Jenny laughed as she wrapped her arms around Ben's neck, "Good, 'cause I'm quite tempted to keep kissing you. Even if I am stereotypical, and not beautiful like you say."

Returning his kiss with as much love, passion, and intensity as she had received, if not more so, Leane's nails dug into Matt's shoulder as her body molded against his so that there was no space between them.

"You're blind then." Ben laughed. "I think you're plenty beautiful." He said before giving her another small kiss. "You shouldn't doubt yourself. You're far to humble for your own good." He teased.

Matthew held tight to Leane, not ever wanting the period to end. Matthew felt his breathing increase slightly under her kisses before bringing his lips to te base of her neck and nibbling at the smooth skin there. Moving the fabric with his lips, Matthew pushed aside Leane's shirt to reveal a new patch of her smooth skin under his soft lips.

Jenny rolled her eyes playfully, "Not a chance. Have you seen the other girls on the squad? They're a lot prettier than me. I've always been the back-burner, I don't mind. And hey, if my back-burner stereotypical blonde-cheerleader looks snagged an amazing guy like you? I'm certainly not complaining. Especially since with you, it's safe to assume you don't just want to use me for sex and then dump me after. At least, I hope that's not what will happen.."

Leaning into his lips, Leane's hand tightened slightly around Matt's hair while the other slid to his chest and clutched the fabric gently. Her heart racing, her breathing slightly fast as his lips and tongue caressed her skin, Leane couldn't have been any happier nor could the moment have been more perfect.

In her arms, was the man she truly adored. The one and only guy who didn't push her to make love, who didn't want her just for sex, and the one and only guy who loved her for who she was and saw the real her. The one who pushed her to pursue her dreams and to not just go with her parent's wishes. To Leane, Matt was more than just a boyfriend. He was the only one who truly understood her and loved her despite all of her faults and quirks. At this moment, she couldn't imagine a life without him, nor could she really figure out why she never noticed him all these years.

Ben felt his mouth fall into a frown as he remembered exactly what sex had done for him. "I wouldn't use you for sex." He said quietly. "In fact, I don't particularly want to have sex for quite a while." He said shyly.

"Leane." Matthew whispered softly as he wanted to tell her exactly what she meant to him. She was the most beautiful girl in school, the richest, the most popular and she'd gone on a limb to date a guy like him. A guy who got beat up with his friends in the locker room at school and had been treated like the social outcast he was by nearly every girl in school. However, Matt couldn't say any of this to Leane as his lips were currently very busy.

Matthew pulled away from their embrace as the bell rang overhead of them. "Well that's a mood ruiner." He smiled, surprised by how swollen her lips had gotten from thier kisses and wondering if his own lips were swollen as well.

Jenny sighed as she softly caressed his cheek, "Ben.. I'm sorry if what I said brought up a bad memory.. It wasn't my intention.. I just.. I wanted to make sure we were on the same page. I don't want to have sex for a very long time either. I just didn't want you to assume that because I'm a cheerleader, I've had sex with every guy I dated. It's not true.. I had sex with one guy and that was it.. I'm afraid he fooled me pretty good.. Thought I meant the world to him. Guess I was just a fun toy while it lasted, huh."

Brushing off the thought, Jenny smiled, "But hey, I know you won't do that to me. so let's forget about that, hm? I'd much rather focus on us and our new future together. 'cause I must say, I rather like not having to hide my crush on you," she added with a wink.

Smiling her crooked half smile, Leane rested her forehead against his, "Not really, but it sure is quite the thing to make you remember where you are. I like having our small place here at school. It's a nice place to forget where we are and all those down-casting eyes. Besides, it's all our own and I rather like spending all this extra time with you," she added with smile as she placed a tender kiss upon his lips before slipping off his lap and gathering their things from off the ground.

"If it helps at all." Ben teased, putting his arms around her waist as he banished the thought of Amber from his mind. "You weren't hiding it very well." He laughed just as the bell rang. "What class do you have now?" He asked shyly as students started to pour out of the classrooms, eyeing the couple curiously.

"As do I." Matthew smiled as he took his book and helped Leane stand. Wrapping an arm around her waist, Matthew led her back into the building to her locker.

"I have a music class," Jenny said with a blush as he looked up at him, "But you've got class with Lee right? Isn't that out of your way?"

