Kyran shook his head lightly after hearing Marius apologize. "No need to apologize, I was already awake even before Celestine showed up." He glanced down to Nobu briefly after hearing Marius say that a little bird had told him that Celestine was here and not feeling well. Nobu may not have been a 'little bird' but if he'd heard him correctly the other day he could talk which would make him very capable of telling Marius what was going on. He lifted his eyes and looked back to Marius once he had heard him ask if he could come inside. He immediately nodded his head. "Yes, of course." He told him as he stepped to the side so that he wasn't blocking the door any longer. He guessed that with Marius here there wasn't really anything he needed to do, though he thought it wouldn't hurt to at least make sure he wasn't needed for anything before he left the room.

Nobu glanced between Marius and Kyran momentarily, at least until Marius had moved to peek inside of the room. He waited until after Kyran had moved out of the doorway to step closer himself. Rather than going inside and adding to the crowd of people and animals forming he stayed out in the hall just beside the door so that he could easily see inside.

Cyndel 04-02-2009 08:24 AM

Marius nodded to Kyran when he told him that he could come inside and then slipped into the room once he'd given him room to get through the door. He offered him another slight smiled and then sighed heavily as he walked over to the bed and then sat down on the edge while looking back at him. He half smiled at him and then shook his head a little. "Looks like you had a rough night," he said simply as he reached over to him and ran his hand up under his bangs and leaving it to rest on his forehead. He sighed when he felt how warm he was and then lowered his hand to his cheek where he turned it over and let the back of his fingers rest against him. "So...care to explain what possessed you to stay out in the rain?"

Celestine groaned softly and glanced up at Marius when he felt his hand on his forehead. Marius's hand was cool against his skin, so he couldn't really complain about it being there. He sighed heavily and then shut his eyes when Marius asked him why he stayed out in the rain. "...I didn't know it was going to rain... I fell asleep outside and the thunder woke me up...few seconds later I was already getting soaked." His voice was very scratchy and quietly, and talking more like that caused him to start coughing again.

Marius sighed and pushed his fingers back through Celestine's hair gently while he coughed and then let his hand rest against his head again. He chuckled softly. "So what caused you to go changing form?" he asked curiously as he started to get up to go get a damp cloth for his head.

Celestine groaned and curled up a little more when Marius asked why he'd changed forms. "I do not want to talk about it..." he groaned quietly, his face already turning a few shades darker red.

Marius shook his head a little and then smiled and walked over to the bathroom door before slipping inside before going to the basket that had the wash clothes. He took one and turned on the cold water before drenching the clothe and then wrung it out and started to fold it as he walked back to the bed and then pushed Celestine's bangs back before he pressed the cloth to his forehead and got him to roll over a little so that it would stay.

Yotsy 04-02-2009 09:36 AM

Kyran watched as Marius proceeded over to the bed to have a look at Celestine. He continued to stand there while Marius was trying to question Celestine. He guessed one answer out of two questions was better than none. He'd actually been a little curious himself as to the details behind Celestine's changing forms like he had but it was pretty clear that he didn't want to talk about it and wasn't likely to say a word to anyone. At least he assumed that since just bringing it up made his face turn a darker red. He shook his head lightly and decided to step out of the room while Marius was in the bathroom. He couldn't help thinking that maybe Celestine would be more comfortable talking about things if he didn't have so many people listening in. He sighed quietly once he was out in the hall and glanced down at Nobu. He hadn't gotten a chance to test and see if he'd heard correctly the other day and he guessed that perhaps now was as good a time as any, especially since Nobu wasn't really doing anything but standing beside the door. He reached down and patted the top of Nobu's head lightly before he headed across the hall back to the room that he was using. He paused at the door and motioned for Nobu to follow him with his head as he stepped into the room and headed over towards the bed to sit down.

Nobu looked up at Kyran briefly once he'd exited the room. His attention was rather easily pulled right back to the room where Celestine was. He was concerned for his health after all. He didn't look up at Kyran again until he patted his head and then watched as he started to head back to the other room. Had he not been watching him he wouldn't have caught him motioning for him to follow. He glanced back to the room Celestine was in for a moment and then started across the hall to Kyran. He knew Celestine was in good hands so it wasn't like it was going to hurt anything for him to spare some time away from hovering to see what Kyran wanted. He continued into the room and sat down on the floor just ahead of where Kyran had sat on the bed. He tilted his head to side slightly, actually a little curious to know what Kyran wanted. It had been quite awhile since he'd been pulled to the side like this by him.

Kyran stared down at Nobu for a moment after he'd come into the room and sat down. He wasn't even sure how to start. It was a little weird, at least to him to come right out and ask a dog if it could talk. It just went against all logic for a dog to be able to talk, or at least he'd thought that anyway. Then again Nobu wasn't exactly a dog... He continued to sit there quietly, clearly debating with himself on whether or not he even wanted to open his mouth. He finally caved and looked at Nobu again. He sighed quietly. "...This is going to sound completely weird and probably make me look like an idiot..." He started. "...But ...Nobu ...you did talk to me the other day ...right?" He asked quietly and honestly a little embarrassed by it.

Nobu sat there patiently while he waited for Kyran to say something. He noticed easily enough that what ever it was he was having a little trouble deciding whether or not he was going to say it. He kept sitting there, mostly because it would be his luck that the moment he got up to leave Kyran would be about ready to speak and then see him leaving and shut up. He shook his head lightly once he finally heard Kyran's question. Obviously Kyran didn't believe what he heard the first time, at least not very easily. He'd already spoken to him once so there wasn't really a need to avoid doing it from now on. '...Yes, I did talk to you.' He answered and then shook his head again after seeing Kyran's face. It never really got old seeing the pure look of surprise on someone's face when they found out that he could talk. It was almost amusing enough to make you want to go around and tell everyone, just to see the look on their face.

Cyndel 04-02-2009 12:19 PM

Celestine glanced to Kyran when he decided to leave, half glad to see him go. After all he wasn't in much of a talking mood anyway and it was pretty embarrassing having his grandfather feeling his head and questioning him while he was laying in a bed naked under a blanket in front of a guy that he'd barely known two months. Once Marius placed the cloth on his head he sighed and closed his eyes again while he turned over on his back and moved his arm up to keep it in place. for a moment before he draped his arm over his chest again. He coughed again softly and then sighed again.

Marius smiled weakly at Celestine when he rolled over and then glanced over to see that Kyran had removed himself. After a moment he looked back to Celestine again and started to stroke his hair again absently. Short of when he was poisoned in Caledonia he hadn't had much of a chance to take care of him in a while, so he was kind of glad to be here since he was feeling so crummy. His gaze softened when he started to cough and then he sighed. "Nobu told me you have a sore throat..." he started softly, "though I could have gathered that by listening to you try to talk." He moved his hand to lay on Celestine's chest and patted him lightly. "...Are you going to tell me what happened at Aamori's family's house and why your side hurts or leave me guessing?"

Celestine sighed quietly when Marius asked what had happened again and then cracked his eyes open again and looked at him. "...Yoichi loaned me some dry clothes and let me sleep in his bed...I woke up sometime before morning with a fever...and Yoichi went to get me some water.........I didn't really want it and he made me drink it....." His face started to turn red again at the mention of it, though he wasn't going into detail and had no intention of it. "...So I tried to leave and he stopped me....and I accidentally changed forms... He took the clothes he loaned me and put them somewhere along with mine then went back to bed. When he got up he told me not to come out of his room while in that form or his parents would probably hurt me... I was trying to tell him to get my clothes but he wasn't listening so I went out and he...locked me in a drawer in his room... I was trying to shove it open but I wasn't strong enough....then his mom let me out and let me go..."

Marius listened silently as Celestine finally told him what had happened. He was a little surprised to hear that he was sleeping in Yoichi's room since he seemed to dislike him so much when he was introduced to him. "Yoichi...isn't he the one you said thought you were a girl?" Considering the time that he seemed to have changed forms he could only imagine what he had done. "Celestine....what...exactly did he do...with the water...?" he asked, already having a funny feeling that he could guess.

"He fricking KISSED me!" he blurted angrily, and a little too loudly before he was sent into another coughing fit.

Marius started to laugh after hearing that, and then shook his head as he tried to stop quickly. He knew that it was rather humiliating for Celestine, but still it was rather funny to hear. He sobered himself up before Celestine even managed to stop coughing. He sighed and rubbed his chest a little before he moved his hand to cheek and pushed his hand back through his hair a little. "Alright...you just lay still for a little while and your side should be fine... I'll get you a drink and have it handy. Get some rest, alright?" With that he stood up again and started to move toward the door.

