Instead of rejoicing that Sarah seemed to forgive her somewhat, Asima felt a pang. Malum. She wished she’d had more time with him, before being asked to do this. Or wished that she could at least ask him why, when he’d known they would have to fight. Sniffling, the princess fell asleep quickly. She was exhausted, no lie. |
That night the princess' dreams were filled with such horrible things. Memories past by but it was from an outside perspective. She could watch herself trying to defend her father, watching him die with the light fading from the old pharaoh's eyes, seeing how much he had loved his children before Malum's deadly arrows took hold. Such a pain in one's heart to feel this man slipping away... and there wasn't even that false King there to blame.

Asima awoke with a jerk in the morning, more convinced than ever the Gods were punishing her. She dressed quickly, brushing her own hair. Sarah may be kinder, however, Asima didn’t expect the female to actually act as her servant away from prying eyes. Unsure of where she was permitted to go in the strange palace, and not wanting to witness the aftermath of Hemsjik’s party, the princess remained in her room, waiting for Sarah before she went to eat, |
Sarah certainly took her sweet time in the morning before eventually coming into Asima's room. "So. another day, where shall we begin?" the Hebrew yawned and stretched before sitting on Asima's bed, "Man this thing is way more comfortable than mine."
|
”You can sleep on it tonight, if you wish.” Asima wasn’t doing much sleeping anyway. “Let’s get some breakfast and find out where Hemsjik is…I’ll try to wheedle my way into his schedule, and I’d like it if you were to speak to the servants. Try to find out if they know of anything illegal as well, will you? I’d appreciate it.” |
"Sounds like a plan. But what are you going to do about his advances?" Sarah looked over curiously, "if you don't mean to marry him, you're kind of sending mixed signals. Guys don't like that."
|
”Um…” Asima floundered. “First off don’t think that’s his intent. Secondly…I…dunno…How can I remain on good terms with him, without these mixed signals?” (YOu're a boy!!!) |
"Heck if I know, most people don't want a long term relationship with me, so how would I know?" Sarah shrugged, laying back on the bed.
(I'ma see if I can make Malum XD) |
(Squeals, then cries….>.>) Asima frowned. Maybe she’d just have to ask Hemsjik out front. “Alright, C’mon. Let’s go get some food…” |
Sarah moaned a little, regretfully getting out of the super comfy bed to go fetch some breakfast.
|
Asima followed along, pausing to question a few servants on the prince’s whereabouts. Eventually, her and Sarah were seated, munching away. |
(blaahhh, prince is boring x.x I wanna skip to just having the dove XD but that would be a terrible time jump, wouldn't it?)
|
(ish up to you.) |
(hmm... Asima's the one who has to get the dove x.x how's she gonna do it?)
|
(…let me think on that…) |
(m'kay, you can just go ahead and do whatever you decide. I'ma say it works ^_^ take over whomever you need)
|
(The only thing I can think of to make a man like the prince give in is…uh…feminine wiles…>.> I dun wanna make Asima a whore though… ) |
(XD do as ya like. Be sneaky, be tempting, or send somebody else to do it. Asima's already been part of a harem after all XD. Of course, you could just send sarah to do it, she probably would be okay with that actually.)
|
(I doubt the prince would give it to Sarah, though, and if she was just keeping him busy, Asima would still need a second person to open the door…>.> Yeah, I guess Asima is gonna be a whore…If that is the case, though, I prefer to only time skip to later in the day, perhaps Hemsjik giving her a tour of the city or something? Cause, I dun wanna just have her throw herself at him… |
(blaaahhh, I don't wanna play him anymore, he's boring XD and does not entice my brain like Malum and Solum do v.v))
|
(Alright…) They were finally on their way back. Turned out, Sarah had been right, though Asima wasn’t sure if Hemsjik had wanted her or her body. She felt soiled, like she was no longer Malum’s. But, then, had she ever truly been? The princess rode on the gift the prince had given her, with his other gift, the black dove, tucked into the saddlebag. Her hood was up, since she seemed so prone to tears the last few days. But, she’d done what Malum wished. She’d killed for him, given herself up for him. If it came down to fighting him, Asima was fairly sure she’d be dying for him. She didn’t have much to look forward to, and didn’t hold a high opinion of herself at the moment. Thank Ra Sarah hadn’t asked questions at least, though the female probably knew. Finally, the palace was in sight, and Asima quickly handed over her horse, taking the dove wrapped in silks out carefully, cradling the item. She located her brother first, to inform him she was home. “Nemiah, I’m back…” Asima stated obviously. “It was a nice trip…have you had any word from Solum?” |
(Thank you!!!! And I'm sorry v.v stupid ideas do not always follow through with my stupid whims x.x))
Nemiah greeted Asima with a large welcoming hug, "Welcome home sister. Ah, Solum, I'm afraid I haven't seen or heard anything from him. Although according to Lakar he has been around somewhere." |
(It’s fine! ^u^) Asima nodded wearily, and returned her brother’s hug halfheartedly. “I’ll go and see him…I have something for him anyway…I’ll catch up with you in a bit.” The princess waved as she stood back, not even bothering to attempt a smile. She made her way to the temple and located Lakar. “Hullo, Lakar…I’ve got it…” She held out the wrapped black dove as if the beautiful item was diseased. |
Nemiah didn't even have time to ask before his sister walked off, he could only watch her go with concern.
Lakar met Asima with a smile, "Well that's-" he paused, immediately noticing her lack of excitement, "What's wrong?" he questioned. |
”Nothing.” Asima stated, avoiding his eyes. She unwrapped the bird, and setting it down. “Have you found anything else out about them?” |
