Celestine smiled again when Nobu said that he loved him too and apologized for any trouble. He just shook his head a little and leaned his head over against Nobu's lightly as he tightened his grip a little. "It's alright..." he said quietly, "...I'm alright..." He nuzzled against Nobu again and then just sighed softly and closed his eyes as he kept his head against Nobu's. He sat like that for a good while before he finally released Nobu and sat back a bit. He did at least seem to be in a better mood now from earlier. He ran his fingers over Nobu's fur again and then sat back against the tree once more before he patted his leg again lightly, again inviting Nobu to lay across his lap or at least use his leg for a pillow. He leaned his head back again and then sighed softly and reached down to his side again and picked up his pipe again and then glanced down to it again for a moment before he just laid it back down again without even bothering to play a note. He slipped the pipe back into his bag and then just reached over to rub Nobu behind the ears. He was pretty content staying back here with him. He still didn't really want to be around everyone else, and frankly, he had a feeling that Zale and Kyiri playing together could get to be fairly dangerous. After all, they'd already knocked him in a fountain once.
Kanone shook his head when Aamori called Kyiri cute. "Yeah, cute and obnoxious. You try keeping her for a few years and see how well that goes," he said simply. He blinked when she handed him the treat and told him to feed Kyiri and she would be nice to him. "...Right..." he said flatly, "If I don't feed her she'll just steal my food." He sighed and then held out the little cube of fish so that Kyiri could take it when she was finished showing on the one that she had now.
Kyiri just mewed again when Aamori made the comment about not wanting to pig out on all of the treats at once. She didn't want them all, but she did want more than two. She took the treat from Aamori and again started to chow down from her position on Zale's head, still trying her best to purr while eating. Once she had finished that one she looked over to Kanone and then hopped over into his lap and took the treat from him before laying down in his lap and chewing up the treat on his knee. Once she'd finished she just looked up at him and licked her lips before laying her head back down and remaining curled up on Kanone's leg, still purring softly. She was content enough with four treats, and so long as Kanone didn't throw her on the ground, she didn't care to lay on him. She didn't really want to play right after eating. Now it was nap time.

Nobu didn't budge at all until Celestine finally released him. Once he had done that he just kinda stood where he was and stared over at him quietly. He was kind of glad that Kyran had pushed him into doing this, it had been easier than he thought it would be. He was glad that Celestine seemed so understanding and he did feel a bit better himself after this little chat. It hadn't been much of a talk but at least it had seemed to solve some of the issues. He continued to stare over at him until he noticed him pat his leg again. He wagged his tails slightly and inched over to him before laying down and this time resting his head in Celestine's lap. He was a big dog, bigger than Esen so he didn't really want to go laying across Celestine's lap.
Aamori stared at Kyiri after Kanone had said for her to try keeping her for a few years and how well it goes. She smiled a bit and then returned her glance to Kanone. "She isn't as bad as you make her sound. Annon kept her for several days and had no gripes whatsoever with her." She shook her head lightly after he had made mention of Kyiri stealing his food if he didn't feed her. "Of course she will." She paused. "If you were supposed to feed me and you didn't I'd steal your food too." She told him. "So long as you remember you have to feed a pet they do behave for you." She added. "Also, she steals your food because she knows better than to take Celestine's. She'd probably get into a lot of trouble with him for doing that, not that he'd let her starve enough for that to happen in the first place." She watched when Kyiri finally made it over to Kanone to eat the treat that he'd held out for her. She smiled once Kyiri had eaten the treat and just laid down in Kanone's lap. "See. I told you she'd be nice." She told him as she started to put the small bag back into her backpack and close it all up tightly.

Celestine glanced down to Nobu again and smiled slightly as he rubbed his head and stroked his fur. After waking up so early today and spending so much time on the move he was fairly tired and being over here in the quiet with one major stress off of his mind, he could pretty easily fall asleep. He closed his eyes as he laid his head back against the tree. He continued to rub the top of Nobu's head gently as he began to hum softly to the same tune that he had been playing on his pipe before. He continued to hum for a short while before he finally fell silent and his hand went still on top of Nobu's head. Before too much longer he had already fallen into a light sleep and his head fell down against his chest.
Kanone rolled his eyes slightly when Aamori said that she would steal his food too if he forgot to feed her. "But she's a cat, can't she like...catch a bird or somethin'?" he said simply. He sighed when Kyiri decided to make herself comfortable in his lap and then rolled his eyes again at Aamori's comment. "Yeah yeah..." he said dully as he leaned back against the tree again. He looked down to Kyiri again and sighed before he started to stroke her fur gently. He did at least like animals, and he could tolerate Kyiri so long as she wasn't being a little pest. Even he had to admit that she was kinda of cute...when she was sleeping. After a moment he yawned and closed his own eyes for a few moments, which almost inevitably led him to start dozing off.
It took Hikari roughly two hours to get back to the city at a run, though that was after a thirty minute break when she took a spill after tripping herself on an upraised root. She managed to skin up her arms and scrape her knee as well as put a tear in her boot. It only took her another twenty minutes to get the five sets of glasses that she thought she would need. She got an extra pair just in case someone else's eyes were bothered by the light. On her way back she took it a bit slower, which extended her time in getting back to about two and a half hours. She was about right when she said it could be five hours or so return. Of course she'd had to follow Esen's nose back to the group, but once she got there, she wasn't too surprised to see that Celestine was missing and a good portion of the group had dozed off already. Kanone was already out cold by the time she returned, as was Nanashi. She assumed that Celestine was probably asleep somewhere as well considering that he usually went to bed pretty early.

Nobu stayed pretty quiet while he laid with his head resting in Celestine's lap. He did notice pretty easily when Celestine started to get tired. It really didn't take much at all to pick up on something like that. After Celestine had finally fallen asleep he just nuzzled against him for a brief moment before thinking he may go ahead and get some sleep himself though part of him knew Kyran pretty well and thought that he shoud've been closer should he be needed to go look for Hikari and Esen. He didn't really want to leave Celestine though so he tried to push that to the back of his mind and stay put. Besides, Esen could handle getting them back. Kyran was just rather protective and would likely start pulling out his hair if Hikari did take longer than she said she would.
Aamori shook her head lightly at Kanone's statement about Kyiri being a cat. "She's a pet, not a wild cat. She probably doesn't focus on that instinct much anymore." She responded. In all honesty an animal for a pet was liable to have their instincts to hunt go a bit dormant when they didn't have to feed themselves. Most pets had good owners who took care of the feeding for them. She kept an eye on Kyiri, mostly because she didn't want her to suddenly pester Kanone and at the same time she didn't want Kanone to do the same to her. She noticed a little while after when Kanone had fallen asleep and sighed softly. She was kind of tired herself and as soon as she shifted her glance over to Zale he started to get up and move even closer to her, like he knew that she was going to ask him to come be her pillow again. She smiled a little and leaned over onto him from where she was sitting next to Kanone and then wrapped one arm around to the front of his chest before snuggling against him and closing her eyes gently. She half thought holding onto his chest, or at least having her arm there might remind him he was a pillow and not to jump up so suddenly.
Kyran hadn't moved a whole lot from where he was sitting waiting for Hikari to come back. He had stayed awake the whole time though he kept a watch on the others as they started dropping like flies. Everyone else seemed to be asleep, aside from him. He couldn't see Celestine or Nero but he assumed the two of them were asleep. He could see the others and they'd all called it a night. He was trying to wait as patiently as possible though he was starting to grow increasingly worried as it got later and later. He was incredibly relieved to finally see her return. He wasted little time at all getting back up to his feet once she had returned. "Welcome back." He said with a bit of smile, glad to see her back in one piece. Or at least by the looks of it from where he was.

