The sewer sludge was leaking it's way all over the city, flooding into some of the nicer, "safer" parts of town. And then, once the sludge flooded out of Melvin's radius, it reformed, into many, smaller, even worse smelling goos. Some were trying to find each other, to be whole and big and mighty again, but the biggest so far was the size of the previously mentioned puppy. For now, at least.
Randy however was wondering if she should try to explain to Melvin about the goo monster. She had taken a pretty decent beating, one sever enough to justify her really not wanting to try to explain, but also not wanting to stand up to make an escape. Besides, the goo would re-assemble it's self once he was gone, she'd have to be ready for that. She hauled herself to her feet with a fair amount of difficulty, and said "Because the sludge was initially a goo monster," quite matter of fact-ly "but turned into the sludge suddenly. You're voids doing." She tried to wring the sludge out of her hair, and glanced at him, smiling a touch wryly. "You must think I'm a lunatic. Talking about goo monsters. But, by this point, I don't care that much if you think I'm nuts or not. No one's really gonna believe you in the end, so, you might as well know, and not believe, everything." She put a hand on a lamp post, putting her weight on that as she doubled over, coughing up more sludge. She wasn't sure which would have been worse, it coming out, or it staying in and then Melvin walks away. Neither option was particularly fun. She then looked up as a certain harpy made her way out of the sky without a whole lot of control. Well, shit. "Wilmer! Wilmer!" yelled out a scrawny science nerd with a head cold as he wandered through the park. He was looking for hit pet goo. He had misplaced it. Or it had moved from where he put it last. He looked in the terrarium it lived in, usually quite happy with it's little gold-fish type castle, and make-shift lawn chair, and it was gone. No note, no warning, little Wilmer was just, gone. And unconnected, so was his valu-pac of miracle grow. He figured little Wilmer couldn't have taken the grow with him, he was, well, little, and it was not. Still, he was worried about the poor little guy, and searched the dark night for it until he came across two girls. Might as well ask. "Uhm, excuse me, ladies. Have either of you seen a living goo running around here lately? It's about this big, very friendly, sort of greenish grey and translucent, goes by the name of Wilmer..." he held his hands to indicate a little bigger then a softball. "I lost the little guy and can't seem to find it anywhere." He smiled sort of nervously, not even thinking about how these girls may be weirded out. |
"I'm always up for some action!" Rainbow cheered in a nasally voice. One hand was still clamped over her nose as the harpy took off flying. "WAAAAAAAAAIT!" she called uselessly as she took off at top speed after the flying girl. Even sprinting at her top speed, she couldn't keep up, and she had to stop and pant, leaning against an alleyway. She was actually quite proud of herself for making it into the city.
"Wilmer! Wilmer!" called a voice ahead of her. It was distinctly male, and distinctly unfamiliar. The owner of the voice, a nerdy-looking individual with thick glasses and wearing a lab-coat, approached two girls and talked to them, his voice too low for her to hear completely until he mentioned the word 'goo'. She tilted her head to the side, her hair falling across her face slightly as she did so, and trotted up to him as best she could through the sludge coating the ground, while the girls gave him weird looks and walked away, mumbling to each other. "A blob, you say?" she asked him, raising a dyed red eyebrow. Yes, she'd even gone to such great extremes as that. "Well, I haven't seen one yet, but I'm sure we could find one eventually," she smiled as she waded through some of the sewage sludge to get closer to him. Wow, was she glad she was wearing her combat boots instead of her nice shoes, or her flats, especially. Ewwww. "Does the blob have a name?" she asked in an attempt to make conversation. She figured that this guy knew what he was talking about, and a blob didn't actually seem all that unrealistic in this place. Suddenly, the sludge around her feet started to wiggle in a weird way, separating from the rest. It jiggled in weird pile-like forms, then solidified a little more into small, smelly, grey-green blobs. "...Is that what you were looking for?" she asked meekly, pointing to one of the closer ones as it rolled around and connected with some of the others, forming into a larger one about the size of a beach ball or a large puppy. |
Cheshire had faded on top one of the taller buildings between all the commotion. He stood looking down as the blob popped when the void kid came by. The sewage wave had spread to most of the lower city. "I just love when trouble comes up." He looked around, the lights of houses and apartments going on and people in confusion, how could anyone not have noticed all of this? "I didn't even have to lay a finger, I guess me joining the sect isn't an option now, I'll have to take it down by other means, how obnoxious." Cheshire walked to the center of the building and sat against the ventilation shaft, trying to formulate another plan.
|
There was a lot of trouble stewing for the tiny sect in the near future, and the cat demon would definitely have a few openings, but, at that moment, there was goo to deal with. Henry glanced at Rainbow and smiled a little nervously, "Ah, yes, it's name is Wilmer..." Henry looked down at the little goo forming and his whole face lit up like a nerd being told he could have a free computer. "Wilmer! There you are! I thought you melted like your brother!" he bent down to pick up the goo, but froze when he saw another one of about the same size form, and then melt into the other one. Confusion crossed his face and he murmured, "Well, that can't be good..." as more and more smaller goos formed and merged.
