Aamori nodded her head weakly to Levana when she told her not to go anywhere. She didn't really have any intention of getting down from the swing right this moment, so she didn't have to worry. She leaned her arm down on the arm rest of the swing and closed her hand tightly around one of the chains that was holding the swing in the air above the porch. She turned her eyes towards the stairs long enough to watch Marius helping Kanone up them with Nero not too far behind. She still felt terrible, all things considered. Kanone had been in no shape to fish her out of the water and help preform CPR and yet he had, even with his injuries. Of course she couldn't help thinking that his injuries could have been less severe had he not had to save her. Easily enough this was reminding her of another not so pleasant time that she'd been the cause of someone getting hurt a lot worse than they probably could have.

Levana continued to stand on the porch just shy of the stairs. She cast her glance over to the light dragon while she was leaned against the railing. Though her attention quickly shifted back to Marius and Kanone once they had started to climb the stairs. Had it not been for the state that Kanone was in and the fact that Aamori was naturally clumsy she might have thought the stairs were out to get everyone. She stayed on the porch while Marius continued to help Kanone inside. Kanone was in such rough shape, she was kind of glad that at the very least Celestine seemed to have come back unscathed. She imagined it was hard enough seeing one of the two of them so bad off, she'd have hated for both of them to be that way at the same time. Speaking of Celestine... She turned slightly and looked out in front of the house after Marius and Kanone had disappeared from sight. She was a little surprised to see him just standing there like he was. He almost looked dazed. She sighed softly as she stepped over to the stairs, pausing just in front of them. "Celestine, you don't have to stand there like a lump." She told him. "...If you don't want to come inside you can at the very least come up on the porch and sit down." She paused. "It won't hurt any for you and everyone else to try and relax a little. We'll see to it that everyone is taken care of." She tried to assure him. She wasn't really sure what was making him stand there like he was but if it had anything to do with the state the group was in right now she wanted to make sure he knew that she'd make sure everyone got the medical treatment they needed. After all she was the water clan Elder, she could have the best medical team here in an instant if she wanted. Not to mention she knew a little in the healing arts. Her knowledge was severely lacking but she had the energy to do great things if she tried but there really just wasn't time for her to learn very much other than what she already knew. Which was why her repertoire in the healing art was lacking.

Kyran hung close to the inside of the front door until Marius and Kanone had reached the top of the stairs. After Marius had moved around to catch Kanone before he could plaster his face all over the porch he had decided it was better that he moved out of the way. He stepped further into the house. Seeing as he wasn't needed for anything at the moment it wasn't going to hurt anything for him to sit down. He headed for the dinning room table and slid a chair out so that he could sit down. Even just the motion of sitting down in the chair sent a wave of pain through his back. He groaned quietly and hunched over so that he was leaning on the table, resting his head against his arms. As soon as he got the chance he wanted to find a bath, he was already thinking a soak in warm water would do him some good.

Nero stayed on the opposite side of Kanone at least until they reached the stairs. At that point he fell behind just on the off chance that Kanone wound up tumbling back instead of making it up the stairs. He was relieved that Marius had been able to prevent Kanone from hitting the porch after the last step. He stayed on the last couple steps until after Marius had gotten Kanone moving again. He followed after them, pausing briefly to see if Celestine was following or not. He had kind of thought Celestine would be right behind him so he was a little surprised to see that he wasn't and that he was just standing there in the sand. He sighed quietly and continued into the house anyway, pausing at the door Marius had taken Kanone in. He loomed by the door long enough to see that Marius had successfully gotten him into the bed on his own. Once Kanone was down he continued a little further into the house. He headed over to the dinning room table himself, quite ready to sit down for a few minutes. He pulled out a chair and sat down, leaning his good arm to the table as he looked over the bad one. At least it wasn't bleeding any more. Though, now that he wasn't standing on his leg or needing to walk anywhere the pain was starting to become all the more evident. He really did need to pull that tooth out.

LaRae lifted her eyes from her cast for a moment when she heard others coming inside. She hadn't shut the door so she had a pretty clear view of Marius helping Kanone into the room across from the one she and Nanashi were in. She really did hope that Hikari was able to help him. Kanone wasn't looking very well. She sighed quietly and watched Nero for a moment until he had gone further into the house. She turned slightly on the bed and glanced back at Nanashi. She finally stood up from the bed and started around to his side. She paused near his feet and reached over to his boots, one at a time with her right hand and started unlacing them so that they could be removed. At times like this she really felt she took for granted that she had two hands. It was so much easier to do things like this with use of both hands and here she only had the one. After a short struggle she did manage to get both of his boots off. She walked them over to set them beside the holster that Kyran had removed just earlier. She moved back over to the side of the bed after putting his boots down. She stared at him for a moment and then sighed quietly. She really hoped that he recovered quickly. She really did hate to see him in any state that wasn't good health. Now that she was getting a good look at him he really did look like he could stand to be cleaned up a little.

Celestine glanced over to Levana without moving anything but his eyes when she spoke to him, nor did he make any verbal response. Once she finished speaking he sighed softly and then lowered his eyes, nodding his head once before he started to move slowly toward the steps. He placed his hand lightly on the rail and then mounted the stairs in no obvious hurry to get up them. Once he reached the top he glanced toward the open doors as if pondering going inside and then sighed softly and looked up to Levana before his eyes trailed by her to Aamori. He glanced away again and then moved over to the porch rail and crossed his arms over it before he sighed and leaned his head down to rest on top of his chilly arms while he stared blankly out over the beach. He half wanted to go cling to Kanone or Marius but he knew that Kanone wasn't int he shape and Marius probably wasn't in the mood. After all, pretty much everyone was kind of busy right now. He was fine just standing out here out of everyone's way. He would have gone to sit with Aamori, but...he wasn't so sure she'd want him sitting that close to her after earlier.

Hikari waited barely half a minute after Nero had passed through the doorway before she pushed herself away from the railing and started to move toward the door. She sucked in her breath when she put her weight back on her leg, almost regretting taking it off in the first place. She glanced back for just a moment when she heard Levana address Celestine and then looked off the porch to see him still standing right where he had been left. She sighed softly and then closed her eyes for a moment before she started back into the house again and glanced into each of the open doorways until she noticed Marius standing by one of the beds. She was pretty sure that Kanone would be in that one so she headed into the room and sighed softly as she looked down at him and then back to Marius again who was already busy untying his boots and setting them at the foot of the bed. She gave him a slight nod and then then moved closer to the side of the bed and sat down where there was an open space and then glanced down to his bandages. After a moment she blinked when she realized that he had just laid down on Celestine's swallow then then shook her head. She felt around for a moment and then found the area where the straps attached and reached to unlatch one of them before she tossed the strap over his shoulder and then took a hold of the weapon, turning it horizontally behind him before she stood up again and started to slide the weapon beneath him until she got it to his knees where she could easily slip it out from under him while Marius held up his legs for her. Once she had it free she moved to set it against the wall before she went back to sit beside him again and started to untie his bandages. "That's probably not a good thing to sleep on," she said lightly, only to get an unintelligible grumble in response.

Marius looked up at Hikari when she entered the room behind him and then sighed as he finished tugging off Kanone's boots once he managed to get all of the knots out of the laces. That boy seemed to think it was a crime for his boot to be able to come untied. Once he'd set the boots aside he looked back to her again, seeing that she had noticed one thing he and Kanone seemed to have forgotten about. He lifted Kanone's legs up once she got the swallow shimmied down enough that she could slide it out without cutting anything and then laid his legs back on the mattress. Once that was taken care of he looked back to Hikari again while she was busy untying Kanone's bandages and then sighed and moved a little closer. "Do you need anything?" he asked quietly.

"No...we'll be fine," she assured him as she looked up to him with a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, I'll take care of him."

Kanone groaned quietly while Hikari fiddled around with the bandages and finally cracked his eyes open again to look at her before he looked over to Marius again and smiled weakly. "...Why...don't you...go...hover...over someone else... for a while? I'll come...bug you...when I...wake up..."

Marius looked at Kanone and then smiled weakly at him and shook his head slightly. "...I'll come back in a little bit. You're an absolute mess..." He could at least get something to clean the blood away from Kanone's face with, but he would let Hikari get his wounds taken care of first. After a moment he sighed and turned to the door to go wait or...find something else to do for a few minutes. His eyes wander briefly to his robe and he sighed softly when he noticed the rather large splotch of blood there. Well, at least he had clean clothes, though he saw little point in changing right now. Once he was outside the bedroom he just sighed and leaned his back against the wall while he closed his eyes and rested his head against the wall for a few moments.

Aamori sat quietly where she was and didn't even think about getting down from the porch swing. Her mind was no where near that idea and frankly her mind probably wasn't where it needed to be. She barely lifted her eyes to look over at Celestine once he had come up onto the porch. She only looked at him from the corner of the eye for a moment, barely even registering that she had actually looked over at him. She turned her eyes out over the beach and absently lifted her free hand to touch the relic and make sure that it was still intact against her chest.

Levana watched Celestine as he climbed up the stairs and then wound up leaning against the porch railing. She sighed softly and continued to look at him for a moment before she glanced inside. She really did want to go in and check on how everyone was and offer some assistance if she could but she didn't want to leave Aamori unattended, even if she was just on the porch. She looked back over at Celestine and smiled slightly. "Celestine, do you think you can do me a favor and keep an eye on her?" She asked while pointing over at Aamori. She had assumed that he wasn't going to go inside since he'd chosen to stand on the porch and he looked like he could probably use something to do.

Kyran lifted his head slightly when he heard someone else pulling out a chair near him. He stared at Nero for a moment, eying his left arm which just so happened to be the one that had been cut up when he blocked that attack. He didn't say anything to him and after a moment he lowered his head back down onto his arms with a quiet sigh. He wondered briefly if there was ever going to be an easy time of getting one of these relics. So far it looked like it was inevitable, they were going to come back from these outings a lot worse than they were when they went in. This time in particular was terrible. Not everyone was actually involved in the fighting and yet they all still came out with injuries.

Nero looked over at Kyran when he noticed him lift his head. He stared at him for a moment before he dropped his eyes back down to his arm. He knew he'd need to clean that up but for right now he was more concerned with his leg. He leaned down and started to untie his boot and un-tuck the bottom of his pant leg from the boot. He then moved his hand to the tooth in his leg and tried to press on it a little to see if it had any give to it. He wasn't surprised to see that it still wasn't moving. Well he hadn't really tried that hard to move it, even still. He sighed heavily and glanced over to Kyran for a moment. He was half tempted to ask him if he wouldn't mind trying to remove the tooth. The sooner the tooth was out the faster the pain would subside and he could start feeling some relief. He wasn't so sure he really wanted to ask for help though.

