Kanone just smiled weakly and rubbed the back of his head slightly. "Yeah...guess not." he said simply, "But then again there's plenty of oxygen around, it's hard to waste." he said with a laugh before he turned to go to the door. Obviously the guy didn't really want to be bothered.
Hikari looked down to Nobu again and smiled, "Oh, you want out?" she asked after she noticed him looking at the door. She stepped past him and was just about to reach for the handle when the door flew open and smacked her right in the face. She fell back on her tail and raised her hand to her nose. "Ooow..." she muttered. She felt something running down her face and sighed. Perfect... Kanone's eyes widen. "Ah! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm so so sorry!" he said quickly. He had a habit of shoving the door open really hard since it tended to get stuck a lot during the summer when the wood swelled a little. He stepped into the house and knelt down in front of her. "You're not bleeding are you? Oh god you're bleeding!!" |
Nero gave a soft sigh and turned his head away when Kanone finally started for the door. Though he rather quickly glanced back over in that direction when he heard the guy apologizing quickly. He shook his head with a soft laugh; Obviously Kanone had hit someone on his way in the house.
Nobu was glad that Hikari got what he was trying to tell her. Not everyone payed attention enough to him to get the hints; Especially Minako. She could be so dense sometimes. He looked at the door and waited for her to open it but took a step back when he saw it open before her hand touched the knob. He rather quickly turned his head away just before the door made contact with her face and then glanced back when he heard Kanone apologizing. He shook his head lightly and looked at Hikari noticing too that she was bleeding. |
Kanone stood up again quickly, "Um... um just wait right there, I'll get a towel!" he said quickly before he went dashing for the stairs. He ran down the hall and into the bathroom, looking for a rag or something, preferably one that was already red. It didn't take him too long to find one before he can dashing back down the hall again.
Hikari just held her hand over her nose and tilted her head back. "A na--" she started and then sighed. Oh geez... She stood up again and stepped outside to the edge of the porch, trying to keep from bleeding on the floor inside. She didn't think her nose was broken or anything, but it certainly hurt and was gushing. |
Nero glanced back to the door when he heard someone coming outside. He gave a sigh seeing Hikari, and she was bleeding. He started to get up and dust himself off a little before wandering over to her. He stopped next to her, but moved around so that he was standing in front of her. Then reached over taking her wrist lightly and pulling it away from her nose so he could look at it. He took his other hand and touched her nose; Checking it. "...Doesn't look like anythings broken." He said quietly before taking a step back and pulling his shirt off over his head and handing it to her. "Here, use this." He paused. "It's better then your hand." He commented. Since his shirt was black he didn't really care if it got blood on it. Then again regardless of the color of his shirt he wouldn't have cared. It was the only thing he had to offer to try and help with the bleeding. "...Once that stops bleeding you should probably put some ice on your nose." He paused and looked away. "...It's probably going to swell."
Nobu watched as Kanone darted up the stairs and shook his head lightly before looking back to Hikari. Sometimes he hated being a canine, he'd have liked to do something to help but unfortunately you can only do so much when you're an animal. He started after her once she got to her feet and went outside. He stepped off to the side once he got outside and watched Nero get up and go over to Hikari as he sat down on the porch. |
Hikari blinked when Nero came around to stand in front of her and pulled her hand away from her nose. She had blood running all down the lower part of her face. She just stared at him until he reached for her nose and then she tried to back up, and probably would have fallen off the porch if there hadn't been a beam behind her. She gasped when he touched her nose and clenched her jaw to avoid yelping as she closed her eyes tightly. She opened her now slightly watery eyes again when Nero spoke to her and then watched him remove his shirt. She stared at him for a moment and then averted her eyes, "Nero, I'll ruin your shirt." she said as she covered her nose with her hand again. "Kanone's getting me a towel, but...but thank you." she said softly.
Kanone hurried back down the stairs and dashed to the door again, guessing he must have gone outside. He started to run outside again. "Here I got a--GAH!!" He yelped as he fell out the door and landed flat on his face in the middle of the porch. His foot had caught on the threshold of the door when he was running out and tripped him. He still had his arm outstretched with the rag in his upturned hand. "Ow......" |
Nero gave a sigh hearing that she didn't want to ruin his shirt and then he was about to say something but looked over to the door when he heard, then saw Kanone take a fall and hit the porch. He just stared at him for a moment with a quirked brow before he shook his head slightly. He took his shirt and stuffed it partially into his back pocket before moving over to take the rag from Kanone's hand. He didn't bother asking how he was, he really didn't care at the moment. He turned his attention back to Hikari. He reached for her hand again, pulling it away from her nose once more. He didn't bother handing the rag over to her, rather he started whipping the blood from the lower part of her face; Surprisingly being careful about how much pressure he was using when he got near her nose. He finally stopped when she wasn't quite so bloody and then set the rag against her nose lightly before lifting her hand up to hold it in place. "Don't forget to ice that." He paused. "And I'd stay away from twinkle toes... Don't need him accidently hurting you again." He said as he turned and looked at Kanone.

