Aamori sat quietly for a few more minutes before her curiosity got the better of her. She wanted to know at least one thing. She sighed softly, barely realizing that as she did so her eyes reverted back to their natural dark blue color and her voice got it's usual echo back. This tended to happen sometimes when she thought too much about something, she'd forget to control her energy to keep herself in her pseudo-self. She glanced over at him for a brief time before looking away again. "...Why does that happen?" She asked, oblivious to her voice's echo. "...That was you're dream right?" If anything she was trying to be as unspecific as possible, to get her answers and steer clear of the details.

Cyndel 03-24-2008 09:27 PM

Celestine sighed softly, his ear twitching slightly when he heard the echo in her voice. He looked at her staring at her eyes for a moment before glancing away again. "...It just...does..." he said quietly, "...Ever since I was little...People could...hear things that I was thinking or...see what I saw whenever I wasn't...paying attention. Like when I am sleeping...I can't force myself not to think or to think...quietly." He looked away, lowering his ears slightly, "...I cannot...help what you saw. I'm sorry." he said quietly. He was silent for a moment and then glanced back to her from the corner of his eye. "...Why does...your voice change like that....when you are not acting like a child?" he asked, thinking it only fair that she could answer just as simple a question.

Yotsy 03-24-2008 09:48 PM

Aamori sat quietly listening to everything he had to say, that is until he asked her about her voice. She was a bit shocked, she hadn't noticed it changed. She was a little embarrassed and started to change it back but stopped herself sighing softly. He'd heard the voice before, so it wasn't like she needed to go hiding it like she did from everyone else. "...Well..." She paused keeping her eyes glued on the water before her. "...When I'm not paying attention myself, my voice reverts back to it's natural state. Along with my eyes." She stopped herself from going into too much detail. As long as he didn't ask anything further she was fine with what little he knew.

Cyndel 03-24-2008 10:47 PM

Celestine looked back to her again and tilted his head, "That wasn't what I..." he sighed and shook his head. "I see." He said simply. Apparently she didn't want to tell him much, so he wouldn't bother to ask her further...partially for fear that she would ask him more questions. What he'd originally meant by the question was why did her voice and eye change in general when she was being serious. He shook it off and sighed softly, closing his eyes again before laying back on the grass. "...You should go back to sleep... I wont bother you anymore." he didn't intend to go back to sleep himself...he'd had enough dreams for one night, he didn't care to give them a chance to come back again.

Yotsy 03-25-2008 12:14 AM

Aamori glanced over at him when he laid back, taking note to the unfinished sentence. "Not what you meant, huh?" She mumbled shifting her eyes away from him. "The way my eyes and voice are now, is normal; The way it was intended to be." She stated, then paused. "I force them to change to what you usually see of me. The baby blue eyes and the child-like voice. Everything tends to revert back to my 'normal' when I've stopped paying attention to it, not necessarily only when I'm being serious. It takes a great deal of focused energy to keep up the changes; For lack of better words when I loose my focus, people see the real me and not the persona I put on." She was being very careful how she worded everything, trying not to leave too many gaps that could lead to potentially bad questions. She finally looked back over at him for a moment, surprisingly somewhat comfortable in this state around him. At least he had not caught onto what she was hiding. Most Clans who were at war with hers probably would've picked up on it by now. "So, does that better answer your question?" She put her arms behind her and leaned back on them letting her still wet hair fall back off her shoulders as she tilted her head towards the sky. "...And as for sleep, I'm too awake now to go back to sleep. You go and dunk your head in that cold water and then try to sleep again."

Cyndel 03-25-2008 12:26 AM

Celestine opened his emerald and gold eyes to look at her for a moment as she explained herself a bit better and tilted his head slightly at her explanation. He almost laughed at her comment about the water. "...I will pass. I am not built for water." he said simply. He closed his eyes again and went silent for a few moments. "...I still do not understand why." he said simply. "...What is wrong with you that you feel the need to use so much energy to hide it?" he said the question more like a statement as if he wasn't particularly fishing for an answer. One would be nice, but he didn't seem to be pushing it too hard and probably wouldn't ask again if she didn't give him an answer.

