Aamori again just stood there listening to what he had to say, obviously he needed someone to listen to him. She gave a sigh and her ears laid back slightly. "...Just because crying won't bring someone back doesn't mean it won't help one to feel better. And it sounds to me like you're afraid of crying..." She paused. "..And if you cry then that means you feel something.." She added quietly. She still wasn't sure how to go about making him feel better. She gave another sigh and finally gave up with trying to just stand there. She stepped directly in front of him and put her arms around him to pull him close so she could hug him. She couldn't think of anything else to do. "I don't ever want to hear you imply again that you were responsible for that." She said quietly. "...If you keep feeling guilty about it... It's just going to eat you alive..."

Celestine kept his eyes down while she spoke. Maybe he was afraid to cry. Crying would just make it seem...real. If he cried, that meant that he accepted the fact that both of them had been ripped out of his life and were never coming back. He was never going to get to say anything to either of them ever again. He already knew all of that, but he still felt like he was in some surreal fog that was just going to go away someday. He nearly jerked back when Aamori wrapped her arms around him and then turned his head slightly to look at her. The tears that were gathering in his eyes had already subsided, but he still looked sad. After a moment he just laid his head against her and then finally raised his arms slowly to wrap around her middle. "..."

Aamori glanced down at him when he looked up at her. She hated seeing him look so sad. She was a little surprised when he didn't pull himself away from her. She smiled weakly and then gently lifted one of her hands to touch the top of his head lightly. "...It's okay to cry because your hurting, because you miss them and wish they were still alive." She paused. "...They're still alive in your heart and memories, and always will be. And... just because they aren't physically here doesn't mean that they aren't watching over you..." She said quietly.

Celestine just closed his eyes and nuzzled against Aamori, tightening his grip on her a little. He really didn't know what to say, so he just kept quiet for now. He was glad for some words of comfort and not just 'I know' or 'I miss them, too' or 'you're not the only one who lost someone.' He knew that he wasn't the only one, but that didn't make it any easier and hearing it didn't help at all. He seemed pretty contend with just leaning there for a while until he heard a loud grumble. He blinked and pulled back a little, looking down. "...Was that your stomach or mine?" he asked blankly before a hint of smile crept to his face.

Aamori continued to stand there with her arms around him, intending to let him say that way as long as he wanted. Though she too heard the loud grumble and didn't bother looking down when he pulled back a little. She had an extremely embarrassed look on her face just because she knew that was her stomach. She hadn't eaten anything since yesterday morning and she wasn't so sure that a couple bites of the piece of bacon really counted as even eating. After a moment she removed one of her hands from him and gently placed it over her stomach. "...Sorry about that..." She mumbled still quite embarrassed.

Celestine lowered his arms to his lap again and smiled weakly when he actually saw her expression. He let out a faint chuckle and then pushed her back lightly so he could stand up. "...Sonia should have breakfast ready by now...and the others are probably up by now... We should be leaving pretty soon, too." He said simply, though he tilted his head slightly to look at her again. "...Were you going to put your hair back or leave it the way it is?"

Aamori gave a soft sigh once her stomach had quieted down again and then looked at him briefly once he'd stood up. She smiled faintly when he said Sonia should have breakfast ready. "..Maybe this time I'll actually get to eat it.." She commented quietly. She glanced back to him when he asked about her hair. "...You said I should do something with it and I thought I would, but I can't. I don't have anything to tie it back with." She gave a small sigh; If she really had to she did know how to knot her hair to keep it back but that was always a pain in the ass to get out and straightened again.

Celestine looked at her for a moment and then walked over to the dresser again, though he deliberately kept his eyes away from the picture. He opened the drawer again and started to shift around in it again before he found a leather thong like he usually tied his hair back with. "...This should work." He said simply, tossing it back to her. "And you know...you could have stayed to finish your breakfast yesterday..." He said simply. I just wanted someone to come with me to elp me remember the directions...not that I got any."

