"Bye, Jenny." Ben smiled giving her hand a light squeeze before leaving to head down to the gym.

"I'll meet you in the courtyard." Matthew smiled before giving her another kiss and slipping out of her embrace. "Love you." Matt called over his shoulder as he made his way to the gym.

"Love you too," called Leane before turning down a nearby hall and heading towards her study hall to work on her calculus homework.

Blushing, Jenny held her hand as she walked into class. Unable to focus, Jenny's thoughts races about Ben and wondered why he took her hand so suddenly. Perhaps she was wrong about his intentions, perhaps he did like her. But that was ridiculous.. wasn't it?

"So what's up with you and Jenny?" Matthew teased Ben as they met outside the gym and headed into the locker room.

"Its nothing." Ben said shyly. "I mean, its not nothing. Just don't say anything, kay?" He rambled quickly. "I don't want her to be another Amber. I really like Jenny." He explained.

"No problem." Matthew said as they re-entered the gym dressed and ready to play volleyball.

Leane sighed as she worked on her calculus homework, the problems giving her a headache already.

Kenny, sitting across from Leane, looked over at her and chuckled as he leaned into the isle to talk to her, "Want any help?"

Leane smiled at him, "Nah, I've got it figure out, it's just so tedious and tiresome. Gets on my nerves rather fast, if you know what I mean."

Kenny nodded, "Aye, that I do. Have you got to twenty-three yet? That one's a doozie."

"Mm, not yet, but that's for the warning," Leane said with a smile as she continued working on number sixteen.

"Good luck," Kenny said softly before leaning back into his desk and working on number twenty-six of his Calculus homework.

"So, do you think Jenny likes me?" Ben asked as they wandered out of gym class. "I mean-" Ben said, clamping his mouth shut. "I don't know what I mean." He sighed in fustration.

"Well unless you can think of another reason that her cheeks were all red then I think you're good." Matthew smiled as he wandered towards the courtyard. Ben grinned, satisfied, before heading off to his study hall, hoping he'd see Jenny before the end of the day.

Leane tossed down her pencil in frustration and slammed her book shut. Turning to Kenny, Leane sighed, "Did you figure out thirty-six? That was the only one I still cannot figure out."

Kenny shook his head, "Not a clue. I have a free period though, want me to head over and ask?"

Leane smiled, "Would you? Thank you! I'll be in the courtyard for an art class. Explain it to me there if you get an answer?"

"Sure thing," replied Kenny with a smile before heading out of the room to his locker, Leane following shortly after to her own locker.

Leane, a bit happy at the fact that she won't seem like a total idiot in class the next day due to not understanding the one word problem on the assignment once Kenny explained to her how to do it, grinned as she grabbed her art supplies out of her locker. Heading on over to the Courtyard, Leane plopped own at "their tree", as she now referred to it, and waited for Matt as she worked on her earlier drawing.

Jenny sighed as she wandered through the halls, procrastinating going to her gym class, her thoughts filled with questions about Ben.

Speaking of whom, happened to have just turned around the corner and was heading straight towards a classroom near her. Giving a small wave, Jenny smiled.

"Hey beautiful." Matthew smiled as he sat beside Leane with a book in hand. "How was study hall? Did you just study or did you doodle my name in your notebook?" Matthew joked as he put an arm around her shoulders and gave her temple a small kiss.

"Hey." Ben smiled, his face almost lighting up having seen Jenny. "How was Home Ec.?" He asked lamely, mentally hitting himself in the head for such a dumb question.

Leane grinned as she put down her art things and turned towards Matt, "Perhaps. Doodling does help me sort out Calculus problems. Speaking of which, Kenny's supposed to stop by later and help me with a Calculus question because neither of us could figure it out. But until then," she added with a grin as she took his book and tossed it gently onto her art thing. Shifting so that she was sitting 'side-saddle' on his lap, Leane wrapped her arms around his neck and placed a tender kiss upon his lips. "What say you, we cash in that rain-check from earlier and procrastinate homework for awhile, hm?"

