Levana glanced over to Celestine once he had finished the drink and proceeded to clean the glass he had used. Honestly, she was a little surprised that he'd bothered cleaning the glass himself. She assumed that he would've just set the glass in the sink and that would've been the end of it. Then again, it was kind of unfair to think that every boy was like Yoichi when it came to dishes. She shifted a little and turned her eyes towards Marius when he came back into the area and held the brush out to Celestine. She'd been a little curious herself if Celestine was going to stay and eat, somehow she wasn't all that surprised to hear him say he wasn't really hungry. She watched him turn and head back towards the front door. Once he was out of her direct line of sight she checked on the biscuits and finally pulled them from the oven before leaving them to cool on top of the stove. After they were out she looked back over at Marius and smiled a little. "He had something to drink at least." She commented. Having something to drink made from the fresh fruits was a lot better than not having anything to drink at all, especially since he wasn't eating.
LaRae continued to look at Nanashi while he slept. She was debating with herself on whether or not she wanted to check on his cast. She didn't want to do anything that could accidentally wake him up and she was serious afraid that touching his arm long enough to peel that stuff off could wake him up. She sat there for a few moments and gave into the temptation. She just had to know if she'd screwed her's up and she wouldn't know for sure unless she checked his. She shifted again, this time so that she could reach over and pull the blanket off of him enough to expose his left arm. She glanced to his face briefly before she reached over and poked the cast a little. She sighed softly and then tried slipping her finger under the cast and pulling back on it a little. She was mentally cursing right about now seeing as his cast was indeed soft whereas her's was still hard. She sighed heavily and went ahead and started peeling the cast from his arm. Since she'd already messed with it she might as well take it off completely before covering him back up.

Celestine didn't waste very much time getting out of the house again once he had the brush, he just made his way onto the porch and shut the door behind him. Once outside, he took a deep breath before he started off of the porch and back onto the sand again. He glanced over to where he had been sitting and blinked when he didn't see Nobu. He took a couple of steps away from the porch and then looked around before he leaned over to look under the house. He smiled slightly when he saw Nobu back under the house and held the brush up where he could see it. "Come here," he said quietly, "I'll see what I can do." He smiled weakly at him and then moved over to the steps again and sat down near the bottom. He really didn't want to go crawling under the house after this. With his horn he could imagine sitting up would be a little difficult under there.
Marius sighed softly when Celestine started to leave and then shook his head slightly before glancing back to Levana. He watched her get out the biscuits and then nodded a little when she said that he had something to drink. "Well, that's good at least," he said softly. He glanced back toward the door again and placed his hand on his hip absently while he stood there but then glanced back to the breakfast again and smiled with a soft laugh, "Though I suppose the only thing that he might have been interested in would have been what was in the oven." He knew that Celestine wouldn't eat meat at all given any other option, so he guessed breakfast really hadn't looked all that appealing to him.
Nanashi didn't seem to be very aware of much of anything at first, at least not until after LaRae had been messing with the cast for a few seconds. He groaned softly and then turned his head slightly to the left and then opened his eyes slowly. He still looked extremely tired and it took his eyes a few moments to even focus on LaRae. "...H...hey..." he said quietly to her before he closed his eyes again. It was too hard to keep them open, he just wanted to know what was touching him, though he wasn't all that surprised to see LaRae. He clearly still wasn't feeling that well at all, and it probably wouldn't be but a few minutes before he fell asleep again. He definitely wasn't going to be getting up today for anything, at least not easily.

Nobu lifted his head slightly when he heard what he guessed was Celestine on the steps. He didn't bother budging an inch until after Celestine had found him and said for him to come. He really did hope that Celestine wasn't going to sneeze when he came near him. If Celestine did start sneezing again than he wasn't planning to stick too close to him especially since he wasn't completely sure what was causing the sneezing to begin with. He slipped out from under the house and started over to where Celestine had sat down. He did at least want something done with his fur and unfortunately he couldn't very well do it himself so he had no other option at the moment then to have Celestine brush him.
Levana glanced over to Marius after hearing that the only thing that Celestine would've been interested in might have been the biscuits. She quirked a brow slightly at that. She hadn't thought her cooking smelt that bad but then again she liked her own cooking so she wasn't likely to say anything bad about it. She stared over at Marius for a moment before she gave up trying to figure it out on her own and had to ask. "...I'm likely overlooking the reason, but why exactly is that?" She asked quietly. She hadn't known a dragon who wouldn't eat what she'd cooked for breakfast so she really was a bit surprised to hear that Celestine would only be interested in the biscuits that she'd cooked.
LaRae looked over at Nanashi briefly when she heard him speak and then continued to pull the cast from his arm until it was completely removed. After she had it all off she set it down in her lap and looked at him again before putting the blanket back over him. She'd noticed how tired he looked and assumed that he'd probably just go back to sleep. "...Sorry for waking you." She paused. "I was just removing your cast..." She said quietly. She continued to sit where she was for a moment before grabbing hold of the soft remains of the cast she'd pulled off his arm and started to swing her legs over her side of the bed once more.

Celestine waited for Nobu to to come and sit down in front of him and then ran his hand over his head before he started to brush him, being very careful around the top of his head where he had been injured before. He just started to work his way carefully down his neck, slowly getting around to making the fur lay down a little at a time. He really didn't mind grooming Nobu at all, honestly he rather enjoyed being able to take care of the animals. It was at least one thing that he could do well that made him feel pretty useful, and animals were still some of his favorite companions. He was pretty quiet while he worked, other than humming the quiet tune that he would usually play on his pipe when he was trying to relax. At least for how he seemed to be over the sneezing fits for a bit, though with the way that he was starting to feel there would be more to come later.
Marius blinked when Levana asked why he wouldn't be interested in anything else and then smiled weakly, "Oh, it's nothing to do with your cooking," he assured her, "Celestine...won't eat meat." He chuckled softly, "I guess he likes animals too much to think about eating them. He just sticks to fruits, wheat, and vegetables." He knew it was a strange diet for a dragon, but Celestine was a strange boy. "His mother was about the same way, given the option, but she wasn't quite as strict on herself." Celeste would at least eat meat if it was the main course offered, where as Celestine would rather nibble on toast. Perhaps it just had something to do with the type of dragon that Celestine was, but he had a feeling it was more of a mindset decision than a taste preference with Celestine.
Nanashi didn't open his eyes again when LaRae spoke. His only response was to mutter, "It's alright...," and settle further into the pillow. He was still very sore from his roll down the stairs so moving wasn't a very appealing option for him at the moment. He wasn't but a minutes later before he was already relaxed and asleep again.