LaRae glanced around the room a little taking notice to the other door that was in the room. It was just down a bit from the nightstand where Nanashi's things were propped up. She was a little curious since the door didn't look like a closet door, but a door into another room. It was kind of nice having a bathroom attached to the bedroom, or at least she thought so since they'd been staying in a room in the training building that had a small bathroom attached. She inched closer to the door and started to open it. After she opened the door she stepped in and turned on a light. She wasn't surprised to see a bathroom but she was a little surprised by the size of it. Then again the house itself was large it wasn't that weird seeing a bathroom the size to match. She glanced around a little and couldn't help but stare at the bath. It was in the floor and easily big enough for at least two people, then on top of that it was shaped like a shell. That certainly beat what she was used to. She finally pried her eyes off the bath and started over to the sink which oddly enough held the same shape as the bath. She reached over to grab one of the wash cloths that was rolled up in a basket on the counter. After she unrolled it she set it down on the edge of the sink while she turned the water on. She soaked the cloth and then shut the water off and did her best to wring out the excess water before returning to the bedroom with the intention of trying to clean Nanashi up a little.

Celestine turned his head slightly when Levana spoke to him again and then followed her finger with his eyes before he saw that she was pointing to Aamori. "Uh...mmm..." he muttered quietly in response as he nodded. He didn't know what exactly she would need an eye kept on her for, but with Aamori one could never really tell. He looked back to Levana again and then turned around to lean his back against the railing while he crossed his arms. His hair blew off to the side as the wind picked up momentarily and blew under the porch, sending shivers through his body. It was already chilly out here by the ocean at night, so being wet really didn't help his case at all. He glanced over to Aamori again and sighed softly when he saw her fiddling around with the relic again. He finally stood away from the railing and moved a little closer to the swing, debating on sitting down, though he apparently decided against it for the moment and just stood against the rail there with his arms crossed tightly over his chest.

Marius only remained next to the wall for a few moments before he pushed away and started to move back toward the center of the house. He glanced over to Kyran and Nero and then sighed softly, "Seems you've all had a rough day," he said in his usual gentle tone as he moved closer. He turned his gaze down to Nero, looking over his arm and then noticed the leg that he was messing with. He moved closer without a word and then knelt down to examine the tooth in his leg. He couldn't believe he'd been walking around light that all of this time and it did look rather painful. He didn't even bother to ask if Nero was having trouble getting it out, he was pretty sure that it wouldn't still he in there if he was able to get it out. "Do you need some help with that?" he offered simply, though he made no move to touch it, obviously waiting for permission. After all, he could be wrong about Nero not being able to get it out himself.

Hikari kept her focus on removing the bandage from Kanone while he lay there, barely offering to move at all. Once she got it off she could already see the bruising around the area that was probably going to be there for a while. Finally, once she'd gotten all of the bandages off she set to work, laying her hand over the broken rib. This one was going to be a little more tricky than the one that she had fixed for Nero...this one was higher up and was going to need to be replaced correctly. She had a good idea of how to do this at least, though it still made her nervous to mess with. She closed her eyes and then started to mutter softly while the aura surrounded her hand and seeped into Kanone's body. She had to kind of just envision what she was trying to do and focused her energy to attach to the rib while she pulled her hand back slowly, dragging the rib back into place before she actually began mending the bone. For now, she healed it only enough to hold in place so long as nothing bumped it too hard before she began working on the internal injury. She poured her healing energy into the area until she couldn't feel any being used by the flesh anymore before she went back to concentrating on healing the bone. This was the harder part, and excessively tiresome. She could feel the energy draining from her, but she was trying her best to finish this before anything. After all, Marius was clearly worried for Kanone, and she was the only one in the immediate area who knew how to fix bone as far as she knew. The last thing that she wanted was to leave it half-assed and have him break it again so she had to start all over again. Minutes passed and she was very close to being finished, just a little more and she could go to bed, but unfortunately she didn't have the energy to reach that last stretch. The aura faded from her hands and she felt herself falling, though she barely even had the strength left to open her eyes, let alone catch herself. She collapsed sideways onto the edge of the bed and then bounced slightly before she simply fell off the side, hitting the flood with a heavy thud. There was a loud snap when she hit the floor on her back and her bow string suddenly had a lot more lack over her chest. She didn't move at all after she had hit the floor, and she was only vaguely aware of the pain in her head, she was only aware of her need for air and the deep, shallow breaths that she was taking to satisfy her tired body.

Kanone just lay there silently, letting Hikari do what ever she needed. He sucked in his breath and then whined while she was moving his rib. He could almost feel the blood pouring when it was pulled back and then he relaxed a little once it had stopped moving. After that things weren't quite as bad. It still hurt while she was healing his rib, but not unbearably. He opened his eyes again when he felt the bed bounce and then heard a thud on the floor. He blinked and then tried to sit up a little on the bed. "...H...Hikari...?"

Levana continued to stand where she was for a moment, at least until she got a response out of Celestine. She turned and started to head into the house so that she could check on the others and see how Marius was doing.

Aamori lifted her eyes slightly and glanced over at Celestine when she noticed that he had moved closer. She lowered her hand from the relic and let it rest in her lap. She looked around for a moment only now noticing that even Levana had already gone inside. Her eyes trailed back over to Celestine and she stared over at him momentarily and seriously thought about getting up to go stand beside him. She shifted slightly and let go of the chain that she had been holding onto. She started to lean forward a little like she was going to get off the porch swing and quickly decided it would probably be better to just stay seated but before she knew it she'd already leaned forward enough that she'd slipped off the swing. Her feet hit the porch one at a time and she wobbled instantly. She started to take a step forward towards the railing and got smacked in the back of the legs in the process which made her stumble forward quickly toward the railing.

Nero looked up from his leg when he heard Marius. A rough day? Rough almost seemed like it didn't quite cover today. He sighed quietly when Marius knelt down, obviously having noticed the tooth that was still lodged in his leg. He wanted the tooth out but having to have someone else remove it was a little embarrassing to him. After all, it was just a tooth. He looked at Marius and then eyed the tooth for a moment before nodding his head weakly. "...Unfortunately. My good arm is a little cut up at the moment so removing the tooth... well.. it's kind of hard since it's jammed in there like it is." He said quietly. Since the tooth was still in his leg, pinning his pants in place he hadn't gotten a chance to look at the rest of his leg. He was certain that there were other holes in his leg thanks to that bite that he got but he wasn't aware of what shape his leg was in. He was kind of ready to get the tooth out and have a look.

Kyran lifted his head again when he heard Marius and looked over at him. He merely nodded his head a little before lowering it back down onto his arms. He turned his head slightly when he heard Marius speak again. Honestly, he'd forgotten about the tooth that was in Nero's leg. He hadn't even been too aware of it to begin with. He was a little surprised that Nero had let it go as long as he had. That thing was probably going to let blood spill out like there was no tomorrow.

LaRae went straight over to the bed, leaving the light on and the door open to the bathroom. She sat down on the very edge of the bed beside Nanashi and reached up to his face with the wet wash cloth and started to clean the smeared blood from his face. Once she'd cleaned his face up she proceeded down to his arms, being extra careful around his left arm with the cast. After his arms were cleaned up she got up from the bed and started back to the bathroom to wash the cloth out and soak it again before returning to the bed.

Levana had paused outside of the room that Kanone had been put in once she'd stepped back into the house. She was a little curious herself to see a light dragon actually healing. For the most part she had thought that the way healing was done between the clans was a little different. The water clan's method of stitching was most likely different than the light clan's so she couldn't help wanting to watch the girl while she worked. She tried to stay in the background at least until she heard the thud and saw the girl hit the floor. She quickly stepped into the room and started to kneel down on the floor beside her while motioning to Kanone not to get up. He'd just been healed and she didn't think he really needed to bother with trying to sit up right now. She reached over and set her hand gently to the side of Hikari's face, or at least she assumed her name was Hikari since Kanone had called her that. "Hikari dear, are you alright?" She asked as she patted the side of her face a little to see if she was going to get a response out of her.

Cyndel 03-04-2009 11:01 AM

Celestine had glanced away from Aamori once he's gotten turned around, though he looked back quickly when he heard the soft 'thud' of her feet hitting the porch. He looked back to her quickly when he saw her wobbling forward and then uncrossed his arms as the swing bumped her and sent her stumbling forward. He didn't have to move far before he was in front of her, and it was a somewhat automatic reaction as he put himself between her ans where she was falling toward while wrapping his arms around her tightly when she reached him, though he stumbled back a step or two himself until he bumped the railing. He held onto her for a moment as if he was holding her up but after she was steady his arms slipped into a more comfortable position. One arm was wrapped around her waist while the other positioned itself behind her shoulders and his hand pressed lightly against the back of her head. He sighed quietly while he closed his eyes and then leaned his head forward to rest against her shoulder. "...Don't hurt yourself..." he said quietly, just loud enough to be heard. He didn't seem in any hurt to be rid of her at least. He could probably stand here half of the night if it weren't for the fact that Aamori would probably need to sit down.

Marius nodded slightly when Nero said that he needed help and then finally reached over to his leg, placing his hand gently on his knee while he eyed the tooth. "Hmm..." He knew there was going to be blood when he pulled it out, and he wished that he had something to put around his leg. Unfortunately, if the house was graced with bandages, he had no idea where they were. Finally he reached up to the tooth and carefully wrapped his fingers around the roots like a handle before he moved his other hand so that his fingers were split down the center with two above and tow below the entry and pressed back on his leg lightly while he pulled back against the tooth with his other hand. It surprised him how well the tooth was stock in though since he was able to pull straight back it came out a lot easier than it would have otherwise. He sighed with relief when the tooth finally came loose and then cringed a little when he could feel blood flowing down over his fingers. He dropped the tooth to the floor and then reached to his middle where a thin green sash was tied to keep his robe closed, though it really wouldn't have mattered wither way as he had a white ankle length tunic on under it. He pulled the tie on the sash and quickly balled it up in his hand before he quickly pressed it over the bleeding wound just after moving his other hand. "I don't know where any bandages are, but use this until we find some." He held it there firmly, waiting for Nero to take over. He didn't really see the point in pulling his pants leg up just yet, if he had any other wounds they were probably no longer bleeding or at least not bleeding much, and he didn't want to give this one time to bleed too heavily before something was done about it.

