"Are you going to make it?" Matthew teased as he stood by Leane's desk. "I think it was touch and go for a while." He joked as he put his arm around her waist, somewhat proud that Leane had been the only girl not falling over herself at the new teacher.

Leane, taking deep breaths, looked up at Matt as she wiped the tears from her eyes, "I-I-I can't help it! They're faces! They actually drooled! And some of the things they were saying! If you had only heard, Matt, you'd be laughing as well!"

"I bet." Matthew said, fighting back a laugh as he caught Mr. Jones' curious look andushered Leane out the door. "I'm just glad that you weren't falling over your desk for him." He said, kissing Leane's forehead as he led her down the halls to her locker.

Her laughs slowing to small giggles, Leane linked her fingers through Matt's as she rested her head against his shoulder on their way downstairs to her locker, "Oh dear, he's going to think I'm insane for laughing so much. Not exactly the best first impression, eh dearest?"

"Well I think its better then the impressions all the other girls were making." Matthew joked as they reached her locker. Leaning against the locker next to Leane's, Matthew kept their fingers entwined as he pulled Leane towards him to give her a small kiss.

"You only say that because I'm not making googly-eyes at him!" Leane laughed as she stood on her toes to give him a tender kiss before opening her locker. Placing her History things inside, Leane led Matt over to his locker and leaned against the locker next to his, "Though, he is rather handsome. Maybe I'll get lucky and he'll be attracted to me. I always have liked older men," she teased as she brought his fingertips to her lips and placed a gentle kiss upon them.

"Well then I guess I'm going to have to find another gorgeous girl to kiss in the hallways." Matthew sighed with a smile as he pretended to scan the hallways before turning back to Leane. "Oh right." He said as he rested his forehead against Leane's. "I'm not going to give mine up." He smiled as he gave her a small kiss before putting away his books.

Shutting his locker once he was through, Leane leaned back against his locker and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Good, 'cause if you gave me up that easily, I'd probably have to ring your bloody neck," she teased as she pulled him close to placed a long, tender kiss upon his lips.

Matthew smiled as he wrapped his arms around Leane's waist as he deepened the kiss slightly before putting an arm around her waist and leading her towards the cafeteria. "I wonder what's for lunch today." Matthew smiled as they walked. "I'm thinking its a taco day." He grinned, patting his stomach.

"Ew, really? Definitely sitting outside then 'cause I know Jen and Jo won't get them. How can you eat those? They're so greasy and disgusting," she added with a shudder as she thought about them. Shaking her head slightly to clear the image and forget about the smell that was now filling her nostrils, Leane sighed, "The school's food trully cannot get any worse. Any idea what the option is?"

"No idea, love." Matthew smiled as he opened the cafeteria door for them. "And I'm a guy, aren't I suppose to be disgusting." He teased as he put an arm around her waist, ignoring the strange looks everyone else was giving them as he led her towards the lunch line.

"Mmm, but as long as you're my disgusting guy, I don't mind so much," she teased as she placed a tender kiss upon his lips. Turning to the line, Leane wove in and out of people as she grabbed what she wanted for lunch - a chocolate milk and a couple slices of pepperoni pizza. After paying for her meal, Leane waited for Matt near the front of the line off to the side.