Hikari cringed when Kanone fell on his face and then blinked when Nero took the rag and started to ripe the blood from her face. She was about to say something but she didn't really want to open her mouth with her nose gushing like that. She felt her cheeks turning slightly pink while he cleaned up her face and then she glanced down when he took her hand and pressed it against the cloth. "U-um... right..." she said quietly before she averted her eyes to look down to her feet. "Thanks..." She then turned her attention to Kanone when Nero said something about him. "Um..."
Kanone just laid there after he felt the cloth removed from his hand and sighed. Finally he started to push himself up and just crossed his legs and sat back. His ears drooped when Nero commented about staying away from him. "I said I'm sorry!" he whined. |
Nero glanced back to Hikari for a moment when she said thanks and just shrugged lightly before turning his attention back down to Kanone. "I know. You said it three times." He paused and gave a sigh. "You really should watch where you're going. You're liable to hurt yourself and or the people around you." He said lightly before glancing back to Hikari as he pulled his shirt from his back pocket. "And you need to stop looking down while you're still bleeding." He then turned and walked back over to where he'd been sitting before and started to put his shirt back on.

Kanone looked up to Nero when he said something about him being more careful and sighed heavily. "Yeah yeah..." he muttered as he stood up and wiped off his face. He'd gotten it pretty dirty when he fell. He sighed and looked over to Hikari again, "I really am sorry, I didn't know you were back there. See I always push the door really hard because it gets stuck sometimes in the summer and.... um... I'm sorry."
Hikari looked up again when Nero said that she should stop tilting her head down. "Oh...right." she muttered quietly as she tilted her head back again. She glanced over to Kanone again when he started talking and then smiled weakly. "...It's okay." she said softly, "I know." She sighed softly and started to head over to sit down by the steps with a light sigh. |
Nero got his shirt back on and started to tuck it back in before sitting right back down where he had been for a good chunk of the day. He didn't say anything else and probably even looked like he was ignoring them already. He made himself comfortable and tilted his head down slightly so that his hair fell into his face. For the most part it looked like he hadn't moved an inch from before.
Aamori was still laying on her stomach with her head rested against her arms; She lost herself in thought again. She finally heaved a sigh as she started to roll back over onto her back carefully. She was still a bit sore so she tired to be careful when she moved around. She stared up at the sky; It was dark but surprisingly relaxing since she was near the water. "...I should... probably head back..." She mumbled quietly, though she didn't move from where she was laying. |
Kanone just sighed softly and stuffed his hands into his pockets for a moment before stepping past Hikari, "I think I'm going to take a walk." He said simply. It hadn't quite been an hour, but it was already dark. He just shook his head and headed down the road again.
Hikari just sighed softly and closed her eyes as she leaned her head over to rest against the railing against the steps while she help the cloth to her nose. After a few minutes she finally took the cloth away to see if she was still bleeding. She was relieved to find that she wasn't. With a sigh she got to her feet and started back toward the door, though she paused for a moment to look over to Nero. "...Thanks for the help, Nero." she said softly before she opened the door and stepped inside. she just went upstairs to wash her face off for now, she'd get the ice in a few minutes. |
Nero continued to sit there quietly, actually wishing that it'd get quiet again. He was ready for them all to leave him alone again. It was nice hearing Kanone was leaving, now just for Hikari. He glanced back over towards her through his hair when she stared towards the door. "...Don't mention it..." He said before looking away again. His words had a dual meaning, at least he meant them to. He gave a relieved sigh once both of them had left.
Aamori finally started to push herself up from the ground. In the process she ended up slinging her arm over her stomach because it started protesting rather loudly. She hadn't been paying attention to it throughout the day because her mind was else where; But she hadn't had anything to eat since the few bites of bacon she had at breakfast. |
After she cleaned up a little, Hikari headed downstairs to the kitchen again to bother Sonia for some ice. Once she had that she went back to the sofa to lay down, keeping the ice pack on her face.
Kanone made short work of getting back to the bridge and sighed when he first saw Aamori still sitting there. "Hey... come on, it's dark already. Don't you think it's time to head back and get to bed?" he asked simply. He smiled slightly and rubbed the back of his head again, "I know it hasn't quite been an hour, but I figured after smacking Hikari int he face with a door I'd best make myself scarce." |
Aamori glanced up when she heard Kanone's voice. Of course the first thing to cross her mind was that it couldn't have been an hour yet. She gave a soft sigh reached over beside to grab her sandals and then she started to put them back on. "If you're trying to be scarce then why are you here trying to get me to come back... Doesn't that defeat the purpose?" She asked softly. She finished lacing up her sandals and then looked back up at him. "...And..." She paused. "...Why did you smack Hikari in the face with the door?" She quirked a brow slightly and then shook her head with a light chuckle. "If your hurting girls then I don't think it's safe for me to go anywhere with you."

