Kanone laughed softly as Aamori moved away from his hand and then shook his head a little. It still rather amused him that she wasn't used to it by now, but at lest she didn't go stealing his hair tie this time. He glanced back to the other girl again when she returned to him asking about why he was tailing Celestine or vice versa. He laughed softly and shook his head a little. "I'm the one doing the tailing," he said lightly, "But I just figured there was a good possibility he wouldn't come home once this trip was over, so I'm making sure he does. Not to mention I was just bored out of my mind..."
Celestine looked back to to Nobu again when he said that it was just a 'thank you' hug. '...a simple thank you would have sufficed...' he responded simply. He sighed and then leaned his head lightly against Nobus' again as he closed his eyes, still trying to recover from his newly acquired headache. His ears twitched when he heard Kanone responding to Reyes's question and he raised his head again, giving him a bit of a look. "I told you I'd come back!" he snapped at him, as if resentful that his word alone wasn't good enough. Honestly he did rather resent that, but there wasn't a lot he could do about it now. He just huffed and went back to leaning on Nobu again.
Esen yawned tiredly when Nobu said that she didn't need to be Aamori's pillow unless she asked and then made a motion as if shrugging her shoulders. She hadn't planned to ask Aamori if she wanted to lay on her...honestly she assumed if she was nearby she likely just would. She looked up to Celestine when he responded to Nobu and then shook her head a little and nuzzled again his leg gently. He sighed after he'd snapped at Kanone and then raised her head to lick his hand. 'Calm down... Kanone's just...being Kanone,' she said quietly.
Nanashi tilted his head a little when LaRae said that she hadn't seen the girl arrive and then nodded in agreement that she didn't appear hostile and was just holding casual conversation. He turned his gaze away from the girl again to look back to LaRae whens he asked if he had slept alright and then nodded slightly. "...Yes...and you?" he asked quietly, "...How are your ankles?"

Reyes waited patiently for a response from Kanone and smiled a bit once he had gotten one. To be honest, Kana probably would be afraid of the same thing, that Nero wouldn't come home, except for the fact that the most comfortable place to a dark dragon was their own territory and not just because there wasn't as much light there as other places. He nodded his head slightly, mostly acknowledging that he had heard him and understood. Kanone's reasons were certainly different than his own. He wouldn't say he was bored back home, but this was slightly more entertaining. He turned back slightly when he heard Celestine snap at Kanone like he did for what was said and couldn't help chuckling quietly. There must have been something that had gone on to cause a reaction like that. At the moment though he wasn't going to push for information. There was plenty of time to figure these things out and certainly more than one way to go about it. He smiled a bit over at Kanone. "Let me guess, you two have a love, hate relationship, don't you?" He was fairly certain quite a few families had people like that. Even he and Nero could be the same way sometimes, though it had been a little while since he had seen Nero. He had kind of hoped for a warmer welcome with a little less hate.
Nobu looked at Celestine for a moment after he had said that a simple thank you would have sufficed. '...Not everyone thinks like that.' He paused. 'Some people like to show their appreciation with more than just words and Reyes may be one of those people... don't let it get to you. You're still in one piece, it isn't like she's got the plague or anything.' He responded. He continued to stay where he was, keeping relatively still since Celestine had leaned against him. Though he laid his ears back slightly after Celestine had sat up again and then snapped at Kanone. He wasn't sure what the problem was but Celestine seemed a little more sensitive at the moment. He had thought the kid was in a better mood since they had made up last night but maybe that hadn't been all of what was bothering him.
Aamori had continued to stand where she was and listened quietly once Kanone had gone about answering the girls questions. Her ears absently laid back a little hearing Celestine snap at Kanone and then she shook her head lightly. Perhaps Kanone should just leave that part out from now on or only bring that up when Celestine isn't within ear shot. Since the girl was back here speaking to Kanone she thought now might be a decent enough time to interject a couple of her own questions rather than go and pester Nero. The girl at least seemed a bit more pleasant and easier to talk to. She stared over at the girl momentarily. "...So, do you have a name or do we just call you 'the new girl'?" She asked first. "Also, how long are you going to be with us?" She asked lastly. The second question really was the only one she was even concerned in but she figured a name might be better than referring to her as the new girl.
Reyes glanced over to the water dragon when he finally heard her address him. He was a little surprised that it had taken her so long, most people started talking to him right away, well, at least once they realized that he wasn't a threat. He couldn't say much about certain clans though because he hadn't met people from all of them and he really had no idea how the light dragon was going to react to him but if she was nice enough to get the pretty glasses for Nero than she must not hate their kind completely. He smiled slightly at her first question. "Oh! I guess you two didn't hear it..." He was a little embarrassed but that faded fast enough. "My name is Reyes." He said with a slight nod and then started to tackle the second question. "Hmm.. well, for as long as Nero is with you all, I suppose." He paused. "Kana told me not to come home without him so when he leaves, I'll leave." He responded with a broader smile and a slight swish of his tail.
LaRae smiled slightly after the short answer from Nanashi. She couldn't say she expected much more than that to begin with. She glanced back over at him since he had asked about her sleep in return. "I slept alright, miss the comfortable beds though..." She responded and then cast her eyes to her ankles since he had asked about them as well. They weren't swollen like they were last night though the bruising was still noticeable. She smiled weakly and continued to stare down at them. "They're better." She answered. That wasn't a lie, they did feel better for now. She just didn't want to go and say anything further because she didn't want to make him worry over her ankles already, especially since they hadn't even been up that long. "How's your midsection?" She finally thought to ask since that had still been bothering him some yesterday.

Kanone blinked when he heard Celestine snap at him and then laid his ears back a little before offering him a half smile. After a moment he just sighed heavily and shrugged lightly. "...Well, yeah...you said that," he said simply. He shook his head a little and then glanced back to the girl and laughed softly. "Yeah, more or less," he said lightly, "He's been like a little brother for years." He was fond enough of Celestine to consider him like a brother, though he couldn't say if the feeling was mutual. Celestine had always been like a little brother to him, but after his real brother had been killed, he did get a little more protective of Celestine. After all, he was the closest thing he had left, and considering that they were down to three in actual family members, he was rather reluctant to give Celestine a chance to get hurt. He'd already gathered how dangerous this mission could be so he wasn't about to go home. It seemed they could use the extra help at times. He glanced over to Aamori when she decided to ask the girl her name and how long she was staying. He laughed slightly and then shook his head. "Oh yeah..." he said as if he'd completely forgotten to ask...which he more or less had. "Reyes huh? Cute name..." He glanced back to Nero again and then laughed weakly when she had said that she'd be with them as long as Nero was. "Oh boy..this may get interesting." He could already see a bit of tension as far as Aamori was concerned, and he had a feeling Reyes wasn't likely to leave Celestine alone entirely.
Celestine sighed when Nobu said that not everyone thought the way he did and that Reyes just liked to show appreciation with more than just words. He wasn't really concerned that Reyes had hugged him, it was just really uncomfortable. Not to mention, Aamori was standing right there, so he really wasn't too keen on another girl hugging on him while the one he liked was watching...or at all considering that there was one that he liked. He just shook his head a little when Nobu said that he was still in one piece and that she didn't have the plague. '...That's not what I'm worried about....' He glanced back to Kanone again and then sighed softly and shook his head before nuzzling against Nobu, though he did smile weakly against his fur when Kanone said that he was like a brother to him. Of course he felt the same way about Kanone, which was why he really didn't want him coming on such a dangerous trip. '...He is so infuriating...' he thought, though his tone sounded more fond than irritated. He wasn't too thrilled to hear that Reyes was going to be with them for the extent of the trip however. Sure, she was nice, but she was also just one more person they were going to have to worry about when it came to combat.
Nanashi smiled weakly when LaRae said that she missed the beds and nodded a little. "...So do I..." he responded quietly. He nodded again in acknowledgment when she said that her ankles were better and then sighed softly. "I'm glad..." he said quietly. He shook his head a little when she asked about his midsection and then glanced down. "...I don't know...I don't want to look," he said with a weak laugh, "...likely still bruised." He glanced back over to the others when he heard Aamori questioning the new girl and then tilted his head a little. Well, it sounded like they had all better just get used to her being around, because it didn't sound like she was going anywhere.

