Nanashi stepped inside after LaRae and sighed softly as he let the door close behind him. "Oh...I...I don't care." he said quietly. "We can if you want...or we could stay in the court yard...it doesn't matter to me." He knew that LaRae preferred to be around greenery, and the courtyard was about as good as it got around here. He sighed softly and walked a little closer to one of the arches and leaned against it lightly as he looked back to LaRae with a slight smile. "You can choose...I don't mind either way."

Hikari smiled slightly at Aamori and sighed softly as she continued to look around for some books that she could read. She picked one off of the shelf and read through a few pages before she skipped to another section to read. Most of what she could find in these books she could probably find at home. Her clan was well known for gathering information on anything and everything that they could. She was a prime example of that. Her clan had gathered notes and legends from nearly all of the clans, and nothing was ever discarded. There were still documents locked away in her library that dated all the way back to when the clans still got along decently with one another. That was where most of the information on other clans came from, there were few documents in on other clans in more recent years since everyone was so secretive nowadays. She looked over to Aamori and put the book that she had away when she spoke and then tilted her head slightly before she walked over to her. "One of five?" she asked as she looked at the book for a moment. "Hmm...well this could take a bit... What did it say?" she asked as she started to search the shelves for any books that looked similar to the one that Aamori was holding.

LaRae glanced towards the courtyard at it's mention, her eyes lingering there for a moment before she stepped a little closer to it. She gave a very soft sigh and shifted her eyes over to Nanashi briefly. "Am I always going to be the one to decide things?" She asked, not really looking for an answer. She was merely pointing out that it always seemed to come down to what she wanted to do, and where she wanted to go when they were together. About the only thing he had mentioned that he wanted to do was go to the beach later and see the sunset and even then, she doubted that he'd do that alone. So if she didn't want to go to, he probably wouldn't go at all. She shifted slightly and then turned a little so that she was facing him. "...So you said before, the weather changes are starting to bother you." She paused, changing the subject slightly. "Are you honestly feeling one hundred percent well or are you just saying that you're fine because you don't want anyone worrying about you?" She asked mostly because she didn't think he'd tell the truth if he really wasn't feeling well. Plus she doubted that anyone had ever really shown any interest in his health prior to this trip.

Aamori shut the book gently and held it in her hand as she looked over to Hikari while she was searching the shelves. "...There are five in all, like a series I guess." She paused. "They should all look like this one, without any writing on the binding and the pages inside should look newer than the binding itself." She told her as she moved over to another shelf and started to pick through the books. "I haven't read too much, but the books appear to be on the machines that help generate the fog that surrounds the main island and it's sister islands." She gave a small chuckle. "Most people on the islands, and the other territories don't know that the fog isn't natural fog. It's all generated by some special machines. Sadly, I know little of them and have no idea where they are." She answered as she pulled another book from the shelf and opened it. She looked at the pages, seeing they were as old as the binding and gave a sigh as she set it back down. "And... this is going to take awhile." She said with another sigh. "Thankfully though, the books without written spines are easy enough to spot." She said as she moved again, pulling another book. She smiled after she opened it and saw the newer pages. They were so clean, and the text looked not even a year old. Obviously the books weren't really all that old. Perhaps even barely opened considering their impeccable condition. "I've got another one." She announced. "Three more to go." She said lastly as she held onto that book too and began to look around again. She could only hope that these books could help answer her question as to where the relic was kept. After all, she had no idea where the machines were for the fog and barely anyone in Kairava knew of the machines... So perhaps wherever they were located was where the relic was? She could only hope it would be that simple.

Nanashi looked back to LaRae again and smiled weakly when she asked if it was always going to be up to her. "...I suppose. It is hard to make decisions when I really do not care wither way... I am easy to please." He sighed softly when she started to ask about him again. "...LaRae, it's nothing..." he said again, though he knew that she wasn't going to leave him alone on that. "...I'm used to it... It happens a lot, I'll be fine. My throat is a little sore and I have a headache... It's just a cold." He assured her. He probably got them a little more easily than even a human, but he didn't want to complain. There wasn't much to be done about it. He stepped away from the arch and entered the courtyard so that he could stand in the sun where it was warmer. He leaned against the stone again and closed his eyes for now. LaRae was right about no one being concerned about his health before now. Even he wasn't really concerned. He had just come to expect it and live with it. "...I think it's just going from Radah to Caledonia and then here... The temperatures are all so different, I haven't had time to get used to them really before they changed again."

