Celestine side glanced at LaRae when she told him not to bother changing course and started muttering about how things were at home. He sighed and shook his head when she started to leave and then closed his eyes again. He'd barely wanted to come here in the first place, but her leaving left him with little reason not to change course. "...Do what you want." He said indifferently, though his voice was so soft that she probably wouldn't hear him over her own ranting.

Hikari looked at LaRae when she started to move away from her and sighed. "LaRae, wait. You know that's not what we're thinking." she tried to tell her as she walked away, but she didn't seem to be listening since she never stopped talking. She shook her head as LaRae started off and was about to go after her until she threatened anyone who followed her. At that point she just sighed and threw up her hands. What a mess.

Nanashi's ears laid back even more when he heard LaRae saying that she was leaving them. He didn't want to be left on his own with the other five of them. Sure most of them were nice and all but he was far more attached to LaRae. He took a few steps after her and then paused when she said that she'd make anyone who tried to follow her regret it. That made him hesitate a little. Maybe she really didn't want him to go after her either. He stood there for a good five minutes just staring after her before he decided that it didn't matter either way. He couldn't convince himself that she wouldn't hurt him, but then again, so what if she did? He was always expecting pain from others, why not her too? Finally, he started forward again and dashed into the trees after her, ignoring anyone who may have called after him. He didn't think LaRae should be wandering around these forests by herself, especially not as upset as she was.

Kyran just barely lifted his head when he heard LaRae going off on a rant again. After everything that they had been told he was a little worried that she left so angry and upset. If what she said was true, then she could level a decent amount of ground around here. He half glared over at Celestine; If he hadn't said what he had then LaRae probably would've just gone back where she had been and tried to relax. He gave a heavy sigh when he saw Nanashi follow after her regardless of the threat. He could only hope that LaRae wasn't angry enough to actually go through with her threat. The last thing they needed was her hurting anyone. He grumbled quietly to himself a moment before lowering his eyes again.

Aamori just kind of stood there with her jaw hanging open. She'd listened to everything and kept her mouth shut throughout all of it. She was a bit surprised to have heard everything LaRae had to say though she was more surprised that Celestine said what he had about changing course. He should've waited to say something like that but then again she didn't think he cared at all what happened to LaRae. She shook her head lightly and wandered over to Celestine. "...You're being a jerk." She said simply. "I know you definitely don't want her near there, which is why you said you were going a different way... So obviously you were trying to be considerate and not leave her behind... So why in Arienh are you just letting her walk away when you know we needed her here?" She looked off in the direction that LaRae and Nanashi had gone. "You're so contradicting yourself..." She paused. "And I hope you know that if what she said was the truth, about being able to level anything just from being too upset... Then she's probably going to end up losing control and destroying a part of this forest and everything around her..."

LaRae was extremely upset, so much so that while she was walking she was absently using her magic. It wouldn't be hard to figure out which way she went because her magic was bending trees abnormally and reducing the ground below her feet to nothing but dirt. No more roots, or rocks or even grass. Just dirt. She walked with her head tilted to the ground. She wasn't really sure where she was going but as long as she got away from everyone else it didn't really matter. She muttered to herself under her breath as she walked and then crossed her arms over her chest. By now she'd already lost herself in her anger. There was no way she'd be able to pull herself back, so she wasn't far from losing complete control over herself. However she had the forethought to walk in the direction she thought she'd find Renzo; He could stop her from losing control with just a flick of his wrist. Granted, he'd probably make her return home in exchange. But at this point what did it matter, she was being treated the same by Celestine, just like everyone from her own Clan.

Hikari sighed heavily and slowly walked over to sit beside Kyran without saying a word. She was still about half as irritated with him, Nero, and Celestine as she had been earlier, but she was trying to just forget about it.

Celestine looked over to Aamori when she said that he was being a jerk. He just sighed and looked away from her again. "You say that like it's something new." he said casually. He closed his eyes as she went on and sighed again by the time she'd finished. "Isn't that obvious enough? I'm the last person she wants going after her. She'd flatten me to the ground before I could even take a breath to say anything else. Frankly, I would rather her get angry and tear up some trees than my village...again." he said rather darkly. "I never wanted to bring her this far into our territory anyway, but I kept quiet about it... If she leaves and goes home for a while it's no skin off of my nose. Just one less thing I have to worry about... hopefully she'll take the other one with her. I don't want one that I can't keep an eye on wandering around here, and I do not intend to lead whoever right to the village. Really this works out better both ways..."

