Nanashi hadn't stirred at all throughout the night, even when LaRae came over to lean against him. Even when morning came he was still just laying there with his head turned slightly off to the side and one arm draped over his middle. A little after the sun had come up he turned his head to face LaRae and cracked his eyes open, squinting against the light. He half smiled when he saw that LaRae was resting against him and moved his hand to brush his fingers over her hair, pushing it away from her face.

Hikari was still nuzzled against Kyran snugly, with one arm draped over him. when the sun peeped through and into her face she tried to nuzzle her face further into his side and grumbled something about wanting the window closed.

Celestine was still resting against Nobu with one arm over the canine's back. He had taken quite a while to fall asleep the night before, but once he did fall asleep he didn't stir a bit. At least Nobu was able to give him some peace during the night. When the sun rose he turned his head slightly to push his face into Nobu's fur, for a moment, but it had already started to wake him. He finally raised his head and yawned slightly though after a quick look around he realized that most of the others were still asleep. He just sighed and rested his head back against Nobu again until he noticed Nero standing near the trees. He looked back to him again and then sat up, rubbing the sleep from his eyes before he stood up and walked over to stand about two feet off to the side of him. He looked into the forest as well and then glanced over to Nero again. "...Do you see something?"

Kyran continued to lay there with his arm pressed lightly over his eyes, trying to keep himself asleep as long as possible. Unfortunately he had trouble staying asleep and eventually moved his arm from his eyes. He was about to drop his hand beside him but stopped and set his hand down gently on top of Hikari's arm. He laid there for a moment before smiling slightly because he hadn't woken up to a foot in his face.

LaRae was still asleep and hadn't moved very much. Though she did finally move a little when Nanashi moved her hair from her face. She nuzzled against him lightly while managing to keep herself asleep. Her waking up so easily yesterday must have been a fluke, one time thing. Today was clearly going to be like the usual struggle to get her to wake up.

Nero continued to stand there quietly even when Celestine came over and stood off to the side of him. It took him a few moments to pry his eyes away from the forest to glance down at Celestine. He stared at him briefly before resting his eyes back to the forest. "...No." He said quietly. "...Sense, yes." He commented shortly. He certainly couldn't see anything through that thick foliage but he knew he was sensing something, though he wasn't at all sure what it was which was why he got up to look. Kind of hoping to see what he was sensing, though he'd had no luck.

Nobu barely moved at all, though he did wake up and lift his head when he felt Celestine move away from him. He watched him head over to Nero. Then he lowered his head back down and stretched out a little more on the ground.

Aamori glanced around a little once she'd woken herself up. She glanced over when Celestine wound up near Nero and then she looked down at Nobu when he stretched out and smiled a little. She stayed quiet and then reached for her holster pulling it over to her lap. She started to put the holster back on and then removed the staff from it. She turned the staff up right and pressed lightly on the jeweled button that opened the shaft inside. She glanced inside and gave a heavy sigh only realizing again that she was really all out of water. If there was a creature more dangerous then Nerian she couldn't help thinking she'd have been better off with her staffs chamber full of the water from Kairava. She shook her head lightly and shut the shaft before resting the staff in her lap.

Celestine nodded slightly, turning his eyes eyes back to the forest. "...It wouldn't be out this far... This is the edge of his marked territory." he said quietly. "...Once everyone else is awake...I'll tell you what it is." he said simply. He didn't really care to go repeating himself individually to every one of them.

Hikari shifted slightly when she felt Kyran's hand on her arm. She turned her head away from his side enough she glanced up to see what was touching her and then shifted positions again when she felt something move along her back. "What are you doing?" she muttered as she wiggled slightly, "That tickles." She thought he was moving his tail along her back under her shirt where it had scrunched up on her, or at least that's what it felt like, but when she realized that his tail wasn't even on the same side as her she reached behind her felt her back. "Umm...." She could feel something long and moving under the fabric. She was still half asleep so she just reached under her shirt and pulled it out then brought it out in front of her to see what it was. Her eyes widened when she realized she was holding a long green snake. She shrieked and dropped it right in the middle of Kyran's chest in her hurry to scurry away from it.