Aamori watched him head back to the dresser to rummage around in it. She started to move closer to him and then caught the leather strip he tossed to her. She looked at it for a minute before sticking it in her mouth for a briefly while she bent over and gathered her hair in her hands. She always had trouble with putting her hair up just because of the way her horns nearly wrapped around her head. She either had to have a high ponytail or a low one right against her neck. She gathered her hair tightly in one hand and then took the other to grab the leather. She slipped one end of the strip under her finger while it held her hair in place and then started wrap the strip around her gathered hair tightly making sure it was secure before taking both of her hands; one end in each hand and then tying the ends off. She gave a sigh and stood back up straight brushing her hair over her shoulder. She'd tied her hair up in a high pony right above where her horns almost came together. "...I was asked to go with you, so I did." She said simply.

Celestine watched her put her hair up and then tilted his head slightly. "...I didn't ask..." he said as if he were missing something. He shook his head slightly and sighed, "Oh, you mean LaRae." he said as if he should have gotten it the first time. He didn't bother to comment on her not coming; he was glad that he didn't have to be seen walking through town with her; though he had a feeling if she was there he might not have gotten jumped by those two crazy girls. He finally turned around and waved with his hand. "Well...lets go see if there's any food left." he said simply as he started out into the hallway and made his way for the stairs.

Aamori gave a slight nod. "...Yeah." She paused. "I think LaRae for the most part has been keeping herself cooped up in here just because she knows you didn't want to bring her here to begin with." She said with a sigh. When he started out of the room she followed after him, but stopped in the hallway and turned back around. "I need to grab something." She said as she walked back and went into the guest room, straight over to the bed and picked up her holster before turning back to the hallway. She went straight down the hall and down the stairs making sure to drop her holster down on top of her sandals in the process of heading for the kitchen.

Celestine just sighed softly. "Well staying here won't hurt her. She's better off." he said simply. He paused whens he said that she needed to get something and then nodded before heading back to the stairs again and starting down them. He noticed that the living room had cleared out, or at least Nanashi and Hikari were gone off the couch. He just sighed softly and started into the kitchen.

Hikari had gotten up fairly early this morning, but it was still after Celestine and Aamori went upstairs. She'd just come to the kitchen to get something to eat since she smelled food cooking. Her nose wasn't swollen, but it was bruised, though the bruises already looked like they were several days old and close to fading, they were just barely noticeable. She had already pretty much finished eatng and was now just sitting, staring at her plate silently.

Nanashi had gotten up not long after Hikari and finally went to look for LaRae since he never noticed her come back inside. He'd found her out back and tried to wake her, but eventually he found himself back in the house trying to get something to eat , though he was mostly just sitting there until Sonia started to complain that he wasn't eating and shoved food on his plate for him. Even at that he didn't feel too hungry, so he was just nibbling at the food.

Kyran was actually awake fairly early though he hadn't budged from where he was sitting on the floor, at least until he saw Hikari head for the kitchen. He followed after her moments later. He had already finished the food on his plate and had leaned back in the chair with his arms crossed loosely over his chest.

LaRae had managed to sleep for quite a while, mostly because that little stunt that she pulled the other day; Growing all those flowers really took a lot of out of her and it was taking a little longer then she thought to gain back the majority of her energy. When Nanashi ended up outside trying to wake her she barely stirred at all, but she did finally manage to get herself up and moving a little after he'd already gone back inside. She too ended up back in the house looking to get something to eat since she smelt breakfast as soon as she entered the house. She had just finished up the last of the food that was on her plate.

Nero had been awake quite early this morning, just minutes before Celestine and Aamori ended up going into the house. Though he continued to sit on the porch like he was still asleep even when Nanashi wound up outside briefly, and then again when LaRae ended up heading inside. He wasn't very hungry so he didn't bother with getting up to go inside.

Aamori's stomach was already growling again by the time she made it through the hall and into the kitchen. She rested her hand against her stomach trying to quiet it as she glanced around at the others, who apparently had already eaten for the most part.