As a couple of jocks came out of a nearby classroom, one having been John, the guy who had sex with Jenny and dumped her shortly after, the boys eyed the couple and started making immature gestures and noises as they walked over to them. Putting his arm around Jenny's shoulders, John grinned at Ben, "Lookie what we have here boys! The slut and the outcast. Looks to me that she's finally found a guy who'll screw her and won't mind if she's absolutely terrible."

Jenny blushed as she elbowed John in the stomach and squirmed her way out of his grasp, "John, stop it.."

"Oh, were you not telling him about our little night? Sorry to have spilled the beans."

"John, he knows.. please, just leave me alone alright?" Jenny asked helplessly, used to his tauntings and his casual bringing up of that night. Jenny in truth wasn't terrible, she was just nervous before they started and then after they'd finished, John broke up with her and she'd cried. He, of course, twisted everything for his own ego boost and claimed she was so terrible that he had to ditch her right then and there, and that she had immediately started blatting and cried an ocean of tears as she begged him to stay with her.

Sighing, knowing that there was no stopping John, Jenny offered a small smile at Ben, "Sorry about all this.. I'll see you later, okay?" she added as she placed a gentle kiss upon his lips before hurrying off to her locker.

After putting her things inside her locker, not bothering to grab her Chemistry things yet, Leane moved over so she was leaning against Matt, who was leaning against the locker beside her's like usual. Looping her pointer fingers through his hip belt loops, Leane smiled up at him and placed a tender kiss upon his lips, "I love you." Placing another kiss upon his lips, Leane leaned back and sighed as she took out her Chemistry things and whispered, "I'm still afraid of meeting your parents though.. What if they hate me because of what happened to you? What if they only like me because I'm a Supton?"

Ben stared up at John in amazement, the boy was certainly cocky. Putting on a large smile Ben laughed out loud at the jock. "Someone's jealous." He taunted and turned away. "Maybe you'll find a girl someday that you don't repulse." Ben shrugged as he turned the corner of the hallway, quickening his pace slightly as he walked to the chemistry lab.

"My parents won't like you just because of your name." Matthew assured as he closed her locker and brought her to his own locker, giving her a tender kiss before opening it. "They know what happened to me and they still want to meet you so I'm going to take it as a good sign. Don't be nervous." Matthew smiled as he caressed Leane's cheek with his palm. "They're going to love you." He smiled warmly.

John smirked as he watched Ben disappear, "How about it boys? Why don't we give Newvine here a beating like his buddy Sommers?"

John may not have wanted Jenny for himself, but he also didn't want anyone else having her.

Leane offered a small smile as she looked up at Matt, "I really hope so.. Are you staying for gymnas-Jenny? What's wrong?" Leane's attention was quickly diverted as she saw Jenny completely shaken as she walked down the hall. Pulling her over to her, Leane wrapped her arms protectively around Jenny, "Jen, dear, what happened?"

"Ben.. he.. he asked me to be his girlfriend, and John saw us kissing.. He saw me happy, so he had to go and ruin it. Now Ben probably thinks poorly of me and will get himself beat up the first chance John gets," explained Jenny in a rush, "I-I've got to get to piano.. I-I'll talk to you later Lee," whispered Jenny as she darted off to her locker before heading to music class.

Sighing, Leane rested her forehead against Matt's chest, "That stupid idiot... Wasn't ruining Jenny's sophomore year enough? Does he really need to ruin her junior too?"

Matthew wrapped his arms around Leane's waist, giving her head a quick kiss. "I have to find Ben." He said quickly. "I'll see you later, love." He said, giving her a tender kiss before taking off down the hallway to find Ben before John could.

Gena and Jack laughed as they turned the corner before seeing Ben walking, faster then usual. "Hey, what's wrong?" Gena asked as they reached Ben.

"You guys would stand up with me in a fight, right?" Ben asked, looking around the hall.

"Of course." Jack said, rolling his eyes. "Who do we have to take down?" He asked as he followed Ben's gaze before seeing Matt. "Hey!" He called to Matt who ran over to the small group.

"Man, these jocks have some egos." Matt sighed. "I've got your back if John starts anything." Matthew assured Ben, putting an hand on his shoulder. "But let's get you to chem." He smiled before leading the group of friends to the chemistry room.