Nobu sat quietly and let Celestine brush him. He was kind of glad that Celestine was willing to do this for him and he hoped that it didn't take too long to finish. He'd noticed that Celestine hadn't sneezed yet and he really hoped he made it through the whole process without a single sneeze. At least then he might be able to believe the sneezes were just because it was cold out rather than because he was allergic to him and his fur. He really didn't want to believe that Celestine could be allergic to him but that really was the first thing that came to mind.
Levana stared at Marius for a moment after he had answered her question. She really hadn't even thought that there were dragons who didn't eat meat. Somehow she figured that she should've picked up on that with as skinny as Celestine was. It was pretty much obvious that Celestine didn't eat like most did and she wouldn't be surprised if his diet had affected his growth at some point. She glanced back to the food she had cooked for a moment and shook her head lightly. "I'm fairly certain that he's the first dragon I've ever met that doesn't eat meat." She paused. "...and I've met quite a few dragons." She commented quietly.
LaRae looked back at Nanashi when she heard him say that it was alright and nodded weakly. She kept an eye on him for a few moments, at least until he had fallen back asleep. After he was asleep she carefully stood up from the bed and headed towards the bedroom door. She needed to throw the gunk in her hand away and she was interested in heading to the kitchen where she was positive the scent of the food had been coming from. She quietly opened the door and slipped out of the room, pulling the door shut all but a crack behind her. She stood near the door for a moment and glanced down at her own cast and her arm that she still couldn't move much at all. She sighed heavily and hoped that Hikari wasn't awake yet to see this. She'd know something was wrong just by looking at her and on top of that here she was throwing away the cast she'd pulled off Nanashi's arm. She finally stopped lingering by the door and started to head towards the kitchen.

Celestine continued to work diligently, carefully making his way down the back of Nobu's neck and on down to the center of his back. He was going to have to get Nobu to turn around or roll over in order to get the fur on the underside that was fluffing up. He at least managed to get down to around his haunches before he burrowed his face in his shoulder to avoid sneezing on Nobu. This one sent a shot of pain through his temples. He groaned softly and leaned his head forward, rubbing his temples with one hand for a moment before he glanced to the brush and started to pull all of the loose fur out of it before he let it fall to the ground. He was sure the wind would blow it away soon enough so he didn't really care where he tossed it.
Marius smiled weakly and then shrugged slightly. "...He is an odd one..." he said simply, that was really all he could say as far as why Celestine was like that. "He would about sooner starve than eat something that had been alive. As soon as he was old enough to understand where meat came from he refused to eat it, and if anyone tried to make him he just got sick, so it was easier to just let him eat what he wants." He glanced away from Levana again when he heard another feet of feet coming toward the kitchen and then smiled slightly when LaRae came into the kitchen. "Good morning, LaRae. How are you and Nanashi doing?" He knew she had stayed with Nanashi last night, so she was probably the only person who would know how he was doing. He tilted his head slightly in confusion at the sight of the green...whatever that was on her arm. "...?"

Nobu continued to sit patiently while Celestine was working. He wasn't terribly impatient but it helped that it felt nice to be brushed and it had been quite some time since he'd had anyone take the time to brush his fur out. He looked over at Celestine briefly when he heard him sneeze and then stared at him until he saw him start to clean out the brush. He stood up and moved away before Celestine could say a word to him. He had intended to shift so that Celestine could finish brushing him but that sneeze was enough to make him want to move away from him. He wasted very little time slinking back under the house. At least if he was under there he didn't think Celestine would bother trying to come under after him.
Levana shook her head lightly after hearing all of what Marius had said. Celestine certainly was a little strange when it came to eating. It was only natural to eat meat and the fact that Celestine would sooner starve himself was just... odd. She lifted her eyes slightly and looked over at LaRae when Marius said good morning to her and asked how she and Nanashi were. She couldn't help but notice the stuff that was on her arm and then she assumed by the color that there was more in her other hand. "...What in the world is that stuff, LaRae?" She asked curiously.
LaRae was relieved to see only Levana and Marius in the kitchen. She guessed that meant that Hikari was still asleep, which was good. She smiled slightly when she heard Marius say good morning and then ask how her and Nanashi were doing. "...Nanashi's pretty tired still but I think he'll be okay." She answered and then started to inch closer to the trashcan to throw away the soft remains of Nanashi's cast. She glanced over to Levana when she heard her question and then stared down at her cast before lifting her right arm and setting her hand over it. "...It's ...well, this special stuff that Hikari got from Kyran's uncle." She paused and sighed heavily. "...It hardens into a cast and can help heal bone." She explained in short. She knew that it wasn't going to unnoticed, but maybe since they'd been the ones to see it first they might be able to help her get it off before Hikari got up.

Celestine blinked when he saw Nobu moving away from him and stared blankly at him fro a second. "Wait a minute, I'm not finished," he called after him. He sat there for a moment and then watched as he went back under the house again. He sat there for a moment and then stood up and walked over to the edge of the house to kneel down, "Nobu? ...What's wrong?" he asked softly, sounding concerned since he hadn't given a reason for leaving. "Was I pulling your fur?" He didn't know if he had done something to make him uncomfortable or not, but then he remembered that he'd left right after he'd sneezed. He sighed heavily and then just fell forward on his hands and crawled up under the house to sit nest to Nobu, though he had to keep his head turned facing down toward the sand to avoid hitting his horn on the wood. "Nobu... I told you...I'm not getting allergies to you...if I am then I must be allergic to my grandfather, too." He sighed and ran his free hand over Nobu's fur gently. "...I think I'm getting sick, I just don't feel well...it's not you, okay?" he said gently. Of course had it been anyone but Nobu or Esen he never would have admitted to feeling ill. He already had his grandpa on his case, he wouldn't want anyone else on it too, especially when no one else was feeling well either. As far as he was concerned so long as he wasn't badly physically hurt he'd be fine.
Marius nodded slightly to LaRae when she said that Nanashi was still tired. "Well, that's to be expected..." he said gently, "I"m glad you're both doing well." He glanced to Levana when she noticed the cast as well and asked about it, then sighed softly when he heard her answer. "How is your arm fairing?" He asked after watching her throw away the other hand full of gunk. "...When is it supposed to come off?" he asked curiously. He had noticed the same thing on Nanashi's arm so something told him that it should already be coming off.