Yotsy 03-25-2008 12:48 AM

Aamori smiled softly hearing his response to the water; Sure she knew he wasn't 'built' for water, if he was then he'd have been a water dragon like her. She chuckled a little. "It's a good thing you don't understand. If you did I wouldn't continue to talk to you while I'm like this..." She paused. "And there is nothing wrong with me, I hide who I really am to better protect myself. It's also not all that difficult to do, and doesn't use a lot of energy. At least the way I taught myself how to do it." She shifted slightly shutting her eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath and then opening her eyes again. Now they'd converted back to the baby blue and her voice no longer echoed. "It really only takes me a matter of seconds now, I've perfected it." She smiled quite proud of herself.

Cyndel 03-25-2008 12:56 AM

Celestine opened his eyes again when he heard her voice change. "...Well...if you say so." he said simply. He was clearly still interested, but he decided to drop the subject so as not to get anything started or seem too nosy. He just wondered why she wouldn't want to talk to him that way if he did understand. What exactly was there to understand? What was she protecting herself from? What did her voice echoing even matter...other than it got a bit annoying after a while. He sighed softly and rolled onto his side, facing away from her for a moment until his eyelids started to droop again. He sat up and rubbed one eye with the base of his palm, stifling a yawn. He didn't want to go back to sleep...but he was still pretty tired.

Yotsy 03-25-2008 01:09 AM

Aamori had shifted her attention else where, on nothing in particular to tell the truth. There was a lot more to the story behind her in general; She wasn't just your typical water clan dragon and very few if any of the others had picked up on that. The only one who knew a little more then Celestine at this point was LaRae and that was only because they'd known each other longer. She felt comfortable enough around Celestine, but not enough to be able to reveal herself. Doing so could still make everything take a turn for the worst. She sighed softly sometimes wishing she wasn't burdened with such a secret; But she was sure there were other people out there who hid who they were. Thinking that made everyday slightly easier, and more bearable. So many times in the past had she come so close to telling someone, and stopped herself. She'd yet to meet someone who could keep her secret the same way she had been doing for years now. Her attention was snagged when she caught Celestine sitting up, clearly still tired. She looked over at him and laughed softly. "If you're still tired, you should go back to sleep. You don't need to worry, I won't go to sleep."

Cyndel 03-25-2008 01:28 AM

Celestine looked back to her again when she told him that he should go back to sleep. He sighed and shook his head slightly. "...I don't particularly care if you go back to sleep or not... I'm not that tired. Besides...I've had all of the sleep that I can stand for one night." he said simply. He shifted positions slightly and curled his knees up to his chest, resting his chin on them as he stared out over the water. He was bound and determined that he was going to stay awake... That was made a bit easier due to the fact that he was still seeing things behind his closed lids. He stared down at the water in silence for a while...pretty much out of things to talk about unless Aamori brought something else up.

Yotsy 03-25-2008 02:09 AM

Aamori shook her head hearing that he wasn't going to go back to sleep. She didn't think she could blame him though, after a dream like that she didn't think she'd go back to sleep either. She continued to sit quietly staring up at the tree branches, towards the sky. Watching as the sun slowly started to rise after some time, filtering through the branches and hitting the ground in random spots. She was lucky enough to be sitting in just the right spot, being warmed by the sun as it hit her. She smiled softly bringing her eyes back down and scanning the area to see if perhaps Kyran or Hikari had woken yet since they weren't all that far from where she and Celestine were.

Kyran had slept pretty well throughout most of the night only shifting slightly every once in awhile. He cracked his eye open as soon as the sun hit his face as it breached the trees. He yawned softly, opening up his other eye and blinking a few times. "...Morning already?" He said quietly. He then lifted a hand from behind his head up to rub the sleep from his eyes.

