LaRae glanced down briefly at their hands when he reached for hers. She smiled a bit and then lifted her eyes up to look at him before turning her attention back to where they were walking. It really didn't take all that long to get to the shopping district. When they reached it she glanced around a bit. There was a decent amount of people already out and about, but at least one could still maneuver the area without bumping into someone. The shops themselves weren't anything too special. They actually kind of reminded her of the booths at the festival, only these were made out of more than just wood. Each little shop had a stone base that their merchandise sat on, along with a couple sets of wooden posts that surrounded the structure to hold up a roof. The roofs were made from planks of wood with a colored sheet of cloth over top of them to individualize the owners shop from an others. She continued to glance around a bit, taking notice that the shopping district seemed to be one giant circle that went around the whole island. She hadn't really noticed it before but everything including the park, this shopping district and the housing area seemed to be rings around the main building. She felt silly for not noticing that last night, then again it was really too dark to notice anything in detail. She finally started to look around more so at the people walking around rather than the structures. She gave a small sigh when she noticed some of the looks that were directed towards them. She guessed it wasn't everyday that the main island saw a dragon from another clan wandering around, let alone a dragon from an opposing clan.

Kyran barely budged when Hikari stepped on his foot. He barely felt a thing mostly because his boots took the brunt of any pressure thanks to them being steel toe. He sighed softly though, seeing as she'd clearly not liked him jokingly calling her a thief. He really meant nothing by it, and if he wanted to be technical; Everything that she got from his uncle was gift. He glanced over to Aamori for a moment when she asked if they had anything to do today. He hadn't really thought about it yet, so he had no plans himself. He gave a slight nod. "I've got nothing to do myself." He paused. "I wouldn't mind coming along."

Yoichi sighed when he heard Aamori ask the other two if they wanted to come with them. He wasn't so sure how his parents were going to take being surprised by company, and company from another clan no less. He looked over to Hikari for a moment when she said which room this Nero guy was using. He nodded slightly and started to walk over to the door. He paused once he got there and knelt down, slipping the pass under the door quickly and then standing upright and returning to the bunch. He couldn't very well go telling Aamori that the others shouldn't come with them. If she wanted them to then he guessed it was alright, after all she'd be the one to deal with their parents. "...Well, lets get going Aamori." He said as he came to a stop next to her.

Aamori watched when Yoichi started over to room where Nero was staying to leave him his pass. She smiled slightly at Hikari having heard her say that she would like to meet her parents. She was just glad that her parents didn't embarrass her and thankfully they were pretty normal. At least in her opinion anyway. She looked back to Yoichi when he came back over and then nodded lightly. "If you two are ready then we can go." She said as she started walking towards the doors to exit the building.

Nanashi smiled weakly at LaRae and then sighed softly when they reached the shops. He glanced around briefly, just enough to see what the shops looked like. He sighed softly when he caught one or two people's glances and then dropped his eyes again. He was thankful that he had figured out how to block out people's minds, he didn't even want to know what these people were thinking. He could only imagine what they thought seeing a halfbreed, or two if they didn't judge LaRae's looks well enough, wandering around. It was probably odd enough that they weren't from the same clan, but a fire clan member holding hands with an earth clan member probably sent a pretty.....strange message. He was only still holding onto LaRae's hand because he didn't want her to think that he was embarrassed by her or anything, but he didn't really like holding her hand around all of these strangers. At least maybe if would pass the message that if he could get along with someone from the earth clan that he didn't mean this clan any trouble either. He finally glanced over to LaRae and tilted his head, though he kept his eyes low and his voice very quiet. "What did you want to look at?" he asked softly, trying to preoccupy himself so he wouldn't worry about how many people were staring at them.

Hikari smiled slightly at Kyran when he said that he would like to come and then looked back to Aamori. She looked down at the pass in her hand and then started to put it in her pocket only to realize that she didn't actually have any. She blinked and then shook her head remembering that she wasn't in her shorts anymore. He held it for a moment and then tucked it up into her sleeve. The sleeves there tight, so there was little chance if it falling out. She didn't want to take up time to get get her pack just to have somewhere to stash her pass. At least if it started to slip she would feel it and be able to catch it, but the sleeve was pretty much keeping it flattened against her arm. She nodded to Aamori when she said that they could go if they were ready and then started to the door after her.

LaRae looked over to Nanashi when he asked her what she wanted to look at. "I've got nothing inparticular that I wanted to look at." She paused. "I just wanted to look around. After all, I'm not sure I'll ever see this territory again. So I'd like to see all I can of it before we leave." She said and then started looking around again. She started walking over towards the nearest little shop, just looking at the stuff on the table as she passed by it. She was pretty good at ignoring most of the looks they were getting just because she felt she had just as good a right as any other to be there. Plus she also had that pass and flashing that was bound to shut just about anyone up. Though she probably would've had something to say to the first store keeper had she been looking up to see the expression on the woman's face. It was obvious that the woman didn't want either of the two of them near her shop, she probably thought it'd be bad for business.

Aamori pushed one of the doors open when she reached them and stepped outside. She smiled a bit, pleasantly reminded of where she was by the breeze and the scent of the sea that was carried with it. So long as she wasn't grounded to the training building she was actually really happy to be back in Kairava. She glanced back for a moment just to make sure that the others were following and then turned and started to walk around the building. She continued that way until she was about half way around it, and then turned for another path that lead through the park, then the shopping district and the rich housing district to a bridge that arched over the water to one of the surrounding islands. She barely slowed down until she reached the intricate stone bridge. The bridge was large enough that a decent sized boat could easily pass under it. She came to a stop finally when she reached the top of the bridge and moved to the side for a moment to look at the beach. She smiled a little and then turned her head slightly to look back over the town. "These bridges, there is one that connects to each of the smaller surrounding islands." She paused. "They're the best places in the whole town to see the main island, considering they're up high enough that you can see most of the island."

Yoichi was practically on his sisters heels as soon as she started walking once they were through the door. He didn't say a word the whole time they were walking but he did wander off a couple times to keep a few people from getting too close to Aamori. He personally felt no need to keep the people of their clan away from her, but an order was an order. When Aamori stopped on the bridge he stopped just beside her and looked the other direction, towards the island that they were headed to. It wasn't quite as large as the main island, but it was big enough to house quite a good number of people. It also had a building built similarly to the training building, off at the farther end. Though that building didn't have a center opening like the training building did. He looked back to his sister and nudged her arm lightly. "C'mon we're almost there."