Nobu stared a bit in disbelief when Celestine actually dropped down onto his hands and followed after him. There went his hiding spot. If he couldn't go under the house to get away from him then there wasn't really anywhere that he could go. Rather then move away right away he stayed where he was and listened quietly to Celestine while he spoke. He thought briefly that maybe Celestine was right. He couldn't see Celestine actually coming under the house after him if he really was allergic to him, it just wouldn't make sense to him otherwise. '...If you're really getting sick then you shouldn't be under the house.' He paused and shook his head a little. 'You shouldn't be outside, actually. It's still chilly out.' He really did think that Celestine should be inside if he was getting sick and being out in this chilled air wasn't going to help one bit.
LaRae nodded her head weakly when Marius said that he was glad they were both doing well. She was doing alright for now, she guessed. She was a dead woman walking once Hikari got up and saw her arm. With as much as she fought Hikari when it came to healing she knew she'd never hear the end of this. She'd even been told to leave the cast alone and even if it was an accident that she'd cracked it Hikari would likely be more upset that it had stopped healing her arm because she'd screwed with it. She shuddered at the thought of Hikari finding out and then looked at Marius again when he asked about her arm. She sighed quietly. She didn't really want to fib, she wanted to have something done with it so that Hikari didn't have to. "...It isn't." She muttered quietly answering both of his questions at once. She turned her arm a little, as much as she possibly could and revealed the crack and the small piece that was missing at the top of the cast. "...I wasn't thinking last night ...and before it could harden completely it got really itchy and well... I tried to scratch it... which broke a chip off and then it cracked it." Her ears fell slightly after admitting that. "...It's still hard and I can't get it off." She paused. "...I also ...think it stopped healing when I cracked it..." She added lastly.
Levana stayed quiet while Marius asked his own questions and then continued to listen as LaRae answered everything that had been asked. She sighed softly after LaRae had said that the cast on her arm was still hard and that she couldn't get it off. If that was the case then it really wasn't doing any good to still be on her arm, if anything she thought it might even hinder the healing process a little. "We should probably figure out a way to get that off if it isn't doing anything, anymore." She said quietly, thinking aloud. She'd never seen anything quite like that before so she wasn't even sure where to start on removing it from her arm.

Celestine sighed heavily when Nobu said that he shouldn't be under the house. "...I'm only under here because you can't take my word for anything..." he muttered quietly, "...Besides, what's the difference between under the house and on the step?" He ran his fur along Nobu's back again gently and then shook his head a little when he said that he should be inside. "...I feel worse in there, the whole house stinks, it smells like cooked meat. Levana made bacon and sausage for breakfast..." Of course that was only a small half of the reason that he didn't want to be inside. He didn't want anyone hovering over him and trying to make him drink things. His stomach was already full from the juice that Levana had given him and as far as he was concerned that was enough for one day or at least for a good few hours. "Come on...I lived outside on a mountain for four years, it's not the first time I've sneezed a lot. You're starting to sound like Marius." He half smiled at him, "Now...are you going to roll over so I can finish what I started? You still look pretty funny."
Esen raised her head to look at Celestine and Nobu while they spoke, though she laid her ears back upon hearing that Celestine may be sick and wasn't going inside, though she couldn't blame him for not wanting to go in. After a moment she stood up and shook herself off a bit before walking over to where Celestine and Nobu were, though she only poked her nose over to Celestine and licked his cheek a couple of times before whimpering softly and nuzzling him.
Celestine glanced over to Esen when she started in their direction and then smiled and giggled slightly while she started licking his cheek. That was one sure way to make him feel better at any given time. He leaned his head against hers when she nuzzled him and then looked over to her, raising one hand to stroke her as he tilted his head. "Good morning, Esen," he said quietly. He scratched her ear for a moment and then looked back down to Nobu again and laid the brush, bristle side up in the sand before he put his other hand on his head. "Come on...give me a break... I'd rather stay out here with you two. Though...this is kind of uncomfortable..." He said as he glanced up at the wooden 'ceiling.'
Marius listened silently to the answer to his questions and then to the explanation that she gave. He quite honestly didn't really know what to make of the situation either. He moved closer and gently took a hold of her arm to eye the cast and then felt of it carefully, tapping it with his fingernail. He glanced back to Levana when she mentioned figuring out a way to get it off and then nodded slightly before he looked back to it again, "But it so hard to don't know how we could break it off without hurting her arm." After all, squeezing it or running something under it or even pulling it was going to put a strain on the bone. He looked at the crack that was already in it. "...Maybe if we could just...make the crack worse it would fall off..." He sighed and let her arm go again, "I'm honestly afraid to mess with it."

Nobu stared at Celestine for a moment and then shook his head lightly. He didn't really care that Celestine had lived outside on a mountain for four years. That really didn't mean anything except that he lived on a mountain for years and it was his choosing. It wasn't like he'd built up a resistance to getting sick or anything from that. 'I don't care for meat or the smell of it either but that's no excuse for not staying inside when you're possibly getting sick. Being out here in the chilly air is only going to make it worse and you really don't need to be getting sick.' He told him quietly. He really didn't want to see Celestine get sick and if he could do or say something to help then he was going to try... Or at least complain until something happened. He glanced to Esen briefly when she'd come over and kept quiet until after Celestine had said that he'd rather stay out here with them. He shook his head lightly again. '...You do know that I can go inside if you want me to and so can Esen... so you don't have to stay out here to be with us.' He paused. '...You really should go inside if you think you're getting sick... and... I'll agree to roll over and let you finish if you promise to go inside if you really are sick.'
Levana nodded a little in agreement with Marius. She wasn't sure that she wanted to mess with that cast either. There was a high chance that they'd cause more damage just trying to remove it from her arm. "...Deciding what to cook for breakfast certainly is simpler than this..." She commented quietly. "If we try to make the crack worse we're liable to hurt her unless there's something between her arm and that cast..." She mumbled quietly. "...It's a shame we can't talk to the person who created this stuff..."
LaRae let her eyes rest on the cast briefly when Marius moved closer and started to look it over. She sighed softly after listening to the two of them. At this point her arm was already broken so it wasn't like it could get too much worse. She needed to have the cast off and if neither of them could come up with an idea on how to remove it then she guessed she'd figure something out on her own. She at least wasn't afraid to hurt herself more just to get it off of her arm. The sooner it was off the better. "..So.. um.. I can try and get it off myself if you two are afraid of hurting me."

Celestine sighed heavily as he listened to Nobu again and then Glanced away. "...You know there are a few times that I wish you couldn't talk..." he said quietly, obviously a little agitated that he was pushing him so hard to go inside. "...I don't want to be indoors, alright?. Honestly, do you after yesterday?" He sighed softly and reached over to stroke Nobu's head again. "I can take care of myself alright? You don't need to worry about me, I'm fine... Forget I said anything..." He leaned down again and nuzzled his head against Nobu's. "Please...don't bug me about it. I'm brushing you for your sake, not mine. If you want to run around with half of your fur sticking up, that's really your problem." He sighed and just gave Nobu's head a quick kiss before he sat up again and picked up the brush before he started to crawl his way back out from under the house again. It was starting to hurt his neck sitting like that so he at least wanted to get to where he could straighten up his head.
Esen tilted her head a little and whined softly when she heard Celestine's response to Nobu. She knew that Nobu was just worried about Celestine's health, she was too, but she didn't really want to aggravate him by saying anything. She looked back down to Nobu and then turned her head slightly to watch Celestine try to back out from under the house. She stood there for just a moment and then just whined again before she flopped down onto the sand again with a disgruntled huff. She didn't know whether to follow him out or not, though she guessed if he refused to go inside sitting next to something warm was probably the next best thing. She looked over to Nobu and nudged him with her head a little. He'd probably be more likely to get Celestine to do something than she would.
Marius sighed softly when he heard Levana's response. "That would be a bit of a long trek..." he said in response to her last comment. His eyes went back to LaRae and he half smiled as he shook his head. "I think that would entirely defeat the purpose..." he said simply when she said that she could try to get it off herself. Somehow, with only one hand he didn't see her getting very far with that. He sighed again and then glanced back to Levana for a moment before he looked back down to the cast. "...The only two in this group that I can think of that knows much of anything about this sort of thing would be Hikari or Celestine, maybe one of them could come up with a better way to get it off. Hikari is still asleep I think, but Celestine's outside." He wasn't even sure that there was a way to get it off without hurting her. Moving her arm at all was going to hurt, and he just honestly didn't want to be the one to try to do it.