John smirked as he approached the group, "Wussy Newvine's got to have a girl and a couple of rejects help him in a fight? Pathetic. What's Sommer's supposed to do? Bleed on me? That boy's no better in a fight than a stick. And what's the girl supposed to do? Pull our hair and bite us? big whoop, she'll be down in a minute. Your friends are pathetic, Newvine, why don't you fight like a man instead of cowering behind your friends. Or does that whore of yours really not mean that much to you?"

Leane sighed as she headed towards Chem, 'Surely John wouldn't do anything without Kurt here.. would he?'

Ben didn't bother speaking as he stepped past Jack and Matt, who had moved protectively in front of him when John approached, to land a punch in John's jaw. "She's not a whore." Ben said bitterly as Matt and Jack pressed John against the wall.

"I'm don't bite." Gena said angrily as she stepped forward, landing a kick in John's groin. "I kick." She said with a satisfied grin.

Looking around as students raced towards the Chemistry Hallway, Leane caught bits and pieces of their conversations. From what she could gather, there was a fight between Jocks and - oh no.. Matt! Dropping her books as she ran down the hall, Leane was greeted by a dark scene ahead of her.

In moments, one of the jocks had Gena be the hair as he pulled her back away from the fight. Shoving her into the locker, he hissed in her ear, "Little girls shouldn't get into fights. They might get hurt beyond repair."

Another couple of jocks grabbed a hold of Jack and Matt and began throwing punches.

John himself smirked at Ben as he grabbed a fist full of hair and pulled his face inches from his own, "She's a whore and we both know it Newvine. What makes you think she won't screw you and dump you like I did to her? Didn't you ever think that maybe she has screwed everyone on the football team, not to mention the entire soccer and baseball team. Did you ever think that maybe she just wanted to add an outcast to her screw list?" With that, John punched Ben in the diaphragm. Shoving him to the ground and shoving one foot into the top of his stomach, John grinned down at Ben, "Really, Newvine. Did you think you could be her knight in shining armor and save her from a life of whoring around? I don't think so. Once a whore, always a whore."

"You would know all about whores." Ben spat at John. "Just because your mother's one doesn't mean Jenny is." He smirked as he shoved away John's foot and managed to regain his balance.

Gena's face contorted in anger as the jock held her. "You shouldn't hit girls." She said, spitting into the jock's face before landing a kick in his groin as well. "Didn't your mother tell you that? Oh that's right." Gena grinned cruelly. "You're mother wouldn't want to waste time on a creep like you." She said bitterly, slapping him directly across the face.

Matt and Jack dogded as many punches as they could, Matt neaerly doubling over in pain as a punch hit his ribs. "Now that's just not nice." He sturggled a laugh before throwing a punch at the jock's jaw.

"ENOUGH!" screamed Leane down the hallway as she stalked towards the group. "Honestly! You guys are no better than the ones you're punching! Have you all completely lost your minds? John, do you really even mean those things you're saying? You're just angry because Jenny's moved on and has found someone who likes her for who she is and won't abuse her like you did. And Ben, do you really think Jenny wants you to get your ass kicked on account of her? When she finds out, she's going to blame herself for ever getting close to you and end things so you don't get hurt anymore. And Gena, don't kick them in the groin anymore, it's football season. I know they deserve it, but it's not a good idea to get the gym teacher and the cheer-squad after you. And Jason, leave Gena alone. This fight was between Ben and John, you have no business being in it. Dale, get your hands off my boyfriend this very minute. You touch him again, and I swear your family will be more poor than dirt by tomorrow morning. And Matt, you stupid idiot!" she emphasized with a slap to his shoulder, "You could have gotten yourself killed! I know Ben's your friend, but Jesus Christ! Can you please think first?!"

Wiping the frustration tears from her eyes, Leane looked around at the group, hating how many bruised faces and banged up bodies she saw staring back at her.

"You are such a princess." Gena spat back, her hands arms crossed over her chest. "You act like this is all a big deal. Has it ever occured to you that this isn't exactly a first?" She yelled angrily, moving so that she was inches from Leane's face. "Just because you happen to be dating Matt doesn't make this any different then what it is! Maybe this hasn't occured to your mall obsessed brain but Matt, Jack, Ben, and I always stand up for each other. This is life. Welcome to it." She spat angrily.