Matthew grabbed a couple of tacos off the line as well as batch of fries and a bottle of water. "Ready." Matt smiled as he paid for his lunch and led Leane outside where Ben, Jack, and Gena were sitting at a table already.
"Sweet! Taco day!" Ben announced happily as Matthew put the food in the middle of the table. |
Leane rolled her eyes playfully as she teased, "Not you too Ben! Those things are disgusting. Besides, who knows what the school puts in those!"
Joanna and Jenny, sitting at their usual table, watched as Leane sat with Matt's friends. Exchanging a look as they noticed Gena, the girls silently agreed to go over and sit with Leane in case Gena tried starting anything. Walking over, Jenny blushed as she looked over at Ben and Jack, "Mind if we join?" |
"Of course not." Ben smiled, trying to hold back his smile, knowing that Leane would be watching him. "Move over for the pretty ladies, Jackie." Ben said as they shifted to give Jenny and Joanna room to sit. "These tacos are delicious." Ben smiled at Leane as he took one and bit into the crispy taco shell.
"Agreed." Gena smiled, trying to keep her temper under control for Matt's sake. Matthew smiled as he took his own taco along with Jack as the bit into the greasy taco. |
Joanna, moving to take the seat by Leane, left Jenny to take the seat by Ben. Blushing, Jenny set her salad down and looked at the taco longingly, "I haven't had one of those in years.. Are they still the greasy goodness they used to be?"
Leane rolled her eyes playfully, "Then eat one Jen! You're the one who stays on those crash diets with Jo," she added as she took a bite of her pizza. Joanna laughed, "Well, we aren't like you Lee! If we ate as much as you do, we'd be blimps in the matter of days! I'm sure once Matt sees how much you eat, he'll be shocked and wonder how it all fits in that tiny waist of yours," she teased as she took a drink of her protein shake. |
"I have seen her eat." Matthew laughed. "I'm not sure where she puts it all." He teased as he wrapped an arm around Leane's waist and gave her temple a kiss before returning to his taco.
"Try one." Ben encouraged as he held out a taco for Jenny. "Its delicious and one taco won't kill you." "Its school food so it just might." Jack teased as he took another bite. "Don't scare her off." Ben laughed as he turned back to Jenny. |
Jenny blushed as she looked at the taco, "Alright, just one bite."
Taking the taco, Jenny hesitantly took a small bite. Grinning, Jenny took another bite as she looked at Ben, "Okay, so maybe more than one, but it's really really good!" - Leane rolled her eyes playfully, "Did you guys ever think that maybe, just maybe, it all gets worked off between gymnastics and cheerleading?" Joanna laughed, "Lee, I still think it's abnormal how much you can eat. And even your boyfriend agrees wth me, so there," she added as she playfully stuck out her tongue. Leane in turn stuck out her tongue playfully before shoving a bit of her pizza in Joanna's mouth. |
"Tacos are always good. With all they're greasy goodness that only a school cafeteria can achieve." Ben joked as he took a bite of his own taco.
"Play nice, Lee." Matthew teased as he took a fry from the middle of the table. |
Jenny laughed, "Definitely! I've missed these so much..." she admited as she took another bite of her taco. Blushing, Jenny set down the taco as she said softly, "Sorry for stealing your taco.. Want me to go get you another?"
- Leane laughed as Joanna licked her lips, "I am playing nice! It's about time these two got some decent food into them! Maybe we should sit with you guys more often," she added with a hidden wink over at Ben. |
"I'll forgive you just this once." Ben teased with a wink, blushing at Leane before turning back to Jenny and handing her the taco again. "You can't resist the taco-y goodness." Ben smiled.
"Maybe." Matthew smiled as he watched Ben with Jenny. |
Blushing, Jenny smiled as she admitted, "True.. but if I get fat I'm blaming you," she teased with a wink as she took the taco from him and ate another bite.
Nudging Matt gently in the thigh, Leane grinned an 'I told you so' grin before stealing a few fries from Matt's tray and popping them in her mouth after soaking them in kethcup. |
"I think you'll be fine." Ben smiled at Jenny before resuming eating his own taco.
Matthew gave Leane an encouraging smile before turning to see Jack and Gena huddled and talking quietly. Gena stifled a giggle and Mathew eyed them curiously. "What are you two talking about?" He asked curiously. "Nothing." They said in unison before breaking down in laughs. "The time you tried to make your own tacos." Gena laughed to which Jack nodded. "And you forgot to drain the meat after it'd cooked so the tacos were all soggy. Then you ended up having a hissy fit and treating us all to peanut butter and jelly sandwiches." Gena smiled. |
Leane chuckled, "Well, I know never to let you make tacos now! I'll just let you stick to cinnamon buns and stir fry," she teased as she kissed his cheek.
Taking another bite of her taco, Jenny smiled at Ben with a blush, feeling quite nervous about having him so close to her. Laughing, Joanna stole another bite of Leane's pizza and a few fries from the tray in the center of the table, "Matt can cook? I'm impressed. Maybe you do deserve my Lee," she added with a wink before taking a drink of her protein shake. |
"I hope so." Matthew teased as he bumped against Leane's hip. "Maybe the food's just the only reason she keeps me around." Matthew smiled.
"Well I certainly can't think of anything else she'd keep you around for." Ben teased. "It might be my rugged good looks." Matthew joked. |