Aamori listened quietly and waited for the girl to answer the questions that she had asked. She merely nodded her head slightly to acknowledge that she had heard the girls name. So it was 'Reyes', that was an interesting name and of course she thought no where near the same way Kanone did so she didn't find the name to be cute at all really. She continued to listen to Reyes as she finally answered the more important question and then sighed quietly once it had been answered. She couldn't believe that they were going to be stuck with this girl for any extended period of time. She didn't bother to really respond to the girl or anything, instead she just stood there keeping quiet for a moment.
Reyes nodded his head a bit after hearing Kanone answer his question and then continue on to say that Celestine had been like a little brother for years. He could understand that easily enough and he would have loved to have been able to say the same thing about Nero but they were more like good friends than brothers. He glanced over to the water dragon for a moment after he had told them what his name was and then looked over to Kanone as soon as he heard him say that it was a cute name. He smiled uncontrollably and his tail swayed a bit behind him. "You think so?" He paused very briefly. "Thank you!" He was glad someone thought his name was cute. He glanced back to the girl momentarily and couldn't help noticing that she didn't seem too thrilled about hearing how long he was going to be with them. He guessed not everyone could be happy about an addition to their group. Nero didn't even seem thrilled but giving him this space like he was, he was bound to get over it and just accept it. He didn't care too much what anyone else thought about his sticking with the group. The only one who would even be able to tell him to leave and get him to actually do it was Nero and he doubted Nero would let him go home to Kana empty handed. He looked back over to the girl and tilted his head slightly now that he was thinking about it, he didn't know her name either. "So, what's your name?" He paused. "Since I don't know it, either."
Aamori turned her eyes slightly to look over at Reyes when she heard the question and then looked away again. "It's Aamori." She answered rather shortly.
Nobu really didn't see what there was to be worried about like Celestine did. He continued to stay relatively still and let Celestine lean against him though he did turn his head to the side slightly to try and look at him better. '...What are you worried about then?' He asked a little curiously since he wasn't quite understanding.
LaRae took to rubbing her wrists gently and then looked over to Nanashi momentarily when he answered her question and said that he didn't know and didn't want to look. She nodded her head a little after he had said that it was likely still bruised. Well, she didn't really doubt that. "Did it hurt at all when you sat up?" She asked since he didn't want to look. She glanced away from him when she caught some of the other conversation and listened in to that at least long enough to catch the girls name and that she wasn't going to be leaving them any time soon.
Kyran slept quite a bit longer than he had intended since he had been up later than he would have liked. He probably could have easily slept even longer but he had known he needed to get up and not sleep the whole morning away. He stirred finally and cracked his eyes open slightly. He just laid where he was for now not bothering to move, at least not yet. He wasn't quite fully awake just yet so he didn't even take notice that there was an extra person in the group than there should have been.

Kanone laughed softly when Reyes thanked him for thinking her name was cute and then shook his head a little. "No problem," he said lightly. He glanced over to Aamori again when after Reyes had asked her what her name was and then shook his head a little after hearing the way that she answered her. He gave her a bit of a look and then shook his head before glancing back to Reyes again and smiling a bit. He just shrugged and then went back to leaning back against the tree where he had been sleeping, though he remained standing for now. He didn't really know what was with Aamori at the moment, but he hoped whatever it was she would get over it pretty soon.
Celestine sighed softly when he heard Nobu ask him what he was worried about. He closed his eyes and then pulled Nobu closer to him slightly. '...I'm worried Aamori might not like another girl being that...clingy,' he tried to explain. He glanced back to Nobu again after opening his eyes again. '...and really...I'm...not that comfortable with it either...' Of course that was mostly because he hardly knew the girl, but also it made him uncomfortable to think that it might upset Aamori.
Nanashi shook his head weakly when LaRae asked him if it had hurt to sit up at all. "...I wasn't paying much attention..." he said honestly. He knew he was still sore, so he was trying not to think of it as much as possible and hope that it didn't show that he was still hurting. He looked back to her after hearing about Reyes and then sighed softly. "...It sounds like we have a new party member..." he said quietly.
Hikari was still curled up next to Kyran with her arms wrapped around him, snuggled up as close to him as she could be. She was still worn out from her extra trip the night before. Not only had she been up late, she was also on the move the entire time. To top that off she was still recuperating a bit from using so much healing magic within the last week, though she was doing much better than she had been. It still may be a good while before she woke up, even with being in an uncomfortable position.

Reyes had of course picked up on the way that Aamori answered his question though he wasn't entirely sure what had brought that on. He didn't particularly care either since it hardly mattered. At least the girl had answered his question. He just smiled at her a little. "That's an interesting name." He commented and then turned his attention away from her completely and looked at Kanone. It didn't take very long for his eyes to travel up the tree and he spotted Kyiri. He did feel bad for the cat at least since she got caught in the mess with Zale as well. "...Shouldn't someone try and get her down?" He asked with a pause. "Maybe make sure she's alright?" He added. He was almost positive that the cat wasn't hurt since she hadn't been shoved too hard but that didn't mean the cat wasn't upset about it.
Aamori stared over at Reyes momentarily when she just smiled at her and said that she had an interesting name, then looked away completely. She pulled her eyes from the girl and sighed quietly before moving away. She really wasn't upset over the thing you'd think she was. She didn't mind so much that Reyes had hugged Celestine. All she had done was say thank you to him. She was just a little peeved that the girl got her scratch healed so easily by Celestine. As silly as it sounded that was what bothered her more though the hugs were bound to get to her if they continued frequently. She started away from Reyes and Kanone and proceeded over towards where Zale had gone. Right about now she didn't entirely want to lay into Zale about what he had done. She was sure he got the impression he shouldn't have done that. Once she had reached him she sat down beside him with her back like his, turned to everyone else. She sighed quietly and reached over to set her hand down on top of his head gently before stroking his fur a little. This really wasn't that big a deal and she knew it shouldn't be getting to her like it was but she was having trouble shaking it.
Nobu listened quietly to Celestine once he had started explaining what he had been worried about. He hadn't really thought of it like that but he guessed that could be something to be worried about. 'If you're worried about that does that mean you two are together now?' He asked curiously. He hadn't really asked Celestine about that recently but considering the two of them had spent some time together, alone, that one night he was curious to know. Esen had left the room that night and joined him in the other so she wasn't really there to eavesdrop on the two of them either, she might even be curious if she hadn't already been told something.
LaRae looked back to Nanashi when he answered her question and then nodded her head weakly. She had kind of hoped that he had been paying attention, at least then she would have some idea of how much his midsection was bothering him. As it was now she really had no idea though she did assume it was still sore to some extent. She cast her glance back towards Reyes momentarily and then looked back at Nanashi and nodded her head again. "...Yeah..." She wasn't sure she liked the sound of that. It might have been better if the small girl hadn't been from the dark clan. This was one hell of a place for another dark dragon to join them. She shook her head slightly. "...I bet Hikari is going to be thrilled with that news..." She uttered quietly.
Kyran had fallen asleep with his arm around Hikari last night and his arm was still there. He didn't bother moving it though he did lift his other to rub his eyes slightly and then stifle a yawn. He was still a bit tired but considering the sun was already up he didn't think it would be wise to go back to sleep. He was likely to stay asleep for a good while longer if that happened. Since he was still a bit tired it was taking him a little longer to wake himself up completely.

