Kyran continued to stare down at Nanashi, waiting for some sort of response from him. He didn't quite catch what he had said but judging from his body language it looked like he probably gave in and was going to let him help him. He sighed as he continued looking at Nanashi, seeing how defeated he looked. "...Don't let it get to you, sometimes we all need a little help." He told him. He would have added that he had Nanashi at the top of his list should he ever need to be carried but he wasn't so sure Nanashi could handle carrying him any great distance. He had carried him once back when he collapsed at his own house but that was only up to a bed. He shook his head lightly. "At any rate, you will probably have a good amount of time to rest while we are here. I doubt Hikari will be able to separate herself from the Princess very easily." He said and then sighed softly. That was going to be a whole other problem when it came to trying to figure out where the relic was and actually getting it. He stepped closer to Nanashi and then turned and knelt down. He held his hands back slightly so that all Nanashi would really have to do was get on his back and he'd latch onto his legs and stand up. The sooner they could get him inside and in a bed the better.

Nanashi glanced at Kyran again when he told him not to let it get to him. "...Help...is all I've needed....since this trip...started..." he responded quietly, still finding it a little hard to gather enough air to speak normally, though he was at least sounding a tiny bit better. Once Kyran knelt down he sighed softly and inched forward slowly, though as soon as he let go of the railing he started wobbling a little, and practically fell on Kyran's back anyway. He gasped when he caught himself falling forward and then latched onto his neck. "I'm sorry!" he blurted as he quickly loosened his grip. He hoped he hadn't hurt him falling on him like that, but at least luckily for Kyran he still didn't weigh too much...though it was still probably enough to be uncomfortable having it land on your back. He tried to draw his legs up so that Kyran could get a hold on him and then sighed softly as he lowered his spinning head down to rest on his own arm while he held on loosely. He still had that expression of wishing that he could crawl under a rock and disappear, but he didn't bother saying anything else along the line of apologies. He could probably get on Kyran's nerves apologizing up and down for having him carry him...again.

Kyran waited paitently for Nanashi to get on his back and choked on his breah when he wound up falling onto his back. He hadn't expected that so it did startle him a little and forced him to not only choke on his breath but almost instantly lose it afterward. He took a moment to breathe and then shook his head a little. "It's alright." He told him quietly and then latched onto his legs so that when he stood up he didn't lose him. He didn't have too much trouble getting to his feet but without a doubt it could have been a little easier. Once he was upright he glanced to Nanashi momentarily. "...You shouldn't worry about stuff like that Nanashi." He told him referring to his previous comment about all he's needed since the trip started was help. "We've all needed help at one point or another and it will continue that way." He paused. "...And being embarrassed about needing and recieving help isn't nearly as bad as not knowing when to ask for it and never asking." He told him quietly as he started to head up the stairs. He took them a bit slowly, just to make sure he didn't lose his balance. Climbing the stairs with the extra weight was a little harder than when it was just him so he was trying his best to be careful.

Nanashi laid his ears back a little when he realized that he had knocked the wind out of Kyran. He sighed softly when Kyran told him that it was alright and then stood up with him. He absently held on a little more tightly, as he usually did when he was being carried. He still wasn't all that comfortable with being carried at all, so he couldn't help but want to hold on, even though he trusted Kyran not to drop him. He let out another soft sigh when Kyran started to lecture him a little. He knew what he was getting at with his comment. "...I'm sorry..." he responded quietly, his voice still whispering quiet, "...I just...hate being a nuisance.... ...It's my fault...that I ended up like this...you shouldn't...have to put up with me....every time...I get hurt...." He sighed softly and then leaned his head lightly against Kyran's since that was about all he could do at the moment as far as showing any appreciation went physically. "...I'm...really sorry...to cause you so much trouble...even...if you don't...mind.... I know it's a pain...but...I appreciate it...." Once he had finished speaking he shut his eyes and nuzzled his head lightly against Kyran's for a brief moment before pulling his head away again so that there was a little space between them again. It was hard not to relax a little. He had been pushing himself hard to make it this far and he was completely exhausted. He had been feeling a little drained ever since...well ever since he had died for a few minutes in Kairava. He probably should have taken it easy for a good two or three weeks after that, but of course he couldn't very well slow everyone down that long. Unfortunately, he didn't know how much more he could take. His sternum still ached a little from time to time where Hikari had tried to hard to revive him with CPR, and he knew he had caused himself to lose a decent amount of blood front that...crazy transformation. Since then he had been grated like a piece of cheese all down his midsection and bled half to death, broken his arm and bruised himself all over falling down the stairs, received a concussion, broken and busted nose, and multiple kicks to the gut from the guy in Kairava, and he had only gotten to rest for roughly a week or so at best before he was gashed open yet again and wound up with yet another head injury. He was still sore in many areas and almost chronically lightheaded and tired, but he had been trying his best not to complain since he knew that Hikari had done all that she could for him. At least his arm wasn't broken any longer and he didn't have any wounds that could be reopened, but his head and all of this bruises were on their own. He had been trying not to even look at his reflection when he could avoid it. He knew his arms, legs, sides, and nose were still multiple shades of purple and yellow. At least now, hopefully, he would be able to rest enough that he was recovered a little more fully and after the trek he was pretty sure that a nice long sleep was in his near future whether he liked it or not.

Kyran listened quietly to Nanashi while he started up the stairs with him. He briefly took notice that LaRae was still close, most likely keeping a close eye just to be safe. He didn't think he would drop Nanashi but if anything of the sort happened he was fairly certain that he would go down as well, one way or the other. He sighed quietly once Nanashi appeared to be finished. "There's been a series of unfortunate events, that's all." He told him quietly. "It isn't like you purposely look for someone or something to injure you so it isn't really your fault." He did think though that with a little training Nanashi could at the very least learn how to dodge, or even defend against certain attacks. That much would at least be nice because it would mean less people had to worry about him during a fight of any kind. He didn't blame Nanashi for the stuff that has happened to him but it was hard not to feel just a little annoyed at the fact that he couldn't really do anything. He knew it was just Nanashi's personality that made him not want to hurt people but defense didn't exactly mean you had to hurt someone. He was thankful that Nanashi could show a little appreciation for the things he did. Carrying him wasn't always a pain in the tail but on the days when he himself was still tired it was hard. He glanced over to Nanashi briefly. "I know you probably get tired of hearing it but if you should really take someone up on some defense training at the very least." He paused. "Even if you don't use what you learn against people who hurt you because of what you are you can use it when we come in contact with threats like these guardian's or even hunters for that matter." He told him as he finally started to reach the top of the steps again. He did feel that Nanashi could learn what he needed to learn and then he could decide whether or not to use the knowledge. It wasn't like it was going to kill him to know how to fight or defend himself and if he did learn, at least the knowledge would be there should he ever need it... unlike now... when he didn't really know a whole lot and couldn't do much without a great stroke of luck.

Nanashi listened silently to Kyran, not making much of an effort to respond to his reassurances. He knew that he hadn't gotten hurt on purpose, but these last few times he hadn't really had much of a chance to defend himself. That fish had been too fast for him to do anything about, and the hunters had snuck up on him from behind while he was trying to keep an eye on everyone else and he was on his face before he even knew they were there. He sighed softly when Kyran told him that he should take someone up on defense training. "...I thought that...was what I did..." he responded softly. He had trained enough with Aamori to learn to defend himself against her, as well as Kyran's attacks with his blades. He definitely hadn't forgotten about that little match, it had pretty easily scared the crap out of him, even though he knew that if Kyran had really wanted to hurt him he easily could have. He knew that had been a short lesson, but he had gotten the hang of it pretty easily, and he had never told anyone that he wouldn't try again...when he was able to stand up for more than a few minutes without feeling dizzy. He leaned his head against Kyran's again lightly, already finding it hard to keep his eyes open and stay with it. He was so tired that so long a she wasn't moving all he wanted to do was rest and since Kyran was doing all of the walking for him...well he didn't have much else to do at the moment.

Hikari remained standing near the top of the stairs as Kyran retrieved Nanashi and made his way back up the stairs with him. Once he was near her, she stepped back and let him back onto the landing before glancing to Nanashi. He still looked like he was breathing a little harder than normal and honestly...looked like he might be on the verge of just going to sleep. She really wished now that she had remembered that he needed to take a break, but she just had so many things on her mind right now it was a little hard to remember to stop when she was trying to get out of the area as quickly as possible. Now that everyone was at the top of the stairs she sighed heavily and then turned back to the large double doors. "Alright...come on..." she told them, though she sounded as if she would have loved to stay outside. She moved up to the doors and reached for the spiraling golden handle to open the door. She pushed inward and shoved on the door until it disconnected from the one on the left and opened inward. She then stepped inside and stood against the door, holding it open for everyone else so that they could come on inside.

Kanone just stood with Nero while they waited for Kyran to go fetch Nanashi and then watched Hikari move toward the doors and pushed the one open. He waited a bit for everyone else to get going before giving Nero a gentle nudge on the shoulder to get him to move forward until he was in front of the door since they had been a bit off to the side, and then turned him so that all he had to do was walk straight inside. He let Nero inside first and then slipped in behind him. Already, he was looking around and practically stunned by the interior of the place. Naturally, practically everything was white or some light, pastel color. The floors were mostly white, though they almost looked as if someone had sifted pale blue sand over a layer of white and then coated it all over with glass so that it was laid out in smooth, even slabs. The stairs were the same as the foyer's entrance, as were most of the floors that he could see. The foyer was wide and the walls were nicely decorated with embroidered tapestries, one of which depicted a coat of arms. Up ahead were two sets of stairs that led up to another level with a long hallway opening up beneath them. On the second level he could see another opening similar to the one below it with a stairway on either side that led up to yet another level that he really couldn't see. There were doors along the second level, one on each side of the room, and then a walkway that came back and overlooked the foyer with decorative banister that stood almost even with the large crystal chandelier that hung over the foyer with small glowing balls illuminating it from the inside with white light that sent rainbows dancing off of the walls through the prisms.