Hikari nodded slightly as she continued to look over the books, picking out one without a title to look through it. Whens he saw the older pages she closed it and put it away. "...Hm... Well I didn't think that the fog was natural... No natural fog would remain in one place for so long, it would have to eventually dissipate." she said simply. She picked out another book and checked it, noticing the newer pages. "I think this is one." she said as she turned to take it over to Aamori. "...So...what do these fog machines have to do with where we need to go? Are they concealing something more than the islands?"

LaRae gave a small sigh hearing again that he was fine. He knew himself better than her, so maybe he was alright. But even if it was just a cold it could easily get worse due to over exertion and that was the last thing he needed. So long as he was taking it easy then she guessed she had no gripes. She stood by the arches for a moment longer before finally stepping out into the courtyard. She smiled slightly as she stood on the grass and finally just gave in and sat down, running her fingers through it. At least they seemed to take good care of what little grass they had on this island. She for the most part had completely skipped over the first thing he said, only because to her his health was a bit more important. Thinking now though, it was kind of a shame that he didn't care either way. Sometimes it was nice getting to do the things you wanted to do, or go the places you wanted to go. Then again... always getting to do what you wanted and go where you wanted did kind of get tiring and even a little annoying especially when it turned out like it did at the marketplace.

Aamori continued to look through a couple more books, only to have to put them back on the shelf followed by a disappointed sigh. She looked up at Hikari when she came over with a book. She took it and opened it up for a moment, smiling a bit when she noticed it was indeed another of the books. That meant they had two more to find. "I'm not entirely sure that the fog has anything to do with where the relic is, to be honest. But since the knowledge on the fog and the machines isn't well known... I thought that might be a place to start." She answered. She started to move again, towards the back wall to look at the books there. She started to pull one down and look at it. "Unfortunately, we could be doing all this looking... for nothing." She said with a sigh as she set the book back on the shelf and moved on to another one. "I do hope though, that this isn't a waste of our time." She said as she looked down at the book she had in her hands. "Found another one." She said as she set it down on the others. That made four now, only one left. She started over to the center of the room where there was a table and set the four books down and then looked back to Hikari. "...Watch ...This last one is going to be a pain in the rear to find..."

Nanashi watched LaRae go sit down int eh grass and sighed softly before he went to join her. He looked at her for a few moments and then glanced away again before he just laid back and crossed his arms behind his head. He could tell she wasn't too thrilled with his answers but he was only telling the truth. He honestly didn't care about getting his way. He never got it before so he eventually just stopped caring. If you didn't have much of an opinion then you had no room to be disappointed when you didn't get your way. Now that he did have the chance to voice himself to someone who would more than likely listen, he still just felt no need to. He was content as long as he was with her. Where they were or what they were doing didn't matter too much to him. All he wanted to avoid were things that would get them both in trouble, though even then he still went against that little voice in his head that was telling him to say no. He finally looked over to LaRae again and smiled weakly before he closed his eyes. "...At least it's peaceful here."

Hikari smiled slightly when Aamori took the book and then went back to searching the shelves as she listened to her. "...Well, at least it is a starting point. Either way it will not be a waste of time. If the item is not there then we will have ruled out that location." she said simply. She sighed softly when she said that the last book was going to be a pain to find. "Yes...always in the last place you look." she said with a soft sigh. Her only concern was that someone was going to find them. She was pretty sure Aamori would be in enough trouble, she hated to think what they'd do if they found her in here, too.

LaRae looked over at Nanashi when he came over and laid down. She gave a slight smile after hearing what he said. "...For the time being it seems." She added quietly. It looked like most everyone else had gone out, or they were somewhere else in the building. She was kind of glad to not see Aamori's brother when they came in. She wasn't sure how much of him she could handle in one day. Not to mention she wasn't sure she keep herself from being rude and telling him to leave her alone if he got friendly like that again. She half wondered if he did that to every girl, well, everyone that looked like a girl by the sounds of Celestine. If so, she wondered just how many times he was told off. She gave a soft sigh and tried to push the thought from her mind. She brought her knees up and leaned forward on them slightly as she rested her head to them gently.