Cyndel 03-25-2008 02:45 AM

Celestine sat silently until the sun started to rise, staring down into the water with heavy eyelids. He wanted to go back to sleep after a while, but by then there was really no point in it as he knew he would be getting awakened again soon anyway. He glanced back when he noticed Aamori looking over to Kyran and Hikari and sighed when he saw that Kyran was moving. That meant they would be off again soon. He finally stood up and walked over to his things, starting to gather them up and put everything back where it was supposed to go.

Yet again, Hikari had managed to latch onto the closest thing to her...which this time just so happened to be Kyran's tail. She was laying on her side with both arms and legs wrapped around his tail in a sort of death grip, her head resting on top of the feather-like tip. She was also laying right in the sun, though the light didn't seem to bother her a bit, the way that the sun reflected off her silvery hair and made her pale skin sparkle, she probably could have half blinded anyone that was just waking up and hadn't let their eyes adjust to the light just yet.

Yotsy 03-25-2008 03:07 AM

Aamori turned her attention back to Celestine when she noticed he was up and moving again. She sighed softly not quite ready to get up and move around too much. Instead she laid back stretching slightly as she soaked up the warm sun. She knew they'd be leaving soon; She was going to enjoy the surroundings a little longer before they ended up back out into the barren lands with nothing to look at but rocks.

Kyran had started to sit up, rather quickly realizing he couldn't completely, it was like he hit a snag somewhere. He looked over to Hikari covering his eyes slightly from the shine and then shook his head laughing softly just barely seeing his purple tail being clung to by the sun-shimmer-er herself. He tried to pull his tail back, giving it a few quick tugs; Realising that was a little easier said then done he started to wiggle his tail slightly, intending to get the feathered end to tickle her; In hopes that might wake her up. "...Hey... Hikari..." He paused, laughing lightly again. "Can I have my tail back?"

Cyndel 03-25-2008 03:57 AM

It didn't take Celestine all that long to get his things together and get ready to go. Once he was to the point that he could just get up and walk off whenever he sat down against the tree again and sighed, watching Kyran try to free himself from Hikari. He didn't know why that woman always had to hug something in her sleep.

Hikari wiggled her head slightly when the feathers brushed against her face, one catching under her nose. She wiggled her nose a bit and then sneezed, clamping onto his tail even more tightly for a moment before slowly opening her eyes. She blinked and yawned, then froze upon hearing Kyran's voice. She immediately uncurled her self from his tail and scooted back quickly, her face turning completely red. "Ahg! I'm sorry!" She said as she sat up, hiding her face behind her hands for a moment. Oh geez!

Yotsy 03-25-2008 06:59 PM

Aamori had not been paying very much attention to what was going on with Kyran and Hikari. She was rather enjoying the sun, and the fact the water was so close; It actually reminded her of home at the moment. She sighed softly shutting her eyes gently before rolling over onto her stomach so that her back was exposed to the sun. She'd thought she might try to dry her hair out the rest of the way before Kyran decided they were headed out again.

Kyran flinched slightly when she tightened her grip on his tail after sneezing. As soon as she had let go of his tail it flung back and laid down on the ground on the other side of him. He took the end of his tail in his hand and ruffled up the feathers again before letting go of it. He laughed softly seeing her reaction. "It's alright; How did you sleep?" It didn't really bother him all that much, the little sleeping habit she had. Not to mention in this forest he was glad she'd only clamped onto his tail and not some poor defenseless animal. Thinking about that picture in his head only made him laugh a bit harder.