Nobu didn't have to listen to what Celestine said very long before he was already annoyed with him. Just hearing that there were a few times that Celestine wished he couldn't talk was enough to sting pretty badly. He didn't think that Celestine meant it to be hurtful, merely a comment but sometimes words hurt a lot worse than you'd ever expect. With that having been said first of course he didn't take much else of what Celestine had to say very well. He kept pretty still until after Celestine had started to crawl back out from under the house. He stared after him for a moment before averting his gaze. '...In all honesty I have absolutely no problem with being indoors after yesterday. I'm not afraid of being in a house with wide open windows and people I care about. It's only a house after all not some death chamber.' He grumbled. 'I won't bug you anymore about it, I won't even open my mouth. If you get sick it's your own damn fault because you can't take care of yourself. You couldn't even get out of that tower without stepping on glass and cutting up your own feet.' He huffed. 'You're just being a stubborn brat. You have no care whatsoever for your friends feelings or how what you say hurts them. I only spoke up because I care about you and I don't want to see you sick and here it's like you're telling me to stop caring about your well being... and all because you don't want to be indoors where it's warmer and better for your health.' He stood a little and started to creep over to another side of the house. 'At times like this Celestine, I really do wish I was just another stupid animal who couldn't talk or have thought processes like you dragons... and I feel so sorry for Esen. She's got you permanently in her life. She's worrying about you too and you're not going to listen to her either. You're going to wind up sick and all the people and animals who care about you are going to be worrying over you even more and of course wondering why you didn't just listen in the first place.' He shook his head and slipped out from under the house. Once he was clear of the house he shook his fur out. At this point he didn't care that only half of his fur was brushed out. He'd be able to find someone else to do it, maybe Kyran. He didn't want to wait for Celestine to have a chance to say anything more to him so he started walking off towards the house that Kyran was staying in. He'd be able to give Celestine the peace he wanted from his pestering if he just left all together and at least over with Kyran he didn't have to sit there and watch Celestine being stubborn and staying outside.
Levana glanced over to Marius and nodded her head weakly. Radha would certainly be a long trek, especially from Kairava. The boats to the main port could be quite the pain when it came to getting out of the territory. She looked back over at LaRae and then down at the cast. She was pretty sure that LaRae would have a hard time of getting the cast off herself but she wasn't about to rule that out. LaRae was an earth dragon after all and there were trees around here. She could probably rig something up if she tried. She shifted her attention back to Marius when he mentioned Hikari and Celestine. "...Hikari could probably be spoken to at least. I did heal her wound last night so she should only be suffering from fatigue." She commented and then looked over at LaRae a little surprised to see her shaking her head after the mention of Hikari. "...What's wrong?" She asked quietly.
LaRae was already disliking the idea of talking to Hikari or Celestine about getting the cast off. She didn't really want to bother Celestine was something like this and then Hikari, hell no. She was trying to keep this from Hikari so she didn't want to have to go ask her how to go about getting this thing off. She may have been over thinking it but she was pretty sure Hikari would blow up at her for this. She shook her head absently when Levana started mentioning that they could probably talk to Hikari about it. She stared over at Levana for a moment and then sighed quietly when she asked what was wrong. "...Hikari's going to be so mad at me for this ...I kind of didn't want to involve her if at all possible..." She shook her head again. "Telling her and so suddenly... may be the death of me."

Celestine stopped moving when Nobu started to speak again, though his ears only laid back when he heard his comment about the house. Alright, so maybe he was the only one that was still overly upset about the whole ordeal with being locked up yesterday. The idea of just going into anything confining right now didn't sit well with him at all, even being under the house like this was very unnerving with the low ceiling. Even just walking in long enough to get a hairbrush was enough to make him fidget and get antsy, he couldn't imagine staying in there all day and night. Unless he was half dead like he had bee in Caledonia he never stayed in a house or room all day, and that was on a good week. Celestine really did take claustrophobia to an extreme, but he really couldn't help it. Being indoors at all just made him panicky and that just made him feel even more sick, he couldn't relax indoors. He had a feeling that if he was inside everyone was going to want him to keep those windows closed, anyway, and no one was going to leave him alone and would probably be trying to force him to eat and drink when he didn't have the stomach for it. That's what usually happened at any rate, or at least had been his experience with Sonia. If they were open it would really be no different than being outside. He just felt his ears laying further and further back the more that Nobu went on about how he'd cut his feet yesterday and then even started calling him names. By then he could already feel his eyes watering, but he wasn't about to cry and give Nobu the satisfaction of knowing that he'd actually hurt his feelings. After all, Nobu apparently believed he didn't really care for his feelings, why should he bother expressing his own? Celestine could take care of himself just fine, at least most of the time. Yesterday just hadn't been a good day for anyone and Celestine hadn't been paying attention to where he was putting his feet or pain since he hadn't even really been aware that he was supposed to be in any, so he didn't think that was a very fair basis to say that he couldn't take care of himself. He just bit his lower lip and crawled the rest of the way out from under the house before he sat back and put the brush on the edge of the porch. He didn't really appreciate what Nobu had said about Esen, either. That mostly just sounded like Nobu didn't even want him in his life anymore and felt sorry that Esen couldn't get rid of him. He didn't even know really why Nobu was going off on him like that in the first place. He had meant nothing bad by anything that he'd said at all, he just wanted to be able to stay outside where he was comfortable and sit with him and Esen. After all, just sitting against them was enough to keep him warm, he didn't think he needed to be inside with everyone else on his case, too. He didn't want anyone worrying over him at all, he preferred to just be left to take care of himself and do it in his own way. Sure he may have been better off inside if being inside wasn't so hard on his nerves. Kanone was the only one that really knew just how bad things were when it came to him and his claustrophobia, only because he'd had to deal with it before. He doubted anyone else, even Marius, had an inkling of an idea just how much he hated being stuck inside. He watched Nobu as he headed toward the other house and then looked back toward the one he was standing in front of. He thought briefly about going inside, but he rather quickly decided against it. After all, he knew he looked upset right now and he didn't want Marius pestering him about it. The only reason that he wished Nobu couldn't talk sometimes was because he just wanted someone that he could sit with that wouldn't bother him too much and as much as he loved Marius, he could certainly bombard him with questions and concerns. Finally he just turned away from the house and started walking away, heading back in the direction of the bridge with his eyes glued to the sand. If the others didn't know where he was they wouldn't know he was sick and it wouldn't matter. He figured they would assume he'd gone back to the training center, which was where he was tempted to go except for the fact that Yoichi would be around there. He just wanted to find some place that he could be alone for a while, since Nobu didn't want to put up with him, and he kind of doubted that Esen did, either. Hell, he doubted anyone would be looking for him later, anyway. Everyone had more important things to worry about then where he was hiding at, and besides...why should they come looking for him? They never went looking for Nero when he went off on his own.
Esen's ears laid back even more when she heard what Nobu was saying to Celestine and she whined again quietly '...Nobu....' She didn't know why he had to bring her into this. Sure, she was worried, but she didn't think Celestine really needed to be talked to that way. After all, she could perfectly understand not wanting to be indoors, she didn't want to go inside either. If Celestine was too scared to go inside she didn't think he should be forced. She watched as Nobu started away and then looked at Celestine when he moved the rest of the way out from under the house before she crawled out after him and looked up at him. He didn't seem to be paying much attention to her but she could tell he looked pretty upset, as had Nobu when he left. She tilted her head when Celestine started to walk away and then started to hurry after him, at least until they got closer to the other house. She stopped with one foot still in the air and looked over at Nobu befroe looking after Celestine again and whining. '...Celestine....' she called after him quietly, but she didn't think that he even heard her. She watched him for a long moment and then looked back to Nobu again before turning her gaze back to Celestine. Finally she just whined again and laid down where she was, obviously not sure who she wanted to go after. Nobu seemed pretty peeved and Celestine seemed like he might want to be alone, so she guessed the best place for her was just...right here in the middle of the sand until she thought it was safe to approach someone.
Marius blinked when he heard LaRae's answer to Levana's question and then chuckled softly. "...I wouldn't worry too much about it... She may be upset, but I highly doubt she would try to kill you. That would just be one more thing that she would have to fix up." He glanced down at the cast again and then sighed, "...Well, I'm running a bit out of ideas... Even once it's off, I'm sure it's going to need to be replaced and Hikari is the only one that knows how to work it. After all, we can't very well let you wander around with a broken arm." Even if Hikari couldn't do anything about it they would have to have someone look at it. The break would only get worse the longer that it was left to dangle free like that.