Aamori lingered by the table after she set the books down. She laid them out flat on the table and proceeded to try and put them into numerical order. That, sadly, wasn't as easy as it looked because the books weren't exactly numbered. The only reason she'd known that there were five in total was because on the inside cover of the books there was a little scribbling that said one of five. But they all said one of five... So how was she supposed to know in what order they went in? Or maybe it didn't matter. She gave a small sigh as she pulled out one of the chairs and started to sit down. "...I think I'll look over these ones and see if I can get anything from them before we go stressing about that final book." She said as she slid one of the books in front of her and opened it to start reading through it. She too had worried a little about the outcome of being found inside the Elders library. Especially because she knew better then to be inside and even worse, she'd brought Hikari along. Ordinarily had it just been her inside the punishment might have maybe been a slap on the wrist and told to never sneak in again. She wasn't so sure what would happen if someone found out she had brought a member from another clan inside. She just hoped she didn't have to find out. Putting those thoughts aside for now, she continued skimming through the book as fast as she could. She by no means was a speed reader, but she'd been forced to be around enough books in her life that she wasn't exactly slow either. Part way through what she was reading she wound up reaching for another one of the books, pulling to closer to her so that she could cross reference something between them. Some of the stuff in the one book was the same as in the other. Just in different locations. She continued to skim through the two books for a moment longer before she reached for another one and opened it up, again finding nearly the same things written inside. She shook her head lightly as she continued for a few more minutes before looking up from the books. "...Well, that's something I wasn't aware of." She uttered quietly. "The machines that generate the fog are apparently kept inside of towers that are hidden within the fog itself." She said and then glanced back down to the book. "Three of these books are nearly identical, with the exception of the location of the tower and the direction in which the machine points." She continued and then reached for the fourth book to open it up. She read through it for a moment and then set it down while she shut the other three books, moving them out of the way and setting the fourth down in front of her. "This one, on the other hand..." She paused. "...Is different from the other three." She looked back towards Hikari. "I assume then, since the other three books make mention of four towers, that the last book, the one we haven't found... it must be the same as these three here." She said as she set her hand down on top of them briefly.

Nanashi sighed softly and closed his eyes again. "...Yeah..." he said quietly. It was peaceful for now at least. Moments like this didn't seem to last long. He just wanted to enjoy it while it lasted. After a few moments he turned his head away from LaRae and moved one hand from beneath his head to cover his mouth while he coughed again. He sighed again and moved his arm back to where he'd had it before. He was thinking about getting a drink, but he wasn't really sure where to get one. The only water that he knew for sure where it was was in the fountain, and he wasn't about to drink out of there.

Hikari moved over to another chair and sat down across from Aamori, watching as she skimmed through the books. She leaned forward slightly, wishing that she could help her, but she wasn't able to read what was written there. She just leaned forward slightly, resting her arms on her knees as she looked over the table at the books. Once Aamori started to explain to her what was in the books, she listened intently and then nodded. "Yes, that sounds about right..." she said quietly. "...So there are four towers? Does it give an exact location of each tower?" she asked simply, tilting her head slightly. "...My guess is that if we know the location of the other three we can probably make an estimated guess at where the fourth is. For it to make a ring, I would assume that they are all about evenly spaced, so we could at least make a guess at where the last one is based on the location of the other three. So we may not even need to find the last book."