His eyes nearly popped out of his head, "Wilmer, since when can you do that?!" he squeaked as the goo grew to almost the same height as him at surprising speed. It wobbled there before Rainbow and Henry for a moment, growing taller, and taller, before flopping forward in an attempt to swallow the two of them. Henry screeched like a little girl as this happened, narrowly being missed. "Wilmer!" he scolded breathlessly, "now that's just impolite!" Wilmer didn't seem to care as it reared up, growing more and more to do it again. "It's gone mad!" said the scientist in breathless horror, watching his creation rear up, and up, growing and growing. It would have been wise for him to turn tail and run then and there, but, Henry wasn't thinking of such things. He was wondering how his creation managed to do this sort of thing. It didn't match up with it's genetic make up what so ever... |
Mary sized Randy up as Melvin scratched his head trying to rationalize the situation. Mary knew he would revert to Buffy-mode if left to his own devices. She gave him something constructive to do that would take him away from this mess. "Oh Mel-sweety, I bet some of that sludge is laced with mind-altering government drugs. You should go to where its puddled and take a sample for analysis!" Melvin looked relieved as she gave him something to do. He trotted away muttering something about chlorine levels and the chance of high concentrate LSD.
As Melvin left her sight followed. Heaving an exhasperated sigh she reached into her cat-eared hoodie and pulled out a neon pink folded walking stick that was blinged out in dark pink rhinestones. She tap-tapped her way over to where she remembered Randy was sitting. Mary reached out with tenative fingers till she touched Randy's hair. "Alright missy, This is gonna feel right weird but we gotta get'cha up on yer hooves." She had slipped into a southern drawl just for kicks. Mary extended her awareness down and out seeking out the cuts and bruises along Randy's body. She selected several that would be concealed by her clothes. With a grunt she pulled those injuries from Randy to herself. They burst and errupted on her body where they had previously resided on Randy's. Another pull and she halved Randy's exhaustion, taking the excess into herself. "Alright, brief me on the situation as we head to the scene Captain!" She took Randy's elbow in her hand. "Now! Guide me to the scene chip-chop-chip!"[/i] |

What was that strange rush? A light breeze had begun to extend from a certain area only meters away from Mary and Randy. Then, without warning, lightning struck out from a strange void, the air, the world warping around a strange ball in the air before it light up and seemed to exploded with light, revealing to figures, one large and one small.
As the light show faded, the strange man looking around, he had a small girls arm firmly grasped in his hand and she looked like she was in utter fear of the man. He didn’t look too pleased suddenly exclaiming, “Where in the hell... Where did you just take us, you stupid little bitch?!” He let go of her arm, backhanding her cheek and sending her crashing to the floor as he sneered at the two nearby women. Julianna whimpred on the ground, what a nightmare, how could so many things have gone wrong so fast? What had happened? Why did those people... Why did this man hurt her? So many unanswered questions as she looked over pleadingly at the two nearby women. Please… Save me…! |
Randy eyed Mary suspiciously, and an eyebrow went up at the walking stick. That was some serious bling. Which, seemed strange, since generally you want people to know that a walking stick is a walking stick, but, it was probably to keep Melvin off kilter. She didn't question it, and she actually didn't shove the blind girl off of her when she started to heal her, which was her first instinct. She let out a sort of happy sigh when she was done. She was still pretty battered, but, she could stand upright all on her own (for short periods of time). "Thank you." She said after a moment,
"I'm not quite sure what you mean by scene," said Randy honestly, "but, some sort of goo monster was rampaging through here from the woods, it kicked my ass, is the long and short of it. Fire just made it angry..." Randy trailed off and winced, looking away from the light as it flashed before her, and then squinted back to the scene before her. Usually, there'd be a moment of questioning just how these two got before her, but, not even Randy could put asking question first to a little girl giving her that pathetic a puppy dog look. She wasn't willing or ready to go throwing fire balls around, but, her gun, if it wasn't full of goo? She pulled it out and pointed it at the guy. "You may want to leave right about now, buddy," was all she said. Her hand didn't even tremble despite the bite holes in it from Rowen from earlier, and just remained steadily trained on the mans head. |