Kyran followed after the others when they started for the doors. He made sure that the door shut behind him after everyone else was outside and then continued after them. He glanced around a bit as they walked, taking note to some of the things that were different from the last time he had been here. He was a little surprised to see that Yoichi was actually detouring a couple passerby's that started to get close to Aamori. Of course he thought that was a little strange, but it must have been a rule or something that commoners couldn't associate with people like her. When they reached the bridge he too came to a stop when Aamori had and started looking around a bit at the structure itself and the beaches. If anything Kairava definitely was a pretty place, especially to visit.

Nanashi smiled weakly and then shook his head and continued to follow her. He glanced around for a moment when they came near one of the shops and glanced at the table, looking over the items that were on sale. He just happened to catch sight of the shop owner's face and then dropped his eyes quickly as his ears fell back. He sighed softly and looked back to LaRae. How in the world did she stand just going on about her business. Even with those passes he doubted that they wanted them here. After all they were only pieces of paper, they weren't going to completely change everyone's mind or opinion about them. He sighed softly and just stood there, waiting for LaRae to decide to move on somewhere else. He wanted to go somewhere else and get away from all the surprised and angry stares but he still didn't say anything. "I guess so..." he said quietly. He was looking forward to dusk, that was all he was really interested in seeing.

Hikari followed close behind Aamori as she hurried along her way. She glanced around a little at the park and the shops as they passed them. She glanced after Yoichi for a moment when he went to keep away some of the commoners and rolled her eyes slightly. That made a lot of sense, run off your own people and people from another clan walk right with her. She sighed softly and shook her head as she continued after Aamori. She never had really understood why commoners weren't allowed around people like them. It honestly made no sense to her, but she still had to go along with it...even if it was obnoxious. She stopped when Aamori did and came up to stand beside her on the bridge when she started to look around. "Oh wow..." she said quietly, focusing on the beaches more than anything. She really wanted to go down to those beaches with Aamori now after seeing them. They were really going to have to try to talk Hisako into that one.

LaRae finished looking at the wares on the table of the first shop and had started to move onto the next one all the while still oblivious to the expression on the first shop keepers face. By the time they made it to the next shop however it was already starting to become harder to just ignore the discrimination. She couldn't understand a word the shop keeper was saying because he was mumbling, but judging by the tone it wasn't very nice. She continued to try and ignore it and look over the things on the table before moving onto the next shop. When they came upon the next shop her eye was caught almost immediately by a bracelet made from silver and emeralds. She let go of Nanashi's hand and then started to reach out to pick the bracelet up and look at it more closely but the shop keeper pretty quickly snagged it off the table and then started to pull down the panels that closed the shop up tight. She pulled her hand back before the paneling slammed shut and stared for a moment. She heaved a heavy sigh and shook her head lightly. That wasn't exactly the reaction she was expecting. After all, to her knowledge the earth clan and water clans were on decent enough terms with one another. She tried at least to not let what the shop keeper did bother her too much. One person doing it wasn't that bad. It wasn't until she glanced around a little that she realized it wasn't just one shop keeper. Apparently after she tried to touch something, several of the surrounding shops had shut their shops up tight. "...Well ...that is a little uncalled for." She muttered quietly.

Aamori glanced over to Hikari when she came over near her and smiled when she spoke. It was really something, looking out from the bridges. She stood there for a moment longer, she thought to say something to Hikari about a chance they might get to go down to the beaches, but with Yoichi standing on the other side of her she was afraid to open her mouth. She finally pushed herself away from the edge of the bridge and started down to the other side, to the smaller island. Should she have stood there any longer she was sure that her brother would've started dragging her to their parents house. It really didn't take much longer to arrive. Their parents lived in an average sized common house. Most of the houses on this island looked alike and their parents chose to live like everyone else. Though, the interior of their house wasn't nearly as common as the exterior. She paused just outside and looked at the house. It was a one story, and like most other structures it was build and carved from stone. The buildings would've been made from wood, but there was a lack of wood on these islands and the stone survived the occasional flood better than wood ever could. The house had a couple of potted plants outside on either side of the door. Other than that there wasn't too much of the house. "Well... this is it." She said quietly as she glanced back to the others. She wasn't sure this was what they were expecting. After all her parents could have chosen to live in the richer district if they wanted.

Yoichi stood at the bridge for a moment after Aamori finally got moving again and then started after her. When they reached their parents house he paused long enough to make sure the others had followed too. He stepped over to Aamori and set his hand on her shoulder. "I'll be back in a little while, don't leave here without me." He paused. "I'm just going down to a friends house for a bit since this is just about the only time I can sneak away." He said with a small sigh. He was allowed to entrust Aamori to his parents, of course. So he was going to take advantage of that and spend a little time doing what he wanted to. He pulled his hand back and started down the road, turning back briefly. "Don't leave without me." He repeated and then continued off.

Kyran started after the others when they started moving again. While he walked he looked at the different houses, noticing that every couple of houses were the same. Obviously the architect had used the same few designs and just repeated them every so often. He was also noticing that these houses appeared a little less impressive than the ones they saw passing through the richer district. Could her parents really live amongst the commoners? His question was answered pretty quickly when they came to a stop again and Aamori said they were there. He turned his head slightly and looked at the house. At least they were nice looking even for common houses and who ever tended the flowers in the pots outside seemed to take really good care of them.

Not too long after Yoichi had completely vanished from sight an older woman had opened the door to the house they were in front of. She was quite beautiful and looked much younger than she actually was. But most water dragons looked younger than they were. She had extremely long cerulean blue hair that fell just above her ankles. She had horns and wings exactly the same as Aamori's though her tail was just an average scaled tail the same color as her wings. She had pale blue eyes, that nearly looked white and she wore a normal pastel colored sundress that fell just after her knees. She'd stepped outside, completely oblivious to the others outside and started watering the plants with her small, one handed watering can.

Nanashi sighed softly as he followed her along the shops. He really wanted to get out of here after getting the same displeased looks from the other shop keepers. He blinked when she let his hand go to reach for the bracelet. "La--" he started, though it was a little late. He jumped back slightly when the shop slammed shut and then quickly stepped forward again when he realized that he'd bumped into something, though he wasn't sure if it was a person or something else. He was half afraid to check, "LaRae...We should probably go..." he said quietly, reaching for her wrist again, "Come on..." he urged quietly. He really didn't want to press their luck and it was really starting to look pretty pressed. The last think he wanted to do was face Kyran later and get scolded for going out here if something happened. He should have known better, and really he did, but he was going against his better judgment. Really he was doing what Kyran had told him, he had come out with someone else, but LaRae probably wasn't the best choice that could have been made. "...You may have had better luck coming with someone else..." he said softly. He was pretty sure that the would have been a little better around LaRae if he wasn't there clinging to her hand.