Aamori continued to look through the book she had before her, pausing momentarily when Hikari spoke. She looked up at her and gave a slight nod. Finding the fourth tower would be simple enough considering the location of the other three. "There are exact coordinates listed... but I'm no specialist in maps." She paused. "...It also tells roughly were each one is located in correspondence to the sister islands, like the island we're on." She uttered. "It shouldn't be that hard to find them. Though they will be hidden in the thick fog of course, and we'd have to figure out how to go about getting to the towers unnoticed." She paused. "These books clearly state that no one is granted admittance to the towers except for the mechanics for the machines inside." She gave a small sigh. "Unfortunately, I'm not even sure who the mechanics are... they're probably keeping all of that a secret since the actual machines themselves are supposed to be secret technology." She said and then lowered her eyes back down to the book she was looking at. She continued to skim through a few pages before she came to a stop on one and started to reread it. She was a little surprised to find as she turned the page to continue reading on that she found a piece of paper folded up. The paper was much older then the pages in the book so it obviously wasn't part of the book. She started to carefully open the paper so that she could read it. Her eyes scanned over the paper, stopping once in awhile because she was having a little trouble reading the paper itself. The script was hand written, old, and faded. It was thankfully written in the language everyone could understand. She sighed softly and set the paper down on top of the book for a moment and rubbed her eyes gently. The only thing she'd really gathered from the paper was it was someone's notes. It wasn't very clear, but someone, probably one of the mechanics had scribbled down something about some creature guarding the towers. It wasn't specific on what, just that it cast a dark shadow in the water and swam with amazing speed. It also made note that none of the mechanics wanted to return because they feared whatever that creature was, and they weren't sure what drove it to stick around the towers. She lowered her hands down into her lap and looked back to Hikari. "...I definitely think there is something with the towers." She paused. "It may not have anything to do with the relic, but based off this set of scribbled notes there is something that sticks around the towers that scared some of the mechanics." She stated as she reached for the paper to hand it to Hikari. She then started to shut the book in front of her. Then she began picking them up so that she could go put them back on the shelves. "That note isn't very specific and it's a little hard to read and understand, but there is something that guards the towers and it wasn't something put there by us..." She paused and placed a book on the shelf, then moved onto the next shelf. "...So it probably wouldn't hurt to check it out... considering the guardians we've encountered thus far." She uttered and continued around the shelves until all the books were put away again.

Hikari watched Aamori with mild interest as she read and then blinked when she saw the paper. She waited for Aamori to read it and then listened as she reached out to take it and read for herself. She eyed it for a few moments before she looked back to her again. "Yes, I do believe it has something to do with the towers." She folded the note again and started to hand it back to Aamori when she was finished with it so she could put it back, though she was a little late since she'd already closed the book and put them away. She finally just stood and walked over to Aamori, holding the paper out to her. "Here. If that is the guardian and it travels by water, then I have a feeling that a boat wouldn't be our best option. Besides we would probably sink the thing on a rock in the fog if the tried it." She stepped away from her once she'd gotten the paper and sighed, "I wish there was some record on it... If that is the guardian then your people at one point in time would have had to have put it there... After all these things couldn't have just taken it upon themselves to start guarding these relics... or at least I doubt it." She shook her head, "but I suppose we will find all of that out later. Right now..." she glanced toward the doors again, "I would like to know how we get out of here without being spotted."

Aamori took the paper from Hikari when she handed it over to her and gave a slight smile. She stared at it for a moment before she moved the part of her dress exposing her holster and then tucked the paper beneath one of the straps, then dropped her dress back into place. She had planned to keep the paper just because it was easier to sneak out a piece of paper that may have been over looked than it would have been to take one of the books. She listened quietly to what Hikari had to say and nodded slightly once she had finished, acknowledging that she'd heard everything. She wasn't too sure what to make of this creature that was mentioned in the note. To her knowledge her people hadn't put it there, she'd know about it if they had. Something like that would be important knowledge for an Elder to have. Or at least she thought it would be. So maybe the guardians could choose to protect the relics, or some of them anyway. She wasn't sure and it was easily debatable. She glanced back towards the door when Hikari said she wanted to know how they were going to get out without being spotted. She gave a slightly embarrassed laugh. "...I hadn't really thought about the getting out part." She admitted in all honesty. "...The only way in and out that I know of is through the front door." She said as she started over towards them. She came to a dead stop and probably looked like a deer in headlights when she noticed that the front doors were opening. She wanted to turn to Hikari and tell her to hide, but she had literally just frozen right where she was. Apparently this freezing thing was becoming a habit.