Kanone glanced up into the tree after Reyes had made the comment about someone getting her down from the tree and then laughed slightly. "If you want to lose an arm, be my guest. She'll come down eventually. I'd say the only one that will get her out of that tree anytime soon is Celestine." He turned his gaze over to Aamori for a moment when she went over to sit by Zale and then tilted his head a little before he sighed and looked around, noticing that everyone but Hikari was already awake. "Hmm...well looks like we'll get moving pretty soon...as soon as sleeping beauty over there wakes up." He half wondered if Kyran had even noticed Reyes yet, but he certainly didn't seem to be registering her if he had.
Celestine blushed slightly when Nobu asked if that meant that he and Aamori were together now. '...I don't know...I...didn't ask...' he thought as he glanced away, '...She's...she knows...now....I guess...' He sighed softly and then glanced down to Esen, who had looked up in apparent interest at this new development. He smiled weakly and placed a hand on top of her head, gently rubbing her between the ears. '...Nothing is official...if that's what you mean...' He heard Reyes's comment about getting Kyiri out of the tree and then sighed. "She's alright...she will probably scratch you again if you try to get her down right now," he told her since he really didn't want to bother with that, though after being warned if she did it anyway and got scratched he wasn't going to heal it again. He only healed it last time because Kyiri had gotten carried away and smacked her for something Zale had caused.
Nanashi almost smiled when LaRae said that she bet Hikari was going to be thrilled with that news. "...Maybe..." he said quietly, "...but...somehow...I doubt she will mind too much... It's the rest of her clan that would likely have a problem...." He glanced over to Hikari momentarily and then back to LaRae, "...I mean...she seems to like Nero well enough..." Hikari didn't strike him as having much of a problem with anyone that didn't give her too much grief, so he doubted that she would care what clan Reyes was from so long as she didn't cause her too many problems.

Reyes stared up at Kyiri once Kanone had answered his question and said that the only person that would be able to get her out of that tree anytime soon was Celestine. He wished that the cat wouldn't scratch him again but he wasn't putting it past her if he did try to get her down especially after even Celestine had made it clear that she would probably scratch again. She sighed quietly and glanced to Kanone briefly before looking for who he meant as sleeping beauty. Of course he spotted that only one person was still asleep and smiled slightly. "Nero called her Princess Sparkly." He said with a slightly amused look on his face. He could be like Nero sometimes and he would likely get a kick out of calling that light clan dragon that if it did get under her skin. "So where were you all headed?" He asked a bit curiously after looking back to Kanone.
Nobu couldn't help but tilt his head slightly after listening to Celestine. He was a little surprised that nothing was official yet. To his understanding Celestine had at least confessed to her and he was almost positive that Aamori shared some feelings for him as well so he was curious as to why it just ended there. With Hikari and Kyran after the confession it seemed they were more an item than not and then the same with LaRae and Nanashi, though he couldn't be certain there was really a confession between those two because he hadn't heard about one or seen one but it was pretty obvious that those may as well be a couple. 'Why didn't you ask?' He inquired curiously. He had never really been Celestine's position so he didn't quite understand all of what he was dealing with and all he had to go on really was what he had observed from other couples so of course he had kind of assumed the two of them would have made something official. He was honestly a little surprised that they hadn't.
LaRae stared over at Nanashi for a moment and then shook her head lightly. "Of course she won't have a problem with the girl." She started. "I had more meant her not liking having to deal with having two dark clan dragons to keep an eye on." She paused. "Not that I think they'd do anything... really... but like you said, the rest of her clan would likely have a problem." She was well enough aware of the dislike between the light and dark clans. That was probably the most evident opposing clan pairing or at least it certainly stuck out the most. Kind of like the fire and water, they seemed polar opposites just like the light and dark though, thankfully, the water dragons didn't seem to mess with Nanashi that much. She looked at Nanashi again, as if something had hit her out of the blue. "You know... I never really thought too much about it until now... but how do you think those two are going to ...um... affect Hikari?" She paused. "You know... since she's... well... you know." She was fairly certain that Nanashi would get the hint that she was referring to Hikari's royal standing. She was curious to know how her parading around in her territory with two dark clan dragons was going to look especially once people realized they were under her care. That had to be like... harboring a fugitive or something or at least that was kind of the way she thought it might look to some people.

Kanone blinked when Reyes said that Nero called Hikari 'princess sparkly' and then couldn't help but laugh slightly. "Haha that's a good one," he said lightly, and then shook his head a little, "Of course she may throw something at you if you call her that." He thought it was a pretty funny name at any rate. He tilted his head slightly when Reyes asked him where they were headed and then shrugged. "To be perfectly honesty, I have no idea. I think the only one who knows is still drooling on her pillow," he said simply. He half smiled and then just crossed his arms behind his head and cast a glanced back to Nero again, seeing that he still didn't look too thrilled at the moment. He just yawned again and tried to stretch out a little before glancing back to Reyes.
Celestine blushed a little more and tried to hide his face against Nobu's fur so no one else could see how red his face was getting. He sighed quietly and stroked Nobu's head gently and then closed his eyes. '...I...couldn't...' he answered quietly when Nobu asked why he hadn't asked her, '...I just...didn't know...how to ask... and...besides....I...I don't know how well that would go over....' He shook his head very slightly. '...She...I...I don't know if I'm ready for something like that...and I don't know if she is either.... besides...her brother would have beaten me half to death if he'd found out...' He found it a bit strange that Nobu and Esen seemed more interested in what was going on between him and Aamori than anyone. Even Kanone hadn't bothered interrogating him this much. He didn't really know how to explain this to them, really.
Nanashi tilted his head a little when LaRae said that Hikari might not like having two dark clan dragons to look after. "...I think they would both know better than to cause trouble..." he said quietly, "...and well...I think..as long as they're with us they'll be alright....right?" That was what he'd been told at any rate, he would think that would apply for everyone else as well. He tilted his head a little when she brought up that having two dark clan dragons with them might affect Hikari in some way, and it didn't take him more than a second to see what she meant. "...I don't know...maybe the same way it looked when Aamori had me there..." he said simply. Honestly, he couldn't say. All he knew about this place was that he light and dark dragons fought tooth and nail, and as far as he knew so did the water and fire clans, but even the elder had been kind to him there and he only had one bad encounter, so he didn't really know what to expect from these people toward Nero and Reyes. "...Hopefully...no one will cause much trouble over it..."

Reyes cast his glance back over towards the light dragon after hearing Kanone say that she may throw something at him if he called her that. He smiled slightly. "I think I'll keep that in mind, though I can't say the same for my cousin. I think you could hit him with a brick and he'd still go out of his way to continue annoying her like that." He said with a slight nod. He stared up at Kanone as he answered the question he had asked and then nodded his head very lightly. "Oh, alright." He said and then chuckled lightly at the drooling on her pillow part. "So where all have you guys been already?" He asked a little curiously, mostly to keep some form of conversation going so that he wasn't bored.
Nero still wasn't very happy about Reyes being here but he was starting to calm down considerably and mellow back out. He was considerably more relaxed at least in one sense now that his eyes were well protected. He had been watching Reyes rather closely and finally shifted, dropping his arms down to his sides before stepping over to where he was talking to Kanone. "Radha, Caledonia and Kairava, of course." He answered in a less than enthused tone since he had heard his cousins question. He stared down at Reyes for a moment and then shook his head slightly. "...You're going to behave yourself while you're with us." He said in a rather stern voice. He wasn't happy Reyes was here and if they were stuck with him he wanted to make sure the kid knew to behave and not get into trouble.
Nobu didn't mind one bit that Celestine was hiding his face against him. He wasn't entirely sure why Celestine was doing that, other than maybe he was embarrassed or something, either way it didn't really matter. He listened while Celestine answered his question. He was quiet for a moment before responding. '...It doesn't seem like it's to hard to ask.' He paused slightly. 'If you don't know how to ask maybe you could ask someone how? Like Kyran or Nanashi since they're kind of in relationships.' He had no experience whatsoever in this department so he couldn't really help Celestine out. '......You were afraid of her brother finding out? I don't think Aamori would have let him near you, I mean if she shares the same feelings as you, she wouldn't want to see her brother hurt you.'
LaRae kept quiet while Nanashi responded and then glanced back over at him once he had finished. "If they're with us, I think they may be alright." She agreed quietly. There were quite a few of them now she wasn't sure someone would have the guts to come up and mess with either Reyes or Nero if the whole group was together. "...I think it was a little different with you and Aamori in Kairava..." She admitted quietly. "You don't pose quite as much as a threat as Nero or Reyes might. Those two are both full dark dragons in light territory and they can be seen as a bit more a threat than you did in Kairava." She said quietly. She didn't care too much for pointing stuff like this out, she didn't really like saying out loud that things were different because Nanashi was a half breed. She sighed quietly and looked away, feeling a little bad for mentioning it. "...I hope there won't be any trouble over it, either." She said lastly.
Kyran hadn't taken a whole lot of notice to anything going on around him, at least not right away. He had managed to wake himself up completely though he had shifted almost all of his attention to Hikari who was still asleep on him. He tightened the one arm around her slightly and smiled a bit as he stared down at her. There probably weren't going to be many chances to sleep like this again for a while after today, that is if they neared any town so he really wasn't looking forward to having to wake her but he did know that the others were awake and she would need to be getting up here pretty soon. He had finally noticed the new arrival but he hadn't said anything. She seemed to be just conversing with Kanone and didn't appear to be a threat so he wasn't too worried at the moment though he was curious as to who the girl was and why she was here. He continued to stare down at Hikari for a moment or two longer before he finally leaned his head down and kissed her head lightly. He was going to miss being able to be affectionate towards her as well so he figured he'd need to get that out of his system pretty quickly.

