"See?" Matthew asked. "I was right." He teased.

"Oh now don't go bragging." His mother said, rolling her eyes playfully. "I would make you wash the dishes for that. You should be glad I'm letting you off the hook tonight considering you have a guest." She laughed.

"Cleaning your room would be a more fitting punishment," Leane teased before sticking her tongue out playfully at Matt. Smiling, Leane finished her paella and took a sip of her water. "The meal was delicious, Mrs. Sommers. Would it be improper for me to ask if you could make it for me to eat before my gymnastics competition?"

"Of course not." Matthew's mother smiled. "When is your competition, I'd love to make it for you." She asked as Matthew picked up the empty dishes and set them in the sink before making his way back to the table.

"Two weeks this Saturday," said Leane with a smile as she took another sip of her water. "It's nothing serious, just a small competition to practice before we compete for Regionals."

"Alright, dear. I'll make paella." She smiled as she stood up and made her way to the sink. Matthew's father stood up as well and made his way to the living room to continue watching a game.

Taking Leane's hand, Matthew gave her cheek a small kiss before leading her back to his room. "When do you have to leave?" Matthew asked after closing his door.

"Whenever you wish. As long as I'm home by midnight, Daddy doesn't care when I return," Leane said with a smile as she sat cross-legged on the edge of his bed and looked over at him, "So whenever you get sick of me and want me to skedaddle, let me know."

"Yes, because I definetely want to get rid of you." Matthew teased as he changed the CD in his stereo to a Pop mix and turned the volume down before settling into a beanbag that faced Leane. "I told you my parents would love you." He smiled up at her. "You worry to much, love."

Leaning back, propping herself up with her hands, Leane uncrossed her legs and placed her toes upon Matt's knees, "I know, but I can't help it.. I want them to like me.. I'd feel so awkward spending so much time with you, knowing your parents disapproved of me. I'm very glad that's not the case though," she added with a warm smile, "I like your parents. It'd be a shame if they didn't like me in return."

"How could they not like you?" Matthew asked. "The only way anyone could not like you is if they were incredibly ignorant. And I would know." He laughed.

Leane smiled a teasing grin as she looked down at Matt, "Hmm, can't argue that one. You were pretty blind and incredibly insane not to notice how charming and perfect I am."

"Right, love." Matthew laughed. "You're completely perfect." He teased with a wink. "You're one of a kind at least but I don't know if I'd use the word perfect per se." He laughed. "What do you compete in gymnastics?" Matthew asked, having never took the time to notice her after school activities before.

"The balance beam and floor," said Leane with a smile, "I'm best at the balance beam though, when I don't twist my ankle that is. Jenny's better at floor."

Slipping off the bed, not noticing her pant-legs riding up a bit and showing her ankles - revealing one bandaged and one bare, Leane knelt in front of Matt and wrapped her arms around his neck as she looked up at him, "Come to my competition?"

"What happened to your ankle?" Matthew asked, ignoring Leane's question and shifting so that he sat on the floor beside her bandaged ankle. "Are you okay?" He asked, picking up her ankle with one hand.

Removing her ankle from his hand and hiding it out of sight with a blush, Leane stammered, "I-I fell.. I-It's really nothing. I'm fine, I promise. I just kind of... lost focus, on the balance beam," Leane admitted with a deeper blush as she bit her lower lip.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Matthew said, cupping Leane's face in his palm. "You didn't have to hide it." He smiled warmly as he took his seat back in his beanbag, giving her forehead a quick kiss.

"I didn't want you worrying, or blaming yourself for it happening," Leane said with a sigh as she tilted her face into his palm and kissed his wrist lightly before climbing over to sit beside him, her legs draping over his lap as she wrapped her arms loosely around his waist. Resting her head in the inside of his shoulder upon the side of his chest, Leane snuggled close to him, "It's was just a twist, it'll be fine in a few days. I just have to take it easy until it stops hurting when I bend it. It's really nothing to worry about, dearest, I promise. Besides, you have enough to worry about with you being all banged up, there's no need to add my small battle would to your list. Though I guess we match now, a couple of banged up lovebirds who can't seem to stay out of trouble," she added with a laugh as she arched her neck to placed tender kisses upon the base of Matt's neck.

"Now how would I blame myself for you falling off a balance beam?" Matthew laughed, arching his neck slightly under Leane's kisses. "I'm afraid that would be your own clumsiness." He teased as he wrapped his arms around Leane to cradle her against him. "And I'm not so badly banged up anymore." Matthew smiled, bending his head to give her a tender kiss. "My nose will be back to normal in two days at the most." He assured her.

Leane smiled as she shifted to place a light kiss upon the tip of his nose and whisper, "I'm glad. I miss you're old nose," she teased as she shifted back into her previous position. Moving her lips across his jaw and down his neck, Leane smiled against his skin as she whispered, "And if you knew what I was thinking about, you might think it was your fault. And in a way it is true. It was your devilishly handsome looks that got me distracted," she teased as she continued to kiss him.

"They have been known to cause trouble." Matthew smiled, his neck stretching from the attention of Leane's lips.

"Mmm, perhaps. But as long as you don't leave me? I can't say I mind you being devilishly handsome. Nor to I mind you distracting me by filling my thoughts full of your kisses instead of the balance beam, causing me to fall and hurt my poor little ankle," Leane teased between kisses.

"Would you like any ice for it, love?" Matthew asked as he brought Leane's lips to his own and gave her a passionate kiss, his tongue slipping between her lips. He wasn't sure what it was about her that made his willpower crumble but he wasn't one to complain.

"Your kisses are doing just fine," Leane whispered before returning his kisses. "I love you," she murmured softly against his lips. After a few more passionate kisses, Leane's lips trailed his jaw and neck, "So very very much."

Wrapping one of his hands in her soft hair, Matthew arched his neck for Leane's kisses. "I love you to." He whispered softly before bringing Leane's lips back to his own. Giving her a deep kiss, Matthew pulled Leane tighter against him as his tongue entered her mouth to caress her own.

Her hand sliding under the hem of his T-shirt, Leane caressed his skin as she returned his kisses. Getting lost in his kisses and the feel of her skin against his, Leane lost track of time and honestly didn't care what time it was. She was perfectly happy kissing the man she loved and staying right where she was for as long as she could.

Matthew led kisses down the side of Leane's neck, noticing the time out of the corner of his eyes. "Lee." He sighed. "Its almost midnight. You should be getting home soon. I don't want to make a bad impression on your father before I meet him." He laughed quietly, giving her a tender kiss.