Yoichi had been caught by one of the Elders escorts on his way back to his house. He was asked to retrieve something from the library for the Elder. Of course he couldn't turn that down and he had been given special permission to enter the building. He wasn't expecting to see anyone when he opened the doors, so his expression was nothing but surprise when he saw his sister standing there. He grew even more surprised when his eyes trailed over and he saw Hikari was in here too. He was well aware that this place was off limits to most people, so his expression turned sour rather quickly. He nearly glared over at Aamori, she had no excuse to be in here, let alone she wasn't at home with their parents like she was supposed to be. "I don't even want you to give me some excuse as to why you two are in here!" He said sounding a bit annoyed if anything. He started towards Aamori and took a firm hold of her upper arm and started to lead her towards the doors. He paused when he reached the door and started to open it so he could see her out. "You do know that I'm going to have to report this, even if you are my sister." He told her sternly. "I expect you to go straight to our parents house. I repeat, straight there. Do not deviate between the two places." He said and then started to look back towards Hikari. "As for you." He paused. "I wish I hadn't seen such a pretty girl somewhere that she shouldn't have been. You'll probably get into some trouble because of this and after my report you will probably be searched to make sure you haven't taken anything from inside here." He told her. He didn't really think she'd be that stupid, but it was procedure, she'd get searched. "You should return straight to the training grounds as soon as possible so that the guard doesn't have to hunt you down. You'll cause less trouble that way." He told her as he finally thought to let go of Aamori's arm.

Aamori nearly jumped out of her skin when her brother spoke to her and wound up grabbing rather tightly to her arm. She was at least thankful it was only Yoichi who had come inside. It could probably have turned out worse if one of the Elders escorts had come inside. That, or the Elder herself. She just stood quietly after Yoichi had forced her up to the doors. She just listened to what he was saying to Hikari. She really hadn't wanted to get into trouble, or get her into any trouble. Perhaps it would've been better if she just left Hikari at her parents house and snuck out on her own. She gave a heavy sigh when Yoichi finally let her arm go. She lifted her other arm up to hold where he'd held her so tightly. It was a little sore, but it'd go away pretty fast. She didn't bother saying anything to him. She honestly couldn't think of anything to say that could come close to justifying why she was somewhere she knew she shouldn't be. She gave a heavy sigh and finally started out of the building, stopping once she was outside to wait for Hikari.

Hikari sighed when Aamori said that she didn't know how they were going to get out except by the front door. She shook her head and then laughed, "I should have known." Aamori never thought things through. She shook her head and started to follow her to the door. She was about to dive for a hiding spot when she saw the door opening, but it was pointless and she knew it. She stood up too much and there were too few places to hide. She sighed and just stood there calmly when Yoichi walked in and started on Aamori. She didn't say a word at the moment, at least not until he started to speak to her. She nearly rolled her eyes when he called her pretty again. What did that have to do with anything in this situation? Would it have been better if she was an ugly girl? She shook her head and then sighed. "Well, I can assure you that I have not." She said levelly, "So I have nothing to hide when the time comes." she started toward the door, shaking her head again on the way. "...For our elders to have sent us on this mission none of them seem to want to make things easy at all." she muttered on her way out. She looked back to Yoichi before she went through the first set of doors, "I suppose in your report you could tell her that we were only looking for information to help us find what all of the elders sent us after." she said in her calm and soothing tone, "Nothing more." She turned and continued out of the building without another word. She didn't know how much that would matter, but it may help at any rate. She looked at Aamori and sighed softly, "...Do me a favor and tell Kyran I headed back. I would prefer the reason be left to his imagination." she said simply before she started to walk again, ready to make her way back to the bridge. At least she was easily compliant. She had no reason not to be. She had done something wrong, but nothing really bad, so she didn't see the need to make it worse than it was.