Sonia looked up from her plate when Aamori and Celestine came into the kitchen and smiled slightly. "Good morning, you two. You're up late." she said lightly. She finally gathered her plate and went to go put it in the sink before she pulled down two more plates and handed one to each of them.

Celestine took the plate and went to claim an empty seat at the table. "...Actually I was up before you were." he said simply before he started to put a little food on his plate. He sighed softly and started to take a few bites, eating probably about as slow as Nanashi was.

Hikari finally reached over to take Kyran's plate and then took her own and started for the sink with them. She put the dishes down and then smiled slightly to Sonia before she finally started to head back to the living room again. She sat down on the sofa again and sighed softly before leaning her head back and closing her eyes. She'd still been worrying over what she thought they'd figured out the night before.

Nanashi finally finished picking at what was left on his plate and took it up as well, though he paused to take LaRae's as well since she was finished as well. He sat the plates down in the sink and then turned back to start back to the table again.

Kyran looked up briefly when he noticed Hikari taking his plate away. He sighed heavily having yet another girl cleaning up his plate for him. Thinking about it now he'd just have to be faster about it next time. He stood up from the table a few minutes after Hikari had and then wandered back into the living room himself and sat down on the couch beside her. He glanced over at her and gave a sigh. "...What we talked about last night still troubling you?" He asked quietly as he leaned back on the couch.

LaRae glanced at Nanashi when he took her plate and smiled slightly. "Thank you." She said simply before standing up from the table. She started towards the hallway but paused for a moment. "I'll be back." She started. "Just going to take my clothes down from the line." She said lightly before heading outside to get her clothes. She was more then ready to get out of this dress that she was wearing.

Aamori looked to Sonia when she handed her a plate and smiled slightly before walking over to the table and sitting down. She wasted very little time putting food on her plate; She was half starved after all. She didn't bother saying anything, she was going to be far too busy eating to talk anyway. She started on the food on her plate at a somewhat quick rate to shut her stomach up; It'd already started to growl again since she'd put food on her plate.

Hikari turned her head slightly before she let out a soft sigh and leaned her head over against him. "...A little." she admitted softly. She closed her eyes and nuzzled against him lightly. She knew that worrying was pointless, but she couldn't really help it. "It's alright...I just think too much."

Nanashi paused and then blinked. "...Oh...alright." he said quietly when LaRae started from the room. He sat back down again where he had been sitting and crossed his arms lightly over his chest.

Celestine continued to eat silently for a few moment before he finally glanced up to Nanashi. "...We're going to be leaving soon." he said simply, "...I told you I would find you a weapon before we left here."

Nanashi glanced over to Celestine slowly and sighed. "...I've never held a weapon in my hand in my life...and never care to. I wouldn't know how to use it if you gave it to me." he said simply.

"That's why you're going to learn." he said simply. "You've already proved once that you're not as dull witted as you like to make everyone think, you can learn."

Nanashi sighed softly and closed his eyes, clearly not very thrilled about this. "...Fine." he said quietly. "I can try..."

Sonia had just taken up washing the dishes at the sink, though she did glance back when Celestine mentioned leaving. "...Where are you going, dear?"

"...There's just somewhere we have to go. I wont be back for a while."

"...I see... but you are coming back, aren't you?"

"...I'm not making any promises that I don't know that I will keep. Perhaps." he said simply.

Sonia just sighed softly and turned back around to wash the dishes, though her ears drooped slightly as she worked.

Kyran looked down at her when she leaned her head against him and smiled slightly. "...I thought so." He said with a sigh. It was pretty obvious to him at least what she had been thinking about. He'd thought about it quite a bit yesterday but that was it. "...Have you at least thought about what else all of that could have meant, or are you still on the first idea?"