Nanashi still didn't give much of a response while LaRae was touching him. He did groaned once and try to turn his face away from the cloth a little, though he didn't get far with that. It would about be easier to just throw him in a tub rather than try to clean him this way. His arms had been coated with blood where he had been holding his middle while it was bleeding and he had smeared it on his face around his eyes while rubbing them. Even after all of that his torso was still covered and his hair was full of it on the back. There were a few small areas on is back that had been bloodied from the cuts as well as a few small remaining cuts, though they were no longer bleeding.

Hikari didn't move when Levana touched her face, though the cold did register to her. She took in a few more deep breaths before Levana started to pat her cheek. She struggled for a moment before her eyelids finally decided to flutter open. The glow that was usually so apparent in her silver pupils was very dim, almost nonexistent, and her iridescent blue eyes were almost glassy looking as he stared up at Levana blankly through a thin net of wet, silver curls. She groaned softly before her eyes closed again. She really had overdone it this time. She was completely and utterly exhausted.

Yotsy 03-04-2009 06:03 PM

Aamori startled when she thought she was going to collide with the railing. She had shut her eyes tightly and was already regretting that she even thought about getting down from the swing. She relaxed very slightly when she felt that she'd fallen against something a lot softer than she had expected to. She started to open her eyes a little after she felt the arms so tightly around her. She was honestly glad that Celestine had moved to keep her from getting hurt, especially after she had just been told not to go anywhere. She started to shift her arms around so that she could put them around him after he'd spoken. She hadn't been trying to hurt herself but voicing that really wasn't important. She merely nodded her head weakly in response. "...Thank you." She mumbled quietly. She wasn't in much of a hurry herself to move. She had wanted to stand near him and thanks to her unsteady legs and that swing she was getting to do more than just stand near him.

Nero stared down at Marius while he started to move his hands to get a hold of the tooth. He turned his eyes away just before Marius had actually started to pull on the tooth. He clenched his teeth together tightly while Marius was removing the tooth and did his best to keep himself quiet. It hurt of course but he was more focused on not letting the pain show or be heard. Once the tooth was out he wasn't sure if he felt relieved that it was out or concerned that it was bleeding like it was. He looked back down at Marius when he heard him speak. He looked down at his leg and noticed what had been balled up and pressed to his leg. He sighed quietly and lowered his good hand down to take over, applying some pressure to the wound. "...Thanks." He said quietly. He was glad that Marius had offered to help him rather than leaving him to ask for the help himself.

Kyran kept his eyes turned towards Marius and Nero. He was kind of trying to watch what Marius was doing but with his head still rested against his arms on the table it was pretty much impossible to see any lower than the table itself and he was in no hurry to lift his head up. He merely watched the faces that Nero made while he was trying to be quiet through Marius removing the tooth. Nero was pretty good at not letting on how much pain he was in but even something like this couldn't hide it completely. He shifted slightly but still didn't lift his head up when he heard what Marius said about not knowing where bandages were. "Hikari has some, they're probably still wet though." He told him. Wet bandages were still better than none, in his opinion anyway. "And... at my house we kept bandages and first aid stuff in the bathroom, usually in a cabinet or something." He offered. He wasn't sure where most people kept their first aid kits but the bathroom was probably a good place to check. Then again, he could probably just ask Levana. She'd probably know where a first aid kit was, surely there would be something like that in every one of these houses.

LaRae returned to the side of the bed and quietly went back to trying to clean Nanashi up. She was more than aware that it would just be easier to get him cleaned up if he took a bath but since he was unconscious it was kind of hard for him to take a bath. Not to mention she didn't think any of the guys were in any shape to help bathe him and honestly, it wasn't going to hurt anything to wait for a bath until he was awake and able to do it himself. She just thought she'd clean him up a little so that he wasn't stuck covered in quite so much blood. It was also something to do to keep her mind off her own cast. Since the cast was so easy to get to she really wanted nothing more than to pick at it some more. She didn't do a perfect job of getting him cleaned up but at least he did look better without so much blood stuck to him. Once she decided she was done she sat there and stared at him for a moment and then sighed quietly. He'd spent so much time stuck in a bed since they'd been here, it was kind of sad. She continued to sit there for a few moments before she stood up again and headed back to the bathroom to wash out the cloth again. She lifted her eyes up from the running water for a moment and looked in the mirror, noticing her own arm was covered in blood. Wonderful. She sighed heavily and went back to washing out the cloth as best as she could so that she could start cleaning up her own arm.

Levana stared down at Hikari with a slightly worried look on her face while she waited for some sort of response from the girl. She knew that healing was very draining and that was likely the cause for her being like she was right now. She sighed softly when she caught Hikari's eyes open. Even if they were glassy and her stare was blank, at least she'd opened her eyes and given her a response. That was better than nothing at all. She shook her head lightly after her eyes had shut. "...This here is the only real draw back to healing like that..." She commented quietly as she shifted a little so that she could lift Hikari's head and rest it in her lap. She didn't think she'd be able to lift her safely so she didn't bother trying. After setting her head in her lap she noticed the bow. She quirked a brow and reached for it rather surprised to find that it was broken. She sighed quietly and shimmied out from under her before setting it off to the side. "I hope that wasn't anything special..." She said quietly as she looked back down to Hikari.

Celestine nodded his head slightly when she thanked him, muttering a soft 'mm-hmm' before he turned his head a little to the side. He didn't want to move again and for all intents and purposes was content the way they were, but after a minute he couldn't help but start shivering again. After all, he didn't have much body fat to keep him warm and he had been dunked in cold water right along with everyone else, so his already thin clothes were drenched with cold water and the night ocean air was pretty cold against his skin. To top all of that off, Aamori was always the coldest member of the group and her skin felt almost like ice to him right now. He was glad at least that Aamori wasn't very affected by the cold. He was used to cool winds and cooler temperatures in the mountains, but when wet it seemed a lot colder than usual. He even froze in the mountains when he got rained on bad enough. His mind wandered elsewhere for a moment, and he half wanted to go check on Kanone, but still couldn't quite bring himself to make it into the house. Finally he just sighed and snuggled his head down into Aamori's shoulder and closed his eyes while he laid his ears back. Even standing like this he felt restless, like there was something else he wanted to do, but didn't really know where to start so had no cares to even move from his position. He just wasn't a very happy camper tonight, even though he came out of it in better physical condition than anyone else. He had about reached his limit as far as things that he could stand for a while. With being locked in a flooded room, then finding out that Aamori had nearly died, and then the way that Kanone had started coughing up blood on them he felt like if one more thing even went remotely wrong that he was going to wind up rocking back and forth in the corner while bawling his little green eyes out. Being locked up had rattled him the most, of course...he could have taken everything else in stride had it not been for that. He still wasn't quite over it, and wasn't entirely sure when he would be.

Marius glanced up to Nero when he thanked him and then slid his hand out from under Nero's once he'd put it over the cloth to take over for him. "Don't mention it," he said simply as he pushed himself up from the floor. He groaned softly as he straightened up and placed his clean hand to his back just above his hip until he was completely upright again and then dropped it as he glanced over to Kyran and then nodded. "I suppose if we can't find any others that would work... I haven't rummaged through any cabinets yet." He'd come straight in and passed out before he even took a decent bath or anything, though he had taken care of all of that bright and early this morning. Otherwise, he hadn't done very much exploring of the house. Frankly the last two days had been full of much more activity than he was used to in his day with all of the traveling and lifting and such. His hip was already griping at him for all of the kneeling and standing he'd been doing, though only when he was in the process of standing up straight again. "I'll go check for one." He started to move down to the second door on the left, which was the room that he had put his things in, and then opened it and slipped inside. Once in he went straight for the other door and opened it though he startled slightly when he walked in on LaRae and then sighed in relief that she wasn't...indecent. "...I'm sorry, I didn't know you were in here." he apologized quickly. "...Would you mind checking under the sink for a first aid kit or...something along that line? Nero's leg is bleeding pretty badly."

Hikari sighed softly as her breathing finally started to regulate. "Mm..." she grunted quietly in response to what Levana had said. Yes, this was a major drawback to healing like that; it drove her crazy. She probably looked unconscious, but she was still fully aware of her surroundings, just too tired to react to them. She could easily fall asleep like this at least, though she was trying to stay awake. She could regain energy faster by sleeping or by basking in moonlight, though in here the moonlight option was out. She cracked her eyes open again after Levana had moved her and then felt something sliding out from under her. She turned her eyes slowly to the side without moving her head, only to groan softly when she realized what that snap must have been. The old wooden bow had finally given out. Just perfect...

Kanone had laid back when Levana motioned for him to, but after listening to her he finally sat up on his elbows and tried to keep over the side of the bed, though Hikari was still well out of his sight. "...Is...she okay?" he asked quietly, no longer sounding too strained for speech. He was still very sore, but it no loner really hurt to breath. The rib was reattached, though it was still weak and it probably wouldn't take as much force as before to snap it again, though it was unlikely that it was going to get smacked again, so it would probably be fine until it finished healing on it's own.

Aamori really hadn't noticed how chilly it was, or perhaps it hadn't registered the way it would to someone else. Since her skin was always cold, cold temperatures barely registered to her. It'd practically have to be snowing for her to start actually being affected by the cold. She hadn't really picked up on how chilly it was until she felt Celestine shivering. Then it was almost painfully clear and she knew it wasn't helping him any that her skin was usually cold. Then on top of that she was barely wearing anything at all, just her wetsuit. Her first thought was to let go of him so that she wasn't adding to the chill factor but she didn't really want to move. She kept her arms around him and shifted her hands a little so that her palms faced wings. Since she didn't want to let go of him the least she thought she could do was dry his wings for him. She hadn't used very much energy today so it wasn't like it'd be the end of the world or anything. She sighed softly and lowered her own head onto his shoulder a little while her hands started emitting the faint blueish aura they usually did. Moments later she started pulling the water from his wings the way she had in the past. "...Are you okay?" She mumbled quietly. He seemed much quieter than normal so of course she was somewhat concerned.