Kanone half smiled when Reyes had said that someone could hit Nero with a brick and he would keep pestering Hikari. He snickered slightly and then shook his head a little. "I wouldn't doubt it," he said lightly, "But I think Hikari's gotten pretty used to him." He had just opened his mouth to answer Reyes's question about where all they had been when Nero approached and answered before he could even gets the words out. "Um...yeah, there," he said with a weak smile before he glanced over to Nero. He titled his head a little when Nero told Reyes that she was going to behave. "Lighten up, what's she gonna do, cutesy everyone to death?" he asked lightly. He chuckled softly and then shook his head a little.
Celestine sighed softly as he pressed his face a litlte more firmly against Nobu's fur. '...I can't...ask someone how to ask her... I...I just...' He shook his head weakly, '...never mind, Nobu... It's...complicated...I don't know how to explain... It's not just her brother it's...I mean...what would we do if she did share any feelings? She's the future elder for the water clan and I'm...just a commoner...from the wind clan no less... Her clan wouldn't like it...and we live in completely different areas... she can't leave Kairava...I would have to leave Caledonia to be with her....and...I don't know...I've never lived anywhere else... And....besides...I think she probably deserves better than me....' After all, he wasn't really anything that special in his opinion. He was a scary, slightly undereducated boy who looked so much like a girl it was rather pitiful, and on top of that his social skills were completely lacking and he didn't know a thing about politics or any of the things that she had to put up with or what he would have to be in order to be with her. It was all rather hard to think about. He was only sixteen, he didn't know the first thing about romance.
Nanashi nodded a little when LaRae said that she thought the may be alright and then sighed softly when she mentioned the difference between himself and Nero and Reyes. He wasn't too surprised to hear her say something along those lines, though he still wondered how it looked for a water dragon elder in training to be around a halfbreed in general, let alone one from an opposing clan. He had caught sight of the way Hisako looked at him when he'd hugged Aamori for getting him his new coat and she hadn't looked too pleased about it. He didn't really know if his being a halfbreed was worse or not really. He may not have posed as much of a threat, but he was also worth less than the dust under anyone's shoe in most people's opinion, so he couldn't really say. He nodded again in agreement when she said that she hoped there wouldn't be any trouble over it. "...Me too," he said quietly. Even if Nero would likely hurt him given half the chance, he didn't want anything happening to him especially if the reasoning was no better than his scales were black and his powers shadow based.
Hikari was still really tired, but once Kyran started moving a bit and squeezed her, she started to wake up a little. She cracked her eyes opened after Kyran had kissed her head and then turned her head slightly and looked up at him tiredly. She felt like she had only just fallen asleep five minutes ago. "...Hmm?" she muttered quietly before she yawned and raised her head up a little. She blinked groggily a few times and then pulled one hand back to rub her eyes before she leaned her head back against Kyran again. She was by no means ready to wake up yet, and she had already started to yawn a second time. "....Five more minutes..." she muttered quietly as she nuzzled against him again.

Reyes was a little surprised to hear that any light dragon could get used to Nero. That just didn't seem possible, but then again stranger things have happened. He just barely noted that Nero had come up to them and didn't pay any attention to him until after he had answered the question that had been posed at Kanone. He nodded a little after hearing the names. He had assumed those were the places already since they were in Glenys now but he wanted to be sure. If he was lucky there was only Glenys and Medini to put up with before Shyama. Once they were there maybe Kana let him not travel any further. It was bad enough he had to be in Glenys. It was just too bright here. He shifted a little and then stared up at Nero with little puppy eyes after being told he was going to behave. "...Of course I will." He responded quietly.
Nero glanced over to Kanone briefly when he said for him to lighten up. Kanone just had no clue about Reyes, none at all. He turned his eyes down to his cousin and stared almost blankly at the look he was getting. With the shades on it was most likely difficult to tell but he was completely rolling his eyes at that look. He lifted his hand up pushed against Reyes face lightly. "Stop that." He told him and then started to pull his hand back. His hand had easily covered a good portion of Reyes' face considering their size differences. "You're using that face on the wrong person and you know it." He said almost coldly. "...I can't believe Kana sent you..." He muttered quietly. He stood there for a moment and then glanced back to Kanone. "...Don't let Reyes fool you. The kids a lot smarter than you'd think." He said quietly. "Aside from the cuteness..." He said and rolled his eyes again. "...There's another one of those dogs ...apparently it's Reyes'." He said sounding less then enthusiastic. Reyes could be handful and he knew that well enough so he wasn't happy that there was another dog on top his... interesting... cousin.
Nobu continued to stay silent while he listened to Celestine and then shook his head a little once he was finished. The whole thing didn't seem like it should be this difficult, or at least not as difficult as Celestine was making it sound. Of course he didn't see why Celestine couldn't ask for someones advice. It was natural to ask for help when you didn't know what to do, but then again, this really was a subject he had no experience on. When it came to animals and stuff like this... well... it wasn't anywhere near as complicated. He wasn't going to continue to drag this out since he really didn't know how to help and on top of that Celestine had said it was complicated so he assumed that meant that Celestine really wasn't sure how to go about explaining everything. He shook his head again lightly. '...I think you're thinking too much on everything...' He commented and then went silent again. Kyran and Hikari seemed to be in roughly, very roughly the same type of situation as Celestine and Aamori but the other two seemed to at least be trying to be a couple while they could.
Kyran stared down at Hikari when he noticed that she was starting to stir a little. He just watched her quietly and then shook his head lightly with a smile stuck on his face after she had asked for five more minutes. He didn't bother trying to wake her completely, at least not yet. He was nice enough to try and let her have the five extra minutes she had asked for and that meant five more minutes that he could stay where he was and hold her so he really didn't mind. He would have loved to let her sleep longer but he didn't think it would be wise, especially with everyone else awake already. Besides, if they really needed to they could call tonight an early night if she was really that tired later. He let her have the five minutes that she asked for, maybe a little longer, he couldn't really tell. He smiled a little and finally cast his eyes back down to her for a moment. He lifted his free hand and gently reached over to her chin to lift her head a little before leaning the rest of the way to press his lips against hers. He pulled away a couple seconds later with a smile on his face and uttered quietly. "It's time to wake up."

