levana again briefly and then looked back toward the others again. Well, he could see that at least two members of the party were being carried, one of which he assumed was Aamori. He finally found his grandsons and then took a step forward and stopped. It looked like they were all coming this way anyway. As soon as Hikari was within ear shot he moved another couple of steps forward. "Is everyone alright?" he asked quickly.

Hikari looked up to Marius again and then nodded. "For the most part, we'll live... Kanone is hurt pretty badly, we need somewhere to stop where I can heal him. Is it alright if we stay with you tonight?"

"I...I don't mind..." he said before he glanced back to Levana a little unsurely. After all, it wasn't exactly his house, so he couldn't really say for sure.

Aamori immediately looked up at Hikari once she had picked her up. She stared at her face for a moment looking for some sign that the wound on her leg had bothered her this time like it did last time. She lowered her eyes finally once Hikari had started walking. She glanced ahead briefly to look where they were going. As they neared closer and she could clearly see who was with Marius she lowered her eyes all together. Of all of the people it could be, Lady Levana wasn't who she was expecting to see. She didn't really even expect someone else to be with Marius, but if it had to be someone it was most likely to Lady Levana she guessed. Right about now she kind of wanted to disappear or maybe even be invisible at the very least. She hated the idea of Levana finding out that she, a water dragon and an elder in training, had drowned. She sighed quietly and leaned her head against Hikari.

Kyran wasted very little time getting his feet moving once Hikari had started to head over to the house. He wasn't but a couple feet behind her and quite honestly, eager to put Nanashi down somewhere for good for the night. While he was walking he glanced back once just to make sure that his shadow was still following him. Of course LaRae hadn't been but a couple feet behind him as well.

Nero waited patiently for Kanone and Celestine to start following after the others. He had no intention of leaving Celestine to keep an eye on Kanone all by himself. Celestine was the smallest out of everyone and he had very little faith in his ability to hold up that much dead weight if he had to. After all, it was only a matter of time before Kanone wound up too tired to move a single muscle. Once the two of them got going he started to follow after them. He kept a couple feet of distance between them but if Kanone did go down it wouldn't take very much at all for him to get over there.

Levana still hadn't let go of the fabric of her skirt, at least not until after Hikari had gotten close enough that she could clearly see her and Aamori. She slowly unclasped her hands from the fabric of her skirt and stared over at Aamori, obviously concerned. She continued to stand where she was rather quietly at least until Marius had looked back at her. "Of course!" She said quickly. "...I don't think everyone will fit comfortably in this house, but the other two are open too." She paused. "You all are more than welcome to divide yourselves between the houses until everyone is feeling better." She told her.

Nobu finally started to get up from the sand once everyone had started towards the house. After he was on his feet he stretched a little and then looked over at Esen briefly before he inched closer to where she had dropped the blades and reached down to take the strap in his mouth before he started over towards the house himself. He took his time walking, in no real hurry to rush over there. It wasn't like the house was going anywhere.

Hikari glanced over to the other woman and then nodded her head, "Thank you very much, Lady." She didn't know her name, but she was almost certain that this woman was the current water clan elder. After a moment she shifted Aamori's weight a little and then glanced down to her again. "Where do you want to stay?" she asked simply. She was plenty ready to set her down somewhere and get to Kanone so she could get off her leg for a while. She was pretty certain that Kanone and Celestine would be staying in this house with their grandpa, and she had a feeling that she would probably about fall out wherever she was once she was finished with Kanone, depending on the extent of his internal damage.

Marius sighed softly in relief when Levana gave them all permission to stay and then looked back to Hikari again, finally getting around to looking her and Aamori over. Aamori didn't seem badly hurt, at least not so far as blood went. He blinked when he noticed the blood running down Hikari's thigh, though Kanone's shirt made seeing where it came from at this angle difficult. His eyes then trailed past her to Kyran and Nanashi and he shook his head slightly, "What happened to all of you?" He sounded concerned already, though the question didn't really sound like one that he was looking for an immediate answer. Nanashi really didn't look well at all to him; frankly he looked nearly bled out, though he couldn't see any major wounds on him. He almost hated to see what shape Kanone was in right now even though he was obviously searching past Kyran for the rest of the group.