Celestine hung back a little and moved toward the door sloely before glancing down to the canines. He wasn't entirely sure where they were supposed to go, but he didn't want to just walk in with them, though he expected they would stay outside even if he went in.

Hikari glanced out when she noticed Celestine and the dogs stop at the door. "Come on, they can come inside, too. I don't see that it's going to hurt anything."
"...You sure?" The place seemed a little fancy to him to allow animals inside. He was even a little wary of taking Kyiri inside.
She just shrugged a little. "Why not? My dog runs lose in here. Besides, it's my house, the only other person who has any right to complain loves dogs, so I doubt he'll care." She waited for them to get inside and then started to push the door closed behind them.

Kyran nodded his head slightly. "You did... but you need to continue doing so and seek out the help for yourself in the training rather then waiting." He paused. "You will learn more when you actually want to be learning... or at least in my opinion and well... you don't really like to fight to begin with." He said quietly. He glanced, or well, he tried without actually moving his head to look to Nanashi when he felt him lean his head against his once more. He didn't really mind and he didn't care if Nanashi fell asleep or not. He was going to be in a bed soon enough anyway so it didn't matter if he feel asleep before he actually made it to the bed. It also wasn't like he was really any heavier if he fell asleep. As it was Nanashi didn't entirely have the strength in him to get around on his own so he was pretty close to dead weight already. He shifted weight very slightly once he was safely on the landing and waited patiently for Hikari to continue. After Hikari had opened the door he waited for Aamori and Reyes to slip in first since they weren't with anyone else really and then followed inside, being careful not to jostle Nanashi or bang him against the door on his way inside. He took a moment once inside and away from the door to look around a little though he rather easily broke his attention away from the nice looking interior. "Do you need to check in with anyone first or can we get him straight to a bed?" He asked as looked to Hikari. He was kind of hoping that they could take Nanashi to a bed to rest before anything else had to happen and he was pretty sure that she was going to need to see Ishta as soon as possible.

LaRae followed after Kyran and kept a decent distance just on the off chance that Kyran accidentally dropped Nanashi or something. She pried her eyes away from Nanashi and started to look around a little once she had gotten inside. She had never been inside of a palace before and the inside was just as pretty, if not more beautiful than the exterior... or at least as much of it as she could see. She was pretty sure that it was only going to get more extravagant looking as they continued further inside. She wasn't used to such swanky looking places so she was a little surprised that anyone could really call this their home. It kind of seemed way too rich looking for someone to actually live in. She supposed that depending on how rich you were the house really did show it. Her foster family was kind of well-to-do but by no means rich enough to afford anything more then a rather large house and a comfortable amount of land and even their house showed just how much money they had. She still thought this place was going to see more like a museum or something because it just didn't seem like people actually lived somewhere like this.

Nero was glad once he felt Kanone nudge him a little to get him to move forward. He was happy to be able to be moving again. He had gathered that Kyran had made it back up the stairs and that a door had opened but he hadn't made any move to go anywhere until Kanone said so. He stiffened momentarily when Kanone had to turn him but made the motion regardless and then continued ahead. He had no real idea where he was but assumed he was entering a building, the palace most likely or at least some part of it. It was just a little weird being turned because it offset everything you thought you knew already about where you were. Part of him was thankful that he couldn't see considering the interior of the building was light colored as well but he kind of would have liked to have been able to see what in the world he had just stepped into. He was pretty sure though that if the inside of the palace was really nice he would probably get a word for word description of the place from someone... if not Kanone then Reyes. Yeah... Reyes would probably do that even if someone else had just because the place would probably impress him a little.

Reyes hadn't wasted any time slipping inside once he had been given the okay. He had entered after Aamori did and he watched her momentarily seeing that she didn't seem too surprised or extremely impressed by the inside. He on the other hand was impressed. Even with the annoying light colors it was still kind of pretty and he had to admit the floor was probably the neatest part. He even dared to slide his glasses down a little so that he could get a slightly more clear look at the floor but otherwise kept the glasses in place. He glanced back towards the door when he heard Hikari speak. He hadn't really thought about the canines... Shen always stayed in his shadow so it wasn't much of a thought when he went inside a building or anything. He supposed he may have to try and think about that more often... someone might not want animals in their house... though... he wasn't exactly in the building... per say. He focused back on Hikari momentarily when she said that her dog runs lose in the house. "You have a dog?" He asked. He was a little surprised to hear that a dog ran lose in the palace. He just didn't think a dog running around free in a palace seemed normal. Dogs could get dirty... be noisy and attack people they didn't like... the palace surely saw it's fair share of visitors so he could only imagine how the dog liked that.

Nanashi was a little too tired to argue much wish anything Kyran said, not that he would have...but the only response from him that Kyran received was a small, incoherent grumble of acknowledgment. He didn't move his head once he had allowed it to fall over, and once they were inside, he didn't even bother to crack open his eyes to peek around. He was sure that he would see the place later on so right now, it wasn't worth the strain to look around. At this point rest was the only thing on his mind at all.

Hikari glanced back to Reyes when she asked her if she had a dog and then made a bit of a face. "...Yeah.... Well, it's more like a furry, barking rodent.... Careful, she may try to chew on your shoes." Finally she stepped away from the door and moved further into the foyer before glancing over to Kyran. "Of course, come on. I think Ishta can wait a few minutes...," she responded simply. Unfortunately, she didn't get a chance to really get anywhere before she heard a familiar voice answer her remark.

"I've already been waiting for a few hours," Ishta retorted as she came up the hallway. As usual her choppy silver hair was hanging lose just above her shoulders and half in her face, giving her an almost frightening appearance, though her piercing blue eyes didn't help matters at all, especially since they were narrowed in mild annoyance. The woman could easily have been mistaken for a male were it not for the curve in her hips and her mildly feminine attire. She wore a tight blue tank top alone with a silver breast plate that made her already flat chest look almost nonexistent. A long blue cape hung down just a little bast her knees in the back, just a shade or two darker than her shirt. Her pants were tight and colored the same as her cape and had a silver belt running around the top with a large buckle depicting the same moon and sun symbol seen in many areas around the palace. The same design was also embroidered in silver on the back of her cape, though it would not be visible unless she turned around. Her arms were covered up past the elbows in a pair of plain white gloves, and her feet up to the knees with a pair of white platform boots. At first glance the boots likely looked normal enough, white with light blue laces, though if one happened to wonder what the clicking noise was every time she took a step and happened to look closer they would notice that the six inch heel on the boots was in face a sharp six inch spike. Even inside she had a sword attached to her belt and hanging loosely at her side. There was also a cobalt blue mark tattooed under her right eye, a thin triangle that pointed in toward the bridge of her nose. She sighed softly as she approached the group from the hallway beneath the stairs and looked them all over, raising an eyebrow when she noticed two dark dragons in the group. Or well...one dark dragon, and one that looked like he had tried to take a bath in paint. "...Would you care to explain this?" she asked bluntly as she pointed to Reyes. "And what are those?" she asked as she caught sight of the canines.

"I'm sure I will be explaining a lot of things later, Ish...," she responded with a soft sigh. "Right now, we need to get him upstairs and him to a bath before he's too stiff to move," she responded as she motioned back to Nero. "...They're dogs, we'll leave it at that."
"Oh we've got a lot more to do than that...," she responded dryly as she reached up to take a hold of Selenity's chin and turned her head so that she could examine the scars there.
"Ah! Hey!" Hikari huffed as she raised her hand to swat Ishta's away from her face. "Do you mind?"
Ishta backed up quickly and pulled her hand back to catch Selenity's. "...And who did you hit?" she asked, looking a little annoyed, but sounding more amused than anything as she looked at the fight-bite on the princess's hand.
"Renard...because he decided it would be funny to dump a bucket of paint over my buddy's head," she replied irritably. "I'll let you deal with him later...."
Ishta actually rolled her eyes a little when she heard the name. "Him again?" She sighed heavily, "Fine...I'll get someone to pick him up later.... Get downstairs and have something done about that before someone else sees you...."
"...'Hi, Selenity, nice to have you back,'" Hikari said a little sarcastically, "Is that too much to ask?"
"And change into something presentable while you're at it..."
"Yes, mother...." Hikari sighed heavily and stepped forward before glancing back to everyone. "I'm sorry.... I'll be back in a little while.... You can all make yourselves at home, and Ishta, since you're shuffling me off, you can show Kyran where the bedrooms are. While you're at it, get someone to get the bath ready and show Nero where it is." She gave the group an apologetic look and then sighed again heavily as she turned and started to walk quickly toward the hallway that Ishta had come from and started to walk quickly toward the end of the hallway to the spiraling stairway at the end that led down to the clinic area. Well, at least while she was down there, she could inform the healer about Nanashi and get her to go check him out while he rested.

Celestine just stood there silently, staring around the room until he heard the other woman's sharp voice cut through the room after Hikari spoke. He looked ahead and stared at the woman for a moment before he almost sheepishly stepped back a little to stand beside Kanone. He couldn't help but be a little bit amused by the exchange between the princess and the guard...mostly because it was entirely not what he expected. This Ishta definitely didn't talk to Hikari like she was a princess...she spoke to her more like she was a little sister or something, and Hikari responded about the same way. He was a little surprised that the woman wasn't more formal with her, especially in the presence of company, but then again...if those two were close, she probably knew how Hikari acted when no one was looking. She obviously wasn't surprised to see that Hikari wasn't beyond hitting someone in the mouth. He sighed when Hikari told them all to make themselves at home and then glanced around again. Right...he wasn't even sure where a couch was.

Kanone was a little too impressed by the interior of the room to start rambling about it right off. He was busy staring at the rainbows cast all over the walls, though his attention did shift when who he assumed to be Ishta came into the room and started on Hikari almost immediately. He glanced to Reyes when she asked Hikari...or Selenity...whoever, to explain her. He just tilted his head a little as he listened to them go back and forth, unable to keep from snickering at some of Hikari's remarks...like when she decided to speak as Ishta to herself. Apparently a nice 'hi, how you doing?' was a little much to ask around here.