Nero had slept a decent amount of time, but had been awake a little bit before the sun actually rose. He was still sitting under the same tree from before. He sighed softly knowing he'd better start looking for that lake now, or have to deal with someone else looking for him. He pushed himself up from the ground using the tree and stood, dusting himself off. He glanced around a little, his hair falling into his eyes slightly to block out some of the light; He definitely preferred nightfall over this. Though, there was nothing he could do about it, most of the others who were stuck doing this task were preferred day walkers and he was probably the only one who'd rather walk at night. He was outnumbered on that and would have to put up with the sunlight for now. He finally started walking off in the direction that he'd seen that light dragon go last night. Sooner or later he'd stumble upon them.

Cyndel 03-25-2008 10:14 PM

Celestine just closed his eyes again as he leaned back against the tree again and crossed his arms over his chest. He opened his eyes once to glanced back over to Aamori and then closed his eyes again. She was really strange...some times she annoyed the hell out of him, others he could actually stand to hold a decent conversation with her. He was just a little sorry that he had to wake her up like that.

Hikari smiled weakly to Kyran and glanced back to him again. "Well enough." she said softly, reaching up to fix her hair. Her bangs had parted again, leaving the gem in her forehead wide open for view. She sighed and shook out her hair then looked back to Kyran. "You really get a kick out of that, don't you?" she said, crossing her arms and giving him a mock pouting look when she heard him laughing at her.

Nanashi was finally starting to wake up as well when the sun filtered through the trees and into his face. He turned his head away from the light, but it really didn't help much. Finally he sighed and opened his eyes, blinking a few times before focusing on LaRae. He smiled slightly and nudged her. "...Good morning, LaRae..." He said softly, trying to wake her.

Yotsy 03-26-2008 12:31 AM

Kyran looked at her for a moment before climbing to his feet. He dusted himself off and adjusted his jacket before looking down at her again with a soft smile. "Don't look at me like that, you might make me feel bad for thinking your sleeping habit is kind of cute." He paused, walking closer to her and offering his hand to help her up. "Other then that, I'm glad you slept decently."

Nero didn't spend a lot of time searching for the lake; In fact he didn't really get too turned around. He just happened to pay attention to the tracks left behind by several of the different animals in the forest, figuring the most used path had to have been one leading to the lake. Perhaps the fact that he'd had some training in tracking things was the only reason why he made it to the lake with little to no trouble at all. He would have come out of the forest right around the area where Kryan and Hikari were; But he didn't leave the tree line. He had stopped and crossed his arms over his chest, leaning against one of the trees.

LaRae didn't move too much at first when she heard her name. Her ears shifted slightly, waiting to see if she'd hear it again. She wasn't exactly sure that she wasn't dreaming that. After laying there for a moment longer her eyes cracked open and she blinked a couple times. She smiled softly seeing Nanashi. "...Morning already?" She asked quietly still a bit tired.

Cyndel 03-26-2008 01:30 AM

Hikari looked up to Kyran and smiled, laughing quietly. "You think that everything is cute." she said playfully as she took his hand and stood up, dusting herself off. She glanced around, realizing that Celestine and Aamori were already up. She blinked when she caught something from the corner of her eye and glanced back to see Nero in the trees. "Well...Morning everyone." she said brightly.

Celestine looked at her and just yawned. "...Yes...it is." he said dully.

Nanashi smiled slightly and nodded. "Yes..." he chuckled softly, "Are you ready to get up?" he asked softly. He gave her another gentle squeeze and slowly started to push himself up to his elbow. He pulled his arm back and pushed his hair back with his fingers. before starting to sit the rest of the way up. "...We should go find the others..."

Yotsy 03-26-2008 02:27 AM

Kyran shook his head hearing her comment. "I don't think everything is cute..." He mumbled almost in a sad voice. When he heard her say morning to everyone he looked up and around the surrounding area seeing everyone except the usual two; He thought back to what happened last night with Nanashi and had only hoped that he and LaRae were together. It would make finding them a lot easier. He sighed slipping his hands into his pockets. "This isn't exactly everyone. We're still missing two..." He stated quietly.