Hikari looked back to Marius briefly and then shook her head slightly in response to his question which he apparently hadn't really been directing at anyone in particular. "Later..." she said gently. It was kind of long story and she didn't want to hold Aamori while she got into it.

Kanone was still having a hard time maneuvering his way up the beach. He could barely even breathe through the pain, and he could feel the blood gathering again. By the time they had caught up with the others, he was nearly ready to collapse. Slowly, he raised his eyes to look at Marius for a moment and then ducked his head again quickly as he threw his hand up to his mouth just before he gagged and started coughing again. The cough caused him to just completely crumple in pain and he collapsed onto his knees again, dragging Celestine down with him.

Celestine was doing well to hang on to Kanone and keep pace with him, though once they pulled up near Kyran and he started to cough again he had a little more trouble keeping a hold of him, at least until his legs gave out. The weight of Kanone on top of the excess water weight caused his legs to just fold under him and he found himself suddenly sitting in the sand beside Kanone, his arms still around him. His ears laid back as he listened to Kanone struggling to breathe between coughs and then he looked up to Hikari, his gaze filled with both worry and panic. He hoped that she could help him...and soon. From the sound of it, breathing at all was getting to be more than Kanone could stand to do and that...wasn't good. He felt Kanone leaning against him a little more heavily and then turned his attention back to him again, gently rubbing his back while he tried to catch his breath and wiped the blood on his knee.

Marius hurried forward when Kanone got close enough to see what shape he was in and then knelt in front of him when he collapsed. His eyes were wide with worry and his ears laid back slightly. He didn't like the sight of all of the blood on Kanone's face or the fact that he was apparently coughing it up. He glanced to Celestine briefly, relieved to see that he didn't appear to be hurt, and then turned his attention back to Kanone as he raised his hand to rest against the side of his face.

Kanone cracked his eyes open again for a moment after he'd leaned on Celestine for support and cleaned off his hand, only because he felt a larger hand than Celestine's on his face. He stared at Marius' worried expression for a moment and then forced up a weak smile. "...H-hey...Gramps..." he gasped out quietly, giving him his usual greeting. He didn't want to worry the poor old guy, especially since they'd brought him here for vacation after everything that he'd had to put up with before.

Esen simply stood and watched as the others started to head back up the beach, though she didn't move until Nobu had gotten up and started to head that way himself. She wasn't really looking forward to being around any more people today, so like him, she was in no hurry, and actually stayed a few paces behind him while he walked. She whined softly when she heard Kanone coughing again. Out of the dragons as far as how well she liked them, Kanone was probably second only to Celestine.

Aamori lifted her head a little when she heard Hikari's question. She'd seen the inside of these houses before so she knew how many rooms there were in each house. Based off that knowledge she'd thought it might be better for her to stay in one of the other houses, maybe. She wasn't going to say that to Hikari right now though. She knew Kanone needed to be looked at and that was a little more important than where she was staying. "Right here is alright for now." She paused. "If you could just put me on my feet..." She said quietly. She wasn't about to get down herself. She knew she could probably shimmy right out Hikari's hands but she'd likely end up with her face in the sand.

Levana looked over at the girl carrying Aamori and smiled weakly. "You can call me Levana." She said before glancing around at the others while they approached. So far she recognized all but three of them, perhaps. The light dragon of course, then the thunder and dark dragons. For now though, that didn't really matter. She watched when Marius hurried over to his grandson's side. Of course even now she was wondering what had happened to them all. She hadn't been aware of anything in Kairava more dangerous than the giant sharks and maybe hunters when they dared to come here. She stood where she was a moment longer and then reached down to gather her skirt again before turning and going back up the steps quickly. She released her skirt once she reached the french doors and pushed them both open wide so that it would be easier to carry people inside. She turned slightly once she had stepped off to the side of the doors and looked back on the beach. "Come on, lets get inside." She told them. The lot of them looked like they needed to be cleaned up as well as tended to medically. Thankfully the houses did had baths in them and the dressers usually had simple pajamas in them at least.