Nanashi startled and bolted up when he heard Hikari scream, forgetting in that instant that LaRae's head was resting on his chest. Well...it was on the ground now. "What!?" He asked looking over to Hikari and Kyran. He couldn't see what the commotion was about for Hikari's back.

Celestine spun around quickly when he heard Hikari scream and dashed over to them, though he came to a stop just a few feet away and sighed, shaking his head. It was just a little green snake, what was she screaming about?

Kyran startled a little hearing Hikari and then he started to sit up a little when she dropped something on his chest. He shook his head lightly when saw it was nothing more then a snake. He took his hand and grabbed the snake just behind the head and picked it up. He just looked at it for a moment before shaking his head and then getting to his feet. He glanced over at Hikari with a half smile on his face. "You're afraid of this little guy?" He questioned holding out his hand, the snake had now wrapped it's tail around his arm.

LaRae started to come to thanks to Hikari's shriek, but she wanted to ignore it and go back to sleep. That ended up being nearly impossible however when her head hit the ground after Nanashi sat up so quickly. She continued to lay there for a minute before she gave a heavy sigh and sat up rubbing the side of her head. She didn't even bother looking around to see what was going on.

Nero gave a slight nod to Celestine before he heard that shriek from Hikari. He took his time turning around to see what the cause was, though once he saw that she screamed over a snake he shook his head and turned right back around.

Aamori was in the process of putting her staff back into the holster when she heard Hikari and she startled and dropped her staff. She looked up to see what the commotion was. She gave a soft sigh seeing Kyran with the snake and then she reached for her staff and continued to put it back into the holster.

Hikari felt her cheeks turning slightly red. "I don't mind snakes.... but NOT in my clothes while I'm wearing them!" she said as she stood up. She shuddered just thinking about it and started to dust herself off.

Celestine shook his head slightly and walked over to Kyran, looking down at the snake. "It was just looking for somewhere warm to sleep." he said simply. "It's not poisonous or anything and even if it was it wouldn't kill you." He knelt down beside Kyran and reached over to the snake, gently running his fingers over its back. He just held his hand out in front of the snake and let it slither along his arm and wrap itself around his arm. At least after a good night sleep he seemed calmer for now. He guessed that everyone was right, what was going to happen was going to happed, there wasn't a lot he could do about it.

Nanashi looked back to LaRae and smiled weakly, "Sorry..." he said softly, "she scared me..." He reached over to place his hand against her head, "Are you alright?" he asked softly.

Kyran let Celestine take the snake and then stood up and dusted himself off a bit before straightening out his vest. "Well if anything the little visitor made the silence stop for a few minutes." He commented before looking back over to Hikari.

LaRae looked over to Nanashi and nodded her head lightly. "Yeah.. I'm alright." She paused. "...I'm actually kind of used to being woken by someone yelling or screaming and then me hitting my head..." She said quietly. Aamori had woken her like that more then enough times when they were kids, and then again at the festival even after so many years had passed. She sighed again and then started to get to her feet after slipping her boots back on.

Aamori finished buckling her staff in and then reached for her sandals and quickly laced them up before standing up and dusting herself off and adjusting her skort. She then lifted her hands up and started to straighten out her hair while she wandered closer to Celestine.

Nanashi smiled slightly and shook his head slightly before he reached down to put his boots back on and then stood up to dust himself off as well. "I will try to bolt upright more carefully in the future." He said as he rubbed her head lightly before he looked over to where the others were. He sighed softly and finally bent to pick up his spetum since he knew he would forget it if he didn't get it now.

Hikari just sighed and flopped back down to get her boots, though she make sure to turn them both upside down just in case there was anything else hiding around here before she put them on again and then grabbed her bow as she stood back up and dusted her shorts off again. before she crossed her arms. She was just trying to discretely shy away from Celestine while he was holding the little reptile.