Aamori continued to lay with her back to the sun for just a little while longer before sliding her hands under her body and pushing herself into a seated position on her knees. She looked around when she heard Kryan say two were missing still and quickly noticed that neither LaRae or Nanashi has shown up yet. More so, what was really shocking was Nero was already here.

Nero didn't say anything, nor really acknowledge that Hikari had said a word. He tilted his head down, his hair falling into his face and continued to lean against the tree.

LaRae yawned softly before looking up at Nanashi after he sat up. "Hey... That's not fair..." She mumbled. "You can't ask me if I'm ready to get up and then say we should find everyone else... What if I wanted to stay like this?" She sighed and rolled onto her back for only a brief second before pulling herself up into a seated position. She winced a little when she had made it to her back from the pressure on her wings. She then lifted her hand to her eyes and rubbed them softly before looking back over at him. "...But I guess we should go find them. Kyran probably wants to get going."

Cyndel 03-26-2008 03:44 AM

Hikari looked back to Kyran again when she heard the tone in his voice. Her ears laid back slightly and she gave his hand a squeeze since she hadn't released it yet, "I was joking, Kyran." she said softly nuzzling her head against his arm. She glanced around again when he mentioned that they were missing two. "...As usual." she said with a soft smile, "They are probably still sleeping somewhere." she stated simply as she backed away from him and gave him his hand back.

Celestine glanced around as well, though he already knew that those two weren't here. He noticed Nero off at the edge of the forest and sighed. Well at lest they didn't have to go find him, too. He glanced back toward the lake again. "...Nanashi is going to have to come back here anyway." he said simply, pointing to the edge of the lake where his boots lay near the water. Honestly, Celestine half wondered why the guy even bothered with them, they were completely worn out.

Nanashi smiled slightly, "Well...I said that we should, I did not say that we had to." he pointed out, "But yes...it's morning, so Kyran probably wants to get moving... I still have to get my boots, anyway." he said with a sigh as he crawled to his feet, holding out a hand for her.

Yotsy 03-26-2008 04:13 AM

Kyran watched as she backed away smiling slightly. "I was too." He said starting to laugh again softly. He then glanced over at Celestine for a moment when he said Nanashi would be back; Then spotted the boots when Celestine pointed them out. He shook his head a bit and looked back at Hikari. "Maybe we should've got the guy some new boots when we went into town yesterday. I don't see those lasting too much longer." He didn't think too much further on the subject. He pulled a hand from his pocket and ran it through his messy hair; His hand stopped about half way to the back of his head and he probably had an 'oh yeah!' look on his face. He'd nearly forgotten that he was supposed to be looking for a relic. The past days activity made him lose focus on that. He sighed heavily and let himself drop back down, so he was sitting down. He leaned back on one hand and brought one knee up, resting his other hand on it. He still wasn't sure what he was supposed to be looking for, let alone a good place to look for it. He remembered the Elder saying he'd know it when he found it. Well since he didn't know it, he must not have found it yet. So it was pretty clear that it wasn't here in this forest; 'Could it be in one of the larger ones?' He thought to himself shutting his eyes gently.

Aamori too had looked to see what Celestine had pointed at only to shake her head softly. "I bet his feet hurt..." She said quietly. She could imagine how walking around in this forest bare foot must feel, specially to someone who wore shoes more then they went without. Though, the boots didn't appear to give too much more comfort then the ground itself could. She glanced over at Celestine for moment, remembering she'd never seen him in shoes; She quirked a brow. "Celestine... Why don't you wear anything on your feet?"

LaRae reached out and took his hand getting to her feet quickly. She released his hand and sighed softly. She would have rather been able to sleep just a little bit longer, but knowing Kyran he'd probably be out looking for them if they didn't show up soon. Maybe after they found the thunder relic they all might be able to get a decent sleep in a bed again; Arienh knows she'd rather sleep in a bed then on the ground. She looked down when he mentioned he didn't have his boots and almost had to look again. She hadn't noticed before that he didn't have them. She shook her head slightly. "So, you'll remember to grab your coat but not your own boots?" She chuckled softly; She'd have gone for the shoes before the coat herself.