Celestine took a few deep breaths after he stopped coughing and then looked up to Marius again. "Grandpa...will you...open the window...please?" he asked quietly. He didn't really like laying in here very much even if he was sick and under-dressed.

Marius paused and glanced back to Celestine again before he smiled. It had been quite a while since he'd heard Celestine call him 'grandpa' he'd just been demoted to 'Marius' after he'd had his amnesia. "Of course," he said simply. He knew it was unlikely anyone was really going to be walking by, and even so Celestine was covered and someone could close the window should he need to get up for anything. He walked over to the window that wasn't facing the front of the house since that was the least likely to have someone to look inside it of the two, and then opened the shutters. Once hew as done with that he started to the door. "I'll be right back," he said simply before he stepped out of the room and walked down to the kitchen. He fished down a glass and filled it with cold water at the sink and then carried it back to the bedroom and over to the night stand closest to Celestine. "There you go..." He stroked Celestine's hair again and smiled a little. "I'll be sure to get you some clothes over here a little later. For now just try to sleep it off a little... You look exhausted." He could imagine from the look of him that he'd probably worn himself out in that drawer trying to get out.

Celestine nodded slightly to Marius, glad to have the window open now and a drink at hand. With the cloth on his head and all he was pretty well set for now. "...Thank you," he said quietly after he told him to sleep it off. He did at least hope that his head would feel better after he slept a little, though he also hoped that he could sleep without waking up screaming again. Finally he closed his eyes again and tried to relax a little.

Marius nodded and then backed up a little before looking down to Esen where she was laying in the floor. "You'll let me know if he needs me, won't you?" he asked her with a slight smile as he bent to rub her head again. He was pretty certain that Esen could speak just as easily as Nobu could should she have the urge.

Esen's ears laid back when Marius went to rub her head and then looked up to him, wagging her tails in answer to his request while nodding her head once. She didn't really like to talk to strangers, though she knew she'd most likely get to know this man pretty well. After a moment she stretched a little and stood up before placing her front paws on the bed and glancing over to Marius. After getting a nod of approval she carefully hopped up on the foot of the bed and laid down at Celestine's feet, nuzzling against his legs under the blanket before she laid still and tried to let him get to sleep.

Marius rubbed the top of Esen's head again before he started back to the door, "Sleep well, Celestine," he said quietly before he pulled the door closed all but a crack behind him. He sighed heavily and glanced over to Kyran's door for a moment before he stepped over to the door and tapped lightly on the door frame before he poked his head inside. "I've got him situated for now... I"ll go pick up his clothes soon and bring them over. Do you happen to know which room he put his things in? If you need anything I could try to find it while I'm there, as well."

Yotsy 04-02-2009 10:40 PM

Kyran still didn't really want to believe that he had heard correctly. Nobu shouldn't be able to talk and yet here he was, clearly talking. He stared down at Nobu for a moment before reaching out and rubbing the top of his head gently. "...How long have you been able to do this, I mean... talk like this?" He asked curiously. This was the first that he'd ever become aware of it and because of that he kind of thought that perhaps it was something that just started recently. "...Is there anything else special that you can do ...that I should know about?" He asked quietly. The fact that Nobu could talk was quite a surprise and frankly, he didn't really want to be surprised by anything else like it.

Nobu lifted his head a little into Kyran's hand when he reached over to rub his head. He wasn't at all surprised to hear Kyran's question and there were bound to be several that followed. '...For a good long while.' He paused. 'I've been able to talk like this for as long as I can remember.' He answered. He shook his head after hearing Kyran's second question. '...No, not that I know of. But now that you know I can talk, if anything comes up I can let you know.' He told him quietly. He didn't really think there was anything else that Kyran needed to be informed about. The only other thing that he knew off to the top of his head was what happened when he was drenched in water but that should have been obvious thanks to the other day.

Kyran was surprised once more, this time by hearing that it hadn't been just recently that Nobu started talking. He shook his head lightly. "...All this time and you never once said anything..." He mumbled quietly. He'd always thought that Nobu understood verbal communication better than he should and it wasn't hard to tell him to do something and this pretty much explained it. If Nobu was able to talk than he was surely capable of understanding the things that had been said to him. He eyed Nobu for a moment and then sighed quietly. "Can all of you talk or is it just you?" He was at least curious to know if the others could or not. Somehow he doubted that it was just something that Nobu could do.

Nobu nodded his head after Kyran asked his question, but figured he had better clarify. 'Yes, the others can talk. At least that I've met. Both Esen and Zale have the ability to speak. None of us knew each other before hand so I won't know who can and can't talk until I meet them but it's assumed that every one of us has the ability.' He'd never spoken to Gesa herself so he wasn't sure if she could speak and he hadn't met the canines from the other clans yet but like he had said, it was assumed that they could all talk since they were all created by the same person. They all had some basic similarities to themselves as well. 'Oh... don't bother trying to talk to the others...' He paused. 'We're only supposed to talk to our masters, the people who own our blades. So we have a little trouble from time to time talking to others, unless they're adept in telepathy.' He explained. 'Talking to others isn't impossible, but it isn't likely that we'll go that extra step to talk to someone else unless we have to.' He added lastly.

Kyran listened quietly to Nobu and then nodded his head slightly. This was a considerable amount to take in and he was still a little stuck on the fact that Nobu could even talk. Part of him wished he could tell Minako about this right now and see what her reaction was. Surely she didn't know he could talk either. He shook his head slightly while suppressing an embarrassed laugh. "...To think... all those times I'd been talking to you back home about problems, you could actually have given me your opinion..." He sighed quietly and was about to continue but paused when he heard the tapping at the door frame. He stared over at Marius for a moment. "Second guest room on the right." He answered and then thought for a moment if he needed anything. Well, he could probably use his vest if anything at all and if Marius went looking for his vest than he could probably snag Hikari's other outfit. He sighed quietly. "I hate to ask, but I could use my vest since my shirt bit the dust... and Hikari's clothes weren't any better off..." He paused. "She has a change of clothes in the room we were using as well I believe. We were staying in the first guest room on the left... and our things should be out in the open." He told him. "If you can't find our things it's alright and don't worry about it." He added.

Cyndel 04-03-2009 04:56 AM

Marius nodded slightly to Kyran when he told him where Celestine's room was and asked him to get his vest and Hikari's change of clothes. "Alright, thank you," he said lightly. "Don't worry about it, I don't mind. The rest of you don't need to be making trips to get things, it's no extra trouble." He didn't really mind going to grab Kyran and Hikari's clothes while he was getting Celestine and Kanone's. He sighed softly and then moved away from the door frame. "I'll be back a little later. I think Celestine's getting to sleep, so he shouldn't be any trouble. Though I would appreciate it if you could keep a bit of an eye on that cloth and try to keep it cool while I'm gone. He has a pretty high fever, I'd like to keep it from getting any higher if we can. I'll be back as soon as I can." He offered him another smile and then started to turn to leave the house to go on about his errand.

((And because we're lacking better things to do... *skips a few days*))

Marius spent a good portion of his time with Celestine once he got back from fetching his clothes and everyone else's and got them all distributed out to the right people. He tried to make sure that Celestine at least tried to eat something and keeping water handy at for him. He had the fever down by the following day, and he let Celestine get up and go take a bath and clean himself up before he put on any clean clothes and then helped him get his wings straightened out and cleaned up the loose and broken feathers. Celestine's wings were already lacking a good bit of feathers compared to normal since he's just had him pull the broken ones and he already seemed to be loosing a good deal of them. Apparently it was getting to that time of year that he molted his feathers in the first place and after all of the abuse that they'd received here it seemed he was about in need of a new set. Of course the fact that his feathers were falling out was leaving Celestine in a rather sour mood all the way around. At least he did seem to be feeling better after spending the remainder of that day and the following day in bed, though by day three he was hovering near the window and sitting on the sill a lot. At least with Marius being the one offering food and drinks he didn't seem to be too resistant to eating and drinking it.
Kanone had finally decided to get up and make himself presentable after he had some clean clothes. He took a bath and washed his hair thoroughly to make sire it was nice and clean and then changed into some of his clean clothes. Hikari had woken up finally later in the day and also took time to get herself cleaned up and changed into her clean clothes and out of the pajamas that she was rather surprised and embarrassed to find that she'd been put in. She had been keeping mostly to the bedroom through she did come out of the house long enough to go to the other house to check on Kyran, though she was barefoot when she went since she was having trouble getting the blood out of her boots. Nanashi had woken up enough that he could get up and move around a little, though he was still very tired and wasn't eating a whole though he did try to finish what he was offered. He had gotten up and slipped away from LaRae long enough to wash his hair since it was full of blood and wash himself off a little more. He'd pried himself out of what was left of his shirt and washed it in the tub, along with his pants. He had just put them both back on damp since he didn't have anything else to wear and then just moved his way out to the porch while he waited for the quick drying material to dry out. Even though his shirt was more or less trashed he still didn't seem too willing to go without it.