Nobu continued straight over to the other house without so much as looking back. Rather then going under the house like he did on the other one he climbed up onto the porch and moved over towards the door. He then moved again so that he was standing just off to the side of the door, beside the wall. He laid himself down and rested his head to his paws while wrapping his tails around himself. He wasn't the least bit sorry for the things that he had said to Celestine and currently he didn't care too much how it affected him. He was annoyed to no end with Celestine. Even if he was claustrophobic it was still better to be inside when you were sick. At least inside you could be warmer, even with the windows open. Being outside there just wasn't any protection from the ocean breeze, even if surrounded by furry warm canines. At any rate, it'd be Celestine's own fault if he wound up sick.
Levana sighed softly after hearing what LaRae had said. She wasn't exactly sure what would even give LaRae that impression. Hikari seemed sweet enough and she didn't see Hikari as the type to be mad enough to kill over something like this. It was an accident after all and LaRae was here trying to get help to fix the problem. She glanced over to Marius briefly when he mentioned that they couldn't let her wander around with a broken arm. "If we can get the cast off of her arm I can splint and sling her arm until Hikari has recovered fully." She paused. "Once Hikari has regained her energy then she could fix her arm." She said with a slight nod. She didn't really think that Hikari needed to go healing anything right away. It'd be better for her to rest up first, at least in her opinion and she was fairly certain LaRae's arm could handle a splint and sling until then.
LaRae nodded very weakly hearing what Marius said. Hikari may not actually kill her after she finds out what happened but she may want to, or at least beat her severally. She glanced down at the cast momentarily when Marius said that they couldn't let her wander around with a broken arm. She'd already been doing that for awhile. After pulling the cast off of Nanashi's arm she was almost positive that hers stopped working when she cracked it. Which meant this whole time it'd been broken. She glanced between the two of them for a moment and then sighed quietly. "...So... no idea's on how to get it off other than asking Hikari if she has any idea's?"

Celestine barely even heard Esen when she called after him and he had no intention of stopping. He walked right up to the bridge without looking up or even gracing the guards with a glance as he walked. He was still trying not to cry and the best way to do that seemed to be keeping his eyes on the ground. Once he got off of the bridge and got a little way away from it he looked up slowly and glanced toward the training building briefly, thinking about going there for a moment, but he didn't really want to deal with anyone there either. He sighed and turned away, absently heading for one of the other bridges that wasn't being guarded. He knew there was nothing out there bout houses, but he wasn't likely to run into anyone that would bother him there. He didn't really want to be anywhere where someone was going to see him or anything, he was just looking for a good place to go hide. He half thought about going under the bridge but the water level was too high for him to fit under there. He sighed and just continued a little further along the island. He didn't look at anyone that happened to be outside at the moment nor did he really stop, though he was trying to avoid most of the areas where the houses were. He had no idea that he was wandering around on the island that Yoichi lived on, but he still didn't really care. As soon as he came to an area that was rich in trees and bushes and didn't look like it was on anyone's property he slipped between the palm trees and sank down with his back resting against one while he pulled his legs up to his chest and wrapped his arms around them tightly while he wrapped his tail around himself as well. He sat there in complete silence for a few moments simply staring down at the sand and hearing over what Nobu had said to him in his mind. His ears fell back again while he sat there. He really did care what everyone else thought, he just didn't want them to be worried about him. It wasn't even that he was being stubborn just because he didn't want to be indoors, he was just afraid to stay indoors, not that he would admit that to anyone. He knew it was absolutely stupid and illogical but he still couldn't help the panic attack that hit him. After all he had never been that good with staying indoors and after yesterday he was even having nightmares about being stuck somewhere in a tiny space. He really wasn't trying to be a pain for anyone, he really just though it would be better if he stayed outside. He was used to staying outside even when he was sick so he didn't know what it would hurt for him to stay on the porch or something instead of actually inside the house. The outer wall could block the wind as well from that side as it could from the other. He felt his eyes watering up again and eventually could feel the tears sliding down his cheeks. He didn't bother to wipe them away. After all no one was here to see him, which only really made it feel worse. He had been spoiled the last month or so with always having Nobu close by to be of some comfort. He really didn't like being completely alone that much. Even one of the 'dumb' animals was better than nothing. He missed Lani and Kyiri right bout now and half wondered why Esen hadn't followed him. Hell, maybe she was mad at him for not doing what he was told, too. He didn't know, and he didn't plan on going anywhere for a while to see. He planned to just sit right here until he got his emotions back until control...then he would go back and see about finding somewhere to stay warm that wasn't exactly indoors.
((lol. How sad is it this all spawned from Nobu convincing himself that Celestine was getting allergic to him and Celestine having to tell the truth to convince him otherwise so he'd sit with him? XD And he's still Nobuless. lol.))
Marius glanced back to Levana when she said that she could put a splint on her arm and put it in a sling until Hikari could get to it and then nodded. Well, that certainly sounded a lot better than breaking off that cast and just letting her go. He sighed again when he heard LaRae's question and then looked back to her again before he shook his head. "...Not really... the only thing that I could think to do would be to try to crush it and that would only hurt your arm when it broke if one of us was even strong enough to managed it. As soon as the cast broke the pressure would go straight to your arm. I don't know that we could get anything under it to try breaking it that way either. Any way we go I have a feeling it's going to hurt you."
Kanone was finally starting to coma around, though it was a couple of hours before the time that he usually woke up during the day. He was still very groggy but the smell of the food in the kitchen had finally aroused him from his slumber. He sat up and swung his legs over the side of the bed before he got up, rubbing his eyes a bit as he walked out of the room and toward the kitchen. He yawned as he came up behind LaRae and dropped his chin down on her right shoulder without any warning to announce his arrival. It was obvious that he was still dog tired for the fact that his eyes were only half open and still had sleep boogers in the corners. "...I smell food."
Marius blinked when Kanone dropped in and completely interrupted the flow of conversation. "Wow...this is the first I've seen you out of bed before noon in a while."
"Whaaaat...? I'm hungry... I didn't get to eat yesterday..." He even sounded half asleep...and whiny on top of it. He yawned and then leaned his head against LaRae's. "You're comfortable."
Marius sighed and shook his head, holding his fingers to his temples. "...Sometimes I can't believe we're related." He looked back to him again, "If you're hungry then get something to eat, LaRae is not a mobile pillow. We were in the middle of discussing something."