The man she aimed her gun at drew his own quickly, aiming it back at the one who was threatening her, the model was uncommon, and there were strange marking son it. It was an anti-freak gun for use against paranormal foes, quite effective against humans too though, though the man was pretty confident some woman couldnnt recognise it,
"Back off, bitch." He replied, stepping back and lifting the helpless looking girl up, an arm around her neck, with just enough pressure to make her try and pull his arm away rather than distract herself trying to fight him off, though she mostly wanted to nurse the gash on her cheek that the mans ring had produced, "I dont have time to play games with you and I certainly dont wana stick around this dump... The stench is probably more fitting of you." |
Rowen jumped into a nearby tree to escape the strange goo that had coated the ground. He cringed at the sight and smell of it and placed a hand over his nose and mouth,
"God, what in the hell...possessed sewer sludge? I leave for a few hours and this is what I come back to," He mumbled in annoyance. He let out a quiet groan, he didn't want to go trouncing through this mess without his boots (that he had so conveniently lent to Skyler). His eyes followed the strange goo to the reforming giant blob next to Rainbow and some stranger. Rowen's gaze narrowed in on the man's face to get a better look at him but he was suddenly blinded by a bright light. He looked around quickly to find it's source once it cleared only to find a very tired Randy with a gun aimed at her head and a rather traumatized looking girl on the ground. He felt his eye suddenly throb as blood lust nearly flooded his mind. The demon quickly swung down from his branch and darted toward the small group, "Put the gun down you ugly bastard!" Rowen snarled, skidding to a stop nearly six feet off from where the man stood. His hand cracked steadily and his claws extended. Apparently, he was pissed off. {this seemed cliche}} |
A gun is a gun when you're human, and Randy wasn't looking too closely. There was a little girl, and she was in trouble. That's what was in front of her right then and there. Alright, new tactic. Randy eyed the man, the little girl, and the hold he had. How could she do this? Shooting wouldn't work unless she shot the kid first, she had a blind woman leaning on her, and standing wasn't such an easy feat for her, either... And then Rowen ran into the situation. She put her hand with the gun in it on his shoulder, a sign for him to settle down.
But damn it, she had to do something. She couldn't use fire, it was a direct thing. He'd see it coming... But, her stone tree... Well, she was going to be on her ass. Again. She clenched her hand that wasn't holding the gun, trying to summon a small tree. Less energy that way. The ground shook a little and caught the man by the seat of his pants, giving him the worlds worst wedgie, and causing him to drop the girl. Which was the goal. The gun, well, she wasn't sure what happened to the gun. The kid was alright. Randy swayed, but managed to keep her feet by some small mercy of the gods. "Alright Rowen," she said her head still reeling, "NOW you can take care of the bastard." ((YES! New page is mine skanks!)) |
Rowen smirked almost viciously before he lunged at the man and pinned him to the ground, his teeth sinking through the fabric and into the flesh of the man's shoulder. His clawed hands scrambled to pin the man's wrists to make sure a bullet wouldn't be getting fired into his gut anytime soon. He growled as blood flowed into his mouth. He clawed at the man's arms until he found the wrists and gripped them tightly. His talons dug into them and his mouth pulled away. He smirked down at the stranger as blood dripped down his lips and chins in a thin, smeared flow.
"So, mind telling me where you're from, who you work for, and why you're scarring children and waving guns around?" {{rawr short and stupid..too tired to write D:} |
The man barely had time to realize what was going on, Rowens approach, the tree, being taken down and bitten, in all the confusion his gun was dropped and in the end all that left was the pain as the bloodsucker attacked him, holding him down.