Nero kept his hand pressed firmly to his leg, holding the wadded up fabric in place over the bleeding wound. He glanced over to Kyran briefly after he heard him speak and then looked over to Marius and watched him get up and go off in search of a first aid kit, or well, some bandages at least. He turned his eyes back down to his leg briefly and sighed softly. At least it wasn't hurting like it had been any more. Stupid fish... He thought to himself as he let out another sigh. Honestly, being bitten by a stupid fish. That was pretty pathetic considering you were supposed to eat fish.

LaRae was nearly finished washing the blood off of her arm by the time Marius had come inside and startled her. She hadn't looked around enough to even notice that the bathroom had more than one entrance so she was completely taken by surprise when she saw Marius come in. Considering he'd apologized quickly she guessed that he hadn't known about the other entrance either. She shook her head a little. "It's alright, I was just washing my arm." She said quietly, though she guessed that much was obvious since she wasn't completely finished. She set the wash cloth down on the side of the sink and started to kneel down after hearing his question. "Oh, alright." She responded as she started to open the cabinet below the sink. There wasn't a whole lot beneath the sink with didn't surprise her since this was a vacation house for all intents and purposes. Surely enough right towards the back of the cabinet was a white box with a red cross on it. Well if that didn't scream first aid kit she didn't know what did. She reached back into the cabinet and fumbled with the box a little since she was only using her right hand to pull it out. She set it down on the floor beside her while she closed the cabinet doors and then started to pick it up again. The box was no bigger than a shoe box with a little of everything inside. She struggled a little getting the box off the floor and then started to stand up and carry it over toward Marius. "...Here, I think this will probably do the job." She said quietly and waited for him to take the box so she could go back to washing off her arm.

Levana kept a pretty close on Hikari now that her head was resting in her lap. It was a bit easier for her to notice the little things this way. Like the fact that Hikari had moved her eyes after the bow had been slid out from beneath her. She sighed quietly and set her hand down gently on Hikari's forehead, of course feeling the odd bump in her forehead. It probably hadn't been all that hard to see the gem in her forehead to begin with but she really wasn't paying that close attention to it until now when she'd touched it. She brushed any hair aside that was covering the gem and got a good look at it. She certainly wasn't expecting someone like her to be in such a grouping of people, then again she hadn't expected Aamori to be in it either. Being an Elder like she was she did have some knowledge of the other clans so of course she recognized the gem to some extent when she saw it. Regardless of her interest in the gem and who Hikari was she continued to rest her hand over top of her forehead. "Go ahead and get some sleep, Hikari." She started. "You don't need to stay awake, dear. We'll see to it that you make it to a bed." She said softly. There was no way that Hikari was going to get up and carry herself to a bed so there wasn't much of a point for her to fight going to sleep. She glanced up at Kanone when she heard him and gave him a reassuring smile. "She's just worn herself out." She paused. "I don't think she did any major damage to herself when she fell, the only casualty is her bow." She said as she glanced back down to Hikari. "After some much deserved sleep, I think she'll be fine." She told him. She lifted her eyes slightly and looked back at Kanone. "How are you feeling? You sound a little better at least." She asked.

Cyndel 03-05-2009 02:39 AM

Celestine honestly didn't even notice when she started to dry his wings. He had barely even been paying attention to them in the first place. It would probably only really become apparent to him when he tried to move or something later. Slowly, he raised his head out of the crook of her neck to look at her when she asked if he was alright and then nodded his head weakly in response. "...I'm fine...," he said quietly, "...I'm not hurt or anything..." His feet still had little scratches on them, but they were healed to the point that they may as well not be there. Of course he wasn't going to go whining to Aamori or anyone else about how shaken he was. He knew it was senseless to still be this upset hours after the fact, but he couldn't really help it. That was almost like throwing a wild animal into a cage and scaring it as bad as you could before letting it out again; the thing would never want to go near anything that remotely resembled a cage again. He closed his eyes again and sighed softly, "...I'm just...worried about Kanone..." he said quietly.

Marius watched as LaRae knelt to check the sink and then sighed softly when he saw how much trouble she was having with the box. He hadn't realized that there was anything wrong with her arm before since he hadn't really seen the cast and...honestly had no idea what it was. He'd assumed it was probably Nanashi's blood or something. As soon as she got it out and started to pick it up he moved closer to her until they met and then reached out to take it from her with both hands. "Thank you, dear," he said softly. He gave her an appreciative nod and then started to back up again before turning to the door that he'd entered from and moving back into the bedroom. He sighed softly as he closed the door behind him and then moved to the door that would lead him back to the main part of the house. He glanced back toward the table and moved closer to the two sitting there. He sat the box down on the table closer to Nero and then opened the box to see what all was even inside. He reached into the box and sat the bandages out on the table before he started to look over the bottles and sterile pads inside. After raising his two children and dealing with their children, all of which were male, he definitely learned his way around a first aid kit. There were some things in here that he didn't recognize, but he was glad for the labels on the bottles. After he found the alcohol he glanced over to Nero again and then glanced at his arm. "Do you want me to take care of your arm or wait until you have your hand back and do it yourself?"

Hikari looked up to Levana again and when she felt her hand on her forehead and then turned her eyes off to the side when she started examining the gem on her forehead. She didn't know for sure if Levana had any idea what it meant, though with her being an elder she was pretty sure that she would have at least known about the white gems as a symbol of her clan's elders so it wasn't too hard to figure out what a blue one was for if she didn't already know. She turned her eyes back up toward Levana again when she told her that she could go to sleep and then sighed softly as she nodded her hear a tiny bit before closing her eyes again. She didn't even really care if she made it to a bed or not, she was fine in the floor for all she cared, though she didn't want to keep Levana down here all night. As soon as she'd closed her eyes again and started to relax she could already feel herself drifting off to sleep, and it really didn't take long.

Kanone nodded slightly, looking relieved when she said that she'd just worn herself out. Well, he was pretty sure that he owed her some flowers or something after this. "Ah..." He smiled weakly when she said that she would be alright after some sleep. He chuckled softly whens he asked how he was feeling. "Well, I can breathe again, so I guess I'm feeling pretty good. ...Just kind of tired. Otherwise, I'm fine..." He glanced around slightly and then tilted his head a little. "...Celestine's not in here?" He sounded kind of surprised, but not upset about it. He just sighed as he lowered himself back to the bed again. "Heh...thought he'd be glued to the side of the bed by now...clingy kid..." He stretched slightly on the bed and then crossed his arms behind his head. "Guess I should go find him and let him know I"m alive... I didn't meant to scare him half to death." By now he was mostly just muttering to himself more than talking to Levana, though he didn't really seem to care. Apparently, Kanone just liked to hear himself talk. Half of the things he said wasn't really directed at anyone.

Aamori continued to work at drying his wings as quickly as possible and hopefully without being noticed. If she managed to get his wings dry fast enough she wanted to move onto his clothing next. The drier he was the better and with at least his wings dry they might be able to provide him with some relief from the wind. Or at least that's what she thought. She glanced over at him briefly when he said he was fine and that he wasn't hurt. That hadn't exactly been what she was looking for in an answer and she didn't believe that he was fine. She went back to focusing on getting all of the water from his wings until he spoke again. She was worried about Kanone too but she'd kind of just accepted that there were other people to take care of Kanone and he'd be just fine. Besides, if Kanone was going to be injured so badly in front of someone they'd found the best person for that. Levana had access to the best resources in all of Kairava. It'd only take a matter of minutes to get the best of the best here to make sure Kanone was alright. She sighed quietly. "...I think he'll be fine." She paused. "Hikari's a good healer and Lady Levana won't just let him stay hurt if Hikari can't help him." She nodded very slightly. "Lady Levana has access to the best medical care in Kairava." She said quietly. "...You could go check on him, you know." She added lastly.

Nero sat quietly with his hand still pressed to his leg until Marius came back with the first aid kit. He watched Marius while he opened the box and pulled the bandages from the box. He started to turn his eyes away at least until he caught sight of the bottle of alcohol. Oh god was that going to sting. Why couldn't there be something different to clean cuts with? He sighed quietly. He'd just have to deal with it. He shook his head a little after hearing Marius' question. "I think I can handle my arm myself... but thanks." He said while glancing over at his arm again. It was bad enough that he had to have Marius help him with his leg he could at least take care of his arm himself.

LaRae finished washing the blood off her arm as best as she could. Since the cast still wasn't coming off it was kind of hard to clean underneath it. Other than that she'd pretty much gotten every speck of blood off her arm. She sighed softly and started to rinse the wash cloth out again, for the final time tonight. Unfortunately she'd kind of ruined the wash cloth and it was stained with blood. She hoped that wasn't going to be a problem. Since she was done with the cloth and the water was shut off she set the cloth down on the edge of the sink and started to head back towards the bedroom where Nanashi was. She shut the light off on the way out and pulled the door shut behind her before starting back over to the bed. She started to sit down on the empty side of the bed and stopped when she saw that the other door was still open. She moved over to the door and started to close it a little so that it was only open a crack and then started back over to the bed. She stood there for a moment and then started to pull the covers back on the bed. She thought briefly about laying down and covering up but decided against it. Instead she threw the covers from her side of the bed over onto Nanashi as best as she could then went around the bed to make sure he was covered up well enough. She wasn't going to be able to get the covers out from under him with one arm so it was just easier to cover him with the other side. She remembered how easily he got cold and wanted to make sure that he was covered up since the windows here were so large and all they had to keep the breeze out were shutters. Other than that the windows weren't covered, so the breeze still got into the room a little. After she'd made sure that Nanashi was covered up she leaned over a little and lightly kissed his cheek before returning to the other side of the bed to finally lay down and try to get comfortable on her back.

Levana continued to keep her hand on Hikari's forehead and gently started to run her hand from her forehead towards the back of her head only to lift her hand and repeat the process. She kept an eye on Hikari until she was sure she'd started to go to sleep and then lifted her eyes to look back over at Kanone. "Of course you're tired." She commented with a weak smile. After all he'd been coughing up blood and had been suffering from an internal injury, if he wasn't tired after all of that she'd be worried. "...Celestine's been outside the whole time." She paused. "He was just standing in the sand looking a little dazed after you were brought inside so I asked him to at least come onto the porch and keep an eye on Aamori." She glanced over to the window briefly when she heard him say that he should go find him. The one window did open up onto the front of the porch. At any rate she didn't think that Kanone needed to be getting up and moving around right now. Even if he was feeling better he needed time to rest. "You really don't need to be getting up, Kanone." She paused. "It's better that you stay in bed and rest."