Hikari continued to look around until she notice Aamori moving from the corner of her eye and she started after her again. She looked around at the other houses and smiled slgihtly, kind of surprised to see that they were going to a little house. She looked around for a moment and then looked at Yoichi when he said that he was going to see a friend. She sighed softly and then looked back to Aamori again. She didn't really think it was fair that Yoichi had to sneak off to see his friends, though at the same time, it definitely wasn't fair that Aamori was hardly allowed to have any. How could she have friends if everyone got chased away from her? She sighed softy and went to stand beside Aamori again, glancing over to the door when the woman stepped outside. She blinked, almost awed by the length of her hair. She smiled then and looked over to Aamori again, "Is that your mother?" she asked quietly. She almost looked too young to be Aamori's mother, but that was pretty common for a lot of female dragons it seemed. After all Sonia had looked more like Kanone's older sister than his mother.

LaRae glanced down to her wrist when Nanashi grabbed it and then continued to look at the other shops. They were slowly but surely, all starting to close up. Almost like the domino effect, one at time all the way down as far as her eyes could see. What was wrong with them? It wasn't like they were really disturbing their business. After all, them closing their shops was doing them more harm than keeping them open while they looked around a little. She gave another sigh. "...Unfortunately I think I agree with you." She uttered quietly about leaving. She started to turn to look at Nanashi when he said that she may have had better luck coming with someone else. She was going to say something against that but her thought totally escaped her mind when she saw the rather annoyed male water dragon standing just behind Nanashi a foot or so away. Apparently, Nanashi had bumped into a person after all.

The man wasn't far behind Nanashi and he was just standing there with his arms crossed over his chest, a scowl on his face and his tail thrashing about in annoyance behind him. He probably wouldn't have been quite so annoyed had Nanashi not bumped into him and practically ignored him afterward. "You two are bad for business." He muttered rather coldly. "Make yourselves scarce." He added lastly with a slight growl under his breath.

Aamori sighed softly when Yoichi said he was leaving for a little while. Of course he'd take his first chance to get away when he could. Though, she'd do the same which, sadly, was part of the reason she asked if Hikari and Kyran wanted to come. She had something she wanted to check on, and with Yoichi or her parents keeping a close eye on her, she couldn't really do anything. She looked over to Hikari when she came over to her. She looked back to the door for a moment when she saw her mother step outside and shook her head lightly when her mother didn't notice them standing there. She sighed softly and looked at Hikari again. "Yes. That is my mother." She paused. "She's very unobservant, as you can tell." She added lastly, speaking just a little louder so her mother could hear her.

The woman continued to go about watering the flowers, at least until she caught the unobservant comment. She immediately knew who had said that, only because her daughter had said it a few times before. She knelt down for a moment and set the watering can down beside the larger potted plant and then stood up, brushing her long hair back over her shoulder and slipping a few stray strands behind her ear. She turned and looked over at Aamori, offering a pleasant smile. "What a nice surprise." She said lightly before stepping a bit closer to them. She looked between the three of them and then rested her eyes back on her daughter. "Who are you're friends, dear?" She paused. "You've been on the main island, how did you come to meet such a diverse set of people?" She asked, obviously unaware that Aamori had even left the main island, let alone Kairava.

Aamori sighed softly after hearing her mothers questions. Why was it that the Elders couldn't even inform her parents about what was going on? Also, if Yoichi knew about it why hadn't he told them? She shook her head lightly. "This is Hikari and Kyran, mother." She said as she set her hand out to point to them slightly as she said their names. "It appears that the Elders have yet to inform you that I've been away on orders." She stated. "These two are just a couple of my traveling companions. There are also four others." She informed her. That was bound to raise a lot of questions, but those could all be answered later and by Kyran if she could work it that way. She smiled at her mother a bit. "You don't have to ask anything about that right now. Your questions will get answered, inside." She told her.

Her mother just stared at her in a slight awe after hearing that she'd left the territory. She really hadn't known and she was in utter surprise that the Elders had even let her daughter leave the main island and the surrounding ones. Not to mention without a clan escort. She gave a soft sigh followed by a nod when Aamori told her that her questions would be answered inside. So far this was starting to sound like it'd be a conversation better had inside anyway. Especially since most things relating to Elders and the like weren't supposed to be discussed with or in the presence of commoners. She finally gave in and stepped closer to Aamori for a moment, wrapping her arms around her tightly and giving her a quick hug before taking a step back. She looked over to Hikari and Kyran and smiled softly. "You two may call me Emiko."

Nanashi gasped and nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard the man behind him. He spun around and looked at him with wide eyes before he scurried further away from him, almost tripping on his coat tails. "S-s-sorry!" he stammered quietly. He looked like he was half ready to just take off running. He hadn't really wanted to come in in the first place, now all he wanted to do was leave. He wasn't to thrilled about being around so many disgruntled people. At least he was glad that LaRae agreed with him so easily about leaving. He was a lot more comfortable going through town with the entire group rather than just one other member. He swallowed hard and glanced around nervously again as his ears fell back slightly. Honestly he was probably starting to look like a cornered rabbit. He finally took a hold f LaRae's wrist again since he's dropped it when he turned around and then started to tug on her arm, "Come on..." he said quietly. He just wanted to make sure that they got out of there before they really irritated anyone else. He didn't want anyone to go off on LaRae and he didn't want anyone to go off on him either. Most grown dragon males were nearly twice his size; even Celestine would probably outgrow him by the time he was nineteen. He wasn't too sure where to go. He still kind of wanted to go to the beach but he was trying to tug LaRae back toward the park again so they could get back to the building again.

Hikari chuckled softly when Aamori said that she was unobservant. She shook her head slightly and smiled warmly when Aamori introduced her. She was a bit surprised that she hadn't even known that Aamori wasn't on the island, but then again if she hadn't been here in a while she guessed it was kind of natural. She kind of wondered how many days it took her father to realize that she hadn't returned home. She shook the thought off and then smiled again when Emiko introduced herself. "Good afternoon, Emiko." she said politely, giving her a nod.

LaRae stared slightly at the male when he told them to make themselves scarce. She really wanted to open her mouth and talk back to him, she honestly wanted to go off on the guy about how they had every right to be there. But in the back of her mind she knew that was only going to give rise to an even bigger conflict and she did want to try and at least avoid that. At least she was thinking things through rather than just going off on the person. Though, that was more or less only because the guy hadn't physically done anything to either of them, yet. She looked down to her wrist briefly and then looked up at Nanashi since he'd grabbed hold of it again and nodded lightly. She didn't want to fight him on it this time and she willingly let him pull her where ever he wanted to go, to get away.