((Horray for sucktastic skips, I dunno what your people have been doin. XD))

Yotsy 04-03-2009 07:08 AM

Kyran did as Marius had asked and kept an eye on the cloth that was on Celestine's head whenever he was gone, at least until the fever had gone down. After that he didn't bother to keep quite as close an eye on Celestine unless he was asked to. The rest of that day and the following two went by relatively smoothly. There wasn't a whole lot going on and everyone had just kind of been lounging around trying to get to feeling better, including him. He was still pretty sore and preferred to just lay in bed when he got the chance. He was especially happy to see Hikari the first time she came to check up on him. She'd been resting for awhile herself to it was pleasant to finally see her up and moving. It was roughly noon now and Kyran had just finished up with a bath not too long ago. His hair was still damp and the fur at the end of his tail wasn't too far from wanting to poof up again like it did that once that Hikari got to see. He had decided to go to the other house himself this time rather than having Hikari come to him. Once he reached the porch of the other house he stopped at the top of the stairs and swung his tail around in front of him. With the tip of his tail still damp he wanted to make sure that it hadn't picked up any sand on his walk over. He stood there for a few moments and ran his fingers threw the fur to get some of the sand out and try to brush it so that it wouldn't fluff up once dried completely.

LaRae spent the majority of the following three days practically glued to Nanashi when she could. Paying so much attention to him was a good distraction from her arm. It was of course still broken and suffering from the friction burn she'd accidentally given herself. She did have the splint and sling taken off at least once by Levana when she came to visit but it wound up being put right back on after the burn had a chance to breathe. She was also half thankful that Levana was really against Hikari touching her arm until she was back up to par. It gave her time to talk herself into being okay with Hikari healing her again. She hadn't bothered at all with taking a full bath. She didn't really want to with her one arm stuck in the sling like it was. She wouldn't have been surprised to have slipped and fell, had trouble getting out of the bathtub or just flat out need help all together with the action. Instead of a full bath she made due with washing herself in the sink, which was a lot safer in her eyes than trying to conquer that shell shaped large tub. She was up at a decently early hour the third morning, mostly because there had been plenty of time to sleep and she was positive that she'd gotten more than enough. She had decided to take some time out and away from the house. She wanted to go and retrieve Nanashi's coat. She was pretty sure that he wouldn't mind having it now that they weren't going to be in any real danger and she was more presentable than he was to go all the way to the training building to get it. She left a little before noon with the intention of making a quick trip to the training building and then coming straight back with his coat.

Aamori preferred spending what time she could during the three days checking on how Celestine was feeling since he wasn't feeling well. Other than checking on him when she could she wound up spending a considerable amount of time with Levana whenever she came to visit. She had thankfully been given a clean outfit to wear one of the times that Levana had come to visit. It wasn't anything special, just her usual Elders dress with a new pair of boots. In order to keep her from having to go back to the training building right away to train with Hisako, Levana had offered to go over some book work with her. Hisako had only found out that the group was back because Yoichi had known Celestine was back. Of course that meant Aamori was somewhere on the islands. Over the course of three days that had passed she took advantage of the free bed since Marius hadn't been using it. She'd already been awake for the day and was mostly waiting for enough time to pass before she went over to check on Celestine. She didn't exactly want to show up over there too early and him not even be awake. She finally started towards the front door but wound up pausing once she'd glanced into the room that Kanone was in saw that he was actually awake for once. She stood near the door frame and stared over at him. "Wow, I'm surprised." She paused. "You're actually already awake?" She teased. She'd grown to expect him not to be up and moving too early and it actually looked like he hadn't just woken up.

Nero like usual spent most of his time in the bedroom that he'd claimed in the back left of the house. He barely left it at all the three days that had passed. The room like usual had been made as dark as he could possibly make it and he stayed in the bed. He made damn sure not to leave the room whenever Hikari came around. He was still healing on his own and he didn't particularly want her to hover over his cut up arm and punctured leg. He definitely had to admit that it was a little nicer to be healed rather than waiting on your own body to heal all by itself. The third morning he was still barred up in the one bedroom without much of any desire to leave, not even to eat. He was just far more comfortable glued to the bed.

Cyndel 04-03-2009 10:36 AM

Nanashi had only decided to get up to clean off once LaRae had left, though he spent more time trying to clean his clothes than he did on himself. At the moment he was just sitting on the porch swing wish his arm wrapped around the chain and his head leaned over against it. He had been sitting out there for a little while and his clothes were already almost completely dry. His hair was still a little damp but it had already started to piece out the way that it usually did over his headband. His gloves were missing form his arms since Hikari still hadn't given them back to him yet, and he hadn't bothered to put on his shoes since he was only coming to sit on the porch. There were several very noticeable bruises along his arms from where he'd tumbled down the steps, especially around the area where his arm had been broken before, and a few on is sides, half covered by what was left of his shirt. Here was one purple line under his left eye along his cheek that had formed where he'd hit his face on a step when he'd stopped rolling. He was pretty tired after being up and moving around for a bit and his skin was still a little paler than usual, but he seemed to be doing fine just sitting there rocking back and forth a little with his toes while he waited for LaRae to come back. He turned his head a little when he noticed Kyran coming to a stop at the top of the stairs and then raised his head up a little. His ears fell back a little at the bruises that he could see and he sighed quietly. He didn't think Kyran had even noticed him sitting there yet, though that didn't surprise him too much. He glanced away again for a moment before he stood up slowly. He did still vaguely remember Kyran carrying him down the remainder of the steps and back outside and he had a good feeling he was the one who'd gotten him over the water and to the house in the first place. After he'd hit him in the stomach like he had he was surprised to get anything out of him at all and though he felt bad for making things harder on him, he really was glad that he was actually willing to put himself through that just to help him. He was almost entirely silent as he walked over to Kyran and came to a stop before raising his hand and placing it against Kyran's arm, something he probably wouldn't have done had it been anyone but him or LaRae. He looked up to him with those large ruby eyes that still held that child-like concern over his injuries and then tilted his head a little. "...How are you feeling?" he asked quietly, getting straight to the point. He knew he was apparently feeling at least halfway decent considering that he was up and moving, but he had seen all of the things that Kyran had gotten beaten off of, and he knew it would take more than a couple of days to make that feel any better.

Hikari was still in the bedroom that she'd been bit in, though she wasn't sleeping any longer. She was still a little sluggish after using up so much energy and staying in the bed for a full day. She'd been up yesterday and had something to eat, and had also gotten wind of LaRae's cast issue. She had come close to blowing up on her over that, but in the end was too tired to make a big deal out of it. She had wanted to go ahead and heal it, but Levana had stopped her every time she tried so he'd finally given up for now. Right this moment she was just sitting on the edge of her bed with her comb, absently picking at her hair to get all of the tangles from sleeping out of it.

Kanone, for once, had managed to wake up a few hours before noon, though he hadn't bothered to actually get up. There wasn't a whole lot for him to do short of sleep and he'd gotten more than enough of that for a while. Right now he was just laying there in his brown pants and sleeveless green shirt that he'd worn before with his arms crossed behind his head while he stared at the ceiling. His ear twitched slightly when he he heard Aamori's voice and then raised his head up a little to look at her. "Mm...yeah. I'm about all slept out..." he said dully before he dropped his head back to his arms again. "Paradise is kinda boring." He said with a slight laugh. Really there wasn't anything exciting on this particular island, and the only thing he could even do to amuse himself would be to go swimming and he was pretty sure he'd had plenty of water to last him a while. He had been seriously contemplating on getting up and going to bother Nero and see how he was feeling, but he wasn't all that sure Nero wanted him bugging him now that he wasn't half dead. "Where're you going?" he asked simply. He still wasn't even aware that Celestine had been sick since the kid had more or less forbidden anyone from mentioning it to him. Marius had more or less been staying over at the other house other than when he came back here to change or talk to Aamori so he hadn't even really seem him much in the past few days.