Kyran couldn't help but chuckle a little when he heard Hikari answer about her dog. He was hadn't thought she had a dog but hearing the way she spoke about it was a bit humorous. He nodded his head when he heard Hikari say that she thought Ishta could wait a few more minutes. He was glad to hear that, at least until he heard the other woman's voice. He had only met Ishta once before and sighed almost heavily when she approached. He didn't have anything against the woman but he had kind of hoped Hikari would've had a few more minutes to show them around herself before she was rushed off. He kept quiet while the two of them went back and forth though he did smile a little after listening to how they spoke to one another. He wasn't that surprised to really hear that Ishta was going to get show them around now that Hikari had other things she needed to do. Now he was just curious to know if Ishta was actually going to do it herself or if she was going to pass it off to someone else. "It's alright, Princess." He said to her after she had apologized and said that she would be back in a little while. He continued to stand where he was and watched Hikari when she left. He then glanced to Ishta though he didn't say anything to her at the moment and just waited patiently.

Reyes tried not to stare at the woman who showed up and started addressing Hikari. It was kind of hard not to stare at her though it was a lot easier after she had pointed at him and wanted an explanation. The woman looked a little intimidating for a light dragon, at least in his opinion. He also assumed that she was some sort of military-type personnel judging by the way that she was dressed... not everyone wore armor. It wasn't like it was a rare sight for him but it wasn't everyday that he saw someone dressed the way she was. Then of course the boots... those were quite interesting and for a brief moment he wondered if he would be able to walk in a boot like that with a spike for a heel.

Nero continued to stand where he was silently though he did lift his head slightly when he heard the other woman. He kind of wanted to know what the woman looked like, especially since the woman was being told to show them around. He kind of assumed that may have meant they would be dealing with her often, or at least often enough. He sighed softly and started to crack his eyes open. He didn't get them open too much before he had to shut them again. The rainbows being cast all over the walls kind of bothered him on top of the interior being light colored. It was a lot of bright to take in at once. He grimaced and then tried again only to find he could keep his eyes open a little longer but wound up closing them again. He really wished things weren't so bright but he did guess that his eyes could adjust to the interior a little easier then being outside. If he tried he could probably be alright in the palace, it would just bother him a little, possibly even give him a headache by the end of the day but it wouldn't be impossible to see. He tried a couple more times to get his eyes open fully and managed to see enough of what the woman looked like to be satisfied before he gave in and just kept his eyes shut again.

Ishta glanced back momentarily as Selenity started to move toward the stairs and then sighed softly before glancing back to the large miss-matched group. Absently, she placed her hands on her hips and then sighed as she tilted her head a little. "...It seems this group has gotten larger since it set out...," she commented absently before she shook her head a little. "Well, never mind.... As the princess said, you may all feel free to go where you please. I'm afraid I do not have time to give you a detailed tour, so feel free to look around on your own or ask someone else. And...try to keep the animals off of the furniture...." She looked over to Kyran again and then back to the paint covered dark dragon and the spotted wind dragon who was apparently guiding him around. "You two come with me," she said simply, motioning to the paint stained dragons in the back. She half wanted to drag the girl along as well, but she knew that there was no real point in it at the moment. She started to turn then and move back toward the stairs. "You too, Kyran," she added as she started away, her cape billowing out behind her a little as she walked briskly toward the stairs.

Kanone blinked when Ishta decided to start walking to quickly and then gave Nero a nudge and tried to guide him around the others without running him over anyone. "Hey, wait up!" he called to Ishta since she was already practically in front of the stairs. "Geez...how does she move so fast in those crazy shoes?" he muttered quietly, mostly to himself. He still kept his hand on Nero's shoulder as they moved, and he was trying to nudge him along fast enough to keep up with Ishta without causing him to trip up.

Ishta paused once she reached the stairs and sighed heavily. "Hurry up...," she responded in an irritable tone. She thought she was walking slow enough for everyone to keep up, though she was so used to walking quickly that she didn't really realize that she was still on the verge of jogging with her stride.
"Hey, we're going as fast as we can...he can't exactly see where he's walking."
Ishta stared at the dark dragon for a moment and then rolled her eyes a little before snapping her fingers and causing the lights in the chandelier to dim considerably. With the white interior, even a little light was enough to see by, and there was still enough light that it cast a dim blueish glow over the room. "There...use your eyes," she responded shortly before she turned and continued to move up the stairs as her usual pace.

Celestine stood silently by the door as he watched the others start off and then sighed softly, glancing around a little. He looked up when the lights suddenly dimmed after Ishta snapped her fingers. He assumed the glow in the chandelier must be some kind of magic. He looked around for a few moments before glancing over to Aamori since she seemed to be the most comfortable in this setting. "...Where should we go?" he asked quietly. He probably looked about as uncomfortable as he felt, and right now he felt like he shouldn't even be standing in this place. He definitely wasn't used to this sort of thing at all, and this place...was a lot more fancy than Aamori's training center. He half felt like he should take his shoes off or something, but then again, he wasn't sure his feet were much cleaner.... This place was pretty much spotless, and it was really starting to make him feel a little grimy standing in the middle of it. As much as he hated bathing...he was seriously thinking about scrubbing himself when he got a chance.

Nero stood silently listening after he had been happy enough with what he had managed to see. He didn't care too much that he couldn't properly use his eyes at the moment but there were still some things that you wanted to see sometimes. He of course couldn't see who this Ishta woman was speaking to when she said for 'you two' to come with her. For all he knew that could have meant Kyran and Nanashi... then again... Nanashi wasn't really walking on his own he guessed so it would be pointless to refer to him and Kyran as two when Kyran was doing all of the work. He had his answers soon enough because the woman had added Kyran at the end and Kanone had given him a nudge. He started forward almost instantly and could judge just how much farther ahead Ishta had gotten by the sound of her boots. He hadn't looked at her closely enough to see her shoes so he had no real idea what Kanone meant when he asked how she moved so fast in those 'crazy' shoes. He kept silent while Kanone tried to defend the reason they were traveling slower than her and absently shook his head a little. He really hated to be the reason for this slower movement. There wouldn't have been any problems at all if that troublemaker hadn't decided to dump paint on him. His ears twitched a little at the sound of the snap and even with his eyes shut he registered the change in brightness. He put everything together easily enough after hearing the woman tell him to use his eyes. He didn't hesitate to open them but it did take him a few brief moments to focus his eyes. Once he was sure he was alright he glanced to Kanone momentarily and then started forward to the stairs to follow after the woman. He didn't really want to fall behind or give her any reason to be more irritable then she already seemed though that wasn't out of the goodness of his heart... he just didn't think he could keep his mouth shut completely around a bitchy light dragon.

Kyran listened to Ishta when she started speaking and refrained from giving a reason for why the group had grown since they first started out when she said never mind. He wasn't surprised to hear her say that she didn't have time to give them a detailed tour. She must have a busy schedule on a normal day. He nodded his head when he heard her add for him to follow as well. He was a bit surprised that the woman still remembered his name... he had only met her once before and didn't exactly think she had the same bonus as he did; someone who talked about him. Hikari brought Ishta up a few times so the name was rather fresh in his memory and it had been over a month since he had last seen Ishta. He wasted little time following after her since she appeared to be in a hurry, though he did glance back to see how Kanone and Nero were fairing. He may have had extra weight but he could still see perfectly and had a long stride so keeping up with Ishta wasn't that difficult, not to mention he could get started walking easier than the other two. He of course paused whenever she did. He felt a little bad that Kanone and Nero couldn't keep her pace but was relieved that she did attempt to make it easier on Nero. The dimmed light should be gentle on a dark dragons eyes... or at least he imagined it would be. Seeing as Nero did open his eyes and start forward without Kanone's nudging him it appeared to be true. He started after Ishta once again after seeing that Nero could indeed see alright with the lights dimmed like they were.

LaRae watched as Kyran started off after Ishta and briefly thought about following but refrained. She wanted to be with Nanashi in case he needed anything or just wanted company but she wasn't sure she was supposed to follow. Ishta hadn't said for her to come too so she was almost afraid to follow for the fear of the woman laying into her about why she came too. Not... that she really thought Ishta would do that... but she didn't know the woman other then the first time they met, very briefly, at the entrance of the festival. For a few moments hesitation probably showed on her face because she had wanted to go with them but thought she shouldn't. She could always see him later after he was already in a bed and comfortable... it wasn't like he was going anywhere after all.

Reyes watched as Nero started to leave with Kanone's help. He didn't really look back at them until the lights dimmed. He was curious as to how that happened but was at least glad to see the dimmed lights appeared to be less harsh on their eyes. He hadn't seen what Ishta had done but either way he was kind of thankful for the dimmed lights. He lifted his hand and slowly pulled his glasses down his nose, making sure the lights really were safe enough and then removed the glasses all together. He looked at the glasses for a moment and then lifted them back up to set on top of his head like a headband. He didn't have pockets or anything so there wasn't exactly any other place to put them that didn't require he hold them the entire time. Well... that wasn't true. He could give them to Shen to hold but that would take Shen coming out of his shadow so that he could reach the bags that were strapped to the harness Shen wore. He turned slightly to look at Celestine when he heard him ask where they should go. He hadn't been sure who he had been addressing but seeing that he had looked at Aamori he gathered he had asked her. He wouldn't have really known where to go anyway so he didn't really have a good answer anyway.