Kyran gave a slight smile when Aamori had introduced them to her mother. He nodded lightly when her mother told them that they could call her Emiko. He was glad to see that Aamori's mother was pretty nice. He wasn't too sure what he was expecting but he had kind of expected some sort of discrimination.

Emiko smiled at Hikari and Kyran and then turned back to her daughter. She reached out and put her arm around Aamori's shoulders and started guiding her towards the front door. She glanced back to the other two and motioned them towards the door with her head. "You two are welcome inside, too." She said lightly as she removed her arm from Aamori and reached to open the door.

Aamori merely smiled a little when her mother started guiding her to the door and then started inside once the door was opened. The door opened up into living room as most houses around here had. The only difference between this room and the others was that it was furnished with such nice furniture that the room looked like they belonged in a museum. The room was square and decently sized. There was a three seat couch off to the left of the room with an antique round coffee table sitting in front of it. On either side of the couch were tall, small round end tables that matched the coffee table. They had porcelain vases, one on each table with a small arrangement of long stemmed roses. There was also one other spare chair sitting against the wall that the front door was on. Then on the wall across from the front door was an opening into the kitchen and dinning room. Then past that there were two sets of hallways. One directly back from the kitchen that you could see from the living room and then one off to the left that lead down towards Yoichi's room, and the room that used to be hers. She slipped into the house and started over towards the couch, but stopped just shy of it and sat down on the floor beside the coffee table.

Nanashi didn't hesitate to speed up when LaRae didn't fight him. He pulled her back toward the park and then sighed heavily and let her go only once they were well away from the shops and back near the bench where Celestine had decided to sleep. He looked back to her for a moment and then looked away again. "...Sorry..." he said quietly. He really wasn't the best person to go sight seeing with, especially not around here. He sighed and just sat down on the ground beside the bench and looked at his hand, which was still slightly shaking. He just closed his fist and sighed, dropping his hand back to his lap. He hated getting so rattled when nothing really happened.

Celestine groaned softly when he heard someone near him again. He turned his head slgihtly and looked over to Nanashi from under his arm before he sighed and sat himself up a little, rubbing his eyes. He had been awake for a few minutes, though he was trying to go back to sleep. "...What?" he asked dully as he looked over to him and then up to LaRae.

Hikari smiled to Emiko again and then nodded and followed her to the door as she guided Aamori inside. She stepped inside after them and then looked around for a few moments. "Oh wow..." she said as she looked at the furniture, "This is really nice." Again, not quite what she expected just from looking outside. She smiled slightly at Aamori when she sat down on the floor and then tilted her head slightly and just went to stand near the couch to wait to be invited to sit or until Emiko sat down.

LaRae looked at Nanashi when he let her go and gave a sigh when he apologized. "You don't have to apologize, it isn't your fault that the people here discriminate against other clans." She honestly couldn't see blaming him since he coudn't help the clan he was from. She was pretty sure that was why the shop keepers were so quick to judge them and shut down their shops. But she really couldn't hold that against Nanashi. Her eyes shifted over to Celestine for a moment when she noticed him starting to sit up. She gave another sigh when he spoke and then glanced down at Nanashi briefly. "Well... lets just say that the people here aren't very comfortable with a few of us." She said quietly. She wasn't really sure who else was going to get similar treatment but she was almost certain that she'd get treated no better now since quite a large number of the shop keepers had been made aware that she was 'with' Nanashi. It didn't really bother her too much, but the reasoning for why it happened, when all she was doing was going to look at some jewelry, that bothered her and it was uncalled for. The shop keeper didn't need to react like that.

Emiko started to move over towards the chair and paused, setting her hand down on the back of it lightly. She watched Hikari head towards the couch and then looked back to Kyran when he came inside and shut the door behind them. She smiled lightly and looked back towards Hikari seeing as she hadn't sat down. "Come now, the furniture isn't going to break when you touch it. Go ahead and sit down, dear." She said with a soft chuckle. She turned slightly and looked back over to Kyran. "You too, go ahead and have a seat."

Kyran looked over to Emiko when she told him to have a seat and smiled slightly. He too, had mostly been waiting for permission to sit down. He also was almost afraid to sit down considering how nice the furniture was in their living room. He assumed the rest of the house probably looked this nice. He started over to the couch and sat down on the edge of it, resting his arms against his knees lightly.

Aamori had sat on the floor rather than on the couch or the chair mostly because she knew someone would have to sit on the floor. There was only enough room for four people to sit and she was almost positive that her father would make an appearance sooner or later. She looked over to her mother after she told Hikari and Kyran to sit down. "So you honestly didn't know that I was even gone?" She asked quietly. She was trying not to show it but she was a little hurt that her own mother wasn't aware that her only daughter had left the territory.

Emiko continued to stand beside the chair and then looked down to Aamori when she heard her question. She shook her head slightly. "No dear, I was unaware." She told her. "You know that your father and I don't see you very often anymore, so we were none the wiser. We thought you were still undergoing training at the building on the main island." She paused. "...And Yoichi never said a word and he still got up and went to the main island everyday like usual ...so we really didn't know." She said quietly.

An older man started for the living room when he heard Aamori's voice. He, much like his wife didn't look his age. He was tall, though not as tall as Kyran. He had short hair, the color of Aamori and Yoichi's with two horns that came from the side of his head. They were similar to Aamori's except they came to a point just a bit past where his ears were. Clearly they had been filed a bit to keep them from wrapping all the way around his head. Quite a few water dragons in the clan had horns that wrapped around their heads like Aamori's which was why her parents managed to be together with similar horns. He had darker eyes, closer to the color Aamori's were naturally. His wings were like Yoichi's and his tail was the same as both of his children. The colors though, were a few shades darker. He stepped into the living room and smiled quite warmly when he did see Aamori sitting there on the floor. He stepped over behind her and leaned over slightly so that he could set his hand down on her head lightly. "It's nice to see you, little girl." He said softly.

Celestine yawned again and then sighed, "Well what did you expect?" he said simply, "It's going to be the same everywhere for some of us. Wait until I get to you place or you get to his and so on so forth." he said indifferently, "It happens." He stretched slightly and winced when he felt his back crack then sighed and turned around and hung his legs over the side of the bench. He glanced down to Nanashi and just put his hand on top of his head. "Don't worry about them. They don't matter." He said simply. Nanashi went to great lengths to try to make him feel better then he was down, so he didn't think it would hurt to give him some words of encouragement. The guy looked half ready to cry right now. "Just worry about the people who matter."