Kyran stood quietly where he was and looked over at the woman who apparently had been here with Marius. He noted her name when she told Hikari what it was and then shifted his attention to Marius once he started over to Kanone and Celestine. At this point he kind of wished he had more arms or something, or maybe two of himself. He wanted to do something to help Kanone but couldn't at this point with his hands full. His attention shifted again when he heard Levana tell them to get inside. He was more than ready for that invitation. The sooner he put Nanashi down the better. He didn't bother waiting to see what Hikari was doing, or anyone else for that matter. He went straight for the stairs and carefully started up them. He continued through the open doors just past Levana and then paused and turned slightly to look at her. "...Um... where exactly can I put him down?" He asked since he wasn't sure himself. He knew he wanted to put Nanashi in a bed but he had no idea where any of them were.

Levana watched the thunder dragon as he headed up the stairs with Nanashi in his arms. She sighed quietly after seeing him. Maybe it was better that the second time seeing him he didn't appear to be conscious. The first time she met him he passed out on her. She started to turn her head back to look outside again but paused when she heard the thunder dragons question. "Oh! Of course." She paused and moved over to the first door on the left. She wasn't entirely sure which room Marius had claimed for himself but she guessed if someone else accidentally took it he wouldn't complain about it too much. She pushed the door open and stepped inside moving over to the night stand to turn on the bedside lamp. "In here should be fine." She said as she glanced back to the door, only to see that he was already carrying Nanashi inside.

Kyran followed after Levana and waited until she had the one light turned on before stepping further into the room. He walked around to the other side of the bed, opposite of where Levana had been to turn the light on and then started to lean down to set Nanashi on the bed. He winced as he started to straighten himself up. Once he was upright he eyed Nanashi for a moment and then let out a heavy sigh as he bent over again, gritting his teeth in the process. He gently rolled Nanashi onto his stomach while in the process being careful as he removed the holster from his back. He couldn't very well leave the weapon on Nanashi's back and he didn't want to leave LaRae to have to get it off of him. He moved for a moment and leaned the holster against the opposite side of the nightstand before returning to Nanashi to roll him back onto his back. "...I apologize, the linens are likely going to get really bad stains..." He said quietly. Nanashi was pretty dirty with dried blood and at this point he wasn't willing to bathe Nanashi again so the linens were going to suffer.

Levana watched quietly for a moment while he removed the weapon and holster from Nanashi's back. She started to head over to the door just about the time she heard him speak. She looked back at him and shook her head a little. "It's alright. They can be cleaned and or replaced if need be." She assured him. "I'm really not worried about them." She said with a slight smile. She was finding it almost difficult to smile in this situation. She had no idea what had happened and they were in such rough shape. She sighed quietly and slipped through the door, passing LaRae on her way back to the front door. Just like before that earth dragon girl wasn't very far from Nanashi.

LaRae followed after Kyran as usual. She barely paid any attention to what was going on with everyone else. Mostly because she knew that there wasn't anything that she could do, and then of course because she didn't want to be far from Nanashi. Besides it wasn't going to hurt anything for her to be more concerned with Nanashi and his well being, especially now that they weren't in any real danger. She hung outside the door while Kyran was putting Nanashi on the bed. She waited patiently for Levana to leave before she slipped inside. The room was surprisingly large, considering the size of house she guessed it wasn't really a surprise to see a big room. She inched closer to the free side of the bed and looked over at Kyran. "...Thank you for carrying him." She said quietly as she reached over to the nightstand to set her leather arm band down.