Celestine sighed softly and just let the snake curl around his arm and through his fingers and then looked back to the others again. "I have a few things to tell you before we go." He said simply, though in a rather loud tone to get everyone's attention, and then glanced back to Nero. He's rather not scream it to be heard, so he was just waiting for him to get over here with the rest of them. He absently stroked the snake with his free hand as he waited and then looked over to Kyran. "You should tell Nobu to wait here. I don't think he will be able to go too deep into the forest without getting sick, so he would be better off staying out here."

Nero turned slightly and looked back over his shoulder after he head Celestine. He stood there for a moment longer before shrugging lightly and then walking over to the rest of them. Though he did still stand off to the side so he wasn't too close to anyone.

Kyran looked over to Celestine when he heard him say that Nobu should stay here. He quirked a brow and then gave a nod. "..Alright." He paused. "He isn't going to like that, but I'll make sure he stays here." He then glanced over towards Nobu and shook his head lightly when he saw that the canine was still sprawled out on the ground.

LaRae glanced back to Nanashi and shook her head. "Don't worry about it. I'm not hurt." She said quietly before moving over closer to the others. Since Celestine said he had a few things to say before they left she figured she might as well make sure she was close enough to hear him, and maybe even pay attention this time to what was being said.

Nanashi glanced over to Celestine and then slowly started over in that direction after LaRae started over there. He stood off to her side and crossed his arms over the handle of his spetum while he listened.

Celestine shrugged slightly. "I know he wont, you can just blame it on me." he said simply, rolling his eyes slightly. He glanced around for a moment, still absently petting the snake. It seemed like he was just holding it to have something to so with his hands. He hated being the center of attention and it seemed like he was having trouble saying what he wanted to say. Finally he sighed, "Alright... This is not going to be easy. We're going to have to do this in one day, once we go past these ropes we wont be able to stop for anything." he said though he was already prepared to answer the upcoming question of 'why' before it was asked. "This forest is poisoned, the air is poisoned. That's why not a lot goes in there. Dragons will be able to strand it longer than anything else, of course some things have adapted to it and still live in the forest, but not a lot. If we stay in there over night...we may not wake up in the morning." He glanced around for a moment and then continued. "...The relic is hidden in a temple somewhere in the forest. The temple is guarded by a hydra. They hydra is what poisoned the forest and that's why it's roped off." he said simply. "...This thing is going to be strong, and it's poison is extremely deadly, so whatever you do so not let it bite you and do not get near its tails, those are tipped with poison as well." he told them. He closed his eyes for a moment and then sighed. "...I think that's it... He just looked back up to all of them again, "...Just be careful."

Hikari just blinked and stared at Celestine before she let out a heavy sigh. She had a feeling that was coming. She sighed softly and nodded in understanding when Celestine finished what he had to say. "We will be." she said softly.

Nanashi just stood there silently, looking a little anxious now. He didn't really like the sound of the poison in the forest. Of course he was half dragon, so he figured that he could make it at least as long as the others, or so he hoped at least. He didn't bother to voice any of his concerns. He couldn't just stay back here with Nobu and try to keep out of harm's way while everyone else went in there.

Kyran listened quietly and then gave a sigh once Celestine was finished talking. He wasn't all that surprised by hearing about the Hydra, considering he and Hikari had already spoken about that being a possibility. Though, the forest being laced with poison was the only thing that bothered him at present. That certainly gave a good reason for Nobu to not be allowed to follow them. He glanced over at Hikari for a moment and smiled weakly. "...I guess this wasn't the time you got to be wrong."

LaRae thought she was going to have trouble paying attention to what Celestine had to say but once he mentioned that the forest was poisonous she was kind of hooked. She hadn't heard of very many forests that were filled with poison and the fact that the forest didn't look dead, surprised her. Usually from what she'd known poison killed off most anything that was alive, including the greenery. She wasn't too alarmed by the mention of the hydra only because she didn't know what it was. Although, hearing that the thing had deadly poison worried her slightly but she didn't let that show.