Celestine, at current, was just perched in the window sill that led out to the front porch. He was wearing the pair of light tan suede pants and a white shirt with long flared sleeves. Over it he had on a pale green tunic that lone his others fell to his ankles and split up to the top of his hips on either side. The tunic was decorated with dark green trim around the short sleeves and the high, close fitting neck line. A single decorative knot button was latched over the split in the neck that allowed him to get his head in and out of the thing, and the bottom of the tunic was covered with an embroidered deep green leaf pattern that looked ad if they were being blown from a pile that was positioned somewhere out of the picture on the left and swirling away in the wind. He had a matching green sash tied over his waist, mostly for decoration purposes and also just because he was so used to wearing on. The clothes that Marius had brought for him all fit him more snugly than what he had been wearing when they all met him so the sash wasn't really needed, but he preferred to keep one on anyway. He was staring out over the sand with a less than pleasant look on his face as his hand rested against his chest where his pendant usually rested. It was painfully strange for it not to be there and that was the one thing that Yoichi hadn't bothered to return. He assumed that someone had found the earrings that he'd forgotten in the bathroom, though the ruined piece of paper that had once been a pass had probably been thrown away as well since he couldn't find it. He wanted to go back to their house and see if he could find it but without the pass he was kind of stuck here. Even if it had been returned he knew it was pretty much useless. He was going to be extremely upset if they couldn't find that thing considering that it had been his mothers before his and it held as much sentimental value to him as his swallow did. He sighed heavily for about the 500th time today and then looked back into the room. His blades were laying by the wall next to the dresser where his bag of clothes was sitting. Esen was laying on the foot of the bed again, just staring at him in all his disgruntled glory and looking a little at a loss. He guessed she must not have known what to do about him and his mild depression over the absent necklace. Marius seemed to have decided to sleep in today or something since he hadn't seen him since the night before. Whether he was still sleeping or not he didn't know, he only knew that he hadn't come down to this end of the house at all.

Kyran hadn't exactly noticed Nanashi before he got up and came over toward him. He'd seen him on the porch swing when he was walking up to the porch but he hadn't really registered it. He looked over at Nanashi once he'd touched his arm and then slowly let go of his tail. The first thing he noticed of course was the nice purple line under Nanashi's left eye. He'd kind of forgotten that Nanashi had fallen down those stairs but now it was almost painfully obvious with all of the bruises he had. He stared down at him for a moment before he opened his mouth to answer his question. "Better than I was." He answered. "It's just a bit of a pain to wait for the soreness to subside completely, though I'm sure that you know that pain already... you've got a few bruises as well." He said quietly. "...How about you, how are you feeling?" He asked. He had wanted to check up on him at some point today, likely sometime after he'd seen Hikari but running into him on the porch just kind of reordered his list of things to do.

Aamori shook her head lightly after hearing him say that paradise was kind of boring. Well, it certainly could be if you and the people you were with were all still recovering. Not to mention most of the fun things that you could do, kind of involved water and most of the group was likely tired of water. She stared over at him for a moment. "...It can't be any more boring right now than being in your village." She commented quietly. She glanced back towards the front door for a moment when he asked where she was going. She was pretty sure that she was supposed to keep quiet still about Celestine being sick so she had to just leave that out. "I was going to go and see Celestine since he's staying at the other house and not likely to come over here himself." She couldn't honestly say that he wouldn't come over here, he probably would if he was allowed to. Since he'd been sick she was pretty sure that Marius had kind of wanted to keep him on lock down until he was feeling well enough that being outside and doing whatever he wanted wouldn't warrant him catching another cold right off the bat. She didn't exactly want him out running around either until he was feeling one hundred percent better. Besides, if he didn't get better it'd just be all that much harder to keep it a secret from Kanone and it was hard for her, she'd likely slip up a couple more times and almost spill it to Kanone without even meaning to.

Nobu had been left to claim the bed in the room that Kyran had been using. Since Kyran wasn't in the bed he certainly did take it upon himself to occupy it. Had the bed not been rather large he probably could've easily taken up the whole bed just by himself. He had managed to work himself partially under the blankets during his fight to get comfortable. He was awake at least and did want to get up and go check on Celestine but he was far too comfortable to get up from the bed right now, especially after the struggle of getting under the blankets.

Nanashi nodded slightly when he said that he was feeling better than he was. That was good to hear at least, at least it was an honest answer. He glanced down when he mentioned him having his own bruises and then glanced over to his left shoulder and arm as if checking to make sure they were still there. "...I'm alright," he said quietly after he lowered his arm. He was rather used to pain so having bruises didn't really bother him all that much. They were more unsightly than annoying to him, though he was trying to keep most of them covered with what he had to work with. He looked back up to Kyran again and smiled weakly before he lowered his eyes again and then sighed softly. His ears laid back just a little before he stepped closer to Kyran and wrapped his arms around his middle, tight enough that he could tell he was getting a hug, though he was being careful not to put much pressure on him since he was well aware that he was still sore. Nanashi wasn't always the most articulate person so at times it was just easier to do things without speaking. He could be a very affectionate person given the reason and chance, and so long as he trusted you enough to get that close to you. He sighed again softly and then leaned his forehead lightly against Kyran's chest. "...I'm sorry...I made things more difficult on you..." he said quietly before his grip tightened on him just a tiny bit. He looked up at him then and smiled a little more warmly as he stared up at him with those big adoring eyes. "Thank you... I really am sorry....but thank you so much for helping me." He was at least very grateful when people did something for him, though he really wished he could do more to show it. Unfortunately he was rather used to being around woman considering he was the only man in the house most of the time, so he wasn't too keen on the whole 'guys don't hug' thing, and he didn't see anything wrong with it at all. If he had to pick out a best friend it probably would have been Kyran by now so he was perfectly comfortable right now. He'd been wanting to thank him for days, but hadn't really gotten the chance to.

Kanone snorted slightly when she said it couldn't be more boring than his village. "Touché..." he said simply before he sighed and sat himself up again. "What's the big attraction over there? Gramps has stayed over there the last few days, too." He tilted her head a little and then sighed. "Well, since you're going over there to pester Celestine? I've been thinking about going to see if Nero's still alive anyway, guess now's as good a time as any." He glanced around and then shimmied off the bed and reached over to his boots to start putting them back on, apparently intent on going whether he was wanted or not.

Yotsy 04-04-2009 04:14 AM

Kyran nodded his head slightly once Nanashi had said that he was alright. He hadn't expected much else out of him in the form of a response to that question. It really wasn't like Nanashi to go on and on about how he was feeling, or at least he'd come to understand that. He was a little surprised when he found Nanashi had wrapped his arms around him in a hug. The surprise came more from the fact that Nanashi was actually so close to him of his own choice rather than the fact that he was being hugged by another boy. He stared down at Nanashi trying to hide his brief fit of confusion by a slight smile. He wasn't at all sure what had brought this on, at least not until Nanashi had opened his mouth. He sighed softly after hearing him apologize. He lifted his hand up and gently set it on top of Nanashi's head for a moment before he patted the top of his head lightly. "It's alright. No harm done." He told him softly. He kept his hand lightly on top of Nanashi's head once he'd lifted his head to look up at him. He shook his head a little after listening to Nanashi again. "You're welcome." He started. "No need to apologize so much, it's just something friends do." He told him quietly. "...and if I remember correctly ...I've told you something similar to that before." He added with a quiet laugh.

Aamori watched as Kanone started to sit up and then stared at him for a moment once he'd asked what the 'big attraction' was in the other house. She started to open her mouth, fully prepared to answer truthfully but managed to hold her tongue before she got anything out. "...I think Celestine got the bid in on where Marius was staying before you, which is why he's been staying over there." She started. "Then of course the only spare room for Celestine to use, to begin with was in the other house." She paused. "...and rather than wait to see if Celestine will come over here, I just prefer to go over there." She added. "I don't really think there's much of an attraction... or are you just jealous because Celestine's getting all of the attention?" She teased while she watched him putting on his boots.

Cyndel 04-04-2009 07:31 AM

Nanashi smiled a little more when Kyran said that was what friends did and then lowered his head again. He leaned his head against Kyran's chest again and nuzzled him like a kitten as he tightened his grip a little more. It really made him happy to be called his friend. After all, he'd grown up never having and real friends. There were people who would be nice to him when no one was looking and then expect him to repay them for it later, but Kyran never seemed to expect anything from him. Until recently he'd never even come to trust anyone enough to consider them as a friend, but he couldn't think of anything else that Kyran could possibly be. He finally loosened his grip and backed off a little before he looked up to Kyran and offered him another smile. "Thank you..." he said again quietly before he reached over to the rail and placed his hand on it before he scooted back to lean against it. "...Sorry to keep you," he said lightly, fairly certain that it wasn't really him he'd come over here to see. He turned his gaze out toward the bridge again for a moment, half wondering how much longer LaRae was going to be. After all, it wasn't that far away, though...well he wouldn't be too surprised if she got a little side tracked on the way back.