Nanashi certainly had no trouble telling were LaRae had gone. He knew she was getting a little out of control, but even still, he thought that he could talk her down, or at least try. A little presumptuous of him perhaps. He tried to speed up a little. "LaRae!" he called after her. He knew he had to be catching up to her, he could hear stuff moving up ahead. "LaRae, wait!! Please!! Just wait!!" he called to her. She was finally starting to come into view now at least.

Kyran looked up for a moment when he noticed Hikari coming closer and then sitting next to him. He only looked at her for a little longer before looking away. He was upset with himself after everything that happened and couldn't bring himself to look anywhere but at the ground for any length of time. He gave a sigh. "...I didn't know what to say to her, after all of that." He said lightly. "Sorry didn't seem like it would help." He paused. "I never intended for her to be hurt like that and I apologize for pushing the question on you. I didn't know you were helping protect a secret like that." He said quietly.

Aamori set her hands gently on her hips after listening to Celestine. She shook her head lightly. "I know she wouldn't want you going after her, she doesn't want any of us to because she doesn't want to accidentally hurt any of us. Or was that not clear enough for you?" She paused. "And I hope the only thing she demolishes is some trees. And I hope she's far enough away that it doesn't affect us. I don't know the extent of damage a cursed one can cause without being aware of it, but I can only pray that it's not a great distance. She only said a town, but she didn't tell the size. So for all we know she could accidentally destroy an area of great size. Not to mention that's going to disturb any and all wildlife and creatures that might survive..." She gave a soft sigh. "I'm also well aware that you didn't want to bring her this far to begin with." She paused. "But you don't have a choice in the matter. We were told we had to work together and that means everyone. You can't go telling someone they can't come just because you've got something against them and their clan. She has as much a right to be here as I do, or any of us for that matter." She glanced back towards the direction that LaRae had gone, and then back to Celestine. "I also think you need to stop taking what happened in the past out on her. You have no right to hold it against her, especially if she didn't do anything. If you're going to be mad at someone then be mad at the Elders who tell them do such things, hate the specific dragons who did something to hurt you, but by no means hate her without just cause."

LaRae hadn't stopped walking just yet. The magic output had increased slightly and she'd been doing the same things but with a slightly bigger radius. She'd even managed to scare off quite a few small animals in the process but none of it registered. By this point she'd pretty much lost consciousness; Her eyes had even changed dramatically. They'd been coated in golden brown sheet and you could no longer see her eyes. She was nothing more then a vessel of uncontrollable power just waiting for a chance to explode. So of course she hadn't registered the fact that Nanashi was following her, let alone calling out to her. She'd continue walking like this until the power just boiled over.

Hikari sighed softy. "...Don't worry about it... I know you didn't know..." she said quietly. She leaned her head lightly against his shoulder again and glanced back toward the trees where LaRae and Nanashi had gone. "...I hope he'll be okay... She sounded pretty serious..." she said quietly. "I know those two have gotten close, but still..."

Celestine listened to Aamori in silence at least until she got to the point of he didn't have a choice in whether or not he let LaRae follow. He gave Aamori a rather dirty look. "Do you ever shut up?" he said rather irritably, "I haven't said a damn work about that earth brat following me into this territory. I know I don't have a choice but to let her, or have you not noticed that I've been gritting me teeth and playing nice this whole time. I may not get say in whether or not she follows, but I do have a choice as to whether or not I want to take her into a town or not. I have no obligations to take any of you there, I just thought it may be easier." He said as his tail flicked in agitation. "And for the record, Aamori...I don't care what you think on the mater. What you think isn't going to change a thing." He wasn't going to like LaRae until she gave him reason to and thus far neither of them were putting forth a lot of effort there.

Nanashi looked after LaRae for a moment, pausing for just a second. "LaRae!!!" he called louder. Why did she keep ignoring him. He sighed and started running again, soon catching up with her. "Stop already!!" he said as he reached out to grab her shoulders. He turned her around as soon as he had her and looked down at her. "Wh--" he started and then cut of in a quiet gasp when he saw the blank expression in her eyes. This couldn't be good. "LaRae!? Snap out of it!!"