Kanone laughed softly at Reye's puppy-dog expression and then shook his head. She really was a cutie. Not exactly his type, but cute nonetheless. He shook his head a little when he heard Nero's response. Apparently he was immune to that one. "Awww how can you resist that face?" he said playfully. He blinked when he told him not to let Reyes fool him, and then laughed softly, "Aww you think we cute, cuddly people don't look smart," he asked in the same playful tone. He could tell that Nero was rolling his eyes from his tone of voice and smiled weakly. He looked a little more interested when he mentioned another dog and then blinked. "Really?" He asked and then looked at Reyes. "Where?" He glanced around a bit, looking for canine that didn't look familiar. After all, Kanone was a dog person, so he was interested to see Reyes's canine.
Celestine sighed softly when Nobu said that he thought that he was thinking too much about this. "...Maybe..." he responded quietly and then just sighed and nuzzled his head against his fur again before he raised his head up a little and smiled weakly before running his fingers through his fur. He leaned his head back against Nobu's again lightly and just sighed softly before closing his eyes again. He was still a little tired, given enough time he just might fall back asleep, but right now he was just trying to rest his eyes.
Hikari groaned softly in protest when she felt her head being moved and then cracked her eyes open when she felt someone kissing her. She blinked a few times and stared up at Kyran, for a moment before she smiled weakly and then sighed heavily. "...Great...now when can I go back to bed?" she asked tiredly as she raised a hand to rub her eyes. She finally sat up and yawned before stretching out a little and actually popped her neck when she moved. She made a bit of a face at the sound and then glanced around slowly. She passed right over Nero, Kanone, and the other girl at first and then looked back again and froze. Her eyes widened a little and she sat up straighter, staring at the other dark figure. It took her a second to realize what she was seeing, thought she looked more surprised than startled. She looked back to Kyran and then back over to the girl quizzically before turning her eyes back to him again.

Reyes shied away from Nero's hand a little after he had pushed his face away a little. He gave in a little to temptation and stuck his tongue out at Nero before lifting his hands to rub his cheeks gently. "She sent me because no one else could go." He repeated since Nero had said that he couldn't believe Kana had sent him. He sighed quietly and then shook his head a little. "You need to get over me being here faster then this..." He said and poked at Nero's arm a couple times. He glanced over to Kanone after he started to show some interest in the other canine. He couldn't help but smile broadly. Shen was something to be proud of and he certainly was happy to call Shen his. "Yep! I got one, though he about scared the others half to death." He said with a quiet chuckle. He glanced down at his shadow a little once Kanone had asked where. He didn't think that Shen would want to come out again so soon just to meet Kanone so he didn't bother to ask him to show himself again. He smiled a little weakly. "His name is Shen..." He started. "He's not... really a big people person, at least not right away and he's already been out once today to meet Celestine, Esen, Nobu and Nero... so I don't think he'll come out again right now." He sighed quietly and then pointed to his shadow, kind of hoping that Kanone might be as observant as Celestine. "He likes to conceal himself in the shadows." He added just in case Kanone didn't get it just by his pointing down.
Nero shook his head lightly after hearing Kanone. "I can resist that face because I've grown up with it and known what I'm really looking at." He commented quietly. He couldn't help but shake his head again at his following question and decided not to even bother giving that an answer. He turned his attention back to Reyes briefly when he repeated what he had said earlier and then sighed very quietly. He knew why Reyes had been the one to be sent, that didn't take a whole lot of thought to figure out he just wished it hadn't been Reyes. He stared over at his cousin once he had started poking him in the arm and telling him he needed to get over this faster. He was getting over it, a little here and there. He just didn't want to accept that his own fiance had sent his cousin into something like this, especially when there was a chance the kid could wind up dead. He shifted a little and then stared over at Kanone for a moment once he had started showing interest in the other canine. Somehow that wasn't the least bit surprising.
Kyran sighed very softly and his smile died down a bit after hearing the first thing that Hikari said after being told it was time to wake up. "...Good morning to you too..." He muttered quietly. He shook his head a little. "Later." He answered even though he was fairly certain she knew well enough when she could go back to bed. So much for a pleasant wake up, she seemed just down right grumpy. He sat up a bit better and stretched a little once she had sat herself up and started looking around. He stretched his arms up over his head a little and then looked over at her, seeing her looking at him and then back at the new girl and then back at him. He shrugged a little and brought his arms to rest at his sides and his hands in his lap. "She was there when I woke up." He started. "She doesn't seem to be causing any trouble and since you were still asleep I didn't bother trying to wake you so I could investigate." He hadn't wanted to move a bone in his body and only would have bothered if the girl had been causing a problem. Since she wasn't, he didn't bother moving.

Kanone grinned a little when Nero put his hand on Reye's face and told him why he could resist that face. "Hahaha, well, that sounds a little familiar," he said simply as he glanced over to Celestine. Celestine definitely had ways of getting his way with those girly looks of his, though he didn't think he was ever giving those sad eyes purposefully. Even still, they were hard to resist, even for him. However anymore, the kid usually just got pissed off rather than sad looking, so the effect wasn't nearly as cute. He turned his attention back to Reyes when she mentioned her canine nearly scaring the others half to death and then tilted his head a little. He didn't see why any of them would be scared of another canine, they all knew about them after all. He looked down at Reyes's shadow when she pointed to it and raised an eyebrow. "...Umm?" he started, clearly not being quite as perceptive as Celestine was, but then he blinked when she said that he liked to hide in shadows. "Huh? That's...interesting..." he muttered quietly. "...So...Shen, huh? Well, since he's being antisocial, what's he look like?" he asked with a smile.
Hikari sighed softly when Kyran muttered good morning to you too. "...Yeah, yeah....good morning," she said tiredly. She didn't see why he had to seem almost disappointed that she didn't say good morning as soon as she woke up. She usually said it, but at current she wasn't having a very good morning. She was still dog tired and did not want to get up yet, though she was well aware that she had to. She had merely been joking, or trying, but perhaps her tone hadn't been funny enough...that or she wasn't the only one lacking a sense of humor in the morning. She looked back to Kyran again when he mentioned the girl being there when he woke up and then laid her ears back a little, looking a bit perplexed. "...Well...I'm glad the isn't causing trouble but..." she glanced back to the girl again and bit her lower lip anxiously. "...This may be a problem..." she muttered quietly as she started to stand up and dust off her skirt, only now realizing as she stood that she'd forgotten to take off her boots last night before she passed out. She shook her head a little and ran a hand over her hair and then glanced around again. She almost felt strange standing up since half the group didn't seem to care enough about the new arrival to stand up. She was only really worried about one thing...and that was what was going to happen to the girl once they hit civilization since she had no official business in being here, she was almost certain. Their guards could be strict when it came to dark dragons invading their territory and she doubted her being a tiny girl would make a bit of difference. After all...her father absolutely despised the dark clan and though she was of age now and held almost equal authority as her father over the guards, he could still overrule her if he found out...which if she wound up snagged into going to the castle and staying it was inevitable. Her father had already issued the order that any dark dragon found in this territory without the permission of the royals or the elders was to be imprisoned until further notice. Honestly, after imprisonment she didn't really know what happened to the dark dragons...though she sincerely hoped they were merely escorted back to their territory. Her clan was different from the water clan in many ways when it came to the politics... The elders did have final say when it came to executions, going to war, and invading enemy territory, which they almost never agreed to any of the three to her knowledge, but the royals had equal say in imprisonment and release, or at least the royals of age. Considering that they were all family, it was a rather tight knit grouping. The royals were more figure heads, but were also reverend almost as much as Aamori was to her people since any one of them could likely become an elder in due time, so they also had a lot of say over many things that had to do with the territory. She just hoped that she could manage keeping this girl out of trouble...