Kanone glanced up to Aamori again and smirked slightly when she started teasing him. "Well that depends. You two getting nice and cozy over there or is this just a social visit?" He had nothing against teasing her right back. As soon as he finished tying his boots he stood up and then pushed his hand back through his hair before he slipped one of the hair ties off of his wrist and tied it up the way that he usually did. He grinned at her as he started to the door, raising a hand to pat her on the head before he slipped by her and out into the hallway.

Celestine finally sighed and slipped out of the window before he walked over to the bed and rubbed the top of Esen's head. He was getting restless just sitting there in the window like that. He smiled weakly at her and leaned down to nuzzle his head against hers lightly. "I'm going to go pester Nobu," he said lightly. He slipped his arm around her neck and gave her a hug and another cuddle before he straightened up and started toward the door. He had a pretty good idea of where Nobu was, though he was a little surprised to see him under the covers like that. He smiled slightly and then moved almost silently into the room and over to the bed before he snagged the cover and tugged it up completely over Nobu's head. He chuckled softly and then sat on the edge of the bed and leaned over on top of him, wrapping his arms around him while nuzzling his head against what he was pretty sure was his shoulder. "Morning, Nobu."

Yotsy 04-04-2009 09:22 AM

Kyran glanced down at Nanashi briefly once he'd nuzzled against him. He smiled a little and ruffled his hair up slightly with his hand before he dropped it back down to his side. He merely nodded his head after the last time that Nanashi had thanked him and watched him as he leaned back against the railing. He shook his head a little. "You didn't really keep me. I had wanted to see how you were feeling as well, the order just got turned around a little is all." He paused. "Not that mind. No one was expecting me." He added quickly. He didn't want Nanashi to think that he was upset or anything about seeing him before Hikari. He wouldn't have been surprised though for Nanashi to take it that way. Nanashi apologized so much it was almost like he'd start fishing for a reason to say he was sorry if it'd been awhile since the last time he'd said it. He started to look toward the front door seriously thinking about going to check on Hikari now. He glanced back to Nanashi and saw that he was looking in the direction of the bridge. He tilted his head slightly. "...Is there something fascinating near the bridge?"

Aamori stared over at Kanone for a moment after he had teased her right back. "...Oh yes, we're so cozy he's getting panic attacks." She quipped. She kept an eye on him while he put his hair up like he usually did. She continued to stand exactly where she was while he patted her head and then slipped around her into the hall. She turned and stared after him for a moment before starting after him. She couldn't very well pat him on the head like he did, he was a bit taller than her so that was nearly impossible unless he was lower. She could reach the next best thing, however. She smiled broadly and reached up to his hair tie with her one index finger and pulled it from his hair like she'd done before. After having stolen the hair tie she slipped it around her wrist and slipped ahead of him for the front door. "If you don't want to work your way through all of these..." She said as she held her wrist up briefly. "You need to stop patting my head." She told him and then stuck her tongue out before opening the door and stepping out onto the porch, prepared to start heading to the other house.

Nobu barely paid any attention to who ever had come into the room. He hadn't been looking toward the door and he didn't bother shifting so that he could see who it was. He had a pretty good idea of who it was any how. Kyran wouldn't bother being that quiet and he doubted Marius would either and the only other person in the house who'd venture in here to him was Celestine. He continued to just lay there at least until the blanket went over his head. He finally stirred a little, lifting his head up from under the cover. He was in the processes of turning his head so that he could try and work his way out from under the blanket but stopped as soon as he felt Celestine lean over on him and nuzzled into his shoulder. He laid his head right back down on the bed, cover and all. 'Good morning, Celestine.' He paused. 'Feeling better today, I assume judging by the playful behavior?'

Cyndel 04-04-2009 10:40 AM

Nanashi chuckled softly after Kyran ruffled his hair. He smiled again when he said that he wanted to see him too and then laughed softly when he tagged on the ending. He'd already known, or at least assumed, that Kyran wasn't upset that he'd seen him or he probably wouldn't have been so friendly toward him. "I know," he said quietly. Well, at least he knew Kyran was careful to try not to hurt his feelings. He'd never really expect Kyran to come to see him over Hikari anyway. After he'd looked away he glanced back to Kyran asked if there was something near the bridge. "Huh? Oh...no... I was just looking for LaRae. She left a while earlier...I think she said was going to get my coat, but... I've just been waiting for her to get back. I guess it was a little longer walk than I thought." Still, he was pretty sure she'd been gone at least and hour and he didn't think it was quite that long of a walk. He was about tempted to go looking for her, but he didn't know if he could right now. He was already having a little trouble walking steadily considering that he'd been in the bed for the last four days and was still trying to get used to using them again. Even standing up against the rail was a little straining but it was easier than standing with nothing to lean on.

Kanone rolled his eyes when Aamori stole his hair tie again and watched her put it on her wrist before he moved out behind her. He watched as she opened the door and then sighed and patted her on the head again. "Since you already have it..." he said simply. He grinned and then started messing up her hair before he dropped his hand back to his side. "There, go visit your precious Celestine looking like you were caught in a hurricane." He was pretty sure he could get the hair tie back easily enough, though he paused when he saw Kyran and Nanashi on the front porch. "Oh hey, you're up," he said more or less to both of them. He was a little more surprised to see Nanashi out there than Kyran though.

Celestine just leaned against Nobu after he greeted him and then sighed. "...I guess, a little," he said simply. He sat up a little and pulled the back off of Nobu's head and folded it back to a little past his shoulder. He stroked his hand along Nobu's fur from the top of his head down to his shoulders and then laid over sideways and wrapped his arm around him again, snuggling closer to him as he slipped his other arm under his head and wrapped it around his neck as well. He just curled up and nuzzled his head against Nobu's for a moment before he laid still again. In all honestly, Celestine wasn't a very happy camper right now, though like this it was probably hard to tell. He wanted to go get his necklace back and knew that he couldn't go anywhere right now, not only because he was lacking a pass but because he was only just getting over being sick and still had the sniffles. He didn't want to get yelled at for going out side to sitting in the window sill was the best he could do and he could only sit there for so long. He could about more use a hug himself, but of course it wasn't like he was going to walk up and ask for a hug out of the blue so cuddling all over Nobu was nearly as comforting. He sighed and closed his eyes again for the moment. 'I love you...' he though absently as he scratched lightly behind Nobu's ear. It was an honest truth. It really didn't take him too long to fall in love with an animal, even if it wasn't his. He'd never really wanted to get attached to Nobu since he knew that he would be going home with Kyran but it was really hard not to get attached to him, especially after he had pointed out that he could come to visit him.

Yotsy 04-04-2009 11:54 AM

Kyran stared over at the bridge briefly before looking back to Nanashi. He was kind of surprised to hear that LaRae had gone somewhere without him, though if it was only to get him his coat and come back then it wasn't too surprising he guessed. He took one more glance towards the bridge and then sighed quietly. "She'll come back sooner or later, I wouldn't worry about it too much." He told him before glancing to the door when he noticed it opening. He watched Aamori and Kanone. He shook his head seeing the state of disarray Aamori's hair was now in, courteous of Kanone. She was clearly going to have one hell of a time fixing that now. He focused a little more on Kanone once he'd spoke. His statement wasn't really directed at either of them in particularly so he felt safe to respond. "Yes, and so are you... and obviously back to your usual self." He said and cast his eyes over to Aamori's hair before shaking his head again. If he had his way he'd probably make Kanone sit there and fix Aamori's hair for her since he was the one who messed it up so badly.

Aamori hadn't even bothered to look back at Kanone when he said 'since you already have it'. She'd kind of decided to ignore him and get towards the other house without him messing with her too much more. Sadly he ruined that idea. Her ears fell back as soon as she felt his hand touch her head and then she tried to lean forward a little once he'd proceeded to mess up her hair. Of course moving forward even a little was likely to result in his hand moving with her head and then messing up even more of her hair. Once he had his fun she stood there with a rather sour look on her face. She didn't have to see her hair to know how bad it was and without a brush it was going to be a real pain in the rear to fix it and straighten it out again. She stared at the floor for a moment, half tempted to stay and complain about his messing up her hair like he had but that wasn't going to solve anything and it'd probably only provoke him to mess it up even more, if that were even possible. She gave a heavy sigh and proceeded down off the steps without a word to Nanashi or Kyran. Those two could probably keep Kanone preoccupied for a few moments while made an escape. Once she was off the porch she started to head straight for the other house, pausing only for a second when she caught sight of a purple hair filled brush sitting on the edge of the porch. Obviously Nobu had been brushed with that but she didn't care, it was still a brush and would be a lot of help. She snagged it quickly and then continued to head across the sand toward the other house in a little quicker then she would have originally. She'd likely make it to the other porch in no time at all if Kanone didn't get the chance to catch up and slow her down.

