Scooting towards him, Leane gave his hand a tender squeeze as she rested her temple upon his shoulder. "To the park," Leane agreed as she traced small designs upon his hand, "Then more procrastination after we eat?" Leane inquired with a teasing smile upon her lips, "I have a feeling it's going to get pretty cold by the lake."

"You're a horrible influence on me, love." Matthew laughed as he pulled into the parking lot of the park and placed a kiss on Leane's head. "Now to get all this food over there." He said, gesturing to the shore of the lake.

Unbuckling her seat-belt, Leane sat on her knees on the seat and wrapped her arms around Matt's neck. "I'll take a large bag along with the drinks if you grab the large and the medium?" Leane suggested as she placed long, tender kisses upon his jaw, neck, and lips, her tongue caressing his skin with each kiss. "And I like being a horrible influence on you, dearest, if it means I get to kiss you longer," Leane whispered in his ear before nibbling and kissing his earlobe.

"Always corrupting innocent teenage boys." Matthew teased as he wrapped his arms around her waist and returning her kisses. Breaking their embrace, Matthew opened the door of the car and pulled out a large bag and a medium sized bag. "Alright, where would you like to eat, love?" He asked.

Taking the remaining bag and the drinks, leaving her purse in the car under the seat, Leane walked beside Matt as she pointed a place by the lake with her foot near the playground, "Over there alright?"

"Alright." Matthew said as he followed where Leane had pointed and set the bags on a nearby picnic table. "Now if I can find my burger and fries under this mountain of food." He teased.

Leane laughed as she started filling the table with the food, taking everything out so she could pick at all of it at once. "What can I say? You brought this upon yourself the moment you introduced me to that diner," Leane teased as she handed him a burger and set of fries from the medium sized bag, "Is this the right burger? I can't tell without unwrapping," Leane added with a laugh as she took out another burger.

Matthew laughed as he shook his head and looked inside the medium bag. "Yeah, this is mine." He said as he unwrapped his burger and fries and took a bite of his burger.

Leane smiled as she balled all of the bags up and placed them on the ground out of the way and opened all of the containers. Giggling, Leane took a bite of her fries before digging into her slice of lasagna. "If you want anything, feel free to take it," Leane said with a smile as she pointed to the buffet of food before them and took a few more bites of her lasagna.

"I think I might be satisfied with my burger and fries." Matthew laughed. "But I appreciate the offer." He said politely before taking a few bites of his own fries.

"Right.. I forgot I'm the only one who could ever eat this much," Leane laughed as she continued to eat her lasagna before starting in on her caesar salad. As Leane ate, Leane tried to keep her thoughts from roaming to school and the possibility of a human being growing within her womb but failed miserably. After finishing her salad and beginning on her fries, Leane's mood became melancholy once more as she thought of Matt and how all of this would affect him.

"Leane..." Matthew sighed as he set aside his wrappers and edged closer to his girlfriend, wrapping his arms around her and resting his chin on her shoulder. "You look upset. Please don't be." He said softly as he traced the length of her jaw with his fingers. "We're going to be alright." He promised.

Forcing a smile, Leane laughed it off as she placed a long, tender kiss upon Matt's lips, "Don't worry about me, dearest, I'll be alright. The initial shock is just wearing off and everything is simply starting to settle in..
"Composure may be one of my strong points, but right now it is surely failing me.. I must face your parents, Matt.. I've only just met them.. What will they think of me? To have corrupted you in such a short time as to make love to me and then not use protection as we made love.. bringing on a possible pregnancy.. "It doesn't help that my visits are irregular, we can't even judge according to that... We have to go to a doctor at the soonest point in time.. and because of Kurt.." Leane trailed off as she looked away from Matt, shame filling her features as she set her food down and wrapped her arms around herself as if in comfort. |
"Because of Kurt?" Matthew asked curiously as he took Leane's chin and brought her eyes to his. "Lee, please. I don't know how to make things better if I don't know what's wrong." He urged.