Nero kept a decent distance behind Kanone and Celestine, all the while keeping a close eye on them. He came to a stop moments after they had and then he shook his head when he saw them both go down. Somehow he had a feeling that it would have been better to just lug Kanone up the beach to the house rather than let him walk himself but he knew he couldn't carry Kanone properly with his arm the way it was and the tooth still lodged in his leg. Then Kyran, he had his hands with Nanashi. There just weren't any other choices at the moment. He sighed heavily and proceeded to step closer after Marius had knelt down in front of Kanone. He stared down at Kanone and then glanced back towards the house. "I thought I told you that you couldn't rest yet, Kanone." He paused. "I'm pretty sure that sand doesn't look like a bed." He knew Kanone was tired and that he was in pain but letting him have a break now would make it impossible for him to get himself moving any further. His whole body would want to shut down and call it quits. "C'mon, lets get up. It's only a little further and then you can have Hikari be your nurse for a little bit while she tends to those ribs of yours." He told him as he reached down with his good hand to hook it under Kanone's arm, opposite of Celestine so that he could at least help Kanone get to his feet a little easier. If nothing else he could always drag him to his feet.

Nobu glanced back to Esen briefly when he heard her whine and then looked over at Kanone and Celestine, seeing the shape Kanone was in. 'Don't worry, Hikari will take care of him just fine.' He told her before continuing over to the house without another stop. Rather than head up the stairs and into the house he passed the stairs and slipped under it. The house was on high enough beams that he had no real trouble getting beneath it and besides, so long as he was under the house he was well out of everyone elses way. He moved closer towards the center and dropped the blades in the sand before taking another couple steps and then laying down, resting his head on his paws. His head was still bothering him but thankfully it was nothing more than an annoying twinge here and there.

Hikari nodded to Levana again when she gave her name and then glanced back behind her quickly. She was a little startled when Kanone managed to catch up to them and then broke down into a coughing fit. She stared at him for a moment and then looked back to Aamori and nodded quickly before she started move a little closer to the stairs to set her on her feet carefully. She knelt a little and then lowered her arm to let Aamori's feet come to a rest on the sand and then moved her arm up a little to wrap around her shoulders to help her stand. She glanced up to the stairs when she noticed Kyran moving past her and up the stairs. "Be careful," she said gently as she slowly lowered her arm, "try not to fall." She only moved her over there so that she could hold onto the railing instead of her now. Once she was fairly satisfied that Aamori was going to be able to stay on her own feet she started to turn around so she could check on the others again, though she didn't move away from her just yet.

Nanashi still hadn't moved much at all of his own accord except for his breathing since he had passed out on the other island. He was pretty much completely exhausted already, in spite of having barely done anything. Even when he was laid on the bed there still wasn't much of a response to the action; he was little more than a heavy rag doll at the moment. Being turned on his stomach made breathing a little more difficult for the time being, and once he was laying on his back again he coughed softly, though he still didn't open his eyes.

Kanone looked up to Nero slowly when he started on him again and then groaned softly and closed his eyes before he dropped his head, obviously entirely disinterested in getting back up. He was beat, he didn't even care if he slept out here in the sand tonight. He groaned again when he felt Nero pulling on his arm and looked up at him again, looking almost irritated. "...G...give me a break...." he muttered softly as he tried to push himself up again. He was still trembling all over when he tried to push himself up. His body was worn out and there was no telling how much blood he'd lost that he hadn't coughed up already. He gasped quietly once he was on his feet again and nearly collapsed right back to the ground again were it not for being surrounded, though Nero and Marius seemed to be doing the better job of holding him up.