Nobu lifted his head a little once Celestine had pulled the blanket back. He didn't keep his head raised for very long, it was laying right back in place once Celestine had started moving to wrap himself around him. He continued to lay there without moving very much. He was pretty comfortable after all and it was kind of nice to have Celestine cuddling all over him like he was. It'd been a little awhile since he'd done that. His ears perked up very slightly and he shifted a little. 'Love you too, Celestine.' He responded. He was quiet for a few moments and then finally his tails lifted up a little and then patted the bed. '.....Is something wrong? Something you're not telling me?' He asked finally. It wasn't that strange for Celestine to be all cuddly, he'd seen him like this before but coupling that with the 'I love you' statement he was a little curious if there was something else eating away at him to make him want to be the way he was.

Cyndel 04-04-2009 01:11 PM

Nanashi sighed softly and looked back to Kyran again when he said that she would come back sooner or later and then nodded his head slightly. "I guess so," he said quietly before he slowly pushed away from the railing intent on going to sit down again until he saw Aamori and Kanone come out. He stared at Aamori's hair for a moment before watching her hurry off and then glanced back to Kanone again and nodded a little in response to his comment. He smiled weakly after Kyran answered him and then shook his head a little. "Don't pester her too much, Kanone..." he said softly.

Kanone watched at Aamori scurried away and then rolled his eyes again while pointing his his hair. "She made of with my bloomin' hair band again." he said simply in response to Nanashi's comment and then looked at Kyran again. "I guess you could say that..." he said simply. He sighed and flipped his hair forward again before pulling it back up into it's usual loose ponytail and tying it off. He'd retrieve the other one later, right now he wasn't all that worried about it. "Glad that seamstress decided to give me a few extra after the last time she made off with it. At this rate I'm not so sure three's going to be enough." He glanced over to the other house and half smirked at the way she was scurrying over. "Well, at any rate, glad to see you're feeling better." He smiled at Kyran and put a hand on his shoulder before he started to move toward the steps himself, though he seemed in no big rush.

Nanashi shook his head a little and then moved slowly away from the railing, wobbling a little once he'd let go of it. He stopped and closed his eyes for a moment before sighing and continuing forward until he could reach the chain to the porch swing. He grabbed onto it and then turned around and sat back down on the swing again before he closed his eyes again and leaned his head back against the chain like he had before. He was getting a bit annoyed with his lack of energy. All he seemed to want to do was lay down and sleep, but as far as he was concerned he had spent quite enough time in bed.

Celestine opened his eyes when he heard Nobu respond to his thought, looking surprised for just a second before he smiled. He obviously hadn't really intended that one to be heard, but he didn't really mind. He closed his eyes again and nuzzled his head one more time. He opened his eyes again when Nobu asked if there was something he wasn't telling him. "...What? Does there have to be something wrong?" he asked softly as he nuzzled against him a little more. "...There's nothing wrong, really..." he said quietly, "...I just wanted to go out for a bit...but all of the water ruined my pass so I could get in trouble if I left here right now...." He sighed again and then absently pulled his arm back to rub his neck. It really was strange not feeling that cord there and even in here he couldn't seem to get his mind off of wanting to go look for his necklace. 'Wonder where he put the thing... I'm going to have to go back over there before we leave. Mother would strangle me if I lost that it was her favorite necklace...' He sighed and just dropped his arm back around Nobu again, pulling him a little closer. He wasn't intentionally trying to talk to him both ways, though like usual he wasn't always the best at keeping his thoughts completely to himself so it wouldn't be hard for Nobu to pick up on them.

Yotsy 04-04-2009 02:11 PM

Kyran shook his head after hearing that he'd messed up Aamori's hair over a hair tie that she'd robbed him of. That was a little juvenile, actually. "...Didn't anyone teach you to just ask her nicely to return it?" He couldn't help but shake his head again lightly when Kanone mentioned that he didn't think three hair ties were going to be enough. He probably wouldn't have any trouble with them being stolen if Aamori wasn't given a reason to take them. He hadn't see why she took it this last time but it was pretty obvious that he'd done or said something that made her want to run off with it. Honestly he was probably the main reason behind the hair ties being abducted. He focused a bit more on Kanone once he'd touched his shoulder. He nodded his head. "Yeah, it's good to see you up and about too." He told him as he watched him heading for the steps. He glanced over to Nanashi once he'd gotten himself seated on the swing again. He finally started towards the door now that he was getting a free chance. He paused at the door, again glancing towards Nanashi. He was a little worried about him still, mostly because of how fatigued he looked. "I'm heading inside now." He told him as he reached for the door to open it. He'd already decided that he'd want to come check on him again after a little while.

Aamori hadn't bothered looking back once as she hurried over to the other house. It'd be her luck that if she looked back she'd see Kanone not far behind her. Once she reached the porch though she did finally glance back. She was rather surprised to see that he hadn't bothered to follow after as quickly as she had expected. Maybe he hadn't wanted his hair tie back right away. She sighed quietly and started over to the front door. She lifted her hand and tried to at least run her hand over her hair to try and fix it. With little to no luck of course and all thanks to Kanone. She sighed heavily and stared at the brush for a moment. She finally started to pull at the purple hair lodged in the brush, pausing briefly to knock on the door and then going right back to pulling the hair out. She wasn't really sure that anyone was awake so she didn't want to just waltz into the house even though she knew perfectly well that she could. It was at least more courteous of her to knock and wait for someone to get the door, even if she wasn't looking forward to the look on the person's face who answered the door.

Nobu listened quietly when Celestine said that there wasn't anything wrong. He was going to let it go since he had said there wasn't anything wrong but that came to a rather abrupt stop once he'd picked up on Celestine's thought. He lifted his head up a little and tried to look over at him. 'Someone needs to teach you it's not a good thing to lie, especially when your friends are telepathic...' He shook his head lightly and then dropped it back down onto the bed. 'Why didn't you just tell me it was your necklace was missing and that was what had you bothered? I knew there was something not quite right...' He said quietly. '...Since it's missing and you can't go look for it yourself can't you ask someone to do it for you?' He asked curiously. His ears perked up a little once he'd heard the knock at the front door. Had he not had Celestine cuddled to him he probably would've gotten up himself to go and see who it was.

Cyndel 04-04-2009 03:38 PM

Kanone snorted when Kyran asked him if anyone had ever taught him to just ask nicely. "Haha yeah, that'd work," he said a little sarcastically. He knew well enough already by now to know that Aamori wouldn't just hand it over that easily unless the right person was around at the time. He gave him a wave as he stepped off the porch and then sighed as he started across the sand at a rather leisurely pace. He probably wouldn't be to the other house until after Aamori had already gotten inside, though that suited him fine either way. After all, he had a few more hair ties to go through and he could always get it back from her later on. He was done pestering her for now at least.

Nanashi opened his eyes again and turned his head a little to look at Kyran without raising it off the chain. He smiled slightly and then nodded to him after he told him that he was going inside. "Alright... see you later," he said quietly before he closed his eyes again and turned his head back to the front. After a moment he just started using his toes to rock again and then opened his eyes once more to look out over the beach at the water. He was still getting a little concerned over LaRae, but he knew it was likely she could get side tracked. Even so if she wasn't back sometime soon he was about tempted to go to the training building himself to check on her. After all he knew he could go everywhere but the restricted areas so long as he had his pass and it was tucked safely in his pocket.

Celestine opened his eyes again when Nobu raised his head and got onto him for lying. He rolled his eyes a little and gently shoved against his head with a sigh. "My friends shouldn't read my mind so much," he said a little playfully before he started to stoke his fur again. 'Not that I mind that much...' There wasn't a whole lot that he cared too much if it was brought out in the open, and the only things that he did hate talking about Sonia and Kanone had already pretty much filled everyone in nicely, so there wasn't much to keep to himself anymore. He sighed when he asked why he didn't just tell him that was bothering him. 'Isn't it a little weird to be upset over a piece of jewelry?' He shook his head a little when he suggested he ask someone else to go get it. "...It's not important enough to anyone else to bother with..." he said quietly. He was pretty sure that just because it was important to him wasn't enough to make anyone else go that far out of their way to find it for him. His ear twitched when he heard the door and he sighed heavily. For a moment it seemed he was just going to ignore it, but finally he sat himself up and then slipped off of the bed. "...I'll be back later..." he said quietly as he moved toward the door. He stepped out into the hallway and then looked at the front door, a little surprised to see Aamori there. He reached to open the door for her and then stared at her hair once he wasn't looking through the glass and raised one eyebrow but otherwise kept that usual composed look. "...What happened to you?"