Leane sighed as she looked up at him, "Kurt ruined everything, yet again.. Now.. Now we have to tell our parents without even being sure. Now the whole school thinks I'm pregnant and won't believe I'm not if I'm truly not.
"And if I am? They'll tear into us just like they are now over the old history teacher... They'll be vile, Matt, absolutely wretched.. More so because we're still in high school.. "And Kurt he... he'll try and make me lose the baby if I am pregnant," Leane whispered as she looked away from Matt, "I just know he will.. That or he'll do everything in his power to make us separate and make me have a very tough pregnancy.. Ever since I've been with you, he's been drunk more often than not... There's no telling what he'll do.." |
"Leane." Matthew soothed as he tightened his arms around her and cradled her to his chest. "The only thing that could make me leave you is if you didn't want me anymore. I'm so sorry, Leane. I didn't want this to happen." He sighed into her hair. "I just wanted to keep you happy. Apparently that didn't turn out so well." He frowned as he placed a small kiss on her cheek. "But I'm not going to let Kurt or anyone else for that matter tear us apart, Leane. I'm here for you." He promised.

"You mean you.. No, never mind, surely you didn't mean it like that," Leane rambled as she pushed her thoughts from her mind. Sighing, Leane wrapped her arms around Matt's waist and pulled him close, taking a deep breath as she buried her face into his chest.
"Matt.. I'm so sorry about all of this.. I promise you, I do not wish for you to leave.. I shall never wish that unless that is what you truly wish. I love you Matt. No matter what happens, I shall always love you. Never forget that, okay?" Leane whispered into his chest as the tears continued to slowly fall. |
"I love you too, Leane." Matthew promised as he tried to comfort her as best he could by tightening his arms around her. "More then you realize." He said softly as he tilted her chin upwards, her tear stained cheeks causing knots of pain in his stomach. He hated that he was causing such pain for her and he couldn't fix it. "I want you to know that nothing is going to change that." He said firmly as he looked her straight in the eyes.

A small smile crept into Leane's lips as she looked up at Matt and tenderly caressed his cheek. "I know," Leane whispered before placing a number of long, tender, passionate kisses upon his lips, her tongue slipping between his lips to caress his own.
Resting her forehead against his, Leane's smile widened as she laughed softly, "You know.. As long as we are together, and as long as we love each other, that's all that should matter, right? I shouldn't let the others effect how I feel about anything, no matter what happens, right?" |
"Exactly." Matthew smiled as he felt a small bit of hope in his stomach. "Everything is going to be alright." He promised as he stroked her cheek before giving her another long kiss, tangling a hand in her hair.

"Right," Leane smiled as she eagerly returned his kisses. "I love you," Leane whispered against his lips between long, tender kisses, one hand clutching the front of his shirt while the other slid into his hair and pulled him closer to her.

"I love you too, Leane." Matthew said softly as he cupped the back of her head and caressed her lips gently with his own. "I love you so, so much." He promised as one hand traveled from her arm to her shoulder on to her side to wrap around to her back where Matthew pressed Leane closer to him.

A small gasped escaped Leane's lips as she shifted so that she was between Matt and the picnic table, sitting upon his lap with her legs wrapped around his waist. Pressing against him, Leane pulled him close against her as she slipped off his jacket and set it on the ground beside them so that her hand could slip beneath the hem and caress his side.
"Matt.." Leane whispered as she pressed against him, her tongue slipping between his lips to caress his own before leaving a trail of long, tender kiss across his jaw and down his neck, her tongue caressing his skin with each kiss. It was a good thing there was no one at the park on such a day as this, Leane and Matt would have been quite the sight if here had been. |
"Lee." Matthew breathed as he buried his face in her shoulder and forced his breathing to remain normal. "Must you be so incredibly tempting?" He asked as his fingers floated over her sides. "It doesn't help when you try to undermine my control, love." He said softly.

"As if you aren't tempting as well, my love," Leane laughed as she paused in her kisses and rested her forehead upon his shoulder. "I'm sorry, Matt.. I'll stop if you want me too," Leane promised with a seductive smile as as she leaned back against the picnic table and slipped off her jacket.
Setting it on the bench beside them before straightening out her skirt, which had ridden up a bit when she sat on Matt's lap, Leane laughed as she placed a light kiss upon Matt's lips, "But only if you really want me to." |