Nanashi looked up to LaRae again and then sighed softly. He still wished they weren't so bad. He didn't want to ruin her time because everyone was afraid he was going to pull something. They probably closed up shop because they were afraid the filthy halfbreed was going to try to steal something because there was just no possible way he could afford anything and hence had no other business in a market. He sighed and looked back to Celestine when he heard him and felt his hand on his head. He blinked and stared at him for a moment then half smiled. "...Yeah...I guess..." he said quietly.

Celestine just offered him a little hint of a smile and patted his head before he pulled his hand back. "As long as the rest of us get along with you that's all that should matter. After all we're the ones you're stuck with, you're not going to have to put up with everyone else for long." He said simply. "Am I right?" He said, looking up to LaRae again."

Hikari smiled slightly and then laughed softly, "Thank you." she said before she sat down on the middle cushion beside Kyran. She looked over to him for a moment and then glanced around the room again until she heard Aamori's voice. She looked over to her and then to Emiko again, her smile fading a bit. She knew Aamori had to be a little bothered that no one even noticed that she was gone. She knew she would be. She glanced up again when she saw the man come into the room and smiled a little again, assuming that to be Aamori's father. At least her and her parents were on good terms. That was always a nice bonus.

LaRae knew what to expect when it came to opposing clans in different territories. That didn't mean that she wanted to believe that it was really like that. She'd never really left Medini other than for the festival and for this trip so she honestly couldn't speak from experience when it came to discrimination. The only real time she'd felt uncomfortable was in Caledonia and that was mostly thanks to Celestine's less than welcoming nature while she was there. She tried to give others a chance first if anything. She'd rather think every person was decently nice, at least until they proved otherwise. Thankfully it didn't take too long for someone's true colors to come out when they honestly didn't like a certain clan. While they were here, she had also kind of hoped that her being from the earth clan might have over shadowed Nanashi's being from the fire clan. Especially since the earth and water clans weren't exactly against one another at present. So much for that. Now she felt a little bad for dragging him along with her to the shops. She glanced over to Celestine when he started talking again and tilted her head slightly when she thought he posed a question in her direction. She didn't think she was hearing things and he didn't really sound pissed off or agitated... That was completely weird. She stared at him half dumbfounded for a moment before opening her mouth. "Yes. You're right." She answered quickly. She continued to just stand there a little in shock that he'd even spoken to her and he was kind of nice going about it.

Aamori tilted her head back slightly when she felt a hand on her head. She smiled a bit seeing her father behind her. "You too, father." She replied. It had been some time since she had seen either of her parents, so she guessed she could understand her parents not knowing that she had been gone. It still hurt nonetheless, and sadly there was little that she could do about getting to see them more. She was lucky to see them once or twice a month. Her schedule just didn't permit time for extra activities half of the time. She heaved a heavy sigh and watched as her father removed his hand from her head and started over to the chair to sit down. She was probably only on good terms with either of her parents because the times when they did get to see one another were special. At least that's what it felt like to her. Though this time... not so much. Mostly because she was so bothered by the fact they didn't even know she was gone.

Once he had reached the chair and sat down he looked over to the couch noting the two people there that he didn't recognize. He continued to look at them for a moment longer before opening his mouth to speak. "I assume that you two must be friends of Aamori's." He paused. "My wife and I don't get very many young visitors after all." He said with a soft laugh. He offered a pleasant smile. "My name is Satoshi." He told them both.

Emiko smiled a bit once Satoshi had given Hikari and Kyran his name and then turned her attention back down to Aamori. She could tell, only slightly, that she must have been bothered finding out that they didn't know she'd been gone. She wasn't exactly sure what to say to her to make her feel better. Things between Aamori and them, had gotten rough believe it or not. Mostly because once she came into her true self for lack of better words she was practically ripped from their hands and tossed into that training building. So neither her or Satoshi really knew what to do or say to her half of the time because they barely knew her as a young woman. They knew her as a child, however. Which probably explained a good portion of why Aamori preferred to act like a child half of the time. She sighed softly and shifted her hand slightly from the back of the chair down to her husbands shoulder. "Dear, Aamori's been away from Kairava." She said quietly. "These two are a couple of her traveling companions." She followed up.

Kyran watched when Aamori's father had come into the room and then made his way over to the chair. He offered a polite nod and small smile when he gave his name. He waited until after Emiko had spoken to return the gesture and give his name. "My name is Kyran." He said lightly as he looked at Satoshi and Emiko. He was pleasantly surprised to see that both Aamori's parents were really nice and they seemed to both be completely okay with the fact that he and Hikari were from different clans. Or at least that was the impression that he was getting from them.

Celestine nodded slightly and then quirked and eyebrow at LaRae when he noticed the way she was looking at him. "What's that look for?" He asked simply, looking away again, "You act as if I've never spoken to you before." he said simply. He looked back to Nanashi again and finally smiled slightly at him and put his hand on his shoulder again, though he seemed to have caught him off guard because he flinched when his hand connected with his shoulder. "You are so flinchy..."

Nanashi was looking up to LaRae to see 'the look' when Celestine touched him. He jumped, mainly because he was still a little shaky from before. He looked back to Celestine, catching his smile before he laughed weakly. "Ha... yeah...I guess I am." he said as he started to get up and dust himself off. He sat back down on the bench beside Celestine, "...And you do rarely speak to her...civilly at least."

Celestine crossed his arms, "Well...I'm stuck with her, aren't I?" he said, as he closed his eyes, though he glanced up to her again with one emerald eye. "...May as well play nice." He wasn't about to admit that LaRae wasn't as bad as he thought, or at least not right out. She had been pretty helpful when he was injured and he did appreciate what she had done with the flowers. He looked up to her again and half smiled before he rolled his eyes a little and looked away again.

Nanashi looked at Celestine for a few moments and then smiled at him warmly. "...You must be feeling better." he said simply. "...You're smiling. You never smile." That was the first he'd even seen him offer to smile in a while. Actually Celestine hardly ever smiled even since they first met. He always looked sad or annoyed, so this was kind of new.

Celestine blinked again and looked back to Nanashi, looking rather surprised. He was about to argue but then realized that he couldn't He really didn't smile a lot. He stared at him for a moment then looked away and uncrossed his arms, leaning back slightly and bracing his arms on the bench behind him as he looked up at the sky. "...I guess I am." he agreed simply.