Kyran shut his eyes gently and gave a small sigh. At least he was able to apologize to one of them. "...I don't think she'd purposely cause him any harm." He paused and cracked his eyes open a little. "But nonetheless, I'm a bit worried for both of them." He said quietly.

Aamori merely stuck her tongue out at him in return for the dirty look he gave her. She smirked slightly, then shook her head lightly. "No, I don't ever shut up." She said quietly. "I had a red mark on my face for awhile as proof of that." She commented. "Or have you forgotten already?" She turned a little away from him. She wasn't going to say very much more to him on any subject, the last thing she needed was to be talking so much that he got annoyed with her and ended up hitting her again; Unfortunately she wasn't going to forget that easily or the fact that he said he wasn't thinking when he hit her, he just did. "One thing though, before I shut up." She said looking back over at him briefly. "My opinion may not matter to you, but for her sake it was at least worth a shot." She turned back around and started to walk back towards her sandals but stopped again. "And don't worry, I won't speak to you again for the night." She said lightly before making it to her sandals and sitting down with her back to Celestine.

LaRae jerked to a stop when Nanashi took hold of her shoulders. She must have seemed a little like a doll the way she moved when he turned her around. She didn't react in the slightest even when told her to snap out of it. She was still unconscious and couldn't hear a word spoken to her though she was just barely able to register that someone was touching her. To her it was so strange, knowing that someone was touching you but being unable to hear them or see them. Having been brought to a stop didn't stop the magic seeping out from her. In fact the ground below them had sank about two feet and in a five foot radius. Slowly it was creating a small crater.

Renzo hadn't been too far off from where Nanashi stopped LaRae. He'd actually been waiting for her to get a little closer to him, but since he noticed she was no longer moving he decided to go the rest of the way to her. He stopped not far from them, he was able to see them clearly. He was standing, leaning himself against a tree that LaRae hadn't bent just yet. While Gesa was sitting directly below him on the ground. He couldn't help but laugh when he saw that Nanashi was trying to get her to come to. Of course he knew that wouldn't work but where was the fun if he told him there was no way that he could bring her back around. "You know... You should leave before she accidentally kills you." He said in a rather cocky tone.

Hikari sighed softly. "...So am I... but even still... I'm half afraid to go looking for them." she admitted. She didn't think it was a good idea for any of them to be around LaRae right now, but Nanashi had already gone after her and there was no stopping that.

Celestine didn't even bother looking at Aamori as she finished up. He sighed quietly when she reminded him of the slap and half thought of doing it again. Instead he moved both arms to cross behind his head, lacing his fingers together before leaning back on his hands. He kept his eyes toward the sky and sighed. "...Whatever...Fine." he muttered absently as if he was barely listening to a word she said. By the time she'd stopped talking he was just staring absently up at the stars, looking rather distracted. His mind had wandered elsewhere again. He was wondering just how sure Nero was that there was only one person and a mutt following them.

Nanashi's ears laid back and he quickly glanced over to the man that was leaning against the tree for a moment. It didn't take him but a second to realize who that was. He also was aware that he and LaRae were sinking into the ground. His voice didn't seem to be reaching her, and she apparently couldn't see him, but he wasn't about to give up. Something had to get through to her. He looked at her for a moment and then raised a hand to her cheek, the one opposite from Renzo, and gently caressed it. "LaRae, listen to me... stop it!" he said in a softer, more urgent tone. If nothing else was getting through to her he hoped she could at least feel him and know it was him. He wrapped his arms around her and continued telling her to stop and calm down. He leaned closer, probably looking to Renzo like he was whispering in her ear, but instead he gently pressed his lips against her cheek. "Come on LaRae... snap out of it!" He said again in that save urgent tone. He knew he was ricking his neck now at this, but he wanted to be damn sure that she didn't do what she was always afraid that she was going to do and he didn't want Renzo of all people to be the one to put a stop to it. The way he stopped her last time he just ended up hurting her and getting her stuck for a while. "LaRae, please...listen to me... You're in there somewhere, stop this!" he said as he held her a little closer. "Enough already, can't you understand!?"