LaRae went straight out back to the clothes line without a word to anyone that she passed. She reached up and touched her jeans, she was sure they'd be dry by now but thought it didn't hurt to check. She smiled slightly, they were indeed dry and that meant she could get out of this dress. She took down her jeans and shirt and was about to hurry inside and change, but noticed Hikari's clothes along with Celestine's too. She set hers down on the grass and then took down the others clothes as well, making sure to fold them up. She gathered up all the clothes and started back to the front of the house and inside. She paused in the living room and walked over to the coffee table and then took Hikari's clothes from the pile and set them down. She then looked at Celestine's clothes and thought about taking them to him but decided not to and then set them down next to Hikari's. She glanced up at Hikari briefly. "..Here are your clothes, would you make sure that Celestine sees his?" She asked without waiting for an answer; She'd already taken her clothes and headed upstairs for the bathroom so she could change.

Aamori finished off the food on her plate and then scooted the chair out, standing and taking her plate. She then walked it over to the sink, setting it down so that it could get washed. She stood there for a moment before walking back over to the table and sitting down again. She'd listened to exchange between Celestine and Nanashi and gave a sigh. She glanced over at Nanashi for a moment. "Ya' know learning how to use a weapon isn't going to kill you." She paused. "And it's better if you have a way to protect yourself, just incase everyone else's hands are tied." She said lightly.

Hikari smiled weakly and shook her head. "I haven't been able to get past the first idea." she said softly. "I have been thinking but...well I haven't been able to come up with anything else." She raised her head up when she say LaRae lay her clothes down and smiled, "Thank you, I....will" she said, watching her walk away. She smiled slightly and shook her head before leaning back against Kyran again.

Kanone was finally coming out of his room and heading toward the stairs as LaRae was coming up. He was just about to round the corner to go down the stairs when she came around right in front of him. "Ah!" He yelped when he nearly smacked right into her. "Sorry..." He groaned.

Nanashi glanced up slowly and looked at Aamori. "...I guess... I just don't like weapons." he said and then smiled weakly, "Of course I'm usually at the wrong end of one." he said simply. He pushed the chair back again and stood up, "I will learn... I guess everyone will be better off that way. So I will learn." He said simply. He still did not sound happy about it, and he wasn't. Nanashi had never been the violent type at all, the worst thing that he'd ever shot off was his mouth. He finally turned and started back toward the living room again though once in there he just walked over to the opposite end of the couch from Kyran and Hikari and sat down.

Celestine just watched him wander off and sighed. "Looks like he likes weapons about as much as I do." He said simply. Celestine may have had a foul temper and was quick to strike, but usually preferred not to use weapons since he never really wanted to seriously injure or kill anything if he could avoid it, though if it did come to killing something he tried to make it as quick and painless as possible.

Kyran gave a soft sigh. He wasn't surprised that she hadn't thought of anything else either. Though, he was a little curious to know if Celestine had thought of anything yet. He glanced up briefly when LaRae set the clothes down and watched her leave. He leaned his head back on the couch again, at least until he noticed Nanashi come into the room and sit on the couch. He glanced over at him. "...You alright?"

LaRae was just barely paying attention to where she was going and came to a stop after she reached the top of the stairs when Kanone almost ran into her. She just looked at him for a moment before stepping off to the side to go around him. "It's alright." She said lightly. "Just don't fall down the stairs again." She added before continuing on down the hall to the bathroom. She shut and locked the door behind her and attempted to get herself out of that dress.

Aamori watched as Nanashi got up and left the kitchen and then sighed as she looked back over to Celestine. "Well.. at least he's willing to learn." She said lightly. "So what are you thinking about getting for him to use anyway?" She asked curiously.

Hikari just leaned her head back against Kyran again, though she glanced over when he asked Nanashi if he was alright. He did look a little down, but just barely enough to notice. She might not have even noticed anything if Kyran hadn't said something.

Nanashi looked up when Kyran spoke and side glanced at him as if he wasn't sure he was addressing him, but when he saw him looking at him he turned his head to face him. "Yes... I was just thinking." he said quietly. "...Celestine wants to teach me to use a weapon before we go... I'm just...not very interested in learning to kill anything." he said simply before glancing away again.

Hikari raised her head slightly and gave him a weak smile, "Nanashi learning to fight doesn't necessarily mean learning to kill..."