Marius stood up again when Nero came over to Kanone and started trying to help him up, though as soon as he saw the way that Kanone was about to fall he moved closer and then put an arm around him. He wasn't concerned about getting a bit of blood on his robes, he just didn't want Kanone to fall on Celestine or something and hurt them both. "Here, Celestine, I'll help him." he said gently, shooing Celestine a little out of the way so that he could take his place. He wrapped his arm around his back and then pulled his arm around his shoulders. He glanced over to Nero and gave him a slight nod before he started to help Kanone toward the stairs. He just hoped that he didn't have too much trouble getting up the steps.

Celestine still remained very close to Kanone's side while he tried to get up and helped him up as much as possible, though Kanone's legs were shaking badly beneath him. He gasped when he felt him falling again and almost went with him. He was relieved when Marius helped to catch him, though he seemed reluctant to move away from Kanone's side. Once Marius wormed his way in there he just stood a few steps behind Kanone and Marius and then looked over to Nero got a moment before he started to take a few timid steps after Marius and Kanone, though he fell back a moment later and just stood there looking worried and a little lost. He didn't really know what he could do to help not. After all, he was probably one of the most physically weak males in the group as well as being the smallest, and there wasn't much that he could do if Kanone fell except act as a cushion. He sighed softly and then lowered his eyes and bit his lower lip lightly. He wanted to help everyone somehow, but like before, he was turning up a bit useless.

Esen whined again softly when Nobu said that Hikari would take care of Kanone. Well, she certainly hoped so at any rate. She paused for a moment when he went toward the stairs and then followed him, glad he had a decent place to hide. She ducked her head as she moved along the sand not far from Nobu and simply watched as he laid down the blades and got comfortable. After a few seconds she moved closer and then laid down right beside him, though she turned her head to rest her head on the back of Nobu's neck and whimpered softly as she nuzzled into his damp, bushy fur and got comfortable. She licked her chops once and then curled her mass for fluffy tails up around her body and sighed. Apparently if she couldn't glue herself to Celestine, Nobu was the next best thing to her.

Aamori waited until her feet were on the ground and Hikari had all but removed the one arm from her shoulders. She glanced down at the sand briefly and then started to move her hands to reach for the railing. She was doing pretty good keeping herself standing at least but she was tired and she knew her legs weren't as strong as they could be right now. Once she was latched onto the railing she glanced back over at Hikari and nodded her head a little. "...I will." She responded quietly to her saying 'be careful'. "...Thank you, Hikari." She added before turning her attention to the stairs. If anything she at least wanted to get onto the porch and out of the way. That much on ones own couldn't be that difficult. She used the railing to help herself get up all but the last stair. Once she reached the last step she didn't lift her foot high enough to clear the step and started to tumble forward.

Levana had been waiting at the front door for the others after she saw the young man inside who was carrying Nanashi. She kept an eye on Aamori after Hikari had put her on her feet near the stairs, though her attention kept shifting to Marius and his grandson who appeared to be the worst off of the bunch. Or at the very least he was right this moment. Her eyes darted back to Aamori when she saw her near the top of the steps and she quickly took a few steps forward and threw her arms out to catch Aamori by the shoulders before she actually hit the porch. She sighed softly and stood Aamori upright before helping her up the last step. "Are you alright Aamori, dear?" She paused. "You look awfully tired..." She commented quietly. "Maybe we should get you inside too." She added quietly after giving her another once over.

Aamori gasped quietly when she thought she was going to hit the porch. She'd tried to hold onto the railing but that didn't seem to help very much. She was already clumsy to begin with and being as tired as she was really wasn't helping that at all. She startled a little when she felt someone grab her and keep her from falling. Once she was upright again and clear of the stars she looked up at Levana and sighed quietly. "...Thanks. I'm.. alright." She mumbled. She started to shake her head a little when she heard Levana say that she should get inside too. "...No, out here is fine for now." She said as she lifted her hand and pointed over at the porch swing. She didn't really want to go inside and she didn't exactly want to be too comfortable. She'd wind up asleep if that happened.