Reyes smiled slightly once it looked like Kanone wasn't catching on as quickly as Celestine and then nodded after he finally got it. "He is of the dark clan, so of course it's shadows." He said with a bit of a broader smile. He only had to think about it for a moment before he started to answer Kanone's question of what Shen looked like. "Shen's big, he's bigger than Nobu." He started. "He's black of course, pitch black and his fur... well, I guess you might be able to call it a little unruly?" He paused. "Oh and he's got six tails too." He said with a slight nod. "He'll come out again eventually." He was sure of it. He'd just have to hunt down Kanone next time Shen was out if they didn't happen to be near one another. He was really kind of happy to know that Kanone was interested in seeing Shen. He liked Shen a lot so he was always proud to be able to show him off the only downside to that was Shen didn't always care to be shown off.
Nero sighed quietly and glanced between both Kanone and Reyes momentarily before shaking his head a little. He of course didn't see what the big deal was about the canine to him it was just going to lead to more trouble than it was worth. He continued to stand there while Reyes went about answering Kanone's question. He happened to notice when Hikari started to get to her feet. He probably wouldn't have even noticed that she was awake if not for the fact that she had stood up. He was thinking that she was probably very curious about the extra dark dragon. Even more so now than before he was really wishing that he could just turn Reyes away but he knew that wasn't going to be easy, especially with Kana being the other choice. He sighed quietly and half thought about going over there to talk to her about Reyes but just didn't manage to get himself heading in that direction.
Kyran continued to sit there quietly while she said good morning and then started to mention that this may be a problem. He watched her get to her feet and then looked over at the dark girl for a moment. He didn't move right away but he did finally start to get to his feet and dust himself off a little. "...Can it really be a problem?" He paused. "I mean any more than a problem with Nero being here?" He asked. He didn't really think too much about it other than the fact that there were now two instead of one. "...Well..." He sighed quietly. "I guess we should go and see who she is and why she's here." He said with a slight nod before making sure that he had all of his things gathered. He wasn't sure when they were leaving but with the new girl being here he didn't really want to leave his blades or anything laying out. He just couldn't say how much he could trust her.

Kanone half smiled when Reyes explained that Shen could do those things because of the canine being from the dark clan. He could have really gathered that for himself, but he didn't say anything. He titled his head a little curiously when she told him what Shen looked like and blinked when he heard that he was actually bigger than Nobu. "Wow, really? Nobu's like a frickin' pony." he commented absently. It was hard to imagine one of these canines having six tails; five seemed almost ridiculous on Esen. He glanced over when he noticed Hikari moving and half smiled at her before he looked away again and turned his gaze back toward Aamori briefly to see if she was still sitting with Zale.
Hikari glanced back to Kyran when he stood and asked if it could really be a problem and then nodded slightly. "...It could...but that depends..." she said softly. She nodded in agreement when Kyran said that they should go see who she was, or more importantly why she was here. She continued to stand there for a moment, absently noting that Nero was wearing a pair of glasses that wasn't the ones that she had brought him. Finally she started to move over in that direction, though she moved off a little to the side closer to where Nero was. She glanced over to the girl and offered her a friendly smile before glancing back to Nero and tilted her head a little, looking at him almost like one would expect a parent to look at a child that they were rather patiently waiting for an explanation from. As usual the light glinted off of her skin and her hair wherever it managed to filter through the trees and touch her. She hoped that didn't really hurt the girl's eyes...mostly because she has a suspicion that Nero had snagged her glasses since he'd told her that he didn't have his and now clearly had some.

Reyes laughed very quietly and then smiled after Kanone commented that Nobu was like a frickin' pony. "Yes, Shen is definitely larger." He said with a nod. His attention did finally shift a bit once the light dragon started to come over to stand hear Nero. He started to look at her but paused before he focused on her too much. He took a brief moment to slip the glasses that he had on gotten from the swap with Nero so that he could better protect his eyes. He for once didn't bother to jump right in and start yapping since it looked like the girl had wanted Nero to answer whatever questions she had.
Nero cast his glance down to Hikari when she finally headed over towards him and just stared down at her for a few moments before sighing quietly. He knew she wanted an explanation. "...Thanks, for the glasses." He said very quietly before looking back over at his cousin. "...and this ...is my cousin, Reyes." He told her and then shook his head lightly. "...She ...was asked to find me and keep an eye on me." He said without any enthusiasm. "Reyes just showed up this morning... or... well... she was with me when I woke up." He said with another sigh. "I've already asked her to leave, or well, inquired about her leaving." He started, thinking Hikari would bring that up in no time at all. "...There stands a pretty good chance that ...well ...Kana will skin her alive ...if I don't return when she returns." He said quietly with an even heavier sigh. He really hated to admit that but it was the truth and the only really good reason that he wasn't pushing to send Reyes back to Shyama.
Kyran followed Hikari over when she went over towards Nero. He just stood off to the side a little so that he knew he'd be able to hear when it came to finding out about this girl. He listened quietly once Nero got around to explaining about the girl. He couldn't help being a little curious about this Kana person but he didn't bother asking any questions. If Nero wanted to go into further detail than he would. Now that he was closer and was able to get a better look at the girl he smiled very slightly. She was small and frankly, she looked a little harmless. The fact that she was related to Nero was probably a good thing. At least Nero would have some authority when it came to the girl unlike if they were completely unrelated.
Aamori was still sitting beside Zale. She hadn't bothered to move and she was just sitting there with her hand resting on top of Zale's head. She had relaxed a bit and wasn't even that upset with Zale any more. She was pretty much ready to go, or at least ready to do something else. She was quite tired of sitting and doing nothing. She was at least glad to have seen that Hikari and Kyran were up now. That at least meant that they would likely be leaving sooner or later.

Hikari glanced to the girl when she noticed her slipping out some glasses and putting them on and immediately recognized them as the ones that she had brought for Nero. She smiled slightly and then chuckled softly when Nero thanked her for the glasses. "You're welcome," she said lightly. She didn't mind that he had swapped with his cousin at all, she couldn't really blame him for it, and the girl would probably like them a lot more than he would. She glanced back to Reyes for a moment after getting her name and then nodded a little. So...Nero had a cousin...a pretty cute one at that. Even Hikari had to admit the girl was adorable. She turned her full attention back to Nero again, her smile diminished considerably when he started to explain why she was here and it slowly faded as he went on to explain why she couldn't go home...easily. She crossed her arms and then sighed heavily before glancing to Reyes again. "Well...we can't have that, now, can we...?" she said quietly before she offered Reyes a slight smile. "It's nice to meet you, Reyes," she said politely. She looked at Reyes for a moment and then turned her attention back to Nero, looking a little worried. She glanced back to Reyes again and then took a breath as if about to speak but only bit her lip lightly. Finally she sighed and her shoulders slumped a little. "...You realize this may cause a bit of trouble..." she said softly as she looked at Reyes and then back to Nero. "...After the last raid it was determined that any member of the dark clan found int he territory without just cause was to be imprisoned until further notice..."
Kanone blinked upon hearing that and stared at Hikari. "Seriously? She's just a tiny little girl," he said as if the idea of imprisoning her was ridiculous, "I mean does she looks dangerous?"
Hiakri looked over to Kanone patiently and sighed, "Celestine looks just as harmless," she pointed out calmly, "You can't judge things like that by appearance alone."
"...Touchè...." he muttered with a heavy sigh.
Hikari half smiled and then shook her head a little, her smile already gone by the time that she'd finished. "...Strictly speaking...the pass that allows you into this territory," she said, looking at Nero, "applies only to you...it only applies to the seven of us. It will not apply to Reyes nor to Kanone should it be needed..."