Kyran waited until he'd gotten a response out of Nanashi before he continued into the house. He headed past the first two rooms and toward the kitchen and dinning room first. The house so far was pretty empty and so long as Hikari hadn't snuck out sometime earlier he suspected that she was probably the only person left inside the house. He glanced around the kitchen briefly while he continued to head to the back set of rooms. He hadn't been over here since the first day when everyone was brought here but thankfully he did still know which room Hikari had been using, if she hadn't gone and changed rooms on him. He finally came to a stop at the bedroom door on the right and knocked lightly on the door.

Nobu shook his head a little after hearing Celestine question if it was weird to be upset over a piece of jewelry. He didn't think so and he was almost positive that Esen wouldn't find it weird either. After all, they usually got upset over their blades being misplaced, so really, a piece of jewelry was nothing any stranger to be upset over. He also felt that any friend would be willing to look for the necklace for him, given the circumstances. Most friends would be willing to do just about anything for a person that they cared about. He wouldn't have minded himself going to find the necklace but it'd be more than a little weird to go back to that house and hope to be let inside and then raid the house looking for a piece of jewelry. That task really was better left to someone who didn't look like a dog. He nodded his head slightly once Celestine had said that he'd be back later. After Celestine got up and went to answer the front door he rolled onto his other side and shifted so that he could see out of the bedroom now without having to move from where he was now laying.

Aamori continued to pick at the hair in the brush while she waited. She lifted her eyes from the brush and looked at Celestine once he'd opened the door. Having him answer the door was quite embarrassing but considering everyone who was inside the house, she was bound to be embarrassed regardless of who answered the door. She absently lifted her hand to pat down her hair once again after Celestine had asked what happened to her. She sighed quietly as she dropped her hand down to her side. "......Kanone happened......" She muttered quietly. She was pretty sure that probably said enough. She could've gone into detail on how it happened but it was just so much easier to say it the way she had. Not to mention this way she didn't have to admit outright that it probably could've been avoided if she hadn't pestered Kanone to begin with.

Hikari raised her head a little when she heard the knock and then stood up, walking over to the dresser briefly to put the comb down since she was more or less finished with it and then started over to the door. She pulled it open and then looked up, a little surprised to see Kyran there. "Oh! Hey... What are you doing over here? I would have been over a little later." She smiled at him before she opened the door a little more widely and moved closer to wrap her arms around him. "How are you today?" she asked softly as she leaned her head against him.

Celestine tilted his head a little when Aamori said that Kanone had happened to her hair. He sighed and then shook his head before he reached over to her and started to try to fix her hair a little. "...I think he messed it up a little beyond finger repair... I have a comb in my bag...." he said simply as he stepped back to let her inside. He hadn't really noticed that she already had the brush that he'd never gotten around to cleaning out like he'd said he would. Honestly, he'd already forgotten about it. He glanced past her and then sighed when he saw Kanone making his way to the porch. "Speak of the devil..." he said with a sigh.

Kanone wasn't too terribly far behind Aamori by the tine Celestine actually opened the door for her. He snickered when he heard him say 'speak of the devil' as he reached the steps. "Nice to see you, too, twerp," he said simply. He came to a stop behind Aamori and then crossed his arms while he waited for her to go in so he could get in behind her. He still wanted to go see how Nero was doing, so he wasn't too concerned with bugging Celestine too much right now.

"...Why are you picking on girls?" he asked flatly, looking a little annoyed.

Kanone just rolled his eyes and then pointed down to Aamori's wrist. "Well, I'll give you a hint," he responded, "That isn't hers."

Celestine glanced down to Aamori's wrist and then noticed the hair band before he rolled his eyes before he just turned around to walk back into Kyran's room and say down on the edge of the bed by Nobu to pet him. 'Why did she have to bring him over here?' he thought with a sigh.

Kyran smiled down at Hikari once she'd opened the bedroom door. He shook his head lightly. "It's nice to see you too..." He commented quietly after she'd asked what he was doing here. "I came over to see you of course." He started. "I also thought it would do me some good to get up and walk over here for once, rather than have you walk over to see me. I'm not exactly bed ridden after all." He responded before lifting his arms to wrap around her in return. He leaned his head down on top of hers for a moment before responding to her last question. "I'm doing better, still sore of course." He answered quietly.

Aamori stared at Celestine briefly once he'd reached over to try and fix her hair. She couldn't help the very faint blush that found it's way to her cheeks. She merely nodded her head a little once he'd said that he had a comb in his bag. If she had to chose she'd rather use his comb over a brush that appeared to have been used on Nobu and left outside for days. She was about to head inside since he'd stepped back but paused as soon as she'd heard him say 'speak of the devil'. She thought she was lucky to have made it this far without him catching up to her but apparently she wasn't lucky enough to have made it inside completely without him. She sighed quietly after Kanone had to go and point out that she'd made off with his hair tie. "...Well ...you'd still have it if you hadn't patted my head to begin with..." She muttered quietly before starting into the house after Celestine had turned and walked away. She thought very briefly about shutting the door in Kanone's face since he had to go and point out what he had and clearly annoy Celestine. She sighed quietly and continued over to peek into the room that Celestine had gone into. She didn't bother saying a word just yet, mostly because he'd walked away without saying anything.

Nobu lifted his head slightly once Celestine had come back into the room and sat down on the bed. He hadn't really expected him back that quickly since he had said he'd be back later. When he said later, he had expected a bit lengthier of a time away. He looked at him for a moment and tilted his head slightly. He'd heard Aamori once Celestine had opened the door but it sounded more like Kanone had come a little after, especially since Celestine had said what he had. '....They didn't show up together ...so ...how did she bring him over here?' He asked curiously. It sounded to him a little more like maybe Kanone had followed her more than come with her.

Cyndel 04-06-2009 08:40 AM

Hikari smiled slightly and then shook her head a little. "Don't you give me that, you know I'm glad to see you," she said softly. She sighed softly after hearing that he was still sore and glanced up at him the best that she could with his head on hers. "It's a little surprising you're not bed ridden with as many things as many knocks as you took." She finally turned her head up and tiptoed a little to kiss his cheek lightly. "Well, come on in and sit down," she said with a smile before she finally released him and backed out of the doorway to let him in. "I've been going stir crazy... Levana still isn't letting me do anything healing related and I still have things to do." She almost sounded a little whiny. She wanted to hear LaRae's arm and corner Nero to see how he was doing.

Kanone just rolled his eyes a little at Aamori before he followed her inside. "And you'd still have a nice pretty hairdo if you hadn't gone and messed up my hair," he pointed out. At least his patting her on the head didn't hurt anything and wasn't quite as obnoxious as her playing keep away with his hair ties. He grinned when she went to peek into the room that Celestine had gone into and moved up behind her, leaning over her shoulder. He pressed his lips against her cheek firmly and in one swift motion while he had his lips to her cheek he reached down to her wrist and snagged the hair tie, slipping it off her arm quickly. "Don't worry, you're still adorable." He snickered and slipped the hair tie back into his wrist before placing his hand on top of her head and ruffling her hair a little more before he scurried away from her quickly and made his way quickly to the other end of the house since he was pretty sure that was where he'd find Nero.

Celestine sighed heavily at Nobu's response. 'Either way...' he responded tiredly. He wasn't really in the mood to deal with Kanone today. He glanced back to the door again just in time to see him kiss Aamori on the cheek and he narrowed his eyes before he looked away again, looking thoroughly pissed off. 'That bastard.... Why does he always do that?' Obviously, that was one thing that he wasn't too pleased to witness.