Aamori kept quiet herself while the group kind of dwindled down to four, plus the canines. The group seemed so small now... and frankly it was a little weird watching everyone leave and them being stuck in the foyer of a palace with no direction to go. Had she not been used to nice places she might have found this extremely unnerving. She hadn't even thought about where they should go until she heard Celestine ask her. She looked over at him for a few brief moments. She really wasn't sure. She guessed the first thing she probably would have done was gone and found the bedrooms or something so that they could take off their weapons and extra bagage. They really didn't need to be armed and walking around a palace... Then of course maybe they needed to find some place for the canines? She wasn't sure... Hikari had said that they were allowed in the palace but she wasn't sure how other people would respond to such large animals in a palace and the canines weren't exactly regular pets and they were kind of creepy at first sight. She sighed softly. "...I'm not entirely sure to be honest." She admitted. "We should probably unload our weapons and stuff first." She told him. "We really don't need to wander around her armed like we're invading and you and I both, clearly, have weapons on us." She paused. "I'm just not exactly sure where the rooms are that we can use... maybe we should find someone who has time and can direct us." She then glanced to Zale, Nobu and Esen. "Then of course... I'm not completely sure they should roam freely in here." She paused. "I heard what Hika-- ...er.... Selenity said... but they aren't your average dog and they're big..." She sighed quietly. "We need somewhere for them to be too... some place where they can't cause any trouble... or well... where Zale can't cause any trouble, rather."

Kanone glanced up to the ceiling when the lights dimmed and then turned his attention of to Nero after Ishta had told him to use his eyes. He watched as Nero opened his eyes and tried to get them to adjust before he offered him a slight smile when he glanced over to him and then started to move after him briskly. "Well, nice to have your eyes back?" he asked lightly, keeping his voice soft since he had already noticed when he called after Ishta that this room at lest wasn't beyond echoes. He made sure to keep pace with Nero easily, assuming that he was still supposed to come with him since he was kind of splattered all over with paint as well.

Ishta continued up the first flight of stairs and onto the landing where she had to turn to walk a few feet along to the left before tackling the second flight of stairs. She glanced back once just to make sure that she wasn't losing anyone and then continued to move up the stairs to the next floor. It really hadn't been very hard for her to remember Kyran's name, especially since Selenity had mentioned it when telling her to show him to the bedroom. She remembered his face, as well as the name, even if it wasn't right off the top of her head, the small refresher had helped. The next hallway was similar to the others in the palace; long, white, and with an arched ceiling that had several smaller chandeliers handing in the center of the ceiling between the archways. As they moved further in she paused near the beginning of the hallway and pushed down a small leaver on the wall to dim the lights on the hallway so that the dark dragon wouldn't be blinded in here. These light still gave off bright white lights, though they didn't look quite as natural as the ones downstairs, they could still be pretty bright. There were doors to either side of the hallway directly across from one another, and spaced decently far apart. The hallway was divided into three sections by archways, and there were four doorways in each section, two on each side.

Once they were on this hallway, she moved to the first room to the left and opened the door before stepping inside the room. It was a large, rather extravagant bedroom with it's own chandelier (well, practically every room in this place has it's own chandelier) and two queen sized beds, both covered with red quilts and white sheets with red pillowcases and golden head and base boards. The room itself, like the others, was all white, but the interior's accents were all a shade of red. From the position at the doorway, the two beds were set with their headboards against the right wall, and matching night stands were set up on each side of each bed. Across the room on the left wall was a large dresser easily big enough for two people to stand at at once, with a large mirror mounted ont he wall beside it. On the back wall was a large window that opened as a doorway out into a balcony overlooking one of that gardens. The window was lined with bold red curtains with small golden tassels hanging from the edges, and beside it at nearly a right angle to the full-length mirror was a folding screen that one could change behind if they wished for privacy from their potential room mate. The screen depicted a lightly colored phoenix stretching across the cream colored canvas. "He can stay in here, as can whoever would like to room with him. Normally the girls rooms are on the right. It would be nice if you could all manage to share rooms, it leaves less of a mess for the maids to clean up...not to mention, we only have so many rooms. If you would, you may inform your comrades where the rooms are on your way back down, if they have not found their way up here by then. If you need anything else, flag down a maid, there should be a few on this floor somewhere."

With that, she turned away and stepped out of the room again before motioning for Nero and Kanone to follow her again. "Come on," she said shortly before she started to continue further down this hallway. She was sincerely hoping that she ran into a maid on this floor.... She didn't want to have to show them to the baths, get their towels for them, and go find them something to change into all on her own; that would be far too time consuming. She still had other things to be doing, and for one, she still had the Princess to take care of.

Celestine sighed softly when Aamori responded that she wasn't sure. Well, he didn't know why he had hoped that she might know better than he did. She had never been here before either, to his knowledge. He nodded a little when she said that they should unload their weapons and then glanced down to his belt before tilting his head a little. "...Well...wasn't Ishta showing Kyran where the rooms are?" he asked, "...I would assume the rooms we will be using would be around there somewhere...." He glanced down to the canines again when Aamori mentioned them and absently reached to stroke Esen's head for a moment before reaching for Nobu's. He smiled weakly for a moment when she mentioned finding a place where Zale couldn't cause any trouble. "...Well...maybe it won't be much of a problem...though if Zale gets too rambunctious, he may just have to stay outside." He finally moved a little closer to Aamori and further from the door before reaching to pat Zale on the head as well. "...So...do you think we should...go that way?" he asked unsurely as he pointed in the general direction that the others had gone.

Nero didn't bother glancing back to Kanone when he heard him ask if it was nice to have his eyes back. "...That goes without saying." He responded quietly. He was glad to be able to see where he was going again and navigate himself without having to rely on someone elses help but some tiny part of him was kind of glad that for that kind of short amount of time when he couldn't use his eyes he didn't have to look at any light dragons or bright objects. He kept quiet the rest of the walk which wasn't unlike him and glanced around a little while they walked. He may not have wanted to be in the opposing clans palace but while he was here he figured he may as well pay attention to where he was going so he didn't wind up lost or turned around if he ever wandered around on his own. He had only ever been in a palace a couple of times and it had been his own clans so this was quite different. He was a little pleased to see that Ishta was taking his eyes into consideration as they progressed and turned down the next set of lights as well. That was kind of nice but he was pretty sure any light dragon would do what Hikari said when it came to him just for the sake of not pissing off the princess. He paused of course when Ishta stopped to let Kyran into one of the rooms. He didn't bother moving from where he had stopped until after Ishta had stepped out of the room and motioned for him and Kanone to follow her again. Now that he knew where the bedrooms were he knew he would have an escape at least. So long as the rooms could do really dark even during the day he would be happy.

Kyran followed behind Ishta, keeping pace with her, or at least a short distance away from her so he wasn't right on top of her. He paused briefly when she finally came to a door and started to open it. He stood just in the doorway for a moment after she had opened the door and stepped inside. The room was pretty fancy but that wasn't the least bit surprising to him. He did finally move from the doorway and into the room after she had said that Nanashi could stay in here. He nodded his head after listening to her speak. "We can all share the rooms and I will let the others know. Thank you, Ishta." He told her and bowed his head very slightly. He watched her leave the room and then turned his attention back to the room. He started over to the farther of the two beds and paused when he was beside it. He made sure he still had a good grip on Nanashi before he leaned forward a little more and then released one of his legs so that he could pull back the bedding. He then reached for Nanashi's leg once again before straightening up a little and turning around so that he could set him down on the bed. He knelt down a little, just enough that there wouldn't be any real distance for Nanashi to drop from his back. He released his legs one a time and then stood up and looked back at him. He had done this many times before so he was kind of used to it. Now that he was facing the bed he knelt down once again, this time so that he could start removing Nanashi's boots. He wasn't paying attention to whether or not Nanashi was waking up so he really didn't notice if at any point he had indeed woken, he just continued removing his boots and then set them off to the side before starting to stand up again.

Aamori nodded her head very slightly when Celestine asked that wasn't Ishta showing Kyran where the rooms were. She didn't know the building but assumed that the rooms they could use would possibly be around wherever Kyran had taken Nanashi. She just wasn't entirely sure that all of the rooms for guests were in the same area or if there was somewhere special to take Nanashi since he was recovering. She glanced down at Zale briefly when Celestine said that if he was too rambunctious he may just have to stay outside. She nodded again. "I'd like him to behave, indefinitely." She said as she cast her glance back down to him just after Celestine had patted him. She lifted her head and glanced in the direction that Celestine pointed when he asked if she thought that they should go that way. That would probably be better then continuing to stand by the door. "It probably wouldn't hurt." She responded. They had been told to make themselves at home so it wouldn't hurt anything to follow after them. She continued to stand where she was for a moment before she started to head closer towards the stairs. It was probably better to actually start following after them than to just stand there talking about it.

((Oh...my....god.... I totally lost that entire post that I worked on.... I hit submit and it told be it couldn't be processed and to hit the back button, but it never reloaded... *curses like a sailor* Oh well, screw the part with Sri, I'm not retyping that right now...and Kanone...he's not important. All he did was pat Nero on the shoulder and make a wise crack about Ishta being a 'friendly' person. This may be a little more crap than I Like, but I don't have time or patience to retype 4-6 hours worth of post.))

Nanashi had already successfully fallen asleep on Kyran's back, and appeared completely oblivious to anything and everything, at least until they got into the bedroom and one of his legs dropped. Once his leg was dangling he started to crack his eyes open a little, though before he was completely with it, he was already being laid back on the bed. He released his grip on Kyran's neck, but wasn't quite prepared to sit up, so he was starting to fall back as soon as he was released. He did manage to catch himself on his elbows and started to open his mouth to thank Kyran, at least until he knelt and started tugging on his boot strings. He blinked and then felt his face flush a deep shade of scarlet. It was bad enough having Kyran carry him up here, he didn't need him taking off his shoes for him as well. How many times were they going to have to go through humiliating things like this? He started to open his mouth to tell Kyran that he could get the boots himself, but he couldn't even find his voice at the moment. He just ducked his head a little as his ears fell back when he felt the second boot leave his foot. By the time Kyran was standing again, Nanashi's face could almost easily rival his hair in how red it was. Rather than speak, he just pulled his feet up onto the bed and tried to get himself positioned properly. He thought about removing his coat as well, but that was too much of a hassle...not to mention it was the only thing keeping his grimy bloodstained clothes from actually touching the bed.