"...Then what does it mean? Learning the art of combat is learning how to kill, that is what weapons were made for." He sighed softly, "I told him I would learn... though I can't say how much use I can get out of it..." Even if he did know how to use it, he couldn't promise that he would be able to bring himself to in the long run.

Kanone smiled weakly and shook his head before starting down the stairs. He yawned as he slipped through the living room and into the kitchen again. "Geez, that late already?" he muttered under his breath as he went to plop down in the chair across from Aamori.

Celestine glanced over to Aamori again and shrugged slightly. "I'm not sure yet. I guess it depends on what is available and what he can use." he said simply and then glanced to Kanone. "...Do you have anything?"
"...Like what?"
"Weapons... that Nanashi could borrow...or have." He said simply.
Kanone just yawned again. "Yeah, probably...I'd have to go look." e said simply as he forked some food.

Kyran sighed softly after listening to Nanashi. "Like Hikari said, learning how to fight doesn't necessarily mean you're learning to kill." He paused. "In your case you're learning for self defense purposes. You can still wield a weapon and not kill something, you know." He turned his head away crossed his arms loosely over his chest. "Even if you don't want to use a weapon, it's still better that you have a rudimentarily knowledge of how to use one in case you need to protect yourself." He paused. "...I don't exactly enjoy having to use my blades but the knowledge of how to use them is still there. So should the need arise, I'm not a loss." He gave another sigh. "They probably would've come in handy when we fought against Nerian..." He commented quietly.

LaRae was in the bathroom for what seemed like forever to her while she tried to get out of the dress. She wasn't sure what was harder, putting it on or getting out of it. She finally managed to bend over and yanking it off over her head. She gave a heavy sigh and just threw it on the ground before slipping back into her jeans and her shirt. Once she was back in her usual clothes she reached down and picked the dress up and looked at it for a moment. She wandered over to the sink and set it down on the counter before turning back to the bathroom door and walking out. As she headed down the hall she'd started running her hands through her hair trying to straighten it out, then started down the stairs.

Aamori glanced over when Kanone sat down across from her and then looked back to Celestine. "Well, what ever he ends up with I'm sure there is someone in the lot of us who can help him get better at wielding it." She paused. "After all, I think we've got someone in the group well versed in almost every class of weapon."

Nanashi nodded slightly to Kyran and sighed softly. "...I guess so..." he said finally. There wasn't a point in arguing it, he had to learn either way. If nothing else he guessed he could at least help keep everyone from worrying about protecting him. He just closed his eyes and leaned his head back against the couch again silently.

Hikari shook her head slightly and just leaned to rest against Kyran again. She could tell Nanashi was very against using them, but she decided to let it go. She glanced up to Kyran and smiled slightly. "...You didn't know." she said softly when she heard what he said about Nerian. "I don't think any of us knew what to make of all of this."

Celestine nodded in agreement with Aamori. "Yes... not lets just hope he can stand to learn." he said simply. He finished off the rest of his food and then took his plate up to Sonia for her to wash and then came back to sit down. He just looked at Kanone as he ate and sighed a little impatiently. He wanted to get this show on the road already and get it over with.

Kanone was already eating pretty fast but when he noticed Celestine staring at him he just started scarfing it down all the more quickly. "Yeah, yeah, I'll get on it." he said between mouth fulls. Finally he finished his food and took his plate up then started out of the kitchen and back toward the living room. He glanced over to Nanashi and paused. "Short range or long range?"

"What?" He asked, opening his eyes again.

"Do you prefer short range weapons or long range?"

"...I...don't...know..." he said unsurely. "...I'm going to have to learn either way... and my aim kinda sucks..."

"Yeah...um...short range it is." he said simply before heading for the stairs again.

Kyran glanced back over to Nanashi for a moment before he looked down to Hikari. "...I may have not known, but I should have been wiser and returned home to retrieve them before looking for the relic." He paused. "It was silly of me to think that this job wasn't going to be dangerous." He leaned his head back on the couch. He couldn't help feeling a little down after thinking about it again. Everyone else who knew how to fight had a weapon when they first started and he went blindly into that temple even after reading that it wasn't safe for him to go inside. He looked up briefly when he heard Kanone and then shook his head lightly when he heard Nanashi's response. The first thing he thought of asking, but refrained was if he thought he'd be able to get that close to something he could possibly have to kill.