Kyran gently lifted his arm up and wrapped it around Hikari, pulling her a little closer. "I wouldn't worry too much. If anyone can talk her down, I'm almost positive that he could..." He said quietly as he glanced down at her. He probably would've been one of the ones to go after her, had she not been capable of total destruction just from being pushed to the limit. He gave a soft sigh. He really would rather think that nothing bad was going to happen.

LaRae was still unable to hear a word that was spoken to her; It was like talking to a brick wall. Though she was able to feel his hand when it touched her face. Ordinarily that probably would've brought a smile to her face. When he wrapped his arms around her, followed by his lips to her cheek she was almost positive that she knew who it was. The touch was so familiar. It took a few moments but she managed to quiver her bottom lip. It wasn't very much movement, but she had at least started to regain some control. Her eyes were still glazed over for the most part and the rest of her still didn't move, and the magic flow hadn't stopped just yet. In fact the crater was very slowly growing in size. After another few moments had passed you'd notice that her eyes were slowly starting to come back. You could just barely see them, and they were still covered in the thin sheet of color. She was able to make out nothing more then a very blurry figure before her eyes were gone again. Obviously she was trying to fight it. Her lip quivered again, and though this time she managed a little more. "...N-Nana...s-shi...." She mumbled rather quietly. You could tell just from the tone of her voice, even with such little spoken that she was in pain. The mark on her back had been burning her for quite sometime.

Renzo didn't bother suppressing his laughter, in fact he'd made a point to laugh every chance he got. "How many times are you going to keep talking to her before you realize she can't hear you?" He asked in the same tone as before. He glared at Nanashi the moment he saw him wrap his arms around her. He didn't like anyone touching LaRae like that, she was going to be his after all. He crossed his arms over his chest and turned up his nose. His eyes traveled back down when he heard what little words came from her mouth. His eyes had widened slightly and he was flat out pissed that a mere half breed had somehow managed to get through enough to get her to speak. He scoffed and stared down for a moment. "I bet your proud of yourself for getting that out of her, aren't you?" He muttered as he lifted his hand gently. It started to glow much the same way that LaRae's always did when she was using magic. He smirked and merely snapped his fingers. Immediately the mark on her back reacted and started burning even more, sending a sharp jolt of pain throughout her body. The pain was so unbearable that even in her now semi-unconscious state it forced her to cry out for a moment before reverting straight back to the doll like state. He smirked and set his hand back down. He wasn't prepared to be outdone so easily by some half breed. "Oops.. Looks like my magic slipped..." He said with a laugh. He had no intention of letting her get to the point of destroying everything around them, but he wouldn't mind pushing her to the limit just to win out against that boy.

Hikari sighed softly. "Yeah... I know..." she said softly. She nuzzled against him lightly when he pulled her closer and closed her eyes for a moment. "...I hope you're right..." she said quietly. She was still worried, that was obvious enough. She still wished she could go after her, but she knew better.

Nanashi smiled weakly when he heard LaRae say his name. "Yes..." he said quietly. He nodded to her, keeping his eyes on hers and ignoring Renzo's taunts...at least until LaRae yelped. He glared over to Renzo for a moment and almost growled but he didn't have time for that. he quickly turned his attention beck to LaRae again and tried again, wrapping his arms around her again, but this time he rested his forehead right against hers, forcing his eye open beneath the bandanna. He hated using this, but it was better than the other way. At least this way he could hear into her thoughts as long as they were connected like this. "LaRae...listen to me! Please, LaRae... I know you're in pain, but I need you to come back to me... come on, LaRae, I know you're in here somewhere... answer me... fight Come on, you can do it! Control your power before you do something you regret." he thought to her as he held her close. "Come on..." He whispered. "Please...you almost had it..." He said quietly.

LaRae's whole body had tensed up when Renzo forced the mark on her back to react. She couldn't move again, not even a quiver to her lip. Though by now her heart was beating and thrashing around so hard that it felt like it would burst from her chest. She could still feel when he wrapped his arms around her and then when he rested his forehead to hers. She was easily startled in her own thoughts when she heard him. She hadn't heard him before now so of course she briefly wanted to know how that was possible. "...Nanashi... It hurts, so badly..." She paused. "...I... can't.... control it... I'm sorry.... It's too much... Please... Go away... quickly...."