Ishta led the two down to the end of the hall and then turned to the right. The hallway branched off in either direction, but to the left was nothing but a spiraling staircase leading up to one of the towers. This hallway was similar to the other in design only there were no doors lining the walls and on the left it branched onto yet another hall after the first arch. There were two large blue double doors at the very end of this hallway, blocking it off. Shortly after she had turned the corner and started down this hall she heard voices in the other and sighed. "Finally," she muttered as she moved forward, just as two maids rounded the corner. Their conversation stopped and their smiles faced when they saw Ishta and her shadows. "Take these two to the baths and take care of them. I have other things I have to get done," she said simply. Rather than move forward the maids just stood there staring past her at the paint covered dark dragon like two rabbits cornered by a fox. Ishta waited for a few moments before she snapped impatiently. "Oh what is wrong with you two!?"

There was an almost irritable sigh from behind the wall as a third maid pushed around the other two to get past them. "Move, I'll do it... Not like I haven't done enough of your jobs today...." she muttered under her breath as she passed them. Nero might recognize the girl from earlier had he paid much attention to the messenger girl at the door. She was still wearing her hair up in the clip so that her ringlets hung over her shoulders, though now it was decorated with a deep purple maid's cat with a white boarder. Technically, she probably looked the most like your traditional maid of the three. All of them were wearing the traditional maid uniform with the short puffy sleeves, low neck, and fluffy bottom over a petticoat, but hers was the only one even close to black. The other two maids, along with every other maid in the castle were dressed in pastel pink dresses with white aprons, white socks, and white Mary Janes. Firra's dress on the other hand, had been dyed deep purple that could almost be considered black, except for the white laze around the bottom, neck, and sleeves. Her apron, like the others, was white, though her socks were black, knee-highs, and she wore black Mary Janes, with a two inch heel. She looked a little surprised once she got around and saw what she was leading, though she still cracked a bit of a smile on her otherwise emotionless face. It wasn't every day you were cleaning up someone who had taken a bath in paint. "...This way, please," she said simply as she turned back fearlessly on the two and started down the hallway toward the doors.

Ishta sighed once Firra stepped forward and decided to take up the job. She still gave the other two maids an irritated look. "Thank you, Firra," she said simply before turning back around. "Go with her...and don't give her any trouble," she told them, directing the last bit at Nero with a sharp glance. Of course he hadn't been giving anyone trouble, but she wanted to make sure he knew it wasn't going to be tolerated if he did so. With that said, she turned herself and started back down the hall the way that they had come, intent of returning downstairs to go have a few words with Selenity and send someone to pick up the hoodlum who decided to cause the trouble.

Celestine smiled weakly when Aamori said that she would like for Zale to behave indefinitely. "Yes, I guess that would be best..." he agreed quietly. He nodded a little when she said that it wouldn't hurt to follow them upstairs, though he still didn't offer to move until she started forward, then he almost timidly fell in step behind her. It was probably a little more apparent how shy he could be when he was in a place like this. He really didn't know what to do with himself, so it was easier to just...follow someone who seemed like they might. At the moment, Aamori seemed the best candidate for following anywhere of the four of them.

Kyran stared down at Nanashi for a few moments after he had noticed that he was awake and then watched him reposition himself on the bed. He had noticed how red his face was but chose not to even comment about it. He could guess Nanashi found this embarrassing, or something akin to that. He didn't really find it embarrassing himself, at least not any more. He had done this a few times before so he was kind of used to it already, not to mention he really didn't mind taking care of other people... it was just a little annoying that it always seemed to be Nanashi, by no fault of his own. He sighed softly and was kind of glad to see Nanashi could still move some on his own. At least that meant he wasn't going to have to embarrass him more by doing all of the work for him. He did reach for the covers however and pull them up and over Nanashi. He just let them go when he reached his chest so that it was a little less like he was tucking him in. "How're you feeling?" He asked seeing as he was awake for the time being at least. "Do you need anything while I'm here?" He added. He thought Nanashi might just go to sleep after he left but he wasn't sure if he might not want something to drink or something else. It probably wouldn't be easy for Nanashi to hunt down a maid on his own to he wasn't opposed to helping him out if he needed anything else right now.

Nero continued following after Ishta without a word. He was usually quiet to begin with but he thought it was probably better to just keep his mouth shut indefinitely around Ishta... at least for the time being. He glanced around a little as they walked and paused when Ishta did. He looked at the maids that had rounded the corner and couldn't help feeling partly, if not entirely to blame for the sudden change in the maids moods. He wasn't surprised to see that the maids didn't budge after Ishta told them to tend to him and Kanone. In their place he probably wouldn't have moved very much either... especially since they were nothing more than mere maids. He was a little surprised though when he saw the third maid push by the other two. He did recognize her and was a little surprised that she was a maid. She hadn't delivered that message to Hikari dressed like that so he hadn't suspected her to be a maid. Then of course the choice of colors for her uniform were a little odd considering the other two had such light colored uniforms. He continued to look her over at least until she had said to follow. He glanced over to Ishta when he heard her say to go with the maid and said not to give her any trouble. Of course that went without saying. The last thing he needed to do was give trouble to any light dragon in this palace. He merely bowed his head shortly and then proceeded to follow after the maid, the one with enough guts to lend a hand to a paint covered dark dragon and for all intents and purposes, his side-kick.

Aamori may have been a little unsure of where exactly they should go in such a place but she wasn't uncomfortable in the setting. She just hoped that they didn't end up going some place they weren't supposed to. Hikari had just kind of left without any real boundaries for them so she wasn't sure what rooms or area's were off limits and she certainly wouldn't know what those places were until it was too late. Finding the guestrooms though shouldn't be that difficult and so long as they found the same ones that Kyran and Nanashi had been taken to then there shouldn't be any problems. She glanced back briefly when she reached the stairs, just to make sure that everyone was following. She wasn't sure she was surprised to see Celestine right behind her. She didn't think he had ever been in a place like this before and she was picking up on the change in him, the shyness and the uncertainty. She continued looking behind her long enough to see Reyes and then LaRae bringing up the rear. She wasn't really surprised to see Reyes had chosen to follow behind Celestine. She had noticed how she seemed a little drawn to him of everyone other than her own cousin. She finally turned her eyes back to where she was going and continued on up the stairs to the landing and then the way she thought the others had gone. Even if she managed to get turned around at some point she was pretty sure that one of the canines could sniff out where to go, Nobu in particular shouldn't have trouble finding Kyran.

Reyes happily followed after Celestine once he had started after Aamori. He wouldn't have minded getting closer to Celestine but that was almost difficult to do when there were two canines with him at all times. Talk about good protection for your own personal space. He settled for following in as close a proximity as the canines could allow without practically being right on top of Celestine. He wasn't quite as uncomfortable in the setting as Celestine seemed to be, but that was only because he was pretty outgoing and he had been in some ritzy looking places before... though... nothing really compared to this palace.

Nanashi laid back on the pillow carefully once he managed to get himself turned around and then sighed as he closed his eyes for a moment, though they opened again as soon as Kyran asked him how he was feeling. "...I'm f—" he started though he cut himself off with a heavy sighed. "...I'm tired...and my head still hurts," he responded quietly. He guessed saying he was fine was pretty pointless considering that everyone knew already that he wasn't, and he didn't feel like getting lectured again. He shook his head weakly when Kyran asked him if he needed anything while he was here. "...No...thank you...I'm alright." Of course he wasn't going to ask Kyran to waste any more of his time on him considering he had already carried him up here as well as removed his shoes for him. He probably could have stood a drink, but to be perfectly honest...he was too tired to try to drink it right now no matter how thirsty he was, so he might try to find himself one later.

Kanone wasn't sure whether he should be amused or annoyed at the way the other two maids were eying Nero and looking like they were afraid to blink, though he did sigh almost irritably when Ishta told Nero not to give the maid any trouble. He shook his head a little and started forward after the other maid once she had started away, and wasn't too surprised to hear two sets of footsteps practically scurrying down the hallway behind them. "Well...you certainly know how to charm the ladies...," he teased quietly.

Firra half smiled when she heard the wind dragon's comment and glanced over her shoulder for a moment. "Don't mind them...they're tend to be a little useless...." She sighed softly, "By the way, my name is Firra. If you need something in the future feel free to ask for me." She paused at the large double doors and pushed down on the golden handle before pushing against the door, though it clearly took her a bit of effort to open it. She leaned her shoulder into it and shoved with a grunt before it actually moved, though once it was disconnected from the other door it opened easily enough. She stood by the door silently, waiting for the other two to enter before she pushed the door closed behind them. The door opened up into wide room, though it was not as large and one might expect for such a large pair of doors. Along the right wall were four lavatory stalls with pale blue doors, and along the right were three evenly spaced sinks with two soap dispensers between them. At the back wall just beside another large blue door was white wood cabinet, which was where she moved once she had the door closed again. Upon her pulling it open one could easily see that it was stuffed to the brim with body towels, hand towels, and wash clothes. She quickly started top pull out two of each, stacking them neatly on her arm according to size.

Celestine remained silent as he followed close behind Aamori. He was starting to feel like a little kid one would expect to see clinging to their mother's skirt while walking though a strange place, though he knew the urge was absolutely ridiculous and of course didn't act on it at all. He felt strange enough without making himself look weird to everyone. He barely seemed to notice Reyes's close proximity to him as he tailed Aamori up the stairs, though at the moment he probably wouldn't have cared too much. He knew one thing for certain, he definitely didn't want to wander alone in this place. Claustrophobic as he was, being in a place this hugs wasn't much more of a comfort. He had the strange feeling he could get lost in here and wander around for days without being able to find his way back out though...again he knew deep down that was ridiculous considering how many people there likely were in here, not to mention there were bound to be windows and he did have wings. His ears twitched slightly when he heard the familiar clicking heels up ahead and he glanced up to the second flight of stairs, tilted his head a little, and not surprised to see Ishta coming back down them again. Of course...he knew they could ask her where they were supposed to go, but he wasn't about to speak up and talk to that woman. He was a little afraid she might snap at him.