Cyndel 03-05-2009 08:09 AM

Celestine sighed softly while he listened to Aamori. He nodded weakly in understanding, though he still couldn't help but worry a little. He didn't know exactly what all could be accomplished through healing abilities. He just hoped that nothing was too messed up on him and that he wasn't really in pain anymore. He nestled his head back against her again and then nodded weakly whens eh said that he could go to check on him. "...I will...sometime..." he said quietly. He didn't even want to admit that he couldn't even bring himself to step inside the house right now. Besides, he was kind of on watch duty right now. After that last little stunt he really didn't think it safe to leave Aamori unsupervised for a few minutes.

Marius nodded slightly when Nero said that he could take care of it himself. "Alright," he agreed easily. His arm wasn't bleeding, so he didn't see what waiting a bit until his leg was under control would hurt. Marius was of course one to be concerned over others, but luckily for Nero he wasn't pushy and he would give you plenty of chances to do something yourself before he just took over. "If you have any trouble getting the bandage on I'll help you with it. That may be a little difficult with one hand." He sat the bottle down on the table as well and then glanced back with a sigh, "I'm going to go back and check on Kanone, you can call if you need me." He glanced back to Nero again and offered him a weak smile before he raised his hand and sat it on Nero's shoulder for a moment before he turned to walk back toward the room that he'd left Kanone in.

Kanone sighed again when she told him where Celestine was and then smiled weakly, shaking his head slightly. "...Oh well...I should have known as much..." he said quietly. He glanced over to her again when she said that he didn't need to be getting up and then sighed again, "...Yeah...I know..." he said with a soft huff, "I hate this part of the process..." He looked up at the ceiling and then sighed again and glanced back to Levana again with a slight smile. "...Do me a favor...When you get up if you see Cel, tell him to get in here. He's not sleeping outside tonight." He closed his eyes again, "Of course you may have to shove him through the door... I'd say after today he's not going to want to have anything to do with walls."

Yotsy 03-05-2009 10:38 AM

Aamori would probably never admit it but she was kind of glad that Celestine wasn't getting up right this minute to go check on Kanone. Call her selfish but she didn't want him to go anywhere yet. She was still working at getting the water pulled from his wings though she was fairly certain that there wasn't much water left to pull out of his wings by now. At any rate she needed to release the water and unfortunately there weren't very many places for her to drop it. She slowly started to move her hands, removing her arms from around him momentarily then placing her hands behind her back. Once her hands were behind her she released the aura from around her hands and shook the water free. The splash the water made when it hit the porch was unavoidable and she half wondered how long it would take Celestine to register what she'd done. She'd helped dry his wings enough that you'd think he'd have picked up on what she'd been doing sooner.

Nero just stared at Marius for a brief moment when he said he'd help if he had any trouble getting the bandage on. It wasn't until after Marius had set the bottle of alcohol down on the table that he really picked up on what Marius had meant. He merely nodded weakly once Marius had said that he was going to and check on Kanone. "...Alright." He responded quietly. He kind of wanted to know how Kanone was doing now too, so he couldn't see making Marius stay and help him. He had originally thought that Marius was going to stay and help him at least with his leg, considering his prior question had only asked if he needed help with his arm. Of course he figured that he could take care of his own arm just fine once his leg was tended to which was why he declined the offer for help with his arm. Oh well, he had planned to take care of his leg himself anyway so it wasn't that big a deal and he did still want to know how Kanone was and Marius would likely let them know once he came back. He nodded his head again weakly after Marius touched his shoulder and then shooed him off with his hand as he turned his attention down to his leg again. This was going to be a challenge with only one good hand. He sighed softly and started to kick his foot out of his boot. He sat there for a moment eying the bottle of alcohol and then looking down at the bunched up fabric he'd been pressing to his leg. He thought for a moment before he shimmied his tail around to put in place of his hand. That certainly wasn't the same amount of pressure but it would at least hold the fabric in place so he could use his hand. He reached for the bottle and reluctantly twisted the cap off. He would love nothing more than to just pour the bottle over his leg but he wasn't exactly in the room to be doing that sort of thing and there was nothing to catch the alcohol in either once it washed over his injury. He sighed quietly and reached for the first aid kit, sliding it a little closer so that he could see inside better. He rummaged around until he found a decent sized gauze pad. He took that and placed it over the open bottle and then tipped it upside down. He did that a couple more times until the majority of the gauze had been soaked. He held onto the gauze and leaned down to his leg. He let his tail slip away from his leg, allowing the bunched up, bloodied sash to drop onto the floor. He slid his pant leg up with his hand while still holding onto the gauze. Thankfully he didn't have too far to move his pant leg before he found the main cause for concern. The hole were the tooth had been was still bleeding a little and he was pretty sure that was because the tooth had pretty much left a small gaping hole in his leg. He sighed heavily and pressed the saturated gauze pad to his leg, right over the hole. He couldn't help but emit a low hiss when the alcohol hit the open wound. That stung to high heavens and even though he new what to expect it still hurt. He continued to press the gauze firmly to his leg squeezing the alcohol from the gauze. He replaced his hand with his tail again and returned to the table to pull another gauze from the first aid kit and grab the rolled bandages. He set the rolled bandages in his lap for a moment while he switched out the gauze pads. He just let the wet one fall to the floor for now and immediately reached to his lap to grab the roll of bandages. He tried to be quick, slipping the end of the roll over top the gauze and then placing his tail right back over top the two. He worried about being quick for nothing really, the dry gauze held in place just fine while he put the end of the bandage over it. He did his best to hold everything in place with his tail while he started wrapping the bandage around his leg slowly. He couldn't get it as tight as he would've if he'd been able to use both hands but it was tight enough that it wasn't going anywhere easily. He managed to get the whole bitten area covered up with the bandages. He made sure to rip the bandages apart once he was done and then tuck his end in so that the bandage didn't come undone. It wasn't perfect but considering all he'd used was his one hand and his tail it was good enough. He let his pant leg down over the bandage and then started sit back in the chair for a moment to look at his arm again since that was the next step.

Kyran continued to sit there quietly with his head rested against his arms. It wasn't until Nero started trying to bandage his own leg that he sat up. He couldn't help but watch while Nero was trying his best to do this himself. He had thought about asking if he wanted help but he was waiting to see if he'd have any real difficulties and so far he didn't think Nero was doing that badly. He was actually surprised once Nero had finished. He had managed to bandage his leg decently enough. Though he was pretty sure he'd need that looked at again sometime in the morning or after noon. It hadn't quite been cleaned properly and with an open wound like that he didn't need to get an infection or anything.

Levana was still running her hand gently over Hikari's head while she listened to Kanone. She couldn't help but raise an eyebrow slightly at his request. It was a little strange, to be honest. "Claustrophobic?" She questioned. That was the only answer she could possibly come up with that would make any sense as to why someone wouldn't want anything to do with walls, of all things. She shrugged her shoulders very lightly. "I can try... but seeing as he's not from the water clan I can't rightfully force him to do anything he doesn't want to do and he isn't breaking the law by not wanting to be inside of a house." She paused and sighed softly. "If he lingered around outside after everyone else was in here and he refused to come in, I could have him for loitering on the elder island but that would just land him in a cell and I don't think that helps very much if he is indeed claustrophobic." She said with a quiet chuckle. "I think Marius might have a better chance of convincing him to come inside than me, so maybe you should ask him to take care of your favor."

Cyndel 03-05-2009 12:19 PM

Celestine still didn't really move from where he stood, at least not until he felt her moving her arms. He raised his head off of her shoulder a little and then looked at her for a second, starting to lower his own arms, since he assumed that she was tired of standing like that. As soon as the water splashed onto the porch he startled violently, releasing Aamori and jerking back until he smacked into the railing again. He looked down at the porch and then sighed softly in relief once he spotted the source of the noise, though after a moment he actually had to wonder where that water came from. He blinked and then glanced over his shoulder, looking confused, before he moved one of his wings and opened it enough that he could see it. He stared at it for a moment and then folded it back against his back again. "...Um...th-thanks..." he said quietly as he relaxed against the rail, looking a bit embarrassed. He didn't know why the sound of water splashing made him jump like that other than it was just so unexpected.

Marius made a quick trip of getting down to the door, though he hovered just outside of it when he heard Kanone talking. He didn't know who he was talking to, though he assumed it was probably Hikari. Finaly, he slipped inside and stood by the doorway, surprised to see Levana in the floor. All he could see from where he stood was Levana's back, so he assumed that Hikari had left the room already, though he had no idea why Levana was sitting in the floor.

Kanone half smiled when she asked if Celestine was claustrophobic. "Extremely," he responded simply, "I think most people from out clan are a little, but his case is insane..." He laughed quietly at her suggestion of getting him for loitering. "Oh yes, that would make everything better," he joked. He chuckled again when she said that Marius would have a better chance of getting him inside. "You kidding? Gramps would probably sit out there with him." He finally rolled onto his side, facing Levana while he propped his elbow up and rested his head on the back of his hand. He wanted to get up, clearly, but he was being good and staying in the bed like he was told, though a bath sounded like heaven right now.

Marius smirked slightly when he heard Kanone's response to Levana. "Would I now?" he asked, since he had obviously gone completely unnoticed by the boy. He chuckled softly and then shook his head as he started closer to the bed and came to a stop near the foot of the bed, not far from where Levana was. "...You sound better at least," he said softly, "I'm glad...you two are going to give me a heart attack before this trip is over. First Celestine, now you."

Kanone startled when he heard Marius's voice and then looked back to him. "Ah...haha...hi, Gramps," he said with a slight smile. He nodded when he said that he sounded better and then sighed softly. "Yeah yeah, don't worry... I don't plan on making a habit of it...."

Marius shook his head slightly and then glanced over to Levana again, though he blinked when he spotted Hikari and looked a little concerned before he sighed softly. He moved around Levana and knelt beside her for a moment. He looked at her leg, though it didn't look as if it had been bleeding bad enough to caught her to faint, so he assumed she must have just really run out of energy. He kind of wished he'd stayed with her now considering that she had ended up in the floor. After a moment he moved the edge of Kanone's shirt aside to eye the gashes on her hip and upper thigh which were covered in sand. He guessed that was one more thing he needed to take care of, though considering it's location he supposed that would be better left up to a girl. He glanced up again and looked at Kanone. "...What in the name of all things holy were you fighting with?"