Hikari nearly startled when Kyran spoke up and looked back to him with a slight smile, glad that she was wearing a long skirt that hid her injured knee from view. "Hey...you're still up?" She smiled and moved closer to him before wrapping her arm around him. She had the glasses stuffed down into her bag, though she wasn't sure if anyone else was awake to get them. She sighed and then glanced around a bit before she sighed. "...Kyran, you really didn't have to wait up....aren't you tired?" She knew that she was tired, but she could rest soon enough. She had gotten one specific set of glasses for Nero, and she wanted to make sure that he had them before morning. After a moment she shook her head a little and then sighed. "...I need to find Nero...he doesn't need to be off somewhere by himself here, just on the off chance someone does happen across him... I doubt anyone would out here, but even still it's not a good idea for him to be too far away..." She reached into her bag then and pulled out the pair of glasses on top before holding them up. The lenses were made of the black crystal material that could be found all over the forest, though it was cut very thinly, and large enough to cover the entire eye and a large area around it, though unfortunately, the glasses were rather obviously made for women as the dark silver frames were decorated with small swirling designs that went into the corners of the lenses and decorated the areas around the hinges. "This was the best I could come up with...we use these to block the light from our eyes from being too bright and attracting too much attention...I would assume it would work well to block out most of the light from the outside." She slipped the glasses on for a moment, just to show Kyran what she meant. Being as it was night, her eyes were glowing rather brightly, though as soon as she put on the glasses the glow almost completely disappeared. Being as the crystal was so thin a small amount of light still shown through though it was only barely noticeable and really was more of a dim glow than a shine. In the sunlight it would likely make it appear more as if it were night than day to anyone wearing them. Though right now Hikari could barely see a thing considering how little light there was in the first place. She pulled the glasses from her eyes and then sighed as she glanced off in the direction that Nero had gone.
Esen looked up to Hikari once they had gotten back and sat down beside her as she spoke to Kyran. She knew that she wanted to find Nero, but she was pretty sure that she could find him on her own. She glanced in the direction that she was sure Celestine had gone before she stretched and wandered over to Kanone to lay down beside him. She didn't see Nobu, so she assumed he must be with Celestine at the moment and she didn't really want to interrupt them. She didn't mind Kanone at all, really, and she thought he might have even made a halfway decent master were he not so careless at times. That was more or less the only reason she preferred Celestine having her blades over him.

Kyran merely nodded his head slightly in response to her asking that he was still up. Of course he was. He'd have done everything in his power to stay awake even longer had she not come back when she did. He smiled a bit more noticeably after she came over and wrapped her arm around him. He leaned down slightly and kissed the top of her head lightly before straightening back up. "I know that. I wanted to be awake when you got back." He told her. He was tired but he wasn't going to sleep a wink until she'd come back. Now that she was back, he'd be able to follow suit with the others and go ahead and get some sleep. He tilted his head slight after hearing her say that she needed to find Nero and then nodded his head a little in understanding. He watched momentarily while she dug out a pair of glasses and showed them to him. He just kind of shook his head a little after getting a good look at them. They were rather feminine looking and he did feel sorry for Nero. He options were very limited, he'd either wear them or go blind. He listened to what she had said about the purpose they were used for and then watched the demonstration. "Those sure do the job." He commented after seeing just how well the glasses worked at blocking the light from her eyes. He sighed quietly once she had looked off in the direction that Nero had gone. "Go ahead and find him, I don't think he's gone quite that far." He said quietly and started to return to where he was sitting under the tree. He was going to go ahead and make himself comfortable since she was back.
Nero really hadn't gone all that far. From where he was sitting, had he not been on the side of the tree that he was you could probably very easily spot him from where Aamori and Kanone were. He'd positioned him at just the right angle behind the tree that if any part of him could be seen it would most likely only be his wings and in the dark that probably wasn't easily seen. He was sitting under the tree with one knee bent and pulled close to him with both arms resting on top of his knee so that he could rest his head against his arms. He was asleep and had been for awhile now. He was still a bit scatterbrained at the moment, even while sleeping so he wasn't going to wake up as easily as he might have otherwise. Being in this territory really had turned him around quite a bit.

Hikari nodded her head slightly when he said that the glasses did their job and them half smiled. "...The black crystals almost completely block out the light...but one can still see through them if they're cut thinly enough, so they make pretty good shade lenses." She nodded again when he told her to go find him and then half smiled and nodded. "Alright..." she said quietly. She stood for a moment and watched him go back to where he was before she turned and started to walk back the way that Nero had gone. She almost walked right by him, though she happened to catch sight of him as she turned her head to the side a little. Normally, he wasn't asleep at this time of night, so she assumed that he was likely still awake with his head down. She moved over beside him and knelt down slowly, careful to remember not to sit down on her scraped knee. She let her good knee rest on the around and sat with the other raised a little, though the way that the skirt was made only caused it to fall away from her raised knee. She would have liked to keep that hidden, but she didn't really have a way to do so. Finally she reached over and placed her free hand gently on Nero's shoulder. "...Hey, Nero?" she said lightly, tilting her head a bit with a slight smile. She sighed and then held up the glasses that she'd brought for him. "...Here." She didn't know that he was asleep, so she was just walking to him in her normal tone. If he was a decently light sleeper she might still wake him up, though unintentionally. Had she known he was asleep already she would have just laid the glasses on his leg and walked away.

Nero was very much asleep by the time Hikari had made her way over to him. He didn't budge at all really when she set her hand on his shoulder. He continued to sit there unmoving even after she had said his name. He was usually a light sleeper, especially in these situations where he wasn't sleeping somewhere considered safe. He was no where near a light sleeper tonight though and he'd fallen asleep well before he usually did. The territory along with all the concerns and worries he had really had done a number on him and he practically just passed out while sitting where he was. His ears did twitch very faintly, mostly a reaction to the sound that was so close though he didn't even register what was being said or that he was even being talked to.

Hikari sat there silently for a moment with her hand on his shoulder. She tilted her head a little when she say Nero's ear twitch, but was a little surprised when he didn't raise his head. She continued to sit there for a few moments before she sighed softly and lowered the sun glasses before laying them down in his lap so that he would find them when he woke up. She was a bit surprised that he was already asleep and shook her head a little. She felt a bit sorry for Nero. She was sure that he wasn't looking forward to being here. Finally she sighed and gently rubbed his shoulder for a moment before patting him lightly and pushing herself back up to her feet. She wanted Nero to come back and sit near them, but since he was asleep, she didn't see that she really needed to wake him, not to mention they weren't that far away from him. Once she was back on her feet she walked back over to where Kyran had sat down and took a seat beside him before nuzzling up against him and closing her eyes. Considering she'd traveled a few miles more than everyone else at a much faster pace, she was fairly tired by now. As soon as she was comfortable she was already dozing off a bit.