When the question was asked, the suited man chuckled, looking over to his left. Either it was the fear and loss of blood, or the fact that Julianna was knelt nearby with the anti-freak gun in her hands, his face went ghastly pale before a final shot sounded, he had no time to scream or answer. Julianna sat there, frozen, the gun still clenched tightly in her small hands and shaking violently with the rest of her body, with a clearer look one could see the girl was still utterly terrified. The blood splattered over her form however ws dry, it certainly wasnt this mans blood. Once Julianna finally snapped out of it a little she aimed the gun at rowen, she'd never seen anything like him, in fact she'd never experienced violence except for what she saw in cartoons and movies. Never had things become as graphic as this for her though. There was still that faint whimper though as she shook, she probably couldnt manage another shot, her arms were getting weak by the second and the ever slow lowering of the gun connoted this. She was verging on bursting into tears, probably wouldnt be long. |
Rowen's eyes widened as the man fell limp beneath him as the shot was fired. He cautiously looked up to see the end of a gun barrel pointed in his direction. He carefully crawled off the man while wiping the blood from his face.
"Okay, kid, just put the gun down, alright? I won't hurt you," he said this in a quiet, reassuring voice as he sat down in a calm position despite the fact he was worried about a bullet going through his skull. His white, feathered wings stretched slightly and he smiled, "I'm harmless, wouldn't hurt a fly. Well, I squash one occasionally like this guy for being a meanie but he had it coming, right? He hurt you, didn't he? So he deserved to be punished." Rowen tried to explain this in a way that a child could understand. It was needless to say he was never good with children. "So, just put down the gun, because honestly you're beginning to scare me a little." |
Mary listened intently to the sounds going on around her. A loud crack accompanied by the acrid scent of ozone alerted her to a nearby lightning strike. It smelled electrical, it wasnt magic then perhaps technical. Mary heard Randy's breath catch momentarily before an unfamiliar hostel voice sounded out. She must not know him either
The rush of fabrics against metal. Hee! She's armed and so is she, this shall be an interesting match up indeed! Mary loved violence. She loved fighting, destruction, chaos and sometimes just blowin' stuff up. A shiver of excitement ran through her body at the thought of blood on this lovely night. Tip-tip-top. "Someone's coming." She said, though she doubted anyone heard her. The ground rumbled a bit as she heard something shoot up from the ground. The scents on the air told her that it was magical, randy swaying beside her told Mary it was powerful. "Sugoi! This is great! I should definately come out more often!" She snickered as the wet sound of blood danced up to her ears. The bang of a gun ended it all. Mary tap-taped with her cane over to the victor. When she touched the girl she "saw" the wound on her cheek and a few mild cuts from her fall. "Boop!" She said as she beeped the little girl's nose. She pulled the cut from her cheek onto her own. Blood trickled down her cheek when she grinned like a chesire cat. "Whoops! Took to much Im gonna pass out now." She fell backwards onto the grasp into sleep's gentle embrace. Her wounds faded but it would be several hours till she woke. |
The little girl had just fired off a round into the guys head. It's hard to know if you should be impressed or horrified at that sort of thing... Randy watched Mary go over to the little girl still in shock but muttered "Weirdo," as the other woman magical nose beeped the kid toppled backwards. In the back of her head she could hear Melvin returning and ranting and raving about how they had brain washed her and drugged her and were going to use her as an alien probe or some sort of prop for their next play. At first her brain tried to conjure better ways to explain things to him, to calm him down, but, decided that it'd probably be easier to just agree with what ever nonsense he threw out there.
But the kid still had the gun. That certainly needed to be dealt with. Randy walked over to the girl, careful not to make any sudden movements, and gently took the gun from the girl before hurling it into the bushes, more as a sign of good faith then anything else. "Don't worry about Rowen, he's one of the good guys. Don't let the horns fool you," what else can you say to a terrified little girl who just killed a man and was nearly kidnapped and was now looking at a hungry demon? Even Randy never had to deal with that sort of thing before. The worst she dealt with were naked were-critters wandering around her house as a teen when she had friends over. Her Dad kept strange friends around. "You're safe now," she wasn't sure if that was true, but it seemed like the right thing to say, "but can you tell me what happened?" Great, ask the little girl in shock to reveal horrible, scarring emotional experiences. Real nice. But, it’s what needed to be done. |
Julianna froze at the nose touch, the hurt in her cheek was gone, but the images still pained her, she was not some clueless girl. When the woman fainted she almost cried out in shock again, then Randy took the gun and the terrified kid stared up at her. She didn’t care that the gun had been tossed aside nor was she listening too much to what Randy had to say, she could just tell that there was a safe place for her right there.