Renzo just stared down at him when the guy pretty much ignored him. He was quite easily riled up when he saw Nanashi wrap his arms around LaRae again, and this time pressing his forehead against hers. He was just way too close to her for comfort. He glared at Nanashi and lifted his hand again, it didn't take much for him to have his hand glowing again and before you knew it he'd made rather thick roots burst forth from the ground and snake their way over to Nanashi rather quickly snatching up the guys arms and legs and prying him away from LaRae. The roots tightened around Nanashi's arms and legs once they'd pulled him a good three feet from her. Once he was sure the guy wouldn't get down too easily he lowered his hand finished with the spell, as soon as he did so the roots hardened much like the time LaRae was bound by them. He smirked, quite pleased with his handy work and then jumped down from the tree he was standing in. He sauntered over to stand near LaRae and glare at the guy. "You know... You shouldn't touch something that isn't yours. Especially if you don't want to lose a body part." He said before turning to look at LaRae. She did look rather pathetic not being able to fight back this time. He'd practically pushed her over the edge where she couldn't come back from and he knew it. Though, he could bring her back. Easily. He smirked again and moved so that he was standing in front of LaRae and he lifted up his hands running them along either side of her face. He just stared at her for a moment before his hands started glowing; He was starting to force the mark back into it's hibernation-like state but couldn't resist sealing the spell by leaning in and kissing LaRae.

Nanashi sighed when he heard her tell him to go away. "No, LaRae... I'm with you..." He thought back to her quietly. He startled and his eyes opened when he felt the roots around his arms and legs. "Wat the!?" he stated but he didn't even need to finish, he knew what was happening. He shot Renzo and all out death glare once he had been pulled away from LaRae and situated in the roots. "At least I am trying to do something!" He snapped back at him when he said that he shouldn't touch LaRae. "She isn't yours...if you really gave a damn about her you wouldn't make her suffer like that!" Frightened as Nanashi was at the moment, he was still pretty pissed off and he could have a sharp tongue on him on occasion. He realized that he was powerless here; Renzo could kill him on the spot and no one would be any wiser...the others would probably just blame LaRae, but for some reason, he wasn't too concerned with Renzo. He narrowed his eyes and growled low in his throat when Renzo killed LaRae. Of course now was the only time he could do that... He knew if she was conscious, she's probably try to bite him. Or at least he half hoped she would...then again that would only get her hurt. "...You make me sick..." he muttered under his breath.

Renzo started to pull away from her after a few moments had passed. His hands had moved in the process to support her since he'd made the marking hibernate for now; Which made her whole body go limp. She had regained consciousness slowly but was in shape to keep herself awake and moving; For now she'd just fallen asleep. Renzo of course knew that was going to happen. He smiled faintly at her and then for the more part he had also ignored Nanashi. He picked her up and carried her out of the crater that she'd made and walked her over to a grassy area and set her down gently. He lingered there for a moment before getting to his feet again and walking closer to Nanashi. He may have been acting like he ignored Nanashi, but he'd heard everything. He just stood there with arms crossed loosely over his chest. "The feeling is mutual." He said simply. "Oh, and I did do something... Something you, a mere half breed couldn't." He said in a cocky tone. "I'm aware that she hates when she destroys things because of the marking. Did you really think I was going to let her do that?" He paused and laughed softly. "If she has another one of those outbursts, she'll never be able to control her own power and she may as well be dead." He turned to glance back at LaRae for a moment. "Oh, and she is mine." He laughed again softly. "She was given to me as payment for agreeing to watch over her on this trip of yours." He smirked. "You shouldn't worry, I take good care of my things. I won't let her die."

Nanashi watched Renzo carry LaRae over to the grass and lay her down. He glowered at Renzo for a few moments when he came over to talk to him. "...I was doing just fine before your magic 'slipped' as you put it." he said darkly, "You underestimate her... If you would just leave her alone she could control herself..." He said in a certain tone, "It may be hard but she could do it..." He gave Renzo another dirty look when he said that her family gave her to him. "You're so proud of yourself for that, aren't you?" he asked in that same cold tone. "You say that like you won some kind of prize...she's not a piece of property. You two used to be friends even and now she can't even stand to be around you, and I can't blame her! Her treat her like a dog, not a woman. I don't care what kind of mark she has on her or what your elders say, you have no right to treat her that way or to claim her as your...possession!"