Nero still didn't budge the entire time that Hikari was right there next to him. He didn't even register that there was another person that close whereas he normally would have. He really just wasn't himself. He did finally shift a little once Hikari had left the glasses and gone back to Kyran. He merely burrowed his head a little more into his arms and continued sleeping.
Kyran was still awake, just barely, once Hikari had come back from going to find Nero. He smiled a bit and watched as she sat down and nuzzled up against him. He wasn't really that surprised to see her fall asleep as fast as she had. The extra stint must have really worn her out. He was at least a bit relieved that she had fallen asleep as fast as she had since he'd been wanting to go to sleep himself. He'd have stayed awake as long as he possibly could if she weren't already ready to call it a night. He shifted slightly, just enough to slip an arm around her and hold her close before shutting his own eyes so that he could finally get to sleep himself.
Nero had a bit of an uncomfortable time sleeping and not too long after everyone else was already asleep for the night he stirred again. He didn't exactly wake up but he had cracked his eyes open lazily and leaned back against the tree rather than resting his head in his arms. He hadn't noticed the glasses yet and probably wouldn't until morning when he was actually waking up. He went right back to sleep after he was leaned back against the tree with his arms resting in his lap.
Roughly halfway through the night someone did finally stumble upon the group, or at least most of them. The dragon at first glance, or maybe all glances, would look female though he most certainly was not. He wasn't very tall and had a very slim, nearly skin and bones, body. His complexion was almost identical to Nero's and his hair was black as well. He was quite obviously from the dark clan, though if not for the black wings and tail one might question what clan he really belonged to as his personality wasn't quite like Nero's. His wings were solid black both on the exterior and the inner. His tail was the same as his wings, black, minus the very tip which was a hard white cap that looked just like his horns. Just like Nero he had ivory horns though his were smaller and shorter than Nero's and curved in towards one another very slightly. His black hair was a pretty decent length and fell in twin braids in front of his body down to his hips. His eyes were a shade very similar to emerald green and both of his ears were pierced; a single silver stud in each ear. He wore a high neck green sweater dress that conveniently hid what little of an adams apple he had. The sweater dress had three quarter sleeves with a bit of lace at the end along with a silver design printed on the front lower right side of the dress. Beneath the sweater dress he wore black leggings that fell just past his knees with the same lace trimming as the sweater dress. Lastly he wore a pair of plain black maryjane shoes with white calf high socks. The socks were laced at the top with ribbon the same color as the sweater dress and then neatly tied into bows.
He hadn't bothered with anyone in the group in particular and was for the most part just quietly passing through trying not to wake a single one of them at least until he happened to notice someone he recognized. He was ecstatic though it probably didn't show as he was trying to keep deathly silent. He'd been searching for Nero for quite some time so he was glad that his search was finally over and in a place like this no less. He slipped closer to Nero and crouched down a bit, holding tight to the end of his dress so that it didn't ride up. He eyed Nero for a few moments rather surprised to see that he hadn't noticed him and hadn't woken up just by feeling his presence. He knew Nero pretty well and he should've woken up no problem without his saying anything or at least he thought so. He tilted his head slightly and removed one hand from his dress to reach over and poke him in the cheek. He grinned widely seeing that Nero didn't even so much as flinch at the touch. It didn't take long at all for him to decide to get his rest in as well. He moved over just beside him and sat down, seconds later reaching over to carefully lift up one of Nero's arms and slip it around him before cuddling in close to him and nuzzling his head against his chest. He'd been searching for a good while the past couple days with little to no really good sleep so he wasted no time at all getting comfortable and going to sleep.

As usual it was early in the morning when Celestine awoke, and the sun was just barely rising. He sighed softly, sure that it would still be a while before the others were awake. He knew Kanone would likely sleep until someone kicked him over, Aamori probably wouldn't be too far behind him, and he didn't know about the others. He stretched a little and then glanced down to Nobu, smiling slightly when he saw that he was still there with him. He continued to sit there for a while before he gently started to stroke Nobu's head. He remained sitting there for couple of hours until the sun was up entirely and he thought there may be a chance that someone else was up. He was at least in a better mood than he had been yesterday, though it probably wouldn't be too hard to set him off again as it usually took him a bit to get over being overly annoyed. Finally he gently slipped his hand under Nobu's chin and lifted his head just enough to slip his legs out from under him. One of his legs was nearly asleep from having Nobu laying on it all night, but he didn't really mind it. It would go away in a few minutes at least. He wasn't sure if Nobu was awake or not so he was slow to lower his hand from his head, just in case so that he could put his head back down on his paws if he wasn't awake. Again he stroked the top of Nobu's head gently before he stood up and glanced back toward the area where the others where the night before. He sighed before starting over in that general direction.
Kyiri was up at practically the crack of dawn as well, and not too surprised to see that Kanone was still put cold...and snoring. She looked up at him for a moment and laid one ear back as she stared at him with only one eye open and then hopped out of his lap, careful not to land on Zale or Esen. Esen appeared to be asleep as well, though without eyes it really was hard for her to tell one way or the other. She looked around, noting that Nanashi was still asleep leaned against the tree with his head resting against LaRae's and Hikari was still snuggled up against Kyran. She sighed and then started to trot off int he direction that Nero had gone before, mostly just to see if he was awake or not. She came to a dead stop and stared at the other dragon that was snuggled up against him. She didn't know Nero had a girlfriend. She just stood there, stone still for a few moments, staring at the very feminine looking dragon beside Nero. She wasn't entirely sure what to make of this, since...well she didn't know who this was and she wasn't entirely sure why she would be laying on Nero of all people. After a minute or two she slowly inched closer to the newcomer and then placed her front paws on the supposed girl's leg and raised up onto her hind legs, sniffing at the girl's face while she slept.

The boy continued to sleep well into the morning and without moving from where he was snuggled against Nero. Neither one of the two of them had stirred just yet and unfortunately Nero hadn't even noticed once while he was sleeping that there was someone so close to him. The boy was quite content where he was sleeping and it probably read easily on his face. His ears twitched very slightly when he felt something touch him but other than that he didn't stir. He was used to having an animal near him so having paws on him or being sniffed at really wasn't anything that was going to wake him easily, or at least it wasn't enough to force him to open his eyes. Not to mention he'd been aware that he'd gone to sleep in a forest so there were bound to be more animals around.
Nobu had still been asleep when Celestine got up and continued to rest at least until Celestine had decided to get up. He tried not to budge while Celestine moved his head and waited until after he had gotten up to start moving a bit himself. He started to get to his feet and started stretching in the process before getting to his feet fully. He wagged his tails behind him slightly and then started to follow after Celestine since he was heading back the other way. He didn't really want to stay out here by himself when he could go back with Celestine.