Naturally with her brisk walk, it didn't take Ishta very long to get back to the stairwell and down to he landing, though she paused when she noticed the group heading up the stairs. Rather than try to tackle the stairs with all of them coming up she merely stepped to the side to give them room to get up them, though she still crossed her arms almost impatiently as she waited. Fortunately, she didn't look quite so irritated now that she was free to move on to another chore that didn't involve her doing the servant's job. She may have been the princess's closest friend, but she still got a little annoyed when she wound up doing the maid's job rather than her own as Captain.

Kyran was kind of glad to hear Nanashi cut himself off when he started to say he was fine and then gave a proper answer to the question. He nodded his head slightly in acknowledgment and then sighed softly. “I think you’re going to have a while to rest while we’re here so try and take advantage of that.” He paused. “This place is pretty big, so don’t go wandering around until you’re feeling well enough to handle all of the walking.” He nodded his head again when Nanashi said that he didn’t need anything. “We’ll try and check on you periodically… so if you need anything just let whoever checks in on you know.” He paused. “Don’t be afraid to ask.” He added. He figured that if it weren’t him checking on Nanashi it would most likely be LaRae, possibly even Hikari if she could manage to pull herself away from being the Princess long enough to do something like that. He looked down at Nanashi once more. “Have a good rest.” He told him before he turned away from the bed and started to walk towards the door. He was going to have to go look for the others next and show them to the rooms, as well as tell them they were going to need to share as few rooms as possible. He figured he should remove his blades before doing that so that he wasn’t wandering the palace armed. He thought briefly about sharing this room with Nanashi since Ishta had said that the girl’s rooms were usually on the right… but he wasn’t sure if it might not be better for Nanashi to have his own room since he was recovering. If it was just him in the room then no one had to worry about waking him up or disturbing him while he was trying to rest. As soon as he reached the door he started out into the hall, since the door had been left open and then turned back to grab the handle to start pulling it shut.

Nero glanced to Kanone briefly when he heard him tease. He didn’t even bother responding to that though the thought did cross his mind but he didn’t want to say anything that could be misinterpreted by the maid… granted, this one didn’t seem quite as ready to scale a fifty foot wall with nothing more than her hands and feet just to get away from him as the other two did but he’d rather be safe than sorry. He glanced back to the maid when she said not to mind the other two and then gave her name. He wasn’t going to ask for anything if he could help it but he would at least try and remember her name if something ever came up. He watched quietly once Firra got to the over-sized doors and started trying to open them. Part of him honestly thought of helping since she did seem to struggle with the door a little but he refrained from doing anything to help. Once the door was open and they could step inside he did and glanced around a little. Nothing too special in his opinion… it looked like a multi person bathroom. He was kind of curious to see what the actual bath looked like, mostly to see if it compared to the ones they used in Kairava. He likely wouldn’t say it aloud but those were some really nice baths. He returned his eyes to watching Firra, mostly waiting for her to finish gathering the towels and such so that they could continue.

Aamori looked up the stairs herself when she heard the clicking heels. That at least lead her to believe they were going the right way. She hurried up the steps since Ishta had stepped to the side to allow them to pass. She thought briefly of asking her how much further they needed to go but was kind of uncomfortable with the idea. She could deal with some people but Ishta wasn’t someone she wanted to mess with or stand the chance of getting on her bad side. In a way she kind of reminded her of Hisako… but well… Hisako was her friend and she knew how to deal with her and Ishta… was… so not her friend. She would sooner ask one of the canines for assistance then ask Ishta. She sighed quietly once she reached the top of the stairs and continued a little ways so that everyone else could make it to the top.

Nanashi nodded his head again weakly in understanding when Kyran told him that this place was big and not to wander around unless he felt well enough to handle the walking. That seemed to be a given seeing the outside of the place and how tall it was. he didn't even want to think about the number of stairs they were going to have to climb to get around anywhere. "...Alright," he responded softly when he told him that they would try to check in on him periodically. "...I'll be alright...don't worry about it...." He really hated to trouble everyone else, but if they did come in and he needed something, he guessed he would have to try to suck it up and ask. After all, he couldn't very well fend for himself today. He smiled weakly when Kyran told him to have a good rest. "...Thank you, Kyran..." he responded softly as he started away. He then sighed softly and tried to settle back against the pillow a bit, closing his tired eyes once again. Even in such a nice room and on a soft bed, he feared that he was going to have trouble sleeping. Even with how tired he was yesterday's events still hadn't escaped him, and being alone certainly didn't help very much. It wasn't hard to go to sleep, he was far too exhausted to fight that, though that only meant that his mind was free to remind him of what had happened yesterday again and again and again if he couldn't wake himself up...and that by no means added up to a peaceful sleep.

Kanone smiled slightly when the maid introduced herself and then nodded a little. "Oh, that's a nice name," he commented as he followed after her. "I'm Kanone...this is Nero." Of course Kanone had absolutely no trouble talking to the maid as openly as anyone else, though that should have been easy to expect with him. He really had no reason to be nervous around these people, even though he did feel a little strange being in such a nice place. He watched at Firra struggled to open the bathroom door and also felt the urge to go open it for her, though she got it before he really got himself up there. Once the door was open he glanced around a bit and half smiled. "Nice...."

Firra glanced back as Kanone introduced them and then nodded her head a little in acknowledgment. After she had gotten them into the bathroom and gathered the towels she moved over to the other blue door and pressed down on the handle and pushed against the door, again having a bit of trouble with the heavy wood.
Kanone moved a little closer and started to reach out toward the door, "Here..." he offered, though he paused when she shook her head.
"Please don't touch the door...I don't want to clean paint off of it later," she told him as she shoved against the door again until it opened.
"Oh yeah...haha...sorry."

Firra sighed once the door was open and glanced back to Kanone again. "It's fine...thanks anyway," she said simply. She stepped a little further into the room and allowed enough room for them to come inside. These baths was a bit more fancy than the restroom itself...mostly because one would be spending more time in this room. The bathroom was much larger than the lavatory, and could almost compare with the baths in Kairava, though the bath itself was not quite as big. Near the entrance was a sort of white wood cubbyspace divided into several sections where one could stack their clothes while they bathed. There was also a folding screen much like the ones in Kairava. The screen was pale blue with decorative white and silver designs running across it, and a silver frame with hooks handing behind it where the towels could be hung once they ran out of use. The tub was made into the floor and roughly the size of a small pool with lights illuminating the sides. The floor around it was covered in soft blue carpet so that there would be no slipping and sliding, though the carpet stopped roughly a foot from the edge of the tub and was replaced with the same stone that lined the tub, which was white and gray, though it was not polished to be entirely smooth, almost like the surface one would expect to find around a pool. Several shampoos and soaps were lined up along the edge of the bath near the wall across from the steps leading down into the bath itself. At the far wall were there three showers complete with pale blue doors for those who wanted to be quick or preferred their privacy while bathing, and there were also shampoos and soaps in each of the showers. The only problem with the room was that it was lit by a slightly smaller version of one of the chandeliers in the foyer that kept the room brightly illuminated as well as kept the room's temperature warm and regulated. Firra moved further into the bathroom and made her way over to the bath, handing the towels over the railing that was set up for them by the stairs before she turned back to look at the two. "I will try to find you something else to wear.... If you would, leave your clothes in here when you were finished and I will...see what I can do about getting the paint out of them.... In the meantime, I will leave you a change of clothes in the next room. If you need anything else, let me know. If not I will let you continue."
Kanone smiled slightly at Firra as he watched her after taking a peek around and then listened to her. "I have clothes with me..." he informed her.
"Very well then, I will bring one change of clothes...."

Celestine noticed that Aamori clearly had no desire to ask Ishta for directions either, so like he he practically scurried up the stairs after her in complete silence, though his eyes cast down to the canines for a moment as he also moved out of the stairway and out of the way for the others to get up onto the landing.

Ishta watched the group as they continued to move up the stairs and then sighed softly. "The guest rooms are straight up these stairs along the entire hallway.. Ladies rooms are the six on the right, mens are on the left," she told them simply since she half assumed that was where they were going. "Your friend is in the first room on the left." With that, she started past them and started to move down the stairs swiftly, turning sharply as soon as she reached the edge of the stairs so that she could head back down the hallway that she had come from originally, intent upon heading back to the lower levels.

Kyran nodded his head and uttered "You're welcome." before shutting the door completely. He stood in the hall for a few moments before stepping away from the door. He thought about going straight to find the others but decided to offload his weapons first. He took a couple steps down the hall to the next door on the left and opened the door slowly. He stuck his head in first, mostly to make sure that there wasn't anyone else inside. After making sure the room was empty he started inside and didn't bother really focusing on anything in the room. It was supposed to be identical to the room Nanashi was in so he didn't really need to look around a whole lot. He did look for a free space in the room that was kind of out of the way and then started removing the belt that his blades were connected to and set them down on the ground. Once they were removed he started back towards the hall so that he could go locate the others.

Aamori glanced back towards Ishta when she heard her speak. She listened and then smiled slightly. "Thank you." She responded simply and then looked down the hall. She turned and looked down the hall after she saw Ishta leave and the others had gotten up to the landing. She then started down the hall a little, at least until she had seen Kyran start out of the second door on the left. She assumed that either Ishta was wrong about the room that Nanashi had been put in or Kyran had already left Nanashi. She glanced towards the doors on the right and then looked back towards LaRae and then Reyes. She didn't mind that the rooms were gender separated, she just wondered how many beds were in a room and how many people could fit in one room.