Aamori glanced up at Hikari when she came outside and then averted her eyes rather quickly. She really felt bad for getting her in trouble too. She started to follow after Hikari when she started to walk. "...I'm really sorry for getting you into trouble, Hikari." She said quietly. She was well aware that after Yoichi gave his report she would probably be grounded after a good lecture. Maybe she'd be able to talk them out of anything they'd want to do to Hikari. She wasn't too sure what all they'd want to do, but she had heard her brother say they'd want to search her. Well... they'd be wasting their time searching the wrong person. She sighed and glanced back at Hikari briefly. "...I think you'll need to get someone else to do your favor." She said as she looked away. "I'm already in trouble, so I don't plan on listening to my brother." She paused. "I think I'm going to the beach. I haven't gotten to go there in awhile." She said quietly. It really wasn't going to hurt her that much to be defiant a little longer. After all being found in that library was probably the worst thing she could do without actually doing something illegal. She passed right by her parents house without even giving it a second glance. She really had no intention of going back there. She for one wasn't listening to Yoichi for two, she was a little angry with her parents since they hadn't known she wasn't even in Kairava these past couple weeks. She continued straight on without missing a step until she reached the bridge. Once she was at the top of it she paused long enough to look over the side again. At least the beaches weren't really that far between the training grounds and her parents house. When Yoichi started back towards the main island, he'd surely see her and then she'd be in for another stern talking to when he forced her to return to the main building. She knew all too well how these things worked so she knew what to expect. Well... except for being found in that library. She'd never done anything quite like that before so she wasn't sure what to expect from that.

Hikari looked over to Aamori again when she apologized to her and smiled slightly. "You didn't." she said calmly, "I knew that I was doing something I shouldn't be, I could have waited outside." she pointed out. She sighed softly when she said that she wasn't going back. "...Oh..." she murmured as they headed back to the bridge. "...Well I suppose you cannot get in too much more trouble." She did still want to go to the beach with Aamori, but she knew that she would be better off doing as she was told...though he also told her as soon as possible...he didn't tell her to go straight there. "...Where will your brother have to go to give his report?" she asked simply as she paused on the bridge and crossed her arms over the side railings while she looked out over the beaches again. Depending on which way he was going, she could just follow him back to the training grounds on his way before he gave the report and still get to the beach. She felt sorry for Aamori when all of this got started. She could already guess how much trouble she was going to be in when it was all said and done, though she didn't know what kind of punishment they could give her. They already had her confined to the training grounds more or less, the only thing more they could do was lock her door and bar her windows to keep her from doing it again.

Aamori glanced over to Hikari for a moment. "Yoichi will have to pass this bridge and head to another one of the sister islands." She paused. "Almost directly behind the training grounds is a sister island that is reserved strictly for the Elders, escorts, advisers, guards... the whole nine yards." She gave a small sigh. "...I think he'll have to report to one of the guards or advisers first and then depending, he may get to talk to the Elder herself." She stood there for a moment longer before she started down the other side of the bridge. She turned slightly and headed for the beach, wasting very little time getting over to the water. It really didn't take long because the beaches ran practically right under the bridge. She easily enough pushed aside the fact that she was in trouble just so she could see the beach. She knew that she probably wouldn't get this close to the water like this again any time soon if she got into as much trouble as she thought she did. She gave a soft sigh and knelt down a little, putting her hand into the water as the waves washed up on the sand.

Hikari nodded slightly and then half smiled. "Well then, I suppose I will head back when he does." she said simply as she started to follow Aamori down to the beach. After all she wouldn't be causing trouble if no one was looking for her, now would she? She walked along the sand carefully and then stopped and sighed softly when she came up to the area just before the sand became wet. She didn't really want to get it stuck all over her. She sighed and finally walked up behind Aamori and placed her hands on her shoulders as she leaned over to look down at her. She wasn't angry with Aamori this time around at least. This time she did know what she was getting herself into so she couldn't be.

Aamori glanced up at Hikari when she felt her hands on her shoulders. She smiled a little and turned her eyes back to the water as another wave washed up on the sand and touched her feet before sinking back. She rested her hands on her knees lightly as she continued to crouch there watching the waves. "...I can't take you to my favorite spot, but this isn't a bad spot either." She said lightly as she glanced back to Hikari for a moment. She started to turn her eyes back down to the water but paused half way and looked back to Hikari with a broader smile on her face. "I have a question, and it might sound silly..." She paused. "...Have you ever experienced walking on water, Hikari?" She asked as she started to stand up straight again.