Nero listened quietly and just continued to stand there waiting until Celestine finished. He kept the same unconcerned look on his face as usual and then shifted his eyes slightly to look at Celestine. "This poison, once we're out of the forest again. Do you know how long it's going to take to get out of our systems?" He questioned. He wasn't worried about anything other then that poison, especially since they were going to be breathing it in while inside the forest. If it was going to be with them for awhile it was surely going to end up taking a toll on all of their bodies while it worked itself out.

Aamori looked over at Celestine when he finished telling them everything. She wasn't too surprised to hear the forest was poisoned thanks to the hydra, but she couldn't lie, that much poison on top of the hydra itself being poisonous did unnerve her slightly. She sighed softly. "Don't worry so much Celestine." She paused. "We can handle this." She said lightly.

Hikari sighed softly and glanced over to Kyran again, shaking her head. "...Yes, unfortunately..." she said quietly. At least they knew now why Celestine was being do jittery before. She was at least glad that he'd figured it out finally and that they weren't going to be going in here guessing.

Celestine looked over to Nero when he asked about the poison and then shook his head slightly. "...I really don't know. As far as I know the airborne poison isn't as potent as the actual venom, so... hopefully it won't be that long. It might not even hurt us to be in there for longer than a day, but I would just rather not chance it." He glanced over to Aamori and sighed softly, giving her a slight nod before he finally knelt down to release the snake on the ground and watched it slither away. It started toward the area where the ropes were and then turned around and stared away from them and slither back through the safe area of the forest. He sighed and looked over to the tree where he's been sleeping then started over to get his swallow and drape it back over his shoulders again.

Nanashi glanced over to Kyran and Hikari for a moment and tilted his head slightly. "...What...is a hydra?" he asked quietly, "Isn't that...some kind of dragon?"

Hikari looked over to Nanashi and nodded slightly. "Yes, but they don't have the ability to change form the way that most do, they're a very old almost extinct breed." she explained to him. "I suppose they are some of the ones that lead humans to the assumption that dragons were vicious and deadly."

Nanashi swallowed and looked away. "Oh that's comforting." He said with a sigh before shaking his head.

Kyran listened to the answer to Nero's question; He was actually a bit curious about that himself. Once he heard what he wanted he was going to head over to Nobu, pausing long enough to hear Hikari answer Nanashi's question. He gave a slight nod and then continued over to Nobu. He didn't think he'd have to say much to Nobu, he was pretty sure that he'd been listening just because he'd see Nobu occasionally look over at them and then lay his head back down. He knelt down when he reached Nobu and patted him on the head. "...You're going to be good and stay here, right."

Nobu of course had been listening to the whole conversation and had been trying to act like he wasn't which is why he was still sprawled out on the ground. He lifted his head when he heard Kyran come over to him and then looked at him for a moment when he asked if he was going to be good. Of course he was. He did what he was told to do, well, unless the blades were in any danger then it was a whole different story.

Nero listened to Celestine's answer and then gave a small sigh. He was hoping for a more accurate answer, but that was better then nothing. He turned to the side slightly and looked back towards the white ropes. So far he really wasn't liking this part of the trip. He was already a little uncomfortable with what he'd sensed and now he had to worry about poisons, and the aftermath of the airborne poison. He was almost certain that it'd be a little uncomfortable on the chest when he first breathed in the air in that forest and then again on the way out back into the untainted air. He really wished that he'd been able to plan better for this trip, he might have brought some of his equipment from home.

LaRae was a bit relieved that Nanashi had asked the question she was afraid to. The last thing she wanted was to ask what a Hydra was and get a snotty answer from Celestine if he had heard her question. She gave a sigh when she heard the answer to the question; Well, at least she knew what they were now.

Celestine just made sure that his blade was secure on his back and that he had his bag draped over his shoulder and then glanced down to Nobu. He sighed softly and reached down to rub the top of his head lightly. 'Thanks you, Nobu.' He finally thought to tell him before he straightened up and looked back to the others again. "...Well...as soon as you're ready..." he said finally. He looked toward the forest again and walked a little closer to the roped off trees before he stopped. The ropes marked the area where the poison was the least. It all kind of fanned out from a central point, so it would just gradually get worse. Further in a sort of mist was just barely visible.