Hikari looked at Satoshi and smiled when he said that they must be Aamori's friends and introduced himself. She, like Kyran, waited for Emiko to finish speaking and waited for him to introduce himself before she spoke up as well. "My name is Hikari." she told them, "And I think 'friend' is a safe term." she said as she cast a smile to Aamori. She would like to think of most of the group as friends. She'd even call Nero a friend if he wouldn't fight her on it. Besides if it was her daughter on a trip like this she would feel a lot better knowing that she was traveling with people who thought of her as a friend rather than just a simple traveling companion. At least that meant she was actually with people who liked her and cared about her.

LaRae continued to stand there, the look on her face slowly dissipating. She didn't respond when Celestine asked what the look was for or when he said that she was acting like he'd never spoken to her before. Well, he hadn't ever really spoken to her and been nice about it. She merely nodded slightly when Nanashi said that Celestine rarely spoke to her, and civilly. That was pretty much what she was thinking, she just hadn't managed to get the words out. She was at a loss for words at the moment just because she still couldn't believe that he'd even spoken to her, and asked her a question. Now he was even willing to 'play nice'. Then, to top it all off he was even smiling a little. She shook her head lightly and finally managed to find her voice again. "I'm not so sure that his talking to me civilly, his willing to play nice, and his smiling a little constitutes him feeling better..." She paused. "Sounds more to me like he's sick, perhaps even running a fever." She said with a slight laugh.

Aamori glanced over to Hikari when she heard her say that 'friend' was a safe term. She had thought about introducing both Hikari and Kyran as her friends, but she felt saying they were her traveling companions was a little more accurate. Not that she didn't see them as friends, she did. But she also felt a little off calling them her friends. After all, she stopped having friends when she started her training. She had Hisako and that was pretty much it. Other than a child-hood friend of hers that she rarely saw anymore. She sat there quietly for a few more minutes before she decided that she was ready to do something else. This was going to be one of the few times that she could try and sneak off. Thankfully Yoichi was gone, to a friends and Hisako hadn't come with them. She just needed a reason to get up and leave the room. She glanced back to Hikari, thinking for a moment before she smiled slightly. She turned a little and looked over to her mother, offering a smile as she started to stand up. "I think I'm going to go show Hikari my room." She said and then looked back to Hikari motioning with her hand to follow her as she started towards the kitchen. "Oh, and Kyran can start answering any of your questions." She added lastly.

Kyran looked at Aamori when she started to get up and then gave a soft sigh hearing her say that he could start answering her parents questions. Seeing as she was also trying to snag Hikari he coudln't help feeling the odd man out. Thankfully though he wasn't uncomfortable in such situations and he didn't mind answering any questions that they had to ask. Also, if they were unaware of the situation going on that lead to the whole trip, he was the one with the paper that kind of explained everything. He turned slightly and looked over to her parents. "You can ask me anything, I don't mind answering." He said lightly.

Emiko was a bit happier hearing Hikari say that friend was a safe term. She knew Aamori didn't have a lot of friends so that did make a world of difference. She looked at Aamori when she started to stand up and then gave a slight nod when she said she wanted to show Hikari her room. It'd been years since she heard Aamori say something like that, she just wished there had been more of a real room to show her. "Alright, dear." She said with a smile and then she looked over to Kyran after hearing him say that he was willing to answer any questions. She was glad, she did have a few that she wanted to ask and she didn't want to bother Aamori with them since she wanted to do something else with her friend. As long as she didn't leave the house there was no problem.

Satoshi continued to just sit in the chair, being quiet. He really didn't speak a whole lot unless spoken to. He did however acknowledge Aamori's friends names when they introduced themselves. He had been surprised to hear that Aamori had left Kairava, but he kept that to himself for the moment. Especially after hearing that Kyran would be able to answer any questions that they had. He knew that his wife would have plenty of questions so all he really had to do was just sit there quietly and listen.

Celestine looked back to LaRae and scoffed, "What do you want me to be a jerk?" He said in an almost snappy tone. He sighed and shook his head then blinked when he felt a hand on his forehead. He looked at Nanashi then rolled his eyes again and shoved his hand down. "Lay off! I'm not sick!" he told him as she shook his head. "Geez, your hands are cold..." he said as he rubbed his forehead where Nanashi had touched him.

Nanashi smiled slightly at LaRae's comment and then reached over to check playfully. "Nope." He said just before Celestine shoved his hand away. He laughed softly as he put his hand in his lap again and then sighed when he said that his hands were cold. That was a little unusual since it was so warm out. He raised his hand to his face ad touched his fingers to his cheek. They were pretty cold...that or his cheek was hot, he couldn't really tell. He still didn't really feel any better than he had this morning when he got up, but he didn't feel worse either, so he doubted that he had a fever. He just shrugged slightly and dropped his hands again. "Heh, sorry."

Hikari looked over to Aamori again when she said that she wanted to show her her room. She smiled and started to stand up again, though she glanced back to Kyran when he sighed. She put her hand on his head for a moment before she smiled to Aamori's parents and started to the kitchen after Aamori. She kind of wondered what kind of a room she had here since she seemed to stay at the training center more than here. She smiled at her when they got out of the kitchen and closer her door. "What's in your room?" she asked with a smile. Somehow she doubted this was the only reason she'd gotten her back here.

LaRae couldn't help but chuckle a little when Nanashi reached over to check Celestine for a fever. She had only been joking, well, mostly joking. She did think something was weird though about Celestine being so... friendly towards her today. She glanced over to Nanashi when she heard Celestine say that his hands were cold. She hadn't really been paying attention to it before when they were holding hands so she couldn't say that they'd been like that. "...Are you feeling alright, Nanashi?" She asked. "...Maybe I was suggesting that the wrong person was sick..." She said quietly, remembering that Nanashi had mentioned being sick on the boat over here. Maybe that was still bothering him? She wasn't really sure.

Aamori went into the kitchen, turning to her left and passed through the dinning room straight back to the hallway that lead down to her room and Yoichi's. She paused in front of her door and glanced over at Hikari when she asked what was in her room. She gave a small sigh. She really hated to answer that question, mostly because this really wasn't her room any longer. She reached out and set her hand down on the door knob and then turned it, opening the door wide so that you could see inside. She stepped inside after a moment and sighed once more. The room was even a different color than she remembered it. The room had a couple of small book shelves in it, and of course there was a rather detailed looking harp off in the corner with a small bench to match it. There was also a chess set against one of the walls, with two chairs. And lastly, a rather large cabinet that was encased in glass that held several dozen little knickknacks for the most part. Everything inside of the case was old silver or gold items that had washed up on the beaches. One of the few things her father liked to collect. There was even an old cutlass in the center of that cabinet, which was what he was most proud of finding. She looked around the room for a moment and waited for Hikari to enter before returning to shut the door behind them. "...Well... welcome to my room." She said in a slightly enthused tone while she started over to the larger of the two windows in the room.