Cyndel 03-26-2008 05:20 AM

Hikari smiled slightly to Kyran when he said that he was joking too and sighed quietly, shaking her head. She looked back to where Nanashi's boots were laying for a moment and then back to Kyran when he mentioned that they should have gotten him new boots. "I have no idea what size he would wear..." she pointed out since she was the one that had been buying the clothes. Not to mention she hadn't been paying much attention to Nanashi's feet. Her gaze wandered back to Kyran again when he sat back down and she tilted her head slightly. "...Is something wrong?"

Celestine looked back to Aamori again and blinked, tilting his head slightly. He looked down at his own feet. They were pretty dirty and the bottoms looked a bit rough and calloused; thought hat was probably about the only part of him that didn't look soft and petable. "...I outgrew the only shoes that I had a while back... I never bought any new ones. I prefer to go barefoot...I can move faster and more quietly. ...Besides, I don't like having my toes crushed." he said simply.

Nanashi shrugged slightly. "...The coat was on my way out of the clearing...I just happened to see it." he said simply. He was almost going to be glad to get back in his boots. His feet were still raw from wearing them for so long and walking so much; the bottoms had actually started to bleed again at one point after he'd run on the rock barefoot last night, but he'd never noticed. He was too used to ignoring his feet to realize when they were really hurt or when they were just sore as hell. Now he just had dirt stuck to the bottoms of his feet. "Well...come on." he said quietly, starting to walk back toward the lake rather slowly. He was trying to step lightly, at least until he got his shoes back.

Yotsy 03-26-2008 06:03 AM

Kyran sat quietly for a few minutes, even after Hikari spoke to him. He was far too lost in thought to respond. And of course one of the thoughts that crossed his mind was 'If I was a relic, where would I be hiding?' He sighed softly and opened his eyes before remembering Hikari asked him something. A bead of sweat rolled down the side of his face, slightly embarrassed to have ignored her for as long as he did. "...Oh, sorry." He paused. "Nothings wrong. Just trying to think of where that relic might be." He shifted his glance back towards the lake momentarily. "I've got no clue where to look to be honest. I was just hoping sooner or later I'd get some idea of where to go. So far, no luck." After he spoke, he shook his head softly. Wishing now that he'd thought about it before he said a word; He didn't think any of them really wanted to hear that he was guiding them aimlessly all over the place. He only hoped that he'd get a good idea soon to make up for the trek they'd made.

Aamori pulled her legs out from under her and stretched them in front of her. She looked down at her own feet once he had finished speaking and watched as she wiggled her toes around. Her toes weren't being crushed; Which was why she chose to wear these sandals over her other shoes. She figured she could debate some form of shoes versus being barefoot but against Celestine that seemed like a pointless cause that would turn into an argument in no time flat. She sighed softly and finally moved to get to her feet. She dusted herself off and pulled down to the side of her skort a little bit trying to cover her staff from view. The fact that new bottoms weren't as long as the previous one she'd had on really screwed with her ability to hide her weapon. She knew it was only a matter of time before someone was able to piece everything together.

Nero still had yet to really move from where he was standing, not even to shift his weight. Though when he heard that Kyran had been leading them around without a real destination he scoffed and turned around; Leaning against the tree still but now with his back to the rest of them. He couldn't believe that this guy had no idea yet as to the whereabouts of this stupid relic. At least he had an idea of where the one in his territory might be. His tail flicked from side to side a bit in agitation after hearing that.