Kyiri tilted her head slightly when the girl's ears twitched and then pawed lightly at her face, trying to wake her up, though seconds later she felt an itch on her neck and began scratching, causing the tiny golden bell around her neck to start jingling like mad. After she'd finished scratching she shook herself out and then sighed again and just crawled up in the girl's lap and sat down. At least Kyiri didn't weigh much more then four pounds, so she wasn't going to be too heavy.
Celestine glanced back when he heard Nobu moving and smiled slightly at the sight of him coming after him. He paused for a moment and let him catch up and then reached down to rub the top of his head gently. "Sorry...I was trying not to wake you," he said quietly. He was just tired of sitting there, especially since the ground propped against a tree wasn't the most comfortable position to remain in. At least with Nobu there he had managed to get some decent sleep without any unpleasant dreams. He kept his hand gently on Nobu's head as he walked and occasionally scratched behind his ears. He kept a slow pace, but it still didn't take him more than a couple of minute to get back to where he had left the others. He wasn't the least bit surprised to see that everyone was sleeping, though after taking a second glance around he nearly panicked. "Kyiri?" he called quietly, not wanting to wake anyone. He looked around for a few moments and then started to walk over to where he heard the small bell jingling. He came to a sudden stop when he saw the unfamiliar dragon curled up against Nero. He stared for a long moment at the new arrival and then at Kyiri who was sitting in what he was fairly certain was a girl's lap. He of course did ponder the possibility of it being a feminine boy like him, but considering all of the...lace and ribbons and girlish clothes, he threw that out the window pretty fast. He stood there for a few moments, not wanting to get too close to the strange girl, but he did creep closer, trying to move silently to keep from waking the girl. He wanted to get his cat and get out of dodge. Frankly, he didn't see a threat from the girl, but he still didn't want to be too close to her when she woke up. He stepped forward and leaned over a little, trying to reach for Kyiri, but unfortunately, he happened to put his foot down on a broken slab of crystal, which almost immediately slipped out from under his foot. He yelped quietly when he felt himself falling, but considering that he was already leaned over, in spite of trying to straighten up, he still wound up falling right across the girl's lap and half into Nero's, though thankfully Kyiri managed to dive across Nero's lap and onto the forest floor again, only to look back at him with wide eyes and meow.

He still refused to wake up even after feeling something pawing at his face. His ears did twitch quite a bit more once the bell had started jingling. No wild animal in their right mind would have a bell on so of course that was starting to pull him out of his sleep though he did fight it and try snuggling closer to Nero. He really didn't want to get up yet, especially knowing Nero. He'd never hear the end of it for sleeping on him like he did not to mention for even being here in the first place. He would have most likely gotten back to sleep successfully had there not wound up suddenly being a heavier surprise in his lap. He yelped himself mostly from surprise when he felt something land in his lap and then he cracked his eyes open to see what it was. He was a bit surprised to see there was an actual body in his lap and not one that he'd seen last night. He just kind of stared down at the boy who'd fallen into his lap. It wasn't everyday that he woke up to find such a cute looking boy in his lap. He couldn't help but smile a bit. "You okay?" He asked curiously. "You're not hurt are ya?" Even his voice sounded quite feminine with practically no traces whatsoever of his masculinity.
Nero startled quite a bit himself once Celestine had wound up falling on them. He stared at Celestine for a moment once it had clicked about what had fallen partially on him and unfortunately it took him a moment or two longer to even notice the dragon beside him. It wasn't until he'd heard the voice and recognized it that he really focused on who was there and practically jumped to the side slightly after yanking his arm away from the dragon. He'd managed to move himself pretty quickly out of the reach of the dragon and away from Celestine too, just from sheer surprise of that individual being here. He hadn't even noticed him before, nor did he even realize when he arrived. He was honestly a little ashamed but you wouldn't know that by looking at him. At the moment he just looked severely annoyed, especially since the guys first words were if Celestine was okay. He just glared over at him and then started to get to his feet while dusting himself off a bit. Unfortunately he hadn't even noticed the glasses that Hikari had left for him and they were now just sitting on the ground. He stared over at the boy and growled slightly before finally opening his mouth. "What do you think you're doing here?!" He snapped, though still trying his best to keep his cool, though considering how everything else with him had been off since yesterday that somehow didn't seem like it'd be an easy task.
He barely took his eyes off the dragon in his lap even once Nero had started moving. He was just a bit mesmerized by how pretty the boy was. Obviously the boy was similar to him in the sense that they were both pretty enough to be girls. He finally broke his attention off the boy and glanced over towards Nero, smiling still even though Nero was quite obviously pissed. "It's nice to see you too, Nero. Now who's your friend?" He asked pleasantly before looking back at the boy and doing all he could not just flat out cuddle him to death.
Nobu had followed Celestine even once he had gone looking for Kyiri. Of course he figured a nose like his would come in handy if Celestine couldn't find the cat just by looking for her with his eyes. He was a bit surprised himself when Celestine finally stumbled upon Kyiri and found her sitting in some strange dragons lap. He didn't entirely have time to focus on the girl cuddled up beside Nero because he'd felt like there was something else near them and it gave off a rather distinct feeling. He couldn't quite explain it but it did seem familiar in a way though at the same time it was a bit unnerving. His fur had started standing on end a bit without his even thinking about it. His attention shifted however when Celestine yelped and wound up in Nero and the girl's lap. By the time he went back to trying to feel for that presence it seemed to have disappeared, or at least faded enough that he couldn't feel it like before.

Celestine was almost too humiliated to raise his head from Nero's lap, though after Nero startled away from them, be didn't really have time to do anything before his head his the ground and he groaned. His arms were even still outstretched against the forest floor. He finally started to push himself up again, his face almost completely red. He glanced over to the girl as he sat back quickly, and had just opened his mouth to answer her when Nero snapped at her. He looked up to Nero for a moment and then glanced back to the girl again, just closing his mouth. He turned his attention down to Kyiri again when she decided to come bounding up into his lap and climbed her way up to his shoulder again before practically burying herself under his hair after Nero had snapped. He just groaned softly and laid his ears back flat, still looking rather humiliated. Normally, he was much more graceful than this, but even he could trip or slide down occasionally, though he really wished that it hadn't been in Nero and a perfect stranger's lap. He glanced back to the girl again when she asked Nero who his friend was and then looked away again. "...Sorry," he said simply, directing the short apology to the both of them as he started to stand up, dusting off his long green tunic. He backed up a few paces and then glanced at Nero and then to the ground near where he stood. "...You dropped something..." he said simply as he backed up just enough to be even with Nobu. He knew that the girl was already probably assuming that he was a girl as well, so he was half trying to sound a little more masculine than usual, though with his soft toned voice, that was practically impossible. He didn't particularly want to be around Nero when he was agitated, but he thought it would be a little rude to just take off, so he just stood there awkwardly. "...My name is Celestine," he said shortly, just so that the girl's question was actually answered. He somehow doubted Nero was going to answer it for him.
Esen was rather easily awoken by the small commotion, and after a moment she stood up and stretched just a little before padding quickly over to where Nobu was standing. She looked at the new arrival for a moment and then started up at Celestine before looking over to Nobu. '...Who is she?' she asked quietly as she edged a little closer to Nobu's side, though she was also backing up a little. She had been getting a little better with her shyness, but she still didn't do too well with entirely new people. She knew that there probably wasn't anything to worry about, but she'd felt something a little off too, though the feeling was gone before it really even registered to her. she shook out her fur a little and then looked up to Celestine and tilted her head slightly.