Kanone glanced off to the side and sighed, "Well, she was coming out as I was going in." he said simply. "I didn't mean to bust her nose..." He still felt pretty bad about that. "Then I nearly killed myself coming back outside." He shook his head and looked back to Aamori again. "Well you can always go back by yourself. And you know you're not at the house, so technically I'm still making myself scarce around there." he said simply.

Aamori stared at him for a moment before giving a sigh. "Since when were you so depressing?" She asked surprised that he hadn't joked back for once. "It was an accident was it not? It isn't like Hikari is going to hold it against you." She said lightly. She looked away and continued to just sit there. "Well.. Since I can always do that.. I think I will." She paused. "I don't think I want to walk back with you the way you are right now anyway." She said then stuck her tongue out at him.

Kanone just looked back to her again. "I'm not being depressing. Look who's talking." He said simply, "I'm not always a total idiot, you know. It's getting late, I'm tired." he sighed and just rubbed his head again. "Well, go on back, I'll catch up later." he said simply. "I'm going this way." He said simply, pointing over the bridge toward the cemetery. "I want to see what they were talking about at breakfast."

Aamori half glared at him. She couldn't help the way she was feeling earlier and she certainly couldn't help being depressed about it. She was about to open her mouth to say something smart but was cut off when her stomach growled at her again. She gave a heavy sigh and then glanced back to him when he pointed and said where he was going. She hadn't been paying very close attention at breakfast so she couldn't remember exactly what he was referring to. She finally pushed herself up from the ground and dusted herself off a little before moving away from the river. "...If you're tired you should probably go back home and get in your bed." She commented before looking away. "...So what are you going to look at?"

Kanone shrugged slightly. "...The flowers." he said simply, "They were saying something about them at breakfast... I didn't know what they were talking about. Thought I'd go check it out before I crashed." he told her simply. "You can use the guest room again if you want." he told her simply before he turned and started walking back toward the cemetery. "See you in the morning, Aamori."

Aamori stood there for a moment after he started walking away. Obviously trying to decide wether or not she wanted to go back to the house or follow him and see what was with the flowers. She turned and looked at him for a moment before she started walking the same way he had. She wasn't really tired at present anyway so she didn't want to be bored sitting at the house when she could follow him.

Kanone glanced back over his shoulder for a moment when he heard her following behind him and half smiled. "Thought you didn't want to walk anywhere with me the way that I am?" he said with a soft chuckle. "The house is the other way. Or do you want to see the flowers, too?" he asked lightly. He really didn't mind either way if she wanted to come or go. He just didn't really want her handing around out here at night by herself. He didn't really think anything would happen, but you never know.

Aamori glanced up when he spoke and then shook her head lightly. "But I'm not walking with you. I'm a good few feet behind you... We just happen to be going to the same place." She said with a light smirk. "I half thought since I wasn't very tired that I'd go see the flowers too... At least I know these ones won't bite me.."

Kanone laughed softly and shook his head. "Well, so we hope. I don't know what kind of flowers these are." he said lightly. "I think it's safe to come and walk beside me." he said simply. He shrugged slightly as he continued forward. It was a pretty short walk back to the cemetery, and when he got there he stopped short and stared out over the field. "...Wow..." he muttered after he saw the multiple glowing flowers.

Aamori continued walking behind him, staring at his back. "If LaRae grew the flowers then they're safe." She commented. "...And maybe on the walk back I'll be willing to grace your side with my presence." She said with a slight chuckle. She continued to walk a few feet behind him, at least until he came to a stop at the cemetery. She finally stopped to, just off to his side and looked out across the field herself. She was quiet for a minute, not really sure what to say at the sight of those glowing flowers. She'd never seen anything quite like them before. They were awfully pretty. "...She really out did herself..." She said quietly.

Kanone glanced over to Aamori when she said that LaRae really outdid herself. He half smiled again and shook his head slightly before stepping out into the open path. "I guess so..." he said as he knelt down to examine one of the flowers. "I wonder what makes them glow like that..." He looked up again and walked over to a grave somewhere near the tree where Celestine's parents were buried and knelt in front of a small tombstone. "Haha. You're you enjoying this, squirt?" he said as he put his hand on top of the stone. The stone read "Helios" and only had about a 5 year span between the dates that were written below the name.