Hikari smiled slightly and shook her head, "...Close enough." she said with a soft laugh. She looked back out over the water and then sighed softly. It really was a lovely sight. Her eyes went back down to Aamori when she asked if she had ever walked on water and she blinked. "...No...I...can't say that I have." she said with a soft laugh. "I believe I would sink first." She stepped back and removed her hands from her shoulders when she started to get up and then smiled slightly at her. She supposed she asked that question for a reason. "I gather that you have?" she asked with a soft laugh. It wouldn't surprise her if that was among her abilities.

Aamori stretched a little afte she'd stood up and then looked back to Hikari with a smile still on her face. "Of course I have." She answered. "It's not really all that hard, but then again, not too many people in my clan can do it... let alone properly." She said with a small chuckle. She'd seen her brother attempt it a number of times, only to fail and fall into the water a few seconds after he got standing. She stood there for a moment before she took a couple steps forward, until she was standing in the water where the waves weren't receding away from her. She lifted her hand out in front of her a little and started to utter something quietly in her native tongue. Within seconds of the last word falling from her lips a blue aura started to illuminate the water around her feet. After a moment it dimmed and you could no longer see it unless you were really looking. She lifted a foot from the water and stepped up like she was climbing stairs and wound up standing directly on top of the water. She turned and looked back at Hikari and smiled a bit, quite happy to show someone what she could do even if it was mostly just for fun. She started to walk over towards her, trying not to get lost on a wave that would drop her back into the sand. "Do you wanna give it a try?" She asked. "I won't let you sink." She said with a soft laugh.

Hikari laughed softly when Aamori said that she could. She watched her closely as she moved into the water and then smiled when she stepped up onto it like it was just another level of the ground. She looked at her feet for a moment and moved a little closer to the edge of the water before stopping again. She blinked and looked back to Aamori in surprise when she asked if she wanted to try. "Really? You can hold someone else up?" she asked curiously. She smiled again and backed up, starting to remove her boots. She just tossed them a little further up on the beach and then came closer to the water until it was rolling over her bare feet. She had only removed her boots just in case she did end up in the water. She didn't want to wait for those to dry out. "...What do I do?" she asked as she looked down at the water again.

Aamori paused just shy of where the waves hit the sand and extended her hand out to Hikari. "I'm not sure the number of other people I can keep on top of the water but I do know for sure I can handle at least one more." She told her. "And you don't have to do very much." She paused. "Just take my hand, you'll probably feel a tingly sensation run through your hand and down to your feet. Don't be alarmed by it." She explained. "That's just my energy going to coat your feet so you can step up onto the water like I did." She paused. "You won't sink so long as your holding my hand, but you can move around if you like. Just don't stray too far or else my concentration may break, causing you to sink." She said quietly. She could keep someone else on the water so long as they didn't move too far away from her. Usually a three foot radius was as far as she could handle at her level of training. Also, her concentration could be broken pretty easily which again would cause anyone not holding her hand to sink into the water.

Hikari looked at Aamori's hand for a moment before she reached out to her and too her hand. She shivered slightly when she felt the tingle that Aamori was warning her about and then laughed softly. She continued to stand there for a few moments until she finally looked down at the water and then raised her foot to step onto it. She was careful as if she was expecting her foot to just sink into the water again, but when it didn't she smiled and stepped the rest of the way up, bringing her other foot out of the water. She laughed again and kept a firm hold on Aamori's hand while she stepped around a little, obviously testing it out before she made any attempt to let go of Aamori. She laughed again and shook her head, "Wow this is so weird..." she said with another soft laugh before she slowly started to loosen her grip on Aamori's hand so that she could move around a little more freely. She shifted to the side again and then laughed softly as she walked around behind Aamori to come up to her other side. She couldn't stop looking at her feet like she thought if she did that something was going to happen.