Nero wasn't really that peeved with Celestine, he'd figured that he must have tripped or something, a mere accident. He didn't think the boy would go and purposely throw himself in their laps just for the fun of it. All of his anger and annoyance was solely directed at the idiot that had found him and fallen asleep on him. He barely even registered that Celestine had said he dropped something, he had heard him but wasn't bothering to look since he was still waiting for an answer out of the other though by the looks of it he wasn't getting one as he'd immediately gone into asking who Celestine was. He shook his head and sighed heavily while trying to keep himself from wanting to just hit the guy. "I think you forgot something, Reyes... why in the hell are you even here?!" He tried again, steadily raising his voice a little as he made it to the end of his question. He really did love the kid, somewhere in his heart but at the moment he wanted nothing more than to pack him up and send him home to his mother.
Reyes practically ignored Nero while he fumed and waited for either of the two of them to answer the one question he had asked. He tilted his head slightly once the boy who had fallen in his lap wound up backed away a good bit of distance. He continued to sit where he was though he did start lifting his arms and checking himself for something that would make the boy move away like that. Maybe he smelled weird? He sniffed at himself lightly and shrugged a little once he'd come to the conclusion he didn't smell that different than he usually did. He smiled rather brightly once he'd gotten a name to place with the wind dragon's face. He started to get to his feet, dusting off the rear of his dress. "I don't bite like my cousin does, you didn't have to move away like that, Celestine." He said as he looked over at him, continuing to smile a bit. He couldn't help but grin just a little. "You know, I don't think I've ever been woken up to a cute boy in my lap before." He said and then chuckled lightly. He wasn't upset about it and that was probably pretty easy to read. He did lay his ears back slightly at Nero's tone and the way he'd said his name though he did refrain from looking over at him. "Did I forget to answer, or did you forget to ask nicely?" He muttered and then sighed quietly. "...Kana told me to find you and follow you." He paused. "So here I am."
Nobu hadn't been too bothered by Nero though he wasn't sure he could take too much of his being angry without keeping up a facade of being perfectly fine. He watched as Celestine wound up backing up and moving back towards him. He glanced up at him a little and then turned his attention to Esen momentarily since she'd wound up over here as well. He stared at her for a moment after she'd asked her question and then glanced back towards the new girl. '...Apparently ...Nero's cousin?' He said a bit unsurely. The two just seemed really different so he wasn't sure they were even related but then again... Celestine and Kanone were pretty different. He glanced back to Esen again and tilted his head slightly. '...Did you pick up on the same presence I did? He asked curiously. It wasn't that hard for the canines to pick up on each others presence but that didn't always mean that they did register it and unfortunately they couldn't really say which was which until they met the canine and spent enough time around them to be able to tell the difference. Even then it could be difficult if you weren't aware of the presences. Like in Zale's case, the poor guy was too scatterbrained to even focus on those things so he likely wouldn't even notice.

Celestine continued to stand there, half listening to Esen and Nobu as they conversed, though he was also trying to stay focused on Nero and the girl, whom he assumed was named Reyes. That almost sounded like a boy's name, but he guessed it could, like his, go either way, really. He blinked in surprise when Reyes made mention of him being a boy, and cute on top of that, and he couldn't stop his face from turning red again as he looked away quickly, trying to focus more on Esen and Nobu for the time being. He glanced back to Reyes and Nero for a moment and then sighed softly and slowly stepped away from the two canines and a little closer to the two of them, though he glanced over to Nero briefly. "...Calm down..." he said calmly, keeping his voice at that soft, steady pace that was so monotone it was almost relaxing in itself. He had no idea who Kana was, but he didn't think he really needed to know. He looked back to Reyes again and then sighed softly, "Seems like we are developing a plague of cousins tagging along..." He cast a very brief glance over toward Kanone and then sighed and looked back to Nero. "...Try not to wake everyone up yelling at her...you're scaring Esen." He looked back to Esen and Nobu again when he heard Nobu ask Esen about a presence. 'What are you talking about?'
Esen titled her head a little when Nobu said that she was Nero's cousin. She glanced back to the girl and then cowered a little when Nero raised his voice at the girl and whined softly. She glanced back to Nobu again when he asked her if she had felt the same presence that he had and then shook her head weakly. '...I felt...something...' she responded quietly, 'I just...don't really know what...it was gone quickly.' After Celestine looked back at them and asked what they were talking about she tilted her head a little and whined. '...There may be something else here...possibly...'