Hikari sighed softly and offered Nanashi a weak smile. "Don't worry, Nanashi..." she said softly as she placed her hand on his shoulder for a moment. She glanced over to LaRae and smiled slightly before she knelt down and grabbed Kyran's shoes and blades before walking over to him. "You may need these." she said, holding them out to him with a slight smile.

Nanashi nodded weakly to Hikari and then sighed. Kill me now... He looked over to LaRae and then glanced to Celestine. He already had all of his things together so he could get moving any time. He walked a little closer to the forest and then paused near Celestine.

Kyran turned slightly and looked at Hikari for a moment, seeing that she had his things. He nodded lightly and then reached out to take his boots first. He knelt down and quickly put them on before standing again to take his blades. "Thank you." He said with a slightly embarrassed smile. He then slipped the blades into the holster and then started over towards the ropes.

Nobu looked to Celestine after he rubbed the top of his head. 'I'll be waiting for all of you to come back.' He thought to him before making himself comfortable on the ground again.

Nero moved over to the ropes again once Celestine started towards them. He stood just a foot or two back from the ropes, intending to wait for the others to pass through first before he'd follow.

LaRae looked at Hikari for a moment when she looked at her, returning the slight smile. Then her eyes trailed over to Nanashi and she smiled again before following after him.

Aamori double checked to make sure that she had everything, even though she was positive she did. Once she finished checking she turned and walked over to stand just off set of Celestine. She looked at him for a moment. "I'm pretty sure we're all ready now." She commented quietly.

Hikari smiled slightly and nodded to him. "You're welcome." She said before she looked over to Celestine again. She was at least glad that he seemed to be over his little fit from yesterday. She was kind of worried that he was going to spaz out on them once they got into the forest. After Kyran had his things she went over to stand with

Celestine glanced over to Aamori and nodded slightly. "Good..." he looked toward the forest again and took a deep breath before he started past the ropes. He glanced back for a moment to make sure that everyone else was coming and then turned back around to continue forward. The silence in this part of the forest was only broken by their footsteps in the mass of foliage. It wasn't until they were a about 50 yards in that the air seemed to grow thicker as the mist became more apparent.

Nanashi glanced over to Celestine for a moment when he started into the deeper area of the forest. He sighed quietly and glanced over to LaRae before he finally started in after him, keeping his eyes down a bit. He looked up once they started to get to the deeper area and looked around ahead of him. He noticed the air change, but at least it wasn't all that bad right now. He just sighed softly. He had a feeling that he wasn't going to like getting much further in here.

Kyran started to follow Celestine a few moments after he started past the ropes. He glanced back briefly to make sure that Nobu was indeed staying put, then turned his head back to watch where he was walking. He stayed pretty quiet while walking, glancing around a little. He was starting to hope that getting out of here wasn't going to be as hard as it was starting to look. The foliage was so thick and for the most part all looked the same to him. He gave a soft sigh. It took him a moment to notice when the air changed, it wasn't bothering him at the moment but he assumed it was only going to get worse.

Aamori passed the ropes right after Celestine had. She was keeping her usual distance to him now, rather then the previous day. She was trying to be extra careful while walking just because in this place she really didn't want to trip and fall.

LaRae started after Nanashi once he headed into the forest. She stayed relatively close to him. Her eyes seemed to be everywhere but where they were walking. She was intrigued by this forest and was too busy looking around. When the air changed however her attention changed briefly. She was a little curious to know just how much thicker the air was going to get.

Nero waited until everyone else had started in before he took up the rear like usual. He walked with his hands hanging at his sides for a moment before he dipped them into his pockets. He was really uncomfortable with having to breath in the poisonous air, but got over it easily enough. They had a mission to do and he was going to see it through to the end even if he didn't have a mask. When the air changed he didn't show any signs of noticing, though he had noticed. It just didn't phase him.

