Aamori glanced over at Kanone briefly when he went to look at one of the glowing flowers a bit more closely. "..When we were little LaRae tried to do stuff like this." She paused. "She never had the energy to cover more then maybe a ten by ten foot area... And the flowers were never... so vast in variety. They were usually all the same and dead within a few hours." She sighed softly. "So, this is a huge improvement since then... and quite impressive, especially with these glowing flowers." When he started a bit further in she finally got her feet moving to follow after him. She kept a decent amount of distance between them; She felt it a little awkward to intrude when someone was near a grave like that. She stood quietly. She'd looked over once and then started looking off in other directions.

Kanone glanced back to Aamori again when she said something about when they were kids. "Oh, so you and LaRae have known each other for a long time then, huh?" he said simply as he backed away from the grave and moved closer back to her. He smiled slightly and looked around again with a sighed. "Well, ready to head back?" he asked simply. "That was all I wanted to see."

Aamori glanced back to Kanone when he mentioned her knowing LaRae for a long time. "...I guess you could say that." She paused. "When our clans were friendlier with one another I was able to meet her. Well.. It was more like an arranged play date I suppose. We grew to be pretty good friends, even with her difficult home life and everything else. Though, by the time she turned thirteen we weren't allowed to see each other anymore." She paused. "Things between our clans changed a little and it wasn't 'proper' for us to be friends anymore... This trip is actually the first time I've seen her since then." She said lightly. She gave a small nod. "Yes. I guess so." She paused. "I shouldn't keep you awake any longer then I already have." She said quietly before turning and starting back towards the house.

Kanone smiled weakly and started after her. "...That's kind of sad, actually." He said softly as he walked, stuffing his hands into his pockets. "It's sad the way clan dictates who you can and can't talk to and be friends with. Half of the people here would probably think my mom was nuts for letting that girl in our yard, let along in our house." he said simply. "I guess it wouldn't be 'proper' for me to ask why you two weren't allowed to see each other anymore... but I'm not a proper person. So what happened?"

Aamori glanced over to him for a moment before letting her eyes hit the ground. "Yeah, well... It's how things worked." She paused. "Her clan is more or less the issue. They set it up for her and I to be friends. I was supposed to try and help get her out of a mild depression. She found out when she was like six that her real parents died because of her and she got thrown into a rather mean and high ranking foster family." She gave another soft sigh. "Once she got over the depression and came 'of age' as they call it, I was no longer needed. And since her foster family is directly descended from an Elder.. Along with my own family.. We got separated for the 'good' of the clans." She paused and glanced back over at him briefly. "I guess that's the easiest way to put things. And if I go into anymore detail on either Clan, I may have to kill you." She said the last part pretending to be serious.

Kanone looked at her for a moment and then lowered his eyes. "Oh...I see." He said softly, "...That's...kind of pathetic." he said simply. He blinked when she said that she'd have to kill him. "Haha.... right." he said simply, "Well then I guess you'd best be quiet." he said simply. He smiled weakly and reached over to put his hand on her head. "...Well...I'm glad you two got to see each other again. I have no idea what's going on or what you people are doing, but maybe something good will come of it."

Aamori started to glance over at him but stopped when she felt his hand on top of her head. She soon after came to a stop all together and glared over at him. "What in the world is your fascination with touching my head...?" She paused. "And don't you even think of patting my head again." She said as stepped to the side out of reach of his hand. "...I assure you next time you pat my head I won't hold back on soaking you." She said with a smirk before she started walking again, only now with some distance between them.

Kanone looked over to Aamori again when she stopped and then sighed. "Whatever. It's just a habit. Cool your jets, would you?" He said dully as he averted his eyes. "Soak me if it makes you feel better, I really don't care. I'm not the one with a water phobia." he said simply. He started walking again before she even got moving again and then yawned. "...You get upset too easy." he said simply as he started over the bridge.

Aamori came to a stop again once she hit the center of the bridge. She gave a heavy sigh and looked over at him. "I'm sorry... I don't mean to get upset over silly things like that, Kanone." She paused. "...It' just, I asked you nicely to refrain from doing that. I even gave a reason and regardless of wether you're just being a pain or not you still do it and apparently even threatening you doesn't keep you from doing it either." She sighed. "Is it really a habit of yours to go around touching everyone's head.. or is it just certain people?" She asked quietly. She'd only ever noticed that he touched her head and Celestine's so of course she was curious how it could possibly be a habit.