The girl clambered to her feet unsteadily and leapt forward, instantly closing the already short distance between them, her hands attempting to cling to the lower area of Randy’s waist while she moved to bury her face into the lower abdomen, sobbing away. She was safe, that’s all she cared for right now, this woman and the other acting like some small pinpricks of hope in the consuming darkness that had just torn her life apart in the time it took to microwave your everyday frozen meal. |
Skyler suddenly regained control as her wings returned, Melvin must have moved on. Unable to get back up into the air she gently floated down into an alley, and touched down, her wings fanning papers up and away. Sheepishly she realized that she had left her coat and Rowen’s shoes back at the park, she knew that she could always feign crazy and pretend her wings were part of a costume, but it was better off if they couldn’t be seen. The sounds of a battle could be heard out in the streets, Skyler loved trouble of all sorts!
She ran out her wings limply hanging as if they were tied on. Running into the street she saw that most of the fight had slowed down if not stopped. Almost pouting that she missed the fun, she went over to Randy when she saw a young woman collapsed. “What happened here?! I feel like I missed out as I was spiraling down to a terrible death, which I managed to avoid. And who is this, and who is that?” she had just seen the girl and the dead man. The amount of blood made her queasy and she staggered as she looked away. |
"I almost got shot," Rowen replied to Skyler dully before he suddenly chuckled as the harpy quickly looked away, "awh, too much blood and guts for you?" He teased. He ran a hand through his hair, looking relieved that the gun was tossed to the side. He carefully stood up and began mindlessly licking the blood off his fingers with his long, striped tongue.
"Apparently, that kid over there fell out of the sky and this guy was pestering her, then she shot him and he's dead, obviously," Rowen explained to Skyler before looking her over, "By the way, what was that giant blob thing over there? I think I may have missed more than you did," he paused for a moment, "and where are my boots?" {short D:} |
Rainbow dodged the ever-growing blob as best she could, grabbing a firm hold on the coat of the man next to her. "Stop blabbering and run!" she yelped, dragging him away before he was enveloped in the goo's... goo. As she ran, she splashed through the sludge as it started to solidify. One of the smaller goo-blobs attached itself to her right foot, crawling up over her boot and oozing its way up her leg, under her pantleg. "EEEEEEEEEEEEEK!" she screeched, stopping dead in her tracks and trying to batter the thing away. "Gettitoffgettitoff!" her screams were in a high-pitched voice, and she released her grip on her newest companion's coat, shaking her leg and running around and doing anything she could to get the foreign substance off of her leg.
Suddenly, a blinding light flashed through the air. She rubbed her eyes in an attempt to return her sight, and the goo on her leg made a sort of hissing scream and seemed to evaporate, although the same couldn't be said for the giant one following her and the man she'd let go of. Turning around slowly, she looked up at it as it loomed over her. "Nice... Wilmer.....?" she squeaked, looking up at it fearfully. It grew larger by the second, and Rainbow couldn't help but jolt slightly as she realized something. This blob was emitting a faint emotional aura! It was hard to read, but she finally picked up on it. This thing.... was hungry! "Uh... What did you usually feed this thing--I mean, Wilmer?" she asked it's creator, leaping backwards and just out of reach of the blob as it lunged for her again. "It's hungry, that's all!" At this point, the random flash of light was the furthest thing from her mind. Survival is a little more important than curiosity. {[Squee! A mildly bigger-than-usual post to make up for my horrendous lack of posting! x _________ X;;;]} |
Randy froze when the girl attached herself to her. She was very careful not to move, afraid that, like a wild animal, small movements would set her off. But the girl just clung to her, and after a moment she put her arms around the kid. That's what you did with crying children, right? Hugged them? She stroked the girls hair, and mumbled things like "It's alright. You're safe. It'll be okay." None of it was really true, and Randy knew it, but, this kid didn't need to. She wasn't used to crying or emotional people, or, them crying and being emotional in her general vicinity, but she had a sneaking suspicion that deer in head lights would be less then helpful, as much as that had been her first reaction. Or to leap back with a banshee shriek and scream things about cooties. Okay, maybe not the cooties and screaming.