Nanashi looked up to LaRae again and smiled weakly as she shook his head. "I'm fine." he assured her. It wasn't really anything that anyone needed to worry about. "I think all of the weather changes are getting to me. It's nothing." He was pretty used to being sick. He tended to get that way a lot. Even though he was well developed for a half breed, he still had a few issues. One of which was a fairly poor immune system, which didn't sit very well with his poor tolerance for cold weather.

Celestine looked up to LaRae for a moment and then glanced over to Nanashi again before he raised his hand this time and touched the back of his fingers to his cheek. "...Your face is warm..." he said simply. That really didn't make a lot of sense to him. Maybe Nanashi just had poor circulation in his fingers or something, but he did feel like he had a slight fever. Then again he couldn't' really be sure. He didn't go around touching Nanashi a lot so for all he knew he could always be warm like that. He was from the fire clan after all.

Nanashi leaned away from Celestine's hand and sighed, "...I said I'm fine." he said again. "Really."

Hikari watched as Aamori opened the door and stepped into her room and then followed her inside and looked around. She blinked and then smiled slightly, "Very nice." she said as she walked over to examine the case of items. After a moment she sighed softly and looked back to Aamori with a slight smile. "So...where are we going?" She asked with a soft laugh as she followed her to the window. She smiled at her with that 'I know what you're thinking' look on her face. She looked around again and then let her eyes rest on Aamori again. She'd snuck out enough times to know when excusing yourself from prying eyes was in order, and that was pretty much exactly what Aamori had just done.

LaRae gave a soft sigh when Nanashi said that he was fine. She wasn't sure that she believed that, especially after Celestine said that his face was warm. She wasn't any better at deeming what was really normal for Nanashi but since he said he thought the weather changes were getting to him, he should probably take it easy anyway. Not that they were really out running around that much, they'd only gone to market and back. "...Either way, we've got nothing else to really do right now." She paused. "Maybe we should just go back to the main building and relax for awhile?" She suggested quietly. If he really wasn't feeling well and lying about it she didn't want to have him out exerting himself and making it worse and if he was fine like he said, then there was no harm in being cautious.

Aamori paused at the window and undid the latch to push the window open. The window itself opened up like a set of french doors. She glanced over to Hikari for a moment. She gave a slight smile briefly and then started up onto the windows ledge and then over and out quietly. "...I thought I'd try searching somewhere for where I have to go for that relic." She paused. "Considering I have no idea where to even start..." She said quietly. She took a couple steps away from the window. "...Once you're out, push lightly on the two windows they'll close and latch on their own." She told her as she started a couple more feet towards the back of the house.

Nanashi looked over to LaRae again and sighed softly, "...It doesn't really matter to me, LaRae. If you want to keep exploring we can. Really I'm alright, it happens a lot." he tried to assure her, "It has never slowed me down before." He stretched slightly and then stood up and glanced back to Celestine. "...So...why are you out here sleeping?" he asked curiously.

Celestine looked up to him and shrugged slightly. "...I don't like being indoors. There's no wind." he said simply, "And I wanted to get away from Aamori's crazy brother..." he said, rolling his eyes.

Nanashi blinked and then laughed softly, "Oh my. I think we can imagine." he said as he glanced back to LaRae. Celestine almost looked more like a girl than she did in some areas. He shook his head slightly, "Well...I suppose we will let you get back to your nap."

Celestine shook his head when Nanashi laughed and then looked at LaRae again before he looked back to Nanashi. "Seems like I'm not the only one who's doing better." He said simply. Nanashi never really laughed around the rest of the group. As far as he knew, Nanashi didn't even know how to laugh.

Hikari nodded slightly to her when she said that she needed to go figure out where they were going. "That sounds like a plan...But why are we sneaking out the back way? You would think if your elders sent you on this trip they could at least let you gather your barrings." she said as she stepped up on the window sill and hopped out, turning around once she was out to close the windows carefully behind her. She then hurried after Aamori so that she could walk beside her. She hoped she didn't draw too much attention to Aamori's little mission.

LaRae shook her head very lightly when he said it didn't matter. Maybe to him it didn't but it mattered to her a bit and she didn't want to have him following her around if he wasn't feeling well. There was going to be more time to look around too, it wasn't like today was it and then they'd be gone forever from this island. Or rather she assumed that they'd be here a while considering how much time they had spent in the past two territories. She glanced over to Celestine at the mention of Aamori's brother and shook her head again. "...You were not alone in wanting to get away from him." She commented quietly. Yoichi did seem quite a bit forward when it came to ladies, and in this case even feminine looking boys by the sound of it. She looked back at Nanashi after Celestine spoke. She guessed Nanashi was doing better, at least with being around one other person. She was kind of glad of that, it was about time he started to get a little more comfortable around someone else. She glanced back towards the main building and then rested her eyes back on Nanashi. "There isn't much else I really want to explore right now." She paused. "So we could go back to the building until later..." She said quietly. She couldn't think of much else that she really wanted to look at, not to mention her drive to look around kind of took a dive when they were told to leave the merchant district.

Aamori turned slightly and looked to Hikari to answer her question. "...Well ...I wanted to do this on my own, without an escort and where I want to go ...technically I'm not allowed admittance." She told her quietly. She then started around the back of the houses on this island. She didn't bother too much with trying to not be seen except when she passed from one house to the other. She continued like that until she came upon that round building that you could see from the top of the bridge on their way over. She practically scurried right up to it, towards the doors. Pausing, and hiding herself behind the tall plants that were beside the door. They were relatively thick shrub style plants that stood a good five feet tall. She had to duck down slightly hide behind them, but she was pretty easily hidden. She peeked over to the door, noticing that there was sign hanging beside the door that said there was someone inside. She rolled her eyes slightly. That meant they had to wait until the other person left before they could sneak inside.Thankfully though it didn't take all that long for the people inside to exit the building. By the looks of it, the woman was clearly an Elder and she had her escorts with her. She waited until they were just far enough away and then slipped out from behind the bush grabbing hold of the door just before it was going to shut. She gave a relieved sigh since she had been able to catch the door. Had she not, it would've locked as soon as it shut. She pulled the door open a bit and held it open for Hikari while she motioned for her quickly.

Nanashi smiled slightly at Celestine and then looked back to LaRae. "Alright." he said finally. He couldn't complain about getting to stay in a nice room when he wasn't feeling all that great. He sighed softly and looked back toward the direction of the main building. He guess he could wait to see the sunset or whatever else there was to see here. He didn't really want to stay hidden in his room the whole time that they were here but after their little misadventure int he market he thought that may be a good idea. Finally he glanced back to Celestine again and tilted his head. "Are you coming?"