Kanone paused again and looked back to her again and smiled slightly. "...Just people I like." He said with a slight smile, "Well, if they're shorter than I am." he said with a soft chuckle, "Too much work to go above my head." He looked back toward the house again and shrugged. "I used to pat Helios on the head all the time, and Cel actually used to pat me on the head." He said with a soft chuckle. "He was taller than me when we were little." He said simply.

Aamori glanced over to him and smiled slightly. "...I wish I was taller than you..." She said quietly. She moved over to the edge of the bridge and leaned against it. "I find it hard to believe, looking at the two of you now that Celestine used to be taller." She commented before staring down at the river. "...Helios? ...Family I assume?" She gave a soft sigh. She hadn't really given that tombstone a good look when he was near it but she did at least know that was the name that was on it.

Kanone watched her for a moment and then leaned back against the rail of the bridge. "Yeah, My little brother." He said simply. He laughed softly, "Kid used to follow me and Cel around like a little ducking and had to get into everything we did." He glanced over to her again and smiled, "I can show you a picture if you want, there's a picture of us on the wall in the hallway." he said simply. He tried not to sound depressed about it. After all they'd been pretty young, he had plenty of time to get used to the kid not being around anymore, and he still at least had his mother. "I think he's a big part of why mom took Cel in and babies him so much." He said lightly.

Aamori smiled a little. "Sounds like you're typical younger sibling." She said simply. She glanced over to him momentarily when she heard him say there was a picture in the hallway. She looked away again feeling slightly embarrassed. She'd been through that hallway how many times since they got here and she didn't remember seeing any pictures. She finally looked back over at him with a faint smile. "I'd like that. You can show me tomorrow." She paused. "You're still tired aren't you... You should go to bed." She said quietly.

Kanone smiled. "Eh, I'm not ready to fall on my face yet." He said simply, "I can show you when we get back...if we ever start walking again." He said with a soft laugh. "Come on..." he said, nodding toward the house again as he pushed away from the rail of the bridge and started to walk back toward the house again. "Besides, I'll probably forget by later anyway."

Aamori looked over at him and then gave a soft sigh when he told her to come. She half wanted to just stand there for awhile, it was nice by the water. She ended up standing up straight though and followed after him. "...At least one of the two of us isn't forgetful." She commented. Even if he forgot to show her in the morning, she'd have gotten up to look anyway.

Kanone smiled back to her again and laughed softly. "I can barely remember my own name in the mornings anyway." He stretched his arms over his head as he continued forward. He glanced back to her and smiled slightly before lowering his arms. He sighed softly when he saw the house coming into view again. Once he got to the porch he made his way up the steps and then glanced back to her again as he opened the door, making sure to push it open gently this time.

Aamori looked at him and shook her head slightly. "That must be a real problem... even your own name? Do you wake up in the mornings and wonder who's house you're in too?" She asked while laughing softly. Once they reached the house and he'd started for the door she just looked at him for a moment. "..Yes, I'm still behind you." She commented having noticed how many times he looked behind him to look at her. "And don't go hitting anyone with that door, that's just not nice." She joked lightly.

Kanone smiled slightly at her comment about wondering whose house he's in. "Heh, sometimes." He said simply. He shook his head when she commented on the door. "Ha ha, very funny." He said as he stepped inside. He waited for her to get in and then closed the door before walking over to the hallway. "Well...guess it's kind of hard to see right now, but that's him." He said with a smile as he pointed to the youngest boy int he picture of the three. The boy looked like he could have been Kanone's twin if he was a little older, they really looked identical, even their hair was styled the same way.

Aamori stepped inside after him and glanced around a little seeing who all was asleep. She noticed everyone except LaRae by the looks of it and quirked a brow slightly wondering where she'd gone. She glanced at Kanone when he headed for the hallway and followed him quietly. She looked at the picture when he pointed out his little brother. It may have been a little hard to see but she could make out enough of it. She smiled softly. "...You two look a lot alike." She said quietly. "Though he's cuter... I think the good looks might have gone straight to him." She said with a soft chuckle before glancing back over to him.

Kanone smiled as he looked at the picture. "Heh, yeah." he said simply at what she said about Helios being cuter. "He's a cute little bugger, and always will be." He said lightly, his eyes never coming away from the picture. He just looked at it for a few moments longer and then sighed as he stretched his arms up over his head. "Well, good night." he said lightly, finally turning away from the picture and starting back down the hall, "I suppose you can find your room." He said lightly, putting his hand on her head as he passed.