LaRae had pretty much already come to the conclusion herself that getting the cast off of her arm wasn't going to be an easy feat and on top of that it was likely to hurt her arm worse. Of course hearing that Marius had thought the same thing only reinforced what she thought herself. She actually didn't mind so much that it would more than likely hurt more before it got better. She also didn't think that it got much worse than broken bones. She was half tempted to just go and bust the cast open herself since everyone else seemed to be afraid of hurting her. She was almost positive that she could break it herself, using magic of course and it would likely hurt once she'd broken the cast off but at least it would be off and no one else would be to blame for hurting her worse. She sighed quietly and was about to open her mouth to speak to Marius but paused with her mouth open when she felt something on her shoulder. She hadn't even heard Kanone behind her so she was a bit surprised when she glanced over and saw him leaning his chin on her shoulder. She glanced back to Marius briefly when he started addressing Kanone. After the mobile pillow comment on top of being told she was comfortable she couldn't help but chuckle quietly. She didn't mind that she was currently being used for a pillow though she did have something a little more important to deal with and Kanone had unfortunately interrupted a conversation. "At least you know how he's feeling if he's got an appetite and that of all things is what got him up so much earlier than normal." She said quietly.
Levana was a little surprised herself to see Kanone appear like he had. She hadn't really expected to see him up and about just yet. Then again she really had no idea how well Hikari's healing was. She had kind of expected Kanone to still be bedridden for at least another day. Well, that was only coming from the knowledge of the healers in her clan. Water dragons weren't necessarily meant to be healers so of course there were differences in the abilities between light and water dragons when it came to such things. She merely smiled when she heard that he was hungry and the way he'd said it. Judging by his leaning on LaRae like he was she wasn't so sure she wanted to trust him with a breakable plate so she stepped closer to the counter again and pulled a plate from the cupboard before she started to pile a little of everything on it. After the plate had little to no remaining empty space she started over to the table with it and then set it down in front of a chair. "Here, Kanone." She paused as she looked over at him. "I made plenty, so eat up." She said as she started back over to the counter to fix him something to drink as well.

Kanone sighed softly and closed his eyes when he heard Marius getting onto him. He just grumbled incoherently and raised a hand to rub his eyes again before he glanced over to LaRae and half smiled. He yawned again and then froze when he heard him name from Levana. He looked at her, his mouth still open before he finally closed it and blinked, looking at her groggily for a moment before he realized that she had already set him a plate at the table. He smiled slightly, his tail waving a little behind him as he straightened up a little and started over in that direction. He still had an ugly bruise on his torso where he had bled and he was still suffering from the effects of the blood loss, which was part of the reason that he was still so tired, but he really was hungry and his stomach was throwing a fit at him considering that the only thing it had gotten in it yesterday was the blood that he had swallowed, and that had only upset it. He hoped eating would calm it down so he could go back to bed and rest in peace. "Thanks..." he said quietly before he pulled out the chair and dropped into it heavily. He looked at the food for a moment and then went straight for a biscuit, wanting to try that before he went on to anything greasy. He wasn't so sure his stomach would like a grease bomb right off the bat.
Marius watched Kanone and then blinked when he realized that Levana had gotten him a plate. He half smiled and watched him go to the table before he sighed and looked back to LaRae. "Ha ha...sorry about that," he said softly, "I don't know what to do with him." He looked at Levana as she started to come back over in their general direction. He smiled warmly at her and then chuckled softly. "You know you don't have to wait on him," he told her. After all, Kanone was perfectly capable of getting the food himself. He glanced over to Kanone and then sighed softly. He really wished Celestine would have stayed in long enough to eat, but as soon as he handed him that brush he'd been out of here like a bat out of hell.

Levana nodded her head lightly after she heard Kanone's thanks and continued to the counter near the pitcher so she could pull down another glass from the cupboard. She glanced over to Marius briefly after she'd pulled a slightly larger glass down than the one she'd gotten before for Celestine. "I know that." She responded. "It isn't everyday that I get to make breakfast and wait on others." She paused. "Unlike you I happen to be stuck living a spoiled life where I'm not even supposed to clean up after myself, so I'm enjoying this." She chuckled quietly. "Besides... these dishes are very much breakable and he's not quite fully awake. It would be the luck of the draw that he'd fix his own plate and wind up dropping it, breaking the plate in the process." She said as she poured the fresh juice into the glass and then proceeded to carry it over to the table to set down near Kanone.
LaRae shook her head slightly. "It's alright... and if it had bothered me I'd have moved." She said honestly. She glanced between the three of them briefly before looking back down at her arm, specifically the cast. She really did need to get that off and standing here trying to find a safer way to remove it wasn't getting her anywhere. Not to mention her stomach was already starting to gripe at her. She'd gotten up with the intention of eating but now that was postponed until she got her arm taken care of. She sighed softly and glanced back towards the front door. "I guess I'll be right back." She said as she started to turn and head towards the door. She couldn't think of any way to remove the cast that didn't involve using her magic to forcefully break it off and luckily she had seen trees outside last night. There weren't many of them but she didn't need but one.