Nero wasn't thrilled in the slightest to finally hear Reyes answer his question. All he would have had to say was the name 'Kana' and that would likely have been enough. That damned woman really didn't need to go sending Reyes on any type of mission to find him. She knew the general specifics on this whole trip and knew he would be back eventually so he really didn't understand what need there was for her to have Reyes going out to look for him. He hadn't responded to what Reyes answered just yet, rather he was fuming quietly while cursing that damn woman in his head. Honestly, Reyes was young and not really the fighting type... or at least he was never raised to be so she was putting his cousin in danger just for her own selfish reasons. Or at least he assumed that they were selfish reasons, as they usually were. He cast his glance over to Celestine when he heard him say to calm down, though his glance happened to be a glare just because he was quite annoyed. He sighed heavily after a moment, knowing well enough that he didn't need to be getting this upset but he couldn't help it very much. He stared at Celestine as he had continued on to say for him to try not waking everyone else by yelling at her. Oh, that's right, no one else knows that Reyes is really a boy. He shook his head and then looked over to Reyes. "Little girls really should go home." He muttered in his usual tone. "...and Kana shouldn't have sent you. She know's better." He added quietly and finally thought to look down to see what it was he had dropped. He stared at the glasses for a moment with a raised brow and probably wouldn't have even noticed them had Celestine not pointed them out. He hadn't had them before so he wouldn't have know he'd dropped them. He knelt down and picked them up, assuming perhaps that they'd come from Hikari. She had disappeared last night for awhile, so maybe this was what she was getting. He inspected them for a few moments, which took his mind off of being to annoyed at Reyes. He wasn't so sure he liked how girly they looked but just by holding them up to his eyes he'd taken a good guess and thought they'd do well to protect his eyes. He really didn't want to be stuck wearing such girly looking glasses though. He looked back to Reyes and tilted his head slightly since he'd gotten an idea. "...Reyes, do you happen to have your shades with you?" He asked, hoping the boy at least remembered those.
Reyes kept a pretty keen eye on Celestine and couldn't help but smile after catching his face go red just before he had looked away. He was glad to see that Celestine had stepped a little closer to the two of them rather than linger near the canines. He was a bit surprised to see two of them here, though he had seen a third last night, a blue one. So many canines in one area, he just hoped his behaved himself. He turned his attention back to Celestine and smiled again after he had made mention of a plague of cousins. He tilted his head slightly. "Oh, so I'm not the only one?" He asked curiously. "...and I'm not a plague..." He whined at the last minute, like he'd only just realized he'd said that. He looked over at Nero briefly when he said that little girls should go home and stuck his tongue out at him. "You know Kana would skin me alive and hang my hide on her wall if I went back now and without you." He said then shivered slightly at the thought. At times Kana could be a really scary person. He eyed the glasses that Nero had picked up once he had asked him if he'd remembered his shades and then nodded. "Of course I did, let me get them..." He responded and then glanced back and down at his shadow. He eyed it for a moment before thinking it better to go behind a tree or something. "...Give me a minute." He said and then started away from them and over to a tree where he didn't think he'd be easily seen. He double checked just to make sure he couldn't be seen and then snapped his fingers twice and waited.
Mere seconds after Reyes had snapped his fingers a mass of pitch black, almost curly fur seemed to just rise up from his shadow. The fur was straight, at least until it reached the ends where it curled slightly. The canine was large in size and could probably beat out even Nobu in size. He had six tails, all which the tips curled in what seemed a different direction from the next. His ears came to a fine point with a tuft of fur on the ends and like the others his eyes weren't visible. Aside from that he wore a harness that held the two blades to him along with a small pack that could fit a couple things. As soon as he had started to rise from the shadow it would become even more clear, his presence that is and being as he was of the dark clan his presence almost gave an ominous feel. He stood still while Reyes dug into the pack and let him remove the shades before getting a pat on the head and being told he could go back into hiding. Of course he did as he was told and rather quickly sank right back into his masters shadow. Once he was completely out of sight his presence would fade again.
Nobu didn't pay a whole lot of attention to Nero and Reyes for the time being and continued to look at Esen. He nodded his head slightly when she had said that she felt something. Well, at least he wasn't alone. Though he obviously felt it a little more strongly than she had, or at least he assumed so. He glanced to Celestine for a moment since he'd asked what they were talking about and waited for Esen to finish speaking to him. 'I agree with her. Something is most likely near, but for the life of me I can't really smell it or tell you where it's at...' He paused. 'I just... feel....' He cut himself off when he felt the presence more strongly than he had before and then shook his fur out slightly as if trying to shake it. He hadn't been paying attention to Reyes leaving, or anything else for that matter so it was a bit unsettling to catch the presence that strong and so suddenly. It was almost like it was laced with an urge to kill which was giving it that ominous feel. He relaxed a bit once it was gone and then focused on Celestine again. '...It was really strong that time...' He muttered quietly. Depending on just how in tune Celestine was to the different things with the canines he may have been able to pick up on a presence that strong but easily that could be asking a lot. He hadn't felt a presence quite like that with Esen or Zale and he didn't think his was that strong and he couldn't really explain it. Other than perhaps given certain circumstances a presence could just be a lot stronger than others, either that or maybe this thing wanted others to know it was around but couldn't be found. He just wasn't sure.
Reyes hurried back once he'd gotten the shades from the pack on his canine and held them out to show Nero. "See! I remembered mine." He said with a smile though he frowned almost immediately when Nero swiped them from him. "Heeeyyy! Those are mine!" He whined with a pout already creeping onto his face. He shut up pretty quickly once Nero had tossed the girly pair to him. He fumbled with them as he hadn't expected to have anything thrown at him. Once he'd gotten a firm hold of them he lifted them up and started to inspect them a little. He smiled and swayed his tail a little when he saw all the little designs on them. "These are like.... designer ones compared to those! Where did'ya get them?!" He asked, practically squealing with excitement. He'd already guessed Nero was trading, especially since these looked so feminine.
Nero hadn't bothered to concern himself with where Reyes had gone. He didn't know about his cousins canine and nor did he care at the moment so long as he got the kids shades. He was extremely relieved to swipe them from once he got back and showed them to him. He also wasted no time at all giving him the other pair. He slipped the shades on since they'd help his eyes even now, even with it being a bit shaded because of the trees. He looked at Reyes and shook his head when he heard how excited the boy sounded about getting the other glasses. When he asked where he'd gotten them he just sighed quietly and pointed back over his shoulder with his thumb towards Hikari. "Princess sparkly, I believe." He answered. Of course he still didn't know that Hikari really was a princess he'd just remembered she didn't like being called that and had wanted to make an attempt to use it from time to time even if he wasn't talking directly to her.

Celestine barely flinched when Nero wound up glaring at him, mostly because he was well aware of how one could come off when they were already annoyed and he was sure he'd given some pretty mean glares to several people that he wasn't really upset with. He had no idea who this Kana was, but he didn't think it was really any of his business to be asking. He glanced over to Reyes when he had asked if he wasn't the only one and shook his head slightly. "No...Kanone decided to follow us, too..." he said dully as he nodded toward the only other wind dragon there. He sighed when she whined saying that she wasn't a plague and shook his head a little. "Well...he is," he said simply. He listened when Nero said that little girls should go home and shook his head a little. He couldn't argue...he felt the same way about having Kanone with them, he didn't want him here in harm's way or here annoying the hell out of him. He'd already turned his attention back to the canines by the time that Reyes had disappeared behind the trees, considering that he didn't have a whole lot to do with glasses had nothing to do with him and was of no interest. He backed up a little so that he could stand with Esen and Nobu again and nodded his head a little when they told him that they felt something else nearby. He glanced around almost anxiously, not fond of having something close by that he couldn't see or identify. Celestine had always found it easy to pick up on things that he couldn't see if it did have a presence, it didn't necessarily have to do specifically with the canines, but his ability to sense things picked up on more than just thoughts. For example, he could still feel the presence of the souls that had died in the village when he went through the cemetery, which was part of the reason that he had been so anxious around that area in Caledonia. He hasn't noticed the presence before, mostly because he hadn't been paying much attention to it, but now that he was aware that Nobu and Esen felt something, he was paying a bit more attention to the feel of the air around him. When Nobu had cut himself off and shook out his fur he suddenly found an icy shiver running along his own spine and couldn't help a shudder. He moved back a little closer to Nobu and Esen and placed one hand on Nobu's shoulder and the other on Esen's head since she seemed to be the most freaked out of the three of them. 'Yeah...I...think I felt it...' he responded quietly. He glanced over to Esen and reached over with his other hand to stroke her and try to calm her down as he knelt beside her. He could feel her shaking a little under his hand. "Hey..." he whispered softly, "It's alright..." He wasn't paying any mind to Nero and Reyes now, he had a bit more on his mind than their scrimmage over the sunglasses.
Esen was listening to Nobu as he explained to Celestine about the presence he felt. She was taken off guard when the ominous presence suddenly flared and practically cowered as her fur stood on end and her ears laid back a little. She whined softly until the presence had faded, but even then she didn't straighten up. She wasn't the bravest canine alive, anyone could probably tell that, and she didn't like the feel of that presence at all...not in the least. She glanced over to Celestine when he touched her head and absently inched a little closer to him until he started petting her. She couldn't help shaking a little, the ominous presence without an origin was unnerving enough. '...I know.... I just....wish I knew where it was coming from....' she whimpered softly after Celestine had said that it was alright.