Nero stood keeping pretty silent at least until Hikari had said that this may cause a bit of trouble. He merely nodded his head slightly, acknowledging that he had heard her and had some idea. He wasn't at all surprised to hear the following thing that she had said. After all, the dark clan had similar rules for when a light dragon wound up in their territory though that most likely wasn't as often as a dark dragon finding it's way into the light territory. He really wasn't shaken by the statement and was a little surprised that Kanone had even voiced any concern. Reyes was pretty much a complete stranger to him and regardless of how the guy looked he was still a bit surprised that anyone even cared. He sighed quietly and listened to the two of them go back and forth a bit on the topic. He shifted his glance back to Hikari as she was finishing up on what she had to say for now. He nodded his head again in understanding. "I understand." He said with a faint nod. "I'm fairly certain that Reyes will stay out of trouble, or at least not instigate any." He paused. "Reyes was also not trained to be a fighter like me." He said, mostly directing that towards Hikari since she had been told a little about the way dark dragon boys grew up. "To my own knowledge Reyes has no combat ability so that would make her pretty harmless unless something has changed that I am unaware of." He glanced over to Reyes only for a moment before turning his attention back to Hikari. "Should anything come up which would land Reyes ...or Kanone for that matter in prison, what can be done about it?" He was curious, without a doubt. He wasn't sure what constituted imprisonment for the light dragons so he wanted some rough idea what it would take to get his cousin out should anything happen. Reyes just wasn't built for imprisonment, or battling for that matter.
Reyes remained quiet while Nero spoke and looked between him and the light dragon. He couldn't help but smile at her when she said 'we can't have that, now can we'. It was nice not to be turned away by her right away. Even if she had said for him to go he wouldn't have listened. He would have followed Nero anyway, well, unless Nero told him to leave then he would consider it. He smiled again, a bit more widely after she had said that it was nice to meet him. "It's nice to meet you too." He said happily. This was his first time meeting a light clan dragon so he was honestly happy about it even if their clans weren't exactly on the best of terms. He continued to stand there quietly as the girl finally continued on about the whole imprisonment thing. He didn't flinch, not even in the slightest and he kept the smile plastered on his face. The idea didn't even bother him. He understood why things were that way and he wasn't really afraid or anything. He'd never been imprisoned before so he couldn't really say for sure if that would be completely true. He turned his attention slightly between Kanone and the girl once he had spoken concern. Well, that was nice of him. He finally opened his mouth once everyone was done talking, even Nero and continued to smile a bit. "Nothing has really changed, Nero." He paused. "I'm still the same Reyes I was last time you saw me." That wasn't entirely true but he didn't want to raise any more suspicion especially since Nero could vouch that he wasn't a threat or anything. He did have combat ability now whereas he didn't use to. Since he obtained Shen he kind of had to learn a few extra things to make Shen happy though he wasn't about to go sharing that.

Hikari nodded slightly to Nero, glad that he understood what she was saying. She turned her attention occasionally to Reyes when she spoke up and smiled at her, her serious expression wavering only when she spoke to her. She was honestly a bit surprised that Reyes seemed so happy about meeting her. Once Reyes had confirmed that nothing had changed she smiled slightly and then nodded her head a little before looking back to Nero since he had asked what could be done. "Well...I hate to say it but here...Kanone has nothing to worry about... The wind, water, and thunder clans can more or less come and go as they please here since we have had no trouble from any of them. As for in other territories, I can't say..." She glanced over to Reyes and then back to Nero, "As for you two...once you're noticed they will likely try to take you in first and ask questions later... We can show them the note from the elders that allows you passage, but that will not verify for Reyes's being here, and I'm afraid they won't take she's keeping an eye on you as a valid reason so..." She sighed heavily, "...To put it simply, the elders, King Akito, and his children of age are the only ones who can grant release, in that order. For example if the princess allowed her to pass, she could still be overruled by Akito...and I'm afraid Akito is...biased....to say the very least. He was the one who made the decree in the first place, after all..." She actually seemed almost annoyed whenever she said Akito's name. Clearly she and her king had some very different views on some things. She finally just smiled weakly and offered a shrug. "...I hope there will not be much of a problem...After all, it's not entirely impossible to change his mind." She glanced over to Reyes and shook her head a little, "I just wanted you both to understand the risk her being here poses so that you wouldn't be too surprised if something happened."

Nero listened quietly to everything that Hikari had to say and then sighed softly once she was finished. "...Not on the same page as your King?" He commented mostly because of the way she sounded annoyed when she said his name. The name to him sounded awfully familiar but he wasn't entirely sure he could properly place the name. All he remembered is that he had heard it before, at least once and he couldn't remember where from. He stared over at his cousin for a few moments and then shook his head very lightly. "Though I completely understand the reasoning, I can only hope that nothing comes up." He paused. "Reyes knows how to behave but I can't promise that will last forever if she winds up imprisoned. I mean... that's enough to drive just about anyone batty and she's never even had formal training for sitting in a prison." Unfortunately for Reyes, most boys did wind up with some rough idea of what sitting in a prison could be like. Of course the experience changed depending on which territory but they still wanted them to have some idea of what they were going to have to deal with. He kind of wished that when they were first taking on this mission he had thought to ask that one thunder elder what steps could be taken if someone else had wanted to accompany them. He was quiet for a few moments longer and then glanced back towards Hikari. "...I guess we'll just deal with it when and if that happens." He said quietly.
Reyes just stood where he was standing quietly while the girl and Nero spoke, glancing between them occasionally. He too understood what the girl was saying though he didn't quite agree with it. Then again this wasn't his territory and it wasn't going to change just because he didn't like the way something was. He continued to listen to the two of them and completely brushed the topic aside since it wasn't exactly a major concern at the moment. He turned his attention to the light dragon and smiled brightly. "...So..." He started. "You know my name, but I'm not positive I know yours... and I doubt you want me to go around calling you Princess Sparkly like Nero." He said with a quiet chuckle.

Hikari almost snorted when Nero asked if she was not on the same page as her king, but managed to keep the noise down to a quiet grunt. "...We rarely are. I do not see the world in black and white and I do not believe in being guilty by association. My mother taught me better than that." Her voice was actually a little hard for once, as if she had quite a few other things to add to that, but wasn't about to say them out loud. After all...her mother was the king's wife. When she was alive he was a lot kinder than he was now. Now that she was gone it was like every ounce of her wisdom had drained out of him leaving him a cold, hard, empty shell that she occasionally just wanted to chuck to the bottom of the lake. She shook her head again and sighed softly, her voice returning to it's normal soft tone once Nero had spoken again. She nodded in agreement at his pause when he voiced the hope that nothing would come up. She hoped so as well, but she wasn't going to count on it. She tilted her head a little when Nero said that Reyes hadn't had the training to go along with sitting in a prison. "...I don't believe they're that bad..." she said, though she sounded unsure. After all, she'd never been locked down there before, and had only been down there once, sneaking around. Not to mention she couldn't even say with certainly how her people treated their prisoners, though she would love to think it was humanely. She smiled meekly at Nero, "You might like them...it's probably the darkest place in the territory," she said only half jokingly. It was dark...but she doubted he'd like them. She nodded again and sighed softly. "I'll do my best to prevent it from being a problem... If worst comes to worst I'll just wind up in another disagreement with Akito and if he's too pig headed just request audience with G–the Elder, since I'm sure she's more reasonable." She almsot blushed at her near slip. Yes, call the Elder, Grandmother in front of Nero... Then again, she supposed she should be using Akito's title as well, but honestly...she found that hard to do. She couldn't even call the man "father" anymore without wanting to gag. He was anything but fatherly. She didn't think too much on how easy she made it sound to speak to all of these people. Got her, it wasn't hard at all. She could barge into Akito's bedchamber if she really wanted his attention. The Elders weren't very hard to reach either considering their relation, they were in the same castle, though they mostly stayed in the other half which was a bit more restricted than the Royal's side, however they did share a garden. She blinked and glanced over to Reyes when the girl spoke to her again, that patient smiled returning to her face again as she girl pointed out that she hadn't given her name. Again, she blushed slightly. "Oops..." she was about to give her her name when she mentioned calling her Princess Sparkly. She stared at her for a section, her ears perked up and her mouth half open as if she wanted to speak but was too dumbfounded to say anything. After a second her ears pinned back and she gave Nero a look out of the corner of her eye as she scowled. Without warning one of her newly unfolded arms raised and she smacked Nero in the back of the head with her first two fingers, hard enough to make a cracking sound, but likely not to hurt...too bad. "...So I'm Princess Sparkly now? Is it that hard to use my name?" she fumed, her tail twitching in annoyance. "Or should I start calling you 'Nemo'?" she retaliated. She had a feeling that would get him right there. If he was going to give Reyes annoying nick names for her, she could come up with a few he wouldn't like as well. She already heard Kanone snicker, sure he was amused since that had all started due to his blunder at trying to remember his name. She shook her head again, her little smile returning just enough to let Nero know that she wasn't really angry. It was a little annoying, but not enough to make her really mad. Finally she looked back to Reyes. "...You can call me Hikari," she said politely before motioning back to Kyran behind her. "And this is Kyran." She glanced around a little and smiled slightly. "Is there anyone else to whom you've yet to be introduced?" she asked, curious since she had been the last to wake up. She didn't know if Nanashi or LaRae had bothered or not, though from their unchanged position, she assumed not.