Levana stared at Aamori for a moment and then watched her hand when she pointed towards the porch swing. "Oh, alright. For a little bit I guess." She said quietly as she started to help Aamori closer to the swing. It wasn't going to hurt anything to let her sit out here on the swing at least until things quieted down and right now she wasn't really going to waste time insisting that she go inside. She wanted to be available if she was needed for anything. She aided Aamori until she was safely seated on the swing and then started to turn back towards the steps. "I doubt you'll move but don't try to go anywhere... that swing is a little higher off the porch than it looks and we don't need you hurting yourself trying to get down." She was well aware of how clumsy Aamori was and she could easily see Aamori trying to step down from the swing, miss her footing and smack her head into the railing because the swing bumped into her.

Kyran lifted his eyes and looked over at LaRae as she set her wrist cuff on the nightstand. "You don't have to thank me." He told her quietly as he looked back down at Nanashi. He was just glad that he could help, especially in the state of pain he was in at the moment. Carrying Nanashi like that certainly hadn't helped his back any, but he wasn't going to complain about it. He lifted his eyes from Nanashi and looked at LaRae again before he started to round the bed and head towards the door. "So long as he's breathing alright, just let him rest." He paused, thinking that much was self explanatory. "Someone will check on him in the morning, maybe." He told her with a slight nod. He'd try to check on him at least. If he could get himself out of a bed that is. He slipped out the door and headed back towards the front door just in case he was needed.

LaRae stared over at Kyran and nodded her head weakly when he said she didn't need to thank him. She continued to stand there until Kyran had started to head out of the room. She watched him leave and then sighed softly as she looked back over at Nanashi. She couldn't help thinking he'd have been better off staying back at the training building. At least there he wouldn't have gotten hurt as badly as he had today. She sat down gently on the empty side of the bed and started to lean over to untie her boots. She froze for a moment when she noticed that her left arm didn't quite have the range of motion that it should. She'd nearly forgotten that it had been broken, or that she'd broken a small piece of the cast and cracked it even. She sighed heavily and tried to ignore it as she used her right hand alone to untie her boots and then kick them off. She stared down at her arm after her boots were off and sighed heavily before she lifted her right hand to the cast to see if it'd come off. She was sure that close to enough time had probably passed that it'd be nearly ready to come off, or so she hoped. She was a bit surprised to find that the cast was still rather hard, almost like rock. It certainly didn't appear to have any give to it and oddly enough that worried her a little. Then again maybe it was too soon for it to come off and that's why it was still hard.

Nero stared down at Kanone with an unwavering stern expression on his face. He completely understood the world of hurt Kanone was in right now but he knew even better that it'd be worse for him to stop moving right here in the sand. So of course he was going to seem like an ass at least until Kanone was safely placed into a bed where Hikari could tend to him a little easier. He shook his head lightly when he heard Kanone mutter to give him a break. Honestly... the guy would probably be more thankful in a bed rather than the sand once he wasn't in so much pain that he didn't care where in the world he dropped. He continued to try and help Kanone to his feet at least until Marius had taken over for Celestine. After Marius had him he removed his hand completely. He really wasn't in too good a shape to be helping someone that way right now but he would if no one else could. He followed after Marius on the other side of Kanone just as a safety precaution, especially once they got to the stairs. He had every intention of helping Marius get Kanone up the stairs and without too much trouble he hoped.

Hikari turned her gaze back to Aamori when she thanked her and started to move up the stairs. "You're welcome," she said quietly, though she glanced away again shortly, looking back to Kanone again. She turned back around quickly when she heard what she was pretty sure was Aamori tripping on the step and laid her ears back before she sighed in relief upon seeing Levana catch her. Finally she started to mount the steps as well, wanting to get out of the way of Marius, Kanone, and Nero before they came toward the stairs almost three wide. She sucked in her breath when she got to the second step and had to put all of her weight on her injured leg and then latched onto the railing tightly for a moment while she hoped up onto the next step to get off of her sore leg and then forced herself to mount the rest of the steps quickly. She groaned quietly to herself when she reached the top of the stairs and then moved to lean against the porch railing just off to the side of the stairs. She would let them get situated and then she would take care of Kanone's ribs, but right now she had a feeling she would be more in the way if she were to try to help them get him inside to the bed. For now she just tried to keep the pressure on the railing and her good leg and give her other leg a break for a minute or two.