Renzo kept a straight face throughout most of what Nanashi had to say, only managing a small laugh here and there. "The opinion of a mere half breed, and from a different clan no less... Doesn't matter. Just because you don't agree with how things work in our Clan doesn't mean anything is going to change." He commented. "Also, it's impossible for anyone with a mark to control their powers by themselves. It wouldn't be a very good 'curse' mark then would it? The Elders tell them that just to give them some hope." He laughed softly. "The excruciating pain one feels when they're losing control like that makes it impossible for one to do anything by themselves. Though, I'm sure you picked up on that." He paused. "The cursed ones die eventually if they can't figure out how to control themselves with someone else's help. That's where I come in. I have the ability to make it stop, and eventually the mark will go away all together. It's just a matter of talking her into being with me." He shrugged lightly. "That won't be all too difficult, after all she'll do what ever the Elders tell her to... And I've got an Elder on my side." He paused thinking about the last thing Nanashi had said. "Possession? She is a possession. If you wanted to be technical she's a weapon, along with every other marked one in our Clan." He paused. "And by me showing interest in her is the only thing that has kept her alive to this day. If I didn't want her then the Elders would've had her destroy herself along with a whole village or town by now. So you should be thanking me for keeping her alive this long." He muttered. He continued to stand there for a moment longer, he was thinking about leaving but had one last thing to say. "Oh, I assume from your tone and the things you've said that you also have feelings for her." He paused with a faint smirk. "Don't get too attached, she's already spoken for."

Nanashi gave Renzo another evil look when he started saying that his opinion didn't matter. "You think I don't know that!?" he spat back at him, "I don't care if it matters, it still isn't right!" He couldn't, not he wouldn't believe that LaRae had absolutely no control over herself. "No one controls anything completely..." he said quietly. "She is not a weapon, she is a girl... ans she is my friend no matter what you say." he said angrily. He tried to pull against the roots finally, but they were too thick for him to break like this. "Release me already!" He snapped at him as he thrashed against the root once. He was clearly pretty agitated either way, but what Renzo said did rattle him a little. He didn't want LaRae to die, but he didn't want her to have to suffer through Renzo.

Renzo stared at Nanashi and gave a smirk when he saw that he couldn't get free from the bindings. He shook his head lightly. "Poor little half breed can't even get down from that... I'm not even trying that much." He said in his usual cocky tone. He barely lifted his hand and waved it slightly; The root bindings around Nanashi's arms and legs loosened suddenly and then shot right back down into the ground. He continued to stand there for a few moments longer. "It isn't right?" He paused. "It doesn't have to be right. It's how things work." He commented. "You of all people should know that just because you think something isn't right, or fair that it isn't going to change. It's always going to be this way and it'll never be 'right' in your eyes." He didn't say anything else, he just turned around and started to walk back over towards LaRae. He stopped just beside her and knelt down touching the side of her face, then brushing her behind her ear gently.

Nanashi huffed when Renzo started taunting him again. He ignored the taunts and just concentrated on the roots, getting ready when the loosened to drop to the ground. He landed in a crouch and then straightened up again. He continued to give Renzo that angry, bitter look but he let him talk again. "...As if someone like you would know..." He said bitterly. "You have no idea how she feels do you? Or do you not even care? How dare you even think t say that you show feelings for her...the way I see it now you don't feel anything at all. Of course you have no problem with the way things are...you were dealt the better hand... were your roles reversed I doubt that you would be so quick to accept the way things are, either." he said darkly. He walked a little closer to LaRae and climbed out of the crater that she'd made, coming to stop near Renzo. He looked down at Larae with real concern in his eyes, and just tried not to look at Renzo at all. He was going to keep running his mouth until he got himself hurt but for once...he really didn't seem to care.

Renzo pulled his hand back and just looked down at LaRae for a few moments longer. He just barely looked over his shoulder at Nanashi when he noticed the guy had come over. "...Frankly, I don't care how she feels." He said bluntly as he stood up. "How see feels really means nothing when it comes down to it. The Elders really don't care how many of us feel, but if we have connections then things work out a little better in the end." He paused and glanced over at Gesa. "Go ahead Gesa and get going, I'll be right behind you." He said simply before looking back down at LaRae. "Rather then stand here wasting my breath on you, I'm going to leave. But don't worry, I won't be far behind." He said with a smirk before he started to follow after Gesa.