Hikari stuck close to Kyran's side as they entered the forest and stayed pretty close to him. She looked around a bit, but after a short while all of the trees started to look about the same to her as well. She was trying her best to watch where she was putting her feet so that she didn't trip over any downed branches or anything.

Nanashi just continued to look straight ahead for a few minutes before he looked over to LaRae for a moment. He watched her look around and then looked ahead of himself again. As soon as he looked ahead again he froze dead in his tracked and stared hard at the trees. "What the?..." he muttered and then shook his head quickly. He must have been imagining things. He was very good at remembering his surrounding but when he looked back to the front again everything was different. The trees seemed to have shifted so that they were facing different directions and the brush was thicker or the trees were wider. He stared straight ahead and focused one one tree for a moment and then looked away for just a moment, when he looked back, the large oak that was there was only a small sapling. he stopped again and stared. "It keeps changing." he said quietly.

Hikari stopped when she heard Nanashi talking and looked back to him for a moment. "What are you talking about?" she asked softly, "What's changing?"

Nanashi shook his head and pointed ahead. "The trees. I looked away for a minute and they all changed. That little sap....ling......" he said slowly and then glanced around. There wasn't even a sapling there anymore. "It...did it...again..."

Hikari looked around for a moment and then looked back to Nanashi, shaking her head. "...Nanahsi, nothing has changed." she said gently, "All these trees look the same..."

"I told you before...this forest doesn't like humans..." Celestine spoke up. He had paused as well just ahead of them. "There is a sort of enchantment here... humans who wander in never find their way out..the poison gets them before long, anyway." he said simply, "Only the plants will seem to change, keep your focus on us. Just don't get lost. Now come on." he said simply as he turned around and started forward again.

Kyran came to a stop briefly when Hikari did and then glanced back to look at Nanashi too. He'd just barely been playing any attention to anything that was being said. He gave a slight nod when Hikari said that nothing had changed. It really hadn't. He'd started to grow bored looking at what seemed like the same trees over and over again. He turned his head back to the front for a moment when he heard Celestine speak up. He gave a slight sigh. "If you ask me, I wouldn't mind things changing on me. This is rather boring as it is right now." He commented quietly.

LaRae had pried her eyes off her surroundings long enough to look up at Nanashi when he finally stopped and had a few others attention. She'd been listening to him while they were walking but she hadn't noticed even once that anything was changing. Her eyes shifted over to Hikari momentarily when she told him that nothing was changing. She gave a nod and agreed. Nothing had changed, if it had she would have caught it. She sighed softly when she heard what Celestine said; At least it made sense now why he was seeing things change whereas the rest of them weren't.

Nanashi sighed softly and nodded to Celestine's explanation before he started walking again. He just kept his eyes trained on Kyran's back since he was the one in front of him and tried not to pay any attention to the trees. "...I doubt you would want things changing like this when you're trying to keep your bearings straight." he muttered quietly. He couldn't resist looking around a little, though the constantly changing scenery was almost enough to make him sick. He looked over to LaRae for a moment and then turned back to the front. Just as he looked away from her his foot caught under a large fallen branch and he stumbled, almost falling flat on his face. He looked behind him to see what he'd tripped over, but all he really saw was a big twig sticking out of the ground. He blinked again and then shook his head. This could almost drive someone batty.

Hikari looked over to Kyran and smiled weakly before she glanced back to Nanashi again. "Are you alright?" She asked softly. Apparently this was going to be harder on him than any of them realized since he couldn't even be sure of what was in front of him if it was a part of this forest. She sighed and just continued forward once she got a short nod out of him.

Celestine wasn't pausing for anything else, he was practically power walking through he trees, though he had little to no idea where he was going. His ear twitched slightly when he picked up on a faint sound that was almost...familiar. He stopped for just a second to listen, but he didn't hear anything else, so he just kept walking. "...It has to be in here somewhere..." he muttered under his breath. 'Why is it our elders go to such extreme lengths to protect some little relic and don't do much of anything to protect anything else?'