Aamori watched Hikari after she took her hand and started to step up onto the water. She smiled a bit and continued to keep her eyes on Hikari while she moved around a little after she'd loosened her grip on her hand. She'd meant to say something to her in response to her saying that this was weird but she was trying her hardest to keep her concentration. The last thing she wanted was to break her focus and accidentally drop Hikari into the water. Rather then say anything she merely nodded her head a little. She really did enjoy doing stuff like this, which was probably what lead to her learning how to do ballet on water. That by far was one of her most favorite things to do. Had she not been needing to keep her focus she might have danced a little, mostly to try and prove that she wasn't quite as clumsy on water as she was on land. When on land she definitely was like a fish out of water. She could walk better on water, whereas the others could walk better on land. She could swim better, whereas the others flew better than her. Her strengths were just a little backwards when compared to the others.

Hikari was a little unsteady on the water wince the surface always felt like it was moving, which with the wave it more or less was. She finally lifted her eyes slightly and started to move again before she latched onto Aamori again when she thought that she was going to fall. At least at this point if she fell she'd only be about knee deep, but she was pretty sure that with the ground almost certainly sloping down that she'd end up on her butt should she fall. she slowly let go of Aamori again and laughed softly, "This is kind of hard." she said as she took another awkward step. It might have been easier if the water was more calm...like if it was a lake or something, but the waves were throwing her off balance a bit.

Aamori finally gave a small chuckle when Hikari grabbed onto her. She was glad that Hikari did that, it was going to give her a spare moment to relax and open her mouth. "It gets easier and a little less weird." She said with a smile. Though that faded a bit when Hikari started to let go and she tried to concentrate again. Walking on water like this was one of the first things that she learned how to do when she was younger. It was also the most fun that she could have by herself since not too many people could actually do this. She only wished that Hisako hadn't known how to do it. Several times her fun was cut short because Hisako would walk out onto the water to get her. She gave a soft sigh and shifted slightly herself. She was pretty used to just standing still on the water, doing so let the wave lift you up momentarily as it passed under you. Though if you weren't paying close attention a wave could get the upper hand and move you completely.

Yoichi was already on his way back to give his report. He'd found what the Elders escort had asked him to and returned it to him before going home to get Aamori. He was a little more aggravated when he found that she hadn't returned to their parents house like he told her to. She didn't listen too much to begin with so he wasn't sure what he expected of her this time. Since he had to go find her, he snagged Kyran to have him return to the training grounds. He wasn't going to just leave the guy there to be bombarded with more questions from his mother. It didn't take very long for the two of them to come upon the bridge. He stopped dead in his tracks when he noticed his sister and Hikari down at the beach on the water. He heaved a heavy sigh. At least she hadn't gone too far, but she did know better. He glanced over to Kyran momentarily when he heard him ask if they were 'really' walking on the water. He nodded his head and then looked back down at Aamori. "Any particular reason why you didn't do what I told you to do, Aamori?" He asked sounding a bit annoyed once again as he started to head down the bridge the rest of the way.

Aamori's concentration was pretty easy to break and hearing the tone of voice of her brother was more than enough to break any and all concentration she had. But she had the wherefore to reach out and grab a hold of Hikari before the connection of energy was severed, just to keep her from falling into the water. She gave a heavy sigh and turned slightly to look over at her brother as he started down the bridge and towards them. "...I was enjoying the beach with my friend a little before I won't be allowed to anymore." She uttered. "You of all people should know that at the very least, I'll be restricted to the training grounds indefinitely." She said as she turned her eyes back to Hikari. "...Guess this is where the fun stops." She said quietly.

Hikari smiled slightly at Aamori and moved a little closer to her again. "Well, I should hope if you're used to doing it." she said with a soft laugh. She startled when she heard Yoichi's voice and turned around quickly, then flailed slgihtly, thinking she was about to fall before Aamori grabbed onto her. She sighed softly and looked back to her and then over to Yoichi as he came closer to them. Her eyes wandered back to Aamori again when she said that the fun was over. She sighed again. Well that was short lived. "Looks like it..." She looked back to Yoichi again and then closed her fingers around Aamori's hand and started back toward the sand. She wanted to get off of the water before Aamroi wasn't able to keep them up anymore. She did hope that they could talk Yoichi out of this, though she wasn't worried about herself if they didn't. If Aamori was confined to the training grounds, how were they going to get to the relic to retrieve it? They needed her. Besides she was going to be the one in the most trouble for this.