"...Of course you don't." Nanashi said flatly when he said that he didn't care how LaRae felt. He closed his eyes and just stood there, trying to bite back further comment. Only when Renzo said that he wouldn't be far behind them. "...By all means...stay as far back as you like..." he muttered mostly to himself. He sighed and sat down beside LaRae once Renzo was gone and gently ran his hand over her cheek, waiting to see if she was going to wake up anytime soon. He wanted to talk to her before he went dragging her back to the others.

LaRae had barely moved an inch since she'd been laid down on the grass. She was completely tuckered out from the marking and had been asleep. She could probably sleep well into tomorrow afternoon if she wasn't bothered but since she had regained consciousness she had been trying to wake herself up. She finally stirred slightly when she felt someone touch her cheek. It took her a few moments but she started to crack her eyes open. She had to blink a few times before she could get focused on anything around her. "...N-Nana...s-shi?" She mumbled quietly.

Nanashi smiled weakly when LaRae opened her yes. "...Yes, LaRae..." he said quietly, his ire fading completely from his voice. He placed his hand on her cheek lightly and sighed. "Are you alright?" he asked before gently sliding his other arm under sher shoulders and lifting her up a little. "...You scared me for a minute there..." he said softly as he combed his fingers back through her hair. He really didn't care if Renzo was still in the area or not, he was still going to treat LaRae the same as he had any other time. She was now officially his best friend, since apparently she was 'spoken for'. Surely no one would have a problem with that.

LaRae nodded faintly. "...Yes, I-I'm alright." She said quietly. She didn't know exactly what had gone on, since she couldn't see or hear anything. From what she could remember though, she was losing control and Nanashi was talking to her and she could hear him somehow. Then suddenly she couldn't hear him anymore no matter how hard she tried to be able to hear. Then she was pretty sure that someone else had touched her, kissed her even and then she was waking up on the ground. She was a little confused, mostly because nothing was really destroyed. At least not nearly as bad as previous times. She gave a soft sigh and stopped trying to piece together everything. "...I'm sorry... I told you not to follow me, for that reason..." She said quietly before lifting her hand to rub her eye gently.

Nanashi shook his head slightly. "...It's alright...don't apologize..." he said softly. "...I was trying to help you..." He wrapped his arms around her gently and pulled her close to him. "I'm glad you're alright now...but I'm sorry I couldn't do more..." he said quietly. He nuzzled against her head lightly with his cheek and then pulled his head back to look at her. "...LaRae...will you come back with me?" He asked softly. "...I know the others upset you but...we have to stick together... I don't want you to leave..." he said softly. "...Please?... even if it's just for me? ...You know Celestine is just being a pain in the ass... he always is... I don't think he meant half of what he said. I'm sure he'll be over everything by morning and so will everyone else..." he tried to tell her. That's how it had been going recently at least. Half the the time the feud didn't even last the night.

LaRae shook her head lightly. "...You don't need to apologize either." She said quietly. "...It means a lot to me... Knowing you at least tried..." She mumbled. She gave a soft sigh and averted her eyes. "...I never intended to leave Nanashi." She paused. "...I can feel it, when I'm about to outright lose control... I had to get away from all of you..." She sighed again. She was well aware that Celestine was an ass, that was the way he was after all. What he said had bothered her, but it wasn't really anything she hadn't heard from before and ordinarily it wouldn't have agitated her to the point her mark reacted but since just a day previously her mark had acted up it didn't take much to set it off again. "...I'll go back with you..." She said quietly glancing over at him with a faint smile.

Nanashi smiled slightly when she said that she was coming with them. "...Okay..." he said softly. He nuzzled against her again and then started to get up, gently pulling her to her feet as well. "...Can you walk?" he asked softly. He could tell that she was still pretty well exhausted, so he barely waited for an answer before he scooped her into his arms. Apparently the question was just a formality. "I'll carry you...just rest, okay? You look worn out." he said as he started forward. It wasn't hard to find his way back. He finally glanced around at the twisted trees and laughed softly. "...Think you can fix these?" He asked with a soft chuckle. He was joking of course, but it would be interesting to see.