Nero barely paid any attention to the way Hikari was speaking. Had he been listening better he might have noticed the way she was speaking, making it sound like she could directly approach her King. Unfortunately he was a little distracted by the possibility of something happening to Reyes. He just kind of stared over at her for a moment from the corner of his eye when she made the sad attempt at a joke about his maybe liking the cells since they'd be dark. Har-har. He had very little humor with the idea of his cousin being stuck in some light dragons idea of a prison cell all because Reyes had no real good reason for being here. He really wouldn't care so much if the other dark dragon hadn't been blood related to him or a close friend but then again, even a close friend would be better than his own kin. He glanced over to Reyes when he started to bring up that he hadn't gotten a name yet and then made mention of the name he'd jokingly called Hikari. He kept a straight face and started to glance over at Hikari to see how she took that but wound up getting smacked in the back of the head before he got a good enough look. He leaned his head forward a little and his ears laid back slightly before he lifted his hand to rub the back of his head lightly. He just smiled weakly when she asked if it was that hard to use her name. No, he guessed it wasn't but he preferred to mess with her when he could so of course Princess Sparkly had more finesse. His ears perked slightly at the mention of 'Nemo' and he sighed quietly. Of course that would come back to haunt him after Kanone finally got the damn name straight. "If you want to start calling me that I'll just make sure that I'm not the only one calling you Princess Sparkly every time you're spoken to." He said with a faint smirk. He figured it would be extremely easy to talk Reyes into referring to her as that every time he wanted to say something to her and knowing him he would go well out of his way to call her that.
Reyes glanced between the girl and Nero briefly and flinched very slightly when she smacked Nero in the back of the head. Honestly, he had kind of expected more of a reaction out of Nero. He was a little amused at the comment of calling Nero 'Nemo'. That was the first time he had ever heard that and it was a little funny but he did know better than to go calling Nero that. He'd be lucky to get away fast enough to not be smacked himself. He turned his attention back to the girl when she finally said that he could call her Hikari. He nodded his head and then glanced to the thunder dragon when she gave his name as well. Again, he nodded and then smiled a bit. "Nice to meet you too, Kyran." He said and then gave a brighter smile once Kyran had acknowledged him. He turned his attention back to Hikari when she asked if there was anyone else he hadn't been introduced to. He turned slightly and glanced around a little before pointing over towards the fire and earth dragons. "Those two." He paused. "Neither of them have come over and well, I've been talking so I hadn't slipped over there yet."

Hikari made a face at Nero when he threatened to have someone else calling her that ostentatious nick name. "Oh, I'm sure we can come up with a better one for you, Mr. Tall-Dark-And-Gloomy. How do you like Shadow? Think it suits you pretty well." It actually did suit him well with the way he always stayed int eh shadows and in the back of the ground, following them just like a shadow. But then again...it sounded like a dog's name, which was why she figured he wouldn't like it too much. She smirked slightly at him and stared at him for a long moment with what might almsot be a challenging glare until she heard someone laughing. It didn't take her more than a few seconds to realize it was Kanone.
Kanone couldn't help but snort at the name Shadow. The first thing that popped into his head was a loyal dog that would follow it's master anywhere. Yet what the funniest thing was was that it seemed to match almost perfectly. He'd gathered from what little time he had spent with Nero that he was indeed loyal to his comrades, even if at the moment they were from different clans. It was an admirable quality, one of the things he liked about him. He shook his head and finally just bend double, resting his hands on his knees as he laughed after catching Hikari's expression toward Nero. "Hahaha!! You– You two are...just like little kids! Hahaha!!"
Hikari stared at Kanone for a moment an then looked back to Nero again, trying to keep up the mean look, but her lips twitched at the edges and finally she just laughed as well, an almost bell-like sound that completely betrayed any hint of real irritation she might have had. There was none really and as if to to prove it she just shook her head and raised her hand to Nero's head, patting it lightly in the front, playfully. No, she wasn't mad in the slightest, just trying to match his humor. It was rather silly. "Don't push and I won't shove, Nero." She finally turned her attention back to Reyes and smiled more warmly at her than before. She'd apparently needed a good laugh. Being here was making her too tense. She glanced over to Nanahsi and LaRae, not surprised they were the last to introduce themselves...or be introduce as it was. "...The girl is LaRae, the boy is Nana–" she was cut off suddenly by a rather urgent sounding 'Shh!' that almost seemed to be without origin.
Celestine was just resting with his head on Nobu while he listened to Hikari and Nero go back and forth and Kanone's almost obnoxious, ceaseless laughing. He was trying to listen to something else when he did hear something...a twig breaking. He raised his head, perking his ears and listened harder over the other noises, leaves rustling...silence... "Shh!" he hissed at everyone, loudly. It cut Hikari off mid-word and stopped Kanone's laughter abruptly, apparently startling him. He didn't bother to look at any of them. He kept his head straight, eyes staring off into the forest form the side, the one where he had gone to sleep last night. The sounds were very faint, but Celestine's hearing was sharper than anyone else's here. He could hear it just fine. He glanced to Kanone who also seemed to be listening now, but gave him a curious look that told him he wasn't hearing anything. He stared in the direction of the trees for a long moment, narrowing his eyes. He could still hear it. Slow, deliberately slow, footfalls on the leaves. Something was trying to sneak up on them. He listened harder slowly inching his hand toward his blades as he stared at the trees. "...Do you hear that?" he finally asked, his voice so low most would probably have trouble hearing him. His question was directed at Kanone whom he was a little disappointed to see merely listen for a few seconds and then shake his head, still looking confused and now, worried. Suddenly there was another sound, this thing ahead where they should be going. It was loud enough any one of them could have heard it in the silence. Something dislodged one of the loose pieces of crustal from it's structure and caused it to clank off of another piece, not too far away. That...somehow seemed deliberate, though it still drew his attention in that direction as he jerked his head sharply in that direction. It was just seconds later that he heard Lani, far above them, screeching out her warning cry, the one that she used whenever she saw humans. She was to the left, the way he'd been looking originally. His eyes widened lightly and he grabbed his blade handle, starting to remove it from it's sheath. "Hu–ehck!" he choked on the word as something shot strait into the side of his throat from the direction that he had been looking originally. He felt the sting, it felt like fire spreading through his neck, though when he threw his hand up he found only the tail end of a tiny, red blow dart. It wasn't but a few seconds later that his vision started to double as he jerked out the little dart. He could already feel the effects of the dart. His head swam and he staggered, falling on his side. He hadn't gotten his blade far enough from the sheathe to do anything with it, it fell back into place when he lost his grip on it. For a sluggish moment he tried to process what was happening. His head swam, bus limbs all suddenly felt unimaginably heavy, and his eyes wanted to close. He tried to push himself up slowly but got nowhere and it seemed he laid back down more than fell, his head resting on one outstretched arm as he lay there, suddenly motionless, his eyes barely open a sliver as his chest continued to rise and fall in the calm, even state of someone asleep...or in his case, sedated.