LaRae glanced back down at his feet again once he started to walk. She merely shook her head and followed after him; Catching up to him easily considering how carefully he was walking. "You should take better care of your feet." She stated as she stretched a little. "Since you don't have any place to really relax and put them up... You'll be needing your feet for awhile yet; So treating them so badly is only going to make them give out on you." As she stretched she realized just how badly her wrists still itched from the burns; She slid the cuff down on her one wrist and tried blowing on it a little in hopes the itch might go away for a while. The fact that her cuffs and arm bands were black leather probably didn't help matters either. "Oh, and you could learn how to walk on earthy grounds like this pretty easily. Which might not hurt your feet too badly. It came naturally to me, but that's because I grew up around this terrain."

Cyndel 03-26-2008 06:32 AM

Hikari looked at him and smiled slightly, shaking her head when he apologized for ignoring her. She listened to him and then sighed softly. "Well...I am sure we will find it eventually... There are only six of these forests...meaning there are four remaining that we have yet to check." She smiled slightly again and put a hand on his his head. "...We should have enough time." She wasn't all that thrilled about their wandering aimlessly, but she wasn't angry with Kyran. After all, he was the first of them to go, he would naturally have the most difficult time finding his relic.

Celestine watched Aamori for a moment, almost knowing what she was thinking. 'I don't like sandals either. They slide too easily...I don't see how she walks in those things on this ground.' he thought absently before turning his attention back to his own feet. He finally got up and walked over to the lake again, sitting down beside it and put the bottom of his foot in the water, then pulled it out and rubbed it with his hand, trying to clean off some of the dirt, and then put it back int he water and wiggled it around a bit before repeating the process with the other foot and then doing the same with his hands.

Nanashi glanced over to her and sighed, "There really isn't much that I can do with them... I don't have anything to put on them...and my shoes are part of why they're like this." His boots were almost too small on top of being worn out, that was why they wore at his feet so badly. "...I'll be alright... I'm used to it, anyway. It doesn't bother me...much."

Yotsy 03-26-2008 07:08 AM

Kyran lowered his head slightly when she put a hand on top of it. It was a little weird, since he was so tall he wasn't used to people touching his head. Hearing the number of remaining forests he sighed, giving it another thought. "I doubt we'll have to check all of the remaining four. At least two of them are extremely small, much like the first one that we went to the other day." He sat thinking again, quietly. He'd been to every single one of the these forests at least once before so why was this so hard. If he ruled out the other two small forests that would leave another medium one to the south and then the largest one to the north. "Hmm..." His eyes still focused on the water for a moment before they drifted to the waterfall. He was trying to think of something that stuck out about the two places. The forest to the North wasn't too much farther away from where they were now. Then the one in the South was all the way South, at least a three day trek back to the festival grounds and then maybe two more days after that depending on their pace. He was pretty sure they'd continue going North; He sighed softly wishing that was where the relic was.

Aamori watched Celestine walk over and start cleaning his feet. She just watched until he was finished and shook her head a little. "Why didn't you just sit down and clean them while they were submerged in the water?" She questioned thinking that would have been the faster more efficient way to get clean. Then again, it wasn't really any of her business. She looked away from him placing her hand up as if saying stop. "Ya' know what, don't answer that." She then turned around and wandered over to the tree lining, stepping behind a tree for a moment. She didn't bother checking to see if anyone followed her, she doubted anyone would. She reached down to her holster and unclasped the staff from it holding it tightly in her hand, giving a weak sigh.

LaRae looked over at him for a moment before looking back towards the ground. "You're just giving me excuses." She paused. "All of which can be rectified. Something can be bought to go on your feet and new boots can be bought too. So... You can't use those excuses anymore." She glanced back down at his feet when he said it didn't bother him much. "I'm pretty sure it bothers you some, you just don't want to admit it. At least that's how it looks to me." She brought her eyes back up and sighed softly. Before she knew it she was already scratching at the burn on her wrist. She happened to notice what she was doing when it started to hurt; She bit her lip barely making a noise. She looked down at the burn and noticed it was now much redder then it had been. She'd already started yelling at herself in her head; 'Why in the hell can't I leaves these things alone!' She grumbled lightly and pulled her leather cuff back up over the burn and tried to ignore it.