Reyes glanced between the people that had been pointed out to him. He had seen them last night, not in great detail, but he'd still seen them. He hadn't thought to put the other wind dragon as Celestine's cousin, at least not until it had been pointed out to him. He made a mental note that the other wind dragon must have been named Kanone and then started to look over at the girl Nero had pointed out. He just kind of chuckled a little at what Nero had called the girl and then looked back at him. "So is she really a princess?" He asked curiously. He couldn't really see a person of that standing being in a group tasked with what they had been but you never really knew.
Nero eyed his cousin for a moment and then shook his head in response to the question that he had asked. "No." He paused. "She just doesn't like being called 'Princess'." He said with a slight shrug. He was at least trying to relax a bit. He knew that getting mad and yelling at Reyes wasn't going to solve anything and the poor kid was here already and sending him home to deal with Kana was a bad idea. He was just furious with the woman for putting Reyes in a dangerous position either way one looked at it. The kid could die from traveling with them or go home and be skinned by Kana and unfortunately Reyes hadn't really been exaggerating about that. He crossed his arms over his chest and let out a heavy sigh before looking back at his cousin. "This group is steadily getting bigger than it needs to be..." He muttered while shaking his head a little. If anything, Reyes could be easy to deal with, so long as he listened the first time he was told something.
Reyes cast his glance back towards the girl again momentarily after Nero had said she wasn't a princess. "That's probably better any way." He said as he looked back at Nero. "Royal's and your side of the family don't really mix." He commented with a slight grin. He finally pried his attention away from his cousin and glanced over to Celestine. He tilted his head a little seeing how the winged canine was practically cowering. "What's wrong with the canine? Poor thing looks like it's seen a ghost." He asked and then started to inch a little closer to them. The ominous presence wasn't anywhere near as strong as it had been moments ago but it would still be noticeable around Reyes since the canine producing it was hidden in the boys shadow.
Nobu wasn't so sure he was surprised that Celestine had been able to feel the presence as well that last time. It had been pretty strong and Celestine was pretty perceptive as it was. He, just like Esen wished that he knew where it was coming from and unfortunately since it couldn't be smelt or seen it was kind of difficult to pinpoint it. Not to mention the presence was inconsistent in strength. If it would stick to the strong for a few minutes he probably could've gotten himself around to finding it. Or at least closing in on it. He looked over to Esen a bit noticing that the presence had obviously scared her a good deal. He was a bit unnerved but not entirely frightened by it. 'We'll find it eventually... if it doesn't just go away all together, first.' He responded quietly and then glanced over to Reyes since she was coming a bit closer to them and asking about Esen. He started to pick up on the presence again though it was subtle compared to the other times. Of course he had gathered the only that had changed was that Reyes had moved closer to them but he didn't want to think that the presence was coming from Reyes. Considering her personality, or at least what he had seen of it so far he didn't really see her with the ominous murderous intent. The two just didn't seem to mesh but he guessed he could be wrong.

Celestine was still only half listening to Nero and Reyes, mostly just in case one of them spoke to him. He wasn't paying too much attention to what they were saying, though he did catch that Nero's side of the family and the royals didn't mix. That of course made him a little curious, but he didn't inquire about it. After all, he doubted the royals would mix well with any member of the dark clan here. He glanced over to Nobu, but continued to stroke Esen's back gently as he kept one hand to the front of her chest as if intent on keeping her from darting off. He sighed when he said that they'd find it if it didn't go away and then nodded his head weakly before he looked back to Reyes when she came closer to him. He blinked and then glanced back to Esen again, feeling her shudder again and lower herself closer to the ground as Reyes got closer. He could still feel a vague hint of the presence that he'd felt before, but it wasn't enough to be entirely noticeable, he just knew it was still there. "...There's something here...don't you feel it?" he asked quietly before he looked back to Esen again. He kept his hand on her back and then glanced around slightly, looking back through the trees. Even he was starting to look a little unnerved at not knowing what he was feeling. He didn't always realize how much more sensitive to these things he was as opposed to other dragons. Honestly, short of some of the canines, Nanashi was probably the only other one capable of picking up on the same things that Celestine did, though Celestine himself wasn't even aware of that. He thought the presence should have been obvious to any given one of them, yet Reyes and Nero didn't seem to notice it at all.
Esen nodded her head weakly in acknowledgment of what Nobu had said, though after eyes started to come closer, she again felt the presence grow a little stronger and whined softly as she practically laid down against Celestine's side. She laid her ears back and put her head on her paws. '...I think...it's coming form her around her...' she whimpered in a tiny voice, mostly to Nobu. It only made since since it seemed more apparent after Reyes had gotten closer to them. She didn't see Reyes as being ominous, but at the same time, she knew that dragons could act one way and have an entirely different personality on the outside. Not to mention, she wasn't as trusting as Nobu was when it came to people, so it wasn't beyond her to think it might be coming from Reyes.

Nero just shook his head lightly after Reyes had to go and point out that his side of the family and Royal's didn't mix. He knew that well enough without his mentioning it. He glanced over to Celestine and the canines briefly once Reyes had gone over and asked about Esen. He stayed where he was and listened to Celestine when he said that there was something here and asked if they could feel it. Well, that was probably more directed towards Reyes but he was listening in. He tilted his head slightly a little annoyed that he hadn't picked up on anything. Usually he was pretty good about noticing presences and people when they were following them. Being in this territory and now having to deal with Reyes really wasn't helping him at all. His ability to pick up on these things most likely wasn't as good as Celestine's or Nanashi's for that matter but he still, ordinarily, would've picked up on that strong surge of ominous presence had he not been so... not himself. As for right now he had no idea what Celestine was talking about since he didn't feel anything but at the same time he didn't doubt Celestine. If he said there was something then there may really be. The kid had no reason to lie about something like that.
Reyes tilted his head to side slightly when Celestine said that there was something here and asked if he felt it. He looked down at the winged canine and noted that she was a bit more frightened than she had been a moment ago. He lifted his eyes back to Celestine. "I dunno, what does it feel like?" He asked with an obvious curiosity. "Do you know where it's at? or what it is?" He added. He had a pretty good idea what they were feeling since his canine did have a tendency to give off his presence when he was hiding, not to mention he just liked to freak some people out every once in awhile. It would really freak people out, they could just be walking along and suddenly feel the heavy menacing presence and then it'd be gone and they'd have no idea where it came from. He didn't doubt his canine was enjoying every minute of this. He had only asked the questions merely to see just how perceptive they were and it was kind of fun to see if someone could guess right on the canine's location.
Nobu really didn't want to believe that a dragon like Reyes could possess such a presence but he guessed it wouldn't be that hard to believe since she was a dark dragon. He still didn't want to believe that though he was even more curious now since Esen had said that it felt like it was coming from around her. He had thought that as well but there wasn't anything around her, it was just her. '...Unfortunately ...I have to agree, Esen.' He said quietly. 'But the presence and the dragon just don't... mesh...' He added absently. She really didn't look like she'd just killing you from out of no where, Nero on the other hand... the presence would definitely suit him better than Reyes, in his opinion.