LaRae was already reaching the bottom of the stairs when she saw Kanone heading for them. She stepped off to the side and then headed for the bench where her boots were. She reached down and grabbed them then walked over to sit on the floor next to the coffee table to start putting them on. She glanced around at the others for a moment before she looked down at her boots while lacing them up.

Aamori chuckled lightly and shook her head seeing how fast Kanone was eating since he'd seen Celestine staring at him. She watched him get up and leave and then looked back at Celestine. "I'm sure he'll be able to learn, just don't go forcing it on him all at once." She paused. "You're liable to scare him into not wanting to learn. And unfortunately he isn't going to get as much time to train and get to know the weapon as the rest of us have... So you should probably try and be a little more patient with him, then you are with Kanone." She commented before standing up. She stood there for a moment longer before turning and heading for the living room. She wanted to make sure she got her sandals and holster back on now so she wasn't trying to at the very last minute. She didn't say a word when she walked into the living room and went straight over to the bench and picked up her sandals. Then she sat down and started to put them back on.

Hikari looked at Kyran and shook her head slightly. "It's over." she said softly, "You have them now." She nuzzled against him lightly with her head and then glanced at Kanone when he spoke to Nanashi. She didn't know how well he would do with a close range weapon, but then again long range weapons did you little good if you couldn't hit anything with them.

Celestine sighed softly and nodded to Aamori. "I'm aware of that." He said simply. He wasn't going to try to force it on him all at once, but he was going to make sure he at least knew how to hold the thing before he left here. He finally stood up again and started back to the living room as well, though he paused when he saw his clothes on the table. He just walked over to them and picked them up before heading for the stairs to change back again. The clothes that he was in now were great but he didn't really want to look dressed up for the rest of this trip so he was going to go ahead and get changes and get all of his stuff together.

Nanashi watched at LaRae came back down the steps and smiled slightly at her when he saw her back in her jeans. Back to normal, huh?" He asked with a soft laugh.

Kanone was upstairs for a few minutes before he finally came back down with two weapons, both of which were types of pole arms. He walked over a little closer to the couch and just held them both vertically out in front of him. "Heh... Yeah this is about all I have." he said simply. In one hand he held a spetum, which was pretty much consisted of a wide blade sharpened on each side with two similar blades on the left and right of the center blade. In his other hand was a footman's lance, which was pretty much just a metal spear. "Honestly, I think you would be better off with the spetum, you can do more with it. About all you can do with the other one is jab."

Nanashi just looked up to him for a moment and stared at the blades before he let out a sigh and stood up, reaching out almost timidly to take the spetum. Once he had it in his hand he just held it and stared at it like it was some kind of strange foreign object that he couldn't believe he was touching. "...Thanks." he said finally.
"...You have no idea what to do with that, do you?"
"Not a clue..."
"It shows."

Kyran gave a soft sigh. He was aware that it was over, and indeed he had them now but he couldn't help thinking things might have gone differently had he had them. He shook his head lightly, now wasn't the time to go thinking about then. It wasn't going to change anything.

LaRae finished lacing up her boots and then looked up at Nanashi when she heard him speak. She smiled slightly and gave a nod. "I couldn't very well continue with this mission in a dress." She said lightly before getting back to her feet.

Aamori had finished lacing up her sandals and started to stand up. She watched when Kanone came down with the two pole arms then turned back to the bench to pick up her holster. She unbuckled the buckles then lifted her foot up to rest it on the bench while she strapped her holster back to her thigh. Once she'd finished she took her foot off the bench and adjusted her skort before moving closer to Kanone. She stood next to him and eyed the Spetum that Nanashi was holding and then the other that Kanone had. She then glanced back to Nanashi. "You'll get the hang of it Nanashi. It's really not all that hard to use a pole arm." She tried to assure him.