Kyran looked up and towards the others when he finally noticed them and was kind of relieved that he wasn't going to have to go looking for them. He started towards them a little, fully prepared to let them know what Ishta had told him. "I assume you all are here for the rooms..." He paused. "We're supposed to share rooms, use as little of them as possible." He told them. "The rooms have two large beds and could easily fit four people." He paused. "Oh, girls on the right and boys on the left." He added lastly. He hadn't known that Ishta had spoken to them before he saw them so of course he repeated everything he knew.

Nero shook his head lightly when Firra declined help from Kanone on opening the next over-sized doors. He hadn't really thought Kanone got that much paint on him so he probably could have helped with the door a lot easier than if he himself had gone up there help. Just because of that comment he half thought about just brushing his whole body up against the door but of course he refrained. He remained silent and even after they had entered the the main bath area. He did pause inside and try to take a good look around but wound up squinting his eyes a bit while he looked around. The bath itself looked quite nice in comparison to Kairava and he did notice that they had showers unlike Kairava. Well, Kairava had showers in some sense of the word... they had the waterfall but here they actually had showers. He glanced back to Firra finally when she started to say that she would try and find them something else to wear and to their clothes in here when they were done. He would love to have the paint removed from the clothes he had on but doubted that was going to happen. At least not from the shirt. He sighed almost heavily. "No light colors if you can help it." He said without looking over at her. It should go without saying that he really didn't want to have to wear light clan colors. He wished that like Kanone he had clothes with him... but he really didn't think about it when he went to the festival... hell, no one did. He sighed again and started to head for the folding screen already in the process of removing his shirt. He didn't care whether or not Firra had left the room yet, he was getting out of the paint covered shirt. He was pretty sure he probably looked even funnier without the shirt on. If the paint hadn't managed to soak through his shirt to his skin he probably had a paint-free chest and back and in some small sense he kind of wished that his back was covered in paint since he had all those scars there and without a shirt they couldn't be hidden.

Celestine watched as Ishta continued down the stairs and disappeared out of sight before he continued after Aamori. He watched as Kyran came out of the second room and approached them before tilting his head a little after listening to him explain a little more in depth about the rooms. He sighed softly upon hearing that they had to share and then glanced back up to Kyran again. "...Who are you sharing with?" he asked, his voice a lot quieter than was normal for him. He still wasn't quite over this place, though he was sure as he got used to it he would get back to acting like normal. He assumed by being told that the girls rooms were on the right that meant that they weren't going to be sharing co-ed, not that he wanted them to be anyway since he preferred sleeping alone or in a room with another guy. Frankly, even here he thought he would be more comfortable sleeping outside, but he knew that likely wouldn't go over very well. He just didn't want to get stuck in a room with Kanone. Kanone's snoring might not have been loud enough to annoy most people, but it most certainly was loud enough to drive him insane with his sensitive hearing.

Firra nodded her head slightly when Nero pointed out that he didn't want light colors. "I assumed as much...I will see what I can do," she said with a soft sigh. She hoped to god he wasn't going to be so picky that she had to dye the things for him. She didn't mind doing it to her own clothes, but for someone else's most likely temporary outfit, it seemed a little ridiculous. She guessed she would just have to find the darkest thing she could manage and go with it. As soon as she noticed Nero starting to remove his shirt she turned away and started to move toward the door briskly, not particularly wanting to be standing in there just in case he decided to drop pants as well. After all, this was the boy's bath...she had just come from cleaning the girl's (which was a lot more showy and pink in the decoration department) with the other two maids when they were caught, so she wasn't even sure she was supposed to be in there, not that she cared...she was doing as she was told. She closed the door tightly behind her on the way out and then made her way over to the other set of doors before pushing them open and starting down the hallway that she had come off of with the other maids, heading down the short expanse and stopping just a little before a set of pastel pink doors which matched the blue ones she had fought with earlier. About midway down the hall she stopped and moved over tho the wall before pulling on an appealingly decorative ring on the wall to slide back a panel that led back into the servant's passages. There were stairs past this point that were not so extravagant since they were well hidden from sight, and it was faster to get around the palace using the passages rather than running all over creation to get back downstairs. Once inside she slid the panel shut firmly so that it looked like any other wall, and then started to turn to hurry down the uncomfortably narrow hallway and down the spiraling staircase. At least things were relatively well lit back here, so seeing wasn't really an issue.

Kanone smiled slightly at Firra again when she said that she would see what she could do about getting him dark clothes. She certainly was accommodating at least. "Well, thanks again," he called after her when she started hurrying to leave the room. He laughed softly once the door was closed. "Geez, Nero, strip in front of her why don't—" his voice trailed off when he actually turned to look at Nero and saw the mass of ugly scars all over his back. He fell silent almost instantly then, and couldn't help but stare for a few moments, or at least until he caught himself, then he shook his head a little. Of course he wanted to ask him what in the world had happened to him, but for the time being he kept his mouth shut...mostly because he had no idea what to say. Finally he started over in that general direction as well, slinging his blade from his shoulder and then setting his bag down beside near the little cubby. He then started to pull his own shirt from over his head and fought his wings out of it before putting it down inside out so that he wouldn't get paint on the floor, and then pulled his hair tie from his hair, letting it fall around his shoulders. He shook his head a little as his hair tickled his shoulders and then kicked out of his shoes as well, sighing softly when he saw tiny flecks of paint spattered on them as well. He hadn't really looked himself over that well, though he knew he had paint on him...he just hadn't checked to see how bad. It seemed his pants had gotten the worst of it at any rate, though both his pants and his shirt were likely ruined. He didn't bother to look in Nero's direction again for the time being, he'd just let the guy get undressed and over to the bath in peace. He assumed Fira had put the towels over there ahead of them in hopes that they wouldn't get too much paint on them by wearing them to the tub...and he didn't particularly want to watch Nero undress and walk over there. That would be just a little creepy. .

Kyran looked over at Celestine when he heard him ask him who he was sharing with and noted the quieter tone. He wasn't really that surprised to find that anyone of them might be uncomfortable in a place like this. He was kind of used to visiting nice places like this so he knew what he was in for as he assumed Aamori must have been to a palace before since she didn't look that uncomfortable, really. He guessed this must be a first for Celestine, LaRae and probably Reyes as well. He glanced back towards the door that he had come out of and then looked back at Celestine. “Both Nero and Kanone were ushered out of here before I looked into a room for myself so as of right now I am not sharing with anyone.” He told him. “Also, neither Nero or Kanone have picked room assignments yet either...” He paused. “So I suppose that means you can have pick of who you would rather room with.” He glanced towards Nanashi's door briefly. “The only room I'd like to keep off limits is Nanashi's of course and for obvious reasons I hope.”

Aamori was kind of glad that getting to the rooms wasn't really all that difficult. She had hoped it wouldn't be and was quite happy. She was also kind of glad that both Ishta and Kyran had been markers for where they needed to go. No one had wanted to ask Ishta and she had kind of been nice enough to say and thankfully, Kyran had already been coming into the hall when they got there. She nodded as Kyran finished what he was saying about the rooms and then glanced to the right set of doors. She guessed if they were supposed to try and use as few rooms as possible the three of them, her, LaRae and Reyes could probably fit comfortably enough in one room. She wasn't opposed to sharing a bed with LaRae if it came right down to it but she wondered if LaRae would even be able to adhere to the non-co-ed rooms. She always seemed really concerned about Nanashi and didn't see why now was going to be any different. She looked over to Celestine momentarily once he had asked Kyran who he was sharing with. She went ahead and started to head towards the right set of doors with that. She wanted to get her weapons off and possibly even rest for a little while. They had done quite the bit of walking today and they actually had beds to rest in. She wasn't too concerned with picking a room and just went for the first door. She cracked the door open a little to check and make sure it was free before pushing the door open all of the way. She hadn't seen the boys side of the hall but she kind of hoped they didn't have to deal with pastel girly colors. She wasted little time once she was inside to make her way over to one of the two beds to start removing her things. She started with the small bag on her back since that was going to be the easiest to get out of and then started to unbuckle the straps that held her harness in place for her weapons. For someone who didn't fight a lot she sure did have more weapons then she really needed. Not only did she have the blades but she also still carried her staff. Once the harness was off she let out a relieved breath and then started to set the blades and all, gently down onto the floor near the bed. The blades added a little extra weight so she was kind of glad to be free of them. She reached for the small bag as she sat down on the bed and started to open it up. She pulled out the gel pack LaRae had asked her to hold and fished inside for one of the small pouches of treats. Since her and Celestine were going to be in separate rooms and Kyiri was most likely going to be with him she figured she should give him some of the treats so that Kyiri didn't go without.

Reyes didn't bother lingering in the hall once Aamori had started for a room. He wouldn't have minded sharing a room with Celestine but at the present everyone thought he was a she... so he needed to room with the females. Thankfully for them he wasn't really interested in girls. He headed for the room, following Zale, who had followed Aamori. He stepped inside after Zale and cast a smile in Aamori's direction as she was removing her things. “Hi roomie.” He said as he made his way over to the other bed and proceeded to practically plop down on top the well made bed. He sprawled out a little and just laid there for a few moments before lifting his hand to pull the glasses from his head. He assumed that they might be inside for most of the day, if not the rest of the day so he took them off and scooted across the bed to set them down on top of the end table.

LaRae lingered in the hall a little after Kyran's initial words and waited while he spoke to Celestine. Waiting proved to be good for her because she managed to hear a little about Nanashi. She at least knew for sure what room he was in and that Kyran wanted him to be by himself, obviously to make sure he got plenty of rest. She wasn't that thrilled with the fact that there were male and female rooms... she would have liked to have shared a room with Nanashi, especially since he was still recovering. She didn't really think that was much of an option... at least at the moment. She figured she could ask Hikari about it when she saw her again, just to see if she would even approve of that... well... if it was okay with Nanashi. She only stayed in the hall a few moments after hearing that before she started over towards the door that both Aamori and Reyes had disappeared into. She paused in the doorway long enough to see that Reyes had laid claim to one bed and Aamori was sitting on the other going through her bag. She smiled weakly and then started into the room as soon as she saw Aamori look up from what she was doing and wave her inside. Sharing a room with Aamori wasn't a bad thing, she just wasn't sure she was ready to share with Reyes... they had only just met... what... two days ago? Maybe one? She wasn't sure what to make of the girl.