Jenny chuckled softly as she twiddled her thumbs, one of her nervous habits. "It wasn't too bad. I stabbed my finger with a needle while working on an embroidery pattern," she admitted with a blush as she held up her small 'battle wound' before reverting back to her nervous habit, "How was gym? I bet it was a good thing Kurt's absent today.. Matt probably wouldn't have survived long in the dodge ball game if he were.. Hopefully you guys won't be playing it next class.. I'd hate to see you get hurt.. I mean, you guys get hurt," she quickly added before mentally chiding herself for singling him out.

"In the middle of the courtyard?" Matthew grinned between kisses, wrapping his arms around her slim waist. "I hope you don't mind another detention." Matthew joked as he returned her kisses eagerly and tangled one of his hands into her smooth hair.

Leane smiled against his lips as she whispered between tender kisses, "As long as I have detention with you? I honestly don't think I'd mind it too much." Leaning against him as one palm caressed his shoulder while the other slid into his hair and caressed his head, Leane's lips left a trail of kisses across his jaw to his ear where she nibbled gently on his lobe before continuing her trail of kisses upon his earlobe, back to his jaw, and down his neck.

"Lee." Matthew whispered softly as the hold on her lower back tightened. Bringing her lips back to his own, Matthew parted her lips with his tongue as he explored her mouth. Bringing the hand from her hair to trial across her shoulder and run the length of her arm, Matthew let his hand wander over Leane's clothing before finding her hair again and running his fingers through the brightly colored tendrils.

Shuddering lightly under his touch, Leane pressed her body closer to his as she shifted so that she had a knee on each side of his hips and eagerly returned his kisses. Sitting on his lap, Leane's fingertips gently dug into his scalp and shoulder as her tongue slipped between Matt's lips to caress his own. "I love you," she whispered between kisses.

"As I love you." Matthew said softly between kisses. "So very much." He whispered as he pressed Leane so that there was no room between their bodies, his fingers tangled beyond finding in her hair as his other hand shifted to Leane's thigh. Tucking his hand under her thigh, Matthew kissed Leane tenderly, caressing her lips and tongue with his own as he completely forgot his worries about a teacher seeing them and focused only on Leane.

A soft moan escaped Leane's lips as Matt pulled her closer, his fingers pressing against her thigh as she eagerly returned his kisses. Resting her forehead against his, Leane smiled and tried to slow her breathing and her racing heart by slowing their kisses down to light ones. Not being able to say at that pace for very long, Leane gave in as her tongue slipped between his lips before lightly caressing his skin as her lips trailed his jaw and down his neck. "You really are too irresistible for your own good, you know," she whispered softly against the base of his neck before resuming her kisses.

"You're one to talk." Matthew murmured, a small smile on his lips as he leaned his head back against the tree and arched is neck to reach her smooth lips. "Do you want to stop?" Matthew asked before bringing her lips back to his own and giving her a deep kiss before resting his forehead against her's.

"Not a chance," she whispered as she placed a tender kiss upon his lips. Leaning back a tad so she could look up into his eyes, Leane added softly, "Unless that is what you wish. Do you want to stop?"

"No." Matthew grinned devilishly as he brought Leane's lips back to his own and kissed her with more passion then before. Using the hand around her thigh to press Leane back against him, Matthew deepened their kiss slowly, letting his tongue slip between Leane's lips.

Ben fought back his nerves as he moved forward to take Jenny's finger in his hands and gave it a small kiss. "Better?" He offered shyly as he moved backwards.

Sucking on tongue and lip softly as she returned his kisses, Leane leaned into him, her fingertips tenderly pressing into his skin as she pulled him closer. "Good," she whispered as their lips molded in a number of kisses, "'cause I'm kind of liking where we're at."

Jenny blushed a deep scarlet as she looked up at Ben, "What are you playing at Ben.. This really isn't funny, you know.. playing on my feelings for a bunch of laughs.. Why are you acting like this? Being so forward and kissing my finger all of a sudden.. I mean.. You never seemed interested in me before.. Are you and Jack having some kind of bet or something?"

"As do I." Matthew smiled against her lips between kisses, his kisses growing deeper and more passionate as the kissed.

Ben stood, shocked for a moment before he was able to form words and answered Jenny's questions. "I just like you." He said, his face red. "I mean, I saw you with Leane before and at the lunch table when we put Matt's name in the hat. I thought that because Leane and Matt have become so close that I'd be able to talk to you more." He rambled on. "I'm sorry it upset you. That's the last thing I wanted to do." He said before turning to leave, cursing himself for screwing up a relationship before it'd even started.