Kyran glanced over his shoulder briefly when he heard Hikari ask Nanashi if he was alright. He turned his head back and continued walking. He couldn't even begin to imagine how Nanashi was feeling, and he probably wouldn't like it too much himself if everything kept changing on him all the time. Though, it would be more entertaining to say the least.

LaRae had been paying a little more attention to Nanashi since the scenery kept changing on him; At the same time she was still glancing around quiet a bit. She paused and looked at him a little concerned when he tripped. She gave a soft sigh and reached out to slip her arm around his. She looked over to him and smiled softly. "If we walk like this, you can keep in step with me and hopefully not trip again." She said lightly. She wasn't sure how much that would help him, but she hoped it might since she wasn't having the same difficulties that he was.

Nero wasn't that far behind LaRae and Nanashi and he even came to a brief stop when he saw what Nanashi tripped over. He shook his head and gave a sigh while trying to suppress the urge to want to laugh a little.

Nanashi sighed softly when LaRae wrapped her arm around him and offered her a weak smile. "...Thanks..." he said quietly. He just continued forward after the others quietly, looking over to LaRae to see where she was walking. He was doing fine once she got a hold of him, though after a little white his eyes did start to water and itch a little and he had to keep blinking repeatedly since she had his only free arm. The air was quickly starting to get a lot harder for him to breathe, though when he looked up it seemed no one else was really having a problem with it. He just swallowed, or tried. His mouth had gone rather dry as well. He just lowered his eyes again and cleared his throat quietly as he continued forward. About five minutes later he started to feel a little light headed so he just closed his eyes for a moment as he continued forward. It wasn't really getting any better, when he opened his eyes again he felt like the whole world was spinning. He took a deep breath through to prepare to say something, but as soon as the tainted air hit the back of his throat it seemed to set off a trigger. His voice caught in his throat and he pulled his arm away from LaRae to cover his mouth as he started coughing and choking.

Hikari stopped again and looked back to Nanashi when she heard those ragged coughs. "Nanashi are you alright?" she asked in a concerned voice. She really hoped he'd just swallowed a bug or something, but from the look of him that definitely wasn't the case. She's forgotten that a dragon half's immune system was much weaker than that of a dragon, of course the poison would effect him far more quickly than the rest of them.

Nanashi tried to answer her but he couldn't even inhale this air anymore without coughing, so every time he had to breathe it only got worse. At least he could see why humans didn't make it in here. If he could get out of here fast enough he'd probably be alright once he could breathe some clean air, but there was no way that he could even find his way back out of here the way that everything kept changing on him. He finally just lowered his head and sunk to one knee as he moved his hand from his mouth and pressed it against his aching chest as he shook his head from side to side. That was about the best answer that he could give anyone.

Celestine stopped as well when he heard Nanashi's coughs, but he just hoped he would get over it. When he sank to his knee he turned back quickly and hurried over to him for a moment, kneeling beside him opposite of LaRae, and placed his hand on his back. This definitely wasn't getting any better. "Someone needs to get him out of there, fast. I don't care who." he said quickly as he stood up and looked around at the lot of them. He knew that it couldn't be him; he still had to get the relic.

LaRae had been trying to keep an eye on Nanashi while they walked, occasionally glancing over to see how he was. She didn't get too alarmed, at least until he pulled his arm away and started hacking. She was going to ask him if he was alright but again Hikari managed to beat her to that question. She stared at him quietly with an extremely worried look on her face. Her eyes shifted away from Nanashi briefly when Celestine started to rush over. She stood there for a moment when she heard that someone needed to get him out of the forest. Of course she was willing to do it and started to open her mouth to say she'd do it but was cut off when she felt herself get pushed to the side.

Nero'd been watching from behind and when he heard what Celestine said he wasted very little time in debating over who would do it. He noticed LaRae was going to open her mouth, no doubt to say she'd take him out. He shook his head and moved closer to LaRae shoving her out of the way before kneeling down beside Nanashi. He just looked at him for a moment before glancing up at Celestine. "I'll make sure he gets out." He paused and looked back at Nanashi. "Can you walk at all?" He asked, oddly enough sounding rather concerned.