"...A really big fish," he said flatly.

"...Elaborate?"

Kanone took a deep breath and then started again, "An eight foot barracuda that swallowed the water relic and was covered in scales sharp enough to cut you if you even looked at it the wrong way who somehow managed to lock us in the top of the tower, break the glass in the wall, flood the room to the point that none of us could even stand, swim around and grate the skin off of Aamori's legs, then smack Kyran into that...pillar thing and cut his torso open, grate the skin off of Nanashi's midsection and LaRae's arm, knick Hikari's leg, head butt Aamori in the chest and knock her into the glass because she was letting the water out of the room..." he had to stop and take another breath, "then the thing decided to play dead after I speared it's gill and threw it into the wall and bit Nero when he got close enough before the sucker turned into a man and attacked us at which point he smacked me in the face with his arm and gashed me open and then moved out of Nero's way when he went to punch him, causing him to hit me instead, then Nobu jumped the thing's leg, Hikari shot it in the head, it wore out it's own stomach, threw the relic out the window and back into the ocean where Aamori drowned herself trying to find the thing and Hikari and I had to sit on the beach and revive her." He sighed again, "...Any questions? That's just the part I was there for, I don't even know what happened to LaRae and Nanashi's arms."

Marius stared at Kanone when he started blathering off in a rush, looking rather dumbfounded and obviously at a lack of things to say. "...I...didn't need...quite that much elaboration..." he said before he glanced over to Levana again. He sighed softly and then shook his head. Kanone was a little tactless with the way he explained things sometimes, though at the rate he was talking half of what he said just...blurred together.

"...Well...that's been our day... Hikari's been playing doctor all day with everyone, even Celestine came out bleeding a little...err...he just stepped on the broken glass." He sighed and folded his arm under him before he laid his head down on his arm. After recalling all of that he kind of lost that drive to get up. Staying in bed seemed like a decent idea to him. "When it's all said and done, I'm just glad no one died."

Aamori jumped a little when Celestine startled and jerked away. She didn't quite understand what had caused him to react like that. The only thing that had changed in the immediate area was the water that she released from her hands, so... maybe that was it? She let her hands rest at her sides until Celestine had finally figured out where the water came from and said thanks. She smiled a little. "....You're welcome." She told him quietly before she inched closer to him and started to lift her arms up like she was going to put them around him again but stopped. She hadn't wanted to let go of him when she had, she was just releasing the water while fully intending to put her arms right back around him once she could. Though he had started to lower his own arms before he jerked away so she couldn't help but think maybe he didn't want to stand like that any more. "...Since you were shivering, I thought drying your wings might help a little." She admitted quietly.

Nero started to position himself properly in the chair so that he could set his left arm down on the table. He reached into the first aid kit again and dug out another gauze pad then set that down on the table next to his arm so that he could grab the bottle of alcohol again. He didn't really want to use the alcohol period but he knew it was for his own good. After all if it was a buddy of his he was taking care of he wouldn't skimp out on the alcohol. He'd make his buddy suffer through the stinging just to make sure the wound got cleaned out properly, or as close to properly as possible. He sighed quietly and started to soak the gauze pad the same way he'd done before. It was kind of a good thing that most of these steps could be done with one hand. He lifted his eyes slightly and glanced over at Kyran briefly, noticing now that he was still watching him. Was it really that interesting to watch someone with only the use of one hand bandage himself up? He shook his head lightly and took the gauze once it was saturated and began dabbing it at the cuts in his arm. They didn't look too bad since the scales from the fish hadn't grated against his arm very much. They really only stabbed into his arm with a very slight pull when they came out. So no major damage other than the depth they cut into his arm. The scales cut far enough that he had lost some movement of his arm, mostly in his hand actually. The muscles just weren't responding very well, if at all right now. He didn't think anything was severely damaged so after awhile he suspected he'd regain full movement of his arm. He continued dabbing at the cuts in his arm, making sure to get all of the blood cleaned off since he was taking more time with this one. After he finished cleaning his arm up he set the gauze aside and reached for the roll of bandages. His arm wasn't bleeding any more and he was fairly certain it'd be alright if left uncovered but he thought it would probably be better to cover it anyway. At least that way he didn't have to worry about anything getting into the cuts or him bumping against something and making it bleed again. He unrolled part of the bandages and started to try and wrap his arm but was finding it a little more difficult than he had imagined. He struggled trying to get the bandage to stay in place long enough for him to get it wrapped tightly around his arm. He was having so much trouble with it that he was already prepared to say screw it and just go without.

Kyran continued to watch Nero once he got started again with the wound on his arm. It was something interesting to watch at least, especially once Nero started having trouble getting the bandage wrapped around his arm. He couldn't help wanting to laugh every time Nero looked like he had it tight enough and then the bandage would come unraveled and he'd have to start over again. It was kind of funny that he didn't seem to have much trouble with wrapping his leg but here, the easier of the two he was struggling with. He shook his head lightly once he noticed how annoyed Nero was and started to scoot his chair a little closer. He reached over without saying a word to Nero and grabbed the bandages. He then took a firm hold of Nero's wrist and pulled his arm closer to him so that he could start wrapping the bandage around his arm. He worked quickly making sure the wrap was tight but not tight enough to cut off circulation and then set the bandages down on the table while simultaneously releasing Nero's arm. After he had finished he went right back to leaning over the table on his arms again. Sitting up right in a wooden chair wasn't exactly that comfortable on his back.

Levana hadn't noticed Marius until after he spoke. She'd been a little too focused on running her hand over Hikari's head and listening to Kanone to even notice him enter the room. She glanced up at Marius when he came to a stop near the foot of the bed. She turned her eyes back down to Hikari for a few moments. She didn't shift her attention again until after Marius had knelt down and then started to inspect the wound on Hikari's hip. She eyed the wound a little herself when Marius had moved the edge of the shirt away. She didn't bother saying anything since Marius had asked a question that she kind of wanted to hear the answer to as well but she'd thought she would take care of Hikari's injury as soon as she got the chance. She glanced back up to Kanone whens he heard his answer to Marius' question. A really big fish? She was pretty sure that the biggest fish were the sharks but then again all the fish in Kairava were bigger compared to other places. She stared at Kanone when he began to elaborate. She picked up easily on the eight foot barracuda and the rest she picked up on in pieces. She stared at him a little blankly once he had finished speaking and shook her head lightly. That... was quick. He certainly was feeling better if he'd managed to get all of that out so quickly when he had been having trouble breathing before. She sat quietly and filtered through the bits and pieces of what he had said that she picked up on. "Um... just to clarify..." She started. "No fish, regardless of it's size or abilities locked you in that tower..." She paused. "The towers are off limits to most people and they're special to us so the mechanics built in a security mechanism that locks you inside the top once you're clear of the stairs. But that's only if you haven't properly opened the door at the base. Anyway, if you're not a water dragon than you can't release the door to get out." She explained. "...It's our way of protecting the towers and keeping the other clans away from our technology." She added. "Usually after someone is locked inside, if they can't get themselves out than a series of guards are sent to take care of who ever is inside." She sighed softly and looked back down at Hikari. She couldn't help thinking that she might have been able to save them a little hassle if she'd told Aamori more about the towers but she didn't think she needed to give her any more information than she already had. Especially if the relic wasn't even anywhere near the towers.

Celestine nodded slightly when she said that she thought drying his wings would help. Well, he certainly was appreciative of that at least. His eyes wandered down to her hands when she started to move closer to him and raised them again, though when she started to lower then he reached out to take her hands in his, scooping his hands under hers. "...You should sit back down, " he said quietly, "...I...I'll sit with you...if you want." He didn't really care whether he was sitting or standing, he just didn't want Aamori's legs to give out on her or anything. He shifted slightly to step away from the rail just enough to get his back off of it and then shook a little as he ruffled the feathers on his wings, puffing them up like one might expect to see on an angry bird which sent a shower of sand falling behind him to the porch now that his feathers were too dry to hold all of it in place. He sighed and then shook his wings out a little, dropping more sand and one or two small feathers before he folded them tightly against his back again.

Kanone opened one eye as he looked back to Levana again while she explained about the door. "Well...it works," he said with a weak laugh, "...But I think you may need to get someone to fix that door...it was already open when we got there, all Aamori did was push it and it came open." He closed his eyes again and then sighed, "I'm afraid thanks to Varun the place is going to need a lot of repairs... He tore it up about as bad as everything else."

Marius was looking at Levana while she explained about the door and then glanced back to Kanone again. He tilted his head again when he mentioned an unfamiliar name. "Varun?"

"...Our little fish friend. That's what he called himself." he said with a slight shrug. "...Man he was whiny. He beats us up and then complains because he got punched in the head." He laughed quietly, "...He wasn't so bad if not for the fact that he was trying to kill us..." He glanced away again and then sighed before he rolled back onto his back again and looked back up to the ceiling. He really didn't like the whole killing thing all that much. He did when he had to, but he wasn't too crazy about it afterward. He didn't even sound like he was talking about an enemy or monster or whatever you'd call that when he spoke, he sounded more like he was talking about some random guy that he'd just met on the street and had nothing against, just someone he found amusing.

Marius shook his head and then sighed, "You would say that," he said simply. Kanone could come to like just about anyone and anything given half a chance. He looked at Kanone for a moment, but he appeared to be done talking for now, so he finally he glanced back down to Hikari again. After a moment he raised his eyes to Levana again, "Well...Hikari seemed to have done a fine job on Kanone, would you like me to take her to bed and free up your lap?" he asked softly. He knew that they needed to get her taken care of and everyone else was too tired or injured to get her up so he was probably the only other one strong enough to lift her. He could come back later and clean Kanone's face up with something...getting him clean wasn't exactly on the very top on the priority list right now. Of course he knew if Kanone was awake he'd be swatting at him and telling him to go away if he came near him with the intention of cleaning him up.

Yotsy 03-06-2009 04:50 AM

Aamori couldn't help but look down at her hands once Celestine had scooped his under hers. She lifted her eyes and looked at him when he said that she should sit back down. She didn't bother nodding her head in agreement until after she'd heard him say that he'd sit with her if she wanted. If she had to sit down then of course she'd rather have him sit with her. She wouldn't have bothered getting up from the porch swing in the first place if he'd sat down with her to begin with. She turned and started to move back over to the porch swing. Thankfully it wasn't like she had to walk a great distance or anything so she didn't wobble that badly to the swing. She pushed the swing back a little before she turned around sat down on it while it swung forward. She sighed quietly when she saw all the sand that he'd shaken free from his wings. "...Sorry I couldn't remove the sand along with the water..."