Aamori sighed heavily when she felt that damned hand touch her head again. Though she just let it go. "...Yes, I know where the room is." She said quietly. "Sleep well, Kanone." She added lastly. She lingered by the picture for a little while longer before giving another sigh and stepping into the kitchen. She glanced around and still didn't see LaRae. Ordinarily she might not have been concerned but since there was a sleeping Nanashi without a LaRae she was a little worried. She finally turned back around and headed back into the living room, double checking to make sure she wasn't just overlooking her friend. Sure enough she was right the first time and she didn't see LaRae anywhere. She heaved a heavy sigh and wondered where she could've gone. She guessed she could check the guest room just to make sure and if she wasn't there then she must have been outside somewhere.

Kanone just headed up the stairs to his room and changed into his night robe before crawling into the bed. He curled up under his cover and sighed, falling asleep rather quickly. He completely forgot to shut his door before he went to bed. He really was pretty sleepy, partially because he'd been bored most of the day, anyway.

Aamori wandered over to the bench in front of the large windows and sat down carefully and then started to remove her sandals. She then set them down beside her, only now spotting LaRae's boots next to the bench. Well, that at least told her that LaRae didn't go far if she was outside. She sighed and stood up then walked over to the stairs and climbed to the top walking quietly straight back to the guest room and peeking her head inside. Again, she didn't see LaRae. She stepped inside for a moment and lifted her foot up on the bed long enough to unbuckle her holster. She slipped it off and set it down on the bed before turning around and wandering back into the hall. She was about to go straight for the stairs but couldn't resist after seeing the open door directly across from the guest room. She stepped over and peeked her head inside briefly spotting Celestine asleep on the bed. She smiled softly and then turned back around and continued down the hall the rest of the way to the stairs; Making sure she watched where she was going. The last thing she needed was to slip and fall down these stairs. Once she reached the bottom she walked over to the front door and opened it a little before slipping outside. She really wasn't too sure where to check; She walked over to where Nero was sitting and looked down at him trying to figure out if he was awake or not.
Nero wasn't asleep just yet, though he was pretty close. If Aamori hadn't come back outside then he probably would be out cold right now. He glanced up at her from behind his hair when he noticed her move closer to him. "...What?" He asked shortly. Aamori jumped when she saw Nero move and then the tone he used. She stood back up straight and looked down at him. "...Have you seen LaRae?" She asked quietly. Nero rolled his eyes slightly at her question and then tilted his head back down and shut his eyes. "...Last I saw she'd gone around back." He muttered. "Now go away and let me sleep." Aamori gave a slight nod and then turned to get down from the porch. "..Thanks Nero." She said as she started for the back. When she finally got around back she wasn't to surprised to see LaRae asleep on the ground. Though she wondered why she even fell asleep outside when it was nicer inside. She wandered over and knelt down next to her, reaching over and tapping her shoulder lightly. Of course she didn't move. She was a heavy sleeper after all. She gave a heavy sigh and shifted slightly so that she could sit on the ground. She wouldn't be able to wake LaRae without yelling and she certainly couldn't move LaRae by herself. She sighed and continued to sit there next to her until she caved and laid down on the ground too. |
Celestine managed to get through the night, though he was awake very early the next morning. He sighed heavily when the sun rose and shone in his eyes and then rolled away. He was glad that he'd slept so well the day before with Nobu's help, because his sleep last night was restless. He had dreamed as he'd needed to, but even still none of it made much sense. He sighed heavily and finally crawled out of bed and started toward the bedroom door. He headed downstairs again and looked around briefly. He was up even before Sonia it appeared. He sighed softly and went to the kitchen to grab an apple and then walked back to the front door and slipped outside. He glanced over to Nero briefly and then stepped off the porch without a word to him, since he appeared to be asleep anyway. He sighed and just tossed the apple up and down a few times as he started around the house. He blinked when he saw the two girls asleep in the grass and then shook his head before walking over to Aamori and nudging her with his foot.

Aamori must have been a lot sleepier then she originally thought because mere minutes after she'd laid down on the ground next to LaRae she'd fallen asleep. She managed to sleep decent enough, but it sure as hell wasn't as nice as the bed she got to sleep in the previous night. She had barely moved an inch from the time she laid down. However she shifted slightly when Celestine nudged her with his foot. She didn't wake right away, but she had rolled onto her side and in the process reached out and absently took hold of his foot rather tightly.