She shot Rowen a less then kindly look, however, at his less then sensitive retelling, but her head snapped over when he mentioned the goo, and when she saw the goo. "Oh, crap on a stick!" It had already grabbed the puppy from earlier again, too. That dog really must have not been very smart. That or it liked floating around in goo. What was she supposed to do with the kid? Stick her in a tree? Henry glanced at the big Wilmer to Rainbow, and reached into the pocket of his lab coat and pulled out a small vial full of what looked like flakey fish food. "He eats the same things I do. Day old pizza, coke, red bull, and Doritos. He really loves the nacho cheese ones. He'll eat the cool ranch, too, though. Hates the new jalapeño ones, though. Do you have any Doritos on you? No, hm. I have these, usually I have to crush stuff up for him," he said to explain the vial a little hastily. He looked at the vial and at Wilmer, pulling the cap off and offering it up to the goo timidly. Wilmer wobbled forward, engulfing Henry up to his elbow, "You're colder then usual, I really should make you a sweater..." He mumbled to himself, and Wilmer, emptying out the vial, paused before it was thrown across the park and crashed over Henry who only managed to avoid being swallowed by clinging to a near by tree branch. Wilmer subsided, and Henry was left clinging to the branch, his whole body now wrapped around it, for dear life. He let go and started running with a girlish sort of noise as Wilmer decided he tasted better then Doritos flakes, and went after him |
Futile as it seemed at the time, for any child, no matter how smart or simple, the embrace and the kind words more than helped as the sobbing died down but she still sniffled, shook up by the recent happenings. Whether Randy liked it or not the kid was attatched to her now, she was the safest thing nearby and thats all Julianna cared about right now, though she tried to make out a bit more of what was going on around her.
What a bizarre place to have ended up, what was this? Like some kind of alternate dimension? had she warped into a world with sci-fi or fantasy elements beyond the human world she was used to? The kid finally mumbled something but it was too undiscernable, digging back softly into Randy as she thought about the ring she was wearing at the moment, it was broken, quite obviously, since parts of the once silver item were now charred. |
Melvin came strutting back into the group. He had just gathered several viles of sludge water, and he had found and interesting constant. The water was polluted with miracle grow. Melvin had known that one day the obsessive care that went into a well-manicured lawn would eventually come back to bite the obsessive-caretaker in the arse. "Wasteful is what it is. Wasteful and excessive." Melvin grumbled.
Melvin stopped dead in his tracks at the scene that lay before him. Mary was unconcious on the ground, That cannible guy had blood all over his face, there was a sobbing child attatched to Randy, and Skylar had no shoes. Melvin sorted these events into priorities to be discussed. So at once, he turned to each of them in turn. "Okay, Why did you let the cannible off the leash, why is this little one sobbing, and why arent you wearing shoes?" Melvin strode forward to kneel next to Mary. He checked her eyes and her heartrate then leaned his head on her chest to check her breathing. Melvin picked Mary up to cradle her gently in his arms. "Im sorry little one, did she scare you by falling asleep all of a sudden?" He asked the small crying child sympathetically. "She has stress-induced-narcolepsy, it means she falls asleep when too much bad stuff goes on around her. She'll wake up in a few hours." Over his shoulder he saw Rowen over a slightly mangled corspe. He had so much to say so he summed it up in a single word. "Ew." |
Skyler was ready to turn back around and address Rowen when she saw that Melvin was returning. Almost in a panic her wings fluttered and then faded away. She turned around thinking that the blood and carnage was gone with her wings but it was still there. Lightheaded she quickly turned around again.
“Any blood is too much for me, Rowen. And your shoes are with my jacket, back in the woods. I left in a bit of a hurry but I know where they are and I need my jacket so I’ll get them. Here comes void man.” She smiled as he came over still trying to win his trust and make him believe what he couldn’t. “I’m quite sorry you had to see this. My friends here found this fellow here trying to abuse this girl and, alas, they did not think first about the repercussions just the saving of this girl. Which as you can see has happened and no harm has come to her. As for my shoes, well… I don’t really like them and left them with my jacket back at the park. Silly me.” She giggled trying to relieve the situation. She tried to stick to a story close enough to the truth, and hopefully it worked and was believable. |
Rowen's eye twitched at the word 'cannibal'. He may have had a strange diet but he didn't eat his own kind, which kind of gave him a stomach ache when he thought about it but, Melvin had already successfully done that with his void.
"I'm not a fricken cannibal! And maybe when your girlfriend wakes up SHE can tell you that this idiot was trying to shoot people! You should be THANKING me! For all you know, she might have been shot in the process along with Randy and this kid!" Rowen snapped in frustration, "AND I'm not some sort of pet that you put a leash on and take for a walk, got it!?" His temper was short now, maybe it was because his eye was still throbbing. Then again, his eye was no longer giving him any pain. He blinked as he realized this and lightly ran his hand over it, Melvin's void had made the curse vanish, but for how long? The demon inwardly sighed, knowing it would return as soon as Melvin walked away from him. {{ick}} |