Nero merely stared over at Kyran after he'd taken hold of his wrist. He sat there quietly without fighting Kyran and let him wrap up his arm. He wasn't really one to ask for help but if you were going to help him it was usually better to just do it, or offer without really giving him an option to say no. He'd been willing to just let his arm go since he couldn't bandage it himself and he hadn't even thought of asking Kyran for help and he certainly wasn't calling Marius back to help. But at least it was done now and he wasn't the slightest bit upset at Kyran, he was actually quite glad that he had done that. "...Thanks." He muttered quietly and then started to put the cap back on the alcohol. He shifted in the chair again and reached for his boot so that he could put it back on. Once he had his foot in it again he tucked his pants into the boot like he usually did and then laced the boot up tightly. He stood up and stretched a little before kneeling down to pick up the gauze he'd dropped on the floor along with the bloodied sash and the tooth. He set the sash down on the chair and then started to walk the rest of the stuff in his hand over to the trash. He couldn't help but limp a little over to the trash. Now that the tooth was out of his leg it hurt to apply his weight to that leg. He was just going to throw everything away but decided to hold onto the tooth for now. He eyed it for a moment and shook his head lightly before stuffing it into his pocket.

Kyran glanced over at Nero when he heard him say thanks. He nodded his head slightly. "...You're welcome." He mumbled quietly. He was actually a little surprised that he'd gotten a thanks out of Nero rather than being chewed out for that. He kind of expected him to be mad that he'd done that and even without asking. He lifted his head slightly when Nero started to get up though he didn't bother to see where he was going. He sighed softly and started to shut his eyes.

Levana nodded her head slightly when Kanone said that they may need to get someone to fix that door. It shouldn't have been open in the first place, but he already knew that and at the moment it didn't really matter that the door was open, the whole place needed to be repaired since the fog wasn't lining the islands any more. "It'll be looked into first thing in the morning, I'm sure." She commented quietly. She sat there quietly while Kanone explained who this Varun was. After he had finished she laughed quietly. A fish that could talk and change into a human body, who even went by the name Varun. Some ordinary person might think Kanone was on some sort of drug if they had heard all of that. She shook her head a little. "I think I'd be a little whiny too if I was a fish who got punched in the head." She paused. "Honestly, how many fish do you go around punching in the head, Kanone?" She wasn't really expecting him to respond to that. She didn't think he actually went around punching fish, that would just be weird. She looked up at Marius when he asked her if she wanted him to take Hikari to a bed. She hadn't minded sitting on the floor with Hikari resting against her lap but she did want to look at Hikari's injury and she couldn't very well do that while she being used as a pillow. "If you don't mind, I'd appreciate it."

Cyndel 03-06-2009 07:19 AM

Celestine shook his head slightly and then sighed after she apologized about the sand. "It will come out on it's own," he responded simply as he walked over to the swing. He stood there for a moment before he turned around and reached for the chain to hold onto before he hopped up a little to sit down. Once he was seated he glanced over to Aamori and then turned his gaze out over the beach again. He sighed softly and then leaned his head over against his hand while he continued to hold onto the chain. He could at least appreciate the scenery while he was sitting out here. It was very pretty to say the least and it really was relaxing to sit out here. All the more reason that he really didn't want to go inside. He would have tried to swing if his toes could touch the ground, but he was a bare few centimeters from being able to reach the boards.

Kanone glanced back to Levana again and then chuckled softly at her comment about the fish. "Hey, he started it," he said with a small laugh before he cleared his throat. It was starting to gum up again, and it was still pretty sore from all of the coughing. The talking wasn't helping much, but apparently a sore throat couldn't stop a chatter box from talking. "...Anyway, I didn't punch him, Nero did, so you can ask him for a count." He chuckled again and then glanced back to Marius again to watch what he was doing with Hikari, "Don't drop her, Gramps..."

Marius nodded to Levana before he shifted positions a little and carefully scooped one arm under Hikari's shoulder and sat her up a little before he scooped the other arm under her knees. He glanced at Kanone when he told him not to drop her and then shook his head as he stood up, cradling a very limp Hikari in his arms. He cringed again as he straighted up and then sighed, "I'm not that old yet, Kanone, I think I can manage," he said simply. He shifted Hikari's weight a little so that her head was resting against him before he glanced back to Kanone again. "I'll be back later..." he said softly before he started to move around Levana carefully so he could get to the door. Once he reached the door he sighed softly as he made his way across the house and through the kitchen area so he could get to the other door, though...he wasn't too sure how to open it like this. He couldn't even sue his tail for the purpose unless he wanted to she the world his bony behind. "Hmm..." Maybe I should have opened the door...and then picked her up.

Kanone watched at Marius headed for the door and then shook his head a little. "Oi, I'm going to sleep, come bug me tomorrow if you must," he told him with a half smile, "I'm fine." He'd probably be making a run for the bathroom with his hand over his mouth later after all of the blood that he'd swallowed, but for right now it really wasn't bothering him. After Marius got out of the room he sighed and closed his eyes again before he moved his hand to rub his face. Oh ew... he could feel the sticky blood on his face when he felt it. Well...maybe he'd go clean that up before he went to sleep.

Yotsy 03-06-2009 09:05 AM

Aamori looked at Celestine when he said that the sand would come out on it's own. Well, she knew that but she would've liked to have been able to get the sand out as well. She kept her eyes on him while he came over to the swing and sat down. She was glad that he did come and sit with her. Even though she was off of her feet now she had to admit it was a little nicer standing the way they had been. She couldn't complain though, at least he was sitting with her. She continued to sit there for a few minutes, quietly while she looked out over the beach. The view was a lot prettier here than anywhere else on the islands, or at least in her opinion. Her usual view right about now consisted of four walls in her cluttered mess of a bedroom. She glanced over at Celestine briefly from the corner of her eye. She kind of wanted to be a little closer to him but at the same time she didn't want to do anything to annoy him. She'd kind of gotten it stuck in her head that it would be better to wait and see if he'd do anything first. But in this case she was tired and had very little patience. She caved in a little and leaned her head over onto his shoulder and hoped that he really didn't mind.

Nero moved over to the sink and started to wash his hands. Since he'd been handling the alcohol he figured that he may as well clean his hands. Once he was finished and dried his hands on the kitchen towel he turned back towards the dinning room table. He paused however when he saw Marius carrying Hikari through the room and towards the back rooms. He assumed that Hikari had probably already taken care of Kanone. Or at least he had no other explanation for why she'd have to be carried any where. He only watched for a moment and then continued over to the table so that he could finish putting the things he'd used back into the first aid kit.

Levana shook her head softly after hearing Kanone say that the fish started it and that Nero had been the one who punched him. She hadn't been introduced to Nero yet so she didn't exactly know who he was referring to. At any rate she couldn't really see anyone punching a fish. Her attention shifted as soon as Marius started to pick Hikari up. She stayed seated on her knees where she was until after Marius had already started to leave the room. Once he had left she lifted her skirt very slightly so that she could get back to her feet. She looked over at Kanone briefly before she started to move across the room over to the bathroom door. She wanted to grab the first aid kit out from under the sink on her way over to the other bedroom. She smiled lightly. "Don't move around too much unless you really have to." She paused. "And, Goodnight since you're going to sleep." She told him before slipping into the bathroom. She left the door open a little behind her. She paused in the bathroom long enough to reach under the sink and fetch the first aid kit and then continue into the other bedroom. She made sure to shut this door behind her completely before looking around a little. She didn't see Marius' bag in this room so she was pretty sure that this was the spare room that he'd bring Hikari to. She set the first aid kit down on the dresser and walked over to the bedroom door to open it. She had kind of expected them to already be in the room so she wondered if that meant Marius had been having trouble with the door. She pulled the door open all of the way and looked at Marius with a smile. "Did you need some help?"

Cyndel 03-06-2009 10:45 AM

Celestine jumped slightly when he felt something on his shoulder and then turned his head to look at Aamroi. He didn't say a word to her about the way that she was laying against him, nor did he try to move away, he just stared with that expressionless look on his face. Finally after a minute he looked away and then moved his arm, shrugging her head off of his shoulder. "Move your head..." It was a little uncomfortable having her head laying on his bony shoulder like that, especially with the way her horns grew. He raised his arm up to the back of the swing and then wrapped it around her shoulders gently, pulling her a little closer so that she could lean her head against his collar instead of his shoulder. "There..." That would probably be more comfortable on both of them, really.

Kanone glanced over to Levana again when she started to get up and then watched as she walked over to the other door. He didn't really know what was in there, though he quickly came to the conclusion that it was a bathroom when she opened the door. He smiled at her when she looked at him and then nodded weakly. "Alright, alright...I'll stay put," he said lightly, "...Good night, Levana... and thanks." He was really glad that Levana was so easy to get along with. She reminded him a lot of his grandfather as far as keeping her personality in check even though she had a grand title. Many elders, as LaRae had pointed out about hers, let it go to their heads. God forbid that he should ever come face-to-face with one of those types of people...he never really learned the whole speaking with courtesy thing. He sighed again and then closed his eyes again while he waited for Levana to come back out of the room, though after a few minutes he glanced at the door curiously, both wondering why she hadn't closed it and how long she planned to be in there. He did still want to wash himself off a little before he went to sleep. He felt kind of disgusting wearing his own blood. It didn't take more than a few minutes of laying there in silence and watching the door before his eyes grew heavy and closed again. He was asleep before he even knew it.

Marius sighed softly as he stood there at the door and then glanced back to the kitchen. He hated to make Kyran get up and walk, and he didn't want to ask Nero to walk on his leg, either. After a moment he glanced back to the door again, just about ready to lower Hikari's legs so he could get the door, but jsut before he started to stoop over, the door open. He sighed softly in relief that he wasn't going to have to try to hold Hikari with one arm. She may be a princess, but she wasn't getting any lighter. He offered Levana a smile when she asked if he needed help and then nodded slightly. "Thank you," he said quietly before he stepped into the room, turning to the side to get in without smacking parts of Hikari off of the door. Once he was in the room he walked over to the bed and carefully leaned down to place Hikari on the mattress, unable to move the sheets first. He would have asked Levana to get them, but he really wanted to put her down before he did drop her. He made sure that her head was positioned on the pulled comfortably and then straightened up again, and again he cringed slightly at a shot of pain that ran through his lower back. He stretched a little once he'd gotten himself completely upright again, holding his hands to his lower back and observing a couple of cracks in the process before he relaxed. It seemed this is what he got for sitting around the house not doing much of anything all day. He wasn't used to all of this bending and lifting and back strain anymore. The last heavy thing he'd carried before today was the body of his dead daughter-in-law, and she had been so cut up and blood drained that she didn't weigh much more than fifty pounds.