Jenny stood there shocked for a few moments before regaining her composure. Hurrying after him, Jenny pulled him to a stop and turned him to face her. Placing a tender kiss upon his lips, her tongue slipping between his lips to brush against his, Jenny smiled as she clasped her hands behind her back and smiled up at him, a blush still present in her cheeks, "What made you think it upset me that you were giving me attention? You've always intrigued me, Ben.. You make me laugh, truly laugh, without even really realizing you're doing it. I like you, a lot, I just didn't think you liked me. My being a cheerleader and all.. not to mention having dated a few football players, who may kinda-sorta-maybe had a hand in beating you guys up," she admitted with a blush. "Don't you have all the girls who date football jerks?"

Leane grinned as she returned his kisses with the same passion and intensity that he was giving her in his kisses. "You know, I'm glad we haven't gone to that next step yet.. If we did, it'd be so easy to fall into that level every time we're together and like this.. It's nice to just be able to kiss you and not wonder if it'd escalate, you know?" Leane admitted with a blush as she rested her forehead against Matt's, "I sound really stupid right now.. huh.."

"Well I can think of one that I don't hate." Ben smiled as he took Jenny's hands in his own. "I guess I just assumed that girl's thought poorly of guys who their ex-boyfriends beat up." He teased with a grin, relief flooding through him that he hadn't completely screwed things up with Jenny.

"Not at all." Matthew smiled. "I like just being able to kiss you." He grinned, giving her small kisses between words. "You're very...kissable." He smiled as he kissed her nose, forehead, and nose again before moving back to her small lips.

Linking her fingers through his, Jenny smiled up at him, "I'd say we both definitely made asses out of ourselves when we assumed the worst, huh. I'm pretty glad I was wrong."

Leane laughed as she placed a tender kiss upon his lips before leaning back a tad to look up at him, "Guess I'm not too shabby for only having ever kissed one boy in my entire life, huh. Willingly, that is. I'm so not counting Kurt forcing his tongue down my throat a kiss," Leane added with a shudder of disgust as she remembered that dreadful part of the night.

"I'm prety glad I was wrong to." Ben laughed. "Are you going to get in trouble for skipping class?" Ben asked, his brow furrowed. "I don't want to get my girlfriend in trouble for ditching." Ben said quickly before his mind began backpedaling. "I mean, assuming you want to be my girlfriend." He sighed, putting a hand to his forehead. "That was smooth." He laughed before looking back up at Jenny.

"Jenny, would you be my girlfriend?" He asked, his face a light shade of red.

Matthew's body stiffened as he remembered that kiss. "Yeah, I don't think you should count that." He sighed as he pulled Leane closer to him. "Its times like those that I wish I wasn't such a social outcast and joined a sport just I'd have the muscles to beat him up." Matthew laughed as he buried his face in Leane's hair.

Jenny couldn't help but giggle softly as she nodded and wrapped her arms around Ben's neck. Brushing her nose lightly against his as she stood on her toes, Jenny whispered, "I'd be honored if I could call myself your girlfriend."

Placing a light kiss on his lips, Jenny leaned on her feet with a blush, "Sorry for kissing you so much.. I probably shouldn't have.. Kind of a bit too forward for just starting out huh.."

Leane smiled against his cheek as she placed a kiss upon it and whispered, "Nonsense, dearest. I love that you're a social outcast. It makes you different than all of those jock rejects I can't stand. I wouldn't want you to change for the world. Besides, if you were one of those jock rejects, you wouldn't be here to kiss away the memory," she whispered in his ear before nibbling his earlobe and placing a tender kiss upon it. Leaving a trail of kisses down his neck, Leane leaned into Matt and whispered, "I love you, Matthew Sommers, all of you. Social outcast and all."

Ben smiled as he wrapped his arms around her waist and gave her another small kiss. "As if I could ever turn down a kiss by a beautiful girl." Ben laughed.

"What ever I've done to deserve you, Lee, I'll never know. But I'm awfully glad I did it." He smiled as he brought Leane's lips to his own to give her a long kiss, all of his passion and love for her rolled into it.