Marius smiled slightly at Levana when she made the comment about being spoiled and then laughed softly, "Yes, yes... No one spoils me, I'm easily replaceable," he said with a laugh, "I wish they would hurry up and get on that." He smiled and shook his head slightly, "Hmm....then again, maybe not," he amended. Really the wind dragons were elected as elders but once you were elected...you were pretty much stuck with the job until you keeled over or were just too old and senile to manage it anymore. Obviously he wasn't one of the most enthusiastic about being an elder, but he did get his job done properly. He was one one that had first brought it to the attention of the other elders about Vahagn's seal weakening, in the first place through a dream, though of course they had made certain that the seal really was weakening before raising any alarms. He chuckled again, "Well, I suppose he can't complain. He loves being waited on...lazy freeloader that he is," he said with a half smile. He glanced over to Kanone briefly and then looked at LaRae when she said that she would be right back. He sighed and then nodded slightly. "...Be careful, LaRae..." he called after her softly, though he was really tempted to follow her out. He remained where he was for a moment and then sighed before he moved over to lean against the wall. He had no intention of eating just yet, at least not until LaRae was able to and Levana, too for that matter. Had Kanone not been injured the day before he probably would have made him wait a little as well, but he didn't bother to say anything to him about it.
Kanone wasn't really paying that much attention to what anyone was saying, even when they were talking about him. He was just tired and only really interested in eating. He startled slightly when Levana sat the cup next to him and blinked as he stared at it before he smiled weakly. "Um...thanks..." he said again quietly before he sighed. He really looked like he was about ready to use his egg as a pillow and go back to sleep sitting up right here, even with the food right in front of him. His stomach really wasn't letting him off the hook either, and the biscuit didn't seem to help much. Now that he was upright again and awake he was already starting to feel nauseous, and the food only made it worse after he tried to eat it. "Um...ex...excuse me..." he said weakly as he got up, putting his hand over his mouth. He knew he was going to be sick, there really was no avoiding it. At least once he got the blood out of his stomach maybe it would settle and he could actually eat. As soon as he was on his feet he made a dash to the bedroom that he'd been sleeping in and then dove into the bathroom, slamming the door behind him.

Levana started back towards the kitchen, glancing briefly after LaRae had started for the door. She looked over at Marius and shook her head slightly. "I'll become pretty useless once my replacement is finished learning all there is to learn." She started. "Then I'll be nothing more than an aid for my replacement. Well... I'll still be spoiled, just not to the same extent." At least in the water clan the elders were well respected throughout their training and all the way until they were no longer elders, but mere aids to the newer elders. Once they were aids they could go back to living normal lives for the most part. She glanced back towards Kanone briefly when she heard him excuse himself and saw him make a mad dash back towards the room he'd been using with his hand over his mouth. Her ears laid back a little and she looked over at Marius after Kanone was well out of the room. "...Don't tell me he's anti-meat too? Or was it my cooking..." She hadn't seen how much Kanone had tried to eat, nor did she bother looking at the plate to find out. Her first thought was that maybe Kanone was like Celestine but if he was than surely he would've refused the plate, so... maybe her cooking was no good?
LaRae glanced back briefly when she heard Marius tell her to be careful and nodded her head weakly. Careful? Right. That was likely impossible. After all she was going to break a cast off her arm that may as well have been as hard as stone. What part of that sounded careful at all? She wasn't worried though, at least not right now. She slipped outside onto the porch once she reached the door and made sure to close it behind her. She took a moment to glanced around a bit, looking for a decent tree. Any old tree would probably do, but the older it was the better. At least in her own personal opinion. She didn't care for using young trees to aid with her magic, it was just her preference if she could have one. She stepped off the porch and onto the sand, only now realizing with the sand between her toes that she'd never slipped into her boots after getting in bed last night. She sighed quietly and headed off a little diagonally to the front of the house. A decent sized palm sitting there waiting for her. She was thankful that this island wasn't like the smaller ones they had been on yesterday. Those darn things didn't even have a blade of grass. Once she reached the tree she knelt down to her knees and then sat herself down carefully. She was already pretty sure that she'd want to be sitting for this. If she wasn't she would likely end up in the sand anyway if this hurt too badly.

Marius simply smiled slightly at Levana and laughed softly, "Well, thank goodness for that," he said rather playfully when she said that she wouldn't be spoiled to the same extend. "It sounds enough to drive a person up the wall, though that may just be because I'm used to doing things myself...except for cooking, I don't think I'm ever going to get that one down to where it's fit for anyone." He blinked when he noticed Kanone get up and make a run for it and then glanced back to Levana again. He sighed softly and shook his head to answer her question. "Oh no... Kanone will eat just about anything you set in front of him..." He smiled weakly at her and then sighed, "No, I'm sure your cooking is fine... If not I'm almost equally sure he'll let you know." He rolled his eyes just a little and then stepped away from the wall, obviously not thinking highly of his grandson's manners. He reached over to put a hand on Levana's shoulder gently, "He probably just wasn't feeling as well as he thought he was. It's a rare occasion when he gets sick to his stomach, he might have just thought he was having hunger pangs...or something." He finally shrugged before he glanced back toward the door again with a sigh, half wondering if he should go check on him or just leave him be and let him come back on his own.
Kanone wasn't in there too long. After all, there wasn't a whole lot in his stomach to begin with, though once it was empty it did feel a lot better. He washed out his mouth in the sink once he was finished and then just stood there for a few moments catching his breath before he glanced at the mirror, half surprised to see that he was clean. He'd never gotten around to washing off last night before he crashed, though thankfully someone seemed to have done it for him. He would have felt a little bad if he'd forgotten about that and went out to eat looking like he'd come in. He sighed and stepped away from the counter before going back to the door again. Most of what had ended up flushed was blood and stomach acid along with about three bites of biscuit, so he hoped that maybe now he could try it again and actually keep it down since he wasn't feeling sick anymore. He sighed as he exited the bedroom again and glanced back toward the kitchen while absently pushing his hand back through his hair and then sighed as he started back in that general direction.