"That's enough, Gena." Matt said angrily, stepping between the two girls. "You can leave now. Show's over." He said angrily as Jack came up behind Gena and dragged her away.

"You need to stop that." Jack murmured angrily as he dragged her away.

"You heard him, show's over people." Ben said as he straightened his clothes and walked over towards Leane and Matt as the crowd dispersed.

All of the jocks except for John mumbled an apology before heading off to their classes. John simply grunted towards Leane before heading off down the hall.

Leane sighed as she turned to Matt and buried her face into his chest. Clutching his shirt into her palms, Leane whispered through her tears, "I'm sorry.." Tilting her head slightly so she could see Ben's blurry form, Leane whispered, "I'm really sorry Ben.. I just.. I.."

"Its alright." Matthew soothed as he wrapped his arms around Leane and rested his face in her hair. "Its alright, love. Gena's gone. Its fine." He whispered softly as he stroked her back gently.

"No one's blaming you for anything." Ben assured Leane, patting her shoulder gently. "Really, its fine. I just- He called Jenny a whore. I didn't even think, I just punched." Ben smiled shyly. "Do you think she'll be angry with me?" He asked quietly.

"Nice sympathy." Matthew said, rolling his eyes at Ben as he put his arms tighter around Leane, ignoring the pain in his ribs.

"Well clearly Leane's not upset with you. I don't want to upset Jenny. Considering I just won her over, I don't want to screw this up again." Ben sighed.

Leane sighed as she wiped her eyes, "You'd best tell her yourself so she doesn't hear an exaggerated version from someone who watched.. I'm sure she won't be too angry with you. Just talk to her," Leane added with a small smile. Looking up at Matt, Leane frowned, "I may not be too upset with you, but you're still an idiot. You better hope you're not any more banged up than before. If you are, you're staying home the rest of the week and relaxing."

"Well are you going to help me relax?" Matthew teased with a wide smiled as he looked down at Leane. "You two should get to class." He added, looking pointedly at Ben who left for the chemistry room and left the couple alone.

"So you're not angry?" Matthew asked shyly as he gave Leane's nose a kiss.

Leane shook her head lightly, "No, I'm not angry. You were protecting your friend and sticking up for one of my dearest friends, how could I be angry at you for that? Do I think your insane? Yes. Do I think you're an idiot for getting into another fight? Most definitely. Am I proud of you? Without a doubt. But am I angry with you? No, not a chance," she added with a smile as she placed a tender kiss upon his lips. "As for helping you relax," Leane added with a grin as she whispered against his lips, "I think I can most definitely help with that."

Matthew smiled against Leane's lips as he returned her kisses eagerly. "You really should get to class." He teased as he broke their kiss. "I love you, Leane." He said softly, giving her a last kiss before turning to leave for his own class, which he to was late for.

Catching up to Matt a few moments later, Leane blushed as she asked, "Do you think I should skip cooking today? I-I'm partnered with Gena..." she added as she bent down and picked up her books from the floor when they reached them.

"Gena will be fine." Matthew smiled as he kissed Leane's forehead. "Jack will talk her down." He assured her.

"Are you insane?" Jack asked Gena as he held her close to the wall in an abandoned hallway.

"She is such a brat." Gena spat angrily. "She thinks the world just revovles around her. She hasn't been in our group since she was 3. She doesn't understand!" Gena hissed as she started to pace.

"And yelling at her is your solution?" Jack asked as he stopped Gena's pacing. "I know you guys will never be friends but you can't be civil. Matt likes her. So just put up with her." Jack said.

Gena sighed as she rested her head against Jack's shoulder. "Why are you always so nice to me?" She said, her voice low as Jack wrapped his arms around her and she did the same to him.

"Because I know how nice you are underneath all the bitterness." Jack laughed as he placed a kiss on Gena's temple.

Leane shook her head, "I'm not so sure... She may seem calmed down in front of him, but I know deep down she'll be boiling and ready to say just about anything to upset me. I can already hear her now blaming me for what happened today... If I hadn't started dating you, Ben and Jenny would never have gotten so close and started dating, you wouldn't be so banged up, Ben, Jack, and Gena wouldn't be banged up.. And maybe she's right, maybe it really is all my fault.. I didn't protect Jenny when I should have.. if I had.."

Sighing, Leane turned and headed back down the hall, "I'll see you after gymnastics.."