Yotsy 03-06-2009 12:02 PM

Aamori didn't have her head turned in any way that she'd be able to see his face so she was waiting for him to voice some concern or something for her leaning against him like she was. Her first reaction after he moved his arm and said for her to move her head was that he didn't want her leaning on him. She had every intention of sitting up straight and moving more so to her side of the swing. At least until he wrapped his arm around her shoulders and pulled her closer so that she could lean on his collar rather than his shoulder. That had kind of caught her by surprise and she couldn't really help the color that found it's way to her cheeks. She just sat there for a few moments before she lifted up her arm and rested it across him while gently nuzzling her head against him.

Levana smiled a little as she stepped out of the way so that Marius could bring Hikari into the room. She started over to the foot of the bed while he was setting her down. At least with her being on a bed it would be easier to tend to the wound on her hip and upper thigh. Having to kneel on the floor the whole time wouldn't have been very comfortable regardless of ones age. She looked over at Marius once he started to straighten up and shook her head lightly after watching him hold his lower back. "I think it's backwards... things like this should get easier the older one gets, not harder." She commented with a quiet chuckle. "Is your back going to be alright?" She asked before letting her eyes trail back to Hikari. She stared at her momentarily before she turned and stepped back over to the dresser to pick up the first aid kit. The sooner that she took care of that wound the sooner everyone in this house could get some rest. That also meant the sooner she'd be able to head home herself. So much for leaving earlier like she had planned. This was quite enough to keep her around for a while longer. She didn't mind though, it wasn't every day that stuff like this happened and she got to be useful. Most of the time in situations like this there would be other people throwing themselves before her so that she didn't have to lift a single finger. It was rather annoying actually. There was no fun or gratification in doing anything for anyone when someone else insisted on doing it for you. She walked back over to the bed with the first aid kit and rounded to the left side of the bed. Since Hikari was laying on the right side with the injury on her left hip the only good access was going to be on the left side of the bed of course. She set the box down near Hikari and then hiked up her skirt a little so that she could easily climb onto the bed beside her.

Cyndel 03-06-2009 12:34 PM

Celestine didn't say anything after Aamori laid her head down, though he did glance down when he felt her arm around him and felt her nuzzling against him. After a moment he lowered his hand from the swing's chain and laid his hand lightly on her forearm before he leaned his head over on top of hers and sighed softly, closing his eyes as he pulled himself a little closer to her. Normally he would have been embarrassed to death about this, but after today's events, he really didn't care too much. Aamori almost died today, and he'd rarely ever showed her any kind of affection other than after he'd hurt her or hurt her feelings or something. He didn't mind staying this close to her, at least not tonight. Usually he wouldn't mind scurrying off to his own little corner, but tonight...he really didn't know what was wrong with him. He wanted to attach himself to someone, and Aamori seemed the only one not too seriously wounded or busy right now.

Marius glanced over to Levana and then laughed softly when she commented about his back. "It only gets easier until you hit 40 or so, after that it all starts going down hill form there." He smiled weakly and then shook his head, "Yes, I'll be fine. This is what happens when you sit around the house all day and don't get very much exercise, nothing wants to move." He watched as she moved over to the opposite side of the bed and sat down before he glanced away and looked back toward the door. "Well...I suppose I will leave this to you," he said simply. Considering the location of Hikari's wounds he wasn't so sure if he shorts would have to come down or id what was left of them could be pushed up that far, but either way, he didn't think he would hang around to watch. He started to move back toward the door again and then glanced back to her again, "If you need any help, let me know." He didn't mind helping if she needed it, but he didn't really want to just stand around in here. He wanted to make sure that Nero had gotten everything taken care of alright and he thought he might be interested in how Kanone was. Also he wanted to see how Kyran was since he seemed pretty fatigued and more or less out of it.

Levana looked up to Marius when she heard what he said about leaving this to her. She nodded her head and smiled slightly. "That's probably for the best." She said as she glanced back down to Hikari briefly. She lifted her eyes again when he said to let him know if she needed any help. She nodded her head again. "I will, but for now... could you just close the door on your way out?" That was all she really needed for right now. She wasn't sure exactly how badly Hikari had been hurt but judging by the blood stained boot it wasn't something minor. Since that was the case she wanted to be able to fully expose the area if need be and if the door was open then she wasn't quite comfortable doing such a thing. She reached over to Hikari's leg and searched the boot for the way to remove it while she waited for Marius to get out of the room and close the door behind him. Once she found the zipper on her inner thigh she quickly pulled it down and slipped the boot off. She set it down towards the end of the bed for now and moved on to remove the other one too. After she had that one off she set it with the other before looking back at Hikari. She eyed the shirt that Hikari was wearing over top of her own clothes and then reached over to lift that up and out of the way to better expose the area that had been hurt. After looking at the gashes on her hip she sighed quietly. That was a little worse than she had been expecting and it would probably take a little while to heal if she just cleaned it out and bandaged it up. She sat there for a moment longer before she scooted off of the bed and started over to the dresser. She knelt down long enough to open one of the drawers and fish out a pair of pajamas. They kept pajamas in the dressers mostly because when other elders came to visit it was nice to have something comfortable for them to sleep in just in case they weren't properly prepared for the weather here in Kairava. She pulled out a pair of soft pale blue sleep pants and the matching button down shirt. Clothing with dried blood on it wasn't something one needed to sleep in, especially when there was something else to wear. She stood up from the dresser and carried the clothing over to the bed, setting it down beside the first aid kit before she proceeded to climb onto the bed again.

Nero had taken his seat once again and had already finished putting everything away in the first aid kit that he'd been using. He pushed it further in on the table and sat with his arms resting to the table lightly. He was starting to get pretty tired now that he didn't have anything else to do. It wouldn't take too much more for him to decide he was ready to find a bed to crash in and that likely was going to require him going to one of the other houses. There were only four rooms from what he was guessing and they were already taken up as far as he knew. He was really only still sitting here because he was a little curious to know how Kanone was doing and he didn't exactly want to go see for himself. After all, he wasn't supposed to be concerned with the well being of dragons from other clans.

Marius nodded slightly to Levana when she asked him to close the door behind him. He didn't waste much time getting out of the room after that and he made sure to close the door tightly behind him. He sighed softly as he walked back across the room and glanced over to Nero at the table, noticing that he seemed finished with the first-aid kit. "How are you doing?" he asked softly as he came up tot take a chair beside him. He sighed softly as he sank down into the seat and leaned back for now. He looked over Nero's arm briefly, glad to see that it appeared to be well wrapped. He assumed that he had probably gotten Kyran to help him with it or something. His eyes turned over to Kyran for a moment and he half smiled, wondering if he was asleep. With his eyes closed it was hard to tell for sure. He didn't bother to say anything to him right now, he just turned his eyes back to Nero, "How is you leg?"

Hikari didn't even realize that she had been moved from the floor and onto the bed. Once she'd fallen asleep she was pretty much out like a log. Even while Levana was tugging on her boots she really didn't move an inch other than what Levana caused her to move. The side of her shorts was almost entirely gone except for the top section, so it really wasn't doing too much to cover her anymore. Those things would be ready for the trash after she was peeled out of them. All of her clothes were still kind of sticking to her from the moister. There was a good deal of blood from her multiple gashes, but the gashes themselves weren't quite as bad as they could have been considering the circumstances, but they still hurt like fire.

Nero glanced up and over at Marius when he heard him ask his first question. He hadn't suspected it was directed at him until after Marius had started to take a seat in the chair beside him. "...I'm alive, at least." He answered quietly. He noticed when Marius looked over at Kyran and couldn't help glancing in that direction himself. He hadn't been paying too close of attention to Kyran so he wasn't sure himself whether or not Kyran was asleep. Judging by the fact that Kyran hadn't budged an inch he guessed he may have fallen asleep. It probably wouldn't be that hard to wake him up if need be. He looked back over at Marius when he heard him ask about his leg. "Sore, especially with added weight." He paused. "Other than that, it's been cleaned up and wrapped good enough for now." Good enough was definitely all there was to it. His wrap job wasn't perfect and it probably wouldn't last through the night if he took to tossing and turning until he was comfortable.

Levana eyed Hikari's wound once more before she reached over and started to remove the pack from her waist. She set that down near the boots and then went back to trying to remove Hikari's shorts so she could take care of the gashes. With the pack removed she reached over and started to lift up her shirt long enough to undo the button of her shorts and then the zipper. She then started trying to carefully shimmy the shorts out from under her rear and then down her legs. It would have been a lot easier had the fabric not been trying to stick to her skin the entire time, but at least she'd gotten them off. She set the shorts with the rest of the items she'd removed and then looked back to the wound. She sighed softly and grabbed hold of the first aid kit, opening it up and immediately pulling out the alcohol and gauze pads. She twisted the top off the bottle and started by pressing the gauze to Hikari's skin just below the gashes and then tipped the bottle over a little above the gashes and let the alcohol wash over the wound. She did her best to catch most of the run off with the gauze, saving the bed from getting too much alcohol on it. She continued to do that, replacing the gauze as needed until the wound appeared to be cleaned thoroughly enough. Before she put the alcohol away she went ahead and used the gauze to clean the blood off of her leg that had run down to her boot. Once she had cleaned her leg up she started to put the bottle away. She focused on the wound again though this time she didn't bother with the first aid kit. She placed her hands together one over the other above Hikari's wound. Her hands started emitting a blue aura that started to come down from her hands in a dome over top of Hikari's wound. She certainly wasn't the best healer in her territory but she was at least talented enough to handle these types of wounds, it just wasn't an extremely quick process and she could only heal what was under the dome. Any wound larger than the size of her dome and she'd have to heal in sections. Luckily she hadn't encountered many wounds that were too big for her healing abilities.