Yotsy 04-06-2009 02:56 PM

Kyran had lifted his head from hers as soon as he felt that she was trying to look up. He looked down at her again once she'd said that it was a little surprising that he wasn't bed ridden. He shrugged lightly. "Luckily, nothing is broken... otherwise I'm afraid I'd still be in bed." He wasn't really all that surprised to be up and about. It only ever hurt badly when he bending or twisting and so long as he was standing or sitting relatively straight the soreness was kept at bay. He smiled a bit after she'd gotten onto her toes in order to kiss his cheek. He couldn't help smiling when she had to get on her toes to do that, it was kind of cute. He started into the bedroom once she'd let him go and moved out of the doorway. He paused once he was inside the room and leaned down a little so that he could return a kiss to her cheek before continuing over to the bed to sit down. He scrunched up his face momentarily as he was sitting down on the edge of the bed but other than that there weren't any real signs that he'd been in pain during the process. "Stir crazy? It won't kill you not to go around healing everything for a little while." He paused. "Besides... Levana must have a good reason for not allowing you to do any healing right away or is she merely doing this to amuse herself?"

Aamori continued to stand in the doorway though she did roll her eyes a little after hearing what Kanone had said. She hadn't messed up his hair, all she did was pull his hair tie out of his hair. That was nothing compared to what he'd done to her hair. "I hardly see how I messed up your ha..i....r...." She stared slightly wide eyed for a moment, caught completely off guard by Kanone before her face tinted red. Thanks to that she'd easily become quite disoriented so she hadn't even noticed that he'd taken back his hair tie. She didn't even completely register that he'd just ruffled her hair more. She stared after him for a moment once he'd scurried away and then started to turn her head to look back into the room at Celestine. She didn't have to look at Celestine for very long before she turned even redder and on top of that noticed just how pissed off he looked. So far it seemed his mood had gradually gotten worse since he opened the front door. She continued to stand there for only a moment before taking a step back and turning to slip back towards the front door. She'd become rather embarrassed courteous of Kanone and she wasn't entirely sure that she hadn't done something to annoy Celestine. Either way she wasn't sure that she was ready to deal with him if he was in as foul a mood as he looked.

Nobu stared up at Celestine after he'd responded and then glanced to the door just about the same time that Celestine had. He already gathered awhile ago that Celestine liked Aamori so it really didn't take a whole lot to understand why Celestine had gotten as pissed off as he did. He looked back to Celestine and then shook his head lightly. '...Because you're not really making any moves yourself or maybe it's just to make you mad perhaps?' He couldn't say for sure one way or the other. For all he knew Kanone could have only done that, strictly, as a way to get his hair tie. He turned his head back towards the door for a moment once he'd noticed that Aamori was turning away and looked like she was going to leave. He looked back to Celestine briefly. '...Looks like maybe you've scared her off...'

Cyndel 04-06-2009 07:45 PM

Hikari smiled slightly when Kyran kissed her cheek in return and then watched him go to the bed. She followed him over and then sighed a little when he cringed and then just sat down beside him. She shook her head a little when he said that it wouldn't kill her not to go healing everything for a while. "I'm pretty sure she just doesn't want me to pass out and sleep for a whole day again. Even still, LaRae is running around with a broken arm and after looking at it I'm pretty sure she's broken it even worse than she had before trying to get that cast off...I know she left a nasty friction burn on her arm at least... I haven't even gotten to see how Nero's arm and leg are doing since we got back, either." She sighed heavily and then just fell over backwards on the bed again, looking a little miffed. "I'm going to need to stock up on healing supplies once we get back to Glenys... This trip is barely half over and I'm already nearly out of that stuff that your uncle gave me... you guys need to stop breaking things."

It didn't take Kanone very long upon reaching the other end of the house to determine which room would be Nero's. Marius had left his door open a crack and he was pretty sure that Nero wasn't really the type to leave his door open. He moved over to the other one and sighed softly. He hoped that Nero wouldn't mind too much that he came over to bother him. Honestly it just gave him something to do, but he was a little curious about how he was doing. Finally he raised his hand to the door and knocked softly. He didn't really want to wake Nero up so he assumed he was only knocking loud enough to be heard if he was already awake, though that would also depend on how light of a sleeper he was.

Celestine sighed again heavily as he listened to Nobu. 'If that's what he's after he's doing a good job of it...' he replied bluntly, 'How am I supposed to make a move? I've never even had a girlfriend before. Every time I think I like a girl, Kanone gets a crush on her.' He sighed heavily and closed his eyes. The last thing he wanted to do was make a fool of himself. Most girls just say him as a pretty guy they could try to dress up and play with his hair, and he really had no idea how to go about telling Aamori that he liked her. He glanced up when Nobu said that he thought he'd scared her off and then sighed again as he pushed himself up off of the bed. He didn't even say a word, just moved across the room swiftly and just as silently as always before he came to a stop behind Aamori and reached down to grab her hand and stop her form getting out the door. "...Where are you going?" he asked quietly before he gave her hand a gentle tug toward the other room. "...My comb is in here."

Kyran stared over at Hikari for a moment after she had brought up LaRae running around with a broken arm. He hadn't heard a great many details into that other than what he was over hearing really or if Hikari had complained about it at all during the three day lapse. "...She really shouldn't have taken that cast off, even if it wasn't healing any more." He paused. "...Breaks, cracks, holes, anything really ...so long as it's small can be repaired and the process can be picked up where it was left off." He said quietly. "The stuff starts out as a gel after all. It can be applied to cracks and stuff as filler." He paused. "....Or at least my uncle's told me that the casts can be repaired. I'm not sure if he's actually tried... I think most of his patients behave and leave the cast alone like they're told." He sighed quietly. "...The info is quite a bit late, but I wasn't aware that the cast was broken to begin with or else I may have been able to advise...." He shook his head lightly. "As for Nero... I don't even know how he's doing. Once we got to the house and exchanged a couple words on that first night he went straight back to a room and has been barred up inside of it since." He paused and looked back at her while she was laying back on the bed. "I can't even say whether or not he's left that room for anything to eat. I'm fairly certain if he's left at all it was only to go into the bathroom and then back into the bedroom." He shrugged lightly. "...That's pretty sure that's normal behavior for him though." He sighed quietly after she made mention of being nearly out of the stuff that his uncle had given her. "Unfortunately I think breaking things is almost inevitable given our task." He paused. "Not to mention trying outright not to break anything would probably only lead to more things being broken. I mean it isn't like anyone's purposely gone out of their way to make sure they break something. It just kind of happens." He finally turned slightly on the bed so that he could see her without turning his head so much. "...I guess if it really came down to it I could always make a trip back to see my uncle and get some more of the stuff for you. I'm pretty sure he'll have some other stuff he's willing to part with as well... or even made something new." He paused. "Plus I'm sure he's dying to know how it's worked out for you. He'd love to know how it works for someone else in case he needs to improve it in any way."

Nero was pretty easy to wake up so long as he wasn't completely dead tired and luckily he'd slept plenty in the past couple days. He wasn't asleep when he heard someone at the door but he wasn't in any hurry to get up and go see who it was. If he had to guess he was leaning towards Hikari or maybe Kyran being on the other side of that door. He really couldn't see anyone else bothering with him and Hikari really was the only one who even bothered to hover at a time like this. He continued to stare rather blankly at the door as if he was waiting for who ever was on the other side to just walk away but he did finally start to sit himself up and stand up. Once he was on his feet he started to step over to the door but paused. If Hikari was the person on the other side of the door he guessed it'd be better not to open the door and greet her in nothing more than his underwear again. As much as seeing her react to that again he decided against it and stepped over to the dresser long enough to slip into his pants. After he'd gotten his pants on he returned to the door and reluctantly cracked it open just enough to peek outside. He was pleasantly relieved not to be blinded by Hikari's sparkly white ass, though he was a little thrown off to see Kanone of all people at the door. He cracked the door open a little bit more and rubbed his eyes slightly because it was brighter out in the hall rather than in his room. "....Well you certainly aren't white and sparkly...." He paused. "Did you need something?"

Nobu continued to look up at Celestine for a moment and then shook his head. 'I'm pretty sure that you're not the only one without any relationship experience.... at any rate I can't very well give you advice on how to make a move... I'm just a dog.' He said with a quiet laugh. Honestly, advice on relationships from a canine was a bit amusing. 'As for Kanone developing a crush on the girls you like... well... maybe you just have good taste?' He watched as Celestine got to his feet and headed out the door after Aamori, he suspected.

Aamori hadn't quite gotten close enough to the door to get it open when she felt Celestine grab her hand. She turned slightly so that she could see him once he'd asked where she was going. It was pretty clear where she was going, wasn't it? She had thought she'd just quietly sneak out the front door and probably come back later when she hoped he wouldn't be in such a sour mood. She stared at him briefly before giving in easily to the tug at her hand towards the other room. "...You looked mad..." She mumbled. "...I was going to give you some space..." She told him quietly.
