Matthew sighed with relief when English was over, quickly picking up his books and walking over to Leane's desk. "Well that was fun." He joked just as Jack stifled a yawn, almost as if on cue.

Leane laughed as she picked up her things and headed out of the classroom with Matt, "What's wrong with English? I rather like it."

"It was kind of boring." Matthew joked. Jack nodded in agreement before heading off for his own locker.

"See ya in computers." Jack said as he disappeared behind the corner.

Matthew put his arm around Leane's shoulder as he walked her to her locker. "The teacher kind of just drones on."

Leane laughed as she leaned back against her locker, "Mm, perhaps, but the topic is interesting enough to keep me awake despite the droning. What can I say? I'm an English nerd," added Leane with a laugh.

Caressing his cheek with her free hand, Leane leaned in for a tender kiss. "See you in the courtyard after Calculus?" she whispered between kisses. "And try not to get into a fight on your way there today, okay?" Leane teased with a grin before placing another tender kiss upon his lips.

"No guarantees." Matthew teased as he gave her a gentle kiss. "Love you." He whispered softly before turing to head back to his locker.

Jack leaned up against the locker next to Matt's as Matt got his books out. "So. You're with Leane now." Jack said, looking down at his shoes.

"Yeah." Matthew said curiously, raising his eyebrow.

"So you're not into Gena anymore?" Jack asked softly as they walked towards the computer room.

Biting her lower lip as she tried to keep the smile from her lips, yet failing miserably, and feeling like a total idiot for the way she was grinning happily to herself, Leane put her English books away before grabbing her Calculus things and heading off to class.

Sliding into the seat next to Ben, Leane still had the same silly school-girl grin spread across her cheeks, "Morning!"

"Morning." Ben laughed as Leane sat down. "What's got you in a good mood? Let me guess." Ben said, pausing dramatically as he pretended to think. "It wouldn't happen to be my best friend's lips." He teased.

"If you like Gena just go for it." Matthew encouraged Jack when they got to the computers room.

"It wouldn't be weird for you?" Jack asked as they took their seats.

"No way, I'm crazy for Leane. I don't want you to hold back because of me." Matthew laughed. "If you like Gena then say something to her." He smiled.

"That's definitely one reason," Leane laughed as she playfully rolled her eyes. "You're just jealous that I'm in love with, not to mention kissing, him and not you," she teased with a wink as she stuck out her tongue.

"You caught me." Ben laughed. "I'm so jealous. Its driving me crazy." He teased, rolling his eyes. "I actually have my eye on a different prize." He joked as he flipped open his note book before realizing what he had said.

"Forget I said that." Ben said quickly as he doodled in his notebook.

"I'll talk to her." Jack blushed before turning his attention to the screen in front of him, ending the conversation with that one statement.

Grinning, Leane leaned close to Ben and looped her arm through his. "Ben," Leane called softly in a sing-song voice, "Ben, Ben, Ben. I didn't think you'd crush on anyone! Tell me, who's the lucky girl? Anyone I know? Anyone I can help get to notice you if she hasn't already?"

Ben rolled his eyes playfully, shaking off Leane's arm. "I don't think so. But the offer is much appreciated." He teased. "And if you don't pay attention then you're going to fail." He laughed as he pointed to the teacher who had started the day's lecture.

Rolling her eyes playfully, Leane turned to the teacher as he droned on about pointless things they'd never use outside of the classroom.

When Calculus was over, their homework turned in, and their new homework assigned, Leane packed up her things and grinned at Ben as she spoke quietly, "I think I've figured it out. You're crushing on Gena huh! She's the only one I wouldn't really have any influence over, to my knowledge that is. So it has to be her!"

Ben laughed at Leane's assumption before mimicking a buzzer. "Wrong answer." He joked as they walked out of the Calculus room. "I'm not the one with a crush on Gena." He teased. "But good try. It was a noble effort really." He smiled, giving her shoulder a pat before leaving for his locker.

Rolling her eyes she called after him, "I'll figure it out before the end of the day I'm sure!"

Heading to her locker, Leane put away her calculus things before taking out her art supplies. Still beaming, Leane headed over to Matt's locker and leaned against the locker beside it to wait for him.

Matthew made his way to his locker after his computer class. Seeing Leane's smile, Matthew wrapped his arms around her waist and gave her a quick kiss before turning to his locker. "What are you so happy about?" He teased as he unlocked his locker and put his books inside.

"Nothing really, today's just starting out quite perfect is all. Oh! And Ben has a crush. I have a feeling it's Gena, but he claims it's not, so I'm determined to figure out who it is simply for curiosities sake. He did help us get together after all," she added with a laugh as she linked her fingers through Matt's.

"Nah, its not Gena." Matthew said as he led Leane towards the courtyard. "Jack likes Gena. But its strange that Ben would say something." He said, his brow furrowed in confusion. "Ever since that Amber girl he's been very secretive about dating. Sometimes we don't even find out about a girl he's dated until after they've broken up." He explained.

Leane sighed as her forehead creased in concentration, "Hmm.... I can't say I'm surprised about Jack and Gena, he seemed pretty into her before.. But Ben... he's a mystery! He just kind of let it slip when I was teasing him about being jealous of you for being able to kiss me so much. He said he has an eye on a different prize... Who could it be I wonder.. Well, hopefully it'll come out by the Christmas Ball, then he can ask whomever it is to the Ball and have a date! Then they can dance the night away and have quite a romantic evening," finish Leane with a laugh as they neared their tree in the Courtyard.

"If he does end up telling his mystery girl I'm not sure when we'll find out." Matthew said as he sat beneath the tree and brought Leane next to him, putting an arm around her shoulders. "I told you he's secretive so we shall see." Matthew shrugged.

Leane laughed as she snuggled in next to him and began drawing the tree across from them, "Perhaps. Perhaps not. You really should trust my detective skills. I mean, how else would I have known that- OH! OH! Oh oh oh! I know! I know who it is. That would explain why he always winks at her and flirts with her whenever she's around! He always seems to be talking to her rather than to-I'd better shut up now," Leane finished as she focused in on her work.

"Who is it?" Matthew asked as he put his arm around her. "Were you thinking of Jenny?" He pondered quietly, remembering the night at the Ball when they had begun to leave. "I was thinking of her but I'm not sure." He shrugged as he rested his cheek against Leane's hair.

"Quite possibly," Leane said softly, "She's intrigued by him and finds him rather hilarious. He's a nice mix for her, she's a bit like him in her own way. Does Ben do or say anything to point to it being her?"

"He just flirts a bit with her sometimes." Matthew said. "If he wanted us to know then he'd tell us. Sometimes I wish that Amber hadn't quite damaged him like she had." Matthew sighed. "He's always so distant when there's girls involved but it is his business." He shrugged. "As long as he's not interested in you then its fine by me." He smiled, putting a kiss on her head.

Leane chuckled as she snuggled in closer, "Hmm, I don't think he's interested in me, dearest, at least not in the romantic sense. But maybe he's only kind to me so he can get closer to Jen, hm? I think they'd be sweet together.. It's a shame that wretched Amber hurt him like she did... If I knew this Amber girl, she'd definitely be on the Cheerleading Hit-List and be out of this school before she could ask what she did," Leane added with a scowl, "She reminds me so much of Kurt it's bloody irritating.."

"Its not really Amber's fault." Matthew said. "They had sex too early. It was a mutual decision." He explained. "She just felt badly after and so did he. It was an awkward thing for the both of them. That's what upset him, how easily they'd gone from a great relationship to not wanting to even touch each other. I don't blame her but I feel bad about Ben."