Celestine glanced over to Esen when she said that she thought the presence was coming from Reyes, and then to Nobu when he agreed. He did feel it just a little more strongly when Reyes drew closer, which made Esen's accusation seem pretty close to right. He turned his gaze back to Reyes for a moment and stared at her when she asked him what the presence felt like. That was enough to tell him that she didn't feel it...after all, she seemed a little too perky to be picking up on it. "...It...feels...dangerous," he said finally. Dangerous seemed a decent enough word...menacing, ominous, any of those words fit, but dangerous just seemed to sit better in his vocabulary. That alone was enough to trigger his fight or flight senses and make him edgy. He wanted to find whatever this was and drive it away from the others. He heard Kyiri growling from her hiding spot on his shoulder, and felt her claws digging into his flesh. He reached up with one hand and placed it on top of her head to silence her and then listened hard, trying to see if he could hear anything. He looked at Reyes and then slowly let his eyes travel over her, all the way to her feet. He didn't understand why the presence he felt would be coming from her, but at the same time, there was little explanation. He drew back just a little and then stood up. He stared down at the ground for a moment, his eyes briefly surveying the area where they all stood, and he finally noticed what seemed out of place. His, Nero, Esen, and Nobu's shadows all were roughly the same density, but Reyes, shadow was just a few shades darker than everyone else's. Without thinking he instinctively reached out and grasped her shoulders, pulling her closer to him quickly as if trying to yank her away from her own shadow. "It's under you," he said certainly, his eyes locked on the ground where her shadow was located. Well, perhaps that was more behind than under, but either way...he was looking at the right spot. He didn't know what it was, but he was almost certain that was where it was coming from. He had a feeling anyone and everyone would likely think he was completely nuts, but he was sure that he'd found the origin of the menacing presence, though he wasn't entirely sure what to do about it. How could a shadow be so dangerous and how could he get Reyes away from it if it was just following her?
Esen whined again softly when Nobu agreed with her, and then glanced up to Celestine when he started talking to Reyes. She didn't really know waht he meant by the presence was coming from under her, but either way that made her get up off the ground pretty quickly and practically glue herself to Nobu's side. She was still shaking slightly, and now she was staring at the area near Reyes's feet and then looking up to Celestine, trying to figure out what he saw there. Frankly...she didn't really notice anything, but then again, she hadn't taken time to compare everyone's shadows to Reye's.

Reyes nodded his head slightly in acknowledgment that he had heard Celestine say the presence felt dangerous. Of course his face was reading that he didn't understand but that was a complete lie. He knew better than everyone else what the presence felt like and where it was coming from. He continued to stand where he was without moving much at all while he watched Celestine look him over and then start surveying the area. He let out a quiet gasp when Celestine grasped his shoulders so suddenly and quickly yanked him closer. Of course he wasted little time taking the opening to practically cling to Celestine like he was a bit startled by his actions and frightened by his saying that there was something under him. He just couldn't let the chance go to waste. He stared down at the ground as best as he could and eyed his shadow. After a moment he finally just smiled softly. "...My shadow won't hurt you, silly." He said and then chuckled quietly. "Shen knows how to behave, I promise."
Nero kept to where he was standing just keeping an eye on Celestine and Reyes while he listened to what each of them was saying. He was of course curious to know what this thing was that Celestine was feeling and he didn't care too much for hearing him say that it felt dangerous. That just made him more angry with himself that he hadn't noticed it and still couldn't. He had a look of concern wash over his face when Celestine said that it was under Reyes. Of course he hadn't noticed anything, at least not until Celestine had pointed it out and yanked Reyes to him. Considering how close their shadows were at that point it wasn't that hard to notice. He wasn't really sure what to make of that, especially after the following comments that Reyes had made. He was suspicious now and wondered what the hell his cousin had gotten himself into. At the moment he was kind of overlooking the fact that Reyes had gone and clung himself to Celestine, he wasn't thinking it right this moment but he wasn't sure he was ready to put up with Reyes and his attractions...
Nobu just kind of eyed the ground intently after Celestine had said it was coming from under Reyes. He didn't see what he was talking about and he certainly didn't understand how a presence could come from under a person. All that was under her was her shadow and shadows didn't go emitting dangerous presences. Could a shadow even have a presence? He shook his head slightly and then glanced over to Esen since she'd gotten up off the ground and gotten so close to him. He felt a little bad for her since she was frightened enough to still be shaking. 'It'll be alright Esen.' He told her as he glanced over to her. Honestly, he figured it would be. Both Celestine and Nero were right here in the immediate area, so was he, and then the rest of the group was just behind them a bit. So it wasn't like they weren't well taken care of. He had to look back at Reyes a moment however once she had said that 'Shen' knew how to behave. Did this girl seriously name her shadows?

Celestine barely even noticed himself that Reyes had clung to him the way that she had when he pulled her to him, but that wasn't what concerned him at the moment. He kept his gaze fixed on the darkened shadow, at least until Reyes spoke. He looked up to her again, his eyes filled with quiet concern. After a moment, he looked just a tiny bit more suspicious. Most would be concerned by this, but Reyes seemed to already know what was going on. "...Shen?" he asked before he looked back down to her shadow again and then gently pried her off of him and put her back about an arm's length from him. Shen...something about that name just clicked with him. All of the canines thus far had four letter names: Nobu, Esen, Zale, Gesa...Shen could easily be the name of another canine if that was a general rule. Also, he knew that Gesa was capable of turning to dirt, her fur had done just that when he ripped out a hand full...why couldn't the blades of the dark clan have a guardian that could blend with the shadows? He looked back to Reyes again and turned his head slightly while looking at her. "...Shen...wouldn't happen to be an animal, would it?" he asked suspiciously. It made a bit of sense in his mind, but at the same time, he didn't see any blades on Reye's person. Even still, she could have easily left them at home and just brought the canine along...if he was even correct in his assumption. Celestine was fairly quick to put things together and could easily learn to pick up on patterns, just as he'd noticed that all of the canines thus far that he had met had four letter names. He knew nothing of limitations of the canines abilities, and if Reyes wasn't worried about the presence under her then she likely already knew what it was.
Esen whimpered again softly when Nobu said that it would be alright and just nodded her head weakly, though as soon as Celestine brought up the prospect of Shen being an animal, her ears perked up slightly and she looked up to him. '...You think she owns a pair of blades?' she asked quietly before glancing cautiously back down to her shadow again. She tilted her head a little and then looked over to Nobu as if wanting his opinion on the assumption. She knew that she could turn into a sort of mist...perhaps another could turn into a shadow?