Levana was at least a little relieved to hear Marius say that Kanone would eat just about anything set in front of him. She couldn't imagine having met two vegetarian dragons in such a short period of time. She nodded her head slightly when he said that Kanone would probably let her know if the food she'd cooked wasn't very good. Since she didn't really get to cook all that often she did kind of fear that whatever she cooked wasn't as good as she thought it was. She smiled a little after Marius put his hand on her shoulder. She nodded her head again lightly after hearing Marius. She hadn't thought about that before since Kanone was already up and moving but it did kind of make some sense that he probably wasn't feeling as well as he thought he was. She felt better about her cooking now, thanks to Marius. She looked over at Kanone when she caught sight of him coming back in this direction. "...Are you feeling alright?" She asked once he was back in the room.
LaRae sighed softly as she looked over at the cast on her arm again. She really wished that she hadn't tried to scratch her arm when it got itchy. The cast wouldn't be there any longer if she'd just left it alone, but no, she had to go and try to scratch that darn itch. She shook her head a little and set her right hand down on the sand near the tree. She sank her fingers into the sand and moments later the usual earthy green aura had appeared around her hand. After a moment a single root crept out from the sand and started to slink over to her left arm. She had a little trouble lifting her arm up properly so the root wrapped itself gently around her arm and lifted it up for her. She had the root move her arm out a little from her before it started to tighten around the cast. Her roots were considerably smaller than they used to be and she probably would have thought nothing of it except for the fact that no matter how tight she made this one root it wasn't cracking the cast. It was almost like it wasn't doing anything at all. She sighed heavily and forced another root out of the sand. She had kind of forgotten that the mark on her back had grown while they were in Caledonia. She hadn't really used her magic since then so she hadn't noticed how much it had affected anything. She had the second root wrap itself around the cast as well, just going in the opposite direction before having it tighten. She sucked in a breath quickly once she started feeling the pressure from the roots tightening. She continued to have the roots tighten, if her arm wasn't already the way it was she was pretty sure that this much pressure would surely cut off all circulation and turn her arm purple. It hurt, a lot and she was already trying to press her face into her knees to keep quiet. She was just about ready to give up on this idea since it didn't seem like anything was happening and she could only take so much of this, quietly. She lifted her head a little and was getting ready to stop, at least until she felt the cast starting to crack under the pressure of the roots. She stared down at the root covered cast and her ears twitched a little as she heard the cast starting to break a little. She sighed briefly and forced the roots to tighten even more. As soon as she did that she buried her face in her knees. She continued to let the roots tighten and break the cast little by little until they finally broke the cast completely. She hadn't been paying complete attention since what she was doing hurt and once the cast was broken, it broke into a couple pieces and the roots kept tightening which forced the pieces to cut into her arm. Her eyes widened when she felt the pieces cutting into her arm and she cried out in pain a little louder than she intended to. On top of that, with the cast gone there wasn't anything there to protect her arm from the roots and they'd managed to make a mess of her arm before she could get them off. Once the roots had released her arm and sank back into the sand she fell back in the sand with her right hand clamped over her arm. The cast was off at least but now she had a nice friction burn from the roots along with a few semi deep cuts from the cast. She was also fairly certain that she'd broken her arm a little worse as well.

Kanone looked at Levana when she spoke to him and smiled weakly, "...Yeah, I'm okay... Sorry about that." He sighed softly and then shook his head, "...I don't think my stomach appreciated the only thing I did swallow yesterday." Mostly that just just been blood and salt water.
Marius lowered his hand from Levana's shoulder and looked at Kanone for a moment. "...You should probably go lay down and try to sleep a little more..." he said softly.
"But I'm still hungry," he whined as he glanced back over to his food again. He did at least sound a little better than he had when he'd first gotten up. He started to scoot back over toward the table and then reclaimed his seat and picked up the biscuit that he'd started on again. His stomach just grumbled at the mere smell of the bacon and sausage. Still, he forced himself to take small bites and not just cram everything he could down at once. He was sleepy and hungry but he didn't want to make himself sick by eating like a hog.
Marius just watched him go and then shook his hear with a quiet chuckle, at least until he heard something that sounded like a yelp. He blinked and looked toward the doors, though he half doubted that he'd heard anything in the first place since it was very faint and he wasn't even all that confident in his hearing anymore. Once up on a time his hearing has been as good as Celestine's but it was fading a bit, though it was by no means dull just yet. He glanced back to Levana for a moment and then smiled weakly, "I'll be right back, I'm going to go check on LaRae and see how she's coming along." With that he turned and started to walk toward the front doors.
Esen's ears perked up when she heard the loud yelp and she raised her head off of her paws long enough to look back toward the other house. She tilted her head whens eh saw LaRae and then got up and shook herself a little to shake the sand from her fur before she turned around and started back in that direction. Sitting there staring off in the direction that Celestine had gone wasn't going to get him back here any faster, unfortunately. She sighed as she drew closer to LaRae, timidly, and then whined softly when she caught the scent of blood. Once she made it up beside LaRae she looked at her injured arm and then nuzzled her hand very gently with her head before she raised it up to lick her cheek. She couldn't really do anything to help other than sit with her and try to be comforting though since she wouldn't speak to any of the dragons except for Celestine or Kanone unless she absolutely had to.

Levana smiled a little after Kanone had responded to her question. She glanced over to Marius for a brief moment when he started to tell Kanone that he should probably try and get some more sleep. She kind of agreed with that but if the boy was hungry enough to come back and try to eat again than his stomach would probably prohibit him from going back to bed until he'd put something in it. She shook her head a little with a faint trace of a smile after hearing Kanone whine again about being hungry. She looked back to Marius again when he said that he was going to go check on LaRae. She nodded her head lightly and watched him momentarily while he headed towards the doors before opening her mouth. "Um.. could you see if she can some up with something to use so I can splint her arm?" She paused. "That is... if she's gotten the cast off..." Her hearing was in no way as good as a wind dragon's could be so she hadn't even heard what caught Marius' attention. She turned her attention to the cupboard for a moment and pulled herself down a glass and started to pour a drink before she glanced back towards Kanone at the table. "...If you have any trouble with that, let me know." She paused. "I can try and make something that will be a little easier on the stomach."
LaRae didn't bother moving from where she was laying in the sand. She was still holding onto her arm waiting for the pain to subside enough for her to get up. She really hadn't thought it was going to hurt like that and she felt a little stupid for not paying attention to the roots and stopping them before they did as much damage as they did. Her friction burn covered from her wrist all the way to just past her elbow. The roots that had wrapped around her arm had to have somewhere to go as they wrapped and tightened. She started to lift her hand a little after Esen had nuzzled her hand and decided to put it back down on her arm. It probably had blood on it and she didn't want to go touching Esen and getting blood on her fur. She turned her head slightly after she felt Esen lick her cheek. She stared over at her for a moment and then smiled softly. "I'll be okay, Esen." She told her quietly. Esen was really sweet, especially for showing concern over a person that she barely even knew. She continued to lay there for a few more brief moments before she finally took her right hand off of her arm and started to try and push herself up into a seated position again. She struggled a little but managed to get upright. She was about to put her hand right back over top her arm but paused and looked down at her hand seeing it was coated in sand everywhere that there was blood. She sighed heavily. She couldn't very well go putting that over her arm now.