Marius kept a firm grip on Kanone's as they walked, moving slowly and carefully toward the steps where he stopped momentarily. "Alright, Kanone, you're going to have to pick your feet up a little more," he said gently. Kanone had been kind of dragging his feet up to this point and he had a feeling if he tried that if he tried that right here that they would both wind up eating dirt. He waited for Kanone to get his foot up on the step and then moved up, pulling Kanone a little closer. He was probably supporting the good majority of Kanone's weight right now, though it didn't really seem to bother him too much as he was relatively fit for an older man who didn't seem to get out much. He managed to get Kanone up the steps without too much hassle until the last one. Apparently the last step was just hell for everyone. Kanone's foot caught on the edge of the step and Marius had to dart up the step ahead of him and grab onto him to keep him from planting his face in the wood. He sighed softly as he pulled Kanone up the last step and then wrapped his arms around him loosely and let him lean against him while he had another coughing spell. He felt the warm liquid come up on his robe, but he ignored it for now. Kanone hadn't gotten a chance to cover his mouth this time, unfortunately. He tried to make sure that the boy didn't lose his footing and end up on the ground this time around at least. After the coughs started to die down into gasps he rubbed his back gently and then started to slip back around to his side. "Almost there," he said quietly, "Come on, you can make it." He started moving again, guiding him forward carefully until they were back in the house and then he glanced around for a brief moment to see which room had already been claimed before he started to move toward the first room on the right. He looked at the door and then moved his hand away from Kanone's wrist to open the door and then started to lead him inside and over to the bed. He bend a little and allowed Kanone to sit down and then let him get comfortable.

Kanone just let Marius haul him around and tried to do as he was asked when he told him to raise his foot higher for the stairs. He wasn't really paying that much attention to the steps and found the hard way that there was one more step than he had anticipated. He gasped, sending a jolt of pain through his ribs in the process when he felt himself falling, and then came to rest against Marius's chest when he caught him and struggled to follow him up the last step before he broke down coughing again. His arms were pinned down by Marius's so he had little choice but to cough into Marius' chest. His chest felt like it was in flames, as did his throat by now after all of the coughing. He looked up to Marius desperately when he told them that they were almost there. God, he hoped so..he couldn't take much more of this moving around. When they finally for to the bed he sank down onto it gratefully and then just closed his eyes as he lowered himself down on his side and then rolled onto his back, completely ignoring his shoes. He didn't care about that or anything else really at the moment. As soon as his head was against the pillow he just tried to relax and breathe shallowly while hoping everyone was done pushing hims around for a little while. He didn't even feel like lifting his pinkie by now. Already he'd grown fairly pale, and there was obvious redness spreading from beneath the bandage from where he was bleeding on the interior. Not all of it had been coughed up at least. Thankfully, he wasn't bleeding too heavily apparently or he would have bleed out before they even got over here. Still, it wasn't a very good thing that Hikari would be able to get to him within the next couple of minutes.

Celestine watched as Marius and Kanone made their way up the stairs and his ears laid back as far as they could possibly go when he heard Kanone coughing again. Still, he didn't move from where he was standing. His eyes trailed briefly over to the porch swing to look at Aamori and then went right back to Kanone and Marius until they disappeared inside the house and then he simply stood there looking blankly at the door with a worried expression. He felt almost as helpless here as he did while clinging to Nero's back for dear life in the water. He didn't know what he could do or what he needed to do or what he was even expected to do. If given a direction he would certainly go in it, no questions asked right about now. He didn't even know if he should go sit down or not. The only thing that he knew for certain was that he didn't really want to be indoors.