Nero didn't really care who he started undressing in front of. If Firra didn't want to see anything she would leave and he knew that. He went on about trying to get out of his clothes, working on kicking out of his boots when he heard Kanone cut himself short. He glanced back towards him briefly before sighing quietly and continuing what he was doing. “Looks like we've finally found something that actually shuts you up.” He said half teasingly. He guessed that meant that his back wasn't as covered up as he had kind of hoped. He didn't mind too much when other people saw it... it was just that whenever someone new saw it they always had questions to ask. So far the only other person in the group that had seen his back and questioned the scars was Hikari and that had kind of been unintentional since she just happened to be up and about when he had taken his shower that one night. He went on about undressing and was trying to be careful about where any paint may get. Rather then sticking his almost completely paint stained clothes on the floor or anything like that he hung them up on one hook behind the screen. He figured if something had to get paint on it, it was safer being a hook they could easily replace as compared to the floor. After he was undressed he wasted little time leaving the safety of the screen and heading for the bath. His hair was already hardened a bit and he really wanted to get the paint of it along with the rest of him. He stepped a foot into the water first and then just climbed right in. The water could have been scorching hot at this point and he would have still gotten inside just for the sake of getting the damned paint of himself. The first thing he did after getting into the bath of course was submerge himself for a few moments in a part of the bath that could handle that easily. It was going to be a pain in the tail working paint out out his hair...

Celestine looked up to Kyran when he told him that he hadn't chosen a roommate yet. He had half expected that Kyran would room with Nanashi, but since he had added on that he would like to keep Nanashi's room off limits, he nodded in understanding. It was probably good for Nanashi to have a room without people running in and out all of the time. "...Would it be alright if I room with you?" he asked in the same hushed tone, "...Kanone keeps me awake...and I have a feeling it's going to be hard enough sleeping in here." He guessed he may as well toss that out as reason enough to want to room with him. Not to mention there was Nobu, and he kind of thought it would be nice if Nobu could spend time with both of them...and Esen seemed to enjoy spending time around Nobu as much as he did, so that was another plus. He stepped a little closer to the wall when the girls started to move toward the bedroom and then glanced into the room for a moment. All he could really see was a lot of pastel pink and lace.... He doubted the girls had windows in there since the men's rooms were on the outer wall...perhaps, so he was pretty glad that he wasn't getting shoved into that side of the hallway. Now, if the guy's bedrooms had windows at the very least...he may be good.

Kanone glanced back to Nero briefly when he made the comment about finding something that would shut him up and smiled weakly. "...Yeah...that'll do it," he responded quietly. Whether Nero liked it or not, he had gotten to like him pretty well as a friend, so naturally it was disturbing to see so many scars on his back, and made him cringe to think about how he got them. He let Nero finish getting undressed and then made his way behind the screen as well, stripping out of the remainder of his clothes before turning them wrong side out as well and kicking them over with his shirt and shoes. He then made quick work of getting to the tub and finding a spot to sit while Nero was submerged since even if he wasn't entirely shy, he still didn't enjoy parading around in nothing. Thankfully, the water was pretty much just right, for him at least. It was warmed by the light, but it wasn't hot, and he could feel the water circulating through jets spaced strategically around the tub's walls where he assumed it was being filtered out and shot back in. He half smiled as he sank down to his shoulders in the water, giving Nero plenty of room since he didn't particularly want to be bathing in paint flakes. For the moment he was content in just soaking in front of one of the jets since he only really had a bit of paint in his hair. He did slip down and soak his hair just to get it wet, but beyond that he was in no huge hurry. He did glance back over to Nero again once he had to resurface for air and offered him another slight smile. "...Well, you still look pretty funny," he commented once he thought Nero could hear him well enough to make out what he was saying. He was dying to ask about the scars but for now...he didn't mention it. He could at least let Nero get cleaned up before bombarding him with questions. Not to mention...he wasn't too sure how to ask since he didn't really know if it was something that bothered Nero. But then again...if it was, he probably wouldn't take his shirt off right in view of everyone in the room.

Kyran shook his head slightly when he heard Celestine's question. “I don't mind.” He answered after hearing that Kanone keeps him awake. He had thought that Celestine might have wanted to room with Kanone but clearly that wasn't the case. He didn't mind one bit sharing a room with him but that kind of went all the way around. No matter who he was going to wind up sharing a room with he wouldn't have really minded. “I suppose Nero and Kanone can share a different room then.” He commented. “Ishta shouldn't mind if we use four rooms, I hope.” He said a little absently as he started to turn back towards the room that he had staked a claim on. “I hope you don't mind orange.” He said as he reached the door and opened it back up so that Celestine could go inside.

Nero stared over at Kanone for a moment after he had said that he still looked pretty funny. “Yeah, yeah...” He muttered under his breath as he lifted a hand to feel just how bad his hair really was. He made a face for a second or two and then started dunk his head under the water once again. While he was under this time he tried to run his hands through his hair to try and break up some of the dried paint patches. He could hold his breath for a decent amount of time so he didn't come back up right away but when he finally did his hair at least looked a little more manageable... though still clearly white. He knew he looked funny... that was unavoidable when you had paint dumped on you. He was at least thankful that the parts of his body that were covered by his clothes managed to stay pretty paint-free. That at least made less of his body that he had to scrub paint from and he already knew he was going to hate getting his horns clean. They were ivory to begin with so it was going to be a little hard to tell if paint was still on them... well... maybe not too much since the paint did have a glittery effect to it. He had noticed that Kanone was being pretty quiet about having seen the scars on his back. Even Hikari hadn't been able to hold out for very long before asking about them. He started moving towards a bottle he presumed was shampoo so that he could start working that into his hair to help aid him in the removal of paint. He didn't look back in Kanone's direction until after he had successfully lathered and rinsed his hair once and was working on putting more shampoo in it. “...How long do you think you can possibly go before you actually ask about it?” He asked, mostly out of curiosity. He was genuinely kind of curious to know how long he thought he could go without inquiring about the scars on his back.

Celestine smiled faintly and nodded a little when Kyran said that he didn't mind. Well, that was a bit of a relief. "...Thanks," he muttered quietly. He nodded a little when he said that Kanone and Nero could share another room and then glanced along the hallway. "...If all of these are bedrooms...I think there is still plenty of room...." he responded to his comment about Ishta and the rooms. Once Kyran had started toward the room he fell in step a few feet behind him before watching as he opened the door. He blinked when he said that he hoped that he didn't mind orange and then shrugged a little. "...It's not my favorite color...but I don't care," he replied absently as he stepped into the room. Indeed...the room was very orange and white, with a little gold tossed in here and there in pretty much the same places as it was in Nanashi's room. The only real difference aside from the color scheme was that rather than a phoenix on the folding screen it depicted a sort of sunrise as seen through the trees, apparently in autumn since there were few leaves and the ones that were were red, orange, and yellow. Celestine gave the room a brief sweep with his eyes and then started over toward the bed closest to the window almost timidly before glancing back to Kyran. "...Where are you sleeping?" he asked, since Kyran had claimed the room first. He didn't want to just to steal his bed, though of course...he would much rather have the one by the window as opposed to the one by the door.

Kanone laughed softly when Nero responded to him and then shook his head a little. He couldn't help it, it was just in his nature to tease and make light of things. He watched as Nero tried to clear his hair out again and closed his eyes for a few moments as he leaned his head back, though as soon as Nero resurfaced again he couldn't help but laugh at his hair. It looked better as far as the pint went, but it still looked pretty scary...and on top of all it was so messed up he wondered how he would ever get a comb through it again. After that he just closed his eyes again to relax for now. He let Nero go about whatever he needed to do in peace, though as soon as he spoke to him again he opened his eyes and looked at him while tilting his head a little. For a moment all he could do was stare at him, though soon he smiled weakly. "...Well, I was going to let you get clean...and it probably would have taken me all day to think of how to ask...so probably a good few hours, assuming I could even remembered what I had wanted to ask you by then, but now that you mention it..." he just trailed off with a weak grin and shook his head. "...What happened?" he asked finally, "Those look terrible...."

Kyran glanced to Celestine momentarily when he heard him say that he thought there was plenty of room. “Yes, there are quite a few rooms but Ishta had voiced wanting less rooms for the maid to have to clean up.” He commented. Of course he wanted to do his best to follow anything he was told and he didn't want to give the maids a lot of work to do. If he didn't mind giving them so much work they all could have taken their own room if they liked. He didn't care too much for the color orange himself but he wasn't picky enough to go checking all of the rooms looking for a color that suited him better. Not to mention he kind of liked the idea of being closer to the room Nanashi was in just in case he needed anything. He watched Celestine as he started towards the bed closest to the window and then glanced back and asked where he was sleeping. He hadn't even bothered picking a bed before, he just set his blades down and was going to worry about it later. “I haven't claimed a bed yet, so feel free to take whichever one you want.” He told him with a small smile. He could tell that Celestine was already uncomfortable and kind of wanted to do whatever he could to try and put him at ease.

Nero continued to try and work the paint from his hair but he did look over at Kanone as he answered him and said that he was going to let him get clean and that it probably would have taken him all day to think of how to ask him about it. He shook his head slightly and then listened as he did finally ask what happened. He then dunked his head under the water once again to rinse the shampoo from his hair. When he came back up he moved on from the shampoo to just using soap to try and work the paint off of his arms. “Of course they look terrible, they're supposed to.” He commented. He sighed quietly and focused on cleaning himself. “My clan happened.” He finally told him. “Every single scar on my back, big or small is thanks to them.” He added. “...Just like I told Hikari, they're a result of punishment for different things. No big deal.”