Kyran was a little surprised to see Nero offer himself up to get Nanashi out, and he even managed to do it before LaRae could say she'd do it. Of the two he definitely thought that Nero would be the best bet just incase Nanashi couldn't walk. Though, he wasn't so sure he wanted to be stuck dealing with LaRae being concerned for Nanashi while they finished the job in the forest.

Aamori stayed where she was when they stopped and just looked back. She of course wouldn't be offering to help Nanashi get out of the forest, so she was glad to hear that Nero offered to pretty quickly. Not to mention she didn't think she'd be able to get him very fall herself without tripping over something.

Hikari was more than willing to make sure that he got out alright, bus he knew that one of the guys could get him out faster. She just bit her lip lightly and glanced over to Kyran for a moment, though she was both surprised and relieved when Nero volunteered himself. She was fairly sure that he would do what he said.

Celestine nodded to Nero and backed away to give him room to do what he needed. He felt a stab of guilt when he looked at Nanashi. He knew that bringing him in here would be a bad idea, but he didn't say anything for fear of causing another stink about it. The last time he'd mentioned leaving him behind everyone had a cow so he figured it wouldn't hurt too much to let him come. He hadn't quite expected him to get this bad this fast.

Nanashi didn't turn his head, mainly because he didn't want to cough in anyone's face. When he heard Nero's question he tried to push himself up, mainly because he wasn't too sure himself, but he only got halfway up before another violent wave of coughs forced him back down. His spetum fell from his hand and landed in the leaves beside him and he tried to hold himself up with that hand since he couldn't seem to make the other one move away from his chest where his hand had curled up. He was coughing to hard that it was making his eyes water even worse on top of how badly they were already watering from the poison; he looked like he was crying--of course that was about what he felt like doing. He just shook his head again weakly as he continued to try to breathe through all of his choking on air.

LaRae was a little peeved that Nero had come and shoved her out of the way but once she saw how bad Nanashi looked she didn't really care anymore. It was in his best interest that Nero get him out so she couldn't really be upset.

Nero continued to watch Nanashi for a few moments, mostly to see about an answer to his question. Once he noticed him shake his head he gave a heavy sigh and then stood up. Of course he can't walk He thought for a minute about the best way to go about this. He wanted to be sure that he could carry both Nanashi and the spetum, and carry him in such a way that he didn't have to do anything. He could only think of one, and then gave another sigh. He glanced over at Celestine briefly. "I'm going to need that weapon of his handed to me once I pick him up." He said while reaching down to grab hold of Nanashi. He was quite strong in the arms so it wasn't all too difficult to pick the guy up and rather gently toss him over his shoulder. He made sure to clamp his arm down across his legs while he waited for the weapon to be handed to him.

Kyran watched when Nero picked up Nanashi and slung him over his shoulder. He shook his head lightly. That didn't look comfortable at all, but it was probably the most efficient way to get him out of the forest and quickly. He was pretty sure that if he had to run the guy out, he'd probably have carried him the same way.

Celestine looked down at his feet when Nanashi dropped his weapon and then looked back to Nero. He nodded and reached down to pick it up then waited for him to get Nanashi before he held the spetum out to him. "Here." he said quietly. He waited for him to get the weapon before he lowered his arm and backed up again. "Hurry." He said softly, though it kind of went without saying. Nanashi was already all but suffocating in here.

Nanashi didn't fight Nero at all when he went to lift him. Normally he probably would have spazzed out on anyone that tried to pick him up but he was just concentrating now on trying to breathe. The air here was just too thick for him. Of course handing upside down from Nero's shoulder didn't make the task of breathing any easier. He really couldn't complain though, at least he was getting out of here. Now he just hoped he could make it that long. His lung felt like they were on fire and the constant coughing and gagging was almost enough to make him toss his cookies. Luckily for Nero, his stomach was empty since he hadn't eaten anything since yesterday morning.

Hikari just watched Nanashi rather helplessly. She wished she could do something for him, but she didn't know that much about curing poisons or anything like that. She just hoped that he would be alright again once he was breathing some clean air.
