"I'd rather not leave her anywhere unprotected. Unless you think we should just kill her now, I have objections to it." Malum shrugged.
Asima shrugged, eyeing the female evenly. "I don't want her killed, but I've not ties with her. Plus...she admitted she was trying to kill me....So do what you want." The princess shrugged, and started down the tunnels. "Imma head out, okay? I'll see you guys in a bit..."
Malum nodded, "Alright." he eyed Souban with a glare, "I'll take care of it."
Souban spat towards Malum as Asima vanished. Once outside, the princess lowered Set gently. She didn't know how long that pill would keep him knocked out... Gently, Asima leaned forward and patted his cheek. "Hemset? Wake up, sleepy..."
((Outside the room or outside the cliff tunnels?))
Hemset groaned, his head rolling from one side to the other. |
(Outside the tunnels. Sorry....)
Asima wasn't sure if Set would hurt himself doing that, so she cradled his head in her lap. "Set?" She called softly again, glancing back towards the opening for the twins. |
Set slowly began to stir, his mind was reeling and he was rather dizzy from the effects of the sleeping pill, "can't stop..." he mumbled, curling up, "so much more... to do..."
"There's nothing for you to do now, Set..." Asima stated softly. She began stroking his hair gently, something her nursemaid had done long ago and that the princess had found comforting. "Just rest, alright?"
The priest moaned and drifted back into a deeper sleep.
Malum, having been left alone with Souban long enough, decided to take a few liberties with it. He might have roughed her up a little before heading out to catch up with Asima. |
(Ciara? XD)
Asima sighed, letting Set sleep. She'd explain herself later. it would probably be best if Set continued sleeping, however. She fiddled around a bit, checking her waterskin for holes, though it didn't hold water, Asima having filled with with more of the potion to drain magic. She then poked at her cut for a while. This was the part of the adventures she didn't like, the waiting. The princess kicked at a pebble with a sigh. |
((XD wow. Wrong name completely. you know who I'm talking about XD))
Malum left the tunnels with his hostages in tow, "How's he doing?" the thief asked, "are you ready to go?" |
"Still sleeping." Asima answered sadly. She nodded next, lifting Set up. She glanced at the two with Malum, noting the bruising on Souban's face. The necromancer was not pleased, though she'd given up visably fighting. He magic, however, constantly pulled at her bonds. "Is Solum coming?" The princess questioned, starting downwards as she spoke.
"He'll be along. He's a bit grumpy right now" Malum shrugged.
"Grumpy?" Asima glanced over quizically. "Why?"
Malum waved it aside, "It's alright. We'd better get going."
He started off towards the city and the palace, his pair of captives in tow. |
"Asima followed. "Uh-uh..." She stated firmly. "Why is he mad? Is it cause of me?"
"No, it's not you at all" Malum shook his head, "He's just been moody with me since I got back."
Asima shifted uncomfortably. That was true. It was because Malum was so different since he lost his memories. Not as 'safe', as Solum had put it. "You'll go back to normal someday...doesn't he think that?" She attempted to comfort him.
Malum shrugged, "I guess he doesn't want to wait. Anyway, he'll get over it soon enough. We should probably stay focused" he glanced back at Souban, wrapping the chains a little tighter, "don't want to start getting sloppy in current company."
"What can they do?" Asima muttered, though she obeyed and fell silent, pausing to check on Set. "How long will he be out?" She questioned Souban. The ginger haired one simply glared at the other female. The chains tightened around her and her glare deepened. If she could only get one hand free, she could cast her camouflage spell and slip away. Set and Melhet would either have to wait, or she would need to replace them. She began inching her hand back and forth quietly.
"Judging by his state, I'd have to guess a few hours at least" Malum told her, "He'll wake up once we've gotten him home."
"Okay..." Asima glanced at her old friend doubtfully, before following Malum quietly. (Should we skip?)
((Yeah XD I was just waiting for the conversation to die))
Eventually they reached the city and came up to the palace. Malum brought his hood up to hide his face-appearances still mattered after all. Malum waited with Souban and Melhet as Asima brought Set to his bed. |
Asima settled Set into his bed, though she left him chained. He would be so angry when he got up, and she didn't want him hurting anyone here...
She turned to Malum, then. "Guess I should go talk to my brother...should we bring those two?" |
Malum nodded, "It's his decision what should happen to them."