Celestine looked at Nanashi and then stretched out on the bench again. "Nah... I like it better out here." he said simply. At least he had calmed down a bit from this morning, but he still wasn't too keen on being in a building where everyone else say Aamori as something overly special. He liked Aamori well enough, he could tolerate her just fine, but he didn't want to feel forced to treat her with respect when he felt like throwing something at her. Just because she was born with a echoing voice didn't mean a lot to him. She wasn't going to be his elder after all, so he didn't see why he had to kiss her tail just because he was here. He knew that she didn't expect that of him, but he knew anyone else here would. Yoichi had already gotten onto him once after all.

Hikari blinked when she said that she wasn't allowed admittance to where she wanted to go. "...Oh." she said as she hurried after her, trying to stay in the shadows as much as possible to keep from glittering too much. She was pretty used to sneaking around so it didn't bother her much to be doing it with Aamori, though she was kind of surprised to hear that she wasn't allowed admittance to this place. Now she was curious to know where they were going. Once they got behind the bushes she had to duck down a lot further than Aamori did, partially to keep her horns hidden from view. She waited silently and watched as the elder left the building and then looked at Aamori as she scurried out to catch the door. Once she motioned for her she quickly dashed to the door, moving so quickly and silently that she almost seemed to be gliding. She was inside before most would have thought she could be. After all, when she was hurrying she could almost stay on Kyran's heels while he was running.

LaRae smiled a bit when Nanashi finally said alright. She may not have fought him on leaving the market, but she'd surely fight him on going back to the main building. She stood there for a moment longer before looking at Celestine briefly when he said he liked it better out here. She could understand that, after all she was more comfortable with greenery around and most buildings or houses didn't even have enough flowers in them for her tastes. Luckily, this main building did have a nice portion of grass; Which had surprised her a little. She started to take a few steps back towards the building, pausing for a moment with the intention of saying something to Celestine but couldn't think of anything. She ordinarily might have said something along the lines of 'let us know if you need anything.' or something like that but she was still a little off by the fact that he'd even spoken nicely to her so she really wasn't sure what to say to him. It was probably better to just keep her mouth shut for now for the sake of saving herself from making a fool of herself. She just knew she'd fumble over anything nice directed at him right now anyway. She sighed softly and then started to walk again, headed for the main building.

Aamori waited for Hikari to slip inside before she headed inside too. She turned around in the process of entering so that she could quietly pull the door shut and make sure that no one saw them enter. Once the door was shut she gave a sigh of relief as she turned back towards Hikari and smiled a little. She was at least thankful that Hikari was pretty good as maneuvering quietly. She was pretty sure that Hikari had probably snuck out her fair share of times. After all, in positions like theirs you could only stand to follow the rules for so long before you were driven to sneak off. She took a couple steps forward, over to another set of doors. Though these were just regular old doors, nothing to be worried about. She set her hand against the door and pressed on it as she stepped into the main room. The main room was pretty large, completely rounded and filled with shelves upon shelves of books. The shelves also reached from floor to ceiling on the outer most wall that rounded the whole building. Of course every single book in here was pretty old and half of them were written in her clans native language, thankfully she could read them. She gave a rather annoyed sigh when she saw just how many books were here. "...This could take awhile..." She muttered, continuing to stand there for a moment half awestruck. This might have been less time consuming if she had some idea of where to look because then all she'd have to do would be find the specific books on the subject matter.

Nanashi looked over to LaRae again when she started back to the main building and fell in step beside her. He smiled slightly at her and then sighed softly and turned his head away to cough lightly. You'd think with all of the moister in the air from the sea that his throat wouldn't feel so dry, but he still half felt like he was choking on dry bread. Once they got back to the main building he stepped ahead of her again and opened the door for her.

Hikari looked around silently once she followed Aamori into the main room. She blinked and then her eyes widened in amazement when she looked around at all of the books. "Oh...wow!" she said quietly as she stared at the rows of books. "This is almost like the library in Glenys!" She moved over to one shelf and picked off one of the books, opening it carefully to make sure that she didn't crinkle the delicate old pages. "Oh, I wish I could read your language, I can only imagine the kinds of things we could learn!" One certain way to get Hikari's attention was to put her in a room full of books. She loved to read and she loved to learn, so being in a library full of new knowledge was like her greatest dream. Unfortunately, her inability to read the language of the other clans didn't make it too easy to gather anything from anything here. At best she could look at pictures if there were any. She sighed softly and closed the book, placing it back on the shelf right where she'd gotten it.

LaRae looked at Nanashi and smiled a bit when she saw that he had opened the door yet again for her. She gave a slight nod of her head and then stepped inside. Once inside the building she paused where she was and looked back at Nanashi. "...Do you just want to go back to our room?" She asked. She wasn't sure what he'd rather do, though she wasn't even sure there was much of anything to do here. At least they were somewhere that could be considered safe.

Aamori glanced over to Hikari when she started to look at one of the books. She smiled slightly. "Not all of the books are in my clans language, at least to my knowledge. So you should be able to find a couple you can read." She told her as she moved over to a shelf and reached for a book. She slid it down and into her hands and opened it, skimming a couple pages before putting the book back. "Most of these books are supposed to be looked at by official Elders only." She paused. "I haven't quite reached that stage yet since I haven't mastered all the special abilities..." She said with a sigh. "The books that are in my clans language probably hold really important or special information that only our clan should be looking at. At least I assume that anyway." She moved to another book and pulled it down from the shelf and proceeded to skim through it. "...There are too many books..." She uttered. "...and I don't even know what I'm looking for..." She finished with that book and set it back down on the shelf before moving to a whole other set of shelves to start looking. Thankfully a good number of the books did have something written on the binding so that might save her from having to look at every single book in the whole building. She set her index finger down on the binding of a book and started reading the words on it, moving down the row until she came upon another book that didn't have anything written on the binding. There were more books with words on the bindings than there were without so she thought the ones without titles and such might hold some form of information that would help her find the relic. She opened the book and skimmed it a bit. This one wasn't quite as old as some of the others, at least the pages inside looked relatively new. Perhaps they'd even been rewritten and stuck in the same old binding. She spent a bit more time looking at this book than she did the others that she'd picked up. Clearly finding something of interest to her. After a moment she lifted her eyes from the book and started looking around the shelves in a slightly impatient manor. When she didn't see what she was looking for she sighed heavily and looked over at Hikari. "...I think I may have found something but this book is one of five..." She muttered a bit annoyed. "The other four must be scattered in here..."
